I got a dog. Female foxhound. Looks like a lemon beagle color, tan spotty ears and mostly white body with a black/pink spotty nose. Shes very sweet. Trained to hunt coyote but just wants to be inside. Shes got a nice bed and blanket and does not want to go outside unless she needs to. Almost all muscle, unlike beagles! She doesnt even know what to do with treats. Wont eat a greenie or jerky strip. I got gummy probiotics and omegas but she wont eat them. Hiding them in peanut butter helped. She has to come out of her shell quite a bit. No bark or howl yet. Curious to hear it.

I took her on a walk to the creek but all the people there had messed up the scents. If we get any rain this week she’ll find new trails.

My beagle is pretty quite. She just looks at the deer and doesn’t even bark! No rabbits so who knows.
Frosty. Makes sense esp since she’s so white. Shes prob 55 lbs and tries to get in my lap. Im the feeder so im her favorite atm. She and the ducks were in the yard at the same time and didnt chase them. I have to spay and get her teeth cleaned by the vet but otherwise shes healthy.

I have two dog beds and a crate but the bed is the best.
My puppy knows that she can sleep on the bed at night so she makes herself into a little ball. I don’t notice her at all.
When we had our first beagle pup, she would pee on mr gils side then come snuggle with me, even if i took her out first.
She walks well on a leash, no tugging. She does get skittish with kiddo walking back and forth. Mr Gil took them on a walk in the afternoon and kiddo scared her so that mr gil dropped the leash and she started trotting off. Luckily shes trained off leash bc she came back. I took her in the am alone and had no issues. Learning curve…

My beagle likes to potty in the bathtub. I guess no issue of rain or snow. Who wants that. I did not teach her that its just something that she did on her own. 🙂 But she had a great time helping me outside today. She’s taking a nap at the moment. So cute.

Very close to the one with its head under. She’s got a quarter size tan circle between her ears like a Hindu dot, lol. Her nose is very spotty and pink on the muzzle top.

President Trump promised a cure for aids in a very short time. I think this is how he will get it done.
Dr. Fauci was involved in the aids epidemic since 1981 and also involved with Malaria. Fauci knew the cure IMO. President Trump named the Malaria medicine as a “possible” cure for COVID 19 and outed Fauci. IMO it will be found to work for aids also. Trump Overrules Chuck and Nancy, Issues Signing Statement Asserting Power To Ignore Their Oversight
President Trump issued a singing statement last night to the massive stimulus bill and Chuck and Nancy are furious.
Those two were publicly bragging about how they were able to put strict oversight provisions into the stimulus bill to any cable network who would have them.
Turns out they spoke too soon as in his signing statement Trump flatly rejects their oversight authority.
Signing statements are not law but inform how the executive branch will interpret the law and it looks like Trump will claim executive power and simply ignore Chuck and Nancy.
The signing statement reads:
“Today, I have signed into law H.R. 748, the “Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act” or the “CARES” Act (the “Act”). The Act makes emergency supplemental appropriations and other changes to law to help the Nation respond to the coronavirus outbreak. I note, however, that the Act includes several provisions that raise constitutional concerns.
Section 15010(c)(3)(B) of Division B of the Act purports to require the Chairperson of the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency to consult with members of the Congress regarding the selection of the Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director for the newly formed Pandemic Response Accountability Committee. The Committee is an executive branch entity charged with conducting and coordinating oversight of the Federal Government’s response to the coronavirus outbreak.
I anticipate that the Chairperson will be able to consult with members of the Congress with respect to these hiring decisions and will welcome their input.
But a requirement to consult with the Congress regarding executive decision-making, including with respect to the President’s Article II authority to oversee executive branch operations, violates the separation of powers by intruding upon the President’s power and duty to supervise the staffing of the executive branch under Article II, section 1 (vesting the President with the “executive Power”) and Article II, section 3 (instructing the President to “take Care” that the laws are faithfully executed). Accordingly, my Administration will treat this provision as hortatory but not mandatory.
Section 4018 of Division A of the Act establishes a new Special Inspector General for Pandemic Recovery (SIGPR) within the Department of the Treasury to manage audits and investigations of loans and investments made by the Secretary of the Treasury under the Act. Section 4018(e)(4)(B) of the Act authorizes the SIGPR to request information from other government agencies and requires the SIGPR to report to the Congress “without delay” any refusal of such a request that “in the judgment of the Special Inspector General” is unreasonable.
I do not understand, and my Administration will not treat, this provision as permitting the SIGPR to issue reports to the Congress without the presidential supervision required by the Take Care Clause, Article II, section 3.
Certain other provisions (such as sections 20001, 21007, and 21010 of Division B of the Act) purport to condition the authority of officers to spend or reallocate funds upon consultation with, or the approval of, one or more congressional committees.
These provisions are impermissible forms of congressional aggrandizement with respect to the execution of the laws.
The Congress may affect the execution of the laws only by enacting a new statute in accordance with the requirements of bicameralism and presentment prescribed in Article I, section 7.
My Administration will make appropriate efforts to notify the relevant committees before taking the specified actions and will accord the recommendations of such committees all appropriate and serious consideration, but it will not treat spending decisions as dependent on prior consultation with or the approval of congressional committees.
Finally, several provisions (such as sections 3511(d)(4) and 3862 (creating section 744N(d)(1) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act) of Division A of the Act) purport to require recommendations regarding legislation to the Congress.
Because Article II, section 3 gives the President the authority to recommend only “such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient,” my Administration will continue the practice of treating provisions like these as advisory and non-binding.”

(Kind of funny, my Mum, RIP, in her late 90s was in a managed-care facility, and they were giving her the occasional “old-timer’s disease” [as she put it] test. While checking her grasp on dates, numbers, spatial coordination, etc., they asked “Oh, what a wonderful English accent you have…. Have you ever met Queen Elizabeth”… “Yes”, she replied, with her still-present rapier wit, “both of them”…
Of course that would mean she was a few hundred years old… Sad to say, she had to explain the joke to them… (so much for the American world history classes)… )…
Here’s a bit I commented on at “The Other Plaice” a while back. A great bit of history about the background of the current royals [and that Mary was from not far from here]. Also some great Vaughn-Willians music; seems to evoke the English countryside at every turn. There are more vids in this series, well worth watching.
I have to say, the video is very well done, and the music is, for a musician of English descent, incomparable. The harmonies, colors, voice-leading, development of themes, and layers of (instrumental) voices and sounds is both memorable and moving.
In addition to that, it fits the pictures an captions perfectly. The music of one of the greatest English composers (using English folk song as a base) combined with a history of the recent English royal family and their trials and tribulations (they had problems, too)…. And the pictures: a poignant window into a time gone by………

I try not to post when my emotions are running sky high…especially when I am mad.
I managed to hold off when I first read that Sundance was banned on Twitter and suddenly became a proponent of allowing free speech on internet forums.
I have waited for his extended olive branch and mea culpa to Wolf, but somehow I haven’t yet seen it….? So, forewarning: this might be a (or even, hopefully ill informed…maybe he has reached out?) grumpy comment.
Wolf gave us shelter at a very difficult time, a time when we all needed a place to connect and work together for MAGA. My appreciation for that and for the wealth of information shared here is difficult to express, but heartfelt and vast. We are all so much better off because we were allowed to come together and given a chance to communicate with one another.
When I think of the richness of information we have all benefited from through the Q drops, the sense of fun and empowerment we gained through searching for and sharing information we would not have thought to look for without those drops, the so badly needed encouragement, and the shared feeling of being part of something united in safeguarding the common good….it is difficult for me to find an excuse for SD banning so many people and shutting down any discussion of Q.
Because the cause of MAGA is so great, and the need for a powerful and united force of support for the President making itself heard is so vital, I continue to hope that we can all come together to support the President. as Q and THE PRESIDENT, have asked.
I hope that SD will reconsider banning people for speech that, in spite of being Deplorable, reflects a visit to a site he disapproves of and which also is highly supportive of the President.
SD political analysis is often insightful and illuminating, but also has been wrong or unnecessarily negative on occasion.
Point being…he is not perfect, just as he is convinced our our political leaders like AG Barr and Leader McConnell are not perfect, and we are not perfect. Yet WWG1WGA.
Because, if the President is not re-elected, I am very much convinced that even the present miserable Chinese plague will become a fond memory of much more pleasant days gone by.

several years back, the wife and I had to cut a vacation short and evacuate the outer banks as a hurricane was headed up the coast . As we were headed to Md anyway, so at Norfolk we decided to take the
Chesapeake Bay bridge tunnel route to Md eastern shore.
The timing put us at the south tunnel entrance, and the roadway elevation put us at eye level with the angry bay before dropping down into the tunnel .. and just as we lined up to enter , an Aircraft carrier was steaming through and out to sea.
We drove down and under the carrier @ 50 mph into the tunnel. The Bay waters were extremely angry the big ship quickly plowing it’s way thru.. overhead.. a little eerie..
The water- bridge/tunnel structure with a moving aircraft carrier at eye level, in a pick-up truck @50mph in traffic was almost sensory overload.. but waay cool !!
I will NEVER forget that ride. My eyes were as big as pie pans.
We crossed Both Bay bridges that afternoon .

So since I got the dog, calling around to vets for teeth cleaning, no veterinarian is doing any surgery except emergencies bc of covid. One vet I called said they arent even seeing patients because the cdc guidelines tell them they cant.
I cant even get care for my dog!
Theres a shot clinic next week if theyre open then at a local feed store but she needs dental care with anesthesia. Im not sure why products made for pets are designated as unable to be done per cdc? I didnt know they controlled Veterinarians and animal care.
I understand some vet care, including dental, might be seen as “elective” but animals need care so I’d think that vet practices should be open. Two weeks ago, ours was, but don’t know right now.
So the way im looking at the long term, all healthcare, home maintenance, cleaning, tard yard work, pet care is being cancelled for 1 potential virus. What about the other viruses and illnesses and pest control that lead to determined actual damage and illness?

My hairdresser was stressed when they were going to close for two weeks (under their own violation) – then Northam made it a month, and now he’s really going to cause misery if this stands. Gil – even people dentists, vision centers, etc. have closed except for emergencies. They have been requested to send their protective masks and supplies to the medical centers. I understand your frustration, but think of where those supplies are most needed right now. There is a bigger picture than each of us ❤️

gil00 I am in OH and my dogs vet took him last week to treat him for an ear infection. They came to the car picket up the dog and treated him. Tomorrow he is to be seen by the vet again and as before one calls in to the vet that one is in the parking lot and the assistant comes out with a mask and pick up the dog.
The do the same in Michigan my son told me. I am sure emergency they would take the dog but not routine work?

Gil ~ There are a lot of Dog Dental Chews, Chew Bones and Plaque Removal products out there.
These work pretty good…and are a way to clean up your dog’s teeth, until you can get her in for a cleaning at a vet.

I suppose a LOT depends on what “pre-morbidity” means. If it means the patient was going to die in another month or so anyway, or that the person tested positive for COVID but showed no symptoms then up and died…that’s one thing.
But if someone is listed as “morbidly obese” and is NOT in the hospital dying-right-now until COVID put him there, then COVID should get the blame and it shouldn’t be pawned off on his morbid obesity. People can live for years if all they are is “morbidly obese.”
They are MOAR vulnerable to grave complications in pregnancy, surgery (fat pulls the wounds open and wounds in fat people also heal more slowly) and evidently in the event they are infected with this coronavirus. Whether it’s due to blood sugar or breathing, I don’t know.
Those tweets came from a stream filled with tweets from different countries, for some of those replying English is a 2nd language… they may have meant co-morbidity. Fact (not rumor) is some deaths are being attributed to Covid-19 when the deceased actually died of kidney failure…ultimately it all comes down to a lack of oxygen, right? There is a reason doctors call it “co-morbidity” … Most elderly have health issues of some kind, which is what puts them at such risk from an upper respiratory problem of any kind… exclusive of Chinese Crud. In the past my GP (of some 30 years) would give me a z-pak if I got a bad cold (another corona virus, right?) because I cannot have it develop into pneumonia as I probably would not survive, having had it 4/5 times in my life span.
The common cold is usually attributed to a rhinovirus (no relation to Mitt Romney). Totally different family (picornaviridae) than the corona virus (coronaviridae), and influenza is in yet a third family (orthomyxoviridae).
I’ve heard people assert that coronavirus is a flu virus; it’s not. And somehow the fake news that the common cold is a corona virus has gotten around too.
