Heads Up: Are We There Yet, Daddy (Abba)? Your Call…

Instead of talking circles around this ages old theological position concerning the Tribulation, I am providing videos of a prominent pastor with his understanding of scripture about the subject. Each video is a little over an hour in length.

When finished, you may fully understand the view of a large segment of Christianity about salvation as well the times in which we currently live and the future. This can spark discovery, agreement or disagreement in the context of actual scriptural references. Whatever conclusions and any actions you choose to take in response are within your realm to think and make. I just ask that you pray to the Lord, think through things and research scripture as a basis for your response.

My Heads Up is that I completely agree with what he states. It is how I comprehend the scripture I read. If you have followed my BIMD stories I have referenced thinking Hebrew, life is in the blood, the promise of land for the chosen Hebrew nation and so on. Pastor Hibbs informs and confirms my worldview. So, that is the perspective I have if and when you read my posts.

Personal Theory – BRICS

The number of horns are increasing rapidly in the organization of BRICS with the potential addition of the Saudis, Turkey, Egypt, Argentina, Mexico, etc. I believe that when a nation aligns and contracts their economies, militaries, etc. with non-Christian, even openly atheist nations, their leaders have undermined any claim a nation may have to being Christian led. That does not mean I believe all of the BRICS involved nations will be in support of the Anti-Christ. It simply means that the potential is there for an unholy alliance that could lead to that being the case.

Macron’s recent embracing of China and willingness to be their liaison to the balance of Europe is something important to note. Europe has been in a post-Christian state for quite some time. Attention should be paid to the information in the following article.

It is getting very hard to dismiss the effects on the world of the actions of the UN, WHO, WTO, International Courts, international Military War Game participation, scamdemics of the moment, transhumanism, AI, the current Pope’s embracing of false religions and doctrine, etc. With the push toward the digital economy with CBDCs and against cryptocurrency, major pieces of the puzzle for 666’s arrival; we seem to be racing toward the finish line of the Satan orchestrated implementation phase. Which adds new meaning to the expression, “Nothing can stop what is coming.”

This is not to dismiss WEF and its tentacles into the world. This is to suggest that WEF may be a precursor and tool who sets the stage for what we see forming and being implemented before our eyes. To come to that understanding we probably need to admit that the principals in WEF and the Chi-coms are at least partially in league with one another, if not full blown partners.

Only God knows how America ultimately fits into His plan. It would help our case if we were found to be faithful. It is also far better to be a servant of God than to just be used as His instrument.

When You See…

Matt. 24:32-35 (NASB)

“Now learn the parable from the fig tree: as soon as its branch has become tender and sprouts its leaves, you know that summer is near; so you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.“

(TB) This passage relates to Jesus responding to the questions of His disciples. BibleRef.com offers a good summary explanation of all of His responses found primarily in Chapter 24 that includes the above referenced. It goes into the Olivet Discourse that Pastor Hibbs discusses.

“After proclaiming God’s judgment on the scribes and Pharisees (Matthew 23:13) and the city of Jerusalem (Matthew 23:37–398), Jesus leaves the temple, walking toward the Mount of Olives with His disciples. Someone in the group refers to the temple, saying something about the buildings. Jesus responds another dire statement about God’s coming judgment on Israel. He says the temple will be destroyed: every brick displaced. History indicates that this prophecy was fulfilled in AD 70. After a siege of the city and the slaughter of its people, the Romans burnt the temple, then tore it apart brick by brick to reach the precious metals that had melted into the rubble (Matthew 24:1–2).

After Jesus takes a seat on the Mount of Olives with the temple in view, the disciples ask Him for more details. Their questions focus on “the end of the age,” meaning the end times. They also wonder about when Jesus will return. Christ’s response fills the remainder of this chapter, as well as the next (Matthew 24:3). 

Jesus begins to describe a time when He will be gone from the earth and the disciples will be on their own. He warns them that many will come claiming to be the Christ: the Messiah. They will hear news and gossip about violence, conflict, and other tragedies. There will be international conflicts and famines and natural disasters. None of these will mean the end has arrived. At most, they are signs that the end is approaching (Matthew 24:4–8). 

That era will bring great suffering to the followers of Christ. They will be persecuted and murdered. This hate will be due to the world’s rejection of Christ. Many who seemed sincere in following Jesus will fall away under this pressure and even betray and hate their former friends. Liars will arise and lead many self-identified Christians away from the faith. Rejection of morality and law will expand. The influence of godly love will fade from the world. Those who survive these events, however, will see the gospel will be preached throughout the world, right as the end comes (Matthew 24:9–14). 

One vivid sign of these end days will fulfill a prophecy mentioned extensively by the prophet Daniel (Daniel 8:13; 9:27; 11:31; 12:11). This “abomination of desolation” involves some undefined, depraved defilement of the temple. Those who see this happen should run for their lives, not even hesitating to gather supplies. Those days will be terrible beyond imagining. Jesus describes them as a great tribulation, worse than anything else in history. In fact, those events will be so terrible as to threaten all human life (Matthew 24:15–22). 

While many terrible things happen in AD 70, they don’t rise to the levels depicted in these descriptions. Most likely, all that Jesus describes in these passages is set to happen in what is—at the time of this writing—still the future. When Christ’s second coming finally occurs, it won’t be secret in any way, shape, or form. Those who claim they need to tell others that Christ has returned will be liars, without exception. The second coming will be obvious to everyone in the world, including apparent signs in nature and around the world. An otherwise-unexplained “sign of the Son of Man” will appear. As Jesus sends angels to gather His chosen ones, the rest of the world will mourn (Matthew 24:23–31). 

Jesus next says that when people see these signs, they will know that His return is truly, immediately upon the world. Just as budding leaves on a fig tree signal the imminent arrival of summer, those events will indicate the return of Christ. The generation of Jesus’ own time will not be the ones to see this (Matthew 21:43). Rather, those who observe the catastrophic signs will be the ones to see the end (Matthew 24:35). 

At the same time, the time of Jesus’ coming cannot be known or predicted by any person. The signs will be obvious—but only when they happen. Prior to then, there will be absolutely no truth behind claims to know the date of Jesus’ return. That’s why His followers must live in a constant state of readiness. Jesus begins to deliver parables to show how Christians should live out this attitude of preparation. The servant found faithfully doing what the master instructed will be blessed. The one wickedly serving himself will be subjected to a gruesome, miserable fate.”

So What Now?

The answer to all of this is to do what the Lord told His disciples to do in Matthew 28:16-20. It is right there in front of all of us.

¹⁶ But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated to them. ¹⁷ And when they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful. ¹⁸ And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. ¹⁹ Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (NASB)

If we believe in Jesus as our personal savior, turn from our past sinful ways and do what he has taught and commanded, we receive the blessings that come from obedience. Literally nothing could be better to hear as we enter heaven than, “Well done good and faithful servant.” It helps us and others when we do it with other like-minded believers. We can support, fellowship, and learn from one another. We are less likely to succumb to the ways of the world and the evils of our present day situations.

That is the path forward as people and as a nation. Say “yes” to the Lord. Say “no” to sin and death. Share with, help and love others.

God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
