Friend pays for best Insurance plan – 80/20 plan w/$1,000 deductible. Was hopitalized, getting EOB’s and bills saying he owes over $ 2500+ after Insurance has paid their part. WHAT’s the Deal, thought deductible was $1,000?? Oh, Insurance doesn’t pay 100% until after additional $3,500 out of pocket is met.

People are spoiled and lulled into complacency with the insurance plans. It used to be a perk to get any sort of insurance from an employer. Now, if they pay for all health related stuff….
The problem is that “Health Insurance” isn’t actually insurance. It’s like the “prepaid legal” scams of a couple of decades ago. There is a “Health Maintenance” infrastructure that scrapes 80% of the resources from the field and provides not a centime of actual health care — and Obamacare was a complete capitulation to this immoral, illegal scheme.
Bait and switch. Another case of insurance misrepresenting facts and pushing risk and cost back onto the policyholder. They sold the company on “oh yeah, we have low deductible plans,” but they know damn well they weren’t truly low deductible. This kind of thing should be taken to the state attorney general and the state insurance regulation commission – they shouldn’t be exploiting a loophole to misrepresent their products.
They like to present the shiny benefits packet at enrollment time, but if you want to see the policy, you must dig around to find it. They don’t give it to you, it’s hidden in a portal behind a link, and you might get a multi-page PDF document if you’re lucky there.
We have to demand better of these companies and their products. This is no different than the crap products from China they’re dumping on us that break in less than a year only to go to the landfill. We have to fight back against this. They need to know that when they play these games, they will get worn down with customer complaints, HR benefits providers, AG investigations, and audits from the insurance boards.
The most obvious case is that the company’s HR benefits manager pushes back on the insurer and ensures they are providing a product that behaves as advertised or tell them that they’re fired! But too often, they don’t take any personal responsibility to do so – they have the power to negotiate, yet they won’t.
One of the primary reasons companies provide health insurance benefits is to retain workers. If employees don’t have competitive health plans, well guess what, they go and work for the competitors! We have a severe problem with attrition; my company has had 25% at my worksite in the past year. When you start playing games with people’s health and their family’s health(!), they aren’t going to stay.
In the past, the union would provide some bargaining power for this sort of thing. These grievances couldn’t be pawned off as just onesies and twosies. Unfortunately, today’s unions are self-licking ice cream cones supporting themselves and not workers – so in many industries, employees are resistant to unionizing, and I think for good reason.
There isn’t a direct and easy answer. I have a friend who changes jobs constantly because he is literally shopping for medical insurance: he has severe diabetes and three autistic kids and he is constantly hitting walls with the insurers. At a personal level, you do what you have to do. For my family, I try to keep an emergency fund of several thousand dollars to buffer this. Cash is the best insurance policy.
The other obvious problem is that medical insurance shouldn’t be tied to employers. This is a holdover of WWII wage controls. The government froze wages, and companies tried to bridge the compensation gap through benefits. Medical insurance became tied to employers rather than something you could reasonably shop for, like car insurance.
The other long-term answer is to break the Uniparty control over the government and its perverse monetization and control scheme of the U.S. healthcare system. In other words, keep doing what we’re doing in information warfare to fix elections and get Trump back in office. The swamp thinks nothing of destroying people’s lives for their own personal gain. There are trillions at stake. If we had a high-growth economy with strong labor demand, these kinds of cut-the-corners games they play during inflation cheapening products and pushing costs back on others wouldn’t fly.

Surprised me and pretty sucky, this is a global company w/over 30K employees. They can and should do better. If it was me, I’d be screaming at HR. He’s not the type.
If that’s the case, he’s rolled over and accepted it.
He’s learned his deductible is really $4500, and he doesn’t care to take action: either with HR or to move firms.
He could also communicate his problems laterally with other employees in the organization – but it doesn’t sound like he’s willing to do that either.
One time won’t matter. But when the citizens of the United States are CONDITIONED toward FATALISM, to the false belief that they are powerless to change the very system that they by birthright were given the power and representation within, then they’ve already stepped into serfdom.
I learned that insurance companies will give you the WORSE DEAL up front. IF you scream and yell and toss a tandy they will cough up a much better deal.
This was gar insurance, But it is certainly worth a try with the hospital and insurance company. (I did it to a couple hospitals too.)

Surprise. ^^^Apparently, Mr. Hamlin was given CPR for NINE MINUTES.
And it took a defib device to get anything.
I imagine that any of the football players who were close enough to witness the CPR and Defib procedure did not have much interest in playing football afterward. It is a lot more intense than a TV show can portray. If all the facts coming out of the incident are correct (that is asking for a lot) then Hamlin would have been shocked more than once. That in itself is not unusual because usually such defibs start at a lower setting and work up toward max setting if initial attempts are unsuccessful. In the confusion caused by a cardiac arrest it takes time to try defib and the trainers and doctors may have had to wait on the ambulance for the proper equipment and drugs necessary. It all depends on what is in their sideline med kit. Only so much can be gleaned from “official” or eyewitness reports. The good thing is that while the fans and players may have been confused, the doctors and paramedics see this on a routine basis. The only unusual thing for them would have been the setting and the international audience.

Just thinking about the impact zone I would imagine that the tackle would be in the 10-15 mph range on most violent tackles. For the most extreme it may approach 20-25 mph, but that would require the players to be coming together at directly opposite vectors which is seldom the case. In most cases the collisions are glancing blows of some degree. Nothing approaching the speed of a puck or baseball. However the puck or baseball has significantly less mass involved but the distribution of force is extremely concentrated.

So, it appears that the spike protein in the “vaccines” causes whole-body inflammation, which inflammation then naturally causes a rise in body temperature as the body tries to fight off the inflammation.
This makes sense, given that the spike protein in the “vaccines” migrate to so many areas and organs of the body of the recipient.
Also, that any inflammatory response in the recipient’s body would likely be aggravated / increased by exposure to more spike protein contained in the “booster shots.”
Especially since the “booster shots” all contain the spike protein from the original Wuhan Hu1 strain of COVID-19, in addition to the spike protein from Omicron variants of the virus.
It therefore appears that what happens is a kind of what Yours Truly will call a “rolling cycle of inflammatory response” (RCIR) that really never gets cleared out of the recipient’s body.
That seems like a reasonable theory.
Corticosteroids lower the inflammatory immune response. My immune system occasionally goes haywire, and produces antibodies that demyelinate my nerves. I take a Medrol dosepak and it quickly stops. Within a day or two.

IMO, the problem with the COVID-19 “vaccine” spike protein is that it will force the body to produce inflammatory response as long as the spike protein is active in the body — and nobody knows how long this timeline is. Even if the “efficacy level” of “immunity” from a “vaccine” wears off within a couple of months, the spike protein is likely still at work inside the body. And the next “booster shot” keeps that cycle going, even after the “efficacy” and “immunity” wears off.

It is a good thing to be skeptical of medical opinion. I spent my working life in the operating room and ICU of hospitals. I was there as the government became ever more intrusive and the economic profiles of hospitals and point-of-care facilities changed.
What disturbs me most about this particular case is the statement that Mr Hamlin would not make a full recovery. That statement certainly points to some neurological impairment either brain-related or spinal cord-related. Watching the tackle that preceded the crisis did not seem like a significant trauma to the spinal cord but you can never tell for sure.
Neurological injury remains one of the areas of bodily impairment resistant to technological intervention in significant ways. There has been progress but most is still experimental and somewhat crude.
Theres more of an interest in AI to eliminate the need for a human, than to repair said human.
I wouldve thought if there was any spinal damage he wouldve had some difficulty getting up and he clapped his hands. Lots of fast voluntary movement. When he snapped his head back and fell thats the moment for me in thinking brain or heart just stopped.

My response about a celebrity is no different than my response when I hear of misfortune of anyone else I don’t know, but in the case of the celebrity, I am sometimes curious about certain details (that differ according to the situation). In the case of Mr. Hamlin, I want to know not only if he was jabbed (I think he had to have been if the team had a policy), but whether anyone is going to mention that fact, whether there will be pushback against that information and what the pushback will consist of, whether anyone in his profession will start to question policies and requirements, what will be reported and what will be censored, etc. All of that, separate and apart from the human element, because our society is under siege by a death cult, and too few people are aware or willing to look at it. Children are being targeted too. It has to be stopped.

I was watching the game as this happened, and I was simultaneously reading a Bills fan site where people discuss the games as they are being played.
When this happened, the site exploded with virtue signaling, as if the football player meant anything to anyone on the site personally. Anyone who deviated from the absurd hyperbole was condemned.

Forget about the most important aspect of the situation for anyone who did not know the young man personally – – the possible role of the shots. That was by far the most significant aspect of event.
It goes without saying that everyone everywhere in the world understood that the significance of the event was far different for those personally associated with the young man, but people felt compelled to state (falsely, I am guessing) that the event had some personal significance to them.
And so it goes. Just another sickening kabuki show put on by our oppressors, with millions and millions playing their part as a Greek chorus with falsetto voices competing to be the loudest. And amidst the din no other thing will be heard.

I get it, but hasn’t it been the strategy forever to keep the ineffective RINOs in place for whatever reason? Or, “let’s let things get as bad as possible so people will turn from Dems to Repubs”? I’m not sure that that works anymore. This is not politics as usual. And if we don’t get the voting system fixed, it’s useless anyway.
IMO, we need someone in place who can stop the bleeding; i.e., stop this fraudministration from hurting America. I’m tired of excuses for keeping weak people in power, and it looks as if some Repubs are on that same page.

I will try to listen later. I am listening to Lauren Boebert on Bannon, and she says McCarthy does not want the provision where they can remove a speaker (I can’t remember the term for it), that he is not cooperating with members about common-sense proposals, and that another House member, Mike Rogers, told Boebert that she will be denied any committee appointments if she doesn’t vote for McCarthy. It is the good-ol’-boys, politics as usual cabal, and IMO getting rid of it is part of draining the swamp.

When Trump was in the WH we could count on his leadership to make them toe the line, but they have shown their true colors since he was cheated out of his rightful place. We need strong leadership in Washington, and it’s missing in the Executive Branch and the Senate.
There is hope for the House. We’ll see what they do tomorrow and coming days.
