Dear KMAG: 20210222 Joe Biden Didn’t Win ❀ Daily Open Thread

Joe Biden didn’t win. This is our Real President:

This Stormwatch Monday Open Thread is VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA/KAG/KMAG world (with KMAG being a bit of both).

Yes, it’s Monday…again.

But it’s okay! We’ll get through it.

Free Speech is practiced here at the Q Tree. But please keep it civil. We’re on the same side here so let’s not engage in friendly fire.

Please also consider the Important Guidelines, outlined here. Let’s not give the odious Internet Censors a reason to shut down this precious haven that Wolf has created for us.

Please pray for our real President, the one who actually won the election:

For your listening enjoyment, I offer this composition from Tony Anderson, titled “Eternal Spring”:

On a lighter note, a mashup of The Wellerman Song:

Our beloved country is under Occupation by hostile forces.

We can give in to despair…or we can be defiant and fight back in any way that we can.

Joe Biden didn’t win.

I will keep saying Joe Biden didn’t win until we get His Fraudulency out of our White House.

Wheatie’s Words of the Day:

So long

Did you ever wonder where the farewell phrase, “so long”, came from? It is kind of an odd way to say goodbye, if you think about it.

Apparently, no one knows for sure where it came from.  Its earliest use dates back to the early 1800s. There are several theories about its origin.

One theory is that British soldiers imported the Malayan salutation, Salang. Another theory is that it came from the German parting salutation adieu so lange…but I tend to like the theory that it came from the Gaelic/Irish word for goodbye, Slán.

Used in a sentence:

I am looking forward to telling His Fraudulency “so long”, when we kick him and Team Fraud out of our White House.

Will Warren Buffett Really Make Billions Off the Keystone Pipeline’s Demise? It’s Complicated
Moving crude by rail is costly, inefficient, and dangerous compared to oil pipelines. It’s also incredibly lucrative.
Saturday, February 20, 2021

https://fee.org/articles/will-warren-buffett-really-make-billions-off-the-keystone-pipeline-s-demise-it-s-complicated/

Recently there was a meme going around claiming that President Joe Biden spiked construction of the Keystone XL pipeline on his first day because of political donations from Warren Buffett, the billionaire investor who runs the multinational conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway.

. . . The meme contains information that is demonstrably false. Nevertheless, it was shared enough that it captured the attention of Reuters, who fact-checked the meme. . . Public records show Buffett didn’t donate to any political campaign in 2020, let alone a $58 million sum, and a spokeswoman for Buffett confirmed this.

. . . Unfortunately, from here Reuters fact check goes off the rails.

. . . Reuters spends a lot of time attempting to refute a central claim of the meme: that Buffett “would lose billions in transport fees” if the Keystone pipeline is completed.

As Reuters admits, Berkshire Hathaway does in fact own one of the largest railroad networks in North America: the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corp, which runs 32,500 route miles crossing 28 states and several Canadian provinces. The news agency also admits trains on the BNSF carry lots of energy (especially oil and coal).

However, Reuters argues that Berkshire Hathaway does not stand to benefit from the demise of the Keystone XL. . . Reuters’ claims don’t add up, and the news agency omits relevant facts about Buffett’s rail operation.

. . . In just a few short years BNSF had become Berkshire Hathaway’s “single biggest profit driver,” Business Insider reported.

How did it happen? Oil transport had a lot to do with, Investment News reported in 2015.

“Buoyed by an onshore oil boom, Burlington Northern Sante Fe has become a cash machine for Mr. Buffett,” the news outlet reported. “The railroad had sent more than $15 billion in dividends to Berkshire through Sept. 30, according to quarterly regulatory filings. More stunning: The business is on pace to return all the cash Mr. Buffett spent taking it private by the end of this year.”

None of these facts made it into Reuters’ “fact check.”

Nor did the article discuss the adverse impact of shipping oil by rail. Those exploding oil trains are more common than people realize (see them in pictures), and the human and environmental costs are real and exceed the costs of moving oil by pipeline.

“The horrible truth … is train transport is far more dangerous,” energy writer Brian Westenhaus has pointed out.

As just one example, forty-two people were confirmed dead in the 2013 Quebec train disaster, and several more are presumed dead.

“No pipeline failure has ever come close to this level of human death and suffering,” Westenhaus points out.

The US State Department confirms that rail is a more dangerous way to transport oil compared to pipelines.

The environmental impact of rail is also worse. Research shows the spill rate for hazardous material transported by rail is 33 times higher than pipelines. Scholars at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh also found that locomotive transport causes twice as much pollution as pipelines.

. . . Why would anyone spike an oil pipeline capable of transporting more than 300 million barrels of crude a year when moving oil by pipeline is cheaper, safer, and more environmentally friendly than moving it by rail?

Reuters never asks this question, though it concedes moving oil by rail is less efficient. (There are also benefits to moving oil by rail, of course, especially over short distances.) But one reason, perhaps, is that the pipeline was spiked because of its low cost and efficiency.

It’s been observed that in modern America there are two primary types of entrepreneurs: market entrepreneurs and political entrepreneurs.

“A pure market entrepreneur, or capitalist, succeeds financially by selling a newer, better, or less expensive product on the free market without any government subsidies, ” writes economist Thomas DiLorenzo.

Essentially, market entrepreneurs create value for society by serving the wants and needs of consumers. A political entrepreneur, on the other hand, “succeeds primarily by influencing government to subsidize his business or industry, or to enact legislation or regulation that harms his competitors.”

David Harsanyi: Nobody Better Exemplifies the Problem of Failed Journalism Than the Self-Anointed Fact-Checkers

https://www.westernjournal.com/david-harsanyi-nobody-better-exemplifies-problem-failed-journalism-self-anointed-fact-checkers/

Appearing at a friendly CNN town hall event this week, President Joe Biden dropped a string of untruths on issues both large and small.

One of the president’s most egregious falsehoods was the claim that “we didn’t have [the vaccine] when we came into office.” The first shot was administered back on Dec. 14.

Glenn Kessler, lead fact-checker for The Washington Post, quickly jumped into action on Twitter, explaining that this was merely a “verbal stumble, a typical Biden gaffe, as he had already mentioned 50 million doses being available when he took office. Former Trump officials should especially cool the outrage meter, as it just looks silly.”

Castigating those who pointed out the lie is a weird thing for someone charged with verifying factual information to do.

It was a strange coincidence, indeed, that Biden’s “verbal stumble” corresponded perfectly with the concerted administration-wide effort to mislead Americans regarding the president’s new vaccination plan.

. . . It is odd, as well, that a fact-checker would contend that Biden must have had a “verbal stumble” because he had previously admitted the truth on the issue. For one thing, it seems unlikely this was the standard used for Donald Trump. . .

. . . Perhaps the most mendacious “fact-checker” is CNN’s Daniel Dale, who produces prodigious amounts of disingenuous partisan clickbait. Yesterday, Dale also bored into the soul of Biden to discern exactly what the president “meant,” which, it conveniently turned out, was the opposite of what he said.

Then again, Dale noted back in September that Biden “makes some false and misleading claims” but “assertions of fact have been largely factual.” Tautology aside, a quick fact check of this claim earns a gaggle of Pinocchios.

. . . The fact is — if you’ll pardon the expression — this kind of partisan gruel would never have existed in a reputable newsroom 30 or 20 years ago. Yet, it thrives in an age in which the number of Twitter followers and hits are valued over fact-gathering.

. . . It’s not only that the fact-checkers are objectionable but also that the idea of fact-checking is un-journalistic. There is something more insidious about fact checks than the average hackery.

. . . One might be able to look past the five-year abandonment of journalistic ethics and professionalism if reporters and fact-checkers were equal-opportunity sticklers. The problem wasn’t the adversarial relationship journalists had with those in power — though the self-aggrandizement and navel-gazing were insufferable. It’s the selective deployment of these ethics as now displayed with a different administration.

And no one exemplifies the problem better than the self-anointed fact-checkers.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Very well-said!!!

grandmaintexas

I’m just concerned that at some point the tit-for-tat regarding who had the vaccine first is going to morph into “Who the hell thought it was a good idea to test the experimental shot on unsuspecting people?”

You could put the blame on one administration as easily as the other.

Deplorable Patriot

Actually, I don’t know that pin the blame is going to be that much of a concern. It’s going to red pill a lot of people, IMO.

I hope so.

New Plans for a Chinese Wind Farm in TexasBY IER
SEPTEMBER 10, 2020 [NOTE THE DATE]

https://www.instituteforenergyresearch.org/the-grid/new-plans-for-a-chinese-wind-farm-in-texas/

A Chinese company is planning to build a wind farm on 130,000 acres near Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, Texas. The builder is Houston-based GH America Energy—a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chinese Guanghua industry investment group. Its CEO, a member of the Communist Party and a former member of the Chinese military, purchased the property in 2015. The project, however, has many officials in the United States concerned about the security of the U.S. power grid and the proximity of the farm to U.S. Government facilities.

Besides the nearby Air Force base, San Antonio is home to an NSA facility, a cyber command, and a number of universities that work with the federal government on intelligence matters. Not long ago, President Trump closed the Chinese consulate in Houston because of possible espionage involving U.S. universities and their research. The Chinese were trying to steal information on our response and tests for identifying COVID-19. According to Texas Congressman Will Hurd, the Chinese wind farm is currently going through a national security review process that involves the FBI and the Department of Energy.

Besides the national security issue, there is also an issue about reciprocity since China would probably not let a former U.S. military officer build a wind farm in China near government facilities and allow it to be tied into its electric grid.

Besides wanting to build a wind farm on U.S. soil, China has also become the world’s leading supplier of transformers, which also presents significant challenges to U.S. grid security. On May 1, President Trump issued an Executive Order on protecting the bulk-power grid. For economic and security reasons, he stated that the United States should no longer purchase transformers and other electric grid equipment manufactured in China. He signaled that it is important to end relationships that U.S. utilities have directly with Chinese businesses and multi-national companies manufacturing transformers in China, which are later plugged into the electric grid in the United States.

grandmaintexas

Criminal. Letting a communist nation take over our energy production on our own soil is treasonous. We need to start calling it by the right name.

Live Not by Lies of the U.S. Clean Energy Initiatives
https://www.wadeburleson.org/2021/02/live-not-by-lies-of-wmo-clean-energy.html

This post is designed for those who know little about Clean Energy Initiatives and the United Nations’ desire to control the amount of carbon dioxide gases in the air by shutting down oil, gas, and coal exploration, production, and transmission.

Ask anyone in Texas about energy this week, and you’ll probably get an earful. The Texas power grid failed, and Governor Greg Abbott blames green energy.  Governor Abbot is correct in blaming the Clean Energy Initiatives for the problems in his state this past week.

The most abundant, affordable, reliable energy sources are natural gas, oil, and coal. Any society that loses access to abundant, affordable, and reliable energy will never rise out of poverty, or in the United States case, will quickly fall back into poverty.

Green Energy advocates are killing the United States – literally. Green energy advocates tell us that wind, solar, and electric energy must take over for oil, gas, and coal energy in the United States because “using oil, gas, and coal energy is releasing too much carbon dioxide into the air and making the world’s temperature increase!”

Advocates, like President Joe Biden, say “clean energy will save the planet.”

That is both absurd and deceptive.

Whistleblower: Coca-Cola Uses Antiracist Training That Tells Employees ‘Try To Be Less White’
FEBRUARY 20, 2021 By Evita Duffy

https://thefederalist.com/2021/02/20/whistleblower-coca-cola-uses-antiracist-training-that-tells-employees-try-to-be-less-white/

Employees are told in the “what you can do” section that to “be less white” one can:

Be less oppressive

Be less arrogant

Be less certain

Be less defensive

Be less arrogant

Be more humble

Listen

Believe

Break with apathy

Break with white solidarity

~~~
“Whiteness” is a meaningless postmodern social construct. “Be less white” is all a set of examples in common with the “No Asshole Rule” – standard leftist projection. They’re the ones that are fragile, oppressive, arrogant, Certain(TM) [aka uncorrectable even with the use of stubborn things known as “facts”], defensive, proud, unwilling to listen, unbelieving, apathetic toward breaking the wicked status quo, and express unyielding solidarity to the CRT victim narrative.
If they weren’t already, add CocaCola to your product boycott list. No one needs to be drinking sugar water anyway.
CocaCola was involved with Germany’s Socialist Workers party in the 1930s – some of that history is in the article below. Put in historical context they’ve been on the wrong side of history before. When WWII finally broke out Coke had to break with the Germany franchises. To survive the German franchises created the Fanta line.
Telling any group to “be less white” is like telling Hollywood to “be less Jewish”.
CHANGE MY MIND.
It’s like telling….
Asians to be less…
Indians to be less…
Blacks to be less…
Like telling anyone to deny, be ashamed, change their birth, ancestry, culture…
It’s just another kind of gaslighting and perversion
They want
Women to be less…womanly, feminine, motherly
Men to be less…manly, masculine, fatherly
Children to be available and exploited.
Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy
Yup. It’s bizarre as heck. But the CCP is very, very, very smart. They know exactly what they’re doing. The new race-mongering is the fastest way to cultural revolution, turmoil, murder, death, divide, and weakness in the United States, and Xi knows it.
Wanting a society where everyone is the same breeds intolerance. People will become intolerant of ethnicity , race and we are beginning to see the fallout. Somone thinking different not having the same ideology. It is all about character not race or ethnic background for me.
singingsoul1
This reminds me of my mother when I visited her 30 years ago she was complaining about the Turks in Germany. She said ” if they were just a little bit more German and not that much Turk would be so much better.” Never mind she had a woman from Turkey cleaning her house. I was taken back by her remark and she did not even realize how racist it was.
I have heard in the past from my sons wife “could you just a little less German.”
I am sure I have some German habits just as people have some southern habits or East cost habits.
Would we ask black people to be less black. By the way what does that mean to be less white or less black? Everyone falls into stereo types. People do the same with religious affiliations stereo type.
We are really creating racial divisions where non exist. We worked hard to overcome this crap. We are all God’s creation and all made in His image.
singingsoul1
A thought came to me devaluing Christianity and race poisoning goes hand in hand. Through Christ do we not have examples to accept differences did he not reach out to those who were shun , different and not accepted in some cultural class. Christianity if taught properly should not tolerate racial divisions.
By diminishing Christian values it is easy to destroy a culture and functional society.
Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy
Oh, yes – the “woke” Christianity is Chinese Communist Christianity (CCC). It raises inappropriate divisionist ideas as central. It’s basically satanic and deceived.
Just like Stalin and Hitler worshiping the two men as gods instead of God and Christ.
Last year, a Conservative Party MP got criticised for saying the same thing.
She isn’t white, but her critics in the media thought she was, based on her name: Suella Braverman. (Braverman is her married name.)
She was also strongly in favour of Brexit, another contributing factor.
Just saying, all the Coke bashing is fine and well deserved, but don’t forget that Pepsi got there 12 years ago with its all in support of Obama and should not be considered as a substitute for Coke! 😐
Pepsi is one of the food companies that uses aborted fetal cells in their laboratories for “flavor research.” It’s one of the most disturbing things I’ve ever read about–abort your baby so that it’s dead body can be used to develop new soda flavors! I don’t even have words to describe how dystopic this is.
Unsurprisingly, their CEO is deeply connected to Hillary Clinton.
Pepsi always has been the soft drink of Democrats.
Every Dem I know buys Pepsi by choice, never Coca-Cola.
Gold Peak Diet Tea
Mello Yello Zero
For a guy that works in a hotter climate building houses, I’d think he’d go for iced tea by the gallon.
churchmouse
The best option, by far!
churchmouse
Fanta (from the article) is the pan-European brand, even today.
Most countries don’t have the bottle or the cola flavour, but there are a variety of fruit flavours bottled in each respective country.
Most Europeans don’t even know about Fanta’s origins.
The Texas Energy Disaster22 hours ago Andy May
https://wattsupwiththat.com/2021/02/20/the-texas-energy-disaster/
Lots of data, feel free to peruse further.
Conclusions
The proximate cause for the Texas grid collapse was the very cold weather from February 9 to 17. The initial problem was that wind was producing over 25% of Texas’ power and it is intermittent. Knowing it was intermittent, ERCOT ramped up natural gas generation as an instantaneous backup for the wind, but they forgot that natural gas is supply-on-demand, and the pipelines are vulnerable to disasters, especially cold weather. Disaster power sources are coal and nuclear, they have fuel on site for days or weeks and do not require a pipeline or a backup.
Policy implications
Texas has encouraged the building of wind turbines. They do this, in concert with the U.S. government, through direct subsidies and by paying for wind generation, rather than paying for electricity purchased. This guarantee of revenue means generating companies do not have to consider market demand, they can build wind turbines endlessly with no risk. They can even pay others to take their power and then be reimbursed by the government with our tax dollars! Since 2006, federal and Texas subsidies to wind power, have totaled $80 billion, this foolishness is explained well on the stopthesethings website.
The wind power excess capacity has distorted the generation mix in Texas to a dangerous and unbalanced level. Natural gas, coal and nuclear generating companies have too little revenue to increase or fortify their plants, since wind can generate as much as it wants and is guaranteed revenue for the electricity it generates.
The subsidies and mandates must be stopped and our baseload (aka emergency) capacity increased and fortified. Coal and nuclear power generation must increase. It should be clear to everyone now that, while natural gas is a perfect minute-by-minute grid stabilizer, since it is an on-demand electricity generator, it is vulnerable to weather disruptions. Texas’ current emergency baseload capacity is too small and too vulnerable.
Politics has thoroughly corrupted climate science as I explain in my new book: Politics and Climate Science: A History. The thoroughly corrupt field of climate science politics is now corrupting the fields of engineering involved in power generation. This is dangerous, engineers must make engineering decisions, not politicians. Reliable electricity is essential to our prosperity and well-being, our various governments should not be purposely destabilizing our electrical grid with dumb renewable policies, they should be strengthening the grid to make Texas more resilient.
grandmaintexas
Thank you for this info. I wish someone would gather all these links and into one big post. 😄
The Deep Rig
The author is a noted libertarian who did not vote for Trump and has publicly criticized him on numerous occasions: that said, he believes that Election 2020 was rigged, and this should be objectionable to every person who believes that “just government derives its power from the consent of the governed.” In this book he describes what in August 2020 brought him into researching the field of election fraud, then what really happened on a national scale during the 2020 election. He describes the work he and his team of “cyber-ninjas” did to unravel it, along with the experience of being a lifetime entrepreneur trying to interact with Washington, DC.. This book takes you behind the headlines to the backroom scenes that determined whether or not the fraud would be exposed in time, and in the process, paints a portrait of Washington double-dealings that will leave the reader asking, “Is this the end of our constitutional republic?”
Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy
This might be worth the donation to buy.
Gingersmom2009
I’m getting this today. The only reason I didn’t get it and start reading on Saturday is not wanting to be more pissed off. I have to say, I have believed Byrne from the jump. Sidney Powell and McInerney have put his ad on their telegram channels. She wouldn’t push BS.
Lindell is on with Bannon now, talking about the Dominion lawsuit. Sidney has been sued by them. Lin Wood is being sued in Georgia for his law license. Thousands of people gave sworn testimony, and will suffer consequences. People are not letting this go because they understand it’s over if we let it go.
I realize that a part of the past 5 years was the spotlight on the unimaginable, the wake up call and mobilizing the populace. We now have the officers, and they’re laying their lives down. But you can’t do it without the general.
I certainly hope that Trump doesn’t get up at CPAC and make some cut/paste rally speech. I’m done with that.
Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy
Even if he does, I don’t care. We need 1000 generals now. WE have to become Trump.
Wily.
Winning.
Willing to take a beating.
Trump did what he had to do, as far as I’m concerned. He showed us the plans to the Death Star.
If Trump babbles like Reagan on his ranch for two decades, I don’t mind.
We need new generals now. MANY of them. It’s going to be a very rough period of transition. It’s OK.
I hope to raise up people here. People who come back here every day with WAR STORIES.
Valerie Curren
What incredibly beautiful & hopeful & long-term thinking. Thank you for articulating this! You could append this to your epic “Trump Speed” write up that even Sundance periodically quotes.
John 12: 23-26
23 Jesus replied, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. 24 Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. 25 Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 26 Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.
I was thinking of this passage of scripture, how death leads to abundance of life. Like Jesus’ sacrificial death bought salvation & grace for all (who choose to receive Him) people for all time. If DJT as president, as overt leader, even as a very man is “killed” all they have done is solidified who he was & exposed the importance of the Trumpian essence you so clearly shared above:
WE have to become Trump.
Wily.
Winning.
Willing to take a beating.
They risk turning one Trump into many trumps!
Dominion is part of the STATE CONTROL. It has our tax dollars. It will CRUSH US with our own money. SCOFFLAW SCOTUS will not protect us.
But that’s OK. The FLAWS of the Dominion system are TRUTH. They are so basic and fundamental, it’s astounding. Anybody with a functioning BRAIN can see it and SPEAK THE TRUTH.
I would love to stand in front of MITCH’S BITCHES in SCOTUS and MAKE THEM LIE. Make them DENY the vulnerability of the Dominion system for all to see.
We have to LOVE TRUTH to the CROSS, the GAS CHAMBER, and the FIRING SQUAD.
Did anyone notice that Parler is back online? I kind of think they’re done.
Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy
Yup. I’m on the Gab train. I may see if my Parler account is still there, but I may just close it. The place was literally OWNED by communist administrators. Not sure I ever want to go back in.
So was Bongino completely snookered? Didn’t do his homework? Or something more nefarious? I noticed that his views on his !@#$ youtube channel have gone down since the debacle.
Sadie Slays
I’ve been calling out Bongino for over a year now and getting flack for it every time.
Black Eye Club? Check.
Three Red Banners? Check.
Shilling a very obviously controlled op social network? Check.
The only reason people give him an uncritical free pass for any of this is because he supported President Trump and usually says stuff that we agree with (nevermind that he probably only said that stuff in order to build up enough influence to herd conservatives on to said controlled op network that he’s also financially invested in). If he was a NeverTrumper or Leftist, then people would be bringing up these points every time his name is mentioned.
Harry Lime
Not sure what to make of it, Sadie. He claimed the black eyes were from his judo sessions if I recall correctly…but…he completely missed the Parler fiasco as an investor…and this from an ex SS agent? Something seems a bit off here.
I’m glad you’re back up to speed, technologically.
Sadie Slays
Yes, yes, I hear the same “he got it at the gym” excuse every. single. time. I bring this up. And if the black eye was the only warning sign coming off this guy, then I’d probably let it go, but it’s not. It’s the black eye AND the the same three red lines that the Dems/CCP/cabal uses AND his questionable judgment regarding Parler. At what point does it stop being a coincidence? How many warning signs does it take before people will finally admit that there’s something “off” about this man?
para59r
He is from the Horse Trading Theorist club when it came to explaining away Mueller Gate (SD was another but he gave other concocted reasons too ) and that/those certainly did not work out well enough in the results department.
Meanwhile for the black eye stuff, he does spar at the gym and who knows, maybe at home too if he married an athletic girl. 😎
Harry Lime
Horse Trading Theorist club? Brief summary? I think i get your drift but…not quite sure.
Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy
Same here – always interested in revisiting the Mueller problem.
Tonawanda
IIRC, Sundance broached his theory way back in the beginning, the days when The Big Ugly was going to be a confrontation with the Deep State government apparatus (now, the Big Ugly has been tacitly changed refer to Trump confronting McConell and the other Republican members of the Uniparty).
When Sundance broached his theory, there was not an iota of doubt in our minds that Trump would put Hillary in jail, along with other deserving criminals.
Sundance speculated, and his speculation was very sharp and plausible, that Mueller was intended to create a sort of mutually assured destruction stalemate, where both sides stood down .
It has since occurred to Sundance (and the rest of us) that Mueller’s actual purpose was to destroy evidence and to cover-up prior criminality, as well as to contribute to a four year long blasting of vuvuzelas which, in conjunction with McConnell, was intended to keep Trump under never-ending attack (regardless of how absurd), to keep Trump from accomplishing as much as they could, and to deny Trump credit for the miracles he was able to achieve nonetheless.
Mueller had nothing, and Trump had everything (objectively speaking, not practically speaking), so the trade-off was (theoretically) not realistic in that sense.
The key to everything, it turns out, was McConnell, who 100% controlled personnel, including SCOTUS. IMO Trump never expected the complete opposition of the Republicans. Neither Trump nor ANY of us anticipated such categorical treachery.
The old observation was the best observation: Trump was not stupid enough to hire the various jerks who betrayed him without knowing who they were. But the rest of the argument was a false inference, that these traitors must in fact be secret allies doing secret things.
In fact, Trump came to learn that McConnell held every single card when it came to personnel, and what McConnell wanted, McConnell got. In return, Trump got the appearance of normalcy, and “permission” by McConnel for Trump to appear in charge, not complete and ostentatious weakness caused by his own party.
The President is not a whiner or complainer, he is a realist. He does what he can do.
And now he must destroy the CCP wing of the Republican party.
singingsoul1
Very good post.
Tonawanda
TY!
michaelh
“And now he must destroy the CCP wing of the Republican party.”
Which cannot be done as an “insider” effectively.
Tonawanda
Exactly. It is so encouraging that the civilian President has immediately switched to the right path, cleaning out the GOP.
churchmouse
‘Trump got the appearance of normalcy, and “permission” by McConnell for Trump to appear in charge, not complete and ostentatious weakness caused by his own party.’
Makes sense also with regard to Trump’s Supreme Court nominations.
Can’t help but wonder if Mitch told them, ‘Don’t forget who got you your confirmations’.
Tonawanda
That was the unbreakable power McConnell had.
churchmouse
True!!
Covadonga
Plus, remember that 17 said in ’18 “The Senate is the target.” Or words to that effect.
churchmouse
Thank you for the reminder.
I forgot about that.
para59r
The theory was they give up something in exchange for Trump giving up something (information or people). All we got was one lousy lawyer out of the DOJ. It wasn’t a great theory because Trump really had nothing to give them, but it was bandied about as an explanation of what was happening behind closed doors.
SteveinCO has had his eye on Pur.ism for phones.
I’m not so sure.
Personal experience with Pur.ism as a company…
(Very similar to Epik.com by the way.)
Talk up a great philosophy.
Execution sub-par.
Both promise a certain level of service.
Both were unable to handle even the slightest issues.
From my experience I would guess they got overloaded at the customer service level and hired 3rd party staff to handle issues. Those “guys” used various names, male or female, but by the end of the interaction is was pretty clear that these are culturally non-American corner-cutting hired guys that would give you just enough to check off their “handled” box, while rarely correcting the original issue.
Biggest complaint would be how .S.L.O.W. fulfillment has been, with ZERO status updates regarding any delays.
If they were just another service provider or just another new hardware company, this would not be so irritating.
But to talk themselves up as something special and then give customers the “hire-a-turk” experience … Meh
Well, and then there’s this:
https://nationalfile.com/revealed-parlers-new-ceo-wants-convention-that-would-let-george-soros-rewrite-the-constitution/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=revealed-parlers-new-ceo-wants-convention-that-would-let-george-soros-rewrite-the-constitution
A woman I know personally, who is one of our state representative, actually made national news last week as one of the leaders in stopping this idea cold here in Montana.
michaelh
There are a lot of conservatives for Convention of States.
Jim DeMint is one of the big names and he recorded a 5 min video for it on PragerU.
Eagle Forum has been extremely vocal against this saying it is a bad idea.
Just important to be careful when dealing with people who have drank the CoS koolaid . . . they aren’t intentionally doing the wrong thing.
Aubergine
Agreed. People just haven’t thought it through. Leftists won’t follow the Constitution now; changing it won’t make them follow it, unless they’ve used the opportunity to change it to suit THEM.
para59r
There is a a lot of built in fear about a Convention of States. You were taught growing up that it could become a “Run Away Convention”, or at least some teachers in my schools used to make such a claim. Then some of those same teachers used to say your vote doesn’t matter and they were more interested in that we didn’t grow up thinking we had a voice in our future and such things should be best left alone to our betters to decide for us.
Runaway Convention? Not likely. State Delegates to the convention can walk away at anytime during the process. There are enough conservative states to make sure we don’t hit the 2/3rds mark if it is not something we want.
So what is a convention of states. Simply It is the meeting of at least 2/3rds (34 states) of representatives from State Legislatures with the intent of amending the Constitution.
If states meet with the intent of making specific amendments that further limit the Constitution, if there is transparency in the process, the ability to see if proposals are staying on track and not getting corrupted by rouge Soros type influencers so that States can demand their delegates to walk away if need be, then a Constitutional Convention is the single best and fastest way to get this country back on track by further limiting the power of Federal Govt.
Further, whatever is decided at a State Convention has to come back to the states to be voted on and ratified. This might be piece meal amendments (likely) or an entirely new document (less likely). Then if two thirds of the states ratify then the Constitution it is amended.
The left has a long history of subverting the Constitution. We know all their arguments and weasel words they’ve used to get around the plain talk in the Constitution. A State Convention would be the fastest and surest way of shoring up all those loop holes and a way to put teeth into a balanced budget.
SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA
Oh, Mark Levin.
I bought his book full of proposed amendments and every single one of them is a trap of some kind or another.
para59r
You’d have to describe each and everyone of them and state why you consider them traps cause I don’t buy political books. But thank you for playing 😁
SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA
Unfortunately I *lost* the book. But what I was responding to has all the arguments he made in favor of such a convention. Given the sneaky landmines in his proposed amendments, he’s either a blithering incompetent or not on our side.
Some of his amendments named specific government agencies…which would have enshrined them in the constitution (now, at least conceivably, they could be dissolved). One was phrased backwards from his claimed intent and would have made it impossible for states to pass a constitutional amendment. Others would have relied on stats from government agencies we already know are corrupt or easily corrupted. And so on. There may have been two decent amendments in the whole damn list.
Aubergine
All I’m saying is, they don’t follow the Constitution now, so adding something else for them to ignore is futile.
singingsoul1
Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy
Here is some information:
https://slate.com/technology/2021/02/parler-capitol-riot-proud-boys-skysilk.html
Parler has claimed it will monitor violent content on its rebooted site with human and A.I. moderators and will hide posts that attack someone based on sex, sexual orientation, race, or religion with a “trolling filter.” Users can still click through the filter to view the content, however. SkySilk CEO Kevin Matossian has framed his company’s decision to now host Parler as a move to promote free speech.
Valerie Curren
If twitter & facebook had a “click through” filter that would be much closer to free speech than what is currently happening on those platforms.
Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy
Cheryl Chumley lays out a really good explanation – very simple – about why we are where we are in American politics. The left has lost it’s individual conscience of good and evil. They can lie all day and sleep all night.
Harry Lime
How do you compromise with someone who’s moral compass starts at zero and ends at zero? She’s right…you can’t.
Where I will disagree with her is where she says that the Clintons didn’t want to destroy America like Obama did. They certainly did…they just didn’t actually think they could do it openly and get away with it like Obama did.
Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy
Yes! The Clintons were counting on more years to do it. The media wasn’t as completely controlled during Beelzebubba as it was by the time we got to Obama.
Harry Lime
…and now (imo) the pendulum has reached its apex…and is about to come crashing down in the opposite direction with maximum force…Trump Force!
As dark as things may seem to some…I do believe we are about to see an amazing transformation in this country…there are just too many of us that are now awake to what is going on…the numbers are on our side…and always have been…a few tweaks to how information is disseminated and we will see a transformation unlike anything we have seen before…(insert image of Brian Stelter peeing on himself).
Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy
Agreed. People are sensing that the levels of asshattery and bullshit are now epic.
We just have to keep spreading the enlightenment. It’s working. “They won’t be able to walk the streets.” However, there will be some scary moments between now and then. Be prepared. They will not go down easily, because CHYYYNNA is playing them for keeps.
Harry Lime
“However, there will be some scary moments between now and then. Be prepared. They will not go down easily, because CHYYYNNA is playing them for keeps.”
Yup…it’s not gonna be a cake walk…many ugly times ahead, false flags, propaganda, bloodshed…that’s how they roll…but I’m confident…From Plato’s Republic:
“Tyranny is not a matter of petty thefts and acts of violence, but of wholesale plunder, sacred and profane, private and public. And yet, the real tyrant is enslaved to cringing and to servitudes beyond compare, he is a flatterer of the basest of men, and so far from finding even the least satisfaction for his desires, he is in need of most things, and is truly a poor man, as is apparent to anyone who knows how to observe a soul.”
Look to the past. These people will be their own destruction. Stay strong…It’s only a matter of time.
I am really turning into a broken record, but how could ANYONE on our side not understand that the Clintons were both devoted to America’s destruction, not the least reason being that they were the first to ally themselves with the CCP in the plan to destroy America?
I realize how annoying I sound, and this is unrealistic venting, but why is our side so ready to concede so much to the other side? Especially stuff which is simply untrue?
I am still irked about General Flynn calling our enemies “left-leaning.” We are nazis, racists, haters, terrorists and violent, they are “left-leaning.”
FROM GAB
MAGA Mom
I clicked on this article thinking I might hate it.
Instead, I LOVE it! Gave me a completely fresh perspective.
I saw the title, “There is no Civil War within the Republican Party” and thought, yes, there is a struggle for control of the GOP as some of the former leaders, big donors and some of the elected GOP, especially in the Senate, want to return to the GOP of 10 yrs ago – both in the way things worked and to the NeoCon policies.
Is the author denying this?
No, he acknowledges them but twists the narrative – the civil war exists only in the media narrative, the Dem narrative and the GOPe narrative … ie the Uniparty talking points, the Uniparty that is desperately trying to regain control, who thought that would automatically regain control, would automatically reverty to the old ways and old agenda when President Trump is defeated.
90% of the GOP voting base is Solidly MAGA. How can that be a civil war?
At least 1/2+ of the RNC members are MAGA or President Trump’s picks would not have been elected 6 weeks ago.
Many state and Many county GOPs are majority MAGA in their leadership + members – hence we see them being so outspoken toward their RINO elected politicians (and to be that outspoken is not easy for a group to do!).
Who is falling for the “civil war” rhetoric?
-Some who are GOP and part of the 10% not solidly MAGA – they don’t realize how out of touch they are
-the Uniparty, including RINOs, Dems and media
-Some MAGA who don’t realize how powerful the MAGA GOP are and are allowing themselves to be inactivated instead of energized and motivated to win.
The media create the seeming equal forces within the GOP and empower the elected RINOs. No! Don’t buy it!
They WANT MAGA out and they are delighted when they discourage MAGA and thus weaken MAGA within the GOP. Their days are numbered as we saw with Corker, Flake, Alexander and now Burr and more retiring. They know their days are numbered and they can not be win GOP primaries.
We can not allow ourselves to believe the Media about our own party.
Excerpts from the linked article:
“Let’s be perfectly clear: there is no civil war in the GOP, no major schism, no two sides battling for control of the party of Lincoln. Poll after poll shows us that Republican voters overwhelmingly see Donald Trump as the leader of the party. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and Rep. Liz Cheney’s hopes that voters would abandon Trump have been dashed on the cliffs of reality.
So why is the media pretending that some major battle for the future of the GOP has been joined? One reason is quite simply the desire to keep the profitable Trump story going. After spending five years addicted to easy bait and click stories, the media is loathe to give Trump up. Stories of him, Machiavelli-like, plotting and planning in the glam quarters of Mar a Lago are too tempting to resist.
Trump’s populist, America First presidency was wildly popular among conservatives. His willingness to be the first Republican to fully engage the culture war also gave a new meaning and purpose for the party even in defeat.
Let’s look at what each side is offering and compare. The Trump wing, otherwise known as 90 percent of the GOP, is offering a laser focus on American jobs, a firm hand at the border, and a foreign policy that doesn’t kowtow to China and avoids new wars. Culturally it s a party willing to say that men cannot become women and that America is not a racist country.
The establishment side is offering what, exactly? Calm? Dignity? I don’t know, judges? Judges are great, and they are McConnell’s legacy. But by the time political and cultural issues go before the courts, conservatives have already lost; they are already on defense. What is McConnell’s vision for the Republican Party? What is Cheney’s? What do they want to achieve? Does anyone know?
Voters don’t want to hear McConnell’s complaints about Trump’s behavior. They want to hear how a Republican Party that has been playing defense for 30 years will take the fight forward to restore basic American values.
For those in the media, and former conservatives left homeless by Trump’s success, the myth of this civil war is too much to resist. They are desperate to believe that any moment now GOP voters will come to their senses and reject Trump. It isn’t going to happen. They warn that losses in the suburban white vote will doom Republicans to permanent second place, but as the party becomes more diverse and working class it can afford to leave the Whole Foods set behind.
The Republican Party is Donald Trump’s party. It is today and it will be tomorrow. As the out of touch media drones on about establishment fossils trying to turn the clock back, rest assured they have no idea what they are talking about it. There is no civil war; it’s just a TV show. And we already know how it ends.”
“We may smile at “War is peace” or “Two plus two equals five” as absurdities, yet such examples of doublethink and doublespeak are now commonplace in America.
Consider, for example, “politically correct,” a phrase in circulation for years now. But what does it really mean? Are we unaware that it smacks of totalitarianism? Since perceptions regarding politics and culture change today as frequently as the weather, how do we know when or if we are politically correct?
More than any other phrase, politically correct explains the fear and silence on our campuses and in our workplaces. Give voice to an unpopular opinion, slip up and utter a banned thought or word, or have someone quote you out of context, and a social media mob may well hunt you down and destroy your reputation and your life. In Orwell’s book, Big Brother’s Thought Police pounce on such offenders. In our age, the assailants are all eager volunteers.
Other terms in common usage have equally empty or contradictory meanings. Was the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol an “insurrection?” That’s hard to fathom considering the billions of dollars in property damage last summer were supposed to be the result of “peaceful protests,” not riots. Or consider “systemic racism.” Is it countered by uttering “Black Lives Matter”? And if black lives really do matter to the members of that organization, one wonders why they aren’t working to bring law and order to the streets of cities like Chicago and Detroit, where black casualty lists run into the dozens every week. What about a biological man claiming to be female? Does he have the right to demand he be addressed by made-up pronouns?
In That Hideous Strength, those seeking to transform the world employed euphemism to hide their final objectives, as the organization leading the totalitarian takeover is the National Institute of Coordinated Experiments, or the N.I.C.E. In1984, The Ministry of Truth is a propaganda organ for the state, the Ministry of Love the place where the Thought Police interrogate and torture dissidents.
Some of our politicians indulge in these same antics. Google “Truth Commission USA,” and you’ll find many commentators telling us we need to have the truth filtered to us. Member of Congress Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez advocated for such an organization to sort out what she regards as misinformation, meaning viewpoints antagonistic to her own.
The ongoing assault on language is corrupting thought in this country, and twisted thoughts and words are corrupting our politics and our culture.”
Words matter and narrative matters.
JasonD
I think Sargon of Akkad recently pointed out that one of their more devious schemes relating to the redefinition of words is that they will use the new definitions to re-interpret old / existing law.
Change the meaning of the word from what it meant when the law was drafted then argue that the law means what the new interpretation of the word is.
So yes, words matter – AND THEY ARE WELL AWARE OF THIS. It is one of the arrows in their quivers….
THESE PEOPLE ARE DEVIOUS!!!!
And of course the woke / activist law community will pretend that this is all perfectly legit, the new Supremes will go along etc …….
These people are devious AND they NEVER SLEEP. They live eat and breath this “We are Us and the FUTURE is US” crap. There is only one way to win this.
para59r
Well, considering that cuneiform really took off under Sargon of Akkad I can understand how this could be so. In fact everything right with this world and everything wrong in this world can be traced back to Sargon and his daughter Enheduanna. This even goes beyond things like writing and the invention of words but includes concepts for established religion, pansexualism, technocrats, the tablets of destiny, the city state and the dreaded Me’s to mention a few.
Oh wait! Not that Sargon of Akkad?
Concenring the recent attack regarding the “racist” focus of correct answers in math class:
“Recent training materials instruct teachers in ways to promote antiracism and create “a collective approach to dismantling white supremacy.” Said white supremacy “shows up in math classrooms,” the materials explain, when “the focus is on getting the ‘right’ answer,” or when teachers “treat mistakes as problems,” because such actions signal “perfectionism” and “paternalism.”
“These prepackaged thoughts were addressed by John Taylor Gatto in an essay entitled “Confederacy of Dunces.” Dunces, Gatto wrote, are what schools produce best and on purpose. They are “the victims of the non-thought of secondhand ideas” who well know “the opinions of Time magazine and CBS, The New York Times and the President.” They are selective in “which pre-thought thoughts, which received opinions” they take to heart.
Gatto goes on to say:
Mass dumbness is vital to modern society. The dumb person is wonderfully flexible clay for psychological shaping by market research, government policymakers, public-opinion leaders, and any other interest group. The more pre-thought thoughts a person has memorized, the easier it is to predict what choices he or she will make. What dumb people cannot do is think for themselves or ever be alone for very long without feeling crazy. That is the whole point of national forced schooling; we aren’t supposed to be able to think for ourselves because independent thinking gets in the way of ‘professional’ thinking, which is believed to follow rules of scientific precision.”
Gatto and John Holt were early influences on me and my homeschooling methods. Their methods didn’t work (or I didn’t work the methods) for us but their influence is still felt. We started there and moved, over time, to more traditional methods to the point we are more Delight Driven (v. child lead). Too many times I have seen unschooling turn into unparenting … but that post would take us too far from politics and would leave me more wide awake instead of reading myself back to sleep.
Anyway, Gatto and Holt give excellent perspective and food for thought. This specific article as well as much more of their advice can be applied whether one’s child is being homeschooled or not.
Just because one’s child goes to public school does not mean we ought to leave their entire education up to the free gov educators as that would be tragic. Our family lives ought to be enriching with hobbies, books, conversation, community involvement and other self learning and interests.
The article gives a few brief pieces of specific advice.
Hi Wheatie. Looks like I won’t make it in time to post on your thread as I thought – work called unexpectedly.
I will try and change my posting style – please feel free to prompt me as required in the reply section till I get it right – I promise not to take offence!! 🙂
Sorry about that garbled post – I think I know how that happened – it was pretty weird how it got so mashed up.
Intentional. Go back and read your last post on Mass dumbness and say it’s not so.
Cute but tempting fate. Pitbulls and bully breeds are not trustworthy overall, with exceptions of course. Too many incidents. I know of an infant that was in its carseat. The families 2 pits ripped off his diaper, and in doing so his member. Hopefully this family has some sense and never leaves the dog alone with their baby.
gil00
Thats why exceptions always exist. But far too many horror stories are breed specific.
singingsoul1
One never leave a small child alone with any dog.
My Heeler is very good with kids she just lays down. My Coonhound Staff gets so excited wanting to play with kids specially if they are hyper. He will jump and not bite but he can scratch them push the over. I would never put a baby on a dog or let the dog lick them. I am very protective until kids get to a certain age. My kids were not able to sleep with the cats until the kids were 4. I also taught my kids to respect animals and watch for signs when an animal does not want to be bothered.
Common sense .
Well, and logically, wouldn’t “global warming” be a good thing, if you wanted to run the planet on solar power?
Leftists are morons.
SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA
Not really, because that kind of heat would be worthless for power generation. And I do mean worthless, it’s waste heat.
I had a friend who insisted that Hell has no energy crisis; what I tried (and failed) to convey to him is that a uniformly high temperature can supply no energy; you run steam plants (and the like) off a temperature difference. (This is why geothermal is usually worthless for generating electricity–there’s just not enough of a temperature difference until you drill some very, very deep holes.)
Gudthots
How marvelous a thought. Hell as a steady state zero.
SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA
He thought he was making a clever comment (he didn’t believe in Hell, and neither did (or do) I) but unfortunately he came across as a scientific illiterate in doing so.
Thermodynamics is annoying and comes to a bunch of conclusions we don’t like, but it’s very much an accurate description of many aspects of the Universe.
Thanks Steve. I was being sort of a smart-ass. I think “global warming” is a fallacy. I don’t think anyone knows what the climate will be in a hundred years or more.
SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA
I thought you were quoting someone else.
Global Warming is one of those things that seems plausible. Yes, the greenhouse effect is undeniable…Earth would be a *lot* colder if there were no greenhouse effect–it would hover around 0 F for an average, our oceans would be frozen. The problem is their models are based on assumptions that often aren’t true, often don’t take into account various things (like the Sun having variable output), and let’s not even go into the dubious accuracy of the data fed into the models. We already know the models have been wrong. The problem is the system is so dang complicated we can’t do the job properly without a model.
I was thinking about this the other evening in connection with another theory that seems plausible, but really isn’t…but I can’t remember what that is. (No, not evolution…that’s solid.)
“We’re not going to be shut up!” says Juan O Savin who has been working on a World Class Social Media site that will allow free speech for all! The new site is  107 Daily – Home to Free Speech and the Free Flow of Information Online  107 Daily is a social network that champions free speech, individual liberty and the free flow of information online. Deplorable Patriot
Thanks for bringing this.
Juan O. Savin’s explanations on some of the more bizarre traditional conspiracy information actually put it all together for me in some ways. It made a lot more sense than the way the explanations are usually dished out.
Whether it’s true or not…it’s entertaining either way.
duchess01
I hear you, DP – I keep thinking what Kew said – ‘We are watching a movie.’
Because of this – it all makes sense – PT stepping down – the constant ‘drip – drip – drip’ of information – why it has to be this way.
We know – but, many are still asleep – remember how you felt when you first began to research what anyone would call – ‘wild conspiracy theories’ – you argued with yourself – how can this be true – and – as you continued to investigate – you started making connections – until you realized – you were duped – all of us were duped – and the lies just got bigger and bigger.
We have come a long way – and Kew helped fill in the gaps in our research – can you imagine not knowing any of this – and awakening one day to find your entire world is shattered and upside down?
Recently – I heard what is happening now – is about unifying the country – and not in the way the B Administration and its controllers talk about unity, either.
Those who rejected PT have already taken the blue pill – and made their choice to remain controlled – I do not think they can ‘chuck’ it up and take the red pill now – because some are beyond saving.
Just my thoughts – Thanks for listening.
Deplorable Patriot
Recently – I heard what is happening now – is about unifying the country – and not in the way the B Administration and its controllers talk about unity, either.
I would be interested in hearing what you heard.
I came across another account where Juan is interviewed and I actually stayed on the treadmill this morning listen to Juan rant about the impatient sorts. It sounds like the reason a lot didn’t go down on January 20 is that the intelligence community slow rolled Ratcliff’s report to the point that the military couldn’t do the threat assessment before then. It’s done now, and, yeah, we’re under military control more or less while things are worked out.
But it was the rest of what he had to say (I haven’t finished listening, but I need to get to work today) that was causing his ire. he was basically repeating all the stuff that’s been decoded, but explaining that if it doesn’t look right, it ain’t.
duchess01
I wish I had written down where I heard that ‘unity’ call – perhaps, I will come across it again somewhere – right now – I cannot recall – but, I do know it has something to do with the ‘actions’ of the ‘fake’ president – remember – everything they say and do are the exact opposite of what is actually happening – and how can they call for ‘unity’ while bashing conservatives and allegedly threatening to round them all up for punishment?
Gingersmom2009
Whose interview was that? I’d like to listen!
duchess01
JUAN O SAVIN & GERRY FOLEY WANTS YOU TO WATCH THIS VIDEO!
Gingersmom2009
Is this the one DP was talking about?
duchess01
Yes!!!
Deplorable Patriot
No. The one I was talking about was from the same channel but last week, not the first week of April.
Gingersmom2009
Pryme Minister right? I’ll look it up, I like that guy.
Deplorable Patriot
Yes. About the 58 minute mark is where Juan went off. I was on the treadmill, and the Couch Commando being the little brother he is turned off the lights, so I’m not sure of the exact time.
Gingersmom2009
So there are two from last week, one with just Juan and Pryme- the other is Juan, Pryme and 2 other folks. I’m assuming you’re talking about the group discussion, as the other one is only 40+ minutes. In the meantime I’ll check the 58 minute mark.👍🏻
Gingersmom2009
I found it. OMG, sometimes Juan just wanders on – he’s brilliant here. I have to watch it from the top. Are you sure you don’t think that he’s just using some sort of vocal filter? He sounds much different than he did when he used to call in to Abel Danger. It’s like all the lows are filtered out of his voice, leaving a slight tinny quality.
Deplorable Patriot
TO me it sounds like he’s got a cigar habit.
When this was posted here (or somewhere … but I think here) I took a screen shot & then posted this on facebook. At about 200 “shares” (way more than usual for anything I post on my personal page) factchecker label appeared saying the picture/meme was “missing context” and was false/misleading.
So I took screen shots of Biden’s actual words as reported in the press & of two headlines with Biden’s words in their headlines. Assembled all on a doc, nicely arranged for 1 picture and too a screen shot.
Next, added the msm media proof in the post with the orginal screen shot. “Shares” automatically update.
So now the meme has been shared close to 250x side by side with the MSM reporting the Exact Same thing and the fb “fact checker” label over both looking stupid. Their fack check is clearly carry water + twisting what was said to cover for Biden and I put both the meme and the proof right next to each other.
Now, the 250x shares serves 2 purposes: Biden AND the fact checkers stupidity
Here’s another good article from someone on board with my way of thinking. We have to stop playing by the rules while the left beats the shit out of us street-fighter style:
https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2021/02/conservatives_need_to_start_taking_no_prisoners_and_claiming_scalps.html
A lot of people still think that we can fight the left the same way we did in the 1980s.
They haven’t really come to terms yet with how serious the left is, and how pernicious cancel culture is.
You can’t just get a policy change – they will come back and try again, and sooner than you would think.
You might get a school policy defeated – but they will try to assert it again even before the semester is out, forget the next school year.
They will also implement things under the radar as much as possible so that no one knows they’re there. Can’t use CRT in curriculum? Fine, they’ll just use memorandums to inject it into the classrooms using the existing curriculum.
Bongino said it well: After Kavanaugh, the new rules are we win and they lose. They set the rules, not us, so we have to play by their rules.
Put another way, every time the Dems go out of bounds with a new attack, Trump turns it around and uses their new play against them, and makes them regret it.
For the left, it isn’t about “democracy” – not about debating and having an intellectual discussion. It’s about total power.
And as we saw w/ James O’Keefe they have no compunction about doing their ideological politicking on the clock at their job, even while they produce little or nothing of actual work related output.
They get away with it because they aren’t afraid of being fired. They’ve got the fear flipped around onto conservatives who are asymmetrically punished for wearing a hat.
Two sets of rules – one for leftists (insiders) and one for conservatives (pariahs). It’s liberal privilege at its finest.
Clarifying Wind Turbines
Posted Feb 21, 2021 by Martin Armstrong
https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/armstrongeconomics101/basic-concepts/clarifying-wind-turbines/
It is possible to include heating elements in wind turbines to prevent freezing. They never took that into consideration in Texas where the wind turbines probably supply as much as 10% of the power. The same problem took place in Germany. Nobody seems to have done their research into historic weather patterns.
~~~

There are too many of these totally empty articles on the Texas energy situation. This is an excellent example of trying to sound smart while saying nothing of consequence.

Self-congratulatory of how smart they are, but they’ve done NOTHING to advance the ball other than criticize other people’s apparent lack of planning.

Yet I continue to see these B.S. articles shared on other blogs.

Again, the people behind the Texas windfarms (which, as we have documented, include the CCP) refuse to listen to the resident’s concerns – what makes anyone think that they are going include anything that corresponds to a Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery plan?

When $$$ are the ONLY concern, then $$$ drive every decision, including what shortcuts to take.

That’s the same reason why Bill Gates’ Monday morning quarterbacking “they could have installed winterized wind turbines” misses the point – the same corruption that failed to winterize is the exact same corruption that installed them in the first place in a money grab for federal wind subsidies.

SCRIPTURE for our Courts

One day this week, we will learn what our Supreme Court has decided about the 2020 Election Fraud cases before it right now. Earlier, the SCOTUS acted politically while claiming to act politically – and were afraid of violence.

Psalm 82 – The Living Bible

God stands up to open heaven’s court. He pronounces judgment on the judges.
How long will you judges refuse to listen to the evidence? How long will you shower special favors on the wicked?
Give fair judgment to the poor man, the afflicted, the fatherless, the destitute.
Rescue the poor and helpless from the grasp of evil men.
But you are so foolish and so ignorant! Because you are in darkness, all the foundations of society are shaken to the core.
I have called you all “gods” and “sons of the Most High.”
But in death you are mere men. You will fall as any prince—for all must die.
Stand up, O God, and judge the earth. For all of it belongs to you. All nations are in your hands.

——-
Prayers from Franklin Graham’s 30 Days of Prayer for our Nation, and from the 1928 Book of Common Prayer and anonymous.

Dear Lord,
We pray for our Supreme Court justices. These men and women are responsible for making decisions that can drastically impact our lives—and the lives of our children and grandchildren.
Please give them wisdom—and please let openings in the court to be filled with men and women who will stand for Your truth and protect our freedom.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen
——-
Almighty God, who sittest in the throne judging right,
We humbly beseech Thee to bless he courts of justice and the magistrates of all this land; And give unto them the spirit of wisdom and understanding they they may discern the truth, and impartially administer the law in the fear of Thee alone; through Him who shall come to be our Judge, thy Son, our Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen
——-
Dear Father in Heaven,
May the Lord have mercy upon our nation and all the wicked nations of the West, for we have rebelled against thee in all our ways.
We have written and passed laws that have enabled us to break all Your Holy Eternal Commandments, that make us humane, civilized, with compassionate and upright hearts, that enable us to have communion and peace with You and each other. We have forged laws that would force Godly people to break Your Laws and violate their conscience and common sense. With each of these laws, we become weaker and more compromised, more divided of heart and mind. We cannot be whole and strong, unless we repent and return to You.
Have mercy upon us; Grant us conviction of sin, full and true repentance, that we may become the nation of good laws that our founding fathers, inspired by You and Your Word, forged and hoped would continue.
In the Name of Jesus, the only Name under Heaven by which we may be saved.
Amen

Here’s his very interesting wiki:

John Barron wrote the response to Julius Mader’s cold war doxxing of the US intelligence agencies, “Who’s Who In The CIA”.

(I posted a link to more information on Mader’s book, a suspected Stasi publication, on yesterday’s buffalo mafia thread.)

Via The Texas Scorecard:

  • It’s no secret that this session of the Texas Legislature has looked quite different than sessions past.
  • Restrictions put in place in response to the Chinese coronavirus have severely limited the amount of time lawmakers are spending in session on the House and Senate floors.
  • Meanwhile, many legislators’ offices are either closed or only open by appointment. Hours spent recognizing visiting groups on the floor of the House and Senate have been stripped away. And last week’s subfreezing weather has canceled plans for this week, with lawmakers unable to make the commute to the capital city.
  • Today marks 98 days left in the Legislature’s 140-day session. How long has each chamber spent on the floor so far?
  • The Texas House has met for 7 hours and 48 minutes.
  • The Texas Senate has met for 4 hours and 32 minutes.
  • The Texas Constitution prohibits the Legislature from passing bills for the first 60 days. An exception is made, however, for the governor’s emergency items, which Gov. Greg Abbott announced during his State of the State address on February 1.
  • In the Senate, the committees on redistricting and finance have held meetings to discuss the two bills the Legislature is obligated to pass—the budget and redrawing congressional maps. The House is expected to begin scheduling committee hearings this week.

  • With the skies clear and temperatures on the rise again, the members of the Legislature will have their work cut out for them.
  • This time, the runway will be shorter than ever for the business Texans elected lawmakers to address.

Coming Up:

  • Both the House and Senate are slated to reconvene on Tuesday afternoon.
  • On Thursday, the House State Affairs and Energy Resources Committee will hold a joint investigative hearing into ERCOT and the massive outages that left millions of Texans without power last week.

There are 98 days left in the current legislative session.

I want to offer my sincere condolences to those who lost family members during this trying week of severe winter weather that struck the Lone Star State, and across the midwest. We saw an amazing outpouring of neighbors supporting neighbors, opening up their homes for warmth and water, even showers. There is something to be said about our helping each other through tough times.

As we look back on the past week, I thought I would share some lessons learned about leadership that the Army taught me. It was 30 years ago, right now, that I was a young Captain with Task Force 2-16 Infantry, Second Brigade, First Infantry Division, preparing to launch the ground offensive against the Iraqi Army in Operation Desert Storm.

We had been well-trained and had rehearsed our initial combat operation. What would my soldiers have thought of me if I had stepped back and taken R&R? Army officers are taught that you share in the privations and conditions with your troops. We are trained to eat last, to ensure our troops are fed first. The lesson is that it is about servant leadership. After all, as a Christian, that is what Jesus Christ taught us, that the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve.

The italicized words at the beginning of this missive kinda go along with President Harry Truman’s mantra of “the buck stops here.” I always imparted a simple lesson to young leaders when I was in the Army: “own it.” Nothing would infuriate a senior officer more than one telling them “it was not my fault, sir.” One simply states, “Sir, I have identified the problem, and this is what we are doing to rectify the situation.” You are probably still going to get a butt chewing, but inside, the senior officer realizes that you are displaying the characteristics of a leader, a responsible one.

Leaders don’t just take responsibility, but they hold themselves accountable, and to a far higher standard than others. That is what is expected. After all, when you are in a position of leadership, you should act the part, and realize the standards which you are to uphold.

Prepare for the worst-case scenario.

In the Army, when planning a combat operation, you consider the enemy’s most likely and most dangerous course of action. And, it is the most dangerous course of action that you plan for because that is the one that can bring about the most devastation against your force.

We all knew that there was a major, severe, weather event heading our way. This is where you bring in your Crisis Action Team (CAT), and they conduct all the requisite planning and present recommendations to be undertaken to mitigate the risk of an impending storm, or in my time in the military, an enemy attack. This is what we used to call contingency planning and operational execution. I was taught that real leaders are never caught unaware, especially if they have good intelligence and time.

Leaders are not always expected to know everything, but they should be expected to know the right questions to ask and have that gut instinct. That is why those of you who know me know that I always carry a stack of 3×5 cards on me, a vital lesson that I learned from senior commanders. You cannot remember everything, but you can capture every thought, idea, concept, and insight.

One person does, another person checks.

We lived by this standard in the field artillery. No artillery round was fired until the deflection and quadrant elevation set on the cannon or rocket, was checked by a section chief. That was to ensure that when that lanyard was pulled, that projectile went where it was intended to go. It was always necessary to have redundant checks to reduce the propensity for human error.

That also applies to this situation we just encountered. It is one thing to say, “check the equipment.” It is another thing to check and make sure the equipment was checked. In the case of an impending severe winter storm, there have to be mandated winterization checks. Heck, in the Army, prior to winter arriving, we dedicated an entire week to equipment winterization: vehicles, generators, and weapons. But, we also had a system of checking to make sure the task was, indeed, accomplished. Ronald Reagan even had a saying, “trust but verify.” This goes back to the crisis action planning and preparation as part of the severe weather contingency operation. Issuing guidance as to what necessary precautions and steps must be taken and ensuring that there is follow-up guaranteeing those directives were followed.

No plan survives first contact with the enemy.

I think that is pretty self-explanatory. We would say, “make your plan knowing that the enemy has a deciding vote.” The skilled leader in any crisis situation is the one who is flexible and adaptive, always thinking about what we called “branches and sequels” off of the base plan. You have to have that predictive instinct and always consider trends and indicators that will enable you to stay ahead of the crisis you are facing. Severe cold weather affects pipes, which means water supplies can be adversely affected. Thus, how do we mitigate the loss of water supply? If there is a loss of power, where can we establish warming centers, using arenas and local military installations?

These are just thoughts that two decades and time in combat taught me. However, the real issue to be learned from this episode is that renewable energy is not dependable, reliable, and available. The state of Texas has indeed “invested” in renewable energy to the tune of some $19B in taxpayer subsidies since 2006. In recent years, Texas has taken down coal-fired plants and implemented a threefold increase of wind energy in our energy distribution system, to 23-25 percent. I guess you expect an energy resource to work perfectly when conditions are perfect. But what happens when conditions are not perfect? You still need that energy resource to be reliable. Last week, wind energy failed.

Because we did not consider winterization of our electric grid infrastructure, we had issues there as well. It is rather unconscionable that a state, such as Texas, with an abundance of energy resources, would ever find itself in this situation. That is why you always consider the “most dangerous course of action” or worst-case scenario.

Let’s be honest and stop being held hostage by the renewable energy rascals and use common sense. Our four primary means of energy for the Texas electric grid — to which 85 percent of Texans belong — should be oil, natural gas, coal, and nuclear. Just imagine what Texas could have done with that $19B in subsidies: upgrading our electric grid infrastructure and improving the three coal-fired plants that were destroyed, and building a nuclear facility.

The nine grid operators of ERCOT (Energy Reliability Council of Texas) should not have been in the position of seeing wind energy freeze and power demand rise with no recourse but to enact blackouts on Texans. That is the kinda stuff we expect from California, not Texas. Who made the decision to not require that the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the ERCOT board even reside in Texas?

We do not need any hearings, blame games, or obfuscation. All we need is for leaders to take responsibility — and not credit when they think everything is going okay — like getting a wind energy leadership award the week prior to wind energy failing Texas.

Steadfast and Loyal,

LTC Allen B. West (Ret.)

Republican Party of Texas

More Than 200 Texas Counties Asked for President’s Help, But Apparently Biden Doesn’t Think It’s That Bad
By C. Douglas Golden
Published February 22, 2021 at 8:00am

https://www.westernjournal.com/200-texas-counties-asked-presidents-help-apparently-biden-doesnt-think-bad/

According to The Dallas Morning News, the disaster declaration signed by Biden covers major population centers — the area around Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and Austin — but it’s not what Cruz, Cornyn or Texas Gov. Greg Abbott had wanted. It’s also important because the assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and other arms of government can help storm victims get back on their feet, with grants that cover things like temporary housing and home repairs.

So, what’s the reasoning behind limiting the emergency declaration?

Appearing on ABC News’ “This Week” on Sunday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said the administration decided not to declare an emergency for the entire state because it wanted to focus on the areas “hardest hit.”

Asked by host Jonathan Karl whether Abbott and Biden were “on the same page now” regarding the emergency declaration, Psaki gave the kind of non-answer answer that’s become a house specialty in the James Brady Press Briefing Room at the White House.

2017 HARVEY FLASHBACK: TRUMP VISITS TEXAS, DONATES $1M, SECURES BILLIONS IN RELIEF, MEDIA STILL TRASHED HIM
Posted by Renee Nal On February 20, 2021

https://rairfoundation.com/2017-harvey-flashback-trump-visits-texas-donates-1m-secures-billions-in-relief-media-still-trashed-him/

In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, President Trump went to Texas repeatedly, secured billons in disaster relief, served food to displaced Texans and donated $1 million dollars. But the media found a way to denigrate him anyway, bashing him for saying “Texas can handle anything” during his visit, suggesting that the President was downplaying the floods in Texas.

Contrast that with the media coverage of installed puppet Joe Biden, who called a lid at 8:00 am during this Texas deep freeze.

During his tax-payer funded snow day, Biden’s tax-payer funded handlers tweeted that Biden is generously providing impacted states taxpayer-funded “generators and supplies” and assured those impacted that he and his wife Jill will be keeping them in their prayers.

And according to http://www.msn.com/, the Supreme Court also just rejected REALPOTUS Donald Trump’s attempt to keep his tax returns out of the hands of the DemCommunist Manhattan DA’s hands.
Double “bonus” — Merrick Garland has his AG “audition hearing” before the Senate today. He’ll be quickly confirmed as the new AG.

I’m beginning to think the whole SCOTUS -except for Thomas and Alito – isn’t much better!

pgroup2

It’s starting to look like DJT might have just left with little or no consideration for the suffering his base would endure.

It’s obvious (to me) that whatever plan might have existed was not up to the quality level of his reputation as a construction tycoon.

I can say with no hesitation that DJT dropped the ball on the immigration issue, whether it is the law on illegals or the wall.

I do not understand why the Keystone XL pipeline construction was not finished or at least under contract so that it cannot be stopped arbitrarily.

I could go on but that’s enough for now. The ending to XVII’s movie is a failure. I’d just as soon that DJT just enjoy his life quietly instead of giving speeches at CPAC (RINO infested group that it is). It was nice while it lasted but now it’s time to figure out how to survive the commie takeover of the USA.

gil00

Its pretty bad. Wait for the disappearing people in the night.

Exactly. And we are seeing defectors left and right. People tired of trying to prop up the crepe hangers on our own side. Those for whom “seeing is believing” who just won’t accept that the fight in the USA is ONE of several chess boards going at once. The division is happening and it’s mostly due to the human condition.

singingsoul1

I do not blame Trump either. I am still supporting him. We are not helpless creatures who need to be taken care off by daddy.

kalbokalbs

I can say with no hesitation that DJT dropped the ball on the immigration issue, whether it is the law on illegals or the wall.

^^^ Seriously? Guessing I missed the sarcasm angle. Can’t imagine what else President Trump have done

^^^ When the entire cabal, UniParty is against MAGA, it is, IMO, impossible to accomplish more than president Trump did.

—-

I do not understand why the Keystone XL pipeline construction was not finished or at least under contract so that it cannot be stopped arbitrarily.

^^^ Processes were streamlined greatly, IIRC. court cases slowed things. Betting a whole lot of pipeline was constructed, more under contract…

If I am not mistaken, The Wall was “stopped arbitraily”. AS WAS THE Keystone pipeline, “stopped arbitrarily”.

ZERO blame on President Trump. The ENTIRE DECK has been stacked against President Trump ans Americans.

Last edited 3 years ago by kalbokalbs
pgroup2

Blame? No. I’m talking about keeping people thinking that there was a grand plan that was going to fix a lot of the crap, when it’s obvious there was no plan like that. How about this – why not release to the public all those ILLEGALLY classified records from 2017 forward? It is quite likely that they will now be destroyed or modified and therefore useless as evidence.

As far as court orders go, there is a case to be made (according to Justice Thomas) that fed district court judges lack jurisdiction to boss around the executive branch with restraining orders since they are statutory courts (Marbury v Madison is a SCOTUS ruling, and does not apply). Those orders should have been ignored with a POTUS address to the nation and a counter-lawsuit filed.

There are too many missed opportunities (with several ways to exploit each of them) to be explained with 5D chess references.

We need to be real. DJT was a God send. He is not able to help us any more except via peripheral moves. Since direct authority was insufficient to get any of the job done, I have no real expectation that peripheral moves will do it.

IMO.

RF121

Well we found out the President has no authority if the bureaucrats decide not to execute his orders. This is also why term limits won’t work. It is not just the politicians voted in, it is all the staffers who have been there for 20 plus year who are truly running the show. They just ensure the money flows to the politicians so they just shut up and enjoy the ride.

The swamp is way deeper then anyone realized and President Trump truly exposed all of that.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Yup. I myself will no longer work through this corrupt system.

The Chimerican government is corrupt beyond self-redemption.

RF121

Which makes having Biden really dangerous. He clearly has no clue what is going on. The court eunuchs’ are just having him sign stuff and if things go totally side ways he gets all the blame anyway. No one gets held accountable at all.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Yup. Obama runs America without any of the blame.

Tonawanda

The sticking point about what you say is the President’s way of handling it.

If the Byrne article is to be believed (and in relevant part I DO believe) then VSG was totally aware of the game.

We made false inferences. And the President acted the only way he could, being inside the system. He did not crush hope.

MAGA Mom

So much to say in reply to this post but no time except:

“I do not understand why the Keystone XL pipeline construction was not finished or at least under contract so that it cannot be stopped arbitrarily.”

It was under contract, just as SW border projects were under contract … they were still stopped.

Much of the pipeline was completed under President Trump. What was not completed and was stopped was phase 4.

https://abcnews.go.com/Health/wireStory/piece-disputed-keystone-xl-pipeline-finished-70814560

Part of the problem with Many of the assumptions and “conclusions” in your comment is that you are Vastly overestimating what 1 man in the office of POTUS can do. He and his admin did much to streamline the process, to move it forward, etc., but putting all the Hope in one man, in one office, is naive or foolsih or both.

https://www.latimes.com/business/story/2020-07-06/supreme-court-keystone-xl-oil-pipeline-project

pgroup2

They were stopped VOLUNTARILY. They read the news and behaved like good little sheep even though they had a contract which could not be altered without a court order.

Over-estimating what one man can do? Bring peace to the Middle East doesn’t tell me what one man can do? Just who gave me the idea that ‘one man’ could do things? Why, … that would be DJT himself.

MAGA Mom

No, President Trump did not bring peace to the ME by himself. He had trusted advisers, including & especially his son in law, as well as Secretary Pompeo who worked with him on this.

On many issues he did not have trusted advisers and representatives to follow through on policy – esp. in the DOJ and its FBI + “intelligence” agencies. Even the State Dept. did not get as cleaned out as he (and we) would have liked.

And, No, President Trump NEVER implied he could do it all by himself. He said the things he would do all he could do on and he expected the GOP in Congress and the GOP base to do our part.

One man can not do it all. And he never claimed he could.

People ascribed superhuman powers to him and created all incompassing explainations and projections but he did not.

64 D chess? He can plan ahead and stragetize like few others but he also has the gift of mental agility and the ability to bounce back quickly. As events unfold he can assess and reassess, making new plans, seeing the upside quickly as he pushes forward.

Gingersmom2009

As I said earlier . . . ordinary people gave testimony, signed affidavits under penalty of perjury. At great risk. Lindell spent millions to put out the information and is being sued, Lin Wood is being sued, Sidney Powell is being sued. People are trying to fight this, because they realize it’s over if allowed to stand.

No one wants to hear another rally speech. No one cares if he believes he’s the head of the GOP. The GOP is crap, for the most part. All this primary talk and 2022/24 talk is just a way for the people who are still engaged to put reality in a shoebox on a shelf, while trying to conjure up some phony hope. You’ll never win another election.

Many cannot and will not entertain your ideas properly here.

Concerned Virginian

It would appear that the Supreme Court has just erased the 9th and 10th Amendments to the Constitution.
It would also appear that CJ John Roberts, who most likely got his “marching orders” to deny the cases, passed his “orders” to Kavanaugh, Coney Barrett, and Breyer: thus the conclusion that only Alito, Gorsuch, and Thomas fulfilled their Oaths to defend and protect the Constitution of the United States.
I disagree with Justice Thomas’ statement that “the refusal to do so is inexplicable” regarding the denial of the cert petitions.

TheseTruths

They should be impeached, but the Leftist Senate would acquit them.

Tonawanda

Translation: when Thomas said “inexplicable,” he was saying “totally explicable.”

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Yup. “Inexplicable by honest application of law and duty.”

Linda Harrison

What we need is a plan and a way to execute it. If we could get enough of our 78 million to change to the “D” party we could start doing recalls on their candidates and we could potentially have enough votes to execute the plan. We could do to them what they do to us. They have “our” seats in congress and senate. Could also help with social media too.

I wonder if this could also help the people who were at the Capitol on 1/6. They had a change of heart.

We would have close to 2 years before we need to turn into “R”s again.

Leave people like MAGAmom in place to work the “R” side.

I think what they are doing is not law or constitution but what they think is in the best interest of the country. Our Supreme Court Judges are globalists. No other explanation.

give ammunition to those who believe Trump was lying when he said the election was stolen

What’s so frustrating is how obvious it is that the election was stolen. We all know it. Even the Left knows it. We’ve already had a travesty with O in office, unqualified and usurping it. Now they want to NOT correct this election. It gives power to criminals to run the country as they wish, but also to completely take over. When you control who wins elections, you have all the power.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday paved the way for a New York City prosecutor to obtain President Donald Trump’s tax returns and other financial records as part of a criminal investigation.

The justices rebuffed Trump’s request to put on hold an Oct. 7 lower court ruling directing the former Republican president’s longtime accounting firm, Mazars USA, to comply with a subpoena to turn over the materials to a grand jury convened by Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance, a Democrat.

Universities’ Insane COVID Rules and Snitch Culture Are Training the Next Generation to Embrace Totalitarianism
The societal effects of the university COVID power grab will be felt when students leave college and enter the workforce.
Evita Duffy by Evita Duffy February 9, 2021

https://thechicagothinker.com/university-administrators-need-to-stop-infantilizing-college-students-with-communist-covid-rules/

If you think state and federal government COVID-19 policies are too restrictive, you haven’t been to a college campus lately. Schools across the country have imposed extreme, micromanaging rules on 19-22 year olds—a demographic more likely to die from the seasonal flu and pneumonia than COVID.

Paying top dollar at already overpriced institutions for vastly inferior remote learning, university students remain unnecessarily isolated and barred from using the services and facilities they and their families are paying for.

Many schools, like Southern Methodist University, forbid students from having guests in their dorm rooms. Others have even installed security cameras in the hallways aimed at residents’ doors to monitor adherence.

Most institutions have isolation dorms or, as some students call them, “isolation prisons,” where students who test positive for COVID are forced to live alone for two weeks (sound familiar?).

Oh, you are quite the entrepreneur, Butterfly!!! So proud of you for fighting it out – I can only imagine the crowds at the home stores – that is so sad – if PT was in charge – none of this would have happened – and yet – I have great hope – he will fix it good.

I am distressed FEMA was not there – however – it may be they cannot act right now – until the dust settles – or something allows them to take the upper hand – also – if the military is in charge – why didn’t they come to the rescue?

So many questions – so few answers – if this is a move – it is a horror flick for sure!!!

After 20 Years in Politics, Here Are 20 Pieces of Political Advice for Conservatives
by John Hawkins Posted: February 21, 2021

https://bongino.com/after-20-years-in-politics-here-are-20-pieces-of-political-advice-for-conservatives

1) The slippery slope: Usually, when conservatives predict that we may be going down a slippery slope, we turn out to be right, and if anything, we usually end up underselling it. Whether you are talking about spending, gay marriage, Obamacare, statues, immigration, or anything else, if you give an inch, the Left will take a mile and end up doing every single thing they swear up and down on a stack of Bibles that they would never do.

2) Until you understand this, you don’t understand politicians: “No one will really understand politics until they understand that politicians are not trying to solve our problems. They are trying to solve their own problems — of which getting elected and re-elected are No. 1 and No. 2. Whatever is No. 3 is far behind.” — Thomas Sowell

3) Politics is a racket: One of my favorite philosophers is Eric Hoffer and he was right when he said, “Every great cause begins as a movement, becomes a business, and eventually degenerates into a racket.” It sounds cynical, but if you want to understand why the PACs, the news organizations, the talking heads, the consultants, and the politicians do what they do and say what they say, assume it has to do with money and you’ll be right most of the time. The sheer amount of money that flows into politics without accomplishing anything other than making some hack’s wallet fatter is almost beyond belief.

4) Culture matters: Like the late, great Andrew Breitbart famously said, “Politics is downstream from culture.” If you have a culture with a withered Christian church, that lauds abortion, celebrates drag queen story hours, and teaches people that America is a bad place to live and its Founding Fathers are evil because they weren’t woke liberals, what do you think the politicians that come out of that culture are going to be like? Where do you think the Overton Window is going to be for what they can possibly do? If your culture is a toilet, you can’t expect politics to be anything other than a sewer.

5) My 80% friend: Ronald Reagan once said that, “My eighty-percent friend is not my twenty-percent enemy.” It needed to be said because conservatives have a horrible tendency to viciously crap all over people who mostly agree with them and it regularly ends up badly hurting the Republican Party.

6) This country is going to go broke: Our debt situation is orders of magnitude worse than people think it is, yet there is very little pressure on Washington to reduce spending. What that means is that we are going broke, Social Security and Medicare are not going to be there in their current form, probably for even middle-aged Americans, and all the “elites” will just move somewhere else. If you aren’t one of the people rich enough to do that, buy guns, start learning to prep and plan accordingly for the complete havoc that will ensue when the U.S. government can’t pay its bills.

7) Post-persuasion America: We are in what Jeff Deist calls, “post persuasion” America. Most people believe things today because their “tribe” tells them to, not because of logic, proof, or good arguments. There aren’t many open-minded people or original thinkers left and trying to “logic” the others out of the position they adopted because of emotion and tribalism usually turns out to be pointless. What that means in Jeff Deist’s words is that politics is now more “about mobilization rather than persuasion.” That doesn’t mean persuasion is pointless, just that in and of itself, it isn’t enough.

8) We don’t need a new law: The problem is almost never that we don’t have a law, it’s either that we aren’t following laws that have already been passed or some other law has created a problem that liberals want to solve with a new law.

9) When to really look out: Whenever Republicans and Democrats come together and cooperate to pass a bill, usually during an “emergency,” you can be 100% sure that it’s going to waste an incredible amount of money or be really bad for the country.

10) The media is worse than it ever has been: Between social media, the rise of conspiracy theories, the rapid deterioration of the mainstream media, and the corporate, profit-oriented takeover of the news business, there is no way for the average person to get accurate news about the world anymore. Most of the information you hear is propaganda, heavily slanted, or just plain wrong. How we get back to news people can trust, I don’t know.

11) Politics 101: The first thing you need to do as a politician is keep your base happy and then after that’s done, you can feel free to reach out to independents in ways that won’t aggravate your supporters. Republicans often forget this rule, but Democrats never do.

12) Style vs. principle: The great Thomas Jefferson once said, “In matters of style, swim with the current; in matters of principle, stand like a rock.” Don’t give up your principles, but don’t feel like you have to do things as they have always been done or stick with the same stale agenda either. The country and the world changes on a regular basis and your ideology should address those changes to stay relevant.

13) If there are enough people buying, someone will be selling: It doesn’t matter if you want to hear that lizard people rule the earth or that George Bush is going to combine America with Canada and Mexico, if there are enough people that want to hear a message, someone will rise up to give up, whether it’s true, false, sane, nuts, or anywhere in-between. Be very careful that you don’t become the embodiment of that verse from 2 Timothy 4:
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”

14) A conservative third party is doomed to fail: The establishment conservatives and the grassroots conservatives need each other to succeed and the more the establishment types forget that, the more the grassroots conservatives want to start a third party. If grassroots conservatives can’t even take over the Republican Party, why would anyone think they could create and maintain a successful third party that would be ideologically less competitive than the GOP in blue and even many purple districts? At the end of the day, you don’t win elections by splitting your vote, you win elections by gathering all your supporters together and finding a way to add more people.

15) Don’t ever, ever, ever…: apologize to an online mob that only wants your scalp. They will use your apology as evidence that they were right to persecute you and redouble their efforts while you grovel even more without effect. Instead, be completely shameless, laugh in their face, and don’t back up one inch. The people that do the best in the face of these mobs never back down.

16) The nature of liberals: There is almost nothing a liberal is incapable of doing if you don’t have some kind of figurative stick to hit them with. Liberals don’t care about human decency, intellectual honesty, morality, the good of the country, the results of their programs, or the Constitution. What they do understand and care about is, “This may have negative consequences for me or liberalism.” Remember that and act accordingly.

17) Having a moral, decent, well-mannered populace matters far more than most people realize. Maybe more than anything else: “A general dissolution of principles and manners will more surely overthrow the liberties of America than the whole force of the common enemy. While the people are virtuous they cannot be subdued; but when once they lose their virtue then will be ready to surrender their liberties to the first external or internal invader.” — Samuel Adams, 1779

18) Government is a necessary evil, not a good: The bigger the government gets, the smaller the economy becomes, the more people become dependent on it, the less freedom you have, the more problems it causes, and the worse off we all are. Our government does not solve problems, it masks problems while creating new ones in their place at the cost of a staggering amount of money. Dig into the worst problems America has and at their root, you will almost always find things the government has done that created the problems in the first place.

19) What’s radical for liberals today will be mainstream tomorrow: Because of the obsessive need for liberals to top each other in virtue signaling just how compassionate, sensitive, and racially aware they are, they are now prone to radically shift their positions to the Left in fairly short time periods. What that means is that many of the craziest ideas on the liberal fringes today will be relatively popular on the Left in 5 years and will be the position of the Democratic Party in 10-12 years. If you don’t buy that, look how many orders of magnitude crazier the mainstream positions of the Democrats are today than they were just 12 years ago when Barack Obama was first elected.

20) Fix immigration or nothing else matters: The Democrats have rigged our entire immigration system in a way so that it’s set on autopilot to increase their number of voters every year. They bring in people from socialist countries, encourage them to use our welfare programs, and not to assimilate. Then, those voters go heavily for Democrats. Ultimately, either this issue gets fixed or we lose on every other issue because the country is being deliberately demographically overwhelmed with people that are heavily predisposed to vote Democrat.

This is a great list of ‘what is’ – I disagree with # 6 – we are not going broke – we are already broke – that is – the corporation is bankrupt.

The Federal Reserve is a private bank – not part of the US Government – PT and Mnuchin were in the process of ‘draining’ the FR of its ill-gotten assets – IRS interest payments – and profits from various other nefarious activities.

If, in fact, the US is bankrupt – from where did they get the money for the CARES ACT? From the Federal Reserve.

When the FR is audited – and it will be – either before or after it goes belly-up – we will all know how they have squandered our tax dollars since 1913 – and funneled our hard-earned money to other enterprises – some very evil.

Have been attending to family matters all day…

A summary reading so far, but just want to say…

Too few peeps here even know what they’re talking about wrt SCOTUS…

Need to cool your jets so to speak and read what peeps WHO do know what they’re talking about have to say.

No. 1, I have never thought the Supreme Court was going to reverse The Steal in any manner whatsoever. When Cue, and even POTUS has said the Military is the only option, that is what they meant.

The SCOTUS rules on Law, not elections. The SCOTUS decision in 2000 is a reminder everyday to Justices that they should NOT be involved in questions of election fraud.

Moving on Feisty has some explanation on matters so far, and I will be looking for comments from others in the know.

We must never forget that the current Congress is as illegitimate as the pResident is.
The Senate cannot vote anyone Attorney General… there is no existing legal government, we are experiencing DEVOLUTION. That’s a fact, not a theory.

Aubergine

I commend you for your ability to “cool your jets” and look for explanations. I have been holding my fire on most everything regarding the 2020 national election and its aftermath, because I don’t feel like I know a damned thing. We did what we could; it is now in other people’s hands.

phoenixrising

Exactly Aubergine… we did what we could and now we must stand with POTUS. If we are wrong, and Civil War does arise, well then, again, we do what we can. Looking back in hisory, this is almost a re-run of Lincoln’s struggle to keep the Union together, except that the whole of humanity did not appear to be threatened as it is now. And the episode with “Spanish Flu” seems to be happenin’ again, under a different label, with even more psychopaths in power. It will not be easy or painless… early Christians had much more hardships. We must keep undermining the Media and Social Media… they have the megaphone… our country is NOT divided, they make it ‘appear’ so… we must destroy the illusion.

Deplorable Patriot

I agree with this after listening to the one voice I think is right in all of it, even if so many others don’t.

The reality is that the cases brought to the courts are brought by people no demonstrating material damage to them. What was really necessary to get things rolling was the Ratcliff report that was slow-walked through the intelligence agencies eating up time before the inauguration. That being the case, the military could not do an assessment of foreign interference in the election. That’s been done. There’s no denying it. Multiple nations, led by England, actually, were in on the steal. THAT being the case, the military is more or less in control, but for optics reasons, they’re letting the show go on.

And…all the analysis of the video of Biden getting on “Air Force One” and the White House lights being on a timer that goes off at 11 pm, and the changing face of Joe Biden, etc., are all on target.

That there are those who choose not to see doesn’t change all that.

Justice Thomas: SCOTUS Refusal to Hear Pennsylvania Election Cases Is ‘Inexplicable’
February 22, 2021
Written by Martin Walsh

https://conservativebrief.com/refusal-to-35625/

The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 to reject the review of two 2020 Pennsylvania presidential election cases Monday, but Justices Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, and Clarence Thomas believe they should have been given hearings.

In his dissent, Justice Thomas argued mass mail-in voting, which was conducted in Pennsylvania for the first time ahead of the 2020 presidential election in November, combined with election rules being rewritten last minute, makes the process prone to fraud and mistrust.

“The Constitution gives to each state legislature authority to determine the ‘Manner’ of federal elections…Yet both before and after the 2020 election, nonlegislative officials in various States took it upon themselves to set the rules instead. As a result, we received an unusually high number of petitions and emergency applications contesting those changes. The petitions here present a clear example. The Pennsylvania Legislature established an unambiguous deadline for receiving mail-in ballots: 8 p.m. on election day,” Thomas wrote.

“Dissatisfied, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court extended that deadline by three days. The court also ordered officials to count ballots received by the new deadline even if there was no evidence—such as a postmark—that the ballots were mailed by election day. That decision to rewrite the rules seems to have affected too few ballots to change the outcome of any federal election. But that may not be the case in the future. These cases provide us with an ideal opportunity to address just what authority nonlegislative officials have to set election rules and to do so well before the next election cycle. The refusal to do so is inexplicable.”

“One wonders what this Court waits for. We failed to settle this dispute before the election and thus provide clear rules. Now we again fail to provide clear rules for future elections. The decision to leave election law hidden beneath a shroud of doubt is baffling. By doing nothing, we invite further confusion and erosion of voter confidence. Our fellow citizens deserve better and expect more of us,” he continued.

Deplorable Patriot

Put that way, though, what Thomas hints at is the court not just saying certain laws are unconstitutional, but that the court would have a role in rewriting them. None of us wan that, either.

TheseTruths

Need to cool your jets so to speak and read what peeps WHO do know what they’re talking about have to say.

I would love to see a summary in layman’s terms. I don’t understand what Feisty Cat is saying.

We must never forget that the current Congress is as illegitimate as the pResident is.

The Senate cannot vote anyone Attorney General… there is no existing legal government, we are experiencing DEVOLUTION. That’s a fact, not a theory.

With all due respect, I don’t see this making any difference. The current illegitimate congress and president will continue to act illegitimately until someone stops them. The Senate will approve Garland as AG, and he will begin serving in that position, just as Biden is now in the WH and destroying the country as I write.

O was not a legitimate president either. We knew his birth certificate was fake, and yet he was in office 8 years. No one stopped him.

So even if the facts are on our side, if there is no one to stand up for the Constitution and the rule of law, the usurpers will continue to act.

They have to be stopped, but there doesn’t appear to be anyone stopping them. Facts and theories alone won’t do it.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Entirely correct.

Our knowledge of the fraud alone won’t do jack shit to fix things. It’s not a magic wand. Someone, who is part of the fraudulent judicial system, must acknowledge the fraud and act accordingly. We are outside the system.

We can agree that RobberJoe and both chambers of Congress are illegitimate as H3ll. Therefore it would seem that every piece of paper that RobberJoe signs and every “law” passed by this Congress is also illegitimate. But RobberJoe’s handlers told him to sign a declaration of emergency order for only 77 of the 200+ counties in Texas that their governor requested aid tor. What about the millions of people who need to use insulin and the price has skyrocketed back up due to RobberJoe signing another illegitimate piece of paper?
I am honestly dumbfounded and confused.

To Fight White Supremacy, Coca-Cola Discontinues Vanilla Coke
February 20th, 2021

https://babylonbee.com/news/to-fight-white-supremacy-coca-cola-discontinues-vanilla-coke
comment image

ATLANTA, GA—To fight white supremacy, Coca-Cola has discontinued its controversial product Vanilla Coke, saying it is “too white” and must be dismantled as part of the company’s continued emphasis on eliminating whiteness from society.

All varieties of Vanilla Coke, from Cherry Vanilla and Orange Vanilla to Vanilla Vanilla, will be pulled from shelves as part of Coca-Cola’s push to lessen whiteness.

“We now recognize that our Vanilla Coke product perpetuates whiteness in a racist, problematic society and harms our efforts to make people less white,” said a Coca-Cola executive Friday. “Anything with even a hint of whiteness must be eliminated. We now realize that we were, in fact, part of the problem all along as we promoted the alt right-adjacent flavor of ‘vanilla.'”

“We will do better,” he said before resigning, canceling and doxing himself, and banishing himself to a remote island in the Caribbean to think about his whiteness.

Chocolate Coke will replace the “toxic, problematic” product, and drinking it will, of course, be mandatory.

How the Editor of the Chronicle of Philanthropy Colluded in the SPLC’s Dangerous Blacklist
The character assassins of cancel culture come for the David Horowitz Freedom Center.

Mon Feb 22, 2021 Daniel Greenfield

https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/2021/02/how-editor-chronicle-philanthropy-colluded-splcs-daniel-greenfield/

. . . The current issue of the Chronicle of Philanthropy hit piece falsely attacked the David Horowitz Freedom Center as well as other longtime targets of the SPLC like the Family Research Council whose building had been shot up by a leftwing terrorist guided by the SPLC’s so-called ‘hate map’.

Even though the Chronicle of Philanthropy’s mission is supposed to be covering the nonprofit world, its story about the Center and a “cabal” of other conservative organizations passed on the SPLC’s smears without informing its readers about the discredited organization’s recent scandal. The scandal had toppled the SPLC’s leadership over racism and sexism charges, and a $3 million payout for falsely accusing a devout but anti-jihadist Muslim of being “anti-Muslim”

. . . Under longtime editor, Stacy Palmer, the Chronicle of Philanthropy isn’t chronicling non-profits – otherwise how could it miss the SPLC scandal? Instead it was busy joining the cancel fascists in their effort to destroy the politically incorrect by smearing them as hatemongers and hate groups.

Meanwhile, the Southern Poverty Law Center, which actually is hateful, gets a pass.

Even the Washington Post ran a column titled, “The Southern Poverty Law Center has lost all credibility”, but the Chronicle of Philanthropy can’t wait to join the SPLC in the credibility graveyard.

When the Southern Poverty Law Center’s founder, Morris Dees, was fired over allegations of racism and sexism, the Chronicle mentioned it briefly under a roundup of new leaders headlined, “Caterpillar Foundation and Girls Inc. Announce New Presidents.”

There was a very good reason for that.

. . . Character assassination has replaced journalism throughout what was once the media world of liberal journalism. No more. It is now a transmission belt for the real hatemongers of America, the fascist left that intends to deploy its hate to silence every voice that opposes it.

para59r

Just a quick note on David Horowitz. He was one of the very few telling us our rising Covid numbers that began to rise in the Southern States back in May, June and July were actually coming from Mexico and Medical tourism from South America.

Trump Goes OFF After SCOTUS Orders Release Of Tax Returns
February 22, 2021
Written by Martin Walsh

https://conservativebrief.com/goes-off-35645/

The Supreme Court issued a shocking statement on Monday ordering President Donald Trump to releases financial and tax records to prosecutors in New York.

Trump responded in a lengthy statement, calling the ruling “a continuation of the greatest political Witch Hunt in the history of our Country.”

Trump’s full statement is below:

This investigation is a continuation of the greatest political Witch Hunt in the history of our Country, whether it was the never-ending $32 million Mueller hoax, which already investigated everything that could possibly be investigated, “Russia Russia Russia,” where there was a finding of “No Collusion,” or two ridiculous “Crazy Nancy” inspired impeachment attempts where I was found NOT GUILTY. It just never ends!

So now, for more than two years, New York City has been looking at almost every transaction I’ve ever done, including seeking tax returns which were done by among the biggest and most prestigious law and accounting firms in the U.S. The Tea Party was treated far better by the IRS than Donald Trump.

The Supreme Court never should have let this “fishing expedition” happen, but they did. This is something which has never happened to a President before, it is all Democrat-inspired in a totally Democrat location, New York City and State, completely controlled and dominated by a heavily reported enemy of mine, Governor Andrew Cuomo.

These are attacks by Democrats willing to do anything to stop the almost 75 million people (the most votes, by far, ever gotten by a sitting president) who voted for me in the election—an election which many people, and experts, feel that I won. I agree!

The new phenomenon of “headhunting” prosecutors and AGs—who try to take down their political opponents using the law as a weapon—is a threat to the very foundation of our liberty.

That’s what is done in third world countries. Even worse are those who run for prosecutorial or attorney general offices in far-left states and jurisdictions pledging to take out a political opponent.

That’s fascism, not justice—and that is exactly what they are trying to do with respect to me, except that the people of our Country won’t stand for it.

In the meantime, murders and violent crime are up in New York City by record numbers, and nothing is done about it. Our elected officials don’t care.

All they focus on is the persecution of President Donald J. Trump.

I will fight on, just as I have, for the last five years (even before I was successfully elected), despite all of the election crimes that were committed against me. We will win!

GA/FL

It’s the left’s &%$#@! LAWFARE!

These blood-thirsty ungodly abortionpansexpervertpedo fiends are using accusations and lawsuits as weapons against a political opponent.

They want to destroy President Trump and his family politically, financially, emotionally, physically.

Merrick Garland doesn’t promise to protect Durham investigation or release report
by Jerry Dunleavy, Justice Department Reporter |  | February 22, 2021 10:52 AM

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/grassley-garland-durham-investigation

President Biden’s pick for attorney general didn’t directly promise to protect special counsel John Durham’s investigation nor to make his report public, saying he would need to speak with the federal prosecutor before making a decision, though he said he didn’t currently have reason to think it wasn’t the right move to keep Durham on.

Not to get too excited, but let’s put it this way. Durham was promoted to a position of special counsel, similar to Robert Mueller.

Trump never interfered with Robert Mueller, even though the Keystone Kops were doing everything they could to trip him up. Trump knew that interfering was a TRAP.

SC Durham leaves the Biden regime in a similar pickle.

Do they let Durham continue to his work and wait for the investigation time bomb to explode? Hint: They already know what the did.

Or, do they try to interfere with Durham and violate the conditions normally afforded to the SC?

If they do the latter, then it begs the question that if they were trying to get Trump on interference with the SC, does interfering with Durham open the Pandora’s Box of Biden interference into the SC?

This would be the question as to whether the Durham investigation, after gathering a lot of evidence and promoted to SC, is now itself a baited trap for Biden.

Linda

Yes, but who would be left to prosecute the criminals, even if Durham continues? With the way things are right now, none of them could ever be prosecuted.

Rosa

If you can steal an election and get away with it, why would you worry about shutting down a special counsel?

REVEALED: Parler’s New CEO Wants Convention That Would Let George Soros Rewrite The Constitution
https://nationalfile.com/revealed-parlers-new-ceo-wants-convention-that-would-let-george-soros-rewrite-the-constitution/

Meckler, who was appointed as interim CEO of Parler following the removal of founder John Matze, currently runs the Convention of States Project, a supposed “grassroots” organization pushing for a convention under Article V of the Constitution.

The project describes itself as a “national effort to call a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress,” which initially sounds appealing.

However, a report by the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities argued that such a restriction on an Article V convention would be impossible, with states unable to control what a convention could and could not discuss, and nobody else having clear constitutional control over the convention.

This guy is only an interim CEO, but still…I don’t know what’s going on at Parler, but I wish Dan Bongino would get out of there.

Sauce

There is a lot of bogus info regarding the article V convention of States…maybe on both sides….a lot a legacy resistance to it here because SD was against it.

Mark Levin supports it and I believe he has a better handle on the Constitution than SD

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I bought Mark Levin’s book full of proposed amendments.

They all had poison pills in them. I don’t trust him any farther than I can throw him.

My opposition to a CoS has nothing to do with SD. I saw from the beginning how fraught with peril it was. I don’t trust anyone today to lay a finger on the Constitution, including Mark Levin. Levin was an admitted NeverTrumper before he turned around, and I think he believes someone born in Canada to a non-USA-citizen father is a natural born citizen of the USA.

EXCLUSIVE: Anti-racism training forced upon San Diego County healthcare workers
by Tori Richards | February 22, 2021 02:36 PM

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/critical-race-theory-training-racism-san-diego-county-healthcare-workers

Government employees in San Diego County are being forced to undergo lectures that claim only white people can be racist, according to staff who say the training is taking away from their efforts to battle COVID-19 and a homelessness epidemic.

The Health & Human Services Agency required employees to spend six hours watching the online racism course, a training participant told the Washington Examiner. Critical Race Theory classes taught participants “Racism is a WHITE” problem, and, “Only white people can be racist.” The title of the course is ‘Power and Privilege.’

“This training is lumping people into groups, and it has not explained how some (minority) individuals have succeeded in this systemically racist country — like Barack Obama, NBA/NFL players who make millions, Dr. Ben Carson, Oprah, and Whoopi Goldberg, to name a few,” the employee said. The Washington Examiner is not identifying the employee, who asked to remain anonymous over fears of retaliation.

The employee claims that instructor Reggie Caldwell told participants, “Only white people can be racist, no other BIPOC’s (Black, Indian, and people of color) can be racist.”

I’m convinced that headlines about “gender reveal parties” causing everything from multiple bomb explosions to massive wildfires is some kind of code. If I had to guess, it’s probably a cover for domestic terrorism incidents.

Yep. And the reason the NIH HAD to pay for embryonic stem cell research is that after 60+ years, and BILLIONS invested, the private money dried up. So the ghouls went to the government. Fortunately, GWB was president at the time and he did not go whole hog on funding the industry. Obama did.

I’m a library and arts girl. I believe both are vital for societal harmony and beneficial to learning, and community cohesion, but why would this be in the COVID relief bill, and what is nested under the line item? More “public art” a la the discussion today at Marica’s place?

Last edited 3 years ago by Deplorable Patriot
michaelh

Public art is art funded by govt ie taxpayers. Leftists love it. One of de Blasio’s plans for his “vision” for a new NYC back when his term as mayor was still in honeymoon phase was to promote more public art. I think City Journal had more to say about it at the time.

In usual fashion, taxpayers aren’t given a choice about what kind of “art” is being made.

If you are lucky, it’s just some generic modern art. But often a lot goes to theatrical activities and glorifies the sensual, degraded, or just plain evil.

They provide “jobs” for leftist activists.

The majority of it is blatant leftist propaganda. Leftist artists know who butters their bread.

The Arts should not be politicized.

Getting the govt $$$ out of the arts and requiring them to be donor supported is a critical step along those lines.

Deplorable Patriot

Dude, you know I’m in the arts, right?

The arts have been politicized for hundreds of years. Opera alone has been politicized since the early 18th century. Just Mozart’s Die Zauberfloete (The Magic Flute) alone is political, along with the French plays on which The Barber of Seville and the Marriage of FIgaro are based. It’s been that way forever.

The late 19th and early 20th century in theater, Irish, English and American, was HIGHLY about social engineering.

Actual outdoor art…it’s hit and miss. There’s a local university that has a class in outdoor art, and the students actually do put their projects on public display, and my municipality as well as one adjacent muni, has bought several of the offerings. Personally, I don’t have a problem with any of them. They aren’t objectionable at all, IMO.

Gig workers, i.e., the band providing tunes at the bar on Friday and Saturday nights, OTOH, are just looking to pay the bills. Frequently, they’re cover bands. That was more my point.

singingsoul1

Donor support used to be the thing. Rich people like Gates , Zuckerberg, and bozo used to donate towards the arts. We used to be members of the Chicago Metropolitan Art Museum , to Symphony and St Louise botanical Garden. Since we do not get any longer to Chicago and St Louise we stopped. We now support other things that we care about.

singingsoul1

This is a covid relieve bill for small businesses and individuals affected by the closing of our businesses.
I am all for arts and museum but in the past it has been supported by oligarchs. Now they use their money to destroy instead build up.
Yes we too need to support some of that. Libraries on campuses are slowly dying because everything is being offered on Internet. I think sadly books will be of the past .

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Nothing that will solve these problems with “guest” accounts. All the “help” is designed for either site registration or WordPressDotCom acounts.

These problems are like nothing we’ve dealt with before.

The people these problems are affecting are not going to switch to registered or WP accounts, despite the fact that there is no real difference in the information given.

Gudthots

Okay, so what is new is guests, people without accounts registered to TQT site are getting blocked in a way that they were not blocked before. AND site lag times around 3AM Eastern have become problematic (maybe an Epik back up effect).

Can we rule out JetPack as the source of the issues?

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Nope! WordPressDotCom changes JetPack only occasionally, but they change their back end ALL THE TIME – constantly. Since we log in using their authentication mechanism, I cannot even guarantee that their code is not screwing with guest logins.

We are stuck between paradigms, and suffering the risks of both.

I do sometimes mess up my email address – typos, esp. when awake in the night and can’t sleep but not as awake as I think I am! ha Or when multitasking (homeschooling) or when not well & on bedrest. Pain can destract one as much as sleepiness.

However, earlier this week it was not that I was messing up.

Kept getting the message, something like “please fill in all required fields” (that isn’t it exactly, but something like that).

I tried several different things and even tried to do a search on the issue. Couldn’t figure it out.

Finally, give in and created an account. Been smooth sailing ever since. Now I have the “cute chipmunk” status which I really like as I haven’t been called “cute” for Years! 😂

(I miss the days when I would automatically get whistles when I walked down the street! and to think today’s young women don’t like the compliment … I don’t get that one!)

Anyway, that is what I did to solve the problem I was having.

Had left a message at utree but it has been inactive for months and months. Checked back while trouble shooting and then didn’t think to go back after I figured it out.

Never dreamed it was a problem others were having as I thought it was tech challenged me. Sorry I left some hanging when I could have let others know.

I know many have been waiting on me to comment about the actions (or inaction) by the U.S. Supreme Court today in the 2020 election cases.

I will not mince words, We The People who seek honest elections conducted under the rule of law lost. The enemy won.

Having spoken that truth, the Dissenting Opinion of Justice Clarence Thomas validates and confirms that the lawsuits pursued by Sidney Powell and me were based on legitimate issues of law. All accusations and proceedings seeking to penalize or “discipline” Sidney and me should be terminated as we raised important issues in those case recognized by Justice Thomas. I agree with his Dissent. His rationale in the Pennsylvania is directly on point with my Georgia case and Sidney’s cases in Michigan and Wisconsin.

But this legal battle is not about Sidney and me. It is about you and your right to rely on the rule of law, especially on the bedrock principle that we must have honest and legal elections.

I remain very concerned about the breakdown of the rule of law in our country.

I will not quit. As I have done in the past, so I will continue to do in the future. I will continued to exercise my right of free speech and my right to take lawful actions in courts and/or administrative proceedings to recognize and re-establish the rule of law in America.

Bari Weiss on the warpath . . .

10 ways to fight back against woke culture
By Bari Weiss January 31, 2021 | 10:05pm

https://nypost.com/2021/01/31/10-ways-to-fight-back-against-woke-culture/

It’s time to stand up and fight back. That means you. . . Start with the following 10 principles:

1. Remind yourself, right now, of the following truth: You are free.
It’s true that we live in an upside-down time in which pressing the “like” button on the wrong thing can bring untold consequences. But giving in to those who seek to confine you only hurts you in the long run. Your loss of self is the most significant thing that could be taken away from you. Don’t give it up for anything.

2. Be honest.
Do not say anything about yourself or others that you know is false. Absolutely refuse to let your mind be colonized. The first crazy thing someone asks you to believe or to profess, refuse. If you can, do so out loud. There is a good chance it will inspire others to speak up, too.

3. Stick to your principles.
If you are a decent person, you know mob justice is never just. So never join a mob. Ever. Even if you agree with the mob. If you are a decent person, you know betraying friends is wrong. So if a friend or a colleague does something you disagree with, write them a private note. Don’t be a snitch. Any mob that comes for them will come for you.

4. Set an example for your kids and your community.
That means being courageous. I understand that it’s hard. Really hard. But in other times and places, including in our own nation, people have made far greater sacrifices. (Think of those “honored dead” who “gave the last full measure of devotion.”) If enough people make the leap, we will achieve something like herd immunity. Jump.

5. If you don’t like it, leave it.
A class in college, a job, anything. Get out and do your own thing. I fully understand the impulse to want to change things from within. And by all means: Try as hard as you can. But if the leopard is currently eating the face of the person at the cubicle next to yours, I promise it’s not going to refrain from eating yours if you post the black square on Instagram.

6. Become more self-reliant.
If you can learn to use a power drill, do it. If you’ve always wanted an outdoor solar hot tub, make one. Learn to poach an egg or shoot a gun. Most importantly: Get it in your head that platforms are not neutral. If you don’t believe me, look at Parler and look at Robinhood. To the extent that you can build your life to be self-reliant and not 100 percent reliant on the Web, it’s a good thing. It will make you feel competent and powerful. Which you are.

7. Worship God more than Yale.
In other words, do not lose sight of what is essential. Professional prestige is not essential. Being popular is not essential. Getting your child into an elite preschool is not essential. Doing the right thing is essential. Telling the truth is essential. Protecting your kids is essential.

8. Make like-minded friends.
Then stand up for them. Two good tests: Are they willing to tell the truth even if it hurts their own side? And do they think that humor should never be a casualty, no matter how bleak the circumstances? These people are increasingly rare. When you find them, hold on tight.

9. Trust your own eyes and ears.
Rely on firsthand information from people you trust rather than on media spin. When you hear someone making generalizations about a group of people, imagine they are talking about you and react accordingly. If people insist on spouting back headlines and talking points, make them prove it, in their own words.

10. Use your capital to build original, interesting and generative things right now. This minute.
Every day I hear from those with means with children at private schools who are being brainwashed; people who run companies where they are scared of their own employees; people who donate to their alma mater even though it betrays their principles. Enough. You have the ability to build new things. If you don’t have the financial capital, you have the social or political capital. Or the ability to sweat. The work of our lifetimes is the Great Build. Let’s go.

MAGA Mom

Worship God more than Yale … love that turn of phrase

Stop letting “them” tell us who the experts are and stop giving automatic expert status based on school attendence and degrees.

Studying Saul and going into study of David right now with son. Saul was an “expert” by physical/outward appearences, looked like a great king and yet was a miserable failure. David was right (most of the time) in his heart. God v. contemporary expections and cultural approval.

Via Project Veritas:

Dear Michael,

As you know, Project Veritas was recently banned from Twitter.

CNN’s business reporter Brian Fung originally reported that Twitter came to this decision due to Project Veritas’ repeated violations of their policy against posting private information. Twitter’s justification is totally ridiculous, of course.

To my shock, CNN hosts Ana Cabrera and Brian Stelter came up with entirely different reasons for why Project Veritas was banned. They affirmed on live TV that Project Veritas was banned for spreading misinformation and for violating several Twitter rules.

I couldn’t let their outrageous lies slide:

There is a word to describe what Cabrera and Stelter engaged in on live TV: fabrication.

They FABRICATED the notion that Project Veritas was banned from Twitter for spreading misinformation and for violating several of the platform’s policies.

The simple fact is that Project Veritas was wrongfully banned for posting harmless information, which was characterized by Twitter as “private information.”

If it couldn’t get any worse, take a look at CNN’s very own reporting . . .

CNN literally has a video up on Twitter from 2018 where it shows a private citizen’s house number, and the platform to this day has taken NO ACTION.

To be clear: Project Veritas is banned from Twitter for something that CNN does regularly and without repercussions. Seems legit.

When Project Veritas’ Chief Legal Officer Jered Ede called CNN reporter Brian Fung to get clarification on his network’s position in this matter, Fung was unable to explain why Cabrera and Stelter made those assertions on the air.

Ede asked Fung if Twitter ever told him that Project Veritas was being banned from the platform for spreading misinformation. This is what Fung said in response:

“They didn’t say that, no.”

Cabrera and Stelter owe Project Veritas a correction and a public apology.

Ede has sent a letter to CNN General Counsel David Vigilante demanding a retraction.

Stay tuned because Project Veritas will not shy away from these defamatory accusations.
CNN, it’s time you do the right thing…for once.

In Truth,
James

Scientific American has an article saying that fighting obesity has racist roots.

From Doc Holliday: https://notthebee.com/article/somehow-this-is-real-and-i-have-thoughts

The article is so dumb that it’s appalling, but it is obviously another ploy to use identity politics to divide us. From the article:
___________________________

Let’s go through a few pieces of this article. It’s so bad it’s actually a work of art.

Black women have also been identified as the subgroup with the highest body mass index (BMI) in the U.S., with four out of five classified as either “overweight” or “obese.” Many doctors have claimed that black women’s “excess” weight is the main cause of their poor health outcomes, often without fully testing or diagnosing them. While there has been a massive public health campaign urging fat people to eat right, eat less and lose weight, black women have been specifically targeted.

Perhaps — just spitballing here — perhaps black women have been specifically targeted by public health campaigns addressing obesity because, as the author says earlier in the same paragraph, “Black women have also been identified as the subgroup with the highest body mass index.”

Just a thought?

The next sentence is just *chef’s kiss*:

This heightened concern about their weight is not new; it reflects the racist stigmatization of black women’s bodies.

To be clear: The Scientific American is telling you that the most obese subgroup in the U.S. is black women, and that concern about the health implications of obesity — championed by folks like, say, Michelle Obama — “reflects the racist stigmatization of black women’s bodies.”

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

UGH! This is the thing that really bugs me. It was these same controlling boomer leftists who CREATED “intrusive health concern about weight” – which conservative society FROWNED ON!!! Remember how other people’s weight used to be “MYODB” stuff? Remember? Until the LEFT and THE MEDIA made other people’s weight a valid concern?

And NOW the same controlling boomer leftists are blaming THEIR CRIME on conservatives by implication, since “we’re the racists”, per them.

THESE PEOPLE.

TheseTruths

Yes! They were the “health-conscious” ones, imposing that on everyone else. Now that identity politics serves their purposes, they focus on that. I don’t think they’re ever sincere about their real motives. It’s not about people’s welfare; it’s about their own power and control over others to further their goals.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Exactly. It’s all about CONTROL.

TheseTruths

And by trying to make black women focus on race, they are hurting them (those who fall for it) and preventing them from being as healthy as possible.

Aubergine

Well, yeah.

They want to kill all the black babies, and if they can’t get them in the womb, they want them to die from obesity.

I can NOT believe that black people don’t realize that leftists HATE THEM.

TheseTruths

Thank goodness some are waking up.

Saturday the 20th was a very busy day, indeed. Looks coordinated. This was following the massive power outage in Texas and other states earlier this week that I strongly suspect was also a deliberate attack. I know we’ve been at war for awhile, but it appears to be escalating.

Yeah, isn’t that funny the way the mass shootings are back! Boy, that sure is weird, but THANK GOODNESS we have a GUN CONTROL PRESIDENT!

Sadie Slays

The Parkland psy-op happened in February 2018. They blasted “Parkland anniversary” propaganda over the local news, then gun control was brought up again, and now we’re back to mass shootings all within the span of about a week. It’s all so predictable. The only deviation from the playbook is that they now appear to be targeting pro-gun venues like gun stores and VFWs. If they can’t get our guns through legislation, then they’ll move on to straight up killing people who support the Second Amendment.

Last edited 3 years ago by Sadie Slays
Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

I think they want to push the “psych evaluation” aspects. That was a priority under Obama. By hitting pro-gun venues they weaken resistance on that item – particularly by influential FFLs.

cthulhu

They might want to be pushing “psych evaluation” at pro-gun venues, but what they are getting is “separating wheat from chaff muy rapido” when they get there.

Seriously, you’d have to be the one in the corner with a dunce cap in a classroom full of turnips to try a mass shooting at a range.

Statement on the Continuing Political Persecution of President Donald J. Trump

This investigation is a continuation of the greatest political Witch Hunt in the history of our Country, whether it was the never ending $32 million Mueller hoax, which already investigated everything that could possibly be investigated, “Russia Russia Russia,” where there was a finding of “No Collusion,” or two ridiculous “Crazy Nancy” inspired impeachment attempts where I was found NOT GUILTY.

I know leftists have been accusing PDJT of stealing the presidential seal, but I love that he uses a similar one for his official office out of the WH. Here is the original one for comparison:

comment image

duchess01

I understand the one he uses is very special – an original – unique – a symbol of what is to come – imho

TheseTruths

I think the fact that he uses one at all, and has established an official “Office of Donald J. Trump” is significant. I know it’s driving the Left nuts. I would have hated it if O had done something like that, in the open. But PDJT was fraudulently run out of the office where he should be sitting at this moment. The more we hear from him, the better.

duchess01

At present, he only speaks when he has something important to say – I wonder about what he will be talking at CPAC – they have quite an impressive group of speakers lined up for that conference.

His new seal has a history – I read about it – but, cannot locate it at present.

TheseTruths

I’d like to see it when you find it!

Not exactly, but close. PDJT’s is different from both in some ways, and it has three stars at the bottom. This is the Great Seal:

duchess01

Excellent observation, Truths!!!

I wonder what the significance of those three stars is, or if an artist just added them to distinguish his seal from the others. I lean toward their having some meaning.

duchess01

My first thought was Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – but, since this is his seal – it has meaning for him – or they would not have been added.

What a headache, Cooth!!! Glad you weathered the storm!!!

cthulhu

Not really a storm….just another reminder that much of what we work with as “solid” online is really made out of tissue-paper and spit.

One of the more annoying internal struggles was thinking, “oh, I’ll just point XXXXX at the site and pull the trigger” and having to think, “if that didn’t get me posting on the site, it might just leave the whole site a smoldering ruin….so let’s play nice.” So no direct attacks on the LAMP stack or WP…..

I did try a variety of browsers with a variety of configurations within a variety of “systems” and “sandboxes” — because that’s “playing nice”. I did try a variety of cookie schemes.

And, eventually, I got to the point where my original unmodified (I didn’t even reboot it) computer could do this Test post. A couple of hours after T3 and I had an interesting metaphysical speculation at the utree….

duchess01

Well gee, Cooth – that would definitely drive the non-computer savvy among us bonkers – glad you had the skills to overcome the anomalies – Kudos to you!!!

cthulhu

Warn’t no skills. T3 noted that it looked like we were being jacked around by someone to see if anyone complained. I suggested he say something over here instead of at utree. He did. And the “WP Fix-It Fairies” sprinkled their PHP dust over JetPack and the site (here) started working again for me.

BIG PHARMA- VACCINE PEARL HARBOR – WAKE UP AND USE YOUR GOD GIVEN VOICE!
february 22, 2021 the marshall report

https://themarshallreport.wordpress.com/2021/02/22/big-pharma-vaccine-pearl-harbor-wake-up-and-use-your-god-given-voice/

If you have loved your freedom or simply just expect it as a right, then know this, we are under a digital Pearl Harbor. The world is at stake and there is no room for failure, this is it. That being said, the next set of questions are many.

Why is everything so unclear, and why aren’t we told what is going on exactly? Imagine how we have allowed fake news to lie to us for years, and our government to go as far as incorporate themselves and take away our freedoms yet, we yell at Trump for not telling us what he is doing? We are yelling at the wrong people here. Perhaps this is what we need to understand. We have allowed liars and thieves to control our lives, and enslave all of us to lives on a hamster wheel of laborious days with taxes, taxes, taxes. And then, when the one sent to stand up to the cabal comes and is smack dab in the middle of the war – comparable to Moses telling Pharaoh that if there is one more plague on Egypt it will be by your own hands….the people demand that our Moses (President Trump, who we expect to deliver us)should tell us exactly how the plague is going to be done and what we are going to get as we leave Egypt, and all the details of the promised land.

Someone posted this link earlier and a reply in the comments caught my imagination…

https://accordingtohoyt.com/2020/12/04/operation-swamp-fox/
Main convo is about how to throw sand in the machine.

The sub convo was about the overwhelm of eavesdropping tech…

I’m a computer programmer. Unlike snelson, I don’t have direct knowledge… but my indirect knowledge says he’s absolutely right. Even the supercomputers owned by certain three-letter agencies can’t process all the phone calls, etc., going on, which is why they’re programmed to listen for keywords. And they can’t record everything for later processing either; they’d run out of disk space. So they have to be selective in what they record.

This is why, back in the Usenet days, people used to deliberately put a bunch of keywords in their Usenet signature, so certain agencies’ processing power would get tied up working on a bunch of irrelevant material; it was a kind of distributed protest against the monitoring that people knew (well. suspected) was going on. Something like that would be quite useful again, I think. Drop a bunch of keywords into innocuous Skype and/or phone calls, and flood their systems with irrelevant data.

Which may not be so useful in today’s world since much is different these days.

However the basic sand in the machine ideas are quite beautiful.

Gudthots

But first, the sheep dog’s confession…

So we need to fight back. More specifically, I need to fight back.

Look, guys, I know this makes no sense whatsoever, and is not objectively true, but I’m broken in very specific ways. One of those is that in this type of situation I feel guilty for it having happened at all, like I should have prevented it. And I feel responsible for protecting everyone in its path. Which is …. on its face insane.

I bet a lot of you, by nature or training sheep dogs are feeling the same. We know what we are. We’re not good people. Frankly, we’d rather eat the flock, and be muzzle-deep in blood.

But we or something in us knows better. Something in us chose to harness the predator to defend the flock. It’s our flock. And though the predator still howls for blood, it’s wolf blood.

And we’ve been tearing ourselves apart since the lockdown happened, because we sensed the wolves rounding in that move. We sensed the threat to the flock. But we had no idea how to fix it, how to protect “ours.”

In case some of you aren’t built in this model, (and I imagine there are few of you) what happens feels a lot like going insane. The paranoia and aggression comes out, and if you can’t do anything, you rip yourself to shreds.

Well…. I depress myself to stop me hurting others. I become incredibly non-productive and depressed, and stop sleeping.

But that does nothing.

This is not a sidestep, so bear with me: Like many of you, I heard of the planned trucker strike for this last Monday. When it didn’t happen, I thought it might be one of the many rumors swirling around, the sort of thing we live in right now.

Turns out –got to love you American-born people. You are so ENDEARINGLY naive and fearless — the organizer of the group (The Wheels Stop) started the group …. on Facebook. It exploded to 70k people in a week, and then …. he called the strike off. Now, the article I read about this said he didn’t expect it to grow that much and didn’t want to be in that kind of position of leadership. What I understand (and minimal poking around confirms my suspicions) is that he and his family got threatened into his calling it off.

Which is a pity, because the planned strike emphasized ONE very important thing: anyone who rules this country, rules by consent of the governed. Not just in America, though in America it was codified, but always.

When we think about it, we think in terms of the fourth box. Because we’re Americans, and we have the power.

But the fourth box is not the only box. And if used, it catapults us into a completely different world. More importantly, it’s not up to any of us to start. It will start — or not — at some point, at some flare instance. What I’m afraid of is that those are being “spiked” somehow.

And the sheepdogs are going crazy. They smell the wolf and they can do nothing.

I woke up this morning thinking of Poland. When they’d had enough, the communists were brought down with a general strike.

Um…. Sure. UNTOLD damage and pain. But guys, less than where we’re headed with or without the fourth box.

Last edited 3 years ago by Gudthots
Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

AGREED. And a general strike is distributed. They can attack the main promoters, bit more will pop up.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Yip!

cthulhu

Just as an aside, Your reply to T3 @22:44 and pgroup’s reply to you at 23:43 display as a trainwreck on my screen — they’re both merged together in the space of a single comment.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Somebody wants you gone! It ain’t me!

cthulhu

You’ve always been most helpful and supportive, Wolf.

And I have some stories to tell, but not in this thread after its appointed term.

But there are those out there who want “Total Information Awareness” and those of us who don’t think it should be possible.

I don’t take it personally…..as they say in The Godfather, it’s strictly business.

cthulhu

HAH! They just disentangled. They’ve been all scrambled up for HOURS.

Gudthots

Part 2…

To work it would need to be like the tea party. I don’t know how to do that. But I know some people reached by this do. They were part of and instrumental in the tea party.

And as horrible as a general strike is, it’s better than slavery to China, or CWII and better than the utter destruction of our republic and its institutions.

If done, it should be done for two things “A stop on the infringement on our constitutional liberties, no matter if in the name of a virus.

And a new election, free and fair. One day, purple fingers, in person, with ID. AND the ballots counted in front of everyone who desires to attend. By hand. No shenanigans.”

IF it’s done. If any of you know how to even start doing that. Some crucial industries that would turn this bitch around, even without “general” participation are, of course, transportation and food production at all levels. Even 50% stoppage will stop the nonsense (and likely bring the government as is down.) Think about it. Do what you can.

But it’s not in MY purview to do or organize. And it would be better if we have several organizations going at once. Remember our older brothers in Hong Kong. They’ve been fighting China a long time: be like water.

Gudthots

Thank you Sarah Hoyt!
https://accordingtohoyt.com/2020/12/04/operation-swamp-fox/

Part 3 … guerrilla warfare at the ground level…

And in that spirit, there’s things you each can do to turn this around. They’re smaller, they take a long time, and each of you will have very little impact. Some of you will recoil from them, because they imply fighting in our own circle, and some of you will scream “we become like them.” No. We do not. This is defensive. Shooting at those who are shooting at you is not “you become like them.” It’s defensive. This is the same. If we don’t do this, they WILL win, because they’re attacking and we’re not defending.

Will it tarnish your soul? Likely. All war does, whether lethal or not. But we didn’t choose this. We’re under attack from an enemy without who has activated an enemy within. And we have to win this. We have to win it for us, for the free men and women in the world. Or we all live under the boot of China, who make Nazi Germany seem cuddly and gentle (Note to the inevitable idiots: and yes, they were pretty horrible monsters.)

So, operation Swamp Fox (a) because an American Hero b) because we’re fighting the swamp).

I’m going to give you the basics. You’re my people. you’ll improvise, innovate and imagine new ways to make things work, ways I never even thought about. So the basic maneuvers (and you’ll need to dislocate your mind a little to do some of them.)

1- Tit for tat

Many of you work embedded in the liberal world. You know what these people think of us, and how they behave if they have a chance to get back at us, including a million little acts of sabotage and defiance.

Well?

Tit for tat. If there’s a way you can make the life of your liberal co-worker a living hell, sabotage their career, make them feel incompetent? Start now. IF you can do it without it coming back on you, do it. And do it as hard and as often as you can.

“But they’re a good person” you’ll say. Oh, are they? What would they do to YOU if they knew your politics and had the chance? That’s all we’re asking for. Tit for tat.

What this will do: make the organization shakier; make the leftists anywhere come across as putzes (they sabotage, belittle, etc. any out conservative which is how they’ve managed to project that “conservatives are not very smart or creative.” This is JUST pay back.); put them on edge so they make mistakes, and make themselves seem less competent. If we have to do this for four years it’s going to hurt like a mother, but we’ll make sure it hurts them more.

2- Be the Uber Karen

What is that I hear? Oh, yes. You see…. Karens don’t follow their own rules very well.

Have you considered walking up to the mask police and LOUDLY telling them they’re wearing their mask wrong? Same with ANY liberal you know to be so in public.

MAKE them live by their rules. While you’re at it, make them live by ALL their rules. They’re writing a letter? Well, using paper is Chinese appropriation! They’re doing/wearing something sourced to another continent? Come down on them like a ton of bricks on the flimsiest excuse.

They drive a car? Oh, dear. What about global warming? They have kids? But the OVERPOPULATION! Chase them around and preach their own gospel at them at the most inconvenient and bizarre times. Publicly. Loudly.

What this does: the stupider ones will crack. The brighter ones might end up red pilled.

3- Bangs arm on chest “He’s OUR leader.”

Go on and on about the wonderfulness of your local petty tyrant, and how they totally deserve to get the best. And how great was it — tee-he — that the election was rigged, uh? Those votes just pulled from under the table in Atlanta! (Eyes wide with admiration) There’s even video! How great is it that now our great leaders will have power forever? Notice Obama is in charge again? That’s what I mean. Isn’t it wonderful? Look at all the HEALING he managed in his time. Etc. Be as fullsome as you can.

What it does: those with a shred of humanity will revolt inside and eventually it will bring them around. This works best if you are under deep cover. Seriously. They won’t know what hit them.

4- Be the ditsy aunt

This also only works if you’re deep under cover, but find all the things they don’t want the rank and file to know, and say them, with the deepest and greatest possible approval.

Hunter Biden’s laptop? “Well, of course it’s true, but the media was so right in covering it up. The poor poor boy. Very difficult, all those addictions, and of course Joe took what payments he could from where he could. The poor boy needed help.”

“China is so wonderful. They control their population. Oh, sure they have camps, but really, if they need to reduce population, how else to do it?”

5- NOT ONE red cent

I confess my dad is responsible for this. When he turned eighty and retired he announced “My life is too short to read communists.”

This one is the one that will hurt most of us. We have gotten used to consuming entertainment from the assholes. Because for a while it was all you could get.

It’s time to cut back.

And I feel like a total hypocrite saying this, because I read from Amazon and sell on Amazon. But I’m not saying to do it in everything, only where you have a choice. If you have a choice of whom to do business with, do it with people you know to be conservatives. Grow our own. The reason we don’t have money on the right is that asymmetrical economic warfare has been waged on our people for decades. It’s time to return fire. If you have a chance, buy from your own, and give breaks to your own.

One easy thing you can do, on Amazon even, is read your own, and as much as you can avoid things from China.

Starve the beast.

6- Make connections.

Find the other conservatives in your circles. Make connections. This might be needed in the future. In fact, it will probably be. I don’t need to explain how or why, right?

7- Make them live up to their claimed ideals.

This can be used even if the liberal is your nearest and dearest. You might think it makes no difference but a comment like “How very Hitlerian of you!” when they talk about punishing political opponents or how some people are inherently bad from birth can fester and eventually bring about a crisis of conscience.

And hell, it’s worth a try.

Now go and make with it. And spread the idea to anyone you can trust. The effect of one of us doing it is minimal (though often satisfying, particularly tit for tat) but the effect of all of us doing it, much less anyone else, will be noticeable and leave a mark. And maybe weaken their position until those bigger than us take action.

So, make with Operation Swamp Fox.

Let’s win our country back.

BREAKING: Mike Lindell says it’s “a great day” now that Dominion Voting Systems has sued him and his company MyPillow. He can finally present evidence in a court of law as well as demand Discovery.

Sounds good, but I don’t understand why Dominion would open themselves up to discovery.

Linda

That’s what I can’t figure out either. They also sued Sidney Powell, and she’s not going to give an inch.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

The DIRTY COURTS will give the inches needed.

michaelh

Cf. Flynn.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

They think they can control the courts (they can) to keep the information bound up, and then they will drag it out forever, eventually attempting to settle on the condition that the information stay sealed under an NDA.

They will get the courts to shut Mike up during the process – that is their main goal, IMO.

Perkins Coie is part of the Fake Elections scam, and China’s takeover of America. Anything they delay toward the future is a win.

Is it possible that plaintiffs based the suit on the assumption that the defendants evidence is is the Fanning/Montgomery data that’s been called into question?

Linda

Hmmm.

I’m in favor of finding everything out that could be affecting decisions that impact all of us.

Anytime the words children and Haiti are connected it’s suspect to me. And she’s Mrs. pro-life. So she couldn’t find couple of American kids in bad circumstances to rescue?

 U.S. Supreme Court refuses to review #Pennsylvania election cases. No standing before an election, moot after. Justices Alito, Gorsuch, and Thomas dissent from the denial.

I don’t understand how “the military is the only way forward” works. I can’t see any other way, but in practical terms, I don’t know how this would play out — as in who would do what, and when.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Yeah, I just drop occasional bits of the hopium for those who tire of my black pills. I don’t see how it works, either.

TheseTruths

Thanks for the honesty.

cthulhu

I’m willing to move forward with successive approximations. First, we hang anyone in office because of fraud. Then we hang anyone who enabled the fraud….

para59r

If nothing else, certainly past time to throw the voting machines into the harbor.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

This is the best solution I’ve heard yet!

cthulhu

It’s a good start.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

I suspect that SCOTUS is fine with this, as long as anybody who believes there was fraud is hung first!

cthulhu

I tend to alternate IPAs and lagers at night after dinner, and just rolled into my first lager — something new, “Tremor Light Lager” from Santa Rosa, California.

THIS is a beer very much like making love in a canoe.

Sauce

….indeed, f%$king close to water. An thirst for IPAs will turn a typical american lager into a palette cleanser at best

I have not seen Steve. It’s closer to the end of the month, so data throttling? Or work demands? Or weather issues?

We’ll see — it’s not time sensitive, it just holds a tab open.

Interesting conversation on Gab. “L” (@SomeBitchIKnow) was asking about the actual Chinese text of a conversation at the start of COVID in China. It involves that doctor who died of the disease after raising a red flag about it.

@SomeBitchIKnow Actually, he wasn’t quite a hero, he just ran into this thing. It was a private conversation that was monitored, so he got caught. We Chinese are now in such a speech environment, private mobile phone chat, may be betrayed, will be arrested by the police. The mainland Internet is full of false propaganda. We may eulogize, we may lie, but to speak the truth, to speak the truth, is to run a risk.

Your United States is on the road of centralization, the election fraud is a very clear signal, if the American people do not want to protect your future, then the future of our current Chinese living state, is your future.

(I can’t speak English, this is the software translation, please forgive me)

@Julie4sure @SomeBitchIKnow Actually, in my opinion, you still have a chance.

People who say America is going to become China, the Soviet Union, the Nazis, don’t really know what that looks like. America is not there yet.

America is left-leaning and centralized, but as long as there is no major humanitarian disaster, as long as there are hundreds of millions of patriots, there is hope for America.

Interestingly, a slightly different translation from the Chinese using Google:

In fact, in my opinion, you still have a chance.

Those who say that the United States will become China, the Soviet Union, and the Nazis do not really know what it is like. The United States has not yet reached that level.

The United States is left-leaning and has centralized power, but as long as it has not encountered a major humanitarian disaster and there are tens of thousands of patriots, the United States still has hope.
