3rd Sunday of Advent ~ Joy
Joy should be a characteristic that permeates through all facets of a Christian’s life: every day, in troubles and trials, in hope, in giving, in prayer, in praise, in worship, in thanksgiving . . . in everything . . . for the joy of the Lord is our strength.
During this Advent season, we look to the past to recognize and celebrate the effects of Christ’s 1st coming, and we look to the future in anticipation and a peaceful assurance of what Christ’s 2nd coming will bring.
The 3rd Sunday of Advent . . . Gaudete Sunday . . . Joyful Sunday. The Christmas season is well upon us. Christmas trees, lights, carols, and soon will come presents, friends, family, food . . . the most wonderful time of the year!
As we should do during Advent, on this Joyful Sunday, we look back: Joy . . . should be an easy topic with all the joy surrounding the birth of Jesus.
Mary rejoiced in God her Savior. An angel of the Lord brought good tidings of great joy to the shepherds and to all people. All those who heard, marveled at what the shepherds told them. The shepherds joyfully returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen. Simeon got to see the Messiah. The promised Messiah had come to Israel.
But there is some joy, looking back, that is more difficult, if not impossible, for us to truly grasp. Jesus wasn’t born just so He could walk around the countryside healing people and telling people they needed to get right with God. He came to die, to be the perfect sacrifice to reconcile our inherent sin nature and our sins with the righteousness of God.
And not just to die. He knew He would be flogged beyond recognition, nearly to the point of death, before they pounded the metal spikes into Him. His bones would be out of joint. He knew He would die by the most painful and torturous method of execution ever devised. He knew He would become sin.
The night before, Jesus’ anguish was so great that the blood capillaries surrounding His sweat glands ruptured and His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
We have now gone far from our topic of joy. But what would make Jesus go through this for us?
The answer to that is His love for us, agape love . . . love that puts our best interests ahead of His own welfare. Love? Not joy? Well, here it is. “Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame”.
And what was the joy that was given Him? God gave Jesus authority, that He shall give eternal life to as many as God has given Him. Jesus’ joy, greater than the physical agony of crucifixion and being forsaken by God, since Jesus had become sin, was the joy that came from being the means through which believing mankind would be reconciled to God and given eternal life to know God, the only true God, and Jesus, our Messiah.
Most of the time we fail at discovering joy in some difficult present circumstances. And that’s because we’re looking at what we consider troubles and trials from our earthly perspective, and we overlook how these troubles and trials can and do result in changes to our Christian life . . . which is God’s perspective.
“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.”
Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
As part of Advent, we look forward to find joy. And again, we find joy, but, again, a joy that we can’t entirely fathom. For “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” “In Your presence is fullness of joy; in Your right hand there are pleasures forever.”
Although we don’t know the details of the things that God has prepared for us, we do know they will be wonderful, undoubtedly beyond our present capacity to comprehend, but will bring us to levels of peace and joy that we have never experienced or imagined.

The CIA and the Gambino family are not unrelated. It is my contention that they have provided muscle and logistics for MK-based assassinations in the United States on behalf of the CIA. My guess is that just about everything VSGPDJT activated on the orb and more was all on the drawing board for YEARS, decades, maybe, and he just signed the paperwork to activate it. Happens all the time with government stuff. The president of record gets the credit, but the plan was in place long before. Happened with the interstate highway system – and is still happening with some aspects of it – happens with military aircraft which take decades to develop, test and get into the fleet, happens with legislation that gets snuck into being following false flag attacks, and more.

I tend to believe that the larger plan which led to Q actually launched under Eisenhower – possibly in part based on Truman’s regrets about the CIA.
It’s clearly all one big stream. Sessions mentioned investigations in March, 2018 – which took folks by surprise, and Huber’s name got out there, but I suspected much more was going on – the investigative need was so great and widespread, it would require more than one person to be working at the highest levels. IMO.

So many were writing off Sessions that he was able to accomplish much flying under the radar.
This is a major point. So many people take what they see at face value, and I understand; we have to evaluate things based on the data we have. But so many do not recognize that, when it comes to the inner workings of government — and especially in the Trump administration — we know very little of what goes on behind the scenes and what the strategic plans are for the chess pieces that have been put in place and that come and go. I’m not saying that Pres. Trump and his team are perfect in every appointment and decision, but that we don’t know everything.
So on other sites there are endless comments about Sessions, Wray, Graham, and others. And yes, some of what they do/have done might be counterproductive to our goals; but just maybe we don’t have the whole picture. Those who follow Q and watch and learn from Pres. Trump understand this. Those who rely solely on their own observations, with some input from the media, will never get it.

A couple of things I remember:
1. If House votes next week on Articles of Impeachment, Articles won’t go to the Senate until January.
2. Lindsey assured Sen Grassley he would step down as Chair of Sen Judiciary Committee in January when Congress ends its recess. (So Sen Grassley will be Chair when Rudy testifies about The Ukraine)
3. Ms. Lindsey and his late side-kick were involved in The Ukraine scandals/crimes. As were the sons of Romney, Kerry and Pelosi, in addition of course to Hunter Biden. (Sen Lindsey and Sen Romney better NOT back stab POTUS in Senate trial, right?)
4. There’s more dots, I can’t seem to remember them. (some of you can I am sure.)
ohh #5 … POTUS almost has to have this go to trial in the Senate. DIMs must be totally destroyed. This cannot happen to another president.

I think it’s political. People need to look good if their faces are going to be on big media screens. They need to appear younger, they believe, to gain voters. The trouble is that it is very rare for this type of work to result in a natural-looking outcome. IMO, some people look freakish. I must confess my comment about financial difficulties comes from two Hallmark franchise owners I know, and not reading their official documents. One of the complaints from shop owners is that you can now buy Hallmark cards outside a Hallmark store, giving no protection to the individual owners but demanding high inventory and other requirements to be a Hallmark dealer.
And, I agree the pressure in advertising and TV shows to push the “alternative lifestyle” is enormous.
Some Hallmark Stores may be struggling…but the Hallmark Channels are doing rather well.
I saw a blurb a few months ago about their ratings.
Their ratings have been great…the envy of other cable channels.
The first Hallmark Channel did so well, that they now have three!
I’ve noticed that the commercials on all three channels have gone from obscure Ronco-matic type ads…to major corporate ads now.
Hallmark Channels are now showing GM truck ads as well as other major names.
I’m going to do a wait-and-see on this.
