POTUS can declassify. POTUS can reveal. POTUS can direct his AG to do many things, including investigate and prosecute. It’s the only way to really clean up our government – and POTUS knows this. So, while everyone is running watching the squirrels, the OTHER serious work of the DOJ (and priority of POTUS) goes on.

Technically…no.
The way years are numbered, the first one of the present era was 1. This is because at the time they did so, the concept of zero hadn’t been invented yet. (In fact, it would have been I (Roman numeral I) as the “Arabic” numbers hadn’t been invented yet either.)

It is spreading to other states. My son and I were talking about Hong Kong this morning, and we both believe that it may be the game-changer for American millennial politics. They are seeing how these young people are fighting mostly bare-handed for a way of life that they take for granted here. And the youth of Hong Kong are waving the American flag and singing OUR national anthem as they make their desperate bid for freedom.
Many powerful images are coming from it, and they all make American life look like a paradise. Which it is, but too many people have forgotten that, if they ever knew.
What we can do is share news of the struggle in Hong Kong with anyone who will listen. It is real, it is visceral, and it is an opening we can exploit.

Ground Report: I was in Nashville tonight to attend a party/political gathering of Trump supporters. PACKED! 2020 will be HUGE for President Trump here in TN! People were excited and looking forward to the election. Big difference between now and 2016? the entire TN GOP machine is 100% backing President Trump.
The delegates are all being so carefully selected and vetted – impressive. In some ways not as much fun as as the just in time delivery, shoe string, flying by the seat of our pants campaign in 2016 as this is smooth, professional, everyone wants in on it, not as much room for initiative and grassroots, etc., but definitely encouraging and less stressful!

The government’s economic reporting arm, the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), is releasing GDP performance by county for the first time ever on December 12th.
“BEA will estimate annual gross domestic product, or GDP, for the years 2001 through 2018 for more than 3,000 counties. The data will include contributions to GDP by 34 industries, such as manufacturing, retail trade, and health and social assistance.”
We will be able to quantify which areas are doing well vs areas that struggle. Very important information running into the 2020 election.I will keep my eyes open and let you know when the report gets disseminated.

Got a place to keep a barrel of water with cover? Generator for well? Must be some provision to help so this will not be a problem in the future – will check with my ‘super prepper’ friend – see what he says.
we discussed a “whole house” back up generator but those are propane I think. I’m so not comfortable with propane –our neighbor’s house blew up across the street when I was growing up–a gas leak. Luckily she was not home–but everything was gone…we have a small tank on the grill but I won’t go near it…
Our generator uses regular gasoline – would not trust propane, either – where there is a will – there is a way – but, I do not blame you for being suspicious – how far is the well from the house? Just thinking out loud here, pat – am no expert in these things – will see what my buddy suggests – God Bless You!!!

I get it…and thanks…we are figuring it out slowly–it used to be we lost power maybe–MAYBE once a year with a bad storm. This year since May? we lost power 6 times! the only thing that has happened in that time is the neighbor (and that sounds like he’s close, but he’s a mile away) built a new house…
we usually have plenty of water stored in bottles to drink–it’s finding places to store water to refill the toilets that’s the issue…

no, the well PUMP is electric–it will somehow need to be able to be connected to the generator and since all we have is a circuit breaker inside the garage for the well pump–that will somehow need to be connected to the generator somehow…
Posted a link that might help – we run extension cords from the generator to the fridge in the house – that’s all I know…
and we do that with the small generator we have (with our freezer). the problem is the well pump has not cord. it is wired directly to the circuit breaker box. no cord, no plug…
There must be a way – maybe – a heating element/strip or something – just thinking out loud here – oh – my brain hurts!!!

To direct wire the pump to the generator:
Remove the breaker from the panel….
Remove the black wire from the breaker itself…
remove the white and bare copper wires from the “Ground” bus…..
Connect a 3 wire plugin cord to those wires….:
black to black (Hot)
white to white (Common)
bare copper to green (Ground)
Alt:
Add length of 12/2 with ground “Romex” wire to reach the generator.
Use wirenuts or equivalent to attach wires together at the panel…
then put a 3 prong plug on the other end to connect to Generator.
(There are many youtube videos that explain electrical stuff)
Hope this helps.
it does…but I will trust the electrician to do that when we get the generator…I just don’t feel confident enough to trust ourselves with this…plumbing? no problem, my father-in-law was a master plumber and taught us some stuff…but neither one of us messes with electricity. but thanks!! everyone is so helpful!!!!
We have a small and a large generator. Both run on petrol. A small one is not heavy and can be kept handy for the well pump to be plugged into. A bigger one can run the necessary things in the house. With a teen pager this can be the topic of heated discussion.

We thought He was almost getting ready to pass on into the hands of the Lord.
He did Manage too say a few words to His Oldest Daughter, Whom resides in Denver, Co..
She told Him,,,, She was trying to geta flight out here today..
Thus; has givin Him the strength to go-on Alil longer..
His Daughter is Supposed to to catch a flight out here today It has to be ONE-WAY, as His Oldest Daughter is Blind also, & She is, “pardon the pun here”,, Blind as a Bat in the Literal sense..
(It’s a Genetic anomaly with-in that side of Angies Family)
Not only Night watch I got Day Watch also..
Because Angie CANNOT see the amounts of Medicines, needed to keep Dad Comphy..
So, I fill a couple Syringes, after MY Night Watch is over, then get up around 12 noon to Help Angie give medicine(s),
Give Dad a Sponge Bath, or what-ever needs to be done.
Or Meet with Hospice ..
Then off into town for Dinner, or Supplies.. Or what-ever else “errands” that are needed to be done….
To say, I’m just alil tired is a understatement.
Everyone here deserves a “update”..
Hospice” kinda let a Freudian Slip out yesterday.. Seems THEY are pressed for Room at the local Hospice, Which is “partly” the reason “WHY” they are letting Angie & I do the Home Health care, here at home.
(Besides the point, that’s What Dad wanted anyway).
Plus, the fact they are Short-Staffed in the “Tri-County” area(s).
The Nurse, Whom is the “Head-Honcho”, was here yesterday giving Angie & I Rave Reviews on how WE, as a team were doing..
As usually, by now they had to “remove” the Patient outta the home at this,,, Can I say “Stage”? In Palliative Care.
I’m going too say this as a *Side Bar*..
A lot of this, the Nurse said; Is due too the Opioid Crises that has “swept” the Country..
Nurse was pleasantly surprised that are keeping Detailed record(s) on What We are giving Dad & the amounts, down to the Milligram.. Times & Date.. Which is a GOOD Thing, It covers Hospices arse.. Yet also gives them a “Good Idea” on HOW MUCH to dispense to Dad..
She did go on to relay a few short Horror Stories (with-out naming anyone)..
Un-scrupulous “Family members” that, I need not go any further..
As We are handling & administering some “Heavy Duty Pain & sedative’s” Drugs to Dad..
We are doing a terrific Job She said, (Making Her Job easier & CYA)..

yesterday we got dumped on–over a foot of snow and we lost power for a large part of the day. But here’s the odd part…last year–around the exact same time (a week’s difference to be precise) we had A SIMILAR storm dump 12-15 inches of snow at our place. what are the odds of 2 major snow storms hitting the same area in fall? Previous years we wouldn’t have snow till Christmas week.

We’ve only had one minor snow, and I’m already dreaming of spring as well. For some reason the cold is hitting hard this year. Of course, it could just be this bronchial thing my mother brought home that won’t leave. It needs to go. I have a lot to do in the next three weeks.
I imagine being a singer, you need to be really vigilant about colds, and bugs…hope you make thru the season with smooth sailing!!
Yep. Fortunately, this is just a drip with a corresponding cough, no congestion or swelling in the larynx. BUT, Sunday morning, before I was good and warmed up, I’d take a breath to sing and it triggered the cough. I’m hoping rest this week will take care of that since rehearsals for just about everything start with intensity on Saturday, and I have to deck the halls next week. And clean the house, although, just the living room for now.

DPat, This might sound odd, but whenever I have any kind of sinus, nasal, throat, or bronchial trouble, I do a nightly regimen of Debrox ear drops. People think they are just for clearing ear wax or swimmer’s ear, but they really lubricate all those inner-connected ear/nasal tubes from a different direction (if that makes sense).
For me, that lubrication is as important as saline cleansing in my nose.

Do not forget the ZINC (and vitamin C) I keep getting a scratchy throat/slight ear ache and immediately take a Z-Cam. So far I have been able to fight off what ever the heck it is.
Good day PatF! I am sorry to hear of your power outage, I too when lived at home had the same issues. When the power went out the well pump would not work. As to toilet flushing: Mom would have us fill the bathtubs with water before the power went out, then we would use ice cream pails to fill the tank or direct dump into the bowl to flush. We had propane for stove, so that helped with cooking and heating! Yes, melting snow was an option then boil for consumption or dump into tubs for flushing or washing use.
As to generator hook-up our research shows this to be a viable option for generator hook up.

Anthony is doing well, less than a month away from having one year complete! Kal is on a down swing again after recovering from the chemo that was giving him metal poisoning. He took 2.5 months off of chemo to recover.Then started new chemo, supposedly without metals in it, and titrated up to full dosing. At half dosing he seemed to be fine, but at full dosing he started getting ill again. So, we will see what the doctor says on December 6th appointment. She initially was fine with him taking doses he could tolerate, with the caveat that she preferred the whole strength dosing, so we will see what she says about him staying at the lower levels.
I am okay, started taking a natural pain relief supplement of willow bark and cherry extract plus tumeric combined with black pepper and my arthritis and fibro pains seem to be less. School paper ended up with a great grade, now onto Business Math Applications. Thanks for asking.

I agree. Nothing makes this acceptable. Pelosi essentially set up her own judiciary and law enforcement entity in the Dem run Congress.
Investigation of crimes or issues is to be done by the Executive Branch – the DOJ – I don’t know how this wasn’t illegal, and Schiffty and company indicted. It’s one thing to hold hearings, another to spy on your colleagues under the guise of an inquiry. DOJ should get involved. Schiffty has to be breaking the law, and hiding behind his Congressional protections to get away with this. Similar to Obama using law enforcement to spy on his perceived enemies, including using the IRS to harm conservatives.

Records were provided by AT&T.
Dems are joyful, they think that Devin Nunes is “caught”, should resign, and it is trending on Twitter.
I was horrified, because Schiff is investigating his Minority member and personal atty’s of the President + journalists.

Remember this: Your “right” is meaningless, if you don’t know it is being violated by the government.
Schiff has the authority to issue subpoenas. It is Schiff’s responsibility to comply with LEGAL procedure and he MUST notify the party from/about whom the information is being sought. In other words, it was Schiff’s responsibility to notify Nunes/Harvey/Giuliani/Sekulow/Solomon (one or all of them) of what he was doing.
At that point, the party (Nunes, one or all) could go to a judge to protest the subpoena and seek to ‘squash’ it.
Nunes (one or all) could claim right to privacy, right against self-incrimination, proper cause, anything……
And understand, even if Nunes (one or all of them) murdered a Ukrainian oligarch, the rules are the same.
It’s pretty obvious, Schiff did NOT notify Nunes (one or all of them) he was issuing a subpoena for phone records.
It would be impossible to imagine Nunes, Giuliani, Sekolow, and guys like that intentionally allowing Schiff to dig through their records…….. no, would not happen.
Therefore, what Schiff did was illegal. From Big T “Otherwise, we live in a third world country”.
Me, still confused: Well, what if Schiff requested the docs in secret?

There is confusion and question of fact as to whether the Chair of Intel Committee would even need to go to a judge to seek a secret subpoena. He may have more broad authority granted to him.
But questionable……… because that would give a member of the legislature authority over the judiciary, and we both doubt that would happen.
