No, this is the time of year when the birches have their open-air sex, and when I once again consider writing a will and testament, wherein the county water works is going to inherit my nose. They are the only place that would find it useful what with all the water coming out of it.

Thus, a cisdimensional wet horror.

Positive pressured, HEPA filtered cleanroom….

GA/FL

Tree pollen can indeed engender misery. Down here in the GA/FL region in a dry year, oak and pine pollen can put a thick yellow coat on everything and fill the air with sneezy dust (you can see it like a yellow fog wafting in the breezes) until a good rain brings relief and washes the pollen off surfaces and out of the air.

TradeBait2

Same here in east TN with all of our trees and such.

cthulhu

For many kinds of plants, each plant will be either male or female. The males produce pollen and the females bear fruit when fertilized.

Back in the day, when they first started building industrial parks and shopping centers, the landscapers would very carefully avoid fruiting plants, because the dropped fruit got everywhere and made sidewalks hazardous and ruined car finishes. So they’d plant exclusively male plants….

And then — surprise surprise! — they discovered that people were having worse allergy problems in their industrial parks than if they were out in the country standing in a field.

One of the comments read:

I was taking “History of European Film – 1920-1930” at UCLA in 1969. We’d watch two films a day, four per week. Each day we’d have a guest speaker. One day the professor announced, “Our films for today are ‘M’ and ‘Metropolis’. Our guest speaker is Fritz Lang.”

That was a fascinating session.

cthulhu

This was 1927…..four years before “Frankenstein” —

— music is Holst: “Mars, Bringer of War”

scott467

And seven years before the Hays Code (censorship, a.k.a. Motion Picture Production Code) was imposed by the film industry.

It’s sometimes fascinating to see what was portrayed on film before the Hays Code, and how ‘sanitized’ American films became after the Hays Code went into effect in 1934, continuing through 1968.

cthulhu

When censors first began to restrict movies, they just weren’t very good at it. One of my favorite anecdotes to that effect relates to The Maltese Falcon (1941). At one point, Sam Spade (Humphrey Bogart) suggests giving the hired gunman over to the police to satisfy the civil authorities.

Except he uses the word ‘gunsel’, which doesn’t have anything to do with firearms. It’s a diminutive of ‘ganz’ (a goose in German) and in Yiddish roughly means ‘faggot’ (which would have been forbidden). Thing is, the censors didn’t speak idiomatic Yiddish and were persuaded it was a San Francisco word for gunslinger.

scott467

That’s quite a guest speaker!

I took History of Film in college, it was my first experience (of any depth) with foreign films and silent movies.

I didn’t think very much of the foreign films we watched, because they were so different in narrative structure from most of the movies (mostly American blockbusters) I had seen up to that point.

But because I had been exposed to foreign films during that course, and learned some things about them, and who some of the great directors were, years later I was willing to try them and I was better able to appreciate them, when I’m sure I wouldn’t have, otherwise.

Sort of gets back to the phenomenon that many people have a barrier to hearing or seeing or accepting new things, if their minds have not been somewhat prepared beforehand.

Really great films are uncommon, but your odds of finding them are a lot better when the pool of available titles is from the whole world 😁

M” (1931) is a classic, about a child murderer (played by Peter Lorre) who is hunted down by the whole city, very nicely restored on blu-ray 👍

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/M-Blu-ray/18091/#Review

Another great Fritz Lang film is The Big Heat (1953) a film noir with Glenn Ford and Gloria Grahame 😍

Glenn Ford and Gloria Grahame were paired up again in 1954, in Fritz Lang’s Human Desire.

The Woman in the Window (1944, Edward G. Robinson, Joan Bennett, Dan Duryea) and Scarlet Street (1945, again with Edward G. Robinson, Joan Bennett and Dan Duryea, recently restored and released on 4K) are two more classic film noirs directed by Fritz Lang.

cthulhu

In ‘M’, Lang borrows a technique from Opera of having a musical leitmotif associated with the murderer — he whistles “Hall of the Mountain King”.

Unfortunately, even with attempts at training, Peter Lorre was unable to whistle…..so what is heard in the film is Lang whistling.

scott467

I didn’t know that.

There is a remake from 1951 directed by Joseph Losey, that is also supposed to be very good, taking place in Los Angeles.

I haven’t seen it yet:

Barron Trump to step into the political arena as a Florida delegate at the Republican convention

Trump, former President Donald Trump’s youngest child, who will graduate from high school next week and has largely been kept out of the political spotlight, was picked by the Republican Party of Florida on Wednesday night as one of the state’s at-large delegates to the Republican National Convention, according to a list of delegates obtained by NBC News.

“We have a great delegation of grassroots leaders, elected officials and even Trump family members,” Florida GOP chairman Evan Power said. “Florida is continuing to have a great convention team, but more importantly we are preparing to win Florida and win it big.”

Trump’s position as a delegate will be his highest-profile political role thus far.

In a family full of politically involved children, Barron Trump, who turned 18 in March, has retained much more of a private life than his older brothers, Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., both of whom will also be Florida at-large RNC delegates, along with Trump’s daughter Tiffany…

It should be easy enough to find him — he’ll be one of the tallest delegates on the floor.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton news:

Attorney General Ken Paxton Secures Important Win in Censorship Lawsuit Against Biden Administration

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton secured an important victory in an ongoing lawsuit against the Biden Administration for unlawfully censoring American media companies. The federal government sought to have the lawsuit dismissed, but a federal district court judge denied the Biden Administration’s request and ordered expedited discovery.

In December 2023, Attorney General Paxton sued the U.S. Department of State, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and other government officials over their conspiracy to censor, deplatform, and demonetize media outlets disfavored by the federal government. Through its “Global Engagement Center,” which was only authorized to counter foreign propaganda, the State Department actively intervened in the news-media market to limit the reach and business viability of domestic news organizations by funding censorship technology and private censorship enterprises. The agency unlawfully weaponized the center to violate the First Amendment and suppress Americans’ constitutionally protected speech. The Daily Wire and The Federalist joined Texas in the lawsuit and the New Civil Liberties Alliance is serving as co-counsel.

“The Biden Administration made a reprehensible attempt to censor the American press with funding intended to monitor foreign propaganda, aiming to repress viewpoints the federal government disagreed with,” said Attorney General Paxton. “Abusing taxpayer money, Biden repurposed a government agency into a censorship apparatus. It must stop, and I am proud to lead the Nation’s fight to save the First Amendment.”

Attorney General Ken Paxton Seeks Injunction Halting Border NGO’s Systemic Criminal Conduct in Texas

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed an application for a Temporary Injunction against Annunciation House to halt its systemic criminal conduct in Texas. The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) has reviewed and obtained sworn testimony indicating that Annunciation House’s operations are designed to facilitate illegal border crossings and to conceal illegally present aliens from law enforcement…

“Any NGO facilitating the unlawful entry of illegal aliens into Texas is undermining the rule of law and potentially jeopardizing the safety and wellbeing of our citizens,” said Attorney General Paxton. “All NGOs who are complicit in Joe Biden’s illegal immigration catastrophe and think they are above the law should consider themselves on notice.”

It doesn’t just need to stop, the people doing it need to be made an example of to the whole world, to be punished so severely, that it will be a hundred years before anyone tries it again.

Because they will try it again.

The only question is how long will it take.

Like the holocaust and Nazi experimentation on people, for example. That was supposed to be a “never again” thing, but we found out that ‘never’ really meant around ~75 years, or just long enough for most people to forget.

cthulhu

What happens to the people doing it should be part of horror stories for the next few hundred years.

AMERICAN NUCLEAR GUINEA PIGS: THREE DECADES OF RADIATION EXPERIMENTS ON U.S. CITIZENS
https://web.archive.org/web/20080110053408/http://www2.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/radiation/dir/mstreet/commeet/meet1/brief1/br1n.txt

The recent acknowledgement by federal officials that the government conducted radiation experiments with human guinea pigs has grabbed the attention of all U.S. citizens, and the reason is that most people assumed that our country would not engage in this kind of activity. I think the fact that the federal government — our government – funded or engaged in this kind of activity is the most disturbing Act of this whole story. Most Americans thought that our country would not take that kind of action…..

A review of these documents reveals the frequent and systematic use of human subjects as guinea pigs for radiation experiments. Some of these experiments were conducted in the 1940’s and 1950’s, and others were performed during the supposedly more enlightened 1960’s and 1970’s. The report describes in detail 31 experiments during which about 695 persons were exposed to radiation which provided little or no medical benefit to the subjects. The report notes that it seems appropriate to urge the Department of Energy to make every practicable effort to identify the persons who served as experimental subjects, to examine the long-term histories of subjects or an increased incidence of radiation associated diseases, and to compensate these unfortunate victims for damages….

These experiments were carried out at the Manhattan District Hospital at Oak Ridge, Tennessee; Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York; the University of Chicago; and the University of California. San Francisco….

The overall conclusion from the folders for polonium and uranium injections among the DOE plutonium papers is that these additional experiments were carried out at the University of Rochester by some of the same investigators involved with the plutonium injection experiments. Although staff of the Atomic Energy Commission clearly knew of these additional experiments in 1974, the Commission investigation was truncated with the plutonium injection experiments….

….also the expectation that radioactive material would be administered on for the benefit of a patient. Yet your 1986 report described experiments in the 5Os, 60s, and into the 70s, where subjects received ionizing radiation that provided little or no benefit to the subject. The fact that the later experiments occurred indicates that the 1947 guidance was either violated or overturned in the interim….

experiments,” defined in part as, “experiments on individuals involving intentional exposure to ionizing radiation. This category does not include common and routine clinical practices, such as established diagnosis and treatment methods, involving incidental exposure to ionizing radiation.” (Executive Order, President Clinton, 1/18/94)….

It therefore seems appropriate that as the Interagency Working Group moves forward, some effort should be devoted to determining precisely what standards were in effect in April 1947, and how they deteriorated over time. The matter of what standards were in effect after 1947 and whether they might have been violated is also related to the question of what compensation would be appropriate for experimental subjects.

…Considering the history on the lack of informed consent with these experiments….

Early on, we thought IVM and HCL could be effective against COVID.
We also believed natural immunity plays an important role.

slowcreekno

«Trust the science» is like saying «trust the machining of the clockwork» or even «trust the sausage-making process», it is a kind of category error.

Science is a process, not a product.

1/ The opinions on IVM, HCQ and natural immunity may have started as beliefs, or at least it became a set of reasonable hypotheses.

To some extent these were based on observed behavior in analog situations: notably the observed antiviral properties of HCQ and IVM, as well as the usefulness of natural immunity in people who have had SARS and never had it again during the 17 years available for observation.

Later discoveries have only been supporting these hypotheses. IVM and HCQ have been shown to work well. The natural immunity from having had the coof was superior to any kind of antibody conjured by the juice in the jabbs. At some point it earns a status similar to that of thermodynamic laws, considered valid until, and because they have not been, disproven.

Looking at the other links here today shows in several different ways how Biology is surprisingly difficult.

2/ There are the problem of reliability of the Neuralink connections to the nevrons in the brain, which initially appears to be similar to a common engineering issue of joining dissimilar materials, shows some problems. While it does resemble some of the issues extant with pacemakers and cochlear implants, and the solutions may be similar to what makes these work reliably. (even if it is a matter of replacing electrodes periodically).

3/ And then there is yet that another Promethean idea of the artificial meat. As if natural meat isn’t good enough. Apparently this artificial meat consists of cells of an everlasting nature, that is, cancer cells. Normal muscle cells which is what comprises natural meat are subject to aging like other cells in the animal. And who knows what the long-term effects of eating cancer cells will be? Doesn’t appear that palatable, though it is possible to fool people for a while, until the questions appear about questionable effects of the food. Hydrogenated oil, various artificial sweeteners, HFCS, the whole fat-scare originating with Ancel Keys … it took a while before the problems caused by these products and practices started to be recognizeable; this process is still on-going.

So out of all these three stories, it is evident that biology is hard, and long-term effects or reliability is at best a second thought.

Gail Combs

“…The opinions on IVM, HCQ and natural immunity may have started as beliefs,…”

NO! They were very good working hypotheses based on scientific work showing they worked on Corona Viruses BEFORE covid ever hit.

Dr Navarro shoved FIFTY PAPERS into Fauci’s face but it made no different.

https://www.cnbc.com/2024/05/08/neuralinks-first-in-human-brain-implant-has-experienced-a-problem-company-says-.html

Elon Musk’s startup Neuralink on Wednesday said part of its brain implant malfunctioned after it put the system in a human patient for the first time.

Neuralink has built a brain-computer interface, or a BCI, that could eventually help patients with paralysis control external technology using only their minds. The company’s system, called the Link, records neural signals using 1,024 electrodes across 64 “threads” that are thinner than a human hair, according to its website.

In January, Neuralink implanted the device in a 29-year-old patient named Noland Arbaugh as part of a study to test its safety. The company streamed a live video with Arbaugh as he used the BCI in March, and Neuralink said in an April blog post that the surgery went “extremely well.”

But in the weeks afterward, a number of threads have retracted from Arbaugh’s brain, Neuralink said in a blog post Wednesday. This meant there were fewer effective electrodes, which inhibited the company’s ability to measure the Link’s speed and accuracy.

Neuralink did not disclose how many threads retracted from the tissue. The company did not immediately respond to CNBC’s request for comment.

As a workaround, Neuralink said it modified the recording algorithm, enhanced the user interface and worked to improve techniques for translating signals into cursor movements, the blog post said. Neuralink reportedly considered removing the implant, but the problem hasn’t posed a direct risk to Arbaugh’s safety, according to The Wall Street Journal, who earlier reported on the problem. Neuralink shared its blog post after the Journal asked the company about the issue, according to the report.

Though some threads retracted from Arbaugh’s brain tissue, Neuralink said he is using the company’s BCI system for around eight hours a day during the week, and often as many as 10 hours a day on the weekends.

Arbaugh said the Link is like a “luxury overload,” and it has helped him to “reconnect with the world,” according to the blog post.

Neuralink is not the only company that is building a BCI system, and the technology has been explored in academic settings for decades.

Neuralink has a long road of safety and efficacy testing ahead before it can be eligible for approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to commercialize the technology.

I guess real meat doesn’t qualify as “sustainable” food. These people think they can improve on nature. They also think they need to improve on nature. The hubris is off the charts.

It is interesting that there is a Korean TV drama called Blood Free which deals with the political, economic, and social disruptions of lab grown meat. It imagines a rather dark future for such a thing. It was fascinating but got a little sidetracked in the end with lab grown organs for human use. I have an affinity for Korean TV. It does a rather good job of exploring the human condition. Human nature, being what it is, offers opportunities for in-depth analysis.

The story I heard was that the film was supposed to show how successful and bustling San Francisco was in order to lure investors and businessmen — so cars like 4867 would do loops around the cable car in order to increase the visible traffic.

Which might have worked, if a substantial amount of the city weren’t destroyed by earthquake four days later.

By Peter Navarro – – Tuesday, May 7, 2024

OPINION:

The failure of the Bureau of Prisons to implement two major federal laws mandating sentence reductions for nonviolent and first-time offenders costs taxpayers billions of dollars annually even as it increases recidivism risk and the crime rate — never mind the human misery such malign neglect entails. This is the most pressing of the many problems I’ve observed as a prisoner of conscience from inside the walls of a federal prison.

In any fair and efficient criminal justice system, a prison sentence must be long enough to match the crime while sufficient to deter future criminal behavior. Based on my conversations with nearly a hundred fellow inmates and supplementary research, the United States justice system wildly over-sentences and significantly delays releases and thereby misses this mark.

Here’s Prisonomics 101: We must be as “smart on crime” as we are “tough on crime.” Every inmate costs taxpayers $60,000 a year, and the costs of over-sentencing and the Bureau of Prisons‘ failure to release inmates in a timely manner run well into the billions.

America’s over-sentencing for first-time and nonviolent offenders begins with a large roster of “hanging judges” fearful of a political backlash from a citizenry rightly angry with the breakdown of law and order in our society. However, far too many of these black-robed czars have little concept of what it means to be behind bars, and it means nothing to impose sentences twice or more as long as might be needed to adequately punish and deter.

Here, the significant variance across judges in sentences for the same crimes is both well known and troubling. In my own dorm, one inmate got a soul-crushing 150 months for embezzlement while his co-defendant got a mere 30 months for a much larger role in the scam.

Second, over-sentencing has been institutionalized through outdated “mandatory minimums,” which regularly put first-time, nonviolent offenders in prison for 10 to 15 years or more. Mostly, these are young men, often with wives and young children. They will go from youth to middle age in our prison system at a per capita cost to U.S. taxpayers approaching $1 million. In prison, their skills and employability will deteriorate. Tragically, their children will go from babies to teens without a male parent.

Third, there is the “RICO wing” of the Department of Justice, now exploiting and often abusing the broad powers of federal racketeering laws. Indeed, DOJ prosecutors routinely use overly broad “conspiracy” charges to threaten defendants and their family members with ridiculously long sentences if the defendants refuse to plea bargain and instead go to trial. When the inevitable plea comes, coerced defendants are often still saddled with eight-, 10- or 15-year sentences for white-collar crimes that, absent the RICO gambit, would be settled through civil rather than criminal prosecutions.

Through such coercion, DOJ prosecutors act more like racketeers than those they are prosecuting. Their goal is not justice but simply another scalp to take for their resumes and professional advancement. I have met numerous men in prison who had their lives, families, and job-creating, tax-generating businesses ruined by DOJ’s RICO wing and who never should have been put behind bars.

Congress has sought to address this over-sentencing epidemic through the Trump-era 2018 First Step Act and the 2008 Bush-era Second Chance Act and its 2018 reauthorization. Yet the Bureau of Prisons has largely ignored the mandates Congress has given it.

For example, during my prison stay, I have worked with dozens of first-time and nonviolent inmates. I have discovered case after case where prerelease custody into a halfway house and home confinement had been delayed for months and sometimes more than a year. I had this happen even in my own case, which has lengthened my prison stay by more than one-third.

One of the biggest reasons the Bureau of Prisons fails to release inmates in a timely manner is its failure to follow a 2022 directive mandating full forecast release credits under the First Step Act and the Second Chance Act. An equally big reason is simply bureaucratic inertia, which causes many inmates who fail to speak up to fall through the cracks.

One of the most economically perverse problems I have observed is the refusal of the Bureau of Prisons to allow inmates into prerelease custody because of the closing of some halfway houses and a lack of halfway house capacity. This is not just inhumane; it is fiscal insanity.

It costs taxpayers half as much to support an inmate in a halfway house. So when the Bureau of Prisons closes halfway houses to save a few dimes and inmates have to stay in prison longer, the total cost to the Bureau of Prisons — and taxpayers — goes up.

Finally, while Congress has significantly relaxed the rules governing compassionate release, time and again, the Bureau of Prisons and wardens at prisons like mine in Miami won’t approve such releases. In my prison dorm alone, there is a 66-year-old in deteriorating health in a wheelchair, an 80-year-old in even worse condition, a guy with what is likely terminal cancer, and a 40-something suffering from the aftermath of a stroke and related spinal surgery. All should have been sent home months or years ago.

This is not what Congress intended, and the Bureau of Prisons‘ failure to obey the laws of our land — irony noted — is needlessly costing taxpayers billions annually while increasing crime and recidivism rates. This travesty is happening on President Biden’s watch. It’s well past time to add “smart on crime” to the political mantra of “tough on crime.”

Robert Baker

There is a distinct possibility that Peter will become this century’s version of Chuck Colson with respect to prison reform. That is probably a good thing. God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform.

pgroup2

Except that Colson was [and he freely admitted] a rightly convicted criminal who repented after finding Christ in prison. Navarro is not a criminal in anything except his one-finger salute to a witch hunt gang.

And Navarro has an appeal pending which will likely rule that his refusal was correctly based on presidential immunity / separation of powers.

Robert Baker

My comment was addressing the possible outcome of being exposed to the prison culture and how it might affect Peter’s perspective about what merits his attention going forward. I was not comparing the relative worthiness of each’s imprisonment.

pgroup2

I got that; I was merely pointing out a detail that might not be known to all of our audience/lurkers.

There are far too few people of Navarro’s intellect and abilities in positions of power, not only in the prison system, but throughout many organizations, including government. People keep electing nincompoops, and election fraud also guarantees that they stay in their positions. I hope some good will come of Navarro’s imprisonment.

I went back to closer to my previous diet, just with a continued concentration on protein and occasional lapses for sweets and a few processed carbs over the colder months. The benefits of having done the Keto have lasted through this spring and I have been doing outdoor projects on the decks, gardens, etc. frequently with no burns, just slight tanning.

I am restarting the Keto this month. I have a Scots-Irish background with a small amount of Cherokee blended in.

i imagine after this, if the polls for dems don’t rise, they will try mortgage relief. Sanders says it plainly–America is the richest country–so let’s get the taxpayers to pay for everything–sounds socialist to me. this time he wants medical debts forgiven…smdh
why don’t these politicians ever go after the colleges (for exorbitant class fees) or hospitals/insurance companies (for high treatment fees)?

FTA
Two prominent progressive lawmakers, the Vermont senator Bernie Sanders and California congressman Ro Khanna, revealed on Wednesday a new bill aimed at eliminating medical debt.
The bill, introduced with Oregon senator Jeff Merkley and Michigan congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, would create a federal grant program to cancel all existing patient debt and amend the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act to block creditors from collecting past medical bills. The legislation would also update billing requirements for medical providers and alter the Consumer Credit Reporting Act to prevent credit agencies from reporting information related to unpaid medical bills, alleviating the risk of such debt damaging patients’ credit histories.
Sanders and Khanna described the legislation as vital for many families’ financial security, as millions of Americans struggle with the burden of medical debt. According to a 2022 investigation by NPR and KFF Health News, more than 100 million Americans, including 41% of adults, hold some kind of healthcare debt. A KFF analysis of the Census Bureau’s survey of income and program participation suggests that Americans owe at least $220bn in medical debt.
“This is the United States of America, the richest country in the history of the world. People in our country should not be going bankrupt because they got cancer and could not afford to pay their medical bills,” Sanders said in a statement.

these are NOT refugees grateful to be out of a desperate situation. these are demanding, insolent invaders. they set up a tent city and are making demands—they learn quickly, do they not? someone needs to school their asses–they ARE criminals.

The list sent to Mayor Mike Johnston included requests for provisions of “fresh, culturally appropriate” food, no time limits on showers and free immigration lawyers, the outlet reported.

The migrants insisted that if these are not met, they will not leave their tent community.
The current encampment is situated “near train tracks and under a bridge,” Fox 31 noted, adding that it has been there for the last couple of weeks.

Further details of the demands read, “Migrants will cook their own food with fresh, culturally appropriate ingredients provided by the City instead of premade meals – rice, chicken, flour, oil, butter, tomatoes, onions, etc… Shower access will be available without time limits & can be accessed whenever… Medical professional visits will happen regularly & referrals/connections for specialty care will be made as needed.”

The migrants also insisted they get “connection to employment support, including work permit applications for those who qualify,” as well as “Consultations for each person/family with a free immigration lawyer.“Additionally, the migrants demanded privacy within the shelter once moved there and, “No more verbal or physical or mental abuse will be permitted from the staff, including no sheriff sleeping inside & monitoring 24/7 – we are not criminals & won’t be treated as such.”

Aubergine

Rant incoming.

I keep seeing videos of the students “occupying” college spaces and I have finally had a revelation.

The problems we are having with college students aren’t the faculty and their leanings. That contributes, certainly, but it’s not the main issue.

The reason these students are being indoctrinated and are falling for it is, they are mostly morons. Almost none of them belong in college; they should be the faces you see at your local Starbucks or McDonalds.

“It’s commonly cited that undergraduates are significantly smarter than average, with IQs ranging from 115 to 130. But as a team of Canadian researchers showed in a recently published meta-analysis, that “fact” is woefully out of date.

Conducted by first author Bob Uttl, a psychologist and faculty member at Mount Royal University, and his co-authors Victoria Violo and Lacey Gibson, the meta-analysis aggregated numerous studies measuring college students’ IQs conducted between 1939 and 2022. The results showed that undergraduates’ IQs have steadily fallen from roughly 119 to a mean of 102 today — just slightly above the population average of 100. In short, undergraduates are now no more intelligent on average than members of the general population.”

https://bigthink.com/thinking/iq-score-average-college-students/:

When I was in college, students were intelligent. We were challenging to our professors. If they were full of shit, they were up against intellects who knew it. But for the past 50 years, educational institutions have pushed ALL students towards college, even the ones who are really not intellectually up to it. Add to that the student loan program, and you have what we have today; barely average people in universities, under the influence of progzi professors. Of course they are indoctrinated. They aren’t smart enough to fight back.

Rant over.

pat frederick

when i went to college, i had a full time day job and a child to take care of. I went to evening classes and sometimes, the day students took evening classes. My finance professor constantly pointed me out to the day students–she has a full time job and a child and evening classes and still manages to complete her assigned projects and is doing way better than any of you! (didn’t win me any friends, but it demonstrated i had a will to do it and a good work ethic which the regular college kids didn’t have.)

Aubergine

I also was a mom in college. I managed.

pat frederick

right?
we managed our time and got things done.
kids today are coddled.
my kids had summer jobs at 14. they earned a little money–and learned how to MANAGE that money. as adults, they are successful. (college however did turn them more liberal than i thought it would.)

mollypitcher5

Did you happen to see a vid yesterday with an highly femmy guy giving a tour of their protest grounds? If you didn’t know better one would think it was a middle school camp Arts and crafts, showing palestinian food, demos for understanding the culture, etc.
They’re the most immature adults I’ve ever seen. .

pat frederick

they never matured past middle school

pgroup2

Molly, keep in mind that those you see are but a small portion of the student body. Not that those others are raging MAGA but they aren’t quite as looney as the campers are.

Aubergine

College is designed to do that. We need to work hard to change it. But in the meantime, we also don’t need to send every child to college. It’s ridiculous.

There are many Soros-funded / Soros-linked organizations that have multiple “spin-off” groups connected to them, which also get funds “funneled” into them. The “tentacles” run deep and far.

Note: Many of the groups listed here have broken links. One has to go to a search engine and type in the name of a group to find its current website.

Here’s one example of a “spin-off”: a “spin-off” group connected to the Tides Center (itself part of the Tides Foundation):

I think you’re probably correct that their IQs are lower. The education system is dumbing people down, students aren’t taught how to think, entitlement mentality runs rampant, and young people are not taught how to be responsible, mature adults. They are going to have to learn the hard way that you don’t get handed things on a silver platter. The Left wants to indefinitely postpone such lessons to get votes.

Gail Combs

AND a lot of them belong in trade schools. There are different kinds of intelligence and counselors SHOULD be aiming students towards their strengths.

Aubergine

Agreed. When I was in high school, there was an entire wing of the school dedicated to the trades.

interesting read. the author suggests that Smith is violating the very statute the doj is using to go after J6ers.
FTA
The Supreme Court, though, is hearing Fischer v. United States, which sees one of the DOJ’s victims contesting the DOJ’s assertion about § 1512(c)(2)’s applicability to the J6. The argument is that § 1512(c)(2) manifestly applies to a very narrow fact set; namely, corruptly interfering with evidence in an official investigation. Heck, it’s in the statute’s title: “Tampering with a witness, victim, or an informant.” Every section of the statute manifestly deals solely with efforts to destroy or otherwise manipulate evidence in a matter intended to lead to a criminal indictment.
Nevertheless, to imprison ordinary Americans, the DOJ came down hard on subsection (c)(2) of the statute because it contains the phrase “official proceeding.”

(c) Whoever corruptly—

[snip]

(2) otherwise obstructs, influences, or impedes any official proceeding, or attempts to do so,

shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.

But while the DOJ is focusing everyone’s attention on subsection (2), they’re ignoring subsection (1):
comment image

(c) Whoever corruptly—

(1) alters, destroys, mutilates, or conceals a record, document, or other object, or attempts to do so, with the intent to impair the object’s integrity or availability for use in an official proceeding…

Does that remind you of anything? It certainly does me.

Heaven

We may never know how it came to be,
That we were chosen, both you and me
But “Glory to God!” is what we’ll give,
For God gave His Son so that we can live.

In our meager minds we can’t comprehend
What God has planned for us at life’s end.
Our joy will surpass all finite confines
As we bask in God’s light – His glory divine.

Oh, to be on that beautiful shore,
Complete in Him with sin no more.
Death and sorrow now gone, no pain.
Godliness, contentment and gain remain.

Sublime peace and joy, through every day;
Smooth paths grace us, guiding our way.
Every day fills with righteousness and love,
All planned before by our Father above.

After an eon in God’s golden light,
We’ll still be filled with amazed delight.
God’s joyful abundance exceeds our dreams,
As our praise flows to Him in heartfelt streams.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

FRIEND AND COMFORT

We think we know all about Jesus
We undoubtedly believe He frees us
His blood protects us from all harm
No rhyme or reason for alarm

By His stripes we are totally healed
We just need to trust our fate is sealed
It is our friendship with Him that reveals
The secrets that experience conceals

Jesus is a friend who ne’er lets us down
Through thick and thin He is always around
When we least expect He appears so close
He comes quickly by the prayer we chose

Did you know he is physician/therapist
He can diagnose/propose repair it best
When all have thrown in the towel tis true
He has the perfect plan for what to do

No one would believe if ever be told
His glorious guidance to behold
Unless they experienced the intimacy
Of a relationship with legitimacy

His patience purges tumultuous tears
His calmness fractures frightening fears
His nearness comforts the hopelessness
His strength befuddles broad brokenness

When we cry through the pain He lifts us up
Offers us a sip from the Blessing Cup
Encourages us to endure thru it all
As He readies us for His Divine Call

It’s an exercise in humility to give it all to Him
Not something He takes lightly on a whim
Tis a gift of assurance we’ll succeed
As long as we trust in Him and accede

Repub introduces a bill into the House to send anyone charged and convicted of illegal activity on any college campus to 6 months community service in Gaza. won’t go anywhere, but they’re getting creative.
FTA
Those convicted would be forced to serve a minimum six-month community service sentence in Gaza, where Israel is currently waging a brutal campaign to eradicate Hamas and rescue the remaining Israelis that terrorists took hostage in October.
“Students have abandoned their classes to harass other students and disrupt campus-wide activities, including university commencement ceremonies nationwide. Enough is enough,” Ogles told Fox News Digital.

JUST FOR FUN – AND – FOR SCOTT

BE SILLY

Silly is as silly does
As silly is meant to be
Outrageous uncontrollable because
It’s a release to set us free

We might feel foolish for a little while
Embarrassed and giddy and nutty
Normally not like us or our style
Unglued and detached without putty

So when you feel overwhelmed
Just let go and be silly
Shake the shackles be unhelmed
Writhe about willy nilly

Refrained and restrained for so long
Tied up in knots we have become
Stiff and unfit is oh so wrong
What happened to many benumb

Surely events of the past two years
Have shaken and rattled outrightly
Increased our fears brought us to tears
And unnerved us more than just slightly

So if you are unravelled and uptight
Pay no mind to the cold and chilly
Get rid of the stress release it outright
Just let yourself go and be silly

from what I read, the bill says to be counted in the census, you have to be a citizen. it passed. but they EXPECT the dems to either vote against this or not bring it to a vote in the Senate thereby killing it. and in killing it, it sets a precedence that congress addressed citizenship in the census and did not approve it. tricky dems

I can’t find any information about Barron’s IQ. This article from People magazine, which seems pretty balanced and is not snarky, says he is bilingual, speaking English and Slovenian.

Barron is bilingual and can speak both English and Melania’s native Slovenian. As a little boy, Melania says Barron often called his grandmother and spoke to her exclusively in Slovenian.

While the things said in the meme might be true, I suspect it’s the work of one of those people who have no relationship with the truth and who use cutesy emojis to support their fictions.

I imagine the truth lies somewhere in the middle, that Barron is highly intelligent, that he might have studied other languages but that he might not have “mastered” them, and that he is an excellent chess player but not in the “legendary” category.

Judge Arthur Engoron Under Investigation for Allegedly Receiving Unsolicited Advice Before Fining Trump $454 Million

Judge Arthur Engoron is now under investigation after claims surfaced that he received unsolicited advice from a prominent New York City real estate attorney, Adam Leitman Bailey, weeks before ordering former President Donald Trump to pay a hefty $454 million judgment.

This investigation by the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct seeks to determine whether Engoron violated judicial conduct rules, NBC New York reported.

In March, Engoron ordered Trump to pay more than a $355 million fine and barred Trump “from serving as an officer or director of any New York corporation or other legal entity in New York for a period of three years.” Trump was also required to pay interest on the penalties, bringing the total amount to $454 million.

Bailey stated publicly that he spoke with Judge Engoron three weeks before the decision, advising him to “get it right.” Although Engoron has denied any influence from Bailey, the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct is reportedly investigating whether Engoron violated judicial conduct rules, according to NBC New York.

“I actually had the ability to speak to him three weeks ago,” Bailey told NBC New York on Feb. 16. “I saw him in the corner [at the courthouse] and I told my client, ‘I need to go.’ And I walked over and we started talking … I wanted him to know what I think and why…I really want him to get it right.”

Bailey maintains he has no personal connection to any lawsuits involving Trump and is not a fan of the former president. He claims to have advised Engoron that a ruling imposing such a substantial fine could damage New York’s economy. Bailey also mentioned that Engoron “had a lot of questions, you know, about certain cases” during their conversation.

In response, Judge Engoron’s spokesperson Al Baker vehemently denied any impropriety, stating that “No ex parte conversation concerning this matter occurred between Justice Engoron and Mr. Bailey or any other person. The decision Justice Engoron issued on February 16 was his alone, deeply considered, and wholly uninfluenced by this individual.”

This is good. I wonder how the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct got involved: whether they observed how high the fine was and decided to look into it, whether they were alerted by someone, etc.

pat frederick

yeah–i posted that earlier. from what i read, the dems voted no to non citizens voting. the bill goes to the Senate where they will either ignore it or outright kill it. however a precedence is then set–that Congress considered making it a law, but declined to do so…therefore it is deemed okay.

JUST IN: Federal Appeals Court Rejects Hunter Biden’s Bid to Toss Felony Gun Charges

A federal appeals court on Thursday rejected Hunter Biden’s bid to toss gun charges.

“The defendant in this criminal case appealed three pretrial orders entered on April 12, 2024, denying his motions to dismiss the indictment,” the court document released Thursday states. “This appeal is DISMISSED because the defendant has not shown the District Court’s orders are appealable before final judgment.”

In September Hunter Biden was indicted on federal gun charges. He was indicted in a Delaware court on three counts related to his possession of a firearm while using drugs.

“Two of the counts carry a maximum prison sentence of 10 years, while the third has a maximum of five years,” NBC News reported.

Hunter pleaded not guilty to all three felony gun charges in October.

Separately, Hunter Biden was hit with a 9-count indictment filed in the Central District of California: Tax evasion, failure to file/pay taxes, and false/fraudulent tax return.

US District Judge Mark Scarsi, a Trump appointee, tentatively set the trial for Hunter’s tax-related charges for June 20.

If convicted on the tax-related charges, Hunter Biden faces up to 17 years in prison.

Re: Zantac
Pfizer to Settle 10K Lawsuits Over Drug Linked to Cancer, Costing Company Millions

Big Pharma giant Pfizer confirmed on Wednesday that it will settle more than 10,000 lawsuits over allegations that the company failed to warn people about possible cancer risks caused by their Zantac product.

Zantac is the company’s once-popular anti-heartburn medication featured in a multitude of television commercials, many of which featured an animated fireman character.

But in 2020, the Food and Drug Administration warned that Zantac and its generic version, called ranitidine, should be pulled from the shelves after a cancer-causing substance called NDMA was discovered as a contaminant linked to the medication.

Now, the company has agreed to settle the thousands of cases filed in state courts all across the nation over the substance, according to Bloomberg News.

Terms of the Pfizer settlements have not been disclosed.

“Pfizer has explored and will continue to explore opportunistic settlements of certain cases if appropriate, and has settled certain cases,” the company said in a statement.

Pfizer and other companies began developing the generic version of ranitidine in 1997 once Glaxo’s patent for the ingredient expired, according to the New York Post.

“The company has not sold a Zantac product in more than 15 years and did so only for a limited period of time,” the statement from Pfizer added.

After the FDA made its recommendation to pull the product, thousands of lawsuits were filed against pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer, GSK, Sanofi and Boehringer Ingelheim.

Sanofi already settled about 4,000 lawsuits last month.

Bloomberg reported that Sanofi will pay $100 million in its settlement, marking an average of $25,000 for each plaintiff.

But Sanofi still faces more than 20,000 lawsuits in the state of Delaware.

Indeed, there are up to 70,000 cases in Delaware courts against Sanofi and the other Big Pharma companies.

“Sanofi is settling these cases, not because we believe the claims have any merit, but rather to avoid the expense and ongoing distraction of the litigation,” the company said in a statement.

Like Sanofi, GSK has settled some of the suits leveled against the firm.

According to the Daily Mail, NDMA is a common byproduct of many industrial processes, including the making of rocket fuel.

“NDMA is a ‘‘forever chemical,’ meaning that it doesn’t degrade, or break down, naturally in our bodies and is believed to cause DNA damage,” the outlet reported.

For me, trust is broken.

FreedomWorks Is Closing — And Blaming Trump

FreedomWorks, the once-swaggering conservative organization that helped turn tea party protesters into a national political force, is shutting down, according to its president, a casualty of the ideological split in a Republican Party dominated by former President Donald Trump.

“We’re dissolved,” said the group’s president, Adam Brandon. “It’s effective immediately.”

FreedomWorks’ board of directors voted unanimously on Tuesday to dissolve the organization, Brandon said. Wednesday will be the last workday for the group’s roughly 25 employees, though staffers will continue to receive paychecks and health care benefits for the next few months.

The development brings to a close a period of turmoil for the organization. FreedomWorks laid off 40 percent of its staff in March of 2023, and as a result of a drop in fundraising, its total revenue has declined by roughly half, to about $8 million, since 2022, Brandon said.

In an exclusive interview with POLITICO Magazine, Brandon said the decision to shut down was driven by the ideological upheaval of the Trump era.

⬇️

After Trump took control of the conservative movement, Brandon said, a “huge gap” opened up between the libertarian principles of FreedomWorks leadership and the MAGA-style populism of its members. FreedomWorks leaders, for example, still believed in free trade, small government and a robust merit-based immigration system.

I can’t remember when we might have had a merit-based immigration system. It would have been decades ago, so I don’t understand what the Freedom Works people stood for. When things are so broken, there comes a time that you have to stop, fix the problem, and then have safeguards in place for immigration based on merit. I don’t understand how anyone could think we have the capacity for that now, with leftists coddling illegals at the cost of citizens.

“Our staff became divided into MAGA and Never Trump factions”…

“He let a bunch of right-wing nutjobs turn FreedomWorks into a MAGA mouthpiece,” the former FreedomWorks staffer said.

My impression is of pie-in-the-sky libertarian beliefs that are unworkable, especially given the current situation. I tend to think good riddance to this organization that wasn’t helping to MAGA.

FreedomWorks, which was founded in 1984, grew out of the Koch-funded group Citizens for Sound Economy. FreedomWorks split apart from the Koch political network in 2004.

Brandon said he has plans to launch a new organization focused on politically independent members of the millennial and Gen Z generations, whom he thinks will be receptive to libertarian policies. “If we started something new, you could build it from the ground up,” Brandon said. “You could build a brand that matches what these folks want, and you could get away around all the baggage [associated with the FreedomWorks brand].”

He can go to Chicago and New York and tell the people whose neighborhoods are overrun with illegals that we need a “robust, merit-based system.” We need a solution to the current problem, ASAP.

Company Perspectives:

Lloyd’s is one of the world’s oldest and most established international insurance and reinsurance markets, transacting business worth billions of pounds in premiums every year. It is not an insurance company but a competitive market where individual underwriters accept risks on behalf of some 164 syndicates of individual and corporate members whose resources provide the security behind Lloyd’s policies. Lloyd’s is a broker market. Business comes into the market through Lloyd’s brokers who bring business from clients and other brokers and intermediaries from all over the world.

Company History:

Perhaps the world’s most famous insurance group, Lloyd’s of London is a uniquely organized insurance market. It does not sell insurance per se, but regulates a market through which insurance contracts are transacted. The organization is a society of individuals–and, since 1994, corporations–that accept liability for claims under insurances accepted on their behalf. Business can be placed only by approved insurance brokers, known as Lloyd’s brokers, which are in turn grouped in 164 underwriting syndicates.

Incoming… Judge Cannon to Unseal Documents Related to Mar-a-Lago Raid

Judge Aileen Cannon is preparing to unseal motions filed by Trump related to the Mar-a-Lago raid and Obama judge Beryl Howell’s unlawful order that pieced Trump’s attorney-client privilege.

Cannon held a telephonic status conference Wednesday to expose Howell’s order obliterating Trump’s attorney-client privilege.

Howell previously ordered Trump’s lawyer Evan Corcoran to testify before a grand jury in special counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into classified documents stored at Mar-a-Lago.

Judge Howell flipped Trump’s own lawyer Eric Corcoran into a witness when she obliterated Trump’s attorney-client privilege in a ruling.

Cannon is about to let all the documents fly!

She is going to hold separate evidentiary hearings regarding the following.

1) Motion to dismiss for vindictive & selective prosecution

2) Motion to dismiss regarding the unlawful appointment of Jack Smith

3) Scope of the prosecution team

The third one is the one Jack Smith was REALLY hoping to avoid. It will reveal the collusion between the WH General Counsel, NARA, DOJ, and FBI Counter Intelligence Division. She’s going to hear the defense team argument as to why these entities should be considered part of the prosecution team. This will mean that all of their records related to this investigation from the very beginning would be considered material discovery and HAVE to be turned over to the defense team, thus exposing their collusion and when it started.

Grab your popcorn!

After WWII FAULT LINES via nation states were created so with the pick-up of a phone you could say, Hey we need to destabilize this particular area…” It is WAR on DEMAND… after WWII over 75 governments have been destabilized if not coupped. Op Gladio was re-named ‘Color Revolutions’ to hide how long it has been in operation.(Late 1800’s at least) Brits did fault likes post WWI and NAto Post WWII. They manufactured artificial nations including groups that were not compatible on purpose to allow destabilization…. NGOs are controlled by Intel community….

They use students and media hypes the stories

10 mins they will have paramilitary forces on stand by. The last step is to send in the paramilitary….

:wpds_arrow: 11 minutes AS YOU SAW IN INDIANA UNIVERSITY THEY HAD SNIPERS ON THE TOP OF THE BUILDINGS THERE.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

This is an example:
Operation Gladio – Hard Evidence of Government Sponsored False Flag Terrorism.

Operation Gladio was formally revealed in 1990 by the Italian Prime Minister Giulio Andreotti in an official statement to the Italian parliament. By then, Gladio had already been exposed in the courts and elsewhere, but Andreotti’s ‘official’ revelations widely exposed the unpalatable reality. Italian investigations, into the ‘Years of Lead‘, revealed NATO’s hand in a series of terrorist atrocities that had taken place in Italy throughout the 1950s to the 1980s. These included bombings, assassinations, kidnappings and mass shootings by terrorist organisations. There is no doubt that elements within the NATO Deep State were routinely using false flag terrorism to control and manipulate public opinion and shape policy.

This is not the speculation of ‘looney conspiracy theorists,’ it is proven, well documented historical fact….

That is certainly something I was never aware of before.

Colonel Towner-Watkins mentions a reporter was killed to shut him up and when that didn’t work they started a war to deflect attention from the news.

In another video Breaking History (I am not sure which one) it is mentioned The Order of Nine Angles is an Op Gladio in USA and it has serious Alester Crowely material on web site.

So I took a look see…

O9A Endorses Biden-Harris 2024 Campaign

Politics can be summarized as a net loss for humanity, a political system we have adopted out of fear of the others in which the lowest common denominator of opportunism and emotionality triumphs over any kind of leadership.

That being said, democracy is failing; worldwide nations are going broke, preparing for war, inundated with refugees, beset by internal refugees, ruled by careerist psychopaths, and perhaps most ominously, electing leaders who are associated with foreign powers.

This means that the arc of history bends toward the end of democracy, and soon.

The last thing we want right now is one of these Christian band-aid do-gooders like Nikki Haley, Vivek Ramaswarmy, Chris Christie, Donald Trump, and Ron DeSantis to take over and fix things.

We want to rush into the abyss so that the end of history” can come to its natural terminus and a new Dark Age will be visited upon the Earth.

In this new era, might will make right, the claw and tooth will always be red, and blood will cross the land like an ever-flowing stream. The strong will oppress the weak, the weak will die, and natural selection will resume.

This can only happen through weak humanist leadership that will stumble its way into war, famine, recession, terrorism, corruption, and human misery. The suicides will leave before the battles commence.

Only Biden-Harris can bring about this advancement of history, and therefore, we endorse the Biden-Harris campaign in 2024.

Just a note on Operation Gladio. Gladio the double edged Roman Sword likely indicates the origin of Operation Gladio. Britain learned it from the Romans. If you examine the colonization of Spain by Rome after defeating Hannibal you can get a narrower look of the Roman practice of Divide and Conquer as special private interests from Rome continuously tore that country apart for centuries after the war to fill pubic and private coffers.

Divide and rule – Wikipedia

  1. Tradition attributes the origin of the motto to Philip II of Macedon: Greek: διαίρει καὶ βασίλευε diaírei kài basíleue, in Ancient Greek, meaning “divide and rule”. Divide and rule policy (Latin: divide et impera), or divide and conquer, in politics and sociology is gaining and maintaining power divisively. Lord Dufferin and the Indian National Congress, 1885-1888 – JSTOR

  1. The over-all result of the historiography of the origins of Indian National Congress has been to cast Dufferin in a reformist mould during the initial years of his viceroyalty and to credit with determining in large measure the political character of Congress as well as establishing harmonious working relations. 21.

Whoops… just violated the dang link rule….

Any way.. was trying to say that the British East India Company had an open policy called Divide and Rule.

See many links here which include multiple vids. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=The+policy+of+%27Divide+and+Rule%2C%27+initiated+by+Lord+Dufferin&t=vivaldi&ia=web

Ran across this while looking over the opening of Tilak’s book “Full & authentic report of the Tilak trial. (1908.) Being the only authorised verbatim account of the whole proceedings with introduction and character sketch of Bal Gangadhar Tilak together with press opinion” after reading the Peter Navarro tweet earlier today. Knows that his long book will have many things of interest for Peter as Tilak went through the exact same thing. While reading through the opening character sketch at the begining of the book https://archive.org/details/fullauthenticrep00tilarich/page/n17/mode/2up I noticed “Divide and Rule” mentioned in the second paragraph and attributed to one Lord Dufferin, thus the search above. Also came across to this Divide and Rule policy being mentioned in movie seen recently on the Queen Rajani who had her empire taken after a series of fights against the British EastTea Companies war machine that took place earlier in the 1850’s.

So bottom line, this Operation Gladio is simply old bad and condemned practices still being done today.

Around 25 minutes the video gets even more interesting.

First the War Hampster lays out a situation in Belarus. Putin and the long time president have a bit of a tiff. Putin wants closer ties esentially Belarus as a state within Russia, Belarus says NO! Russia who was supplying cheap oil stops so Belarus starts buying oil from USA.

The state Department moves in along with NGOs

The 2020–2021 Belarusian protests were a series of mass political demonstrations and protests against the Belarusian government and President Alexander Lukashenko.[70][71] The largest anti-government protests in the history of Belarus, the demonstrations began in the lead-up to and during the 2020 presidential election, in which Lukashenko sought his sixth term in office…

The Colonel suggests this may have been a trap set by Putin and Trump. The intel agencies WERE UNHAPPY THAT TRUMP HAD OTHER SOURCES… HMMMmmm

Given all the info from Matt, Gordon, the Colonand the War Hampster; as the Colonel said the illegal international Mafia/Cartel essentially BECAME the governments and have been looting everyone every where ever since with impunity by BECOMING the CIA/State Department/MI6….

NO WONDER the Intel agencies hate Trump’s guts!

It’s just the gravity from those enormous hooters pulling her skin towards the ground. By the time she’s 70, her eyelids will be where her nipples used to be!

The Felix M. Warburg House is a mansion at 1109 Fifth Avenue on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City. It was built from 1907 to 1908 for the German-American Jewish financier Felix M. Warburg, in the Châteauesque style, and designed by C. P. H. Gilbert. After Warburg's death in 1937, his widow sold it to a real estate developer. When plans to replace it with luxury apartments fell through, ownership reverted to the Warburgs, who donated it in 1944 to the Jewish Theological Seminary of America.

It works!

I had no idea what that button was for 😂

After eliminating the links with the </> function, I had to copy and paste the text to an external document (like Word) and then copy and paste back into Wordpiss, otherwise it turned out like the post above. But it worked. Very helpful for copying text with lots of unnecessary links. Thank you Gail! 👍
