I am deliberately choosing to look at the world through rose-colored glasses for a while. Yes, I know it’s naive and juvenile, but I am about worn clean out of being afraid all the time.

I worked outside all day yesterday. It was glorious.
Really? The weather was absolute crap yesterday here for outside work…wind blowing hard, snow flurries. The flurries ended later in the day but working outside would still have been miserable. Likewise today.
Clearly even though you’re a bit north of me you’re getting considerably better weather.
It was off-and-on sunny, probably high forties if the sun wasn’t behind a cloud.
For years, I have lived in a house with ugly, 1930s-40s asphalt siding. NOT asbestos. But not attractive. And a few years back we had a small addition, and used Hardy Plank in the same width, but it’s obviously not a match.
So yesterday, I got a wild hair and decided to finally start to pull off the asphalt. And underneath? Beautiful, well-preserved wood lap siding!!!!
To say I was excited is the understatement of the year! So now we are going to pull off the Hardy and try to match the old original 100+year-old siding. It looks like it was painted ONCE, white/cream. And then covered over. It might even have been done in the 1920s. Who knows?
The Hardy has the advantage of being non-combustible. And paint won’t peel off of it.
I’d love to replace my trim and soffits with the stuff. The other siding is the big 4×8 sheets of Hardy.

It was so cool! I just love old houses. When I first moved in and pulled up the yucky carpet, there was nice hardwood underneath! People amaze me covering up stuff like that.

I love old houses, such better craftsmanship & materials & aesthetics. We have a do-it-yourself budget. I always wanted to visit the local salvage yard to see what gems might be found but never had funds to play with 🙁
Oh, yeah. We are on the do–it-yourself budget ALL the way. Thank goodness the DH has a lifetime of building/repair experience. I am just the labor 🙂
I play the brains & he plays the brawn, at least usually. He’s not afraid to dig in & do stuff he’s never attempted before. Me I want to Know Everything in advance & plan accordingly. We make quite the team 😉

The weather is so nice here I am washing windows polishing furniture and washing glass and nick knocks. I wish my kids would pick it up so I do not have to do it any longer. Daughter granddaughter are coming this summer so my granddaughter can shop at my house. They can take what ever they want I just want to keep 4 plates, bowls cups and some pots and pans. She is moving out of the dorm into an apartment and needs stuff.
I was so sore last evening moving sofas and chairs stuff from walls I barely could move. Only got the library done but windows sparkle. Now it takes me a whole day to deep clean a room I used to deep clean a whole house in two days. Even with pain it is rewarding. 🙂 Cannot wait to be outside for full days tackling the flower garden and vegetables.
I take my rest beginning Friday evenings. Sunday the week begins for me .
I am pretty sore, too. I dug up a whole bunch of sod to put in a new garden bed, and it wore me out! And now I am even more envious; you have a LIBRARY!? How cool is that?
We turned our living room into a library because we do not need a living room that just sits there. We also have more books than any person should have. Actually I have a bookshelf next to my bed and always a stack on the dresser. I read for transformation books from people who spiritually mature. One discovers so much about one self and others. I stop at paragraphs that speak to me and contemplate reflect it.
I like reading here learn much . I feel I know you you are very open.
What a great thing to do with an unused room. I feel like I know you, too! And I do love to read. There is nothing like being lost in a book. I can travel anywhere and never leave my chair. And reading here everyday gives me perspectives on things I wouldn’t otherwise get. And it may have helped me save my own and other’s skins during Covid. I have learned a lot just by being here.
Yes reading is wonderful. Just think today those lost souls who cannot read or cannot comprehend what they are reading. School is failing them.

Kinda funny, but one of the smartest pretty girls I grew up with knew how to play dumb and popular. Everybody knew she was smart (straight A’s) and talented (musical), but she just seemed incredibly one-dimensional – exactly like what is needed to win those damn pageants, which she did (she was a model, too). She really avoided speaking at all times, which seemed strange, but it created this “goddess” image.
One time I was volunteering door-to-door and she answered the door. Just incredibly friendly and talkative and brilliant and unpretentious. Would not have thought it was the same person! It was, like, “OMG – who IS this gal?”
BUT that’s not the norm at all. I fell in with a yuppie crowd later in life, that bordered on the “attractive set”, and OMG – some of these gals were shockingly beautiful, but with child-like intellects. Scary shit!

Hey Q-Treepers,
Busy times in my family continue. We were excited to see Michigan make it into the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. They play again on Thursday!
Hubby’s truck driving adventures continue. He’s “mastered” some of the parking lot maneuvers & gets to continue practicing most of them the rest of the week. He passed his medical & drug tests. He also met w/ a counselor that helps the students find work when they’ve completed their training. Apparently some places hire you on at a reduced rate for several weeks of training when starting out. Things are progressing nicely but we All need God’s continued intervention to get through “smoothly”…
Hubby & I & my parents visited our middle son’s fire fighting academy last night for family day. There were multiple demonstrations of many of the things they do while training. It was interesting & informative & the outside stuff was pretty cold in a brisk breeze! Brandon was/is the academy Platoon Leader so we got to see that in action & hear from the head of the program (in personal conversation) how he selected our son for that role.
I had a brief conversation w/ a conservative classmate who was mentioning election fraud & nodding in agreement about mask naziism. I chose Not to wear a mask when virtually Everyone else there were being sheeple. We were talking OSHA safety issues & their breathing concerns w/ their equipment so it was a natural segue. The young man is planning to move to Texas soon & looking forward to being surrounded by like minded freedom-loving & second amendment promoting patriots!
We saw rescue simulated in their “tower” setting. Got to experience cadet guidance in using ABCK fire extinguisher to put out a barrel fire (Dad rep’d the family). They dismantled part of a conversion van in a jaws of life extended demo. There was a warehouse fire training room where we observed them crawling in & using the fire hose to put out the fire. Finally they “accidentally” set the conversion van on fire & all the platoons took turns using the hose from the fire truck to douse the intense flammables (they used about half of the water in the tanker for this)…Quite a treat.
Son’s classes should be over in less than a month & husband’s hopefully completed in another couple weeks. I’m finally tackling our taxes (which I hate to do), but slowly.

If I had done that when I did returns, I’d have never gotten anything finished. Taxes aren’t straight by themselves, and to follow their convolutions is best done in a “tax zone” that isn’t thinking straight.

Government is an absolute magnet for the corrupt, and always has been. Corrupt people use political power to get what the non-corrupt earn. Where does that power reside?
The way the corrupt can succeed at being corrupt, is to get into government, or at the very least, attain leverage over it.
One always hope there is good. I am living now in history where corrupted people got hold of the country. Maybe I thought US was different. Human nature is human nature and it does seem countries correct over time . 7 good years 7 bad years. We see.
At best, you can design a system to try to be fixable…and the Founders did a better job of that than almost anyone else in history.

In a somewhat similar vein, we were visiting my parents & staying in their home. This was early in our marriage when my mom was going through menopause & Dad loved to goad her about taking her (hormone replacement) pills, especially when she got very feisty or irrational…
Dad made an appearance at the breakfast table wearing just a ratty old pair of tighty whiteys & Mom was incensed. She tried to order Dad to go get some clothes on, but Dad doesn’t take orders well (except Maybe from God). So he just stood there poking Mama Bear, uh metaphorically speaking 😉 Finally she got so pissed that she stuck her fingers in one of the holes that was just below the waistline on the backside of these fashion statements & yanked down ripping that well seasoned fabric. She kept doing this around this garment until All the fabric was hanging from one spot along the front of one thigh.
Dad, not batting an eye, shifted the fabric until it was at the strategic fig leaf position & without missing a beat calmly declared “It’s hard being a sex symbol!”

Then, they use the inevitable propaganda of the “horrors” when those sites are targeted. Is it to protect Eastern Europe (NATO)? NO, Putin has made ZERO advancements on ANY NATO nations, despite NATO openly funneling arms, ammo, cash, and God knows what else to Ukraine.
No there is something ELSE in play here. This is undoubtedly corruption central (Ukraine) where we know a LOT of Cabal players have big assets and money involved from Biden (Hunter) to Pelosi and her son, John Kerry and his step son, to Mitt Romney and Bein Capital, and Barack Obama through Rosemont Seneca (also Hunter Biden) WE KNOW that George Soros has TONS of money invested, and with the US was able to install Zelensky in what now seems a coup after 2014.

initiative? NOT Saudi Arabia, but Ukraine. So we KNOW there is a TON of Cabal money laundering going on there. As I posted before, we KNOW there are vast amounts of untapped oil reserves in Ukraine in the Donbass region as well as in the sea off of Crimea., The Us and Russia among others WANT that oil, think Burisma and Hunters futures contracts. So we also know that there is OIL monies in the TRILLIONS up for grabs, is that it ? NO I think it is more. The oil there is NOT enough to risk a nuclear WWIII. It must be something else.Is it the NOW proven fact that the US not only funded, not only built, but actively MAINTAINED over 35 biological WEAPONS BSL labs disguised as “research”? Well that is certainly probable, after all IF it can be proven that these labs were not only “researching” Coronaviruses and other potentially deadly pathogens, BUT also gain of function “enriching” those pathogens as a weapon, well THAT would be WWIII worthy to cover up, because people in the US that knew, funded, staffed, and then COVERED it up, before, during, and AFTER the Covid 19 Pandemic, likely would face crimes against humanity, and treaty violations in effect since WWI against such actions, and WOULD face imprisonment for life or EXECUTION. Russia IS systematically proving that the US under Obama and Biden, and likely even BEFORE is dirty on this, and likely has MANY more stashed world wide.
But, I do not even think THAT is the only reason. No, I think that Ukraine is nothing more than a puppet state for US and Globalist corruption and plots, ALL of them.
Remember, when Trump first ran for President, Ukraine went ALL IN trying to stop him from being elected, and OPENLY campaigned against him. Then through the US state dept, and Alexandra Chalupa and Marie Yovanovich, the put out several bad rumors about Trump AND his brand new campaign manager, Paul Manafort, who had LOTS of Ukrainian ties. They used the “Black Ledger” to get Trump to fire Manafort, their crisis, was temporarily averted.
But then Trump went and called Zelensky to “congratulate” him on his surprise victory, AND to ask him to clean up the corruption is his country. THAT is when ZELENSKY, not Trump mentioned Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, and Burisma. The call was leaked and we had “whistleblowers” coming out of the wood work, ALL with ties to Ukraine like Alexander Vindman, Marie Yavanovich, Bill Taylor, and more. Trump was str chamber “impeached” for that call, a call in which HE did not mention Biden, it was FLOATED to him by Zelensky. We now know that Zelensky is NOT a comedian, he is a SOROS installed globalist, one that is BEGGING to get the US into WWII by demanding outlandish things like planes, missile defense systems, getting into NATO, Javelin Missiles, Money, and a no fly zone. Gee, If I recall Trump gave Ukraine Javelins, offered to help get Ukraine into NATO, and offered to provide money and weapons, and the DS here BALKED and had him IMPEACHED.
What is DIFFERENT? Under Trump Putin COULD have invaded but DIDN’T DARE. Trump was being PROACTIVE not REACTIVE. REACTIVE is almost ALWAYS bad. The Deepstate wanted Trump and the US NO WHERE NEAR Ukraine, and Putin stayed OUT. Now under Biden who has OBVIOUS ties to Ukraine, BAD ties, Putin has come IN and we are DYING to get in. WHY?
Because my friends, as I wrote over 2 years ago when the sham impeachment was going on, Ukraine has a SECRET. It is not only the money laundering, not only the corruption, not only the bio labs, not only the oil, it is WHAT UKRAINE knows about the whole globalist empire. Recall, I wrote about Crowdstrike, and their servers?
THAT is what Putin is after. He FIRST had to isolate and neuter the Ukrainian army (really the GLOBALIST army, then he secured the nuclear facilities where God knows WHAT was really stored there (you do NOT take over nuclear power plants in a WAR and NOT shut them down, thereby KILLING the POWER to the ENEMY for both military, psychological, and civilian pressure reasons). Then Putin secured the biolabs, ALL of them, and then he went about not only detoxing them, but also telling WHAT HE FOUND on us.
Putin has the Ukrainian army surrounded, he has the ports sealed, he has his water way to Crimea open, he has the Donbass secure, Mariupol secured, he has the nuclear and biological sites secured. WHAT is left. Kiev. It it symbolic as the Capitol? Is it because Zelensky is there (no WAY, he IMHO is under GLOBALIST protection, and NO WHERE NEAR Kiev) NO, it is where the SERVERS and records of ALL Globalist plans, crimes, players, and evidence against them is located. Why not WIPE them out? Because Putin is NOT, despite DS propaganda, against the PEOPLE of Ukraine, he is against the corrupt globalists like Soros, and his minions like Biden, Zelensky, Obama, Clinton, etc. Putin has Kiev cut off, and he either A) HAS the info because he has the servers, and the biolabs are just a TASTE of what is to come, or B)he is ABOUT to get it because he KNOWS where it is.
Zelensky set up Trump to KEEP Trump away from finding out what Putin is about to. They impeached Trump, and then used FRAUD, likely conducted all or in PART from Ukraine to steal the election, yep I am saying there is EVIDENCE of that and MORE on those servers IN Ukraine, they are CrowdStrikes, and they contain it ALL.
But Prex, WHY would they LEAVE that stuff there? Because, they are STUPID. They either thought Putin was bluffing and would NOT come in, Putin lead them to believe he only wanted the Donbass and water to Crimea, OR Putin found out about the biolabs, and double crossed them, IE they thought Putin was on team Globalist, and he would be bought or placated, while THEY still held the cards of the biolabs on his back door as leverage.
Did Trump TELL Putin of the biolabs and the Globalist plans to perhaps even take Russia OUT with a Pandemic like Covid? There was a SURE reason why the DS NEVER wanted Trump to meet Putin face to face ALONE, and it had NOTHING to do with the 5 year hoax they perpetuated. They sure went to great links to keep Trump and Putin apart AND to keep him away from Ukraine.
They are ALL in to the DEATH in defending what is in Ukraine, and it is NOT for the good of ANYONE but themselves. Remember folks, Russia was hit HARD by Covid too. Example: People leaping to the conclusion that RBG had been dead for some time and that a body double was filling her role on SCOTUS. That does not take into account these obvious truths and real-life experiences: that none of us would be fooled if someone impersonated a co-worker or close acquaintance, that none of her staff would be fooled by that either, and that many other people would either have had to be fooled (impossible) or in on the scheme without talking (so unlikely as to be impossible). THAT is not “proceeding to the likeliest explanation”; just the opposite.
Sometimes things really are as they seem. Sometimes a well-known person just dies, and their funeral is held, without their having died days, weeks, or months before and their families agreeing to wait, for political purposes, to publicly lay their loved one to rest. Also, I have no idea how it could be accomplished to “make” them die at a certain time to reach some goal, short of intentional murder.
So what I object to is people making wild guesses and presenting them as theories that must explain certain events — especially when we are operating from a position of ignorance wihtout realizing what we don’t know.
I agree that there are a lot of suspicious things about JFK, 9/11, etc. There are a number of theories about those events that do, IMO, fit the definition of abductive reasoning because those theories could be probable.

I would guess it’s because in any RATIONAL meeting where Biden (on behalf of Obama) discusses options with the Pentagon, they tell him that shooting real bullets and missiles at the Russians is a very bad idea.
This explains why the Bidenoids had to act OUTSIDE the military channels (which they DO NOT TRUST) to try to get Poland to start a widening war. The Bidenoids used the media, and the State Department, to act around the military – just like they did in Afghanistan.
The military is not doing the stupid crap like the Afghanistan debacle intentionally, IMO. Biden is CORNERED and this is why his administration has to try to act around things – intentionally creating fuck-ups everywhere they can.
Bigger still, when options are presented at meetings to do what we’re actually doing, they all sound incredibly sane, next to risking a world war. Biden and Obama know that Biden could be relieved of command by the 25th if he tries anything suicidal.
I really don’t have to invoke a conspiracy of agreement, when a conspiracy of interest suffices. Biden can really be the President, and can really be hemmed in by his own Pentagon, which likes things EXACTLY the way they are right now.

The last few summers I’ve had black swallowtail caterpillars on my parsley and dill. I’ll plant extra just for them. One morning, I counted twenty-three in various stages of pupation, and by afternoon, they were gone. Doggone birds got them.
How neat. Dang birds though.
Our female mallard i think has died. Haven’t see her for a year now.
But, about 6 weeks ago the 2nd male she brought started showing up. Younger than her. He is here every morning for his breakfast seed.
Painted ladies are VERY pretty.

Another ground report on a very close older friend. Have periodically reported on her damage and progress from the jabs. She’s the one that had a TIA, blood pressure spikes and drops, badly impacted joints, etc. after the Pfizer second jab. She did not get boosted and tells everybody about her experiences. Her orthopedic knows the score with the spike proteins/jab damages. He told her to stay away from the boosters and that he expected her to recover from the joint issues later this summer.
Well, one evening a week or so ago her blood pressure tanked as she was headed into the bathroom. She grabbed for the door and passed out. She woke up laying on the floor with the door torn off its hinges laying on top of her. She got to the phone and her son, a police officer, who lives near by got there quickly to assist. He stabilized her and took her to the doc a few hours later that morning. The doc examined and could not find anything of substance wrong other than her being bruised and sore. He prescribed some pain meds. She used the time to inform the doc of what she thought about his support of her getting the jabs when they were offered. She has been to see him for problems that occurred from them at least 4 or 5 times in less than a year. He now admits that there are problems with them. He said we now know more that we did then. Brilliant. Let’s all be lab rats so we will know more in the future. 😂 What a goober.
The story should end here. It didn’t. Our friend developed more serious pain over the next few days that the meds could not help. She called the doc again and he ordered scans at a provider nearby. She received the results today – extensive spinal compression fractures. She is looking at a minimum of 8 weeks of no physical activity or lifting other than the minimum. Meanwhile they have to monitor the blood pressure issues again.
All because at one time she trusted our government and medical community. Lesson learned.
My mother is having serious pain issues. Two Moderna last year. Although, heat is helping a lot. Her dad had the same sort of arthritis pain in the last years, so that’s on the table.
Just folding laundry is an issue, and, believe me, this woman can fold like a demon.
Out of the blue my triple-vaxxed aunt developed so much shoulder and arm pain she can no longer fold her laundry. Has hired someone to do it for her. She’s being told it’s neuropathy. More likely arthritis.

She has had all kinds of tests and has seen all kinds of doctors, and is undergoing physical therapy. But what seems really strange to me is that her back now seems crooked so that one leg seems longer than the other. She was very active before and hasn’t been able to resume her normal activities. I’ve never heard of something like this happening (though that doesn’t mean it hasn’t).
Maybe see a chiropractor? sounds like her hips are out of whack.
I’m pretty sure she has seen one.

And the really sad thing is, my mother HATES being so helpless. We’re working on a good place for her to sleep. One bathroom has to be redone for her. Just hand washing dishes does wonders for her hands. We do have Grandpa’s old parafin wax machine, and we got wax for it. Hopefully, that will help.

Thanks, giloo. We told her there are a lot of people praying for her. She’s tough as a bootjack, but it has started taking a toll on her emotionally. This is a woman that at 83 years old thought nothing of taking off and driving solo 5-6 hours to visit family and friends. Wanted no help taking care of things. When my wife broke her knee last spring, she was there for us bringing meals and visiting with my wife so I could get out and get things done. Now she depends on family and friends for the basics of life because of Fauci and the evil doers.
Thats the kind of thing that breaks independent people. I really hope she has the stamina now.

At this point, I doubt there are very few people in Washington who aren’t pedophiles.
I thought the same today. If the senators are not bothered by what they heard than one wonders about them.
One wonders why so much time, money, obfuscation, lies, deception, and effort are being spent on Ukraine. I think they’re not only a money-laundering nexus, but a drug- and human- (in particular, child-) trafficking center. WIth 10% off the top for the big guy (and who knows who else).
[ALDI-Nord, over here, has cleared its shelves of Baby Food, having sent all of it to Ukraine as “aid”. Too bad for the less-fortunate GERMAN mothers who depend on cheap yet good baby food for their children. They’re so woke it’s unreal.
Though, speaking of unreal, I’m surprised that ALDI is doing ANYTHING at all for ANYONE’S children. Since the ALDI heirs took over, they’ve been of the “kill a baby, save a tree” philosophy (aka GAIA worship)]…
That is terrible. My family shops at ALDI but my husband will not shop at ALDI here in US.
