2023·03·04 Joe Biden Didn’t Win Daily Thread

Language Warning

In the next piece I had to discuss a particular topic. Unfortunately, I couldn’t discuss it without naming it. Therefore I apologize in advance for having to do so, and apologize to anyone offended by the sight of the name.

RINO McDaniel

As you no doubt know, RINO McDaniel got re-elected to RNC Chair Friday. I hope no one has already managed in the intervening time to suppress that memory; if so I apologize for the PTSD trigger.

RINO McDaniel isn’t the problem.

Let me be crystal clear on this, RINO McDaniel is a lower-than-whale-shit, piss guzzling ratfucking shit eating traitorous rancid syphillitic cunt. Her worth as a human being is substantially less than zero, any oxygen sucked into her lungs is wasted, and it would be, no matter what job she had.

I fear I haven’t been clear enough, but that will have to suffice.

But she is not the problem…or rather, she would not be a problem were it not for others. She’d still be as I have described, but we wouldn’t know who she is and would not care, because she could do no damage. She’d just be anonymous human refuse.

No, the real problem is the fact that a majority of the 168 top GOP people voted for her. And now that has happened five times so they cannot claim they didn’t know what she was.

In spite of the fact that under her “leadership” the party has deliberately sabotaged the will of its base, has deliberately refused to challenge blatant election fraud, had gone out of its way to ensure certain candidates do not get nominated, has diverted donor money to namby-pamby candidates who have all the electoral appeal of a puddle of dog vomit…and in general has done nothing whatsoever to help fix the problems that plague America.

However that last is to be expected; I cannot expect anyone who IS the problem to help FIX the problem.

RINO McDaniel would be powerless without an entire party leadership of the same mind as her. They want this dismal performance; they want to ignore the party base.

If she were to drop dead this instant, it would solve nothing as someone just like her would be elected by those same pustulous people.

According to Charlie Kirk, about 55 people voted against her, 10-12 wanted something different but were too chickenshit to do the right thing, and roughly 100 people voted for her enthusiastically, and even had the unmitigated gall to complain to Kirk about US. Fuck ’em. Rusty 12 gauge bore brushes would be too good for these arrogant pricks and cunts.

Every single one of those hundred is just as bad as she is. In other words, they are all worse than I described at the beginning of this piece. And no doubt those people in turn have people who supported them to be state party chairs and whateveritis they call the other two people from each state and territory who were voting.

It’s time to face up to the fact that the Republican party is effectively owned by the shit-eating RINOs. We’ve got more work to do, a lot more work, to make the GOP an instrument for the restoration of the United States of America. And that’s in addition to cleaning up our elections.

There’s no point in cleaning up elections just to elect ratfucking RINOs.

OK, hopefully now you will have some inkling of my true attitude towards RINOs. Sorry that words were inadequate to give you the full picture.

The Real Fascist is His Fraudulency Joe Biden*

*Or whoever has his hand rammed up that meat puppet’s ass.

Brandon (which I will use as a term for whoever is the power behind the Porcelain Throne) has thrown down the gauntlet…but in a way where most of America will never see it. The networks didn’t carry his tirade. CNN air brushed it (or whatever you call editing the red background) for its five viewers (who aren’t trapped in airports).

Luckily for me I live in Colorado, and therefore, despite my best efforts, I probably didn’t vote for Donald Trump.

Of course, for this purpose who I actually did try to vote for will be essential, and they undoubtedly know.

Come and get us, asswipes!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3h6ZZ28QtX4

Justice Must Be Done.

The prior election must be acknowledged as fraudulent, and steps must be taken to prosecute the fraudsters and restore integrity to the system.

Nothing else matters at this point. Talking about trying again in 2022 or 2024 is hopeless otherwise. Which is not to say one must never talk about this, but rather that one must account for this in ones planning; if fixing the fraud is not part of the plan, you have no plan.

Small Government?

Many times conservatives (real and fake) speak of “small government” being the goal.

This sounds good, and mostly is good, but it misses the essential point. The important thing here isn’t the size, but rather the purpose, of government. We could have a cheap, small tyranny. After all our government spends most of its revenue on payments to individuals and foreign aid, neither of which is part of the tyrannical apparatus trying to keep us locked down and censored. What parts of the government would be necessary for a tyranny? It’d be a lot smaller than what we have now. We could shrink the government and nevertheless find it more tyrannical than it is today.

No, what we want is a limited government, limited not in size, but rather in scope. Limited, that is, in what it’s allowed to do. Under current circumstances, such a government would also be much smaller, but that’s a side effect. If we were in a World War II sort of war, an existential fight against nasty dictatorships on the brink of world conquest, that would be very expensive and would require a gargantuan government, but that would be what the government should be doing. That would be a large, but still limited government, since it’d be working to protect our rights.

World War II would have been the wrong time to squawk about “small government,” but it wasn’t (and never is) a bad time to demand limited government. Today would be a better time to ask for a small government–at least the job it should be doing is small today–but it misses the essential point; we want government to not do certain things. Many of those things we don’t want it doing are expensive but many of them are quite eminently doable by a smaller government than the one we have today. Small, but still exceeding proper limits.

So be careful what you ask for. You might get it and find you asked for the wrong thing.

Political Science In Summation

It’s really just a matter of people who can’t be happy unless they control others…versus those who want to be left alone. The oldest conflict within mankind. Government is necessary, but government attracts the assholes (a highly technical term for the control freaks).

A Few Things We Cannot Blame on His Fraudulency

I am pretty sure Joe Biden had nothing whatsoever to do with the 30 Years War that ran from 1618-1648 and probably killed about a third of the people then living in what is now Germany.

Nor did he cause the collapse of either Roman empire (Western, 476 CE, Eastern 1453 CE). Nor the ignominious failure of most of the Crusades. Nor the collapse of Bronze Age civilization around 1200 BCE (including the collapse of the Minoans and the blowup of Santorini).

However, my utter lack of ability to imagine how he could possibly be responsible for these things is not a valid argument against them, so I await correction if appropriate.

His Truth?

Again we saw an instance of “It might be true for Billy, but it’s not true for Bob” logic this week.

I hear this often, and it’s usually harmless. As when it’s describing differing circumstances, not different facts. “Housing is unaffordable” can be true for one person, but not for another who makes ten times as much.

But sometimes the speaker means it literally. Something like 2+2=4 is asserted to be true for Billy but not for Bob. (And when it’s literal, it’s usually Bob saying it.) And in that sense, it’s nonsense, dangerous nonsense. There is ONE reality, and it exists independent of our desires and our perceptions. It would go on existing if we weren’t here. We exist in it. It does not exist in our heads. It’s not a personal construct, and it isn’t a social construct. If there were no society, reality would continue to be what it is, it wouldn’t vanish…which it would have to do, if it were a social construct.

Now what can change from person to person is the perception of reality. We see that all the time. And people will, of course, act on those perceptions. They will vote for Trump (or try to) if their perception is close to mine, and vote against Trump (and certainly succeed at doing so) if their perception is distant from mine (and therefore, if I do say so, wrong). I have heard people say “perception is reality” and usually, that’s what they’re trying to say–your perception of reality is, as far as you know, an accurate representation of reality, or you’d change it.

But I really wish they’d say it differently. And sometimes, to get back to Billy and Bob, the person who says they have different truths is really saying they have different perceptions of reality–different worldviews. I can’t argue with the latter. But I sure wish they’d say it better. That way I’d know that someone who blabbers about two different truths is delusional and not worth my time, at least not until he passes kindergarten-level metaphysics on his umpteenth attempt.

Lawyer Appeasement Section

OK now for the fine print.

This is the WQTH Daily Thread. You know the drill. There’s no Poltical correctness, but civility is a requirement. There are Important Guidelines,  here, with an addendum on 20191110.

We have a new board – called The U Tree – where people can take each other to the woodshed without fear of censorship or moderation.

And remember Wheatie’s Rules:

1. No food fights
2. No running with scissors.
3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.
4. Zeroth rule of gun safety: Don’t let the government get your guns.
5. Rule one of gun safety: The gun is always loaded.
5a. If you actually want the gun to be loaded, like because you’re checking out a bump in the night, then it’s empty.
6. Rule two of gun safety: Never point the gun at anything you’re not willing to destroy.
7. Rule three: Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire.
8. Rule the fourth: Be sure of your target and what is behind it.

(Hmm a few extras seem to have crept in.)

(Paper) Spot Prices

Kitco “Ask” prices. Last week:

Gold $1,812.50
Silver $20.86
Platinum $919.00
Palladium $1,490.00
Rhodium $11,100.00

This week, 3PM Mountain Time, markets have closed for the weekend.

Gold $1,857.50
Silver $21.35
Platinum $989.00
Palladium $1,512.00
Rhodium $10,850.00

And now, they’re going up. One could make a lot of money in this market, simply by buying low and selling high, but the trick that’s hard to learn (I never did!) is timing.

Three Bodies

So far with the occasional exception everything I’ve discussed has been “straight” Newtonian two body astrodynamics. Aside from perturbations due to irregular shapes, under these circumstances an orbit is unchanging. If something is in an elliptical orbit with such-and-such a semi-major axis (size) and eccentricity (shape) at some inclination, some longitude of the ascending node, and some argument of perigee (all discussed in the first few parts of this series), then it will stay that way, forever.

What I didn’t mention is the sixth element, which defines where on the ellipse the object is. That can be stated as some time it was at periapsis, or how long since a reference time (the epoch) it has been since it was at periapsis (“time since periapsis passage”)

Once you know that number plus the others, you can literally calculate where the satellite is at any given time…an hour from now, a billion years from now, a billion years ago (if it has been in that orbit for that long). If the epoch is midnight, 1 January 2000, and the satellite is in an orbit whose period is three hours, and at the epoch the satellite was at apoapsis, then, well that’s half an orbit, so time since periapsis passage is 1.5 hours, even for some date a billion years in the future it’s easy…in this case, because the satellite orbits exactly eight times in a day, its position at midnight any day is the same. It’s at apoapsis. (If it’s not this tidy, you can divide number of days since epoch by the orbital period…and keep the remainder.) Now there is a complicated way to turn any arbitrary time since the satellite was last at apoapsis into a position in the elliptical orbit. but the point is, it’s “closed form” and you can readily compute it for any time without being concerned with all the intervening times between epoch and that time.

Fairly routine.

Put in a third body, and all this tidiness goes right out the window. Given three bodies, in certain locations traveling at certain speeds in certain directions at some time, there is no formula to tell you where the three bodies will be…not even thirty seconds later!

There are some extremely special cases…imagine five bodies spaced equally far apart, marking the vertices of a giant pentagon in the sky. If they’re all moving in exactly the right way, you’ll simply see them all going in circles and the five points of the pentagon will simply rotate around the center of the pentagon. You can calculate positions by computing how many revolutions have occurred since your reference time. (But that has to be set up deliberately.) And there are others too.

But generally speaking…no formula.

Now given that this is the real-life case, how on (or off) Earth do we handle this?

There’s no formula to describe, say, the solar system with the sun, eight planets, and innumerable asteroids, Kuiper Belt objects, comets and so forth, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be computed (in practice they only bother with the more prominent objects).

Consider: Start with your three objects in certain positions traveling in certain directions at certain speeds.

You can compute, at that instant, the forces acting on each object, because of the other two (or more, if there are more) objects. That’s a simple matter of computing the force between the first object and each one of the other objects with Newton’s law of gravitation, then adding them up. You can turn that into accelerations, and then you can apply those accelerations to the initial positions and velocities…for a very small period of time.

It’s straightforward to compute where the objects will be after that very short period of time, and how fast they will be traveling. But now positions and speeds have shifted slightly. You have new positions and velocities. So do it again: compute new forces, and apply them to the newer situation. Compute the new situation, and repeat. Again, and again and again, until you get to the time you’re interested in trying to predict. In a way, it’s a bit like a stop-motion claymation animation.

This is called numerical integration because you’re doing computations and successively accumulating the results.

There is of course a problem: Your steps won’t be entirely accurate, because you’re assuming things don’t change during your interval. But in fact the positions, velocities and forces change continuously, not step by step. So your first computation will be a little bit off; the second one starts with a situation that’s slightly wrong, so the result of it will be a little bit more wrong because it too introduces new errors, and so on.

You can try to alleviate this by making your intervals shorter and shorter, but every time you halve the interval, you double the amount of steps you need to compute. But you can make the interval as small as you need to, to get the accuracy you want.

There are also some other tricks to make it more accurate, one called the trapezoid rule and one called the Simpson rule (and there are others); unfortunately those terms only make sense if you’re using numerical integration to approximate the area under a curve; but they apply to this much more complicated six-dimensional problem as well. (If interested: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Numerical_integration. If not interested, there is still information there to read.)

Which should bring up a question in your mind. I just got through telling you we can’t compute the exact answer, so, given that numerical integration gives you an approximation, how can you tell how close the approximation is?

There are two methods. One is you experiment with decreasing step sizes. When it gets to the point where the answer doesn’t change much even if you divide the step size by (say) ten, your step size is probably so small the accumulated errors are insignificant.

Or you can apply numerical integration to a two body problem, one you know the answer to, run it for the same length of time, and cut the step size until the error is acceptable. Then you’ll have a good notion what step size will work..

I actually had to write a numerical integrator for orbital mechanics once, and I “calibrated” it by setting it to work computing a circular orbit for one period. So I just kept decreasing the step size until the spacecraft “returned” to a position less than a millimeter off from its starting point. That was good enough to attack the short-duration three body problem I was really interested in.

But as you probably noticed…you need a computer to do this.

NASA had to do this sort of thing in the 1960s when computer time was very, very expensive (and the computers were slow), so they really didn’t want to mess with it until they knew it was worthwhile. So checking out a planned probe to (say) the moon, which involved three bodies, earth, moon, and probe (and maybe–OK, definitely–include the sun too), you would want to be fairly sure what your approximate answer would be before you got started; you’d be doing this computation to get the exact answer, once you know from the approximation that the mission is possible given the rockets you have available.

So that means there had to be methods to do an approximate plan, at least one to let you know whether the mission was feasible; methods that might take a day or two with a slide rule (still cheaper than a computer back then) but not use a computer. And those methods do exist.

And that’s for a future post. But in the meantime I can leave you with some eye candy. The numerical integration method is not limited to three, or a dozen, or even a million bodies, provided you have the computing power to do it.

Our galaxy, the Milky Way, is actually traveling toward M 31, the Andromeda galaxy (or it toward us, depending on how you look at it), and in about 5 billion years they will collide. (to give you an idea of scale, the two galaxies are each roughly 100,000 light years across and they are about 2 million light years apart, so right now you can set two quarters about 20 inches apart and get a reasonably to-scale diagram of the situation,) It’s not really a big deal. The stars within a galaxy are so far apart compared to their sizes, that there might not be any collisions between the individual stars. But what will happen is that under the influence of the other galaxy’s gravity, stars will be sent flying out of their galaxy and then what is left over will coalesce into “milkdromeda.” Hundreds of billions of stars are involved. To analyze this astronomers can put a hundred thousand or a million representative stars in each galaxy (perhaps a bit more into Andromeda because it’s larger than the Milky Way) and…run the sim, for several billion years of simulation time. This is a lot of computer time, even today, but there are supercomputers that can “crunch” the numbers.

In this video, the Milky Way is on the left, and Andromeda is on the right. I’ve seen ones with longer run times, and what happens is the two “cores” eventually coalesce into one core…and about 50 percent of the stars remain to be part of the new galaxy.

Of course we will never be able to verify the accuracy of that (by the time it happens, this column will have been forgotten for 4,999,999,999.99 years), but we can find other pairs of galaxies in the process of colliding right now, and you’ll see similar looking things, like below:

There is so much going on that we are unaware of in space and in so many fields of scientific study: galaxies on collision courses that take billions of years, stars flying out of their galaxies, etc. And thanks for giving me a taste of what goes into calculating where satellites are and where they will be in the future, Steve.

cthulhu

I must be getting tired. I got as far as the apogee and the Kenny G and the humu-humu-nuku-nuku-apu-a’a, with the neighborhood integration of the bodies…..

I wonder if we’re reading the same article…😆

In the land of voodoo, who can be sure?

cthulhu

Although, that reminds me of something I needed to tell Steve recently —

Louisiana: You may not have reptiles at or near Mardi Gras

Section 34-21 of the New Orleans Code of Ordinances states that no reptiles are allowed within 200 yards of a Mardi Gras parade and not less than two hours before the published start time of a parade.

The animals also must not be within 200 yards of the end of a parade “for not less than one hour after the actual end of the parade,” the law says.

From: https://www.foxnews.com/lifestyle/50-bizarre-laws-existed-or-still-exist-america

So, when Steve is next thinking of taking Darwin on a road trip, he should keep this in mind.

cthulhu

Which is a touch of the too-bad, as I was thinking that Darwin would look great sportin’ some beads.

Attempt to rid the Madi Gras of Voodoo? or at least drive it to back alley shops so the tourists and church goers don’t see?

When I Covered Climate Change for Reuters I Thought CO2 Was Certainly to Blame for Rising Temperatures. I Was Wrong
https://dailysceptic.org/2023/02/23/when-i-covered-climate-change-for-reuters-i-thought-co2-was-to-blame-for-rising-temperatures-i-was-wrong/

From the article:

If you wonder why much of the mainstream media seem united in accepting that the world will soon die unless humans don hair shirts, freeze in winter and walk instead of driving, you need to know about websites like Covering Climate Now (CCN).

Reuters and some of the biggest names in the news like BloombergAgence France PresseCBS News, and ABC News have signed up to support CCN, which brags that it is an unbiased seeker after the truth. But this claim won’t last long if you peer behind the façade. CCN may claim to be fair and balanced, but it not only won’t tolerate criticism, it brandishes the unethical ‘denier’ weapon with its nasty holocaust denier echoes. This seeks to demonise those who disagree with it by savaging personalities and denying a hearing, rather than using debate to establish its case.

CCN advises journalists to routinely add to stories about bad weather and flooding to suggest climate change is making these events more intense. This is not an established fact, as a simple routine check would show.

It seems you can’t see or hear a report about a weather event without a reference to “climate change.” There is always some leftist organization behind the lies and propaganda.

Steve Kirsch:
Now published in the peer-reviewed scientific literature: “The mRNA vaccines are neither safe nor effective, but outright dangerous”
https://stevekirsch.substack.com/p/now-published-in-the-peer-reviewed

Executive summary

COVID-19 vaccines – An Australian Review was published in the peer-reviewed scientific literature on Sept 21, 2022.

Here’s the two sentences from the paper that everyone should read:

“A worldwide Bayesian causal Impact analysis suggests that COVID-19 gene therapy (mRNA vaccine) causes more COVID-19 cases per million and more non-Covid deaths per million than are associated with COVID-19 [43].

“An abundance of studies has shown that the mRNA vaccines are neither safe nor effective, but outright dangerous.”

Other key insights from the paper

If you don’t have time to read the entire paper, here are some of the highlights.

1.COVID-19 vaccines cause more side effects than any other vaccine

2.Not only does spike protein produce unwanted side effects, but mRNA and nanoparticles do as well.

3.Never in vaccine history have we seen 1011 case studies showing side effects of a vaccine (https://www.saveusnow.org.uk/covid-vaccine-scientific-proof-lethal).

He lists 21 of those, and they are just from the first three pages of an 18-page paper.

Thank you so much for bringing this.
IMO, this paper needs to be saved / archived, just in case ** someone ** tries to get it scrubbed off the internet.
This paper needs to be in the face of people like Rochelle Walensky, Robert Califf (FDA head), Xavier Becerra (HHS secretary.)
The PDF of this paper needs to be emailed to every school board in the United States.

Here’s another Steve Kirsch article, from today, about excess deaths in Australia being connected to the COVID-19 “vaccination mandates” there:
http://www.theburningplatform.com/2023/03/04/how-are-they-ever-going-to-explain-the-excess-mortality-data-in-australia/

In Australia
Per official figures, 97.6% of the population age 16 and older have gotten at least 1 dose of a COVID-19 “vaccine.” That means about 26,000,000 Australians.
There were approximately 30,000 excess deaths in Australia in the year 2022.
That works out to be 0.12%.
In the year 2020, there were about 1,600 excess deaths in Australia.
The big rollout of COVID-19 “vaccination” in Australia began in the year 2021.

In the United States
Per official figures, 81.2% of the total population has gotten at least 1 dose of a COVID-19 “vaccine.” That means about 273,000,000 people.
If one uses that 0.12% calculation, it would appear that there would be about 327,600 excess deaths in the United States in the year 2022 alone about 6,300 per week.
However, according to Open VAERS, there are only about 35,000 total “officially attributed” deaths related to a COVID-19 “vaccination.” IMO, this figure is grossly under-counted compared to what the ACTUAL situation is.

Let it never be forgotten that the official United States government’s position on COVID-19 “vaccination” is, via the CDC / FDA:
That “the known and potential benefits of COVID-19 vaccination outweigh the known and potential risks”; and,
That COVID-19 “vaccine”-induced injuries, illnesses, disabilities, and deaths, are apparently all “acceptable risks” to the United States government.

RF121

Very easy to sell a .12% increase as not much at all.

RDS

Agreed. “not much at all” since the U.S. population is over 336 million, so 327,000 excess deaths is “a tiny fraction of the U.S. population, so it’s not important. Now go get your COVID-19 booster shot and make sure your children get their COVID-19 shots too. We’re the government and we’re looking out for your health.”
The problem here is that numerous vaccine safety signals thresholds have been crossed by the COVID-19 “vaccines.” These are all known to the CDC/FDA but are being deliberately underplayed and/or ignored. The operative word is “deliberately. “

RF121

Tell me something that is not going to change.

The Attack of the Subversive Elites
Michael Rectenwald
MARCH 2, 2023
https://www.michaelrectenwald.com/essays/attack-subversive-elites

It is tempting, as Naomi Wolf has done recently, to ascribe the breakdown of Western civilization to the debasing of “Judeo-Christian” ethics and the reemergence of malignant supernatural forces. Witnessing the many assaults on the infrastructure and social order of the United States of late, I wouldn’t rule out metaphysical causality either. But to blame the pagan gods, or, in specifically Christian terms, to blame Satan, and not his legions, is to take comfort in an obscured perspective on the current global arrangement. To lay culpability strictly on gaseous, unknowable forces is to let the global elite off the hook.

As I write in The Great Reset and the Struggle for Liberty, the Western world is in the grips and under the control of “subversive elites.” With inordinate power and influence, these people aren’t naturally superior but have as their object the undermining of Western civilization.

They can be found in such globalist “Round Table” organizations as the Royal Institute for International Affairs (Chatham House), the Council on Foreign Relations, the Bilderberg Group, the Club of Rome, and the World Economic Forum (WEF); in their main international intergovernmental counterpart, the United Nations (UN); and in the monetary organizations that fund the globalist regime, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. All these organizations have had as their objective the undermining of nation states, the destruction of the free market, and the control of the world economic system by a globalist elite. These objectives are now being conducted under the rubric of “stakeholder capitalism,” with the WEF running interference for and coordinating the “public-private partnerships” that are ushering in stakeholder capitalism, supposedly to combat “climate change.”

Excellent essay. And as the author notes toward the end, we can only know and infer so much from what is disclosed to us. There is too much chaos, attempted brainwashing, and defiant lying to understand much of the specifics.

I have been a big critic of everything green, because the numbers never seemed to add up. But since reality doesn’t seem to matter, and since I’ve been paying more attention to Elon Musk since he took over Twitter, I decided to watch Tesla Investor Day.

It went on for at least 3 hours, and a lot of the Tesla fan club didn’t care for the presentation (it was all engineers, who make great engineers, but not necessarily great presenters).

From the perspective of someone who has not followed the development of Tesla closely, I thought it was very interesting.

It’s much more than just an electric car company, the cars are more like a means to an end. They showed how the total world power consumption is something like 165 terawatt hours of power, but that a lot of that amount is wasted during production, transport and wasted heat, and without these losses, global consumption would only require about 80 terawatt hours of power, if I remember the numbers correctly.

So by electrifying, it would actually reduce global energy requirements by at least half. They only need 0.2% (or 0.02%, I don’t remember which) of the earth’s landmass for solar panel ‘farms’, which can be located in places that aren’t used by humans anyway (e.g., deserts).

They have perfected the battery storage stations, which are in the form factor of a semi truck trailer, the biggest it could be without requiring special road permits for transport. They are delivered in ‘ready to use’ status, meaning all of the power connections are inside the ‘box’, nothing has to be excavated, no underground conduits need to be installed.

They have vertically integrated just about everything, in each of their product lines (cars, semi-trailer size battery storage units, robots, AI, heat pumps, Tesla Auto Insurance, Full Self Driving software, Robo-Taxis, the new Cyber Truck, the new semi-trailer, and I forget what else).

It wasn’t a polished presentation, but being mostly engineers, and nearly all of them having been with Tesla for 10+ years, they knew their subject matter specialties, and came across very credibly.

About half way through the presentation, the sheer scale of what they are doing began to dawn on me, and how it all fits together, and how far ahead they are of their competition. In many ways it’s not even a matter of being ahead, the competition will never catch them, because Tesla is doing everything from the ground up, while the legacy auto makers are trying to convert their existing systems.

Tesla is making huge productivity gains by doing everything, even the tiniest thing, according to first principles. The only way the legacy auto makers could hope to match (much less surpass) is if they start over from scratch and build factories dedicated strictly to electric car production, which is what the Tesla Gigafactories are.

And each Gigafactory is a leap ahead in technology and production process based on lessons learned from the previous Gigafactory. The upcoming Gigafactory in Mexico will be able to produce the same number of cars as the previous Gigafactory, but using only half the space. Except the factory is actually going to be larger, so the production output will be more than twice as much.

They have even rethought the assembly line.

All of their teams work together from the design stage to production. No legacy auto maker operates like that. It’s pretty amazing.

.
.

From the linked article: “The magic of the free market was suddenly applied to EV sales last month. Tax credits and subsidies for electric cars in the EU and China ended on January 1, and sales promptly halved.

comment image

So half the entire EV market apparently only existed because governments took money from poor people to help rich people buy EV’s. Everyone wants nice weather in 100 years, but no one wants to pay for it. Let’s all sing “equity”.

EV sales collapse as subsidies and tax credits come to an abrupt haltAmerican Journal of Transportation
The global electric vehicle (EV) market is reeling from one of the most dramatic collapses in monthly sales to date, with Rystad Energy research showing that only 672,000 units were sold in January, almost half of December 2022 sales and a mere 3% year-on-year increase over January 2022. The EV market share among all passenger car sales also tumbled to 14% in January, well down on the 23% seen in December.

___________________

Unless they are talking about Tesla, and I don’t think they are, I think Tesla’s sales are up, due to the price cuts. Tesla had to reverse the price cuts, because demand outstripped their ability to supply.

Tesla collects something like 1.4 million miles of road data every day from Tesla cars, which none of their competitors come close to. They use real world crash test data to improve safety, unlike legacy auto makers who can (and apparently do) design to meet the requirements of federal regulations, as opposed to real world crash scenarios. Tesla’s approach makes for a much safer car, and far exceeds federal regulation requirements.

.

From the linked article: The US is a ray of hope for the industry. Not because American EV’s are necessarily better but because of “better” government interference:

________________

Going by the Investor Day presentation, and a bunch of commentaries I watched since, there is Tesla and then there is everyone else, and Tesla is better in every way for the upper end market their cars currently address. The newest model, to be produced in the new Gigafactory in Mexico, is expected to sell for $25k or less, and still maintain industry leading profit margins. Nobody can touch that.

Nobody even in the internal combustion engine cars can touch that, because the low end cars are the least profitable models, so they don’t even have an incentive to spend money on R&D to make them cheaper, they want to focus on the high margin autos (SUVs and trucks).

Tesla already has 80,000 charging stations worldwide, 40,000 of them in the U.S., strategically located according to the distance capability of the Tesla car batteries. The uptime for Tesla charging stations is 98+ percent. The Tesla app is like a trip-tick, guiding the driver to not just the nearest charging station, but the nearest charging station with an available charger, so the driver never has to wait for an open charger.

And Tesla developed some sort of universal charger, so it will work with any EV, and Tesla charging stations are now open to all of their competitors. Not only will Telsa make money from selling energy to people who own non-Tesla cars, but apparently Tesla doesn’t use a dealership model, so they see the charging stations as a chance for Tesla owners to “show and tell” to drivers of other EVs while they’re charging their cars.

.
.

From the linked article: “EV subsidies in many European countries and mainland China were sliced at the start of the year, and a return of any significance is highly unlikely in the immediate future. One ray of hope for the global outlook is the US market, which is just beginning its electrification journey and rolling out tax credits thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act.”

By the time those tax credits are ended, Tesla should be close to production of the $25k model. Elon said their data shows that desire to own a Tesla is practically infinite, the barrier is cost. At the $25k level,

.
.

From the linked article: “Has the electric car bubble BURST?How drivers are returning to buying petrol vehicles in droves due to lack of charging stations.
Oliver Price of This Money UK
Eighteen-month waits after ordering your new car and seemingly unending queues to power it up due to a dearth of new charging stations being built. This seems to be the experience for many UK motorists when buying and owning an electric car.
Electric car infrastructure in the UK was considered at ‘crisis point’ after it was revealed last month that just 806 new chargers were being installed per month, This is Money reported.
This rate which needs to nearly quadruple to 3,130 installations a month to meet the Government’s target of having 300,000 devices nationwide by 2030 – when the UK will ban new petrol and diesel cars. There are only 37,055 charging points in the UK as of January this year.”

_____________

Tesla has streamlined the charging station installation process, having already built 80,000 of them. They appear to be shipped as completed “lego” units, ready to install and use. Their competition is still doing things the old way, like they’re building gas stations, with infrastructure.

Tesla shows up, offloads ready-to-go chargers from a semi at an existing gas station, sets them up around the perimeter of the station, plugs them in, and and waves goodbye.

It’s like the competition is playing a whole different game, and losing badly.

Most of Telsa’s competitors are hemorrhaging cash, while Telsa has over $10 billion in cash reserves, and they’re investing in new technology and new production and new production processes which will put them even further ahead of their competition, cutting costs and taking advantage of economies of scale.

I almost forgot, their new car models going forward won’t need rare earth minerals. They are making their own batteries now. They design all of their own software now. They make nearly all of the parts for their cars now.

After watching a 3+ hour presentation, it’s hard to think of anything they didn’t think of.

Everything is designed toward a unified goal / objective, and built from the ground up to achieve that objective.

The legacy auto makers don’t have a chance, there is no way they can compete with that. And even if they could, they’re 10+ years and BILLIONS of dollars behind.

Taken all together, it was not unimpressive.

I still don’t like EV fanboy attitude, or how many of them are on the green train and want to eliminate gas powered cars.

But I have a much better understanding of what Tesla is doing now, and I no longer underestimate them. It’s pretty amazing.

scott467

You’re very welcome 👍

It was a pretty amazing presentation!

Valerie Curren

I couldn’t sit through 3 hours of Anything so really appreciate your (rather cheerleading) encapsulation. 🙂

scott467

It was sort of like the difference going from a MSM understanding of a subject, to then finding out what’s really going on from the horse’s mouth.

Granted it was a one-sided presentation, but it wasn’t sales and marketing people giving the presentation, it was the engineers.

Added to that is the post-analysis by multiple subject matter specialists.

Many of those people (not all) are cheerleaders for Tesla, but they certainly have plenty of facts at their command.

So long as governments keep pushing EV, Tesla has what looks like an unbeatable advantage. By the time governments stop pushing EV, Tesla may have accomplished so much that it actually works and turns out to have a significant impact, not just with regard to cars, but in several other ways too.

It’s kind of an odd situation.

On the one hand you have the greenies, who are primarily Wojak Leftists, who support Tesla because it suits their pagan climate religion and obsessive need to virtue signal.

On the other hand you have people who see Tesla as a technological innovator, and an example of what motivated people can do and accomplish. These people have almost nothing in common with the Wojak Leftists.

From the engineers themselves, I didn’t get the sense of being Lefties or climate religionists at all. They seem like people who are working hard to accomplish something big, and who take a lot of pride in their work and their product.

And then there’s Elon, who is definitely not a polished public speaker, but he’s a lot more down to earth than the usual corporate CEO stereotype.

I came away with a sort of David vs. Goliath vibe.

Goliath being the legacy auto makers and all the naysayers.

But David is winning, and it’s hard not to cheer for the underdog 🙂

What no one has explained yet, is why so many EV fanboys insist that ICE (internal combustion engines) can’t happily coexist with EVs, and everyone has freedom of choice as to what they want to buy.

Instead, there is a hardcore push to displace / replace ICE cars.

Why the totalitarian “force it down your throat” approach?

I’m instinctively opposed to anything that is forced, and knowing the people here, I am positive I’m not alone in that regard 😁

Valerie Curren

Wouldn’t it be amazing if all these talents could unearth that engine design that runs on water, or something, that the Big Auto guys had the inventor of killed off & the patent buried or something!

What you shared really helped me have a better view of what Tesla & his company are doing. I admire their ground up mindset & how they are being practical & out of the box in their thinking. It sounds like they might be the Only dominant force in their arena(s) which can have some scary implications in various ways.

The future will sure be interesting to watch unfold 😉

scott467

They have crazy profit margins compared to their competitors.

Their goal is to sell 20 million cars per year, which they should be able to produce by 2030 or sooner.

If they clear 25% profit on an average sale price of $50K across all models (I think that’s low), that’s $12,500 profit for every car sold.

$12,500 x 20 million cars is $250,000,000,000 per year.

$250 billion. Profit.

And that’s just the cars. They will be selling FSD (Full Self Driving) starting at $15k and up, and that’s pure profit, it’s literally selling a downloadable computer file that effectively costs zero to reproduce to infinity.

Even if only 10% of customers opt for FSD, that’s an additional 2 million cars x $15,000 = another $30 billion dollars profit.

That doesn’t include the global robo taxi fleet, all of which will have FSD, so at least quadruple that number ($120 billion profit).

That doesn’t include the Optimus robot. If I remember correctly, the robot should cost around $25k and provide at least $10k profit each.

Elon says he eventually expects a 1 to 1 ratio of robots to people.

8 billion people = 8 billion robots x $10k profit each.

I’m not sure I can even do the math on that, but I think it’s $80 trillion. In profit. 🤣

That doesn’t count the AI business, the global charging station business, the heat pump business, their in-house Insurance business, their solar roof business, their semi-trailer size battery storage power systems business, and I’m probably forgetting a couple others.

The numbers are silly. Even if you sandbag it by a factor of 10X, the numbers are STILL silly. Reduce estimates by one HUNDRED x, and the numbers are still ridiculous.

Wall Street is strictly valuing Tesla as a car company, and doesn’t think they can get to even half their goal of 20 million cars per year.

Wall Street is ascribing zero value to all of the other enterprises, for purposes of their stock price projections.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow, that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ.

AMEN.

“…I have heard people say “perception is reality”….”

I am afraid THEY DO MEAN IT AS STATED.

Or stated another way:

The Philosophy Of Karl Marx: The Hegelian Basis

The philosophical bases of Marx’s thought were laid early and remained unchanged throughout his life. As a student, Marx accepted the philosophy of Hegel as the only sound and adequate explanation of the universe. … Thus, Hegel accepted as real only that which existed in the mind. Objective phenomena and events were of no consequence; only the conceptions of them possessed by human minds were real. Ideas, not objects, were the stuff of which the universe was made. The universe and all events therein existed and took place only in the mind, and any change was a change in ideas. Therefore, to account for these changes in ideas was to account for change in the universe.

This is why, no matter what facts are pushed under the nose of a Marxist, they will deny reality.

It is also why the ClimAstrologists used, ‘97% of Scientists Agree.’ A COMPLETELY MANUFACTURED piece of crap and a great example of how to LIE with polls:

WUWT: About that overwhelming 97-98% number of scientists that say there is a climate consensus…
This graph shows how they did the scam.

Incompetence and ignorance are qualities of the White House and US government officials.

Zakharova described the incident in the White House with the phrase “zombie apocalypse”

Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on the reservation of the press secretary of the administration of the President of the United States Joe Biden Karin Jean-Pierre about the “Russian People’s Republic” with the phrase “zombie apocalypse”.

Zakharova commented in her Telegram channel on a video in which the press secretary of the administration of the President of the United States Joe Biden Karin Jean-Pierre during a briefing at the White House mentioned a non-existent country – the “Russian People’s Republic”.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry described the incident with the phrase “zombie apocalypse”.

Meanwhile, Russia’s first Deputy permanent Representative to the UN Dmitry Polyansky noted that Karin Jean-Pierre is probably “an opponent of the United American Emirates and the ‘British Confederation’, ”

The weapons-grade incompetence is incredible.

These people really are stupid.

The psychologic manipulation and gaslighting is strong:

They are so stupid and incompetent that people see it and assume it’s due to incompetence rather than malicious intent.

They’re hoping they get a free pass b/c they’re blathering idiots, who ahem simply didn’t know better . . . when in doubt, PLAY DUMB

How does one administration get so many WILLFULLY incompetent people among its ranks? Except by malicious intent?

In short, it’s not either/or, malicious or incompetent.

It’s BOTH/AND: Malicious AND incompetent

They aren’t mutually exclusive.

To maximize damage on target, malicious weaponized incompetence.

Incompetence isn’t just an accident due to the banality of evil, some kind of bug in the design

For the destructo-Fabian left, Incompetence is a Feature!

Aubergine

How about this:

“It is dangerous to attribute only to stupidity or malice that which could be the result of the more toxic combination of the two.”

phoenixrising

Malice doesn’t begin to describe their intent … it is beyond evil … it is demonic…

Aubergine

Seems that way to me, too.

michaelh

Just as long as we know there’s no problem with the principle, just a clarification!

Aubergine

🙂

phoenixrising

I hear you Michael ! So … We should flip Hanlon’s Razor … ““Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.”?

Stupid: “… Tending to make poor decisions or careless mistakes.”

My observation is that the puppeteers running our government believe themselves to be highly intelligent, much superior to us “cattle” which is why they are involved in a program of depopulation (i.e. war, and recently ‘covid’) … which includes ruining our soil, burning down chicken/egg farms and on and on. They are obsessed with accelerating this agenda as their ‘brilliant’ schemes of financialization (grift), i.e., the Petrodollar (Kissinger’s scheme) and down and out ‘mafia’ tactics with nations across the globe … are collapsing! They will lose their hegemony, their power …

and they have made, and con’t to make, poor decisions and/or careless mistakes (the very definition of ‘stupid’) …

hubris also comes to mind …

phoenixrising

but the WH Press Secretary … IT is STUPID… no question!

Brave and Free

The incompetentence starts at the top by design. Bite-me was installed because of his incomptences. The same goes for the rest of his administration.
The real people running the country are VERY competent in what there doing, everyone else is just a puppet.

Exceptional opener, Steve.

RINOs stink, which means the GOP stinks. Which means the Dems stink even worse. There is no need to perceive that. Their words and deeds demonstrate that truth daily. Ronna is zero sum in that reality.

Truth is truth. As you explain, it does not depend on perception or personal desires.

Just like creation. It exists, it is our reality. All the other questions and answers about it are used to explain a worldview. Science is never settled if it is true science because the discovery of a truth about something such as creation of what is in evidence, just leads to more questions and discovery of more truth.

My issue with the world of today is the selling of images as truth. Which is where AI and transhumanism comes in eventually. The sheeple will fall head over heels for it to escape the truth and reality which has turned dark and defeating. Regardless of anybody’s belief of evil versus good and their sources, avoidance of dealing with reality never works out well for humanity. Ukraine and neighbors are learning that lesson in spades currently.

There are still people in the world who see reality as it is and they will not put up with BS forever.

para59r

Another twist in the rope that is part of the long chain of human existence. The strands of Left vs Right has been there from the dawn of time. AI and transhumanism will not erase that.

michaelh

We need more cities in the west that look like Tyler Texas or even Tulsa Oklahoma and less like San Francisco.

The real problem is the rain line in the Central Plains. As land was settled from the East coast inland, small cities were populated in roughly county-sized distributions from each other providing economic support to the surrounding farms. This is a fairly consistent pattern in the westward expansion until settlements reached the edge of the rain line on the great plains. So while there are towns and so forth, west of Wichita KS for example there’s a drop off in cities westward into Colorado until you finally reach the front range.

Over the continental divide, the problem becomes more pronounced, and while there are exceptions, the general rule is that the westward expansion bypassed most of the interior Western states and went to the California coast – and to a lesser degree the Oregon/Washington coast.

Mega-cities exist in part because the population isn’t balanced out across smaller cities. That’s why Illinios, New York, and California are having problems.

Texas has an advantage because it is geographically large. There are four major metros (Houston, Dallas and Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Austin) so there isn’t a Chicago or New York dominating state politics.

West Texas is less populace due to the rain line, although there is still plenty of agriculture, ranching, it also has oil industry. Lots of oil towns and old railroad towns.

However, East Texas gets plenty of rain. There are lots of populated small towns in East Texas that collectively provide a check on the big cities.

Fabians hate these small towns with the rural “country hick” feel. They want them depopulated b/c the people are capable and independent – exactly the opposite of Fabian slaves. They also don’t like small towns b/c they can’t manipulate the vote easily across forty counties. Taking over Maricopa County is one thing, but east Texas? Good luck.

A patchwork of cities with a more rural America feel is a good thing. We don’t need ten Galt’s Gulchs but dozens or hundreds of attractive, conservative, safe, healthy, family-friendly, productive economic cities that reduce the dominance of blue coastal elite cities. A Palm Beach that competes against New York and punches above it’s weight. A Frisco that legitimate refugee companies from Sunnyvale and Elmhurst can settle and thrive in.

American cities used to take pride in their can-do American spirit. In the late 1800s and through 1920 they were seen as powering colossuses of industry and economic energy. But starting in the 30s and picking up in the 50s and 60s, the cities stopped looking to their own economic strength and started looking to the federal government and its piggy bank. They started seeing themselves not as an economic backbone, but as needy piglets at the government trough. Blue cities are a failure precisely because they grift and beg for money from others rather than plan and build it themselves. Detroit is as clear of an example of this sad tale as any: The manufacturing pride of the United States that could build anything is a rusted, hollowed out shell of crime and delipidation, and there is nowhere to look but LEFTIST economic policies.

The best way to make sure shift from the old blue cities doesn’t create more blue cities is to destroy the federal government feeding trough in the first place. Stop enabling blue politics. Stop the cash flow to the cities. Stop taxing America in the first place. Stop the massive redistribution of wealth from working people to greedy interests.

Why not more rural dwellers? I would be happy for that. The economic reality is that we can’t take a massive population of people trained for city jobs and move them into rural areas without support. There has to be an economic bridge creating the incentives for people move and redistribute.

There’s been much talk of drugs used on Ukr soldiers … here is a rather lengthy comment from Andrei’s blog wherein this is discussed… read it and understand what Cookie Nuland and her C_A cohorts did in The Ukraine for more than 8 years, and still do.

————————————
https://t.me/rogers_kitchen

“Here, some funny characters in the comments periodically accuse me of “dehumanizing Ukrainians”, talking about them as if they were not people. I smile. These fools have heard the ringing about “dehumanization”, but they don’t know where it is…
A couple of thoughts on this.

In the United States, the use of the “dehumanization” technique began after the Stanford experiment (1971).

The psychological phenomenon discovered at that time was simple: in certain situations, a person ceases to perceive another person as a person so that he can be mocked, tortured (and even killed), bypassing the morality built into his consciousness.

Over time, the leadership of the US Armed Forces used (the so-called SERE program) psychological dehumanization mechanisms discovered at Stanford to process the consciousness of American soldiers and turn them into a kind of torture machines, as well as killing machines (a vivid manifestation of this is Abu Ghraib).

But … Galician Nazis (OUN (b)) began to use methods of dehumanization much earlier than the Americans. In fact, the ideology of “decency nationalism” is based not only on the mechanism of dehumanization of the “Ukrainian”, but on the complete destruction of his personality, the transformation of the individual into a humanoid creature, into a “headless beast”, unquestioningly obeying the “providers”.

In fact, with the help of brainwashing and terror, members of the OUN and UPA were turned into rabid animals (in the truest sense of the word).

Hence, what the OUN-UPA did to the Poles (men, women (pregnant women), children (babies) and the elderly) during the Volyn massacre. The Poles won’t let me lie. They collected a huge amount of evidence. And the protocols of interrogations of OUN members and UPA militants (in the archives of SMERSH) will also not let you lie.

And all that non-human, bestian, demonic that we are now witnessing from the side of Ukrainian nationalists and military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (bullying, torture, killing the helpless and unarmed, senseless destruction), this is just a direct result of the American SERE methods and Bandera’s psychotechnologies of breeding “beasts without a head”.

Therefore, when I say that the Ukrainian Nazis and a significant part of the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are not quite people, that they are people only in form, that they are rabid animals, demons, then this is not a figure of speech.
It is a fact!

As a fresh example, the terrorist act of the Ukrainian DRG in the Bryansk region. Please note that Ukrainian saboteurs deliberately killed unarmed and helpless people. They just stopped the cars and shot civilians point-blank. Killing for the sake of killing. Killing for pleasure. Moreover, given that a ten-year-old boy had a bullet taken out of his back, then the “Ukrainians” also shot at the fleeing children (the basic psychological setting of the Ukrainian beast is “fuck the Muscovite!”).

I want to remind you that when a dog kills puppies for no reason, the pack tears it apart. Because such behavior is not just psychopathy, but a direct threat to the existence of the entire population. Dogs thus protect their population from death, preventing defective individuals from breeding.

The situation is aggravated by the fact that a significant part of the Ukronazis and the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been sitting on “wheels” for a long time, they are constantly stuffed with military psychostimulants. These drugs are designed for short-term use (as a rule, for raids by sabotage and reconnaissance units behind enemy lines). If they are taken for months, then the output is psychotic disorders. In other words, the destruction of the human personality.

Therefore, once again I clearly articulate: the Americans have unleashed a horde of “headless beasts” on us, people whose human spiritual and psychological nature has been consciously and purposefully destroyed.

Against us, to a large extent, are fighting psychopathic individuals who are “beyond good and evil” – demons!”

LastPass Employee Could’ve Prevented Hack With a Software Update
The hacker exploited a vulnerability in the Plex Media Server software that was patched in May 2020. ‘The version that addressed this exploit was roughly 75 versions ago,’ Plex says.
https://www.pcmag.com/news/lastpass-employee-couldve-prevented-hack-with-a-software-update

It turns out the massive breach at LastPass could have been stopped, or at least delayed, if a company employee had updated a piece of software on their home computer.

This week, LastPass revealed the hacker pulled off the breach by installing malware on an employee’s home computer, enabling them to capture keystrokes on the machine. But one lingering question was how the malware was delivered.

At the time, LastPass said only that the hacker exploited “a vulnerable third-party media software package,” without naming the vendor or the exact flaw. That led many to wonder if the hacker had abused a currently unknown vulnerability, which could put many other users in harm’s way.

PCMag has since learned the hacker targeted the Plex Media Server software to load the malware on the LastPass employee’s home computer. But interestingly, the exploited flaw was nothing new. According to Plex, the vulnerability is nearly three years old and was patched long ago.

I know some don’t like videos … and some here don’t like Scott Ritter …

if you’re flummoxed by what you see as Americans rooting for the RF … overcritical of the USA Gov’t and/or NATO – the linked video is offered in the hope that Scott’s words will at least give you a glimpse of the perspective some of us have in this regard.

Drive-by Messenger I am… I bring items for discussion, etc. In this instance I want all to know that I agree with Scott Ritter – If his words were a script, I would cite them proudly.

Your mileage may vary even after hearing him… I’m not trying to change your opinion, just hoping to explain what some see as glorifying Putin/Russia in myself and a handful of others.

As a teen I was flummoxed by the inaction of the German people to resist Hitler, to fight AGAINST the Nazis. As an old woman in her 9th decade, who loves her… THIS country. the United States of America … with all her heart. I more clearly understand what was transpiring within the hearts and minds of the Germans.

Beyond Scott’s words, the essence of which he says is FAFO … (Fool Around – Find Out), I fear Americans are now at risk of finding out what war is really about, in a conventional way … not nuclear, although we all know that is one of the few quivers left in the Cabal’s bag of tricks…

You are a drive-by messenger Phoenix and I’m the aggregator that tries to relay some of “The Rest of the Story”….

The following is long, but it’s factual information on the Prelude leading up to where we are today and provides more information as to comments made in the above video from Scott Ritter……If you have no interest, please feel free to scroll on by

2008-2014

In 2008, President George W Bush was pushing for Ukraine’s entry into NATO. France and Germany pushed back, which resulted in a compromise among NATO countries. The compromise was that Ukraine would be informed that they would be able to join the NATO alliance in the future, but NATO wouldn’t lay out a pathway for Ukraine to join NATO. – The creation of a purposeful stalemate.

In 2010, Viktor Yanukovych, a pro-Russian Ukrainian, who had previously served five years as the Governor of the Donetz oblast, was elected President of Ukraine. His future vision of Ukraine was in exact opposition[Russian Ally] to the New World Order vision for Ukraine[American Owned], so Yanukovych was targeted for removal. The US State Department and the Fourth Branch of the US Government led the removal teams. The foundation for a successful color revolution began to be laid. [it didn’t help Ukraine, that Yanukovych was as corrupt an oligarch as one can be]

The US State Department, led by Hillary Clinton’s right hand man, Victoria Nuland and the CIA, led by Hillary Clinton’s left hand man, Leon Panetta, achieved the overthrow of Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovych on February 24, 2014.

(02.14.23 News)
Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg: NATO has been training the Ukrainian military since 2014, NATO partners have been supplying the Ukrainian armed forces with the necessary weapons and training since 2014″

In March 2014 Russia invaded and annexed the Crimean Peninsula from Ukraine.
Pro-Russian citizens in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions (aka The Donbass) seized Ukrainian government buildings and declared themselves the Donetsk & Luhansk People’s Republics, independent states.

In April 2014 Ukraine launched a military counter-offensive against pro-Russian ‘forces’  in the Donbass, under the banner “Anti-Terrorist Operation”. It was renamed “Joint Forces Operation” in 2018 and it was recently reported as being the “United Forces.”

(02.26.23 News)
Eduard Moskalev, the Commander of the so-called Kiev “United Forces” operation in the Donbass has been removed from the post by President Zelensky

In response to Kiev’s continued attacks against the people in the Donbass, Russia sent in tanks, artillery and personnel across the border in a “humanitarian convoy”.
The fighting continued.

On September 5, 2014, Ukraine, Russia, The Donetsk Peoples Republic & the Luhansk Peoples Republic signed a ceasefire agreement, aka “The Minsk Protocol.”

litenmaus

2015-2021

On January 1, 2015, the Minsk Protocol cease fire ended when the citizens of Donetsk took control of the Donetsk International Airport and the genocide of ethnic Russian’s in the Donbass region continued.

Over the next 4 years, there were 29 separate negotiated ceasefires.

On October 1, 2019 the Minsk II Protocol ceasefire and roadmap for ending the war was approved & signed by all sides.

The attacks by Kiev continued against Luhansk & Donetsk citizens in “The Donbass”.

In mid 2021, Russia announced joint “training exercises” with Belarus and began to amass forces at the Belarusan border area training facilities. The gaslighting narrative that saturated all modes of media during this period was that Russia was going to invade Ukraine.

The media was so saturated with the news of the alleged Russian invasion that there was little attention given to what the US was doing at the same time.

September, 20, 2021 – YAVORIV, Ukraine — Allied and partner service members from 15 nations officially started Rapid Trident 21, an annual Ukrainian-led, American-assisted training exercise, Sept. 20, with an opening ceremony at Central City Stadium, near Yavoriv, Ukraine.

About 300 U.S. Soldiers will work tactically alongside 6,000 multinational troops for the exercise under the banner of Partnership for Peace, a cooperative program for NATO and Euro-Atlantic partner countries.

It is interesting to note that Yavoriv is approximately 50 miles from the Belarus border. Ukrainian service members were trained at the Yavoriv Combat Training Center in the Lviv region of western Ukraine right up until the Russian invasion in February 2022.

The most recent trainers were part of Task Force Gator, composed of the Florida Army National Guard’s 53rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team.

From the beginning of that training mission until January 2022, the 7th Army Training Command had trained a total of 23,000 Ukrainians in Yavoriv, said Army Brig. Gen. Joseph Hilbert, commander of the 7th Army Training Command.

The attacks by Kiev against The Donbass people continued.

2021-Present

On November 15 2021 President Zelensky gave an online speech to the participants of the G20 summit in Indonesia. In it he responded to Russia’s repeated calls for talks, stating that it is only a matter of time before the occupied Ukrainian territories are fully liberated.

Zelensky rejected the idea of reaching a compromise at all costs or concluding another agreement similar to the so-called Minsk II accord, arguing that it would only be used to rebuild Russia’s military potential in order to resume military operations.

On December 21, 2022 former German Chancellor, Angela Merkel who had been heavily involved in the Minsk and Minsk II Protocols, stated to the Die Zeit news organization that “The 2014 Minsk agreement was an attempt to give Ukraine time [to rearm]. Ukraine also used this time to become stronger as you can see today.”

On December 28, 2021 security talks between the United States and Russia were scheduled for January 10, 2022.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement that 10,000 Russian troops had completed their “training” with Belarus and had returned to their permanent bases.

January 10, 2022 – Michael Carpenter, the US envoy to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe speaking on the scheduled talks today says that diplomats are on guard for a potential Russian invasion and “The drumbeat of war is sounding loud, and the rhetoric has gotten rather shrill.

(Reminder: Michael Carpenter is the Senior Director of the Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense in the Pentagon for Russia, Ukraine, and Eurasia and has served as foreign policy advisor to the Vice President of the United States, Joe Biden, and as Director for Russia for the National Security Council. Carpenter has also served abroad in the U.S. Embassies in Poland, Slovenia, and Barbados.)

Between 2014 and the “drumbeats” of January 10, 2022, there had been approximately 14,000 people killed in the unrecognized Donbass War.

On February 23, 2022, Russian Federation Vladimir Putin officially recognizes the People’s Republic of Luhansk and the People’s Republic of Donetsk.

On February 24, 2022, 8 years to the day of the Ukraine 2014 coup, The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, initiates a Special Military Operation and enters Ukraine to “De-Nazify” the Donbass Region.

Over the next 12 months, China, Belarus, Turkey & Israel all offer to broker a formal cease fire peace treaty between Ukraine & Russia. During the same 12 months, NATO’s Jens Stoltenberg, stands firm in the declaration that the quickest way to peace is to arm Ukraine.

February 28, 2023 – the Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg: Allies have agreed that Ukraine will become a member of our alliance” in the long term.  [another purposeful stalemate…]

February 28, 2023 – the Biden White House invoked the Defense Production Act to expand production of ammunitions.

March 1, 2023 Ukraine Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Hanna Maliar announced: “Additional units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be transferred to Bakhmut”

March 1, 2023, the Biden White House has invoked the Defense Production Act to expand production of Long Range Hypersonic Weapons.

And the Donbass Conflict continues.

Washington, USA.

Phil Washington, Biden’s nominee to head the US Federal Aviation Administration, was unable to answer a single question at the Senate confirmation on Wednesday.

The questions were about the work of air traffic controllers, aviation security inspectors, engineers and other professionals working to ensure the safety of air travel.

https://t.me/VA_Nikonov/8860

para59r

Heard about this. Seeing it is a whole other thing.

Can only think that this non aviator’s contribution to the FAA is going to be how to make the FAA a more racially sensitive and equitable institution that will institute white guilt and impose racial quotas through out the aviation world in effort to make our skies more racially diverse.

In reality though it’s just the Bidenese allowing another gansta faction in to milk the public of their hard earned tax dollars at the expense of safety.

For which Aubergine’s Ultra Razor seems applicable here “It is dangerous to attribute only to stupidity or malice that which could be the result of the more toxic combination of the two.”

“Aubergine’s Ultra Razor.”

I love it!

cthulhu

Not that I am against making fools of Brandon nominees, but this was a kabuki setup. The nominee should have said, “I see you’re reading from a list. Did you prepare that list, or did your staffers do it for you?”

“Well, since your staffers created that list of questions, why don’t you hand it over and I’ll have my staffers create a list of answers?”

para59r

That might of required the senator to boldly ask the nominee, “just what are your qualifications for this job, because I can’t see a single one! At least Pete Booty said he once played with trains as child. Did you at least play with planes as a child? Please sir, I need a some kind of reason to support your nomination to run the FAA so I can at least appear guiltless when planes start falling from the sky and the 3.5 trillion dollar sector of the economy aviation represents starts to crash with you at the head of it.”.

cthulhu

You may want to review the questions actually asked. They’re covered at https://townhall.com/tipsheet/spencerbrown/2023/03/03/watch-bidens-faa-nominee-fail-to-answer-basic-aviation-questions-n2620193 .

As an example: “Are you familiar with the difference between Part 107 and Part 44809 when it comes to unmanned aerial standards?”

Honestly, this is the hallmark of an inward-turning, self-serving, unaccountable bunch of bureaucrats.

Like I said, I’m all in favor of ridiculing Brandon nominees, but this was such a lame setup that its premises should be firmly rejected. Maybe with something like, “I’m not an aviation expert, I’m not a pilot — I’m not going to do well playing bureaucrat bingo with trivia…..but I know horseshit when I smell it, and this stable needs some mucking-out.”

That said, it’s a Brandon appointee — so he’s probably supposed to slather DEI and CRT all over everything and make it more dysfunctional than it already is….

My problem is with the tactic of asking stupid, meaningless questions to generate idiotic headlines.

cthulhu

Mind you, it is perfectly appropriate to ask the nominee, “are you being appointed to slather DEI and CRT all over everything?” That, in fact, is exactly the sort of questions that political appointees SHOULD be asked.

Even things like, “what is your vision for this organization?” are relevant and SHOULD be put on the record.

kalbokalbs

Great way to get a, NO vote.

cthulhu

If you play kabuki, you get a “NO” anyway. It’s like interviewing someone for the head of the IRS, and asking about section 263(a) of the Internal Revenue Code. That is not what you do at that level. These are POLITICAL appointees, not technical — and the entrenched bureaucracy throwing up a bunch of technical whatzits means that they don’t want to be accountable to the people who pay the bills.

kalbokalbs

Kabuki or not, nominee must be knowledgeable AND conversant with the post he is nominated for.

I expect Senator’s and Congress critters to have experts that get thr politico buffed up for the hearings.

Perhaps I missed the point, again.

cthulhu

The nominees supposed to be confirmed by Senators are for POLITICAL appointees. Like how the SecDef isn’t supposed to a revolving door to the Joint Chiefs. If they were supposed to be qualified to turn the nuts and bolts, Senators shouldn’t have anything to do with their appointment.

A coming wider war with Crimea in US sights

US-NATO response to fall of Bakhmut is likely an assault on Crimea, which in turn will spark Russian attacks on Eastern Europe

FTA

” … There are two key signals of a possible US-NATO change in strategy that are perceptible if we understand that NATO, at least so far, does what the US says it needs to do.

New deliveries of special types of long-range ammunition to Kiev are the first signal. The second is the publicized switch by Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland to favoring a refocus on retaking Crimea in a new Ukrainian offensive.

“[W]e will support Ukraine for as long as it takes. Ukraine is fighting for the return of all of its land within its international borders. We are supporting them, including in preparing a next hard push to regain their territory…Crimea must be—at a minimum, at a minimum—demilitarized.”

Just a little climate change at Mammoth Mountain!

kalbokalbs

Crossed the Sierra’s on CA 88 (Kirkwood, Kit Carson Pass) early this morning, before break of day.

Highway had just opened after several days of being closed.

Numerous areas of the passes looked like that gal with her pup.

Miles and miles of orchards blossoming.

Very nice.

cthulhu

That’s a welcome change. I remember flying over the Sierras a couple of years ago and going, “gulp! So much granite!”

gil00

Lovely! Wish we had enough dams to have already captured the water this season. I hope this is a slow melt and the ground absorbs most of it.

RF121

I think it was in 1998. Huge snowpack and the pineapple express rolled in. Lots of warm rain, accelerated the snow melt. Big flooding in the Central Valley. Areas east of Tracy were underwater. Of course, they built a ton of housing there since then.

Maybe an interesting Spring.

gil00

I think i remember that. Lots of mudslides. Saw an article today that el nino is definitely moving in this fall. Massive change. Last thing we need is hills collapsing too. I remember as a kid when Malibu was destroyed by el nino. We were driving on pch and had to be escorted through. Nightmare drive.

RF121

I was supposed to do work in Montery in January but 1 was closed in multiple spots so I could not get there. Typical CA.

gil00

I think its been closed for a year.

cthulhu

I always like the length of the detours. “The next two miles are impassible, so you need to take this 87 mile detour….”

RF121

We have that in CO when Glenwood Canyon is closed on I70 due to rock slides. Regular event. Huge detour.

The heating bill for that house is going to be miniscule.

The German media aptly portrayed the essence of Germany’s humiliating relationship with America.

Yea, Good On Her! (Keyboard screwed up) Emphassis added below. Link above GWP FTA On Saturday The Gateway Pundit contacted Eric and Melissa. Eric told us they were at the restaurant when Dr. Fauci walked in. No doubt, Fauci was expecting a standing ovation, instead he received the much-deserved feedback. According to Eric, Fauci’s bodyguards told him this was not the place for showing their objection to Fauci’s policies. Eric told the bodyguard, “I was not able to attend my father’s funeral because of this man!” Eric told security, “My father could not take Ivermectin because of this guy!”
Three years after the start of the pandemic we now see that the COVID-19 virus was made in a Wuhan lab funded by Dr. Fauci. Then he bribed scientists to not rat him out.

Hey GC so good to see you how are things w/ you & yours? We’ve had a crazy year for numerous reasons. Daughter is expecting our second grandchild next month & our son’s daughter was born about 9 months ago (tomorrow is his wife’s father’s funeral). God is good & helping us through the changes 🙂 Blessings
