MATTHEW 16:24-27

24Then Jesus told his disciples, “If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25For whoever would save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. 26For what will it profit a man, if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life? Or what shall a man give in return for his life? 27For the Son of man is to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay every man for what he has done.

As always, prayers for the fight against that which seeks to enslave us are welcome.

Please include: President Donald Trump, the Q team, our soldiers in the field, special forces, tactical units, first responders and those working behind the scenes…and any and all people with family members in the hospital, COVID or not.

And…members of the QTree who no longer participate for one reason or another.

It is quite clear, as per Wolf’s message from July, that we are under spiritual attack. Building up a robust arsenal of prayer and discipline is a must in fighting the enemy and his minions.

In that spirit, the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel from Tuesday’s threads, and the Breastplate of St. Patrick, not to mention the Litany of Humility are favorites recommended by exorcists in spiritual warfare.

“Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.”

There is no evidence of Ben Franklin ever having said that. There is no record of it in Franklin’s papers nor in the National Archives.

Franklin did say this:
“And there is Truth in the Old Saying, That if you make yourself a Sheep, the Wolves will eat you.”
https://founders.archives.gov/documents/Franklin/01-20-02-0246#BNFN-01-20-02-0246-fn-0002

Some might argue that it is something Franklin could have said. In that case, we can make up anything “patriotic” or supportive of the founding documents and attribute it to any of our founders (which is what so many people have done that spurious quotes abound).

pgroup2

Well, hell’s bells — if good old Ben the kite flyer didn’t say it, then I was first.

“Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.” – pgroup2

Alison

Gosh, you’ve got at least as much credibility as the National Archives these days.

It becomes less meaningful to keep looking for proof for any quote or fact in an era when so many institutions and professions have been outed for falsehoods and much of history is being re-written (“re-imagined”) right before our very eyes.

Learning to think critically becomes much more important, and accurate attribution elusive, when ‘proof’ proves itself to be increasingly manipulated. Far better to examine the substance for believability than to trust the so-called source.

“Question every source and trust none absolutely. ” That’s my quote.

TheseTruths

Regarding this X post from the open from MJTruthUltra:

Trump: Biden is a Part Time President who was Shot 25 Years Ago

He then says Biden was late to run because of his Face Lift

“He tried a face-lift 3-4 times”

Sometimes it’s the way he says things like this that reeeeally make you wonder if it’s even Joe Biden anymore.

No, it doesn’t make me wonder that at all. It is a stretch the size of the Grand Canyon to place that meaning on it.

Trump commented on Biden’s appearance, which is something he does fairly frequently about various people.

marymorse

Facelift or a cover story for DBS surgery? His neurologist is an expert in DBS. Check his research.

TheseTruths

DBS = deep brain stimulation? I had to look it up.

I did a quick search about whether DBS can alter one’s appearance and came up empty, but it’s an idea worth pursuing.

Trump’s remarks make a point that is opposite to what MJTruthUltra is trying to make them say. Extensive plastic surgery over the years has altered JB’s appearance. Same guy, looking a little “pulled,” etc., because he’s had “work done.” All one has to do is search for “bad plastic surgery” to see that this has happened to a lot of people, including celebrities. Some of them are really bad. 😱

marymorse

I suspect Joe may have been a candidate for DBS (programmable implant). His surgeries for aneurysms in 1988 are well known. Any DBS surgery would be a carefully guarded secret, no doubt, and might require a cover story? Just a theory.

marymorse

His neurological medical team are DoD state of the art researchers, DBS (w/ SERCEB’s Vanderbilt), ultrasound brain surgeries. Check their published research.

I had been asked about what steps one can take to improve ones cybersecurity, and replied that one should make sure one’s devices (not just computers) are kept up-to-date.

I’ve been using a router on my workbench to provide connections between computers…..and it essentially was set up the way it had been when first pulled out of the box. I hadn’t upgraded it because it was “under the protection” of another router that had been updated.

Eventually, I intended to use it to replace the back router in my room, as it is pretty modern (and will have all the tricks under openwrt), but not until I had upgraded it….which I have now done since tonight’s post opened. I’ll check it and configure it in the morning.

I had purchased this new router when Zyxel discontinued the USG 20W that I had been using — it’s a tricky little device, but too few were ever sold for anyone to develop a generic upgrade path. In addition, it has a peculiar quirk where the upstream WAN is 100-base-T while the downstream LAN is gigabit ethernet, which disinclines me from hooking it into any of my gigabit connections. It was a good unit with nice features (including security features) that I learned a lot about back in 2015, but the new router will definitely be a step up.

Now that I have the new one flashed, I might even turn on its radios.

cthulhu

To expand on this a bit…..even if you have an “all-Windows” or “all-Apple” household, you will be using Linux. Virtually every router (at any level) runs Linux. The great majority of printers run Linux. Many “smart TVs” run…..yep, Linux. I have a disk storage appliance where the native file system on the hard disk is ext4…..which tells me it runs Linux (or UNIX or BSD, technically, but there’s no way….).

Things in Linux are constantly improving. They don’t get as many attacks as Windows, but they respond to them more quickly. An up-to-date Linux installation is the gold standard of cybersecurity.

But many people do not realize that these widgets are actually computers. They treat them like toasters — unwrap them, set them on the counter, and use them forever. [This is front-of-mind because I seldom use our toaster and recently cleaned out the crumb tray…..I don’t think the Fiancee knows that toasters have a crumb tray….]

If your unit is still “under support” from your vendor, by all means use the most recent vendor update files. If your unit no longer receives vendor support, you may have to get creative. As an example, I have a selection of HP printers that can be attached to a wired or wireless network, but HP no longer provides network upgrades for them. I run them off of USB from servers (Raspberry Pi computers work well here) that I can upgrade and can control.

If your device is a router, you may want to peruse https://routersecurity.org/whatcangowrong.php . If your vendor is no longer maintaining your router, you can look at openwrt, tomato, and dd-wrt and see if you can load a maintained system onto your hardware. As I mentioned, I just loaded openwrt onto my “newish” router in the first hour-and-a-half of this Wednesday post (while I also did a load of laundry). If your vendor is no longer maintaining your hardware and you cannot load new software, strongly consider getting new hardware.

There is an old story about two old guys out hiking in a forest. They enter a clearing, and on the other side of the clearing is a bear that rears up and starts running toward them. One of them starts hobbling back down the path they came in on, while the other one cries, “You fool! You’ll never be able to outrun this bear!” Disappearing down the way, the hobbling man yells, “I don’t have to outrun the bear — I only have to outrun you!”

So many people don’t use the basic security features of their routers — they leave default administration logins and default passwords in place and use the software shipped with the unit instead of the manufacturer’s most recent version. It doesn’t take much to be in the top 10% of router security. And it’s the bottom 90% that gets eaten by the bear 99% of the time.

Last edited 4 months ago by cthulhu
cthulhu

If you want to get into the weeds of serious router security, I can recommend https://routersecurity.org/checklist.php .

One of the problems with this checklist is that it uses the manufacturers’ software — it is very likely that the unit’s hardware can do all these things in a satisfactory manner even if the vendor’s software has no way of accessing them. Replacing that software with open generic software may enable more of these capabilities.

TheseTruths

Thanks for all that info.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I pulled up to a gas pump once and it rebooted.

And it was obviously a Linux reboot.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Airline seat-back entertainment centers – same thing – all Linux, as far as I can tell, based on reboots and restarts.

cthulhu

Back in the day, ATMs used to reboot Windows — which was always a bit worrisome. Similarly, supermarket self-check kiosks.

I’d imagine that paying commercial license fees for those devices probably got old after a while, especially as Linux distros became more mainstream (they have improved a lot even just from 2015).

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Certainly in these cases its effectively embedded software. The user (customer) just deals with the one app, and can’t break out (unless they hack it). The distro could be crappy and user belligerent under those circumstances, because the user will never see it.

From the House Judiciary Committee:
New Report: How Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg and Judge Merchan Violated the Constitutional and Legal Rights of President Donald J. Trump

Today, the House Judiciary Committee and its Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government released an interim staff report titled, “Lawfare: How the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and a New York State Judge Violated the Constitutional and Legal Rights of President Donald J. Trump.” The state or local prosecution of a current or former president by a popularly elected district attorney raises substantial federal interests and raises serious concerns about conflict between state and federal entities.

The report explains the several ways in which New York County District Attorney (DANY) Alvin Bragg’s prosecution of President Trump suffers from severe legal and procedural defects, including:

• Bragg’s unconstitutional and unprecedented Russian-nesting-doll theory of criminal liability, in which the jury never had to reach unanimity as to each element of the criminal offenses; and

• Bragg’s usurpation of the federal government’s exclusive authority to prosecute alleged violations of federal campaign finance laws and the Biden-Harris Administration’s refusal to intercede to protect federal interests.

The report also details Judge Merchan’s egregious legal rulings before and during the trial that all cut against President Trump’s rights, including:

• Judge Merchan’s failure to recuse himself for manifest political bias against President Trump;

• The unconstitutional gag order he imposed on President Trump during the trial;

• Judge Merchan’s admission of plainly inadmissible, irrelevant, and unfairly prejudicial testimony against President Trump; and

• Judge Merchan’s refusal to permit former Federal Election Commission Chairman Bradley Smith to testify as to the meaning and complexities of the Federal Election Campaign Act.

Every person admitted to practice law in New York, including elected district attorneys and appointed judges, must take a “constitutional oath of office,” swearing or affirming to “support the constitution of the United States, and the constitution of the State of New York.” By taking that oath, District Attorney Alvin Bragg and Judge Juan Merchan were legally “bound to a constitutional course of conduct.” In their politicized efforts to indict and convict President Trump, they failed their oaths of office.

Given that President Trump’s indictment was conceived in legal and constitutional error and the trial exacerbated and compounded those errors, an honest review of the facts and the law will likely lead appellate courts to vacate the conviction and dismiss the indictment with prejudice. This will go a long way in restoring the American people’s trust and confidence in our justice system, although more work is ahead. In the meantime, the Committee and Select Subcommittee will continue our oversight of lawfare and its effect on the rule of law in the United States.

Read the full interim staff report here.

So, a drum magazine managed to have the German drummer for Mars Volta improvise a drum part for Rush’s Limelight from audio with the drums removed. She did an incredibly wonderful job, which causes a re-think on just how much Neil’s parts were influenced by the space Geddy and Alex left for them (and, of course, how much space Geddy and Alex made depending on Neil’s parts). It was fun, it was informative, it was some great video.

But I didn’t want Sheehy either. I wanted Matt Rosendale. But he and his family were threatened, I believe, and he isn’t even running for reelection to the House. I think Rosendale is a good man who found D.C. to be a shithole nightmare he couldn’t deal with.

Tester takes more lobbyist money than any other Senator. He is a scumbag. He is good on ONE issue, veterans, and uses that to campaign every time.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

THE POWER OF GOD

When confronted with impossible odds
With insurmountable bauds and frauds
We look to contemplation and reason
Inward outward no matter the season

After consideration of every option
The master chosen is the swaption
Of the world we should be but naught
Through daily struggles we get caught

We twist and turn aimlessly all about
Filled with anger anguish dastardly doubt
We are tossed in the storm of no return
For the Peace of the Lord we surely yearn

What can we do to detach and dispatch
The obvious outrageous moot mismatch
What have we done that we need to undo
What can we do to secure a breakthrough

What did we do at the start that went wrong
Why is it so hard and taking so long
Why do we struggle to figure it out
It all comes back to the matter of doubt

What did Thomas doubt that was unseen
What was he missing that should have been
Why did he hesitate when others believed
What did they have he had not received

We know the story of Thomas the doubter
Unfortunately some have played the flouter
Of little faith were Thomas and Matthew
By His Word we really did not have to

In Proverbs 3 – lies quality advice
The commands are simple and thrice
Trust – Lean Not – and do Acknowledge
The path made straight by pre-knowledge

Does faith precede you in all that you do
Is obedience without further ado
Do you take it up with Him first or last
Is your turmoil present or is it past

Does doubt deter and mesmerize your mind
Do you panic because you fell behind
Are you anxiety-ridden and far off course
Have you considered the unseemly source

When we dare to doubt the Power of God
We fail to trust – acknowledge – give Him laud
We think falsely there is naught He can do
Tho’ the impossible He can make anew

A time when we were too lost and tossed
It appeared the bridge could not be crossed
The mountain was much too high to mount
And problems were too numerous to count

Not so – not anymore – God is in charge
Man cannot solve worldwide turmoil at large
Much too soon the enemy took control
Before too long he’ll be in a blackhole

One man cannot right the wrongs worldwide
He can make changes with God by his side
When there appears to be no other way
The Power of God will – so let us PRAY!

Kyle and BB had an interesting discussion about Project 2025 and Agenda 47. You really need to look into the details to understand what is actually going on.

I have to go out and shovel more gravel before it hits 90F, so this is going to be very very rough (Bad spelling PGroup2)

Defected EP 77
https://rumble.com/v55vx2t-defected-ep.-77.html

Kyle & BB brought up some interesting points.

1:37:25 to 2:04:50
Project 2025 & Trump Agenda 47 — Deep dive.

This is the beginning of Project 2025
July, 2022 Axios: Trump’s Revenge

John McEntee screening people for the next Trump Admin All part of schedule F and Trump’s dream of gutting the Federal Government.

lots of different proxy groups such as America 1st Legal started by Trump 1st Term Admin. focusing on different topics. They then came together under Project 2025.
Primarily by Heritage Foundation.

Project 2025 recently put out book 900+ pages. It is a policy book on what their positions are.

And guys, I went to look at this and Paul Dhans 1st Trump Admin, Ross Vought, Christopher Miller, Ken Cuccinelli…

BB This is people who have been IN THE ROLES, not just ‘Thought Leaders’ It is a mix.

Kyle. And now comes the explanation for WHY. Their Advisory Board is made up of over 100 conservative organizations. We are talking 1,000s of people.
What this project is at it’s core is the 2025 transition project. That is the actual project. To set up the next Trump Admin to be the most well equiped admin to ever take office.

To have all the best people ALREADY SELECTED, screened and set-up. Already have the game plane, staff, Aides, Legal crew… Hit the ground running.

That is what Project 2025 is really about and that is why the Democrats F..KING HATE Project 2025. It is the F…King dagger to their Admin State.

It is the vehicle that brings in the next Trump Admin. And equips it with the staff so Trump can do all the things that he is setting up on his website as Agenda 47.
Agenda 47 is Trumps OFFICIAL position for what he wants to do. Trump as a candidate has to be very careful who he associates with and who he lets speak for him.

Since Project 2025 has over 100 organizations and thousands of people, some of whom Trump does not agree with, he can not acknowledge them.

This is like a giant think tank that is pre-gaming the next Trump Admin…

BB then brings up an interesting point. There are all these OLD Supreme Court cases that get in the way of implementing Project 2025. [Kyle laughs]… OH WAIT…You mean to tell me that Project 2025 laid out by many of Trump’s old Admin, narative deployments, Agenda 47 is the political deployment,…

You mean to tell me they laid out all of these scenarios of what they wanted to do, in a time in which LEGALLY and Constitutionally they would not have been allowed to. So they created their whole frame work… built on a platform that was illegal. AND NOW IT’s LEGAL? As of last week. [Kyle laughs] Because of Supreme Court Justices, Donald Trump appointed?…..

Kyle I can show you exactly that.

The Hill Democrats launch effort to counter conservatives’ sweeping ‘Project 2025’

About 4 weeks later Trump posts:

“I know nothing about Project 2025. I have no idea who is behind it. I disagree with some of the things they are saying and some of the things they are saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal. Anything they do, I wish them luck, but I have nothing to do with them.”

Kyle breaks it down:
I know nothing about Project 2025. — Of course he is aware of it.
I have no idea who is behind it. — Of course he does.

I disagree with some of the things they are saying and some of the things they are saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal. — there are 1000s of people and some are nutters, so this is true.

I have nothing to do with them.” — That HAS TO BE TRUE, legally as a candidate.

By puting out the Truth, Trump highlighted Project 2025 and BAITED the Democrats into covering again.

Kyle does not like the statement because it can be twisted and toss it to their followers, but we understand it.

BB has an addition. It is a think tank, it is almost a beta test when it is deployed. It is the narrative lead where they go out and deploy narratives. “Here is what we want to do”

Thank you for that. I had forgotten what Project 2025 was about, and this explains it.

To set up the next Trump Admin to be the most well equiped admin to ever take office.

To have all the best people ALREADY SELECTED, screened and set-up. Already have the game plane, staff, Aides, Legal crew… Hit the ground running.

It looks as if Trump is not coordinating with them since he does not endorse it. I hope the communication lines with him will be open when he gets into office again — or before, because candidates for positions are considered in advance. I also hope they are not putting forth RINOs.

Gail Combs

THE NAMES tell you these are Trump’s people. The Biggy for me is STEPHEN MILLER who was ‘lent’ to POTUS Trump by the Silent Assassin, Jeff Sessions.

From what I can tell, this was sort of a Brain Storming Session and as BB said some of the ideas are being ‘Beta Tested’ by people like Steve Bannon. That is why Steve Bannon was taken out at the critical time, just before the election.

In a ‘ Brain Storming Session’ ALL ideas are welcome no matter how far out or silly because they could trigger an important thought. It is very far from a ‘finished product’ so Tump would have to distance himself before the final winnowing. Actually I think of Agenda 47 as the distillation of Project 2025, with Project 2025 containing the details.

I don’t know. Robert Baker

On Sunday there was some discussion on the translation of Scriptures and how the differing manuscripts of the New Testament may contribute to our understanding of the message of Bible. I have included a section of my reading from today because it gives a perspective that may have not yet been considered. I hope that some find it useful for consideration.

For some Christians, seeking to understand the production of the New Testament may seem unnecessary. The essential issue is the final product and its inspiration. According to that frame of mind, if the written words of Scripture are inspired, why does it matter how they came to be? But the two issues are not as easily separated as one might think. Process determines much about product. Peter, for example, discusses the process as part of his affirmation of the product. He declares that Scripture was not of human creation but was the product of “men being moved by the Holy Spirit and speaking from God” (2 Pet 1:21). Peter’s focus was the oral precursor to written Scripture. (For further discussion, see proposition 18.) So it is important that we give careful thought to process.

SUMMARY OF THE FORMATION OF THE NEW TESTAMENT

Written texts in the world of the New Testament took form in a culture that was both oral and communal. Although genres like poetry, history and philosophy would eventually be recorded in written form, they were oral first. Since the majority of the population only engaged with texts and traditions aurally, oral texts were especially appropriate. Gradually, however, committing texts to writing became common. But orality and textuality—though differences existed between the two—were essentially siblings. We can get a sense of that by reviewing how oral and written texts were composed.
Texts typically came into being as oral presentations. That is, storytellers and speakers formed in their minds the content they wanted to communicate along with the words to express the content, often building on what someone before them had communicated. It was a communal process as leaders of a community told and retold the stories important to the group’s identity. Repetition and memory were indispensable in the culture of oral transmission.
Oral texts were “published” in performance. The primary intent of oral texts was performance, and in many cases the only intent. Presentations were an act of preserving the oral documents and making them available to a wider audience. Written texts were not necessary to publish a text.
Once oral texts were inscribed in written form, little changed. The written texts continued to be performed in communities as if they were oral texts. And written texts did not supplant oral texts; oral and written forms could have equal place, like brother and sister. Since both were performed orally and received aurally, there was little distinction between them. Rarely if ever did an author write thinking his audience would read his written text; he expected them to hear it. Reading texts privately—common in modern culture—was rare in ancient culture.
The performers of texts, whether the texts were oral or written, played a principal role in the reception of the texts by the hearers. What hearers understood from a presentation depended in part on the reader/performer, for every performance included some measure of interpretation. Performers who prepared well were able to present a text more effectively.
In the absence of written sources, authors depended on what they could learn by hearing. Historians acknowledged that they were reliant on oral sources; philosophers only put their philosophical principles into writing after they had worked them out in oral discourses; and the written records of Jesus’ words were based on his oral communication, often in dialogue with his disciples and opponents. Without the oral texts composed and preserved by various communities, written texts would have been very different, if they would have existed at all.
Ancient historians recognized that variations were unavoidable when drawing from oral sources, and without scripts of speeches they reconstructed what speakers likely said, though the style of the author shows through in the speeches. But these issues did not negate the value of writing history nor impinge on the authors’ accomplishing their purposes.
All of this points to a significant thesis: oral and communal culture is more than background to supplement our understanding of ancient texts; it is foreground. Orality is fundamentally a different worldview. If we fail to appreciate ancient communicative processes and do not make room for the uniqueness of oral culture, then we put our understanding of ancient texts in jeopardy. Since orality is counterintuitive to the modern worldview of print culture, most of us will continue to find it difficult to comprehend all the implications.
As we might not have expected, Jesus and his followers were completely in sync with the oral dimensions of their culture. Neither he nor they cut against the grain of orality. Jesus embraced the cognitive environment, using—like philosophers and rabbis—oral texts rather than written. His message was radical; his method of communicating was routine. The importance of his message did not require that it be written down, either by him or by his disciples.
Although Jesus left behind only oral texts, his message was no less authoritative. He affirmed the divine source of his speech and the permanence of his words. He empowered his disciples to continue proclaiming the oral forms of the gospel, and Luke records in the book of Acts that his followers did as instructed. Authority did not begin in written text, nor is it clear from what’s stated in the New Testament that its authority would eventually culminate in written text, though in retrospect, under divine guidance it did.
A characteristic of oral culture was the recognition that exact wording was rarely possible and usually unnecessary to represent truth reliably. Variants were intrinsic in the transmission of oral texts. This was not a case of misrepresenting the truth, because the truthfulness of oral texts was important to the identity of communities and the preservation of their values.
The variants that appear among the Gospels are witness to the flexibility in the transmission process. The essence was preserved, though precise wording and fixed details may not have been. The variants that appear in the early manuscripts of the New Testament also attest to the Christian community’s acceptance of variation within the records of Jesus’ life and ministry. Whether oral or written, the texts preserved what Jesus said and did.
The core value of the New Testament pertaining to communication was orality, not textuality. Throughout the Gospels, Acts and Letters, the focus was oral texts. Accounts of the words and deeds of Jesus were probably told and retold thousands of times in hundreds of communities in the first century. Though on the surface it may seem that writing letters constituted a significant shift away from orality and toward textuality, the letters themselves demonstrate the opposite. Oral texts are mentioned frequently, and letters were in lieu of oral communication.
When and how the oral texts of the Gospels and Acts were committed to writing is a lost world. It was probably a gradual process, with various people involved in turning oral texts into written ones. As is suggested by the evidence from early manuscripts, even when initial written texts of the Gospels were in existence, what copyists knew from oral texts influenced how they made copies of written texts.

That is not something we think about much today. We can carry the entire written Word on our persons, on our phones, and do not have to rely on oral accounts.

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

…even that which was passed down orally and written down at a later date.

If the book I am reading is accurate in its thesis, all Scripture was passed down orally. The scripture that Paul was referencing was the Old Testament and when Paul quotes Scripture most of the time the phrasing follows the Septuagint.

In the case of Paul, his quotations seem to match the Septuagint more often than the Hebrew text. But even more frequently, neither the Septuagint nor the Hebrew text seems to be his source. Perhaps he recalled verses from memory, or adapted a verse for the point he was making, or paraphrased a verse. As Moisés Silva sums up the situation: “Certainly the apostle feels no compulsion in every instance to reproduce texts exactly.”

IIRC the construct of ‘verses’ began with the King James version.

The books of Moses in Hebrew have no verses AFAIK.

But I am no scholar, as the shallow depth of my knowledge is shown by my previous comments in this vein.

Robert Baker

It is my understanding that the Greek manuscripts for the New Testament have no spaces between words, no punctuation marks, and no capital letters. The translation history of Scripture is fascinating. It is easy to see why someone can devote the entirety of their career to the exercise. I hasten to add that I no Scholar of any stripe but I do have an interest in ancient Near Eastern history and culture.

Actually, a man named William Whittingham first added verses in an English translation in 1557. Chapters were added when the Geneva Bible was published in 1560:

“The verse divisions that we use today are based on the work of Robert Estienne – who produced a 1555 Vulgate that was the first Bible to include the verse numbers integrated into the text.

The first English Bible to use the verses was a translation by William Whittingham in 1557. The first English Bible to use both the chapter and verse divisions was the Geneva Bible, published in 1560 by Sir Rowland Hill.”

From the very little I know of this subject, most cultures who relied on the spoken word put a very high value on being able to repeat a tale verbatim. This is one of the reasons for poetry. to make it easier to transmit a tale.

I also think “oral text” is ackward term to us. However, once you understand the author’s premise is to distinquish it from written text it does not detract from the argument they advance.

scott467

It appears to be an obvious and transparent attempt to equate oral tradition with the written Word of God — for all the obvious reasons a destroyer of the Authority of God’s Word would want to do so.

It is taking the word ‘text’ which has a clear understanding to everyone who accepts the Scriptures as the inspired Word of God, and adds the word ‘oral’ onto it, in the attempt to give ‘oral’ the same validity.

Once the people accept that, they can be told anything, and claim the source as ‘oral text’.

Imagine if the Constitution was transmitted orally.

I’m sure the demonrats wouldn’t try to throw a monkey wrench into the retelling of the 2nd Amendment, for starters 😂

Wolves in sheep’s clothing, and all that jazz.

This is dangerous stuff.

But that makes it very fun to talk about.

para59r

If… and I’m not sure we are… looking for corruption between Christ’s real words, those being God’s intended plan for man and world, and those of the Gospel, one might start looking at the person and institutions that allowed Christianity to break out as a main stream religion.

So basically we’d be talking about Constantine The Great and the groups of nobles and groups of men that he led and institutions, infrastructure if you would, that he set up that allowed Christianity to flourish. We’d be looking to his beliefs, his motivations, wishes etc…things that happened before and after the Battle at Milvian Bridge where Constantine had his soldiers mark their shield with the cipher for Christos ☧.

It’s no small thing to hand power to the masses without state controls being retrofitted onto the new corpus of religious thought.

Constantine is responsible for setting up the first and succeeding meetings that hammered out church doctrine and no doubt had limits on how far and how much power would be acceded to church leaders and controlled that delicate transfer of power in a way acceptable to not all, but most. It was no small feat this sharing of the political, economic and military affairs of the empire with early church leaders in a way that Rome which includes the Emperor and aristocracy would maintain supremacy and was quite complicated and it’s somewhere in there where the devil gets into the details and may not of all been rooted out in timely manner.

Thank God Constantine had a nice mom! Might not of got done without her. comment image

scott467

If I was looking for some way to rationalize or justify doctrines, traditions or commandments of men, beliefs and practices which cannot be supported by Scripture, I would make something up almost exactly like what Walton and Sandy have done.

If I had a whole mess of unscriptural beliefs and practices that have nothing to do with Christianity as revealed in Scripture, and I needed a way to justify them, I would need to do two things.

1) destroy confidence in the written Word of God. The written Word of God absolutely MUST be discredited as being Authoritative, in order to recognize contradictory oral traditions as Authoritative.

Which creates a further problem, since God, being perfect and omniscient, and knowing the end from the beginning, and Who is not the Author of confusion, cannot lie or contradict Himself.

Oral tradition which contradicts the written Word makes God a liar.

.

2) elevate and promote confidence in ‘oral tradition’, first making it equal to the written Word and invariably (with time) making ‘oral tradition’ superior to the written Word.

Oral ‘tradition’ can be anything they want it to be, because it’s oral. Because unless anyone can hear nearly 2,000 years into the past, there is absolutely no way to verify anything which was transmitted orally.

.

There is so much danger in what is being proposed by Walton and Sandy, it’s off the charts, IMO.

Robert Baker

I believe your opinion would benefit from reading the book. The authors do regard the Scriptures as passed down to us as both authoritative and reliable. They do not make the argument that oral tradition is superior. If you remind yourself that Scripture emphasizes hearing the word and that the proclamation, even in our day, is mostly done by oral presentation and received by the people aurally. Your argument assumes their book is nothing more than an attack on the sacred nature of Scripture designed to make people doubt their faith. On the contrary their aim seems to be to help the reader recognize that modern cultural perspectives can lead to misunderstanding the meaning and the development of the text.

The modern mind does misunderstand the way the text developed, in my opinion.

Since we have mass access to the written word, and have for centuries, modern people don’t memorize information.

Two thousand years ago, “literacy” was different than it is now. It wasn’t could you read and/or write, it was how much information you had memorized.

I’ve been thinking about literacy in those times and what it meant since Steve challenged my thought that Jews were more “literate” than other cultures of the time. They were definitely far more familiar with the recording of events in the written word; the Old Testament was written down. Their laws were written down, too. Scripture was customarily read aloud in synagogue. And I think it’s often overlooked that Jesus, the son of a carpenter and a craftsman himself, knew how to read:

Luke 14:16-20

16 So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.

17 And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written:

18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”

20 Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him.

***

There were schools in the synagogues, which is probably where Jesus learned to read. But that implies that other children did, too. Writing, who knows? But memorizing Torah was most assuredly a thing. And the stories were recited in the home on Jewish holidays.

The study of the Bible has proved to be the most challenging study of my life, and I have studied some hard things!

Thanks for posting this interesting info!

Robert Baker

As little as a couple of decades past many scholars were of the mind that literacy in Judea was rather low. In those intervening years there has been a lot of debate that literacy in Judea was much higher than previously thought. I have not come across much on the subject for several years so I do not know which side of the argument presently enjoys the greater support. This study of ancient cultures is much like science. New evidence can radically change the argument.

Your argument that the Jews were educationally minded in the rearing of their children is believed to be true. If they could read it was the Hebrew Scriptures from which they learned. It was common practice for the Jews to put a Scripture passage in a little container on the doorpost of their homes but the Bible was probably found only in the synagogues and similar religious venues.

scott467

“I believe your opinion would benefit from reading the book.”

____________

Certainly agreed.

.

“The authors do regard the Scriptures as passed down to us as both authoritative and reliable. They do not make the argument that oral tradition is superior.”

______________

I would argue that any oral tradition which is not found in Scripture is false by definition, and maliciously so, an intentional attack on God’s people by deceivers.

Maybe not the people who follow or practice it, they can certainly be dupes, but the people who conceived it originally did so without Authority.

If something is done or taught or practiced which is not found in God’s Word, we have to ask why isn’t it?

There are really only four possible answers that occur to me.

1) God forgot something that was necessary for our salvation, so men added to God’s plan of salvation, to fix it — in which case God is not Who He revealed Himself to be, and we can all stop believing any of it

2) God, who created the universe and everything in it, and maintains it all to this moment, was and is not powerful enough to preserve His Word against the constant attacks of man, so (other, more perfect) men had to patch it up — in which case God is not Who He revealed Himself to be, and we can all stop believing any of it

3) the thing in question was purposely not addressed by God in His Word, in which case we ought to leave it alone, rather than speculate or arrogantly attempt to do bondo work on God’s plan of salvation

4) the thing in question is not of God but of man, and should be strongly rejected as the work of men and not God

I have seen these kinds of attacks on the Authority of God’s Word since I became a Christian, they are always variations on the same theme, and there is no new thing under the sun.

The authors are no doubt extremely familiar with such attacks on God’s Word, so if it was not their intent to engage in the same type of attack, they would be bending over backwards to preemptively address the exact concerns I have raised, which I don’t believe is possible, and which are the same concerns that would be raised by anyone who is familiar with the various common attacks on the Authority of God’s Word.

scott467

“Your argument assumes their book is nothing more than an attack on the sacred nature of Scripture designed to make people doubt their faith.”

______________

I can only go by how it was characterized in your original post, and I recognized the common attack vector from a thousand miles away 😁

I could be wrong of course, but it would be like watching someone paint a copy of the Mona Lisa, and recognizing that it’s clearly a rendering of the Mona Lisa, until the last moment when the artist draws a bandage over the ear and turns it into a Van Gogh Lisa.

The artist has to know that anyone who is familiar with the Mona Lisa is going to recognize he is painting a facsimile of the Mona Lisa, so if the intention is otherwise, it would be important to preemptively address that up front.

scott467

“If you remind yourself that Scripture emphasizes hearing the word and that the proclamation, even in our day, is mostly done by oral presentation and received by the people aurally.”

_______________

Yes, but in the 1st century the apostles and disciples were able to confirm what they taught was true:

………………….
“And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.” (Mark 16:20, KJV)

“And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.” (Acts 2:43)

“And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch.” (Acts 5:12)

“Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.” (2 Corinthians 12:12)

“How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; [4] God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?” (Hebrews 2:3-4)
………………….

No man can do that today, and we are warned that people will try, and we should beware:

“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” (Matthew 24:24)

.
.

I would argue that it is specifically because of the imperfect nature of man, even with the best of intentions, that every person should read God’s Word for him or herself, in order to not be deceived (by intent or by accident) by men.

To do as the Bereans did. They did not even take the word of Paul, without cross-checking what he said against Scripture:

………………..
“These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” (Acts 17:11)

“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.” (1 Thessalonians 5:21)

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15)
………………..

That is the example given in Scripture, to guard against false teaching, the doctrines, commandments and traditions of men.

……………
“Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. [8] For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. [9] And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.” (Mark 7:7-9)

.
.

“For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. [30] Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

[31] Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. [32] And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” (Acts 20:29-32)

Very interesting! Thank you.

I come from another people who had mostly oral tradition, Native Americans. The accuracy of a “storyteller” was a paramount consideration in who was chosen for that role.

Thank you for validating my vague recollection.

“Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. [21] For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” (2 Peter 1:20-21, boldface mine)

.

………………
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” (2 Timothy 3:16, KJV)
………………

The Koine Greek word translated as ‘inspiration’ is “God-breathed”.

The ESV translates it this way: “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,” (2 Timothy 3:16, ESV)

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God. Not some, not most, but all.

It either is, or it ain’t. And if any of it ain’t, then none of it is.

All or none.

God is no shrinking violet. He’s not sitting on a fence or afraid of challenge. He laid it out, and challenges every man alive to study His Word and break the Scriptures if they can.

No one has done it yet, and I boldly predict no one’s ever gonna 😁

……………..
“For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.” (1 Thessalonians 2:13, boldface mine)

.

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” (John 14:26, boldface mine)

If the woman is this bad, why didnt they vote?? Thats their job.

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/07/senate-confirms-bidens-radical-pick-judge-maldonado-7th/

The U.S. Senate on Monday confirmed U.S. District Judge Nancy Maldonado to the Chicago-based 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, making her as the the first Hispanic judge to hold this position.

The confirmation came despite a chorus of objections from Republicans who pointed out her massive backlog of trial court cases.

The Senate voted 47-43, which hears appeals from Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. This marks the fifth judge appointed by Joe Biden to be confirmed to the court, according to Reuters.

Maldonado’s elevation is part of Biden and the Democrats’ agenda to stack the judiciary with rafical leftists despite her reportedly slow pace in ruling on cases.

Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) didn’t mince words, blasting Maldonado’s lagging performance.

“Of all 68 district judges confirmed last Congress, Judge Maldonado has the THIRD WORST record when it comes to issuing rulings in a timely manner. But Pres. Biden wants to promote her to an appellate court. Why?” Sen. John Kennedy wrote earlier this year.

Here’s the roll call of the GOP who did not vote:

  • Ted Cruz (R-TX)
  • Markwayne Mullin (R-OK)
  • Marco Rubio (R-FL)
  • Rand Paul (R-KY)

Exclusive — Steve Bannon Speaks from Behind Bars: Democrats Sticking with Biden Means ‘We Got the Candidate We Want’

BREITBART NEWS NETWORK: You’ve said repeatedly that you want everyone to focus on “next man up” while you’re inside prison. Can you explain that concept? What does “next man up” mean? What should supporters of President Trump be doing right now?

STEVE BANNON: We are a populist movement—our power derives from citizens actively engaged in the defense of our American republic—we have great leaders in both elective politics, media, activism—president being our leader and a unique hero in American history…but the established order thinks by targeting our leaders they can blunt the impact of MAGA—that assumption by them is wrong—lawfare against President Trump has only made him stronger and more appealing to an even wider segment of American voters—same with Rudy [Giuliani], Mike Lindell, Jim Hoft, Alex Jones, John Eastman, Jeff Clark, Cleta Mitchell…the list goes on and on and on—MAGA is the personification of ‘anti-fragile’—resilience is our watchword.

Next man up comes from that anti-fragile premise—when one leader goes down another steps up, when one person can’t fulfill their task and purpose another steps up…whatever the cause or the occasion, in any and all situations, the next person—male or female, young or old—steps into the breach—that is the foundational power of our country and our populist nationalist movement—citizens…citizens engaged and on fire for our country—NEXT MAN UP

I think you can see a real manifestation of this on War Room—10 to 20 rotating guest hosts, tons of contributors, and the audience going next level as force multipliers—the reach and power grows as more citizens get involved.

BREITBART: Obviously, right before you went inside we had the first presidential debate between Biden and Trump and since then a massive firestorm has ensued on the Democrat side about what to do with Biden given his cognitive decline. What do you think about what’s happening?

BANNON: We have two issues and it’s important to keep them separated; first, a national security crisis driven by the cover-up of the condition of a Commander-in-Chief that only is ‘on’ from 10 am to 4 pm and then with the type of glazed look that we saw at the debate—this impacts the entire country and the world—we must get to the bottom of it and must do that now—this is not about whether Biden can serve four more years but can he get the country safely to January 2025? The House should move immediately to investigate and get to the bottom of who knew this when—the cover-up is all-important.

The second is a political issue for Democrats—the reality is they disenfranchised millions of voters by having a phony primary—the powers that be in the Democratic Party know Biden can’t beat Trump—but they are stuck and it will take a trenching tool to dig him out.

The political goal here for MAGA is to ‘toxify’ the process of the Democratic bait and switch as much as possible …this is all process and the American voter should be armed with minute-by-minute information on what is actually going on…I’m sure they will be repulsed.

BREITBART: Democrats seem to have fallen in line in the past couple days behind Biden, coalescing behind him with a few exceptions. What are your thoughts on Democrats sticking with him despite the severe problems?

BANNON: So we got the candidate we want…and the country is stuck with a non-performing cadaver.

Time to ratchet up the national security aspect of this—he’s unfit to be Commander-in-Chief—now or in January 2025…we need to know who is responsible for this cover-up..Speaker Johnson needs to deal with these issues immediately: weaponization of DOJ; single subject appropriations bills; the Biden investigations on taking money from the CCP and Ukraine; Biden investigations into his suitability to actually perform as Commander-in-Chief—and any coverup; and passing Chip Roy’s bill on stopping illegals from voting.

The House can’t take the summer off, especially when the down-ballot races will mean even more, and control of the House could determine the success of President Trump’s second term—in fact, I would cancel the August recess now and only clear time to go home to campaign… this is not a time for vacations, this is a time for focused work—we must grind everyday until 5 November—the House included.

BREITBART: This is all happening of course on the backdrop of NATO leaders descending this week on Washington for a massive summit the United States is hosting. What message does this Democrat mess send to America’s allies in NATO countries?

BANNON: What was scheduled as a showcase in front of the American people in an election year summer can be turned into a perfect illustration of ‘America First’—every major policy decision is coming directly from President Trump’s policies—to force NATO to become a true alliance and not simply an American protectorate and to have Europe stand on its feet in its national security, not be a vassal state to the USA ..the worst leaks about Biden’s lack of command presence come from the NATO and national security meetings with foreign leaders… In addition, Boris Johnson’s Tories and Macron’s party just got crushed in elections—so the biggest Ukraine hawks have had their wings clipped… perfect timing for America First.

BREITBART: It seems as though the media writ large have turned on Biden creating an irreparable divide between them. Can Biden ever win them back?

BANNON: The media know they have collaborated and conspired with Biden on some of the worst ventures of this regime…the degree and viciousness they attacked Biden from that night shows you their fear… They still have a vote—a big vote—how it plays out is dependent on how well the House forces the national security issue and how well MAGA media toxifies the bait and switch—we can force their hand on this as they are one of the pillars of the coverup.

Gail Combs

NEXT MAN UP = PROJECT 2025

Remember it is over 100 organizations and over 1,000 people. It is NOT Trump. it is WE THE PEOPLE with Trump as our leader, Bannon and many many other independents as the spokes people.

Think of it as an organized disciplined TEA PARTY ON STEROIDS.

..Next man up comes from that anti-fragile premise—when one leader goes down another steps up, when one person can’t fulfill their task and purpose another steps up…whatever the cause or the occasion, in any and all situations, the next person—male or female, young or old—steps into the breach—that is the foundational power of our country and our populist nationalist movement—citizens…citizens engaged and on fire for our country—NEXT MAN UP

I think you can see a real manifestation of this on War Room—10 to 20 rotating guest hosts, tons of contributors, and the audience going next level as force multipliers—the reach and power grows as more citizens get involved…

And THAT has the Commie/Fabian Globalists SCARED TO DEATH.

One might compare “NEXT MAN UP” with Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals”.

Alinsky:

  1. “Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have.”
  2. “Never go outside the experience of your people.”
  3. “Whenever possible go outside of the experience of the enemy.”
  4. “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.”
  5. “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. There is no defense. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage.”
  6. “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.”
  7. “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.”
  8. “Keep the pressure on.”
  9. “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.”
  10. “The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.”
  11. “If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside; this is based on the principle that every positive has its negative.”
  12. “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.”
  13. “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”

For the left, everything is about finding pain points and breaking individuals. There is no room for people marching into the pain, one by one, to do their duty.

Wolf Moon, Gail Combs, and all —

Yours Truly will remove the facade off the FDA’s authorization of the “2024-2025 Formula Influenza Vaccines” that occurred on 5 March 2024. One takes no pleasure in presenting the following:

One: The VRBPAC committee of the FDA met on 5 March 2024 via virtual conference and “recommended” the “2024-2025 Formula Influenza Vaccines.”
But — the FDA apparently announced the meeting ON THE DAY IT TOOK PLACE, not before.
And — the VRBPAC members voted unanimously for the use of the “TRIVALENT VACCINE” for the “2024-2025 Formula Influenza Vaccine”.

Two: HOWEVER, here’s the “back story” —
First: The FDA “recommendation” for these “vaccines” composition contains the following strains:
H1N1 (Influenza A, the “Spanish Flu”); plus,
H3N2 (Influenza A, except that this strain can infect BIRDS, PIGS, and humans); and,
B/Victoria (Influenza B, infects humans).

Second: the VRBPAC committee followed the WHO’s “recommendation” to nix the Quadrivalent Influenza Vaccine and to substitute the “TRIVALENT VACCINE” for 2024-2025.

“Global Influenza Programme”
Yours Truly: scroll down to the three types of strains listed above, dated February 2024 and May 2024, and click the details regarding the strains for the Northern Hemisphere.

In summary, the FDA in the United States has authorized a trivalent “2024-2025 Formula Influenza Vaccine” that has been “recommended” by the WHO; that has NOT been, as far as Yours Truly can find, been tested on humans; and that contains, IMO, a “backdoor Avian Influenza-type vaccine” in the inclusion of the H3N2 strain in the 2024-2025 Influenza Vaccine formula composition.

Yours Truly will amplify on the above:

From the WHO Global Influenza Programme website, clicking on the May 2024 H3N2 cell-derived vaccine Northern Hemisphere, details on the page, an screenshot of the Overview section.
First, the website page from which the screenshot was taken:
http://www.who.int/publications/m/item/4.-a(h3n2)—cell-culture-derived—northern-hemisphere-2024-2025

Second, the screenshot. “CC” = WHO Collaborating Centres (testing labs) of the WHO Global Influenza Surveillance and Response System.

Yours Truly again: Note what it says in the screenshot image about what appears to be “lab-testing only” of the CELL-DERIVED H3N2 culture that will be used in the “2024-2025 TRIVALENT INFLUENZA Vaccine” that the FDA authorized on 5 March 2024.
The same “lab-testing only” language is found in the other CELL-DERIVED ingredients of this “vaccine” (H1N1 and B/Victoria strains.)

AND, BY THE WAY — the WHO states on the CELL-DERIVED “vaccine” ingredients details pages that “CELL-DERIVED” can mean EITHER “CELL-DERIVED”, OR “RECOMBINANT VACCINE ANTIGEN(S)” — in other words, a protein subunit antigen “vaccine”, most likely using DNA fragments.

However, the most important detail here, IMO, is that the FDA in the United States is apparently completely in the WHO “follow my lead” scenario. THIS is the “2024-2025 TRIVALENT INFLUENZA VACCINE” that will be used in THIS country. With, apparently, NO testing on lab animals OR on human subjects — instead, “tested” in WHO lab “petri dishes” and manufactured by companies THAT ARE LISTED BY THE WHO.

Whos performing the ceremony? The lightbringer himself? Serving kids as appetizers?

Huma Abedin and Alex Soros are engaged, Page Six has exclusively learned.

Sources tell us Soros popped the question six weeks ago, and the couple were spotted recently celebrating the happy news in Italy.

“The best way I can describe the relationship is effortless,” a friend of Abedin’s for over 15 years tells Page Six.

Great question!

He’s a billionaire and psychotic Leftist who could have his pick from millions of young hotties (and no doubt will continue to avail himself of same), and yet curiously and coincidentally, he participates in what can only be an arranged marriage of political alliance with Adolf Hitlery’s life companion and honorary member of the islamic brotherhood.

It’s probably nothing 😂

cthulhu

Almost certainly coincidence.

I agree with your opinion wholeheartedly. Nothing im sure.
