My dad was working two jobs as he was courting my mom. The movie “Exodus” came out during that period, and my parents went to see it. The story goes that there is a part of the movie where Zionist partisans are sneaking around in the dark for a long while, and then throw a grenade.

No, I wouldn’t, but then Christianity and islam are not equatable.
For one thing, a great many muslims are only muslim because they cannot leave islam without putting themselves in danger from other muslims.
Nothing more should be required to delegitimize any belief system, than that adherents are threatened with bodily harm if they leave ‘the faith’.
However, if the whole planet was to ostracize anyone who believed and practiced Christianity, I suspect that the majority (maybe even a large majority) would stop believing and practicing it.
Because people are people, and as we have all seen since Covid, people are highly influencable via social control mechanisms, and people who resist such social controls are a distinct minority.
Back to islam. Just because a claim is made, doesn’t mean it can withstand critical scrutiny.
The Old and New Testament have withstood harsher and more critical scrutiny than any other writings in the history of the world, by far.
Almost no one subjects islamic writings to any scrutiny at all, because islamic psychopaths threaten to murder those who would.
Imagine a flat earther who said if you critically examine his claims, he’ll kill you. And so will his 1.2 billion friends.
So right there you’ve got a serious problem that discredits the entire belief system. Its adherents are so murder-crazed that no one of any academic or similar authority can publicly critically examine islam without endangering his own life.
That’s a dead giveaway to any honest heart. If they truly believed their own teaching, then what do they have to fear from examination of their beliefs?
The Koran couldn’t even exist without the author having prior knowledge of the Old and New Testament, in the same way that Joseph Smith’s religion couldn’t exist without having prior knowledge of the Old and New Testament, either.
Neither one are original works, they are both derivative.
Joseph Smith claims to have received his information from an angel called ‘Moroni’, if I remember correctly.
Do you know what the Book of Mormon says on the opening page?

The books of islam contradict themselves all over the place, and could not even exist without knowledge of the OT and the NT, because they are derivative works.
So an honest heart has to choose who to believe.
Do you believe the inspired Word of God, which remains unbroken?
Or do you believe the words of Mo?
If you believe the words of Mo, you have some problems.
First, you have to break the Scriptures (OT and NT), proving they are not what they claim to be, that is, the Word of God.
No one has succeeded yet.
Then, after proving it, the believer of Mo has to establish the credibility of Mo, and do so to an even higher degree of proof than the OT and NT have established, since the believer in Mo must necessarily argue that the degree to which the OT and NT were established was insufficient, if believers in Mo ever succeed in proving God’s Word to be false.
The next problem is, if muslims claim allah is the same God as revealed in the OT and NT, then why didn’t God start with islam?
Did God, Who is perfect, make a mistake, which needed to be corrected with islam?
I can hear the objection now, could the same argument not be made regarding the Old and New Testaments? It could, unless the OT prophesied and foreshadowed and revealed that there would be a new covenant/testament, and that new covenant/testament actually fulfilled the prophecies of the old covenant/testament.
No such argument can be made regarding the NT and islam, there is no prophesy in the NT about another revelation (islam) to come, and nothing taught in the NT is fulfilled in islam.
Or do they claim that the Word of God was corrupted? Is God, being all powerful and almighty, incapable of ensuring His Word is preserved through time?

No, they do not.
Not only does no such evidence exist for Abraham, but in truth, no archeological or other evidence has been discovered about anything in the OT or NT which has proven either Testament false.
This would be an extraordinary thing in any other context, where the the objective observer was not so biased against the Scripture.
Take ALL of the texts of ancient civilization, practically everything we know about humanity’s past, the works of the ancient Greeks and everyone else.
In nearly all cases, only 5 or fewer copies (or fragments of copies) exist. None, not a single one, is an original writing. And of those few existing copies, the majority are at least 500 years to a thousand years removed from the original writing, if I remember correctly.
And nearly all of our knowledge of the ancient world comes from such writings, which scientists and academic specialists acknowledge as accurate history.
Then there are the Scriptures, the 66 books that make up the Bible.
These books were copied so extensively that hundreds of thousands of ancient fragments have survived and been discovered, in addition to whole books.
The last time I checked (maybe 10 years ago), the oldest fragment yet discovered was from the gospel of John, dating to 125 AD, or approximately 25 years after the last Apostle is thought to have died, within living memory of people who knew the Apostles and heard them teach and preach.
The amount of evidence for the Scriptures is orders of magnitude greater than even the most prolific evidence for other ancient writings. So if one is to discount the authenticity and veracity of the Scriptures, one must necessarily also discount all of the other ancient texts for which orders of magnitude less evidence exists, rendering us effectively blind with regard to the history of human civilization.
Because scholars cannot look at other ancient texts for which there are few surviving copies that were written hundreds or even over a thousand years after the original, and consider them authentic and valid, while discounting the 66 ancient books of Scripture, for which far greater (and earlier) evidence exists.
The surviving writings of 1st and 2nd century Christians quoted Scripture so extensively that nearly the entire New Testament can be pieced together from the quotes in their writings, no different than the way people quote them here at WQTH today.
These things (and many, many more) for the NT, along with the Dead Sea scrolls proving the accuracy of the text of the OT, soundly refute the arbitrary claims of Joseph Smith and modern day islamists.
It’s not a case of ‘he said, she said’, it is a case of put up or shut up.
The Scriptures remain unbroken.
Mo and Joseph Smith can claim whatever they like, anyone can claim anything, but until or unless they can substantiate their claims, why should anyone assign any credibility to their claims?
Do you see the difference between the vast amount of evidence for the 66 books of the Bible, and the lack of evidence supporting the claims of Joseph Smith and islam?

The writings of Mo came some 500+ years after the New Testament was complete.
The writings of Joseph Smith came some 1,700+ years after the New Testament was complete.
Without the New Testament, Joe and Mo would not even know who Jesus was.
If their knowledge comes from the Scriptures, and they claim the Scriptures are corrupt, then likewise is their knowledge of Jesus necessarily called into question.
Unless they claim to be the recipients of some new revelation, which they both do.
But their new revelation is claimed to be from the same God Who is the Author of the 66 books of the Bible, so if that same God could not prevent the Bible from being corrupted, then by what reason of logic is He able to keep the writings of Joe or Mo from being corrupted?
They can’t have it both ways, not rationally or defensibly. They can’t claim that God, being perfect, screwed up the first time (OT) and the second time (NT) but got it right the 3rd time (islam) and the 4th time (Mormonism).
Who has evidence to support their claims?
Not Joseph Smith. He could not produce the supposed plates that contained the writing he claimed to have received from the angel Moroni.
So all we have as evidence to support Joseph Smith’s claims is the word of Joseph Smith.
And that’s not good enough.
What about Mo?
Where is his evidence?
If he has any, in order for it to be considered valid, he must first prove that the preexisting Scriptures are corrupted, which necessitated his supposed ‘new’ revelation.
He can’t prove that, and neither can any of his followers, to this day.
In fact, the evidence that the Scriptures we have today are the same as in the 1st century (and not corrupted) has only increased with the passage of time.
The Dead Sea scrolls had not been discovered yet, when Joseph Smith was alive.
Many archeological discoveries had not yet been discovered, when Mo or Joe were alive.
Like the Pilate stone. Until it was discovered in 1961, lots of scholars disputed that Pilate ever existed. Because of their bias, and because no direct evidence existed outside of the Scriptures.
People like to say that the Scriptures cannot be evidence for themselves because it would be self-referencing, but that is untenable.
The 66 books of the Bible are each individual ancient writings, not one writing. So the book of Matthew and the book of Mark and the book of Luke and the book of John are four separate ancient writings, bearing witness and testimony to many of the same historic events, not one book bearing witness to itself.
But those who are biased against the Scriptures are strongly motivated to be that way, because if they admit the Scriptures are true and the authentic Word of God, that knowledge and acceptance would have profound consequences for their own lives.
And they don’t want that.
So they are naturally (and strongly) biased against the Scriptures from the get-go.
They are hostile critics, which almost all critics are, and yet even the most harsh and hostile critics have not succeeded in breaking the Scriptures.
Nobody really tries to ‘break’ the islamic writings, besides Salmon Rushdie, because nobody outside of islam takes it seriously.
Just as nobody outside of the Mormon church takes Mormonism seriously.
But why do so many people, throughout time, take the Scriptures so seriously, that many academics have devoted their entire professional lives in the vain attempt to break them?
What is it about the Scriptures that is so different from the religions of men, such that God’s Word must be destroyed by any means possible?
They claimed Pilate didn’t exist. They never could substantiate that claim, but they made that claim anyway, right up until the moment they couldn’t do so any longer:

It permeates their thoughts and lives and livelihoods as much as air and water.
And most of us in the West cannot conceive of a people being so subjugated and so controlled.
Maybe we should look at why it’s called “Islam” and what it means to “Islam”.

And the violent muslims have the Authority of their founder on their side. It is those who would be peaceful toward outsiders who are the heretics, according to the FOUNDER of islam and his authoritative writings.
So the strong and violent rule in islam, and they have the Authority in their own books to be violent, both towards outsiders and towards any of their own who defy the violent teachings of their founder.
This is the difference.
People who self-identify as Christians can also be horrifically and corruptly violent (e.g., the Inquisition), but Christians cannot support or defend such violence with God’s Word.
They can only do it in opposition to God’s Word, in opposition to their highest Authority.
By contrast, people who self-identify as muslims can be horrifically violent with the full support and encouragement of their founder and his word.
So it is the SOURCE and FOUNDATION of islam that is violent and anti-human.
This is why the SOURCE and FOUNDATION must be addressed directly and eradicated.
People who self-identify as Christians who rape and murder do so in opposition to the belief they claim to hold, and in opposition to their God.
People who self-identify as muslims who rape and murder do so in fidelity to the belief they hold, and with the encouragement of their god.

Ukraine SitRep: Storming Andivka – Ukrainian Losses
The Russian military has launched small attacks along the whole frontline. A major effort is made near Andivka which yesterday was bombed to smithereens:
The headline reads “RF Army has delivered a blow of previously unseen might against the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU)”. What they are describing is an aerial bombing of Avdeevka, the heavily fortified Ukrainian town 14 kilometers away from Donetsk city, which is an urban center of more than a million inhabitants and capital of the Donbas oblast (region) of the same name. Donetsk city has been struck by missiles and artillery shells launched from Avdeevka on a daily basis from the time before the Special Military Operation, and with ever greater intensity during the SMO. Video images of destroyed homes and apartment buildings have appeared on Russian evening news together casualty figures and the testimony of victims.
The attack on Avdeevka came early in the morning when the Ukrainians were attempting to carry out a rotation of their troops. Eyewitnesses said that “the earth shook” in the whole area as a result of the bombing.

If the Russians have really reached Siverne in the south and Berdychi in the north that is major progress and leaves a gap of just 7km, with only two roads well within Russian artillery range.The Russians may also have gained a foothold in the south of the built up fortified areas, providing the bridgehead from which to slowly work through the rest of Avdiivka. If Russia can fully encircle Avdiivka it can spend the winter slowly subduing it with the Azov and the massive guided bombs.
That will be a great achievement to clear the way for a Spring offensive from that area, and in the meantime may suck in many Ukrainian brigades if the Ukrainian leadership attempt to defend/retake it as they have with Bakhmut.

The only explanation I have read was cuts in the security budget left their border police units understaffed. In that same article it mentioned that the first targets of the Hamas soldiers were the police stations. As for the army response I have no information.

Further, the “incubator babies” from Kuwait story get thrown around. So I understand, tell me; do we believe world governments and media will make up any number of lies to convince us something did happen, but we don’t believe they would make up lies to convince us that something didn’t happen? Are we SURE that events that were “debunked” weren’t real?
