DEAR MAGA: Open Thread 20220519

We begin with a summation from one of our own:

JW in GermanyOnlineWolverine May 18, 2022 16:59

Have not had time to go through the comments…but just wanted to share my Q-teenth of May that offered me more Hopium than I think I have ever consumed.

  • Durham takes the stage with opening arguments
  • Scavino posts billiard trick shot with the Q of spades.
  • Was it Trump who reTruthed a meme of the Great MAGA King with a Q behind his left shoulder?
  • I heard that the Truth Social web app came online…still need to confirm
  • The Ministry of Truth is mute.
  • Many other events/signs within the last several days that indicate to me that UltraMAGA is on the offensive and gaining in intensity
  • Again, yesterday was the Q-teenth of May…a beautiful morning on my walk to work and yes…The Birds were Singing their hearts out.
  • My smile literally morphed into involuntarily laughter.

Anyone else care to take a hit off the hopium bong?

There were a number of good things posted on American Thinker on Wednesday regarding the Ministry of Truth. As of noon, they were all moot.

View it anyway.

Okay…election stuff:

Well, one Trump endorsement made it through.

Ummm…. Chickie…we need to talk.

And the Peter Doocy bombing run of the day.

Is everything OK where you are?

Anonymous Conservative makes a really good point about the vaccines:

Health officials in Quebec are investigating more than a dozen cases of suspected monkeypox in Canada, after U.S. and European health officials confirmed rising cases of the rare infectious disease — suggesting a wider outbreak may be happening globally. In Massachusetts, and Spain, and the UK. May be spreading sexually. Scientists are puzzled by how it is spreading when it has not in the past. I almost wonder if Vax-induced immune suppression might be how it is getting into people and spreading. That could be really bad as we might see a whole slew of viruses in the coming decades which would never have gotten a foothold in humans, suddenly get in and begin adapting to our species due to immune suppression from the vax.

Very interesting theory!

singingsoul1

So sad 🙁

RDS

Bingo.

RDS

What is going here is a really nasty combination of “vaccine”-induced immune system degradation / destruction, PLUS the literal creation and transmission of “variants” from those who are “vaccinated”, PLUS the (perhaps planned?) release of “new” viruses and/or “old” viruses “suddenly making an appearance.”
One cannot, given the information about COVID-19, dismiss out of hand a suspicion that this Monkeypox may be bio-weaponized.
Monkeypox and Smallpox are both of the genus Orthopoxvirus of the family Poxviridae,
According to the Cleveland Clinic, Monkeypox is a “rare” disease that occurs, in Africa, mostly in children under the age of 15. This fact alone would appear to negate the “Monkeypox is transmitted by homosexual contact” meme.
https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/22371-monkeypox
And, in terms of it taking “decades” for this really nasty combination to start showing up — one believes that the timeframe is down to months.

Same thing with the ‘unexplained’ hepatitis/liver failure in children. Probably from vaccine. Naomi Wolf on WarRoom the other day talked about Scotland having alarming numbers of babies sick and dead after nursing from jabbed moms. Many w/liver failure. They even found ethylene glycol in the breast milk!!?!

This is most of The New Year’s Eve Gang

This group of precious seniors have known each other mostly since childhood & shared many of life’s adventures, church, scouting, school, sports, weddings, vacations, & life. We used to go up to Bill & Nancy’s farm (white hat & light blue jacket near back) in the Summer to bring in the hay & the Fall to bring in the wood to heat their house.

At the farm, since I was the oldest of 16 stair-step kids from these 5 couples I was blessed to get some extra privileges earlier than did the younger kids, like driving the tractor pulling the hay wagon, driving the pickup w/ loads of wood, & getting to stay over for an extra week of work on the farm, sometimes w/ the next oldest girl, Susan.

There is Much love & history in this photo!

Dad, Mom, Shirley (her husband Joel was the photographer so not pictured), Carrie & Ken (my godparents, we vacationed with them for a week practically every Summer of my childhood), Bill, Phil, Nancy (Bill’s wife), & Marsha (Phil’s wife).

There is a wide range of viewpoints here: 2 very conservative couples, 2 very liberal, & 1 more middle of the road, leaning liberal. Most are solid Christians!

Their lives & enduring friendships filled with love & laughter have enriched Many people’s lives, including All of their children!

These people represent God’s tremendous blessing in my life!

Strange tidings afoot in Sebastian County, which is one of the larger counties in my District. The Election Commission—for reasons unknown—has moved the location of the vote tallying from the Courthouse to some other place. A week before Election Day, in the midst of early voting. The chair of the Commission has a Texas number with no voicemail set up, so you can’t contact him. I have a supporter filing a FOIA request to try to figure this out.

I’m supposed to be notified of changes like this, but I wasn’t, because of course I wasn’t.

I’ve also heard several people from different counties say that they had to check their ballots after the machine printed them, and there were differences from the choices they had made. So people, PLEASE double check your ballots before you hand them in.

NOTHING to substantiate this next one. With everything else going to crap, may as well be true.

Ram Forum. Some guy talking about diesel fuel shortage, gas prices, baby formula, fertilzer…

Then he drops a one liner. He read, a food / cooking oil shortage is in the cards.

No link. No reference. He did state he knows fuel oil and cooking oil not from the same source. (Yea, them Ram owners are a brilliant lot:-)

No one followed up with comments either way, on the incoming cooking oil shortage thought.

Nor'easter

Wondering if this came up in relation to the “conversion kits” that enable Diesel engines to run on vegetable oils ?

kalbokalbs

Yea, no idea.

It’s been quite awhile since I read or heard about converting vegetable oil to something useful for diesel engines. Back, several years, it was used vegetable oil from restaurants.

TheseTruths

I found this from the UK:
Why is there a cooking oil shortage? Supermarket limits on olive oil, sunflower oil and rapeseed oil explainedhttps://www.nationalworld.com/lifestyle/food-and-drink/why-cooking-oil-shortage-supermarket-limits-olive-oil-sunflower-oil-rapeseed-oil-explained-3666031

Several major UK supermarkets have been forced to limit the amount of cooking oil shoppers can purchase.

Supplies of olive oil, sunflower oil and rapeseed oil – all of which are also key ingredients in many food products – are now being rationed at retailers including: TescoMorrisons and Waitrose…

Both countries [Ukraine, Russia] are key suppliers of sunflower and rapeseed oil – two products which are not only used in cooking oils but are key ingredients in many food products, like mayonnaise and crisps.

In fact, Russia and Ukraine are responsible for between 60% to 78% of the world’s sunflower oil supply…

Given the widespread destruction in Ukraine and the displacement of millions of its citizens, there’s a lot of uncertainty over how much of either crop will be planted and harvested in 2022.

This uncertainty – mixed with a near-total halt to shipments out of Ukraine – has meant both cooking oils are now in shorter supply in supermarkets, while substitutes like olive oil are struggling to keep up with demand.

Wolf Moon

Sadie Slays

I’ve suspected for awhile now that there will eventually be a cooking oil shortage and have made sure to stay well stocked. IMO, there are a few concerning factors:

1) Most canola oil comes from Canada (it’s literally in the name). Think back to the border vaccine mandates, and now the high gas prices to truck the oil across the border. Earlier this year when SD was making apocalyptic warnings about supply chain issues from Canada, I figured it would lead to a canola oil shortage. My local supermarket has definitely had lower inventory on this over the past few weeks. They were out of canola oil entirely on one visit about a month ago.

2) Ukraine and Russia are leading producers of sunflower oil. Obviously that mess is going to affect harvests, inventory, and prices. You might not use sunflower oil, but it’s a common cooking oil in Eastern Europe. If Europeans and industrial producers switch to some other oil like canola, then that’s going to exhaust supplies of other cooking oils that you might use.

3) Vegetable oil is made from soy. We’ve all heard about American farmers getting hit hard with fertilizer shortages, fuel prices, large soybean processors getting burned down. Don’t know if there will be a shortage, but a price increase is likely.

And for the “Well, I use olive/coconut/peanut oil and not that GMO stuff,” I hear ya, but a lot of other people, restaurants, and industrial producers are going to switch to those oils if the GMO stuff isn’t available. It’ll affect you whether you’re avoiding GMO oil or not.

Hawley (R-MO)

Lee (R-UT)

Lummis (R-WY)

Marshall (R-KS)

Paul (R-KY)

Tuberville (R-AL)

Wolf Moon

Tuberville is much more MAGA than I thought! Trump was RIGHT!

TheseTruths

I’ve been wondering about Ted Cruz, who wanted to be our conservative president in 2016. Here he explains his support of the aid package. I don’t know…
https://www.cruz.senate.gov/newsroom/press-releases/cruz-delivers-floor-speech-explaining-american-national-security-reasons-for-supporting-ukraine

He gave several key reasons why a vote for Ukrainian aid is in America’s best interests:

● The bill includes almost $9 billion to replenish U.S. stockpiles, which have become dangerously depleted, directly endangering the national security of the United States and our allies.

  ● Putin is trying to seize control of energy. If he’s successful, it will be felt by Americans filling up their cars with gas or trying to heat their homes in the winter.

 ● If Putin wins in Ukraine, it will confirm for Xi that he can confidently invade Taiwan, seizing control of the global supply of semiconductors. The results would be catastrophic for U.S. supply chains and the price of each and every product Americans purchase.

● If China were to conquer Taiwan, it would give the Chinese Communist Party a stranglehold on the global supply of semiconductors.

● It is simply impossible to overstate the utter catastrophe that would impose on Americans. Overnight, it would be impossible to acquire or repair everything we rely on in modern life.

Senator Cruz said:

I emphatically agree that President Biden and congressional Democrats have failed on the issues here at home that Texans and Americans rightly care about and we should fix. Right now we have a raging border crisis that President Biden won’t do a thing about, with skyrocketing inflation, with gas prices at record highs. We have a baby formula shortage that has left parents all over the country scrambling to try to feed their babies.

These are real problems that the Democrats caused and now refuse to even try to fix, and in multiple instances such as gas prices, these are problems that Democrats have deliberately made worse, inflicting pain on millions of Americans. All of that can be true at home, and it doesn’t mean the world has suddenly become safe and that our enemies do not mean us harm.

At the same time we need to secure our border and address the domestic crises, we also need to confront the very real threat posed by Russia and by China. We can’t let the fact that Biden and the Democrats have created massive domestic and economic failures cause us to ignore threats to U.S. national security posed directly by Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.

The reason we should support our Ukrainian allies is because it protects American national security, it keeps America safer, and it prevents our enemies from getting stronger, from threatening the safety and security of Americans, and from driving up the cost, the economic damage, to Americans.

Watch the full floor speech here.

Classic error of going deeper on one mistake in hopes that it will prevent other problems, when EVERY deepening of the first mistake DEEPENS the other problems.

Wolf Moon

I’m calling it good. It would mean unaccountable fake judges within the deep state.

cthulhu

It’s very, very good, and long overdue.

This is part of the modern teardown of the Chevron Doctrine — where regulators can make up BS rules and have Article III courts give deference to what regulators say they mean.

In the case of internal SEC judges (which, BTW, operate a lot like IRS judges), staffers can do any freakin’ thing they want, and you cannot take it to an Article III court until “all administrative recourse is exhausted” — which means that your heirs may get a chance to have their day in court, eventually.

These “Administrative Law Judges” (ALJ’s) wear robes, have courtrooms, swear-in witnesses and all that…..but they WORK FOR THE AGENCY, NOT THE PUBLIC.

Wolf Moon

Thanks for the perspective!

Founders would be rolling their eyes!

TheseTruths

https://thehill.com/regulation/court-battles/3493467-court-rules-secs-internal-judges-are-unconstitutional/

The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday ruled the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is denying defendants their constitutional right to a jury trial by putting them in front of its own internal judges.

In a 2-1 ruling, the court ruled for George Jarkesy and Patriot28 LLC, who sued the SEC in 2011 after the agency imposed a $300,000 fine and other punishments in a securities fraud case.

Judge Jennifer Walker Elrod wrote in the majority opinion that the SEC violated the Seventh Amendment’s right to a jury trial by bringing defendants before in-house judges and allowing the agency to “act as both prosecutor and judge.”

Congress also unconstitutionally delegated power to the SEC to act as a legislative body, Elrod wrote…

In a dissenting opinion, Judge Eugene Davis disagreed, saying the right to a jury trial did not pertain to administrative proceedings and that the SEC was enforcing laws and statutes in the public interest.

Davis also said Congress did not overreach in empowering the SEC to enforce action through its administrative proceedings…

The Dodd-Frank Act, passed after the 2008 financial crisis, empowered the SEC to bring cases before its own internal judges and institute penalties against defendants.

Linda

Okay, that does sound like it might be good.

Wolf Moon

There you go. DODD-FRANK. Might as well be RINO-PEDO. Surely part of Pelosi’s evil.

cthulhu

This goes way before Dodd-Frank or Pelosi. This is FDR New Deal BS.

Wolf Moon

I think what is says is that the SEC no longer has the power to police themselves.

TikTok will be served on Monday with a $150,000,000, 327 Plaintiff class action RICO lawsuit. Also named are Danesh Noshirvan, Savannah Sparks, and 2 other large creators.
I’ll be at the “offices” of IBTimes (the LLC established to run the Botnet) shortly to serve them their copy of the RICO lawsuit -Danesh pays to publish blogs that are defamatory and then the fraudulent and scammy botnet owners reproduce it on sites that sound like legitimate publications.
The owners of the Botnet went to great lengths to conceal their identities -including over 25 total LLCs, various virtual offices, a shared phone number that simple hangs up on the caller… we have spent over 3 months tracking the botnet. The same botnet operates approximate 200 “news sounding” sites, and best we can tell, about 100,000 various social media paid engagement bots.
This is a multi-prong operation against Danesh. Today is officially day 1. We’re not close to 1% of what we have in store for poor little predator Danesh Noshirvan.

A quick note to those who wish for moderated members to return.

The moderation policy tosses out all posts which involve lamentations and accusations about other individuals who post here. Thus, when moderated members post, it is best not to encourage binnable posts, by comments about the conflicts. Your goal should be to get your friends back here, and to help them completely ignore people they don’t like, so that they don’t waste their time and energy on posts that are going into the trash.

Just a friendly hint that undoubtedly makes my life harder, but might make you all happier.

TheseTruths

https://citizenfreepress.com/breaking/dr-oz-is-going-to-win-pennsylvania/

On Bannon’s War Room, John Fredericks says Dr. Oz will win, according to the math. With 99% of the votes counted, Oz leads by 1197 votes.

Mail-out ballots postmarked by May 17 haven’t been counted yet. They are breaking even or going to Oz. The earliest mail-in ballots were sent before PDJT endorsed Oz and went for McCormick, but the latter batches that haven’t been counted yet were sent after the endorsement.

900 election day votes are still out in PA. One batch of PA votes came in today, with 200 votes. Of those, Oz got 105 and McCormick got 29. So Oz will probably get an additional 300 votes.

About 7,000 outstanding election day votes in Allegheny County, a McCormick stronghold, haven’t been counted. If the trends hold, McCormick might get 400 or so more votes. Fredericks says there is no path for victory for McCormick and that Oz should win with 900-1000 votes.

He says there will be a recount, but that those almost never change things. He speaks with confidence. I hope he’s right.
