Dear MAGA: Open Topic 20181128

This SPECIAL WINTRY WEARY WRITING WOLF WEDNESDAY open thread is VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA world.

Say what you want, comment on what other people said, comment on people’s comments.  Keep it civil.  Treehouse rules, but expect lots of QAnon.

No illegalities, please, or we drop more nukes.  It’s that simple.

Sorry for the delays in getting this thread out.  I have a doozy coming.

SOON.  As they say! 😉

Alison

I just finished re-reading yesterday’s discussion thread, picking up valuable comments interspersed from later in the day, and I am so happy to see genuine, insightful dialogue again. It was stimulating in a way that has been missing. Kudos to Wolfie for an engaging format, and to each of you for your input. #MAGA

Alison

One example – I think it was Scott467 – discussing the fallacy of white hat/black hat, and how absolute labels like that might be not only inaccurate, but stifle our ability to discuss nuances and/or realities of human nature & the environment in which the Swamp operates.
We have an opportunity to elevate our conversations by acknowledging the ways we might have limited our thinking & distorted our expectations. President Trump is one man against many opposing forces and deeply entrenched institutions. There are so many competing priorities, and I hope we continue to identify & measure the incredible progress being made, as well as some of the people who have made that possible.
Jared Kushner comes to mind – he has been as villified by some of us as by the opposition. I don’t care if he & Ivanka are more liberal than I am, or if some of their social programs are too progressive for my taste. They are a different generation, and come from different culture than I. But I look at the ways President Trump has utilized them – especially Jared in trade & Israeli/Mideast dealings – and I can understand the value President Trump places on them. So my preference – rather than grumble about what I don’t like, is to learn more about what makes him tick, his net value-add, and celebrate what he has achieved. His future role in Mexico looks very interesting. BTW who is our Ambassador to Mexico?
I hope we can assess other personnel in a similar matter. Acknowledge pros/cons, and celebrate the value-adds.
I am also curious about who folks like Sec. Ross, Mnuchin, Lighthizer and Pompeo are grooming. We gnash about the Congressional Uniparty, but these men are solidly on the Trump team. I know little about their staffs. Every good businessman has succession plans identifying up & comers. If we have ways to research & inform each other on who & how they are mentoring & promoting, I would find those discussions interesting and a positive alternative to the seemingly intractable stasis at DOJ.

wheatietoo

Yes, Alison.
And I attribute PDJT’s approach to things, to his background in Business.
When you are running a business, your number one priority is to keep it running smoothly and productively…towards achieving your business goals.
You don’t concern yourself with whether someone sees eye-to-eye with you on politics.
You are concerned with…’does this person have the abilities needed to get the job done’.
This has worked against him in some instances, with people who are more concerned with petty politics than with doing their job.
But Pres Trump was not a career politician…so he has had to learn these things as he goes.
As for Jared and Ivanka…I am glad that PDJT has these family members in the WH, to be his eyes & ears, and watch his back.
They both have skills to contribute to the America First program…and they are working for Free.

NYGuy54

Absolutely nailed it.
It is the very aggressive choosing sides menatlity that has infected American politics..instead of looking for subject matter experts. Gary Cohn is a subject matter expert. So is Steve Mnuchin. Pres Trump picks people that can get the job done. Jared falls squarely into that hole.

wheatietoo

Hi, NYGuy54.
It’s good to see you here!

daughnworks247

I will admit, the idea of being the understudy to a Wilbur Ross, Lighthizer, or Mnuchin, makes me drool. Alison is right, however, we need to do an open source background of pics of them, see who is constantly at their side, and learn more about the JV on our team.

TheseTruths

“…the fallacy of white hat/black hat, and how absolute labels like that might be not only inaccurate, but stifle our ability to discuss nuances and/or realities of human nature & the environment in which the Swamp operates.”
Well said!
From the beginning it was clear that Pres. Trump knows how to get what he needs from people, even if they couldn’t pass some arbitrary litmus test imposed by others. That was my problem during the election with people who said Trump was not conservative enough. We weren’t electing a pastor or someone who would make America into a Christian monarchy; we needed a leader who knows how to get things done and who will take courageous stands and follow through.
I read that, unknown to most, Jared Kushner was instrumental and extremely effective in securing Pres. Trump’s win. Yet, one site that starts with a B trashed him and others in the administration relentlessly, to the point that I don’t go there anymore.
I wish more people would use imagination — not in the sense of making things up, but in realizing there are lots of possibilities for what might be going on. Most often, things aren’t black and white.

Deplorable Patriot

I get the idea that Jared Kushner is far more than advertised. In video of him and Ivanka, it’s very obvious he’s head over heals for her. VSG would not entrust a beloved daughter to a man who was not worthy.

Well would ya look at that, looks like DJT found yet another magic wand…
The WH must be FULL of them, like loose change in an old couch 😁
Amazing what can be done, if the man in the Oval Office is actually trying to HELP America instead of selling us out!

wheatietoo

I hope he does push for cutting off All Subsidies for electric cars.
Electric cars should be allowed to Survive On Their Own.
Let the market decide if they are a viable product.
The govt should not be using our tax dollars to ‘pick winners and losers’.
Tesla Motors has made millions.
Getting govt subsidies has helped them to do this.
Cut them off!
And Mary Barra is a globalist Dem who used to be at Disney.
Being a crony of the HusseinO crew…she advanced quickly at GM after the bailout.
Funny how the Dems claim to be “for workers”…yet they were the biggest promoters of off-shoring jobs to take advantage of the slave labor in other countries.

Heheh…I love that graphic!
I am old enough to remember the scare-mongering in the 70’s, claiming…”An Ice Age is Coming!”
Then, the sun cycles shifted back more activity, more sunspots.
This resulted in a bit of a ‘warming’ period.
So the scare-mongering shifted to…”Global Warming!”
It’s the Sun.
The sun has always been the prime-mover in earth’s climate.
That…and volcanic activity.

Alison

You are right – it is the sun and volcanos. My pilot friends tell me solar flares are THE #1 impact on everything having to do with weather & climate. Solar flare activity is unpredictable and fluctuates significantly in both frequency of flares and degree of magnitude of the flares. It is a fascinating subject, but one the climate alarmists ignore.
Volcanos – fact based experience tells you all you need to know about the magnitude of an eruption on our earth’s atmosphere & climate impacts. You can’t control Mother Nature.

Alison

Great graphic. I’d like to see two additions … the year Al Gore became a billionaire from his climate hoax activities, and the year Tom Steyer became a billionaire from his taxpayer subsidized renewable energy ventures.

wheatietoo

Yep.
That whole ‘Carbon Credit’ scheme was diabolical…and very lucrative for Al Gore and other Dems who profess to be trying to “save the planet”.
But the truth is, the polluters don’t have to stop polluting…they just buy ‘carbon credits’ and go right on polluting.
And guys like Al Gore made millions off of brokering those ‘carbon credits’.
What a farce.

Five hundred sixty nine days on the bannedwagon, but who’s counting?
Big things a comin’!!
Cheer up; Hitlary Klinton is in charge of Mexican food. She’s Nacho President.
**You may have noticed that yesterday, I posted 567. That’s because I was calculating on the basis of the 26th, not the 27th, because it was before midnight here in Colorado when I wrote the post.

Alison

Isn’t that kinda like counting ballots after election day is over? 😂😂
But only you & Brenda Snipes are counting…

White House Christmas tree lighting ceremony early this evening:
https://twitter.com/POTUS_Schedule/status/1067616931782582272

wheatietoo

I have wondered if this twitter account is manned by someone on the Q team.
It often posts the exact arrival/departure times of Potus.
And…down to the second.
Who would have those times?
And no one from the White House has ever refuted any of the things that this twitter account has posted.

churchmouse

Yes, I’m positive someone on the Q team manages it.
Every now and then there are Q type messages. I have bookmarked several. They began appearing in July and there was at least one in August. Here is one of them:
https://twitter.com/POTUS_Schedule/status/1032754173127872512

wheatietoo

Yes…thank you, Churchmouse!
I knew that I’d seen some other clues, but couldn’t remember exactly what they were.

daughnworks247

Okay, this is weird. Churchmouse and Wheatie, I follow the same account. Thought the similarities to Q were uncanny. Potus_Schedule has also posted flight plans when PDJT was doing so many rallies prior to the midterms. I copied those pics/schedules and re-posted them into our big group to keep people updated. Former airmen came back and asked me to remove the posts because the detail was to great and posed a threat.

wheatietoo

Did you tell those former airmen that those pics/schedules were already ‘out there’ from being posted on tweets?
Heheh.

daughnworks247

Yeah, but they were nervous and didn’t like it. Of course, we can admire their patriotic sense to protect POTUS, but you two are correct, this account posts schedules down to the second and a myriad of detail no one else would normally have.

churchmouse

Remember a recent press gathering before PDJT boarded Marine One and he said that what O did to the military was unforgivable and is putting Americans in danger?

Laura Ingraham rightly sounds the alarm on voter fraud:

wheatietoo

Laura does some good stuff.
Then sometimes she says things that make me want to slap her upside the head.
In her show Tuesday evening…she did this rant about how “We need a new AG now!”
And she railed on about how Pres Trump needs to appoint a new AG, like immediately.
I disagree.
It makes more sense to wait till the next Senate session, when we will have moar R-Senators.
Pres Trumps appointee for AG will face less resistance then.
I can’t help but wonder…if this is why Lindsey Graham has been keeping company with PDJT lately.
Is Lindsey providing counsel on Who the nominee should be?

churchmouse

Agree with you on Laura.
Re a new AG, why can’t she just urge Whitaker to do his thing? He’s only been AAG for three weeks.
Right now, I’d be happy for him to do 210 days (or fewer) then have the President appoint another AAG.
Conservatives need to start thinking out of the box a bit, especially on this issue.
Re Lindsey Graham, I hope none of his suggested candidates get the AG job. He would do better focussing on judicial nominees, where he can be trusted.

wheatietoo

Agree…but Lindsey is a gossipy little thing.
He probably knows things about potential nominees…things that are not common knowledge that could be exploited by the Dems, during the confirmation hearings.

churchmouse

Thanks for pointing that out. Useful!

Deplorable Patriot

Lindsey unshackled is something to behold. And that’s what seems to have happened. He’s back to being his old self. No Name must have had some massive hold on him.
And him being gossipy, there is no better place for him to be than the Senate dining room.

NebraskaFilly

Yeah, he is back to his old obstructionist self – refusing to vote for the finance bill unless they get a briefing from Haskel/Clowns on Khasshogi! What BS!

andrew1979

he said today that he wants an explanation from the CIA on what happened to saudi fake wapo reporter. he is not moving on from it apparently. not sure how to take that, and what opportunities that will bring or take away depending on who wins a spin war.
i find it hard to believe there will be any believable information coming forth from that agency.

Bongino on Mueller probe:
https://twitter.com/dbongino/status/1067586109197205506
Meanwhile, there is this on Paul Manafort (excerpts follow):
https://thehill.com/policy/national-security/418532-manafort-plea-decision-represents-setback-for-mueller
‘Manafort was seen as a valuable potential witness in Mueller’s investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Moscow.
‘The decision to call him out as a liar effectively takes his testimony off the table, removing a valuable asset for the government. It comes after a lengthy trial where prosecutors won guilty verdicts against Trump’s former campaign chairman.
‘“They viewed him as giant prize and that’s why they were willing to take the risk of exposing parts of the investigation by going to trial,” said Seth Waxman, a lawyer and former federal prosecutor in D.C. “To lose the cooperation of Manafort is a devastating loss for the government.”
‘The government has accused Manafort of breaching his plea agreement by repeatedly lying to federal investigators. It asked a federal judge on Monday to move forward with Manafort’s sentencing just more than two months after he began cooperating.
‘Mueller’s prosecutors wrote that Manafort lied to the FBI and the special counsel’s office “on a variety of subject matters,” saying they would file a “detailed sentencing submission” to the probation department and federal court laying out the nature of his lies.’
It also looks as if Mueller’s investigation will go into 2019, if Manafort’s sentencing is any indication. I do not know if it is.
This seems really unjust because the following (AFAIK) has nothing to do with the Trump campaign, and the DoJ had already closed the file on him several years ago. Then, the Mueller team re-opened it:
‘Manafort is scheduled to be sentenced in February for his conviction on the eight counts of bank and tax fraud in his Virginia criminal trial. He faces a maximum of 80 years in prison in that case alone, but experts have said he likely won’t get that much time. Judges often allow sentences for separate charges to run concurrently. Federal prosecutors said in an earlier filing in that case that Manafort was likely to get eight to 10 years alone for the tax fraud charges.
‘In his plea deal to avert a second trial in D.C., Manafort pled guilty to two felony charges related to his foreign lobbying. In violating the agreement, he eviscerated his chance to get a lighter sentence for the charges in D.C. and Virginia.
‘Wu said prosecutors now essentially hold the keys to his prison cell.
‘“Without leniency on the part of prosecutors … that’s going to be a heavy hit for him particularly at his age,” he said.
‘Experts say Manafort has also opened himself up to potential new charges. Prosecutors could now charge the 69-year-old with lying to federal officials.’

Deplorable Patriot

Even money he gets pardoned. This was a move and countermove to set up precedent I’m willing to bet.

churchmouse

I hope Manafort gets pardoned.
His case — several years old — was closed, then reopened. Good grief. Aren’t there laws against that?

NebraskaFilly

This is all so much BS – hey, Muleface – PODESTA BROTHERS!!!!! Did the SAME dang thing!!!!

churchmouse

trumpismine

Tear gas — and pepper spray — were also used at the border during the Obama years:
https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/nov/26/obama-administration-used-tear-gas-border-once-mon/
‘U.S. Customs and Border Protection has used 2-chlorobenzylidene malononitrile, or CS, since 2010, and deployed it 26 times in fiscal 2012 and 27 times in 2013. The use dropped after that, but was still deployed three times in 2016, Mr. Obama’s final full year in office …
‘Border authorities also use another agent, pepper spray, frequently — including a decade-high record of 151 instances in 2013, also under Mr. Obama. Pepper spray, officially known as Pava Capsaicin, was used 43 times in fiscal year 2018, according to the CBP numbers.’

‘RUCKER: Sir, you just said, maybe he did, maybe he didn’t, but are you getting the best advice and the best information from the intelligence community and on the climate issue from your experts in the government, because you’re doubting what they’re saying?
‘TRUMP: Phil, I’m getting advice. I’m the president of this country. I have to do what’s the best for our country. We have a very important ally in Saudi Arabia. We have an ally that has tremendous oil reserves, which are — frankly, they can make prices go up and down, and I want to keep them down. We have an ally that’s investing billions and billions of dollars in our country. They could very easily invest $110 billion, $450 billion overall over a period of time, fairly short period of time. $110 billion in military …
‘The Washington Post Fact Checker has ruled that these numbers are fantasy.’

churchmouse

From the Presidential thread:
‘Bigbadmike says:

‘I’m not going to say that the CTH has become a refuge for Trump hating trolls. But after tonight’s huge win in MS and the LSM and FOX ignoring it and this site also ignoring it, Lame Cherry might be right about Sunprancer.’
Hmm.
Lame Cherry claims Over There tried to smear him in 2016. Does anyone remember that? I don’t, but that might have occurred earlier in the year before I started reading Over There:
http://lamecherry.blogspot.com/2018/04/the-conbots-of-red-status.html

Sylvia Avery

Hmm… I remember people used to post comments about things Lame Cherry said but it sticks in my mind there was a lot of derision about LC. I wasn’t paying a lot of attention because I didn’t know who LC was.

churchmouse

I first found out about LC in 2008 from Hillary’s campaign supporters, when LC came out against Obama.
There’s a whole long episode I won’t detail whereby Obama’s people intimidated Hillary’s people into voting for O as candidate at the DNC convention that year. Recall that there was no roll call in 2008. Hillary’s people largely refused — mostly women but also some men. For that, O’s people threatened them and a documentary film was eventually made based on lengthy interviews with those who had threats not only against themselves, but also their families.
It was out of all of that that many of those Hillary people — O opponents (present day ex-Dems who supported McCain and Romney) — started linking to all manner of anti-O blogs and websites. LC was one of those, and it was quoted widely. LC seems to have had some sort of intelligence community background and writes in a weird way so as not to attract surveillance, which was active in 2008.
One either likes or dislikes LC. Personally, I think LC is a man, but I could be wrong. It would be the sort of chop-busting persona he would adopt. LC used to refer to him/herself as ‘the popular girl’, an ironic reference to having attracted so much website interference, much of which he detailed several years ago. LC’s companion for several years now has been Tiger Lily.
LC’s latest posts have been about Martin Luther’s view of the sacraments. LC’s mother recently died, hence the preoccupation with subjects spiritual. LC was raised a Lutheran but with some Evangelical and perhaps Holiness Church influences.
LC does not like PDJT, BTW, and finds him ‘vulgar’. LC, it is thought, once worked in a large American metropolis. From the blog, it appears that LC returned home to a rural area, probably in one of the Prairie states.
Sorry, TMI, but I’ve been following LC now for ten years. This is as potted a summary as I could give.

Deplorable Patriot

NOT a LC fan here. Over the years she/it has played so coy as to essentially be playing keep away with whatever he or she knows. I quit following a couple years ago. Every now and then, when the writing was clear, things would make sense, but it’s curious that the chosen platform is Blogger which is a google tool if this person is so much in the know.
That and offenses to something very beloved to me, I just could not continue there.

churchmouse

Sooner or later, LC touches a nerve.
I can understand why readers turn off.

Tonawanda

At CTH I defended Lame Cherry based strictly on her frequent brilliant pairing of seemingly unconnected circumstances, events or facts. I cannot remember any one of those, but they were there.
Her literary style was intriguing. It was not the mishmash a casual reading would suggest. Maybe having read Charles Bukowski was good preparation for reading Lame Cherry.
It was impossible not to be touched by the stories about her cows, or other personal details.
The mixture of Christianity and the most crude of crude vulgarity was unique. (I am not bothered by crude vulgarity if it is funny).
Honestly, the far out postulations were at worst entertaining and fascinating to me, but the disparagement of Trump turned me off entirely.
Regarding Sundance, my impression was that LC was making too much out of the situation and may have liked having that dispute.

NebraskaFilly

I had never followed the link but read it just now – a LOT of anger there……

trumpismine

Would hit that site every once in a while…LC is polished and profane. different

Deplorable Patriot

Sundance – and any other blogger claiming inside information – was a challenge to LCs authority and staked out place in the insider universe.

Tonawanda

Interesting.

daughnworks247

When it does not make sense, look for the hidden cause. Nothing made sense about the shift at CTH. Gosh, I hope SD and family are okay.

churchmouse

Also from the Presidential thread. A bit surprising (see second and third paras from the end)?
‘albertus magnus says:
November 28, 2018 at 12:33 am
‘I love President Trump and will always support him. I do not believe there is any collusion, obstruction of justice and, to be frank, even if there had been, I still would support him.
‘However, I am tired of all of the BS about Mueller, RR or ANY of them. PDJT has been in charge for 2 years. At some point, HE bears responsibility for what is done about all of this.
‘Tonight on Lou Dobbs, Victoria Toensing was talking about all of this…and in her typical fashion, when Lou Dobbs asked her WHY PDJT doesnt do anything regarding declassifying the FISA, she MOVED the goal posts to want PDJT to wait until he gets his new AG…NOT Whittaker…the permanent one. Then preceded to trot out that shiniest of objects, Paul Ryan, to try to blame all of this on him. No ma’am. Before the election, you and your husband were all over TV saying PDJT just needed to wait until after the mid-terms.
‘Same BS with Jim Jordan and the wall funding. After giving lip service to full funding, said JJ said he would accept what he would get.
‘PDJT can declassify all of this NOW…if the investigation continues, he is responsible.
PDJT can SHUT DOWN the government NEXT WEEK if they dont fully fund his the wall…if it doesnt have NEXT WEEK, IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN when the DEMS take the House. It is ON him.
‘Not interested in all of these political calculations and excuses. Hannity on his radio show made it all about Clinton and Obama. NOPE. They were evil, no doubt about it. But IF THIS CONTINUES, it is on PDJT.
‘There better be a plan, is all I have to say. Tired of trying to engage and push MAGA when PDJT doesnt act….I dont know what to say when people opine that he didnt collude but maybe PDJT is protecting someone else, like DJT, Jr.
‘PDJT is not acting like an innocent man, although I have no doubt he is. He is acting like he is covering up for SOMEONE.
‘There better be a plan. STOP THE BS.
‘Sorry, if I offend anyone here. Love you all and most importantly, LOVE PDJT and all MAGA patriots. But NO MORE EXCUSES.’

wheatietoo

Eww…that’s a stinky one.
Looks like despair-trolls have accomplished their goal with Albertus magnus.
He used to be one of the more optimistic and positive posters.
That ‘demoralization’ stuff is toxic.
And the pundits on Fox are engaging in it too, now.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Albertus Magnus attacked me almost immediately as a troll when I first showed up at Can’t Tolerate Heterodoxy (CTH).

churchmouse

Albertus Magnus might fit into the personality profile I was describing in one of yesterday’s threads.
So, yes, I can see the immediate accusation.
‘Can’t Tolerate Heterodoxy (CTH)’: that’s the line of the year! 🙂 Please remind us of that every chance you get.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Yeah, I think he said “Your concern is noted.”
Ironically, the original definition of “concern troll” was someone who’d come onto your website and nominally agree with you but argue with your tactics. Someone going to Donald Trump and saying “I really like what you’re doing but you really ought to tone down the twitter thing since it only riles up the opposition” would be a concern troll by this older definition.

churchmouse

Thank you for that reminder, Steve.
Yes, the ‘concern’ was never stated as such and always followed the empty compliment.

A certain amount of trust is required when you support someone who is privy to national and international secrets. To blame Pres. Trump when we don’t know all the factors involved, his strategy, or his timeline is unconscionable, in my opinion.

Sylvia Avery

‘‘There better be a plan, is all I have to say.
STOP THE BS.’
Well. I’m kind of appalled, actually. Tired of trying to push MAGA when PDJT doesn’t act? DOESN’T ACT? Merciful heavens! I’ve never seen someone work so hard in all my life.
And no, he isn’t doing everything I want him to do and that I think he should do. But I have to remind myself he has access to info I do not, even though until recently I was a regular reader at CTH. (Ahem. Small joke.) I want justice NOW! Thunderbolts and lightening very very frightening! Arrests! Orange jumpsuits by the Sealand container! Firing Squads! I want it all!
But as PDJT has been telling us since the beginning, you can’t always get what you want but maybe sometimes you get what you need. I accept, reluctantly, that I might not get everything I want, but I continue to pray this country gets what it needs. And I continue to trust PDJT to deliver on that.

I don’t think this is enough to stop the Democrat mollasfication of the confirmation process for executive branch appointees and judges, BUT it will make it more likely that appointees will be approved in the end.

NebraskaFilly

Oh, no doubt they will try, with the assistance of my POS, Sasse, most likely.

Tonawanda

I generally liked Albert Magnus, but he turned on a dime against Sessions, 180 degrees in a very short period. I think he was affected by peer pressure.
I posted several times that CTH was heading in an anti-Trump direction. It was very surprising to me that Sundance did not rein in the daily barrage of tourettes-like posts, the unstated premise of which was anti-Trump.
It now appears that Sundance might share those anti-Trump sentiments. Who knows what he has been told? Like Stone was told by the “reliable” Bernie Bro?
As I sit here at this moment, it is amazing to me that so many of the thoughtful posters were removed, but the Rain Men wackos are still there.
W’s under the radar information about the attack on conservative websites is very disturbing.

churchmouse

You saw it before many of us did, Tonawanda.

Gudthots

As I was handling the chores today I got to thinking about how intense our former host was about S.O.O.N. and all that came with it. And then, it dd not happen. Disappointment is quite a toxic shock for nearly everyone. Perhaps the behavior could be compared to the aftermath of discovering you’ve become a jilted lover?

Tonawanda

This may very well be true. Sundance used to graphically suggest the sequence of events by placing the pictures of Goodlatte, Horowitz and Sessions with the words “next up” (I believe, IIRC), implying how the prosecutions would unfold. Then Sessions made Sundance look foolish by not prosecuting.
We have to remember, Sundance single-handedly was uncovering the FISA abuses and the corrupt Clinton/DNC/government plot to bring down Trump. He AND WE fully expected Sundance to be acknowledged as the guy who brought justice to the bad guys.
What we didn’t know (apparently, just speculating) were three things: 1) how thoroughly Mueller’s investigation entered into all sorts of governance issues, as move and countermove were made by each side; 2) how the guy in absolute charge of fighting Mueller (Trump) was thinking on a “granular” level (to coin a phrase); 3) and how Sessions in fact fitted into the whole picture.
I get the sense that Mueller and his corrupt team (media, Dems, etc) and Trump were engaged in a daily battle of Chicken, or of You First.
Do you remember the evening when Sundance posted in big red letters words like “it’s happening tomorrow,” and what happened was the sun rose and the sun set, nothing else. No one said a word to ask what he meant, or to point out he was “wrong.”
I very much think Sundance was getting some sort of information which could fairly be called “insider” information in some sense, and he may have been misled, adding to the jilted lover feelings, although I now think Wolfmoon is very correct in suspecting that Sundance has been the object of persecution and repression (gaslighting) by very professional enemy disinformation agents.

Deplorable Patriot

Instant gratification has spoiled us.

churchmouse

On the other hand — his comment aside — we have only two weeks left before any chance of meaningful prosecution is lost.
Meanwhile, Mueller’s still up and running.
Hell, we waited PATIENTLY: 21 months for nothing.
That was our golden MAGA window of opportunity in this regard. We relied on someone to do it. Has someone who no longer there squandered it? IMO, YES.
Then comes the 2020 election, and that, too, will be another nail-biter.
The Dems will be dining even more richly this Christmas unless something happens within the next week to ten days.

Deplorable Patriot

Patience is a virtue that is distinctly not American.
When situations like this present themselves, I think of Abraham and Sarah; Elizabeth and her husband; Sts. Joachim and Anne. They waited for years for their offspring, who today would be considered miracles. Things happen as they do for a reason.
We don’t know what we don’t know.

churchmouse

Just so you know, I have read your comment.

Deplorable Patriot

I know you have. I still maintain patience is not a great American virtue. We’re go-getters, not think it through at the speed of glacier.

Sylvia Avery

A couple nights ago, our local TV nightly news Commies were reporting BREATHLESSLY on GM cutting those 15,000 jobs and gosh Starbucks is cutting jobs (old news) and could this mean a RECESSION is coming?
I had heard the word “recession” earlier that day also. Then I noticed that two of the three states losing GM jobs are in battleground states we need for 2020. And then I read where BO had been meeting with the GM CEO just a week or so before she announced the job cuts/factory closings.
Then I heard Lou Dobbs and Ed Rollins talking today about the lousy PR for GM to make this announcement just before Christmas and with no real persuasive reasons as to why they are doing it.
This all mixes up in my head with a shot of Maker’s Mark (thanks for the suggestion Daughn) and I am now convinced that SOB BO put the screws to the GM CEO to cut these jobs to try to hurt the economy and cost PDJT votes in key states for 2020.
Do I sound crazy? Maybe I need another shot of Maker’s Mark to help me mull this over further.

Sylvia Avery

I remember my dad saying “What’s good for GM is good for America many times.” I’d forgotten that until now.
This GM stuff and “recession” talk made me think about that truly wretched individual Bill Maher saying the economy needed to tank so PDJT doesn’t get reelected.
I know that to a certain degree the economy is based on confidence in it. If they kill our confidence in the economy, it can go into a downward spiral.
I don’t think BO stands a chance in hell of actuallly doing this, but he is throwing all of his 110 lbs (soaking wet) at the target and trying his wimpiest to create an impact.
That GM CEO needs to be horsewhipped in the public square.

Sylvia Avery

Well, I guess I am at least comforted that it isn’t just my suspicious mind. It all seems a little too convenient, doesn’t it?
We definitely need more info. I suspect we’ll get it. PDJT is not a happy camper with GM.

daughnworks247

I woke up laughing. The news this morning is that PDJT is teaming up with Trudeau to save GM. Here we go. Now our glorious POTUS is going to save Canada as well. I love it. Let’s see what happens. He’s wading in and PDJT never retreats.

Sylvia Avery

That’s funny!!!

wheatietoo

Sylvia, the Dems and the globalists are going to try everything they can to bring down Pres Trump’s approval numbers.
Remember…Maxine Waters blabbed that if they can “get his approval down, then we Impeach”.
“‘Peach foatie fie!”
So they are cheering on a recession.
Well, good luck with that.
Thanks to our President, the combination of lower corp taxes + cutting regulations, is bringing back manufacturing as well as production-jobs of all sorts.
GM is going to get more bad press about this job-killing move than Pres Trump will get.
There is nothing that he has done, that can be blamed as the ’cause’ of what GM is doing.

daughnworks247

New report out now, obscure website (won’t even post the link) which states Mary Barra was on Hillary Clinton’s VP list.
Another report says Mary Barra came out of Disney and rose rapidly post bailout.
Looks like the anons and others on digging for info on Mary Barra.
Might take a day or two

andrew1979

how could just one person fast-tracked into a position of power be able to make the decision to do this? i mean, of course, she built a team and over a couple years they weakened certain factions in the company, but this seems downright strange.
frankly, i never was a ford person growing up, but over time i have come to see ford as probably the most viable american automobile company, by the range of vehicles they have and the utility of the vehicles.
i would not even bat an eye if GM is completely disbanded and left to rot like it probably should have been less than 10 years ago. if we are about MAGA then those not on board can take their stuff elsewhere. i would assume there is a huge workforce in sub saharan africa where all the “refugees” are coming from that are flooding europe. huge swaths of land, go there and build your cars GM.

daughnworks247

I’m looking at it from another point of view. The left started to infiltrate charitable boards of directors in the mid-90’s. Things like Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Red Cross, Ford Foundation, and we can see the results today.
I’m thinking they did the same thing with corporate boards. Mary Barra at GM, the entire debacle with Jeffrey Immelt, Viacom, Disney, are all examples of radical progressive CEO’s who were dependent on taxpayer grants/subsidies/crony biz deals.
THINK about all the CEO’s who fold and run for cover in the face of 10K phone calls from radical feminists. Did you ever think you would see an American CEO purposely annihilate HALF their biz in America (red states) to please an angry mob?
Horrible leadership. Not what is taught in biz school.

This CEO may well be doing this to hurt MAGA, but what about the shareholders?
I find it hard to believe that Mary Barra will be the CEO moving forward.

Alison

I’m guessing 10 largest shareholders are giant financial firms or foreign funds whose goals align with Wall Street, not Main Street. They wouldn’t give a rat’s ass where GM cars are made as long as it fits their Globalist agenda. Heck, auto companies don’t even have to be profitable if they are favored for taxpayer subsidies & bailouts. And they are in a position to ‘manage’ whatever financial hit comes on the stock price because the REAL money is made in dark corners inhabited by the Barack/Hillary/Soros cabal.
Let’s watch this unfold.

daughnworks247

Well, reducing costs (salaries) pops the stock price. GM is up today.

She won’t care. She’s sitting pretty, no doubt.
It was for the greater DNC/O cause. Kill the recovery, hence ‘Trump can’t win’ in 2020.

I think this goes with the tariff thing. GM crying and laying the blame on steel tariffs. Kinda like the countries we tariff not buying our soybeans and stuff to intentionally hurt states where PDJT won. They are trying to peel support away from PDJT. And yes, Mary Barra is a bigtime lefty. My uncle retired from GM just as she was taking over and wanted nothing to do with her agenda. All they wanted to do was fudge the numbers and promote feminism/lgbt agendas. He worked in their HQ in accounting.

CM in TN

Forgive my spelling…fat fingered mechanic trying to type on a phone…lol.

5’5 1/2” to 5’2.” Plus arthritis forced me to shed the 3” spikes.

NebraskaFilly

I haven’t lost much height, thankfully. I have always been 5’4″ and as for the 3″ spikes – hmmm…..I guess about 15 years ago or so I decided I was done with the facade of perfect hair, make-up, and sky-high heels. Decided if I wasn’t good enough as I am, well, that’s just too darned bad! About the same time I gave up on men! LOL

Plain Jane

She always had her chin up for us surviving girls especially after my dad died when I was 10, but I could tell she never “recovered.” No one “recovers” from death of loved ones. Pieces of her died also.

Plain Jane

Nope. I know I didn’t, especially once I realized he was going after the fed and DS.

singularZoe

Yes, true, except I didn’t know he was going after the Fed and deep state until years later. We just knew something was wrong and that there was a cover-up. And we were not blind to JFK’s mistakes and wrecklessness and the way he treated Jackie. Hate to say.

She does it to great effect. I always thought it was a European thing since I can’t get coats to sit like that effectively.

wheatietoo

Ladies coats back in the 30’s and 40’s, the better ones, would have little ‘loops’ made of cord…that were inside the shoulders.
You put your arms through them, like little inside ‘backpack’ straps.
They served to keep your coat in place, without putting your arms through the sleeves.
I suspect that FL Melania is reviving this classic couture feature.
When she is wearing a coat like that…just draped over her shoulders like a cape…it sits there so secured, doesn’t slip in the slightest.
That’s what made me remember seeing those little ‘inside loops’ in coats I had seen in a Classic Clothing shop.

Plain Jane

NebraskaFilly

Speaking of church – that reminds me of something that was printed in a NE newspaper:
No Excuse Sunday
In order to make it possible for everyone to attend church next week, we are planning a special no-excuse Sunday.
1. Cots will be placed in the vestibule for those who say “Sunday is my only day for sleeping in.”
2. Eye drops will be available for those whose eyes are tired from watching TV too late on Saturday night.
3. We will have steel helmets for those who believe the roof will cave in if they show up for church.
4. Blankets will be furnished for those who complain that the church is too cold. Fans will be on hand for those who say the church is too hot.
5. We will have hearing aids for the parishioners who say “The pastor doesn’t talk loud enough.” There will be cotton for those who say “The pastor talks too loud.”
6. Score cards will be available for those who wish to count the hypocrites.
7. We guarantee that some relatives will be present for those who like to go visiting on Sunday.
8. There will be TV dinners available for those who claim they can’t go to church and cook dinner, too.
9. One section of the church will have some trees and grass for those who see God in nature, especially on the golf course.
10. The sanctuary will be decorated with both Christmas poinsettias and Easter lilies to create a familiar environment for those who have never seen the church without them.

phoenixRising

churchmouse

I did a web search on red Christmas trees. They’re a fashion statement, available at many US Christmas retail stores.
Plus, she was able to tie in the Founding Fathers’ era’s association of the colour red with bravery (as per the White House announcement):
https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/first-lady-melania-trump-unveils-christmas-white-house-2018/
‘The choice of red is an extension of the pales, or stripes, found in the presidential seal designed by our Founding Fathers. It’s a symbol of valor and bravery.’

Deplorable Patriot

It’s also an old Christian custom symbolizing the Blood of Christ in the Passion. This is the same reason Easter eggs (symbol of new life) were originally red. It is the color of passion. Our brethren in the east were the first to do this.

churchmouse

I still have not been able to find an online link to support that statement.
I understand the Easter egg symbolism but have never seen a red Christmas tree (only in photos) until recently.
I have also known many devout Christians of Eastern European descent (where this custom is notionally popular) and not one of them has ever mentioned red Christmas trees.

Deplorable Patriot

I’ve seen a number this year, and would have to look for them. Easter eggs I’ve seen over and over again through the years. There’s other things the east emphasized that the west picked up, but a lot of that did not survive the revolt in some sects.

Deplorable Patriot

Do NOT like the sound of this. Plain and simply WRONG! It was pretty obvious that the control was going to be attempted through the national software for medical records (even if ER docs find it valuable for patient care), but they’re not even hiding it anymore.

That will get Amazon in violation of HIPPA and definitely a Federal indictment.

That would be welcome news.
However, maybe there is a loophole they were able to exploit. Win-win for Amazon and healthcare providers. If so, that is terrible.

andrew1979

i drop hints to this a lot here, and i know i sound negative at times, but we need to come to the realization that we are bought and sold – it’s a done deal guys. unless you have been living in the woods – and i mean really living in the woods – since the late 80’s at a minimum – there is so much information on you compiled and databased that there is no going back.
the profiles are made. the data is kept. it can be mined and is being mined. we are giving them more and more information each day willingly. and it all correlates back and is sortable and compartmentalized.
just for example, we talk about these FISA things, we have kind of an idea in our head about what they are. we have kind of an idea about how computers work. we have kind of an idea about surveillance and “spying”. we have kind of an idea about how say the fusion gps people were doing those “about” searches on the NSA “database”.
this is not some Access database someone set up for your HR department. this is not a bunch of Excel spreadsheets with 60 tabs each. this is something completely different.
every word you speak into your phone – and frankly, every word you speak AROUND your phone (especially if you have convenient features like voice to text / siri / google assistant, etc turned on) your words are recorded, saved to a file, stored in a datacenter. i mean, just yesterday i tripped off google search page FOUR times by just doing searches for actually random things, but once one of those things was about a non profit for immigrant law and that tied to my other searches, i was immediately stopped each search and had to click the 50 captcha boxes to prove i was not a robot. see, goodle said hey, this seems suspicious so here is your search term, we have that stored, here is your IP address, we have that, here is your userAgent info, we have that, and now prove to us you are not a robot. you jump through their hoops but they have now a record. so i made 4 entries into google’s “suspicious” database last night – and honestly there was no evil intent on my part. i was was searching for something someone mentioned to me, and as i have done for years, my search branched off when i found something interesting.
THEN after that – and who has been noticing this – many sites now are “protected” by software from “CloudFare” that purports to protect these sites from DOS attacks. so, this sketchy company is suddenly implemented to stop me from opening up my search link AFTER i click the 65 images of street signs and bicycles and trees…and cloudfare says, hey, it appears suspicious that you want to access this site – hang on we are making a record of this AND it states right there – we are checking your connection/computer to make sure it’s not an attack.
so, think about it, random harmless search, leads into google flagging me, then i am flagged by cloudfare. eventually the search and info is harder to get to so i just get mad and shut it down.
this is where the concept of the social scores and all that comes in. it’s a profiling thing. now they know who is in my building via ip address (we all have google accounts) they know what searches came from there, etc…
i could go on and on and i think i am just telling you stuff you already know, but i am being very honest here – we do NOT want to understand how all this works and we do not want to accept that it’s done and dusted, and we don’t want to believe that we are monitored and why would anyone be interested in my stuff.
this is where the blockchain stuff comes in, this is where the AI stuff comes in, this is where real time modeling and tracking is commonplace.
we are moving rapidly into a situation where reality is going to become skewed and almost unprovable. i mean it might be a couple years or whatever, could be tomorrow, could have already happened i am not sure. but it is coming. we are completely owned by them. our cars, our houses, our phones, our computers and private files, our eating habits, our exercise habits – hell people have been BEGGING to give them health monitoring data for years now with the fitbits and iphone stuff, and now it is ubiquitous in phones and watches of course. they know who it is. they have our health profile based on the food, the stuff we buy, and by our health monitoring for those who have been unfortunate enough to fall for that. and i know, it was very convenient and good for you to know right? i mean, look how it motivated you to walk more! you just made it to level 3 stairclimber! great job! and you are so happy… ok, you have given all your data on your physical habits to them for some motivation to “live healthier”?????? you had to be motivated by a fitbit or an apple watch or phone?
like i said yesterday, for me this whole thing with earth and society is on a whole other level. the spiritual beings, or aliens or whatever they are, those are real. for the bible folks it’s the devil and jesus and angels and demons, for others it’s shapeshifting reptilian beings, etc…whatever you want to call it i am fine – but these things are real. i always marveled at people at church or even my folks who would talk about the evil, the prince of darkness, the demonic spirits in the bible – yet i KNOW 100% they cannot fathom what they are talking about. they are fine with that of course because they say “we give it all over to jesus, and trust him that he will take care of us, and some of this stuff is not for us to know”… that is why i strayed from that path and needed to find deeper answers.
just to give an example, i say to a church fellow, hey, you say that jesus is coming back some day, with a trumpet sound, and will take all the believers to heaven, those that are dead first and then those that are alive and remain. and then there’s going to be an antichrist and tribulation and then a great war where the spirtits of hell and the legions of heaven will battle and the devil will be defeated and cast into a great pit…that’s correct my friend tells me.
and yet he doesn’t think that his typing is keystroked, he doesn’t think his email is read, he doesn’t think his car is tracked. and he absolutely does not believe that there is an evil ancient power struggle going on and that the whole construct of what we perceive is really a cover for what’s underneath. there is never going to be a time when people are just coasting along and utopia is achieved and republicans and democrats work to make our country great and there is not going to be anything for our grandkids (well, i say that for me personally, some of you already have grandkids i imagine) as the saying goes.
that’s why i think all of this stuff, such as the pizzagate, there is absolutely fact here. there are unspeakable evils here. people are killed every day to satisfy the agenda of others. our minds do not want to go there, we do not want to actually think about and picture and see this stuff…which is unfortunate because that is the only way to know and be convinced otherwise we wait until it “comes out” and by then it is too late.
my main point is PLEASE open up your minds to MANY possibilities and do all you can to prepare yourselves.

NebraskaFilly

HIPAA (I think) focuses on patient privacy by not allowing their medical records to be shared inappropriately. But this is one’s own doctor, who already knows what’s in the records, hawking products on behalf of Amazon. We need a law to protect patients against this.

I’ll tell you what, having steel come back is a boon for this nation. US Steal’s Granite City blast furnaces being reopened has meant so much to members of my family. A cousin was telling me about someone she knows who has just become a different person now that he’s back and working in the plant. For so many reasons it was such a boost.

NebraskaFilly

It is also a national security issue, of course. We should use our OWN steel as much as possible for our military vehicles (of all kinds), at a minimum, IMO.

Deplorable Patriot

Yes, exactly. Why would a nation that could be in the crosshairs of our military in the future sell us steel that wasn’t flawed in some way.

andrew1979

yes, but since the day the news came out that he would be testifying i have been looking on the house and senate websites for confirmation of this and have yet to find anything. i cannot find this story also on any MSM sites. only on conservative leaning sites…maybe i am not looking hard enough.

NebraskaFilly

At this point, all I can find is they “plan to hear testimony” from Huber – not sure of the date on this article:
“Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) said Tuesday that House Republicans plan to hear testimony on Dec. 5 from the prosecutor appointed by former Attorney General Jeff Sessions to probe alleged wrongdoing by the Clinton Foundation.
Meadows, who is chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Subcommittee on Government Operations, told Hill.TV’s “Rising” that it’s time to “circle back” to U.S. Attorney John Huber’s investigation with the Justice Department into whether the Clinton Foundation engaged any improper activities.
“Mr. Huber with the Department of Justice and FBI has been having an investigation — at least part of his task was to look at the Clinton Foundation and what may or may not have happened as it relates to improper activity with that charitable foundation, so we’ve set a hearing date for December the 5th,” he told Hill.TV during an interview on Wednesday.”

Drug addict is definitely possible. We do have a big drug problem here, and being on the crossroads of the major interstates, that isn’t going to change. The fact that he was on a bus was curious. In this metro, those who don’t need to generally don’t take public transportation. It’s not efficient and has gone back to being dangerous in some places and on some lines, although definitely not in Chesterfield which is the epitome of suburbia.
If these guys are being offed, Ferguson may well be in the process of being covered up. The concept that it was false flag is more than a little satisfying if that’s the case.
There was a big argument here at the time over the whole matter. I was one of the ones who maintained it just wasn’t us. Rioting, setting things on fire just is not the way things are done here. The list of targets that were symbols of white privilege or supremacy or whatever published by the Black Lives Matter group(s) included the five cultural institutions that are free to everyone thanks to being on a tax base. When that came out, I knew the whole thing was cooked up somewhere else. No one who was a native would target the zoo, or the garden let alone the art museum. Nope. They belong to everyone, and we are very proud of that. Other than funding, and the tax being augmented every so many years by up down vote of the people, not much is ever controversial.

Some one of you (phoenixRising? Churchmouse? Someone else?) posted this link yesterday or the day before and I saved it for later.
I finally read it, and I find I keep thinking about it. What is haunting me about this article is the author’s view of Q as a major disruption to our wicked, crooked, corrupted media.
In my head, it is kind of smushing together Wolf’s points about Q being a military intelligence psyop sort of a deal together with SD’s ongoing discussions about PDJT constructing a separate banking system that decouples Wall Street from Main Street. And add to that the odd sensation I have had for some years now of the “news” being a carefully constructed play created for the masses to explain things to us but occasionally Toto grabs the curtain and exposes Oz, and then the curtain goes back up and we go along quietly, pretending we believe it, and then the curtain slips again, over and over.
With that in mind, the theory of Q as a major media disruption force looks to me like a familiar move as if there were a familiar entity behind it (the creations of a separate banking system).
And it also seems like a solution to a problem that obviously PDJT has had his finger on from the jump (“Fake News”) and it is an issue that I have agonized over wondering how on earth we will ever fix it and restore a free press as watchdogs.
Anyway, that is the context for why I found this article so interesting.
*********
“A time like no other in history
Having applied all of my integrity, intellect and insight to researching the matter, my belief is that we are witnessing right now one of the greatest communications events in history. Indeed, it is arguably the singularly greatest. So, what is this event, and why does it deserves this extraordinary description? The answers are to be found in how the (Western) mass media has been trapped by the most exquisitely constructed double bind.
If I am correct (and many share my view), then it portends the imminent collapse of trust in all mass media services and social media platforms. That is because they are implicated in systemic, widespread and longstanding organised crime — that also encompasses much of our political and financial system. If this is unequivocally demonstrated to be so, then the public will unite in disgust at the media’s treacherous betrayal of its journalistic duties.
On the other hand, if I/we are wrong, then the power of social media and propaganda to create and inflate bubbles of insanity — trapping intelligent people of goodwill — greatly exceeds anything we dared to imagine. The information age will be darkened by having divided society, destroying a consensus reality.
That’s one heck of a story too! For our culture shall inevitably further atomise, as our bonds of shared values and mutual understanding break apart. So too may the constitutional boundaries — and consequent rule of law — that help to keep the peace.
The stakes could not be higher
I have previously written about the #QAnon phenomenon. My assertion is that Q is a military intelligence team in the Trump administration (itself part of a global positive “Alliance”). They are opening up a backchannel with the public, bypassing the compromised mass media, to reach the “anons” and “autists” who hang out on 8chan. There are good operational reasons for choosing this exotic social media platform.
A key purpose of the #QAnon operation is to facilitate a public “Great Awakening”. One of Q’s earliest posts states that “This will be considered the biggest ‘inside’ ‘approved’ dump in American history”. Q is delivering a “soft disclosure” of the end game of a “shadow war” that has been silently raging around us for years. The “drops” expose the present and past crimes and large-scale conspiracies of a transnational negative “Deep State Cabal”…..”

Jeff Flake is a real piece of …. work.
Hope his deeds catch up with him really soon.

Ugh!

Sylvia Avery

Can’t they use some parliamentary ju jitsu and cancel Jeff Flake (metaphorically of course) or muzzle him, or strip him of personhood or confine him to the cloakroom or SOMETHING? Surely there is a way he can be found out of order so that they can move on with the business at hand without him holding up the proceedings like a petulant child.
BTW, did anyone else read in the last few days that the Senate is considering reducing in size the Senate Judiciary Committee? And that would mean poor old Kamala Harris would lose her spot on the committee as she is the most junior member. Hardee har har!!!! I smiled SO BIG when I saw that. I really hope that happens.

He [Emmet Flood] didn’t want me to do it yet, because I can save it,” Trump said.
The president also pushed back on the notion that all the Justice Department documents should eventually be released for the sake of transparency.
“Some things maybe the public shouldn’t see because they are so bad,” Trump said, making clear it wasn’t damaging to him, but to others. “Maybe it’s better that the public not see what’s been going on with this country.”

andrew1979

my compromise would be a way for anyone that wants to can have a place to go and view it all. if you do not want to go see it and cannot handle the truth, so be it, but as a citizen i should be able to see the truth of the crimes against my country.
