I don’t know about anyone else, but right now in the midst of spring and flowering trees being in full bloom, the quiet does seem to feel like the calm before some sort of storm. What that is or will be is another question, but one thing is for sure: waiting is the hardest part.
Patience really is not a great American virtue.
We want it over with already, and, frankly, we have no idea what’s gong on beneath the surface other than the Democrats are pulling crap in Arizona to spike the audit of the November 2020 election, and some of the states with larger electoral college totals are losing votes thanks to the people migrating elsewhere.
Such is life in America. The people are free to go where they think they will have the best advantages.
And yet, here we are.
At this point, where else are we going to go just for some hope – yes, hope – that this massive mess foisted on us by the powers that wannabe will eventually be untangled.

Of course, this does not mean committing felonies, but standing up to the forces that want to tear this nation – and humanity apart. The very people XVII told us will be destroyed by the time this movie comes to an end are currently roaming the halls of power…supposedly. It’s a sickening sight.

Heh. Turns out, I’m not a great fan of her paintings of animals, birds, or people. Nor am I impressed by intimate studies of few flowers. But many of her works with a flower garden near buildings or wildflowers near water are gorgeous.
I liked most of her work for the bright bold colors. Though I love the one Deplorable Patriot picked for us the best.

Again, no real security issues….but a lot of kernel developers are doing nights and weekends because of the stupid UMN program — and not creating or evaluating useful code instead. UMN really kicked a hornet’s nest on this one.
Wait until a bunch of the biggies (Google, Apple, Oracle, etc.) start saying, “if you were thinking of submitting a resume with UMN on it, send it somewhere else.”

What these “researchers” discovered was something called “emergent phenomena” – sometimes it wake up and bites your backside.
As an important aside, in a proprietary/closed-source project, “hypocrite commits” are not performed by threat actors operating ostensibly from the community, but from another category of persons known as “insider threats”.

The entire operation is likely a PROBE PLUS MISDIRECTIONS of some kind, although the misdirections are always the hardest to find. IMO they may be pushing the idea of FOSS vulnerability to distract from upcoming bad press for PHLOSS insiders. Or they are trying to distract from heaving CCP presence inside FAANG, including policy and censorship rule-setting. Some of the stuff coming out of Facebook is horrendous.
But this is very much like the Zhang mask paper, or many other weirdnesses done by the CCP. They push almost any way they can and score in two ways – the fast political payoff, plus judge the reaction to prepare the next long-range attack.
The thing is, Linux has had no end of bad ideas suggested for incorporation into the kernel. The kernel development community exists to take weird and impractical suggestions and advance the ones that actually bring improvements while slowing or rejecting those that don’t. When you look at some of the wild stuff that is now considered old hat — stuff like ASLR [ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Address_space_layout_randomization ] or lists of encrypted hashes — a lot of it was initiated or promoted through Linux.
Some of the bad ideas are probably very long-range in their strategy, and thus I think the idea of slowing them down to help them reveal their dangers is a very good counter-strategy.

Yeah, I don’t really see there being a lot of difference, except that with FOSS, an actively suspicious CROWD has visibility into the code, for whatever that is worth, which IMO is a LOT, but not COMPLETE.
IMO, FAANG and other PHLOSS (proprietary hypocrites leveraging OSS) have their own issues with insiders, but there is even more danger in them playing much longer games with misdirection of architecture.

It should be noted that the Linux Kernel mailing list archives were loaded into a database some years ago and analyzed for usage of swear words. Somewhat unsurprisingly, some of the top results for words included “crap” and “s**t”, and one of the top results for users was Linus. He has since tried to do better, and the use of “pissed off” is unusual for “mild Linus”. Of course, in the old days (pre-analysis), it would have probably been “rightfully f***ing furious”.

One of the semi-mystical things about the Lotus in India is the roots are dug, each year while dormant, and essentially replanted in cow manure. They are wildly hungry plants (which is tough to pull off in an aquatic environment).
Pigs can do the same thing. Our front paddock has the best grass in years because the pigs rooted up and ate the weeds and left their poop everywhere.
It’s like an emerald sea in that paddock.
For me, it was running aquaria that really did it.
If you take a glass box, put absolutely sterile sand in it, put in some rocks and water and add fish — you will likely lose all the fish in about two months. When you feed the fish, the fish turn it into fish waste and all uneaten food rots. If you skip feeding, your fish starve, and if you feed lightly, the fish are slowly poisoned.
If you already have an aquarium, fill the new one with about 1/3 sand from the old one, move the old filter to the new tank, and put the new filter on the old tank. Nothing even hiccups.
There are beneficial bacteria that grow in tanks that feed on fish waste and partially detoxify it, then more beneficial bacteria that feed on partially-detoxified waste and mostly detoxify it to the point where small water changes every month are adequate to maintain a livable environment.
Without the fish, all the beneficial bacteria will die.
Life supports life. The more life exists, the more opportunities for life are available. It’s much like capitalism — the more consumers and producers, the better for everyone.
They are CUNNING – they are freakin’ CUNNING – and dipsheets like AOC are never going to be able to see this kind of anti-human agenda.

Update on whole-house fan: replacement motor arrived, had to tear apart more of the old installation.
They’d used a Heyco 7K-2 stress relief on the old motor’s wiring as it passed into their wiring box. I readily found information about it online, but also found that they have no local distributors — everything is from their warehouse. It’s a nylon part where you drop the wiring in, then fold over a piece to lock it in….and there didn’t seem to be any provision whatsoever to unlock it. I ended up having to use tinsnips to cut through the box, then some force to bend one part up and the other back, until I could unscrew the thing from the box. Since that leaves more sharp edges in the vicinity of the wiring, I’ll have to MacGyver something to protect the wires from vibrating on an edge. I have a feeling it will involve duct tape.
I then hooked-up everything on my kitchen counter, using a stripped 3-wire power cord in lieu of house wiring, plugged it in and everything worked as intended. I now need to rebuild it inside the box (with wire protection where it enters). After that, I’ll need to clean up the fan blades and stash them upstairs within reach. Installing the fan from underneath should be straightforward without the fan. Then I rewire the house wiring to the interior of the box, reattach the box to its strut, reattach the fan to the motor, and either reach up through the fan and hit the kill switch to energize the fan, or dash up into the attic to do so. Then test.
I may be slow, but I give initial credence to all its excuses for why it can’t be done until I figure out how to get around them.
I’ve got a more realistic version.

There are many strange occurrences happening in Washington D.C. as of late, but this has to be one of the oddest. Now, many already know that the White House airspace is a no-fly zone meaning that no aircraft can simply be in that area for security purposes. Of course, that makes sense to keep potential threats out of the area and keep the leader of the nation safe.
So, why was there a place spotted over the White House?
In a recent press conference at the supposed White House, a plane was spotted flying over the White House.
When the question was asked to White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, you can actually see her wheels spinning trying to figure out how to answer this knowing that is not supposed to be happening.
She knows that planes do not fly over the WHITE HOUSE!

Yeah, there is a lot of strange stuff going on.

Obviously this raises a lot of questions. At the same time this scene is so ridiculous (capable of being ridiculed) that it deserves a laughing and mocking at.
This woman is not in control or driving this. An interruption and she says “there’s a plane, right overhead!” She should be prepared and have a plan for being on top of interruptions and distractions, instead she acts helpless and lacks the command of her situation. A smarter vocabulary too. “Wait for the aircraft to pass” would show an intelligent command of the situation. I know that amateur hour is the norm right now, but what kind of press secretary for a position like this doesn’t have a rehearsed, gamed out response plan for the unexpected? You know full well that Kayleigh had table-topped every contingency from mechanical noise, to electrical fire, to popped lights, to power failure, in addition to hours of hand-to-hand verbal jujitsu training for when (not if) Acosta tried something. She also was in command of unruly reporters and didn’t rely (couldn’t rely) on their good graces to cut her slack and carry the water for her.
I know, that would require a characteristic that she lacks and is weak in… something called “leadership”.
At least she didn’t call it a “UFO”.

That raises a lot of questions. I don’t see Psaki being asked about the plane (as the report states); I just see her proclaiming that the noise is a plane. I also only see a plane being heard, not spotted, over the WH. Maybe that particular video doesn’t show everything that took place regarding the incident.
So…Was it really a plane?
Did she just assume it was a plane? (Does she not know about the no-fly zone? How could that be possible?)
Knowing that planes can’t fly over the WH, did she use that excuse to cover up something she knew to be nefarious?
Doesn’t she know that much of the public knows about the no-fly zone?
It is generally reported when planes or drones breach the NFZ over the WH, yet this hasn’t been reported?
If that wasn’t a plane, what was it?

The video feed was intentionally made for security — there were no landmarks, and the flag was framed against nothing but sky. Using only the shadows on the flag and pole, and time of sunrise and sunset, approximate latitude and longitude were assessed — only then, were flight records examined.
It was much like the lost ancient art of sextant navigation.

Don’t know what happened to all the investigator anons. Just a day or so ago I posted a video of Chris Marcus, a silver analyst (so nothing to do with politics) showing his trip to D.C.
There appeared to be no one at the WH, which he commented about repeatedly. He walked to the Treasury building, it looked run down. Everything looked run down, like nobody was doing even basic upkeep.
Chris was looking all over for the National Guard troops, but didn’t see any. It was like a ghost town.
Certainly the 4-chan / 8-kun anons would be able to figure out if D.C. was essentially empty… it’s a whole city… and not just any city.
Certainly anons (I think they have some flying fags too) could tell us the license number and call sign of any plane that flew over the WH, at any time, in the last 15+ years, if there were any, at all.
I was thinking more about times and flights over the suspected film studios/sets.
FWIW, the ChiComs have entire ghost cities, ostensibly built to keep their “fantastic” economy running and numbers looking good. Considering their “interest” in HollyWeird, they could be up to something. I know they have a replica of one (or some) city(ies) in Bayern, complete with a “Faketoberfest” (geesh, at least they got to have one this year!)…
Lots of unused buildings, etc., there that could be used… then again, no contrails, and the sky is probably brown with pollution…

As I said in a reply to you awhile ago . . . regarding this issue, you don’t KNOW anything with ANY more certainty than ANYONE else here. Therefore you have presented your thoughts, as has everyone else. There’s no ARGUMENT to rebut, it’s all just thoughts.

Of course there’s an argument, we’re not all just randomly posting thoughts, there is a hypothesis, sometimes evidence presented in support, applied reasoning, a complete thought expressed to either form a conclusion or present a coherent concept for examination.
Generally, that is another term for ‘argument’, and if we disagree with someone’s ‘argument’, that’s great.
In that case, we cross-examine the ‘argument’, point out errors of fact or reasoning, in other words ‘test’ the argument to see if it can withstand at least basic scrutiny.

I am not disparaging the anons, I’m making a point that it can’t be true that the anons don’t know, i.e., if the anons were clever enough to determine wherever in the world some actor hid a flag, then the anons MUST BE able to determine whether a normal flow of people are coming and going at the WH… in D.C…. or not.

This is what I don’t understand, and it has happened before with others. A poster comes out with their own fangs, criticizing both specific people here and the posters here in general, and that negativity and blame are tolerated and pronounced okay. (A couple of instances: One person accused a female poster here of basically being a glory hound, which was a judgment on that female poster’s thoughts and motives and something the accuser could not possibly have known; it was just their speculation. Another castigated both Wolf and everyone here for various reasons which I won’t go into.) Then when people point some of those things out, they are the ones who are blamed and who are said to have the supposed fangs. Maybe it was done in a belligerent way, which would not be appropriate, but I think it’s entirely appropriate to call out someone who is acting like a jerk and disturbing the peace in the process.

I don’t understand what this means. Is this about certain theories about what’s going on in Washington, that people are reluctant to post them? I don’t know exactly what you’re talking about, but I will say this. I am open to hearing theories of all kinds, but it helps if people can defend them, especially when they seem completely implausible and even impossible.
The theory that no one is using the WH and they are using a movie studio in a state on the opposite coast is one of those. I don’t read as much as you do about it, but I’ve not seen one prognosticator post how it might work, in detail. Nor does anyone on this site post how it might work, down to details which would involve knowing how the WH press corps works, knowing the movements of Congresspeople who have been to the Rose Garden and other venues, knowing about conservative reporters who are covering the WH, and much more. When no one can answer basic questions, it makes it very hard to find a theory plausible.
Now, if there is some site near D.C. that looks exactly like the WH complex, that is a little different, but the same applies. Everyone needs to defend their theories.
I think that is why some become frustrated and even inappropriate in pooh-poohing theories. No one is saying how they would work.

Your idea of green screens is no doubt being used all the time by the deceivers. But it doesn’t explain how the entire seat of government of the United States could have been abandoned with things being filmed on a different coast. I’ve raised multiple questions about it that no one can answer. This is not a demand for incontrovertible proof; it is a request that, if you want me to entertain your theory, give me some meat to chew on.
You don’t think there could be any difficulties with having sets in place of the real WH, with all the people involved? You don’t wonder about conservative reporters? Or Congresspeople who have attended WH ceremonies? Or new appointees who have been sworn in at the WH? Or the entire WH staff who put together events? Or people who have met with Biden or Harris about matters not pertaining to government, like charitable or other events? Or foreign dignitaries or leaders who visit? I don’t recall ridiculing anyone over that, we live in a dream world where no one on the planet can seem to verify if an entire city, Washington D.C., the Capital of the United States of America, is even occupied with people.

The other day I posted a video taken by Chris Marcus, a financial analyst who focuses on the silver market (and manipulation thereof), as he walked around Washington, D.C.
He is a known person, and while he certain appreciates the views of his youtube channel, his focus is on silver, not on politics. He was in D.C. to speak with someone about (and provide evidence for) manipulation of the silver market.
He was just walking around with his camera, in D.C., showing that few people were there, there was no one around the WH except for possibly a Marine guard at the front door, and no national guard. The Treasury Building appeared vacant, with a Secret Service guard who apparently either didn’t know who Janet Yellen was, or claimed she wasn’t there.
So Chris Marcus is a real person, whose focus is unrelated to the circus we follow every day, who documented basic information while walking around D.C. with his camera rolling.
Next we have the video I posted above, where clearly an airplane is flying over the WH press room, or at least the room that’s supposed to look like the WH press room, and one of the primary bad actors in this farce, Red Jen, acknowledges the plane flying over the WH.
To my knowledge, a plane can’t fly over the WH, and hasn’t, since probably years before 9/11.
So a central player in the farce (Red Jen) acknowledging an event which can’t be taking place over the real WH seems substantially more notable (or credible) than Juan O Savin or Simon Parkes or some other player with 5 different dogs in the fight and a pound of flesh in the game who is saying it.

There re a number of valid reasons for airplane/jet/chopper noise to occur over the White House – an INFILTRATION BY AIR – such as a drone, plane, chopper – or an INFILTRATION ON THE GROUND – infiltration of any Secret Service White House protected space – authorities would likely call out choppers, jets, etc.
Or it could have been a show of force or extra surveillance due to a THREAT.
Or it could have just been a practice drill.
I haven’t discovered yet if conservative reporters were present at that particular briefing, but I’ve done a little research to see if they are at some of them (because if they are, and the briefings are not at the WH, then they are covering something up).

There’s a very big local election coming up. Unfortunately, the only way I can participate is by registering Democrat. I do not want to register Democrat, my last vote was stolen, and I’m not the least bit convinced that even this local primary will be counted fairly. I was planning to sit this one out for the above reasons, but…this election is going to be close. I feel like I should at least try to support the moderate candidates. The neighborhood yard sign count was split on Trump/Biden in November with a tiny edge to Trump (IMO). I’m torn on what to do. I really don’t want register D after all the BS they’ve put us through.

Dems register as R’s for primaries, then switch back afterward.
It’s their way of trying to get the R’s that would be easier to beat in the general.
It’s the entire principle of the thing that bothers me. They stole my vote, they stole the election, and I’d feel disgusted being registered with them even if it’s only temporary. I was fine sitting this out until multiple races became competitive.

True, absolutely true.
In this particular case, this is probably about concealed carry.
Even back in the days when RKBA was assumed, some states banned concealed carry. Why? Because if you weren’t openly armed you were presumed to be up to no good. (My state’s constitution, and many others written in the late 1800s, actually have very strong RKBA language but then exempt concealed carry from the protection.)
Then open carry fell out of fashion and people even began to get “scared” when they saw someone carrying a gun, so the only way one could be armed without causing issues was to conceal. THAT’s when concealed carry became the only “reputable” way to carry. Our culture had actually gone through a reversal of the old norm.
So many states are almost unrestricted on open carry (mine is one, as long as you stay out of Denver), but no one will do it; so we end up asking for permission to carry concealed.
My second point is a gripe about the map. Wyoming is unrestricted, all right, provided you have a Wyoming driver’s license. They basically kept their old law against concealed carry, but made their own citizens exempt from it, as they had previously exempted permit holders, rather than just repealing the damn law. Visitors can still CC with a permit from their own state provided Wyoming has reciprocity with those states, and Wyoming probably still issues permits for use by people traveling elsewhere. I have no idea how many other “green” supposedly “unrestricted” states are the same way.

SO — Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the head of the CDC, has just swept away the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights.
“Fully vaccinated” Americans are now “allowed” to go outside without wearing a mask. They can gather “in small groups”.
They can “dine outdoors with people from multiple households”.
But even “fully vaccinated” people must still wear masks in indoor settings — and in any setting where there is a crowd, indoors or outdoors.
Unvaccinated people need to wear masks at all times except when indoors at home.
But even worse — Dr. Walensky is linking getting the CCP Virus “vaccine” to being “allowed” to pursue Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness without being forced to wear a mask.

Third: “transparent” processes? No way. Neither the CDC nor VAERS are reporting the actual numbers of persons who experience severe and/or fatal reactions to the “vaccine”.
Fourth: “…that continue” is code for “the human clinical trials are still going on, with millions of unsuspecting persons getting an experimental drug”.
Fifth: “safe and effective”? No. Too many people worldwide who get the “vaccines” are having severe reactions and/or dying from complications either kicked off by the elements included in the “vaccine”, or from events directly related to elements in the “vaccine”.
Sixth, and the biggest lie of all: NONE of the CCP Virus “vaccines” are VACCINES, and NONE of them are APPROVED by the FDA.
Rochelle Walensky is a Medical Doctor, let alone the head of the CDC. She must know that every half-truth and lie that she spreads about the CCP Virus “vaccines” is a violation of both the Hippocratic Oath and of her medical license.

I was at Lows today and almost no one wore masks. No one cared neither at Lows or other costumers. The Lows employees had masks on. Now with warmer weather people will less and less wear a mask.

Travel report, Central Wisconsin. Quite surprised here. Masks essentially not enforced anywhere I went. Some businesses, no mask signs, no masked employees. Best one was at a truck stop. Masked customer enters to buy a pack of cigarettes. Unmasked employee askes customer to remove mask so she can verify her ID to purchase the cigs. Irony written all over that transaction.
One college town I drove through had signs outdoors posted that masks were required as it was an open campus. Poor kids.
Signs of normalcy over all. Did not go to Madison but I would expect them to be pretty locked up still.

so glad to have found it as I have been trying to teach son a balanced view of slavery with proper context
I was piecing it together and will still add to the documentary but this makes it so much easier to use as a “spine” that I will flesh out v. making up all of it myself.
one thing I have made sure he learned was how many US whites were dedicated to anti slavery work in the US in the 1800s and how that work continued and impacted the world after 1860s. Had him read a number biographies of abolitionists from both the South and the north + studying missionaries to africa that took western views (anti slavery) into Africa and ME and India, etc.
US whites have, on the whole, been a force for good for POC.

I know what I did … it was those dern squash bugs! 100s if not 1,000s are in our garage. They swarm the window during the day. I found them and took the hand held vac to them multiple times over last 2 day and esp. yesterday. Holding vac away from my body and above my head … HUGE no no for me and hard to believe I even was able to do it. Probably just so excited to get so many and so driven to make sure so many didn’t escape and eat our garden.
hate those things even more than fire ants (which I Really hate!)

For those unfamiliar — a bunch of Highway 9 also has street signs. As in “Big Basin Road — Highway 9”. As such, it’s a two-way street that is occasionally throttled to one-way by landslides. It’s a paved road, and not a goat trail — so there’s that.
You probably won’t see this story but…once I hitched a ride from Boulder Creek to Santa Cruz on Highway 9 in a totally crazy hippie outfitted school bus. They were friends of mine and lived in it. Not unusual except there was a roaring fire going in a rickety pot bellied stove ! Even with the wacky weed I knew that was an accident waiting to happen.
