Dear KAG: 20200908 Open Thread

Like FG&C’s meme below reminds us, guys with hand saws DID take down whole forests very quickly. Just one cut at the bottom, on each tree, and they’re DOWN!!! They changed America that way!
But yeah, kinda scary that we DO have that power. But my feeling is that if we dedicate lots of land for forestry, and manage it smartly, growing trees and harvesting them, we keep the planet in a good state.
I’m also going to seed a very important idea now. I’ve held onto this for about 50 years, in part because I was watching humanity move AWAY from sensible answers, and instead concentrate on the WRONG THINGS. That disturbed me. Back in the ’70s, when the Soviets started to derail American science, and particularly about Energy, I expected this viewpoint to grow – AND IT DID NOT. Something was wrong – so I used what I knew as a reference point for a “wheat-chaff sorter”, to observe the “sabotage” and try to understand it. But when I saw that Trump is now doing the RIGHT THINGS, based on this idea, that tells me that he is now getting good advice from somewhere, and I can feel more free to reveal this stuff.
The BAD GUYS (as broadly as you want to take that) have played a game of reverso on us, by making us concentrate on CARBON DIOXIDE. This is a way of misleading us. It is a highly incomplete way of viewing life on a planet. It leads one away from the ideas that preserve life on Earth through all conditions – even great catastrophes.
That is very intentional. They want to control us – maybe even keep us “expendable” – by keeping us stupid, and they do that by keeping us locked into a faulty perspective. This is also why they seed wrong ideas about other aspects of “life on other planets”. I won’t get into those ideas now – but I want to concentrate on one very specific idea about viewing life on THIS planet.
The “keystone chemical” to watch on this planet is OXYGEN – meaning O2 – *NOT* carbon dioxide – meaning CO2. Oxygen is what enables life to spread broadly and diversify. It is foundational to ecology itself. Once you see that, all kinds of great stuff starts falling out. Mathematical solutions that aren’t a bunch of “jimmy and jigger and get whatever you want to mislead people” fall out of something which has a definite source and a well-understood balance. Oxygen leads – it’s the INVESTMENT of life.
Carbon dioxide is molecular disinformation.
Even though the value of it (20.95%) doesn’t change easily, from a rather large 1/5 of the atmosphere, it is the REAL CURRENCY of life on Earth. Carbon dioxide is the CHUMP CHANGE.
The focus on carbon dioxide by linking it to global warming was not only designed to mess up our views of energy and other aspects of civilization – it was designed to create an ALINSKY FEAR, and then that fear would become a virtue, but it’s the WRONG FEAR.
The fear should be this: How do we make sure that OXYGEN and what produces it are always present and healthy, millions of years into the future? Can we AVOID or at least SURVIVE the next ice age? THAT is more important than carbon dioxide, a phony and weak concern which messes up our long-term perception.
The PERCEPTION is key.
Global greening is good. Global warming was antisense in a time of solar cooling. Good try, evil ones.
Trump has his priorities straight. Clean air, clean water, lots of trees, oceans full of LIFE. Respect for LIFE and the LIVES OF PEOPLE which will in turn back-regulate population without evil depopulationist strategies. Japan achieved ZPG without draconian measures, and they don’t need to import a bunch of over-populating Muslims to mess that up. What can we learn from THEM? Maybe STRICT BORDERS?
Looks like SOMEBODY was paying attention.
Anyway, the paradigm shift is OXYGEN THINKING. And I’ll talk more about it in the future.
