The Powerful and Protecting "Prayer Narrative"

After my somewhat “dark” and overly finger-pointy call-out of the Democrat mainstream media’s “chaos narrative”…..

https://wqth.wordpress.com/2018/12/21/the-dangerous-and-sinister-fake-news-chaos-narrative/

……in which I exposed and reviled the left’s advancement of a false meme of “turmoil” and “chaos” in the White House….

…..which I believe is an utter LIE….

….and which I believe is part of a larger and darker SCHEME….

…..I still felt troubled.

Yes, I has spoken TRUTH to power. I had stood up against what I felt was evil. I had WARNED the other side that I knew what they were doing.

And yet, it was not enough. Something was MISSING.

But I did not know what was missing.

Then, as the COMMENTS began flowing into my post, I realized EXACTLY what was missing!

Almost everybody who responded, mentioned that they had been, were, or would be PRAYING for President Trump.

PRAYER.

That was the answer!

Do you remember when President Trump appeared at the 2017 National Prayer Breakfast?

President Trump mentioned that there were FIVE WORDS he heard CONSTANTLY in his travels around the country, and even the world.

“I. AM. PRAYING. FOR. YOU.”

That’s it.

“I am praying for you.” And other variations of this simple message.

Go to around 4:40 in the video to hear the lead-up to the quote, or just read this portion of the transcript:

But most importantly today, I want to thank the American people. Your faith and prayers have sustained me and inspired me through some very, very tough times. All around America, I have met amazing people whose words of worship and encouragement have been a constant source of strength. What I hear most often as I travel the country are five words that never, ever fail to touch my heart. That’s: “I am praying for you.” I hear it so often — “I am praying for you, Mr. President.” (Applause.)

President Donald J. Trump, National Prayer Breakfast, February 2, 2017

[Full transcript here: https://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2017-02-02/donald-trump-2017-national-prayer-breakfast-transcript]

[Article here: https://blackchristiannews.com/2017/02/president-trump-says-words-that-touch-his-heart-the-most-are-i-am-praying-for-you/]

I have heard President Trump mention this point about THE FIVE WORDS at rallies as well, and I am a POWERFUL believer in this idea – in the power of our prayers to sustain our President.

And to not only sustain him, but to protect him.

Thus, I am asking you to be part of a PRAYER NARRATIVE – the idea that our prayers will overcome this “chaos narrative” – and not only that – that they will strengthen and PROTECT President Trump from harm.

Who is with me? If you are, then simply make sure to put our President in your prayers on a regular basis, and ESPECIALLY now.

And now, something extra special, to “seal the deal”.

While looking for the video of the “five words” speech, I found this wonderful photo diary from the 2017 Prayer Breakfast.

This particular attendee and his family met and took their photos with MANY familiar faces – you will LOVE this video – I guarantee. There are even a few wonderful surprises.

So there you have it. The PRAYER NARRATIVE.

Thank you, God bless you all, God bless President Trump, and God Bless America.

And to President Trump, in particular….

“We are praying for you.”

W

AMEN.

Lovely, Wolf. I pray for the President daily. I do remember him saying talking about it at that prayer breakfast so I make it a point when I email him to always say I am praying for him at the end. I pray for his safety, and for wisdom/guidance/discernment, and I pray for the success of his agenda.

Anonymoushorse

I have come to understand what Paul meant by “pray without ceasing”, that is to look to God frequently throughout the day during the good, the bad and the indifferent. A hundred little prayers throughout the day is essentially “unceasing” prayer. Thank you Father, in Jesus’ name for teaching this hard head.

singularZoe

Amen, Sylvia, I think this is what makes the q movement so powerful. Have to believe the Lord is behind it and He hears and answers our prayers.

TRULY WONDERFUL UPLIFTING POST, WOLFIE!!!
The millions of praying, Bible believing, GOD trusting and obeying folks + the strong framework of our Constitution*, are the reason America is great and good – despite the sin and decadence of the left!
Clinging to our GOD, Bibles (and Guns) keeps America great! President Trump continually acknowledges that!
*Which was also a product of much prayer and inspiration from GOD!

SingularZoe

Love that term, too, Wolfie.

Sylvia Avery

This is why we will win.

Anonymoushorse

Yes, it has the “feel” of an expression from the long ago age of Christendom. I pray that past is truly prologue.

Brave and Free

Wolf, I truly believe you are correct. I always come here and read everyone’s GREAT comments and I want to chime in with my thoughts also and then someone else will reply with the same thoughts I was thinking so I won’t post them so as not to just be repetitive. So It’s been heavy on my heart lately, “what’s my part in this”. And I always come back to prayer. I believe we’re all called for specific things at specific times in our lives. I believe my calling is just prayer for all at this time in history. We’re living at a glorious time in this world, we may not think so at times when we let the world defeat us. God has a calling for everyone it’s up to us to find it.
God Bless you and everyone for your time and effort you put in to this! I believe you found your calling.

GA/FL

Amen, Brave and Free!

Great post!

Sylvia Avery

You should post more often. I can only speak for myself but I find it comforting when someone posts something that echoes or supports something I’ve thought or read or written. It makes me feel like I’m not alone.
Like you, I have wondered what I can do. There are so many things I cannot do, and yet I wanted to do something productive and fight for our President. It finally occurred to me during the campaign that what I could do was pray and I decided to take that on seriously. I’m glad we are praying together!

rayzorbak

Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Anonymoushorse

I also have come to this conclusion some time ago concerning happenings in the lives of friends where I was powerless to help them materially.

prairie123

Brave and Free,
Yes, you are very correct, it’s important to remember that even though we may be lost and consumed in our daily toils, God’s purpose for us is love Him (with all our heart, soul, mind and strength) and to love our neighbors as ourselves. *Very hard to do some times!
We can do all these things through Christ. I pray everyday for President Trump and his family, then I pray for his administration and those in authority. I pray that those who are following party lines, would awaken and think for themselves. I pray they would see more clearly right from wrong. And I pray for all of us, that we don’t lose hope and don’t give in to sadness and defeat. God has already won the most important battle long ago and we remember it every Easter. 🙂
Merry Christmas everyone!

I read once that in the Greek language, the language in which our Scriptures were written, there are five different words for our one English word “Love”. Each word in Greek has a different meaning, describing a different form of love. For instance there is one word for the love between mother and child, another for the love between spouses, another for the love between “brothers”, etc.
Our English language is impoverished in this. We have only the one word, love, to cover many states or conditions. For the most part, we think of “love” as a mushy, squishy, feeling.
In the true Christian sense, love is not a feeling, it is a doing- that is, an act of will, to choose for the other over the self. Yes, it can indeed be accompanied by emotion, but love is in reality an act of will. To willingly choose for another over self is to choose God. This sadly is obscured by the poverty of the English language.

singularZoe

Yes, AnonymousHorse, there is a book called The Four Loves by C.S. Lewis.

Anonymoushorse

Thank you, I have not heard of this book but will certainly look into it now!

prairie123

Anon, I agree. The English language is pretty lacking as far the word “love” goes. I have always seen the word as something special, never to be taken lightly. So when I first said “I love you” to my boyfriend (who now is my husband of 20+ years), it was a big deal. When I say it to my children, again, it means something very strong. Recently I heard a co-worker saying it in a light-hearted way to some students, such as “Kaylee, you know I love you but you’re driving me crazy! Sit down!” it sort of stopped me in my tracks. I thought, no, I couldn’t do that. But then I thought again… some of our students don’t hear it at home and many don’t have friendship kind of love either. So I decided that even though I don’t say it to everyone, I do feel it toward many people – students included.
I will look for that book too, by the way. It’s Christmas break and I need something to read. Last year I read ‘One Second After’ by William Forstchen – great book! Kind of frightening…
Take care!

golsono

Agreed. love is a many splendid word

singularZoe

You, too, Prairie, and have a happy Christmas everyone.

Brave and Free: “So it’s been heavy on my heart lately, ‘what’s my part in this’. And I always come back to prayer.”
Yes. When we feel powerless, we know the One who is all-powerful hears us. Every morning and evening I pray for Pres. Trump; for his family; for all in positions of power and influence; for the people of this country to be wise, discerning, and godly; and that He will deliver us from evil.
I like these verses, too, about those with evil intent, from Psalm 7:
15 He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
16 His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate

rayzorbak

Ok…… I going to go out to the very tip of my limb here on the Q Tree.
It is NOT my purpose to offend anyone or change your mind. I would just like to offer up some reasons why I believe what I have been lead to believe. That said……
I believe 100% in the SOVEREIGNTY of GOD. HE knows all because HE Planned and MADE it ALL.
Consider the cycles of life…… Seed > Sprout > Tree > Seed. Repeat.
Egg > Zygote > Organism (containing cells, organs, systems, skin, feathers, scales etc) Repeat.
Oceans/Rivers/Ponds > Fog > Clouds > Rain/Snow > Rivers/Ponds/Oceans. Repeat.
How does the blood know when to clot? The Heart to Beat? The Brain to THINK?
God is NOT sitting in Heaven WAITING on “us” to do anything (pray etc).
His “will” WILL be done no matter what any of “us” do. Yes, He “uses” “us” for His purposes.
By “us”…. I mean those CALLED according to HIS purpose. (Romans 8:28)
And No, Not ALL are Loved or called. “Joseph have I loved and Esau have I Hated” (Malachi 1)
I hope that “we” do not confuse “our” “works” with his PLAN.
We are to Pray but I believe it is for “our” benefit as God does not need “us”.
God comforts me in my prayers. And my prayers draw me closer to God.
If “My” prayers had any power to “Change” anything, then God could not be God.
If I/we had the power to change anything…. I would surely screw up Gods plans.
My prayers…. at best…. can only align with his plans but not CHANGE his plans.
“HE” is God… and changes not, (1 Samuel 15:29, Malachi 3:6)
Thanks for hearing me out. God Bless Trump, Wolf and each of us here on the Q Tree.

TheseTruths

I agree about God’s sovereignty, but respectfully disagree about prayer.
“If ‘My’ prayers had any power to ‘Change’ anything, then God could not be God.”
I do not pray thinking I have power to change anything or to change God; that would never enter my mind. He has complete power to do as He pleases and to hear us and grant our requests, or not, in the way He pleases. I see prayer as having a relationship with Him, not as trying to change Him. Our prayers are not “works” in the sense of doing labor by rote to achieve an end. I believe the Scriptures indicate He can and does answer our prayers (always in accordance with His will, of course). And miraculous things have happened after people have prayed. I don’t think any of us can say with certainty that those things would have happened anyway, without people praying.
1 Kings 9:3 And the Lord said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.
2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Isaiah 38:5 Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.
Matthew 6:11, from the Lord’s Prayer: Give us this day our daily bread.
Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
James 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Fair enough…….

It’s so nice to have civil discussion. Thank you.

I had to reply here as the thread is full……That said,
The idea here is not Heated Arguments, but instead THOUGHTFUL discussions on various topics.
That is why this tree is “The place to be” (Thanks Wolf).
I realize that many people have many views especially related to “religion”.
I just wanted to pass along what “I” have been lead to believe.
I have found that I am a great minority vs the “Free Will” concepts.
Thanks again, and hope for more “Civil” discussions 🙂

Pray without ceasing. As we pray for President Trump, we are also acting together in the Holy Spirit as members of the Body of Christ. Our prayers help to keep President Trump protected and strong. They also give us the focus and the strength to face the Storm with total confidence.
When I was 26, I took my first airplane flight. It had been cloudy and raining for weeks. As we lifted off, we came through the clouds and the sun was shining. I had always loved the song, Silver Lining. The words “Remember somewhere, the sun is shining, and so the right thing to do is make it shine for you.” suddenly became real to me in a way they never had before. It was a life-changing moment for me.
We get caught up in the clouds and storms of life, but they are all temporary. God is always with us. When we pray, we focus on the truth and remember that God is the same yesterday, today and forever, even we can’t see past the storm for the moment.

Anonymoushorse

“This too shall pass”. In the Catholic tradition in which I was raised we talk of the Communion of Saints. Jesus said “I am the vine, you are the branches”. A simple, humble but sincere prayer raises us all up. Where we go one, we go all.

wheatietoo

Thank you, Wolf.
Praise Him from Whom all blessings flow.
It might sound a little crazy…but I have a sort of ongoing conversation in my head, with our Lord.
It’s one-sided, of course.
I don’t presume to think that He answers me.
Heheh.
I pray that he grants our President the strength to carry him through all the trials that are heaped upon him.
And I pray for the Lord to watch over him and keep him safe.
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-dWmu51zzm0U/UxzYgzvmREI/AAAAAAAAKK4/F-k8RMnS5AA/s930/soar-eagle-fly-animated.gif
Our President is fighting for us all the time…and he will need all our prayers to weather this storm.

pgroup

I don’t know why you would think He doesn’t answer you. It could be that He is speaking quietly and you don’t hear Him speaking. Or it could be that He’s a bit busy at the moment and you’re in a que waiting your turn.
I assume He always hears me and always answers me. What baffles me is why I am worthy of His efforts. And then I remember that Yeshua died so I could be found worthy.
That never fails to make me suffer dust-in-the-eyes and a warm secure feeling inside.

Gudthots

Ha! I said to a friend recently. I know God is at work. But believe me, His work in me is so secret even I have no idea what He is doing.

Wolf, thank you for this post. You recently mentioned Yuri Bezmenov (former KGB), and I re-watched his 1983 talk at UCLA about Subversion just a couple of days ago. Prayer and faith is something he told the audience can overcome Subversion. That is a huge deal.
I keep mentioning Yuri to others but I don’t think anyone takes the hour to watch his Subversion video. That’s why I was so glad you knew about him too. It is a very important windows into what the KGB has been doing to the USA over the last decades. Yuri’s presentation made the audience laugh several times. He handled the topic so well, making something so sinister more digestible.
Since Subversion is based on Sun-Tzu’s teachings, I imagine it was not only the Russians using this tactic against us.

I am praying for President Trump and his family. I am praying for us all.

Anonymoushorse

Prayer is the most powerful weapon against subversion, because in prayer you ‘lose’ yourself, i.e. your thoughts, ideologies, in God. When we are in Christ, we have the Mind of Christ. Our little human thoughts are just random background noise- there is nothing to subvert. It’s like throwing a pail of red paint in the air to try to paint the wind.

Gudthots

Barb, I did a search.
Is this the one?

wheatietoo

Remember this moment?
This was at one of the primaries.
Ben Carson didn’t hear his name called, so he stopped and waited there offstage.
Candidate Trump saw what was going on…and took it upon himself to stand there with Ben, to give him encouragement and wait with him until they called him again.
http://assets.nydailynews.com/polopoly_fs/1.2522984.1454837657!/img/httpImage/animation-40.gif
.
The other candidates just smirked and went on past…but not Donald J Trump.
The other candidates were all politicians.
They put politics before being human.
Ben Carson is not a politician…and neither was Donald Trump.
Without hesitation, DJT stopped and stood by a friend, putting politics and competition aside to help him get through that moment of confusion.
This little act of Kindness, spoke volumes about the kind of man our future President is.

Tonawanda

Yes! This was the moment I fell in love with the man as a leader.
TY Wheatie!

Sylvia Avery

Oh yes, I remember. And how the beautiful people chuckled at dumb old Donald for doing it. And I remember looking at them like they were idiots because although I thought Donald Trump was a nouveau riche, tacky, loud, brash, attention hog, he did something a real man would do and it revealed a lot to me about his character that was a lot more important than all of the things I disliked about him. I didn’t jump on the Train at that moment, but I should have.
Just look at that creep, Jeb! as he storms past and gives that condescending little pat on the arm and makes that face that says he’s thinking, “What’s with these losers?”
This was one of those black swan moments. There was the time before and the time after. This moment in time changed the world.

Aubergine

This was one of the many moments within which I realized how truly great our future President really was.
His interactions with children were also particularly telling. Little kids and babies know what’s up. And they were so calm with him, even in front of enormous crowds.
Another very telling moment was at a dinner, when Hillary the Beast herself stood up to shake hands with someone, and sitting back down, was about to miss her chair. Our gracious Lion simply reached over and pushed the chair under her without a word. He could have let her fall on her ass on national TV.
That type of kindness is the hallmark of an incredible human being.

Remember how the media made a big deal out of GHWB in that debate with Clinton when he looked at his watch? (Who wouldn’t, BTW, look at their watch and wonder when they could escape that sh!t show.) It has been repeatedly mentioned ever since as the moment that lost Bush the election.
Well, I’ve never been so sure that’s what lost the election for Bush. But if there was one single moment that should have been noted and heralded and spoken of endlessly as THE SECOND Jeb! went down for the count it was that act right there of steamrolling past the “noobs” with that little pat and eyeroll. There was a whole lot of information packed in that tiny little encounter.

I tend to email the President a lot…and I always include continuing prayers for his and his family’s safety.
I do not see chaos in POTUS’s actions–no sir, this has been a plan he has clearly been thinking about and working towards most of his life.
He is a doer–therefore he sees problems and figures out solutions to achieve a goal. He may need to revise a part or two along the way–because players change, situations change but he stays the course.
He cannot be mapped out and to some degree I believe that’s what frustrates his enemies so much. he can be flexible and see different paths to one goal—that’s why he’s so effective. shut down one path, he sees another way to achieve his goal. gotta love him!

” The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
John 1:5 (RSV)
This is on the back cover of Frank E. Peretti’s book, “Piercing the Darkness”. The book before that, “This Present Darkness” is one I often think of when I comparing with what is going on with current events here in America. Lots of parallels.
For instance, George Soros is very much like the character, Alexander Kaseph , owner of Omni Corporation and head of a Universal Consciousness Society.

Wolf, thank you for such a beautiful article first thing in the morning. It is much appreciated. Like all of you, I’ve been praying for President Trump and his family every day since the campaign. And I’ve noticed something wonderful happening. People all over the country are doing the same thing. There have been so many prayer groups all over the internet. I remember Diamond and Silk had one at the same time every day. I don’t know if they’re still doing it, but a lot of people participated. I happened on a site called POTUS Shield not long ago where they’ve set up 8 daily prayer watches that people can sign up for. I especially saw a lot of groups doing this that weekend where all the witches were going to meet to put a hex on President Trump. What’s been especially chilling to me the last 2 years has been their openness in calling on Satan to hurt our President. But it’s really comforting to know that God’s people have responded with increased prayer. Thank you, Wolf, for posting this today.

I am always praying for our POTUS45 and his family. Always. I also pray for his administration and their families because they are also on the front lines fighting evil! I pray for us, the Patriots, who are destined to be in the thick of things most times… and I pray for our country. I ask God to please stay with us and give us the strength to fight the evil that wants to destroy us!
Sometimes I feel like Abraham begging the Lord not to destroy Sodom… We have learned of so much evil in our country, and at times it is terrifying evil!! I pray daily that God will forgive us and see that we truly want him to remain here in our country with us! How in the world do people not see the growth and prosperity our country has accomplished in a little over 240 years? This is such a short period of time! But It all came to a screeching halt when we/our government started taking God out of everything in our lives and evil started to grow in leaps and bounds! I just pray it is not too late… Faith, Love, and Prayer! The ultimate weapons!

I think the story of Abraham bartering with God to save Sodom teaches us about a lack of faith. Abraham should have continued haggling with God down to “for the sake of one sinner who may or may not repent at some point in the future”. A saint, Padre Pio, in my tradition, RC, said that when we ask God for something, we should ask with “a face of brass”. This is faith.

If there are any lurkers out there who want to participate, but feel prayer is something only for “religious” people or aren’t really sure what to do, here’s what you can do. Simply put your positive thoughts out there. Here are two thoughts I focus on every day:
“I support the President, the Q team, and America.”
“Please protect the President, the Q team, and America.”
The important part is to put that positivity out there. Our President agrees:
“Practice positive thinking–this will keep you focused while weeding out anything that is unnecessary, negative or detrimental.”

Anonymoushorse

Yes, ‘positive thinking’ is the ‘training wheels’ of prayer, and evidence of the Holy Spirit at work!
