I’m glad you got to post there, but it doesn’t change the way so many of us have been treated. That site used to be like this one, but is no longer. This is not a criticism of you, Linda; this just seemed a good place to make this comment, and perhaps the post is now too old for anyone to see it! But the wounds from OT seem to be painfully slow to heal for many.
Dave Hayes (PM) has written about our expectations, specifically in regard to Q, arrests, etc., but his wisdom applies to any expectations.
If we have strong expectations and hold tightly to them (in this case, hoping or expecting that OT will revert to what we thought it was), we set ourselves up for disappointment if our expectations are not met. If we simply “let it go,” have gratitude for OT in its place and time that blessed us, pray for relief of any evil that may be being brought to bear there, and focus on what we now have, we will not be disappointed. And, we shall be far less likely to 1) waste precious resources, 2) revisit old wounds, 3) be tempted to bitterness.

Yesterday’s focus was stocks, bonds, mutual funds, things to do with IRAs and a trip onto the roof of the house to cover turbines before a big storm. (Probably should have done that quite a few months ago.)
Spent today in the kitchen with a friend trying out recipes with modifications. Came out with fairly reasonable quiche lorraine and key lime pie. Only do-over was whipped cream believe it or not. First attempt used “just like sugar” for sweetener. It’s not.
Tomorrow might just include ladders and power tools at some point. 🙂

Also preparing for a storm (tropical) come back from house sitting to a mouldy house from over a metre of rain, lime tree is heavy so if you have a good recipe for key lime pie would love it!
We were working from a 1972 edition of the Joy of Cooking but tried coconut sugar instead of the standard white sugar. Tasted okay but was brown like milk chocolate. Whipped cream helped. Nothing to write home about. Ask the internet. I’m sure there are some great recipes out there.
Looked at a few on the net but there’s nothing better than a home/family recipe. Lemon Meringue Pie is an Aussie staple but only heard of key lime pie when I started reading blogs from US! As far as tuna fish sandwich goes..hmmm. Tuna with chilli, lime and salad is a typical work lunch…have never done mayo so will have to take a pass on that.
Mayo is one of the Three Proofs of The Existence of God, along with beer and bacon. Heathen!

You said “recipe” so now I have an excuse.
My mother’s Tuna fish recipe:
* 3 Cans of Tuna Fish (tuna in water – typically the ALDI “Northern Catch” cans which are well priced)
* Mayonnaise as a base (ALDI “Fit and Active” Light works well. I recommend actual mayo – Miracle Whip is too sweet.)
* Chopped Dill pickles (I prefer to use Dill Relish with Pimentos, if you can find it.)
* Hard Boiled eggs, diced (ALDI has a great price. We hard boil half a dozen at a time for salads and kid’s snacks.)
* Chopped onions (I skip this part. I hate raw onions.)
Mix thoroughly to taste. Serve anyway you like or eat it straight with a fork.
Obviously you can add variations to this, for instance if you like chopped celery or dill sprigs.
I like mine on sandwiches. The Pepperidge Farms Oatmeal bread pairs very well.
Add lettuce or tomato if you like – I prefer mine plain.
My wife loves to put a slice of avocado on hers – try it, you might like it!
For work I take about a cup’s worth in a Ziplock/Tupperware container, and put them on the bread when I eat it at lunch. Otherwise the bread gets soggy.
Variations to try: mustard, minced garlic.

That sounds really good. I often like to toast my tuna fish sandwich with some nice variety of cheese.
Not sure if this blend would be good toasted considering it has eggs and dill pickles. Maybe I’ll give it a shot. If not I’ll eat it cold. Yum.
Tuna (squeezed until dry), Hellman’s used sparingly, + celery seed and a little bit of pepper – chill it. Oatmeal or wheat bread.
Stunningly good ham salad = Remove all obvious fat from leftover ham (render it if you want to- it’s better) about 3-4 lbs, grind in a food processor. Add Claussen pickles, chopped finely about 1/2 of large jar, plus 1/3 cup of pickle juice. Add approx. 1 3/4lb finely grated Baby Swiss. Combine with 1 1/2 – 2 cups Hellman’s Light Mayo.
I’ve made many mortgage payments on the Ham Salad recipe.
Egg Salad – 30 eggs add to cold water, turn stovetop to high for 20 minutes = done. Peel eggs and chop in a food processor. Add 1 jar Hellman’s light + salt and pepper. CHILL. It’s perfect.
I wish you people would stop it- I don’t need any more excuses to overeat!!

They pushed and shoved the women and children up front and to the fence trying to push them up and over so they would fall on the concertina wire while the big, brave men folk stood on the mound and threw rocks at the heads and faces of our Border Patrol.
Border Patrol was wearing helmets and face guards, and they shot tear gas over the heads of the women and kids at the men.

Having a sibling in the military who had no use for “frat boy” (GWB), I will tell you that the military as it is set up is a socialist system, plain and simple. It’s not what it is supposed to be, either.
What we need is the dissemination conduits – information vehicles – to be clean, and they are not. “Truth” is what is reported, not necessarily the way things really happened.
At this point, fighting against THAT particular windmill is an uphill battle.
Socialism in military, promotion and pay by rank, instead of merit, is wrong.
Needs to be changed. It would be the greatest thing ever.
In all honesty, THIS is what made up my mind about not staying in the Army. Met a gal at the AFEES station in Omaha when I shipped out to basic. We both received accelerated promotion in basic and AIT. We both went to the TRADOC self-paced admin school – I finished 3rd, she finished 4th in 3 days. We were both selected for a special assignment via a phone interview with the CSM for MDW. We both were promoted to E-4 at the same time, we both received our ARCOMs at the same time. However, when it came time for promotion to E-5, she had taken a couple of college classes while I had not. SHE got the promotion, I did not – and I was a better and faster typist and more efficient. So I said enough!
Not just that, it’s also part of what their responsibilities are.
Have several friends whose sons are engineering majors as opposed to history/criminal justice majors in ROTC. Expertise does not matter. Poor performance does not matter. Everyone in the pay grade paid the same. No motivation to stay late, give more, overperform.

POTUS talking about the new Bill Dems submitted, no Wall money. It (House version?) originally included $54B for aid to foreign countries, now the Dems have added another $12B. So their offer is no Wall and let’s give away more foreign aid “to countries they don’t even know about”.
POTUS mentioned DACA, which is at SC. Said Dems should have taken his prior offer. Said we’ll make deal with Wall and DACA. Not sure if he’s hinting that Shutdown will go on until SC decides or just negotiating now?

Anybody here deep into Congressional parliamentary procedure? Is congress trying to prevent PDJT from doing something he can only do when congress is not in session?
As this tweet notes, they obviously don’t intend to actually do anything in last hours of the 115th congress. Since Dec 23, the House has adjourned subject to the call of the chair, and has engaged in a series of pro-forma sessions. Under the rules, these types of adjournments may last no longer than 3 days, so every couple of days someone must show up and hold a session of some sort. Today’s session lasted two minutes. The House then adjourned. In doing so, they scheduled another session for tomorrow at 11am. Thus, they did not adopt a resolution to end the 115th congress.
Under the Constitution, the 116th Congress is to begin its session at noon.
Why would the 115th congress meet at 11am knowing that the 116th begins at noon?
probably in order to leave the president and his crew no time to do anything. if they do something before 11, the house will try and smack it down before noon, and will probably stay in session until noon.
my vote is: order all members of 115th congress to be held in protective custody at fort bragg, and all NON-RIGGED ELECTION 116th members only allowed into the capital building.

i was setting up a new laptop for someone in the office today and installed what used to be a great browser – firefox. so their default crap home page now shows you safe and friendly news and entertainment stuff they think you will like…
they were bragging up some NETFLIX show that was watched by 45 million accounts they claim over the weekend.
they extrapolate that with all the account sharing that MANY MANY more people have watched this show they are pushing like mad right now.
of course they do not want you to watch anything like the Patriot. my god, that might get you to think of what this country was like back during the revolutionary war period…

unfortunately i don’t really trust any at this point. i know some people here use Brave and seem to like it and think it’s “safer” than others, but frankly almost all of them are or can be corrupted.
i do web development for a job so i have almost every browser going just so i can test everything against every possible scenario…but i do not trust any of them anymore.
their safety and privacy has turned from really being that way to actually doing the opposite now. it is now marketed as “for your protection” not for your benefit of being anonymous.
10 years ago i was 100% firefox and frankly i had been using them since back in the day. i never used internet explorer for obvious reasons – and i used Netscape almost all the time during the 90’s, then i used what Mozilla because it was created by the Netscape developers when Netscape got bought out and destroyed. Netscape had the built in mail app and it was great and i hated when they went away.
firefox was a spin off of the Mozilla “package” and had Thunderbird for mail.
right now i am typing this on vivaldi although i’m not the fondest of this anymore but it’s probably my go to now when i want to just do certain sites. i used to trust opera also, but i haven’t opened that in a long time.
chrome – if i open that once a week now it’s only to debug some code for the website. i absolutely detest google completely which is unfortunate because i steered so many people that way (search, mail, etc) for so many years because i didn’t know what was coming down the pike so fast.
to be honest sylvia – i do not trust ANY application that get’s you on the “internet” anymore. and it’s not paranoia – they are all reporting back. now, you can go all out crazy and cover all your tracks through virtual machines and this and that and make a production out of every internet session, but i just can’t be bothered. i actually really dislike the web very much at this point and wish my living did not depend on it.
it turned into exactly what it was not supposed to be…
long story short you cannot really trust anything – just do your best to stay under the radar.
never stay logged into services or sites, always clear everything (they already have your activity anyway, but it’s a good placebo) when you get off. NEVER save any passwords or usernames, don’t let the browsers save your “form data” for your convenience…essentially it should actually be a bit of work to get online not “easy” as hillary says voting should be.

Here’s what I gather from that tweet: The original date on the poster was November 5, but it was changed to November 4 to correspond with the Q post about the movie theater posters, which depict “movies” named “Guardians of the Pedophiles,” “Panic in D.C.,” and “FISA Gate.” Changing the date appears to point to what Q is telling us is “now playing” or will be playing — in other words, things are happening and Pres. Trump himself is pointing it out.
It IS interesting because I don’t know of any reason to change the date, or to even have that poster on the table in the first place. It seems very unusual.
