Dear MAGA: Open Topic 20181216

This SPECIAL FREE SPEECH SUNDAY open thread is VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA world.

Say what you want, comment on what other people said, comment on people’s comments.  Keep it civil.  Treehouse rules, but expect lots of QAnon.

No threats or communist provocations allowed.  Though, if you do them, we get to virtue signal for the racist communist treasonoids in DOJ, which is kinda fun.  We assume that some of their FBI rank-n-file slaves snicker at the ridiculous nature of the whole thing, too, so there is that.

Today (Sunday, December 16) is the fifteenth day of Advent.

https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/advent-2018-what-meaning-how-13663762

The 146th day of next year, which shall be celebrated here as Ma Cankles Uranium Day, is:

SUNDAY, MAY 26, 2019

Great video here, complete with the classic Tucker Carlson “You gotta be kidding me!” look.

Let the trumpets be heard! Let the Letter Q be seen and heard around the world!

– – · –
December 16 is Tea Party day–and I mean the original, dump the crap into Boston Bay while wearing Indian costumes, Tea Party, in 1773. It’s generally regarded as the event that ultimately led to the American Revolution, because the Brits cracked down on our forefathers in a way they wouldn’t tolerate.
Perhaps something will happen soon that will be heralded as the day things turned around in Washington and the corrupt swamp found itself on the path to extinction.
– – · –
Anyone heard anything from France lately?
– – · –
Five hundred eighty seven days (not that I’m counting, mind you) for me on the Banned Wagon, and people are still hopping on! Welcome to all!
MAGA on, Deplorables!!

Yeah, gotta fly the Betsy Ross flag today.

Wolfmoon, I did not know it, either.

“Anyone heard anything from France lately?”
______
My hubby showed me a video earlier, where the YellowVests had brought in a manure spreader and were using it to spray a coating of manure on a Govt Bldg.
Heheh.
This was their ‘answer’ to Macron telling them to stop protesting.
If I can find the video, I will post it.

Alison

Wheatie – I saw that manure spreader today, too. I thought it had to be a photoshop. They sprayed the whole dang building. Hilarious.
“let them spew poo” 😂😂😂

wheatietoo

Heheh…nope, not photoshopped.
They also delivered some manure to Macron’s offices:

Wonder if they watched Mel Brooks’s History of the World Part I. The Paris scenes are, well, coated in crap.

December 16, 1773 – December 16, 2018 = 245 years, and America is still fighting for freedom. Only the enemy changes.

Five weeks — November 11, 2018 — since the Q post Over There.

The primary gripw of the colonists was the King’s practice of taking the best straightest trees for his royal navy (they make the best masts). The impetus for the outbreak of the war was the King’s troops marching to confiscate the colonists’ weapons. The dumping of the tea was in response to the Stamp Act IIRC.
Also, keep in mind that the revolution was supported by no more than one-third of the colonists and only 3% did the fighting. Today, we have various ‘three percenters’ groups throughout the USA, with the same attitude of ‘liberty or death’ and WWG1WGA.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

It was a chain of events, building, building…and Lexington/Concord was the straw that broke the camel’s back. The whole tax on tea/Tea Party/English reprisals sequence was a part of that process and things definitely ramped up after 1773.

rayzorbak

Ha! did it again!…..
Sorry, I am just not usually this lucky. (to be the first post)
I love this site (Thanks Wolf)….
Hope to give some insight from time to time……

Being born and raised in South Africa, 16 Dec 1838 was known as the Day of the Vow (or Covenant), or Battle of Blood River, where 470 Boer pioneers were attacked and held off a Zulu “army” of some 15 000 warriors.
A Covenant was formed whereby the Boers vowed to build a church and declare a holy day in commemoration if they survived the battle. An estimated 3000 Zulu warriors were killed (the river ran red with blood) , with 3 Boers being lightly wounded. This became the founding event of the Boer nation.
Today it is called the Day of Reconciliation ….

Gudthots

Thank you for that history.
The Boers put their hope in God and defended themselves.

No matter how this is played, that girl was so sick when she crossed the border, the damage was probably done. No food, no water for days is not the Border Patrol’s fault.

Pat Frederick

and according to her father, the border patrol agents did everything they could to help her. Father needs to be charged with endangerment of a child. we should not allow children to be harmed in any way. Make an example of him and maybe it discourages others to follow.
any American parent would be charged in this case and/or possibly have other children removed from them.

wheatietoo

There is a difference between ‘refugees’ and ‘immigrants’.
Refugees can be sent back to their home countries, as soon as the situation they fled from no longer poses a danger to them.
Refugees are let into the US on a Temporary basis.
All the normal procedures for letting an ‘immigrant’ into the country, are waived for a refugee.
A refugee doesn’t even have to give proof of their Name, or Age…or even proof that they are really a citizen of the country they are coming from.
Refugees are let in with just the clothes on their backs, literally.
It is considered a humanitarian rescue.
And this has been a good thing…until HusseinO decided to use it against us in his efforts to destroy this country.
It’s time to send these ‘refugees’ back home.
Wherever that may be…send them back!
These Islamic invaders have no intention of assimilating or contributing to this country.
As muslims…they are forbidden to swear allegiance to a country that is not under Islamic rule.
Since islam allows, even encourages, muslims to Lie to Non-muslims…then even if a muslim did swear allegiance to the US, how could we believe them?
They come here to colonize…not to assimilate.
We have to send them back!

Gil

My state would be much nicer if the “refugees” left.

Deplorable Patriot

My state is suffering with refugees from California. Unfortunately, we can’t send them back.

Sylvia Avery

Maybe if they cleaned out all the illegals in California, the Californians would move back home.

Molly Pitcher

We’ve all sort of become used to the muslim invasion stories but sometimes I think back to only a few years ago. All of a sudden, bammo, it became muslim dominated everything. Muslims pouring by the hundreds of thousands into Europe.
Muslim sympathy, muslim Dem spokeswomen, muslim clothing being promoted, muslims being barely reprimanded for rapes and assaults, muslim food shaming on non muslims, no-go zones, msm blackout on murders by muslims, etc etc etc.
Even in our schools…islam is taught in our (Ca.) middle school in Social Studies…no other religion, just islam.
What kind of F’d up psyop is this? Out of the clear blue sky..the whole world revolves around muslims?

wheatietoo

I’ve noticed this too, Molly.
I think it’s only the NPC-sheep who haven’t noticed.
It’s an outrage.
And we have the right to stand up and say…”No!”

Molly Pitcher

Agree Wheatie, it’s now or never. The same goes for our more pressing recent invasion by hispanics. I’ve lived in Ca. a long time so it’s not a dislike of “them”, their culture.
It’s the fact that the same shadow group that have practically fractured Europe is trying here with different pawns. The rest is the same. Flood the press with brainwash propaganda that all things hispanic are universal ideals for our society here in the US. The demand that we provide at least a generation or more of care and support for our new “citizens”. NO!

Sylvia Avery

‘It’s the fact that the same shadow group that have practically fractured Europe is trying here with different pawns.’
Yes, exactly so.

Sylvia Avery

And did you see the newly elected Muslim Congresswoman from Minnesota? Michigan? tweeted out a Christian mocking tweet about Mike Pence. Way to start out her new career. Wonder how she’d like it if I did that about her precious Prophet?? Yeah, I know. Hate crime.

wheatietoo

We have no idea who these people are, Wolfie.
HusseinO could’ve brought in a small army of sleeper-jihadis.
I say deport them all.
It’s the only way to be sure.

The brussel sprouts recipe is a killer. Roasting them is awesome. DH always hated brussel sprouts until this recipe. Can’t believe that he brought them home from the store without my asking after he had it once a week prior.

churchmouse

Thanks for this, wheatie.
Great information — and the first time we’ve actually seen a close up of them.

wheatietoo

You’re very welcome, Churchmouse.
Yeah, it’s like the enemedia was determined to ‘not show’ a closeup of one of these trees.
And ‘not tell’ the story behind them.
I think this may have been a case where Flotus Melania looked at a drawing or a model of ‘one berry tree’…and thought it was a great idea.
But a whole hallway of so much red, turned out to be pretty intense.
Not that I am criticizing it…it’s just a lot of red, when you look down that hallway, which is the way it’s been portrayed by the media.
The trees themselves, are really rather lovely.

churchmouse

Agree 100% with all you say, wheatie.
‘But a whole hallway of so much red, turned out to be pretty intense.

Deplorable Patriot

The hummers aren’t fighting. What? Well, I guess with no food around there is no reason. You should see the battles for the feeders fought in the backyard from April to September in these parts.

Pat Frederick

we have seen spectacular humming bird fights! we have 4 feeders spaced around our deck–but one in particular seems to be the coveted spot. Every year there is a dominant male (we always name “him” the Little General–even though it’s not the same one every year i would guess) who sits on top of the feeder as a lookout waiting to challenge any who come near…
we thought the red tail hawk pair might be a deterrent to the hummer this past summer, but they seemed oblivious to them.
I bought hubby a hand held feeder for Christmas this year (SSSSHHHHHHH don’t tell him) so he can try to get them to feed from his hand this summer.)

Deplorable Patriot

Yes, we’ve had the guards. This year there were three that went at it on a regular basis.

Pat Frederick

the females seem to be less aggressive–we have photos of three females on one feeder…
also once when i was bringing a feeder back out after cleaning and refilling it, a hummer landed on the feeder while i was walking and then while I was actually hanging it, it moved to my knuckle—held my breath it was so beautiful!

Deplorable Patriot

Thanks for the reminder that it is eagle time in these parts. Need to make it up to where they spend the winter snagging food out of the Mississippi. IT’s above the confluence where you can actually see the bottom.

Mueller and his team never turned over the docs that Judge Emmet Sullivan requested by Friday.
There’s a thread Over There from December 14 about it.

wheatietoo

I hope Judge Sullivan charges them with Contempt and with Obstruction of Justice!

churchmouse

Me, too!
The arrogance of it all!

itswoot

Rex (formerly Imperator Rex) is thinking that once Judge Sullivan hands down his ruling on Tuesday, AAG Whitaker will have grounds to shut down the indecent Mueller ‘probe’. That was at the heart of my concern yesterday of Mueller pulling a fast one between now and Tuesday. I should have elaborated more.
I can’t see Mueller and his angry Democrats allowing that prospect to happen without some major preemptive challenge.
Excerpt from his article at QuodVerum:
“These are police state tactics on steroids, by a rogue prosecutor who is not just crooked, but also incompetent. That’s the conclusion Judge Sullivan is likely to reach this evening, as he considers how Mueller’s SC has trashed due process, thrown the rule of law out the window and mocked his court.
Prediction? On 18 December, Judge Emmet Sullivan will throw this trash case out of court. But I think he’s going to go further and ask for a DOJ investigation into prosecutorial misconduct.
And then I think AAG Whitaker is going to fire Bob Mueller and shut this probe down, perhaps on the same day if not soon after. It’s a scandal that it continues to exist. What’s being revealed here is an outrage.”
Source: https://quodverum.com/2018/12/348/so-where-s-the-302-bob-endgame-nears-for-mueller.html

Pat Frederick

disclaimer: not my idea, but I can certainly see the logic in it.
Mueller does NOT want Flynn to be charged–if he is, Flynn could appeal (?) and in doing so open Mueller and his tactics to even more discovery and scrutiny.
totally makes sense to me…charge Flynn, and then delay, delay, delay, thereby negating anything Flynn might have contributed to MAGA…then botch the case enough to get it thrown out before everyone discovers what you’ve done…

Sylvia Avery

I hope Judge Sullivan stands up and rips their stupid papers to shreds and says to General Flynn “this is a bunch of garbage and I’m dismissing all charges against you.
Bailiff? Lock up Mr. Mueller and his 17 Angry Dims…”
It is a very satisfying fantasy.

‘As a Tea Party adherent, founding member of the House Freedom Caucus, this self-described “rightwing nutjob” is a major supporter of First and Second Amendment rights plus a relentless opponent of Rats’ degenerate “single payer” Obamacide. Appointed Director of Fauxcahontas’ extraordinarily destructive, actively unconstitutional Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (CFPB) as well as Pres. Trump’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Wikipedia reports:
‘“Mulvaney immediately stopped hiring at the CFPB, stopped collecting fines, suspended rulemaking, and ordered all active investigations reviewed. Mulvaney also sharply reduced agency personnel’s access to bank data, arguing that it posed a security risk. On January 18, 2018, Mulvaney submitted a quarterly budget request for the CFPB to the Federal Reserve for $0.”
‘Trump marches on! Meantime, what media studiously neglects in its most recent Mueller-centric
raindance is that Trump thus far has employed no actions, only words. When this Administration dumps tons of front-end loaded ordure on all things Rat, media’s collective peabrain will pulsate with a weird red glow.’

Reince Priebus has joined the Navy Reserves:
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/reince-priebus-wants-to-join-the-navy-after-meeting-the-family-of-a-seal-member-killed-in-yemen
‘Former White House chief of staff Reince Priebus has been chosen to be commissioned as a Navy Reserve officer after saying he was inspired by the family of a Navy SEAL member who was killed in action in Yemen.
‘Priebus met the family of Senior Chief William “Ryan” Owens during an Oval Office event with Trump. Owens was killed in Yemen during a special operations raid. In his letter to the Navy, Priebus said he felt a call to serve his country after meeting with Owens’ family …
‘The Navy review board issued a “professional recommendation” earlier this month for Priebus and four others to serve as human resource officers. Forty-two people had applied, but only five were approved. Priebus, 46, required a waiver to serve over the usual maximum age limit on joining of 42.
‘Priebus had help from Secretary of State Jim Mattis, who wrote that Priebus’ background makes him an “ideal fit” for the Navy Reserve. Some are already complaining that Priebus’ acceptance is a political favor. But the Post reported that the Navy review board decided against recommending Priebus as a reserve intelligence officer …’

Obfuscation, word salad, lots of vague innuendo and implications that if you don’t understand the nonsense you’re not as smart as we are…but–thank Heavens–no riddles.
What a relief.

churchmouse

IKR??
That was why I posted that little exchange. Oh, the irony …

Can’t do much with gallium, the next element, unless I could work in gallon or galleon. However, the next one…germanium. There actually is a compound named “germane” that has germanium in it. (And you thought chemists had no sense of humor. Always making arsenics out of themselves.)

churchmouse

Too funny — and very clever!

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Fortunately you’re in England and the arsenic pun works better there, since we on this side of the punned don’t spell it “arse.”

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

And moving right along, it’s hard to make a bromide out of the word selenium, but shortly thereafter we can go full loop and observe that clear language would be like kryptonite to Banhammer Central (nice name you came up with there).

churchmouse

So true!
Did I come up with Banhammer Central?

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I zinc so. (I’m not going to go on to the next row of elements, they get pretty obscure (there are maybe five or six that aren’t, out of 18–the three celebrities are silver, tin, and antimony) and there’s not much to be done punwise with things like rubidium, yttrium, molybdenum, palladium, and xenon.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I always wanted to see that Bugs Bunny “aluminumnumnumnum” thing [doesn’t work well in the UK does it?] redone with him trying to pronounce “molybdenum.” But yes the miners called it “Moly be damned.”

New book about JFK assassination: The Inheritance. This one is different from the others. JFK was wearing a gold Cartier watch from Jackie when he was shot. The watch was never presented as evidence. Bobby Kennedy told Evelyn Lincoln to keep it. Apparently, Bobby was able to avoid WWIII via that watch.
I know, I know, the whole thing sounds crazy, but Evelyn Lincoln kept the watch and bequeathed it to a male friend of her acquaintance upon her death. He then gave it to the author of The Inheritance, Christopher Fulton. Fulton, an American working in real estate in Vancouver, met a guy at a party in the 1990s. The man, a Canadian, had worked for Canada’s IC. He also knew Russians. He went to Fulton’s house to look at the watch.
Fulton ended up being arrested in the late 1990s and was eventually imprisoned for a time. I’m still reading the lengthy preview, but am glad I went to the Presidential thread, where zephyrbreeze wrote about it:

Radio interview with Fulton, who now lives in California with his (second, it would seem) wife:

zephyrbreeze’s comment:
‘December 15, 2018 at 6:08 pm
‘This is a story 55 years in the making. New book published Nov 2018,
‘The Inheritance: The Poisoned Fruit of JFK’s Assassination by Christopher Fulton
500 pgs.
‘“Christopher Fulton’s journey began with the death of Evelyn Lincoln, late secretary to President John F. Kennedy. Through Lincoln, crucial evidence ended up in Christopher’s hands—evidence that was going to be used to facilitate a new future for America.
‘“But the U.S. government’s position was clear: that evidence had to be confiscated and classified, and the truth hidden away from the public. Christopher was sent to federal prison for years under a sealed warrant and indictment.
‘“The Inheritance, Christopher’s personal narrative, shares insider information from his encounters with the Russian Government, President Ronald Reagan, Donald Trump, the Clinton White House, the U.S. Justice Department, the Secret Service, and the Kennedy family themselves.
‘“It reveals the true intentions of Evelyn Lincoln and her secret promise to Robert Kennedy—and Christopher’s secret promise to John F. Kennedy Jr. The Inheritance explodes with history-changing information and answers the questions Americans are still asking, while pulling them through a gauntlet of some of the worst prisons this country has to offer. This book thrillingly exposes the reality of American power, and sheds light on the dark corners of current corruption within the executive branch and the justice and prison systems.” – Amazon.’

More on Zinke’s resignation (juicy article from AP). I am amazed that one of Zinke’s underlings gave the AP a copy of his resignation letter. That is not on:
https://apnews.com/842c84a03e5f405fae83277a97905841
‘Zinke’s resignation letter, obtained from a Zinke aide on Saturday, cites what he calls “meritless and false claims” and says that “to some, truth no longer matters.”
‘The letter, dated Saturday, said Zinke’s last day would be Jan. 2. It was not clear whether Zinke had already submitted the letter when Trump tweeted …
‘Trump never established a deep personal connection with Zinke but appreciated how he stood tall against criticisms from environmental groups as he worked to roll back protections. But the White House concluded in recent weeks that Zinke was likely the Cabinet member most vulnerable to investigations led by newly empowered Democrats in Congress, according to an administration official not authorized to publicly discuss personnel matters who spoke on condition of anonymity.
‘His tenure was temporarily extended as Interior helped with the response to California wildfires and the West Wing was consumed with speculation over the future of chief of staff John Kelly. But White House officials pressured him to resign, the official said, which he did after his department’s Christmas party on Thursday night. On Saturday night, hours after his resignation became public, Zinke was spotted at the White House for another holiday party, the Congressional Ball …’

I didn’t say it wasn’t. It’s just that what he says on Twitter is easier to understand.

NYGuy54

In the last 6 weeks, I have begun doubting people I used to trust. In certain ways, I am more cynical than ever. I have cut out certain media types because I simply don’t think they are who I thought they were.

Pat Frederick

I still read SD, simply because he posts a lot of documents, video segments and PDFs I wouldn’t know how to find elsewhere…and some of the commenters there post links I read.
However, I no longer accept every premise or theory–I read, follow up elsewhere if I can and decide for myself.
the whole disinformation strategy is confusing–who is doing it and why–our side, their side…can be daunting…so trusting no one seems prudent.
btw SD used the “concubine” in reference to Ali Watkins…seems a little over the top…but maybe i just need more coffee

I have faith in very few.
Two come immediately to mind: The Q Tree and The Trumpet ( http://www.hillaryis44.org/ ).

NYGuy54

ok I will read it. thanks.

churchmouse

Great. Let me know what you think.
I’ve been following The Trumpet since the 2008 presidential campaign when it was called Hillary Is 44. ‘Admin”s analyses have always been top notch. Admin does not like SD and frequently called CTH out on the former AG. (I agreed with Admin’s perspective, even though I do not comment there.) Admin doesn’t like Q, either.
Now for my perspective, which has nothing much to do with yours and my discussion, but I wanted to mention it anyway: it takes ex-Dems to see the truth that conservatives sometimes miss, which is why they are so important to the Republican Party — and the MAGA movement. The more #WalkAways we get, the better.

NYGuy54

I think it is always helpful to follow the logic train of those who oppose us. We all can learn from that.. So far the site is interesting although the admin seems a bit cranky (like me) on some things..but I will keep reading. Keep doing your thing Church.

Aus is not quite dead yet – although it looks like the mugs are planning on electing bona fida commies at our next federal elections …..

churchmouse

My commiserations, Jason.
The West is being destroyed one country at a time. I never thought this would happen.

JasonD

Agreed – I am still bemused by the stupidity that abounds in the West. I have been bemoaning the state of our education systems for some time, but it was obviously way worse a lot earlier than I realised.
Got to hand it to the Commies, they are highly effective in wreaking destruction. All that envy, jealousy rage and lust for power never sleeps, plotting, plotting and implementing as soon as they get an opportunity.

redlegleader68

Need to be clear-eyed about this and, should the elections swing “that” way, immediately pull out of the 5-eye construct; leaving it alone gives the incoming gov access to our NSA intel, among other “things.” Just sayin’ … 😉

JasonD

Absolutely – could not agree more.
I would totally support PDJT making a move like that in the eventuality of a Commie win in Aus.
The sad part is that the so-called “conservatives” in the UK and Aus participated in the Spygate affair. We have fortunately gotten rid of our snake called Turnbull, but the Brits, as per usual, seem to be trying all options before finally settling on the correct course of action re their leadership

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I understand the gripe, but…I hate these law enforcement carve-outs when a state infringes on 2A.
If it should be legal for cops, it should be legal for everyone. I resent cops having a ‘privilege’ (the Second Amendment is NOT a privilege) not given to the ‘little people’ in NJ. They’re no more (or less) entitled to be able to protect themselves than we are.

thetinfoilhatsociety

Exactly. “When seconds count, the police are minutes away.” True. The 2A wasn’t meant for police, it was meant for US.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

A good (as in excellent, but also as in morally good) cop recognizes this, and cops, at least in these parts, generally seem to have no beef with the right of self defense, regardless of whether it’s by using a firearm or a big rock. There are, of course, some assholes in every department, and these get promoted in the big (anti-2A) cities.
Of course, 2A isn’t about self defense from thugs, it’s about self defense, period, be it from thugs or…(especially) tyranny.

A Fortiori (@AFortiori16)

Do they even read the crap they put out? How can it be illegal to possess something unless you are travelling to or from work? If you found yourself leaving work with the item, but knew it would become illegal once you arrived anywhere other than back at work, what course of action could you take to avoid breaking the law?

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I’d bet their answer would be: Eject the evil 11+ rounder on arriving home, and let it hit the floor (since you can’t touch it). Of course if it’s in your house, it’s technically still in your possession. A more enforceable (but still unconstitutional) rule would be to require you to eject the loaded mag at the police station and insert a 10- rounder there.

WSB wonders if Judge Emmet Sullivan is a DS fixer (from Presidential thread):
‘WSB says:
December 16, 2018 at 4:04 am
‘Does anyone else find it just too convenient that Comey suddenly appears on footage admitting that it was his idea to send the two agents over to interview Flynn? Judge Jeanine commented last night that the Mueller team does NOT want an appeal on the Flynn case.
‘Is this a coordinated effort to ease out of this case? Is Sullivan a fixer for the Ddep State’s bad cases?
‘Something is not adding up.
‘Nicole Wallace from MSNBC just happened to be interviewing Comey at such a timely venue for this tidbit to surface prior to Sullivan’s Tuesday response?
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/comey-admits-decision-to-send-fbi-agents-to-interview-mike-flynn-was-not-standard
‘I have not researched anything yet, as this possibility just popped into my head, but does anyone remember on Sullivan’s other cases if there were any repercussions for the attorneys involved with the Stevens’ case?’
‘WSB says:
December 16, 2018 at 4:51 am
‘Something else is starting to connect dots for me. I could be wrong, but Contreras was pulled off Flynn’s case a year ago. No explanation. This comment from reporting at the time has always stuck out to me:
‘“According to a court filing, U.S. District Court Judge Rudolph Contreras, who presided over a Dec. 1 hearing where Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation about his contacts with Russia, will no longer handle the case.
Court spokeswoman Lisa Klem did not say why Contreras was recused, and added that the case was randomly reassigned.”
‘“…added that the case was randomly assigned.”
‘There. Why would anyone go out of their way to make sure EVERYONE knows this is RANDOM?
‘I do not think this case was randomly reassigned. I am starting to think that the heat was so great on Contreras, after finding the texts from Page and Strzok, that resulted in “Collyer, we have a problem.” So, either Collyer or Roberts moved the case.
‘Because this was the FISC, Mueller thought he could wrap this up and no one would know the better for it. Throw away the key. But things were starting to come out and Flynn’s situation was starting to flip the table on his own case.
‘How random would it be that Sullivan happens to be the lucky straw. Also, why move the case from a FISC?
https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/jan/31/why-was-judge-recused-muellerflynn-case/
‘So, now I am starting to believe that Sullivan is where the deep state goes to kill off cases that need to die. If that is the situation, and there is similar history on other cases Sullivan is so famous for, this is systemic and a lot of other fixers are part of this undergound injustice system.
‘This isn’t just pulling one judge off a case for a conflict of interest, this is redirecting the case to a particular judge to guarantee the necessary outcome.’

churchmouse

OR …
Is Judge Sullivan about to throw out Flynn’s guilty plea?
https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2018/12/is_the_flynn_guilty_plea_going_to_be_thrown_out.html
‘… General Flynn’s sentencing by Judge Sullivan is to take place Tuesday. I have my fingers crossed that Judge Sullivan will throw out the guilty plea and the case and demand from the FBI an account of the fate of the missing Form 302.
‘My fondest hope is that a special counsel will be appointed the investigate misbehavior of the Mueller team and the FBI. Obviously, such an appointment would be attacked as an effort to hobble Mueller. But if a federal judge demanded accountability, that would aid considerably in justifying a new special counsel.
‘Update: One further thought occurred to me. Since the FBI has flouted Judge Sullivan, he may want to rely on the U.S. Marshals Service, which serves the federal courts, to interrogate FBI officials and members of Team Mueller. He could possibly charge the Marshals to obtain the documents from the FBI, though I confess to utter ignorance of the relevant law and regulations.’

Pat Frederick

do you believe we need a second special counsel? can’t the DOJ look into this? it seems a lot of money and time will be wasted, although even as I write it, I know a lot of time and money will be wasted either way. sigh

churchmouse

No second special counsel, by any means! Mueller’s bad enough.
You are right in asking about the DOJ looking into it. That is their job. I had high hopes for Whitaker, but I guess he isn’t the guy, either.
Agree that far too much money and time have been wasted on this witch hunt.
Mueller should be put out to pasture. Every single one of his investigations has turned out to ruin someone — falsely (e.g. Stevens, the anthrax guy, the guys wrongly imprisoned in Massachusetts, the list goes on).

Pat Frederick

I agree with everything but the pasture…he deserves to be stripped of his pension and sent to prison for his misconduct—I know having these imbeciles leave office (retiring etc) gets them out of the swamp, but I would rather they not receive payments to go away quietly…we’ve paid enough for his ineptitude over the years.

churchmouse

Very true, Pat.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Think of it as the Little Rock pasture then.
Not as in Arkansas, but as in “made from big rocks.”

Pat Frederick

I think they thought they could slip Contreras into the slot and get Flynn, but when the text messages surfaced and it was revealed that Contreras knew Strzok socially he had to be recused–they did think they could hide that detail until a Patriot let the text messages out…

churchmouse

Yes.
Great observation, Pat.

GA/FL

Flynn is a hero of Medal of Honor/Medal of Freedom stature.

churchmouse

Oh, okay, COOL! 🙂
Yes, I hope that Gen. Flynn goes free. Can hardly wait until he comes out with his story. Hope he can tell it in full.

A Fortiori (@AFortiori16)

I am willing to give Sullivan the benefit of the doubt here. For one thing, whoever removed Contreras probably would not pick another corrupt judge to hear the case. For another, Sullivan gave his exculpatory evidence notice at the beginning of his involvement in the Flynn matter; it would be hard for him to ignore the fact that Mueller did not provide the 302 of Flynn’s January interview.
Then again, the question of how Mueller got away with suborning perjury in the Stevens case is a good one. I suppose it is possible that Sullivan is vying for a Gitmo vacation.

Pat Frederick

interesting tidbit (from the other tree) that the DOJ let slip out in their response to Wolfe’s defense team’s sentencing memo–in it the DOJ makes this admission: (emphasis mine)
“In this case, because of the KNOWN DISCLOSURE OF CLASSIFIED INFORMATION–THE FISA APPLICATION-…”
so the DOJ admits Wolfe disclosed classified info, but because Wolfe threatened to force SSCI members to participate and testify in any trial, they came to a plea deal and claimed NOT to be able to make the classified info part of the case.
Blatant lying and cover-up…

A Fortiori (@AFortiori16)

There is some reporting on the fact that Wolfe sent to his girlfriend one of the FISA applications in a series of 70 some text messages immediately after he received it. Accordingly, there are several members of the MSM who have the full text of the FISA application, including the classified material.
I think Wolfe has been turned and is cooperating and that this is the reason for his light sentence (and for the fact that we even know he was arrested).

The Black Mamba is highly venomous, very fast (faster than most people can run), aggressive when frightened, very big (4.4m record), etc, etc,

And you just moved from there to a place that seems to have more venomous snake species than anywhere else. (Maybe South Africa is prep for Australia.)
If I were in Oz, I’d run like hell away from any snake I couldn’t positively identify, and I am not an ophidiophobe (I hold people’s boas and pythons regularly). But in Oz, I just don’t like the odds.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venomous_snake
Is wikipoo’s article on venomous snakes; there’s a table about halfway down listing the most venomous snakes by one particular criteria. The black mamba isn’t even on the list, but half of them (6/12) live in Oz.
Happy hiking!

JasonD

Yea, I’m getting quite nervous re my odds. I have NEVER seen a snake here in 13 years, so am starting to think they are very stealthy, and that the first one I encounter may be my last.
Back in South Africa on the farm we would encounter snakes regularly in the warmer months – adders, cobras and “boomslang” (highly venomous – hemotoxic – makes you bleed from your wherever). Fortunately the boomslang is back fanged, so you would have to present a finger and give it ample to opportunity to do its thing …
We had a palm tree in our garden on the farm, with weavers nesting every year – irresistible to boomslang. So whilst having family tea under the tree, there a would be commotion of noise rustling, a thud behind you – look around an another boomslang slithering away, having lost its purchase on the slippery palm fronds. The weavers had found the perfect tree …

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

We have a saying here, when someone is looking for something and they miss it over and over: “If it was a snake, it would’ve bit me.”

JasonD

Just goes to show the ubiquity of western culture. That saying is common in South Africa, although I haven’t heard it in Aus yet.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Perhaps because in Oz it would have to be “If it was a snake, I’d be dead!”

JasonD

This may explain why I have never seen a snake here……:)
It is a bit like the anthropic principle – I am able to marvel at the fact that I have never encountered a snake in Aus BECAUSE I have never encountered one …

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Perfect example. You know, it’s so odd we ended up on a world so perfectly suited to us, and it’s remarkable how all my near-fatal traffic accidents have been misses.

I encountered many African snakes, and am still here, you encountered many American snakes and are still here – but none of us have encountered any Aussie snakes ….

https://thenationalsentinel.com/2018/12/14/john-solomon-dia-has-document-completely-exonerating-michael-flynn-but-refuses-to-release-it/comment-page-1/
‘“Let me say this about Mike Flynn. In May 2017 there was a document identified to a small number of people in the United State government. It’s in the possession of the Defense Intelligence Agency. For 18 months there’s been an effort to resist declassifying that document,” he said.
‘“I know that that document contains extraordinary exculpatory information about General Flynn. I don’t believe the president has ever been told about this document. One lawmaker discovered it but he was thwarted by the Defense Intelligence Agency in his ability to disclose it. I think we all should ask for that declassification. Get that out. It may enlighten the judge,” he added …
‘To prove just how incensed the Deep State is about POTUS Donald Trump’s 2016 election victory, Flynn used to run the DIA as its director — and yet the agency won’t come to his side during his hour of need like, say, the FBI and DoJ have circled their wagons around truly corrupt officials like James Comey, Sally Yates, Peter Strzok, Andrew McCabe, and Bruce Ohr, just to name a few.
‘If Solomon is right and POTUS Trump does not know about this alleged document, you can bet he does now …’

An indepth interesting look into the views of Richard Haas, President of the Council on Foreign Relations since July 2003, prior to which he was Director of Policy Planning for the United States Department of State and a close advisor to Secretary of State Colin Powell and “not a Trump fan”.
His summation: “The deterioration of a world order can set in motion trends that spell catastrophe. World War I broke out some 60 years after the Concert of Europe had for all intents and purposes broken down in Crimea. What we are seeing today resembles the mid-nineteenth century in important ways: the post–World War II, post–Cold War order cannot be restored, but the world is not yet on the edge of a systemic crisis. Now is the time to make sure one never materializes, be it from a breakdown in U.S.-Chinese relations, a clash with Russia, a conflagration in the Middle East, or the cumulative effects of climate change. The good news is that it is far from inevitable that the world will eventually arrive at a catastrophe; the bad news is that it is far from certain that it will not.”
