Glory to God
Created for God’s Glory (Isaiah 43:7)
Isaiah 43:7 “. . . everyone who is called by my name, whom I have created for my glory, whom I formed and made.”
We might have asked ourselves these questions, “Why has God created us? What is the purpose? What do the scriptures have to say in regard to this matter?” God’s Word points out that all things are created for God’s glory.
We can see by the word of God that even nature itself glorifies God. Psalm 19:1 says “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims His handiwork”, Psalm 8:1 says “O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory above the heavens.” In fact, God’s Word tells us all things are to praise God, as it says in Psalm 150:6 “Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!”
So from this viewpoint, mankind is created to give “glory” to God. But what does the word “glory” mean in the first place? In order to apply this passage to our lives, we need to first understand the meaning of the word “glory”.
Depending on the context in which it is used, “glory” can be used in several different ways. Mostly it is associated with attributing splendor and majesty to God, but glory is also used as a verb, as in “to glory in something”.
When used as a verb, “glory” means to put confidence in and boast about or praise something. This may be used in the sense of glorifying in God or Jesus Christ, which God’s Word portrays as something that is good, and in the another sense of the word it can mean to glorify in ourselves or our own nature, which God’s Word portrays as sinful.
The original Hebrew word (Kabod) means “weight” or “heaviness”. This word is also used to express importance, honor and majesty. The word glory as related to God in the Old Testament bears with it the idea of greatness of splendor. In the New Testament, the word translated “glory” means dignity, honor, praise and worship.
With this understanding, let’s look at Isaiah 43:7 again, which says “everyone who is called by My name, whom I have created for My glory, whom I formed and made.” Now we that we have a clearer understanding of the word glory, let’s see how we can fulfill the purpose of giving all glory to God, which is the very reason we are made.
We are image-bearers of the Almighty God. We are created to bring glory to Him, to honor Him, to praise His glorious name, to thank Him for His abundance in our life and to praise Him for His abundant grace, the riches of His love, His splendor and majesty and a God who is righteous and just and having power in His name that we may come to Him in reverence and awe. This is the very purpose of man – to glorify God in every way.
Glorifying God means to acknowledge His greatness and give Him honor by praising and worshiping Him, primarily because He, and He alone deserves to be praised, honored and worshiped. 1 Chronicles 16:28-29 says “Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the peoples, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength! Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His Name; bring an offering and come before Him! Worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness;”
He is also due all glory because He gives us our very being itself. Psalm 100:3 says “Know that the LORD, He is God! It is He who made us, and we are His;” In a worldly sense we are quick to give gratitude and praise to someone we know, that has saved our very life from danger or even from death itself.
Sometimes we don’t even know how to thank that person for what he/she has done for us. We tend to hold that person in high regard and praise their actions. Sometimes we even use the phrase “I am forever indebted to you”. This shows a kind of gratitude towards that person because of the enormity of their actions toward us and we feel we owe them something in return but don’t know how. We sometimes even use the phrase, “I don’t know how I’m ever going to repay you!”.
In the same way, what we need to realize is that not only has God saved our very lives from the wages of sin and death, and given us eternal life, but that He is the very author of life; it is the kindness of God to gift us our very life. When we look at this, isn’t it only reasonable that we should glorify Him? Shouldn’t we live to Him, seeing that we also “live by Him”. Romans 11:36 says: “For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever. Amen.”
Another reason we should glorify God is because all our hopes hang on Him. Psalm 39:7 says “And now, O LORD, for what do I wait? My hope is in you.” Not only is our very hope and expectation in Him but He is the source of all things in our lives. Psalm 87:7 says “All my springs are in you.” The springs of grace, mercy, love, faith, provision, healing and everything that will lead us to give glory to His Holy Name.
Not only that but He gave His one and only Son, Jesus Christ to come and die for our sins in our place and to take the sin of the world on His shoulders that we should be cleansed of all sin and made right before God. All of this was given as a free gift that cost us nothing, but cost Him everything. We would be totally and utterly ungrateful, unappreciative and thankless if we then questioned, why should I give God Glory, or isn’t is selfish for God to demand glory from His own creation. He is completely and totally worthy of all glory that is due to His Name, and His Name only. Praise God!
Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!
Holy, Holy, Holy
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee;
Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!
Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore Thee,
Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea,
Cherubim and seraphim falling down before Thee,
Who wert and art, and evermore shalt be.
Holy, holy, holy! Though the darkness hide Thee,
Though the eye of sinful man Thy glory may not see;
Only Thou art holy; there is none beside Thee,
Perfect in power, love, and purity.
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
All Thy works shall praise Thy name in earth and sky and sea;
Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!
For a good portion of my life, I have wondered from time to time about appropriating a secular song or songs with melody and beat I like and altering the verses to give praise and glory to God.
This is one such song, which only seems to need a small, one word change.
My heart is on fire
My soul’s like a wheel that’s turning
My Christ is alive
My Christ is aliiiiiive
yeah, yeah, yeah!!
Best on Easter Sunday, naturally. 🙂
Or assign a different meaning to an existing one. I’ve always always dedicated this to Jesus.
It happens all the time. There’s at least two hymns we use that are set to the Thaxted tune which comes from Gustav Holst’s The Planets in the Jupiter Suite. There’s several other tunes borrowed.
I’ve heard that many hymns used tunes that were basically repurposed drinking songs or common/secular songs known in pubs..
Finlandia comes to mind….
Indeed. There’s that one passage in it that is a Finnish patriotic song, and someone repurposed it as a hymn in English. Which irritates a lot of Finns.
This tune should be familiar. I sang this on Saturday, and the other hymn set to it this morning. And then How Great Thou Art.
I love it!
For some reason it brought tears to my eyes.
I am curious about those symbols. I know symbols can have multiple meanings. Do those have meaning within the Catholic Church? Because they look like this pedophile symbol.
To think we can control mother nature.
Wow! Didn’t I hear that there was a tsunami warning for that in California?
Any seismic event will do that but rarely is it a hazard.
But, but, but climate change…
Daughter married yesterday. I did not flub my lines and the dance went well. Did not step on the dress during the walk down the isle. Mission accomplished.
By the way, 80 guests at the venue. No masks except for a couple of old folks who had them off by the end of the night. And a couple of staff who wanted to wear them. So a semi normal event that went well.
Glad for her and all their friends that were able to attend. Lots of dancing and celebrating which was great to see. Couple of relatives did not come due to covid fears which was unfortunate. But I told her there is no changing minds over this one. Not worth the effort fighting. FJB and the fear they have put in the people.
My mother who lives in England has only left her apartment a few times to get jabbed. She is 80 and will probably live to 100. She got her flu jab and 2nd covid at the same time. That woman ain’t dying anytime soon. She will live long enough to bitch at me for not calling enough for a long while.
Great to hear!!!
Are the happy couple going to attempt a honeymoon?
Yes. They are going to Cancun, Mexico at the end of the month flying first class on Delta using up all my hard earned points. My wife and I were planning to go to Peru, her place of birth but due to covid not happening.
As I feel the wedding and start is so important I felt this was a good investment. They are both very religious with a strong church group so they are off to a great start.
We discovered years ago that the ONLY way to survive a long flight is not being stuck in the straitjacket cabin. 😂
Speaking of airlines – you can use your British Airways Avios on American. At the BA site, just plug in a route they don’t fly and it shows you the AA schedule. We’ve flown PHL to DFW for Avios and $11.00 more than once. 👍🏻
And congrats on your celebration!
Congratulations, RF! We knew you could do it. 😎
Great report! Glad everything went well!
Congrats, Good Job Dad!! Your Momma’s one tuff ‘bird’. 😉 CALL YOUR MOMMA! 😂
When I am on my road trips I give her a call. I keep reminding her to turn off the news.
All good news about the wedding. Congratulations – including for not screwing up!
Even the bulletproof jabbed mom is good news. LOL!!!
Congratulations all around!
Call your mother 🙂
I am happy for your daughter and her husband and for you and your wife that all went well.
I wish your daughter and husband lots of happiness peace and joy to last a life time.
May God Bless your family.
Whoo Hoo! Congrats. I remember the relief after my daughter’s wedding went off w/ minimal issues this past Summer. We needed a few days to regroup due to exhaustion but it’s nice to get those major events behind us & accomplished well, like you did!!! 💖
God Bless and Keep You BakoCarl. Thank you for being ever Faithful.🙏💖
Thank you for sharing this uplifting, God-honoring, scripture-based, modern worship classic. Beautiful, timely, & restorative. Blessings!
Blessings Miss Valerie!! 😍🤗😘🥰😍❤💖💞
This is incredible. Just superb.
Per Revolver news: “The best anti-COVID-vaxx, anti-mandate letter you will ever read”
Editorial: UChicago Must End Its Booster Mandate—We Are Not Lab Rats
UChicago continues to defy scientific and moral standards, dehumanizing us in the process.
by The Editorial Board January 11, 2022
Per the University of Chicago’s newly announced booster mandate, all students and employees must obtain a booster shot by January 24. Those who do not comply will be barred from campus and restricted from attending in-person classes, among other activities.
This booster mandate is demonstrably unsafe, ineffective, unnecessary, inconsistent, and unethical. We’ve struggled beneath UChicago’s draconian COVID decrees for years, but the university’s booster mandate reaches a new height of absurdity.
UChicago Demands We Submit to Experimental Shots
UChicago claims to rely upon “expert” opinion in structuring its COVID regime. Yet, even advisory committees at the FDA and CDC initially declined to recommend the COVID booster for those under the age of 65.
The FDA’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee made an official recommendation to approve Pfizer’s application for boosters only for those 65 and older and certain high-risk populations after rejecting, in a 16-2 vote, Pfizer’s application for broader approval for the general population. The committee cited a lack of data on potential adverse effects, particularly the risks of developing myocarditis and pericarditis.
However, the FDA chose to cast aside this concern and granted “approval” anyways. But even this “approval” is itself questionable. The FDA only granted approval to Comirnaty, a legally distinct version of the Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine that isn’t actually available in the United States. The version of the vaccine currently available in the US remains under Emergency Use Authorization, not formal approval.
Similarly, the CDC’s initial recommendation that Americans under the age of 65 receive boosters was made against the counsel of its own Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, which voted to recommend boosters only for those over the age of 65 or who have underlying conditions. Director Rochelle Walensky overruled this vote in an unusual departure from agency protocol. The committee later reversed course, recommending a booster for 12-17 year olds. But the calculus behind its sudden 180-degree turn remains unclear, given that the initial concerns regarding myocarditis and pericarditis remain unresolved.
Vaccine-induced heart issues merit legitimate concern, especially for young males. A recent Danish study found that “pharmacovigilance reports, health system surveillance studies, and case series suggest an association between SARS-CoV-2 vaccination and myocarditis and myopericarditis. This association is thought to occur particularly after the second booster dose of mRNA vaccines BNT162b2 (Pfizer-BioNTech) and mRNA-1273 (Moderna).” An analysis published in the New England Journal of Medicine reached similar conclusions, particularly in males between the ages of 12 and 29.
Meanwhile, a new study published in the journal Obstetrics & Gynecology found a positive association between COVID vaccination and increased menstrual cycle length.
According to Diana Bianchi, director of the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, “Nobody expected [the COVID vaccine] to affect the menstrual system, because the information wasn’t being collected in the early vaccine studies.” The study’s authors notethat “questions remain about other possible changes in menstrual cycles, such as menstrual symptoms, unscheduled bleeding, and changes in the quality and quantity of menstrual bleeding.”
Ironically, despite the speed with which the vaccine and booster have been infallibly declared “safe and effective” in disregard for potential long-term risks, the FDA is in no such rush to release its data on the vaccine.
According to the FDA’s statement on expanding eligibility for boosters to individuals 18 years of age and older, “Both Pfizer and Moderna are conducting post-authorization/post-marketing studies to assess known serious risks of myocarditis and pericarditis.” However, a post-authorization study is useless if everyone has already been boosted 50 times by the time the study is complete.
The Public Health and Medical Professionals for Transparency (PHMPT) filed a formal request to the FDA for the expedited release of all data on the Pfizer vaccine under the Freedom of Information Act. Members of PHMPT include well-established professors in the relevant fields from Yale, Brown, University of Maryland, UCLA, and other universities. The FDA denied this request, arguing the absence of a “compelling need.”
In fact, the FDA requested that a federal judge grant it until the year 2076 to release Pfizer’s data on the COVID vaccine, before it was recently ordered to release it all in eight months.
Despite the lack of transparency, and the booster’s observed and potential adverse health effects, UChicago forces its students and employees to accept its cost-benefit analysis: that the booster is “preferable” to the risk of contracting COVID while unboosted. In so doing, our anti-science university unsafely denies us the right to evaluate the cost-benefit analysis for ourselves.
Don’t Be Fooled! It’s Not Just One More Jab
If being “boosted” becomes a prerequisite for participation in normal life, the vaccine’s diminishing efficacy means the booster campaign will never end.
Comprehensive evidence suggests that the level of vaccination does not have a positive influence on lowering COVID cases. On these very lines, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky contended in August that vaccines no longer prevent transmission, despite confident promisesshe and many of her fellow “experts” previously made to the contrary.
Moreover, the original vaccine regime has proven ineffective over time, with another Israeli study showing that effectiveness declined from 95% in January to a mere 39% in June.
When first introduced, the boosters were posited as a way to rebuild the vaccine’s effectiveness. Yet, the COVID booster contains the same formula as the original, ineffective vaccinations, which means it, too, loses efficacy.
To this point, Cornell, which currently has both a mask and vaccine requirement, and a 97% on-campus vaccination rate, recently experienced a surge of COVID cases. In response, the administration declared an “Alert Level Red” zone, moved exams online, and shut down the campus. Out of the 930 confirmed cases, “Virtually every case of the Omicron variant to date has been found in fully vaccinated students, a portion of whom had also received a booster shot,” Vice President for University Relations Joel Malina stated.
If UChicago is planning to mandate recurring boosters (which is the only logical conclusion of its present decrees), then it should just own up and admit it immediately, rather than continue to deceive students with the false impression that these measures are temporary.
We Will Not Play Pretend—COVID Is Not the Plague
Mandates for the COVID vaccine and booster are unnecessary to protect the health of the UChicago community.
COVID has a survival rate of over 99.87% for individuals under the age of 65.
According to the CDC, only 5% of “COVID deaths” are solely attributable to COVID as the cause. The other 95% of “COVID deaths” involve, on average, almost 4 additional conditions (comorbidities) or causes per death.
We will not play pretend by accepting our university’s gross exaggerations of the public health risks of catching and transmitting COVID. We will not live in fear.
UChicago Ignores Natural ImmunityIf slowing the spread of this glorified flu were the goal, UChicago would recognize natural immunity as a robust protection against reinfection—but it doesn’t.
As it stands, UChicago’s vaccine requirement cannot be satisfied with proof of T-cell immunity or a positive antibody or antigen test. This is unreasonable, as those who have been vaccinated not only have increased risk for infection, but an increased risk for symptomatic infection, in comparison to those possessing natural immunity.
This is made clear by a recent Israeli study, which “demonstrated that natural immunity confers longer lasting and stronger protection against infection, symptomatic disease and hospitalization caused by the Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2, compared to the BNT162b2 two-dose vaccine-induced immunity.”
UChicago’s continued refusal to acknowledge natural immunity leads to only one conclusion: our university does not care about science, but only uses “science” as a guise for mandating recurring injections.
No, You Didn’t Misread: Doctors and Scientists Are Exempt (Read the Fine Print)
The Chicago Thinker recently confirmed that the university exempts University of Chicago Medical Center (UCMC) employees from the booster mandate, precisely because a significant number of doctors will resign if forced to get the jab. The university admitted to the Thinkerthat its UCMC exemption is an attempt to maintain medical staff, since presumably a significant number of UCMC’s 9,000-plus employees will resign if beholden to a booster mandate.
UChicago also exempts clinically active faculty and staff within its Biological Sciences Division (BSD) from its booster mandate, presumably for the same reason.
The lessons here are manifold.
First, UChicago is much less immune to protest than it pretends. If we speak out loudly now, we might just accomplish something.
Second, “the science” isn’t what the university claims and it’s actually bad business to pretend otherwise.
Consider that the UCMC’s total staff is larger than the total undergraduate population at UChicago. If our university truly believes the COVID booster is necessary to save lives, why are UCMC staff—who are arguably most at risk for catching and spreading the coronavirus—exempt from the booster mandate? The answer is clear: even the university itself doesn’t believe “the risks” posed by un-boostered employees outweigh the costs of losing crucial personnel.
Rather than allow all UChicago community members to engage in a cost-benefit analysis of our own, the university deceptively exploits tuition payers, in addition to countless employees, by forcing us to get the booster. Meanwhile, UChicago’s world-renowned medical health professionals and scientists get to live quietly by a different set of rules.
Moreover, the UCMC and BSD include some of the country’s top doctors and scientists, including experts in immunology. Take that in: Those who know the most about the booster are refusing to get it. What do these experts know about the booster that we don’t? And if they’re refusing to inject themselves with the booster, how is it remotely ethical to force us to inject ourselves? It’s not.
UChicago’s COVID caste system prioritizes the health and freedoms of a chosen few, while trampling on the rest. University instructors and tenured faculty members, University of Chicago police officers, dining hall workers, and twenty-something-year-old college students are all being coerced into getting the booster, but not doctors and select, “special” scientists.
Obviously, we need instructors in order to learn. Three UChicago community members were shot to death in Chicago in 2021 alone, so, clearly, we also need police officers to defend our community. Yet, by imposing such a discriminatory mandate, our university wrongly suggests some lives are more valuable than others. Or, at the very least, it shows it cares more about maintaining doctors and select scientists than professors and police officers, among others.
To be clear, we’re not calling for the UCMC and BSD to implement a booster requirement, but we do condemn UChicago for unethically discriminating against its employees and students. We’d expect such behavior from a Soviet committee, not a prestigious university purportedly dedicated to the production of knowledge in a free country.
This Isn’t Just Bad Science—It’s Also Wildly Unethical
UChicago directly violates established medical ethics by coercing its community members into experimental vaccination.
Free and informed consent is a precondition for all medical treatments and procedures, including vaccination. For consent to be truly informed, the potential recipient must be proactively informed of all the observable and potential risks, side-effects, and dangers. And for consent to be truly free, the potential recipient must be made aware of all options, including the option to freely decline. Most importantly, this decision must be free of coercion, pressure, or threat of punishment.
For the first time in history, universities like our own are requiring experimental vaccination as a condition of attendance and employment.
The university’s threat of expulsion constitutes unjustifiable pressure, especially considering the vaccine’s experimental nature; this absolutely qualifies as an element of “duress,” “overreaching,” and “coercion.”
To make matters worse, we find ourselves in a position where those who wish to infringe upon our bodily autonomy have relieved themselves of the responsibility of even having to prove their scientific assertions. Instead, they’ve shifted the burden of proof onto us; we must conclusively demonstrate why their hypochondriacal impositions do not make sense, which is a total inversion of the normal process of scientific inquiry.
Rather than allow us to engage in the intimately personal and inherently subjective process of making our own risk-assessments concerning these novel injections, UChicago refuses to allow us to freely consent or decline. Instead, it treats us like lab rats.
The yes-men will try to interject that we can all apply for exemptions and disenroll from UChicago if denied, but this counterargument is as immoral as it is lousy.
First, universities across the country, including UChicago, have consistently announced their new COVID policies on a whim—not even leaving students the time or ability to create contingency plans. Second, choosing a college isn’t a game of plug-and-play. It’s a process that entails a significant investment of hard work, time, financial resources, and effort to find the right match.
To tell a student who has invested two or three years of hard work and over $100,000 in tuition to attend UChicago that he must suddenly find a way to transfer to a school in a different state—a school that might not even be able to properly accommodate his specific academic interests and career track—in the middle of his winter quarter is ludicrous.
UChicago’s Booster Mandate Doesn’t End the Hysteria—It Enshrines It
For the past two academic years, we’ve endured mandatory weekly invasive COVID testing; a laundry list of restrictions on movement and socialization enforced by a suffocating surveillance-and-reporting apparatus; needless quarantines in dorm rooms, even after testing negative; lackluster online classes; barred access to countless campus amenities and resources, including libraries and gyms; and, now, vaccine and booster requirements with limited exemptions, all while footing the same $60,000+ in annual tuition.
We went along with these initial edicts for convenience’s sake, perhaps contending that compliance in the short term would mean a long-term return to normalcy.
We rationalized that after bearing one year of Zoom classes to “slow the spread,” we’d finally be able to enjoy the state-of-the-art research facilities, nerdy camaraderie, and beautiful campus we were attracted to when we first applied to UChicago.
If we got the vaccine, we thought we’d finally be able to take off our masks and breathe, sit in a classroom with our friends, hang out in our dorms, and go to parties.
Those who thought we’d be free to enjoy the normal college experience we so desperately wanted if we just got the first two vaccine doses were completely wrong.
This isn’t over. It’s only just begun.
We’ve become lab rats in a perpetual war against a glorified flu—and there’s no end in sight. UChicago continues to defy scientific and moral standards, dehumanizing us in the process.
Clearly, this is not about saving lives. It’s about control. We will not be controlled.
Our demands are as follows:
1. We demand that the University of Chicago withdraw its unsafe, ineffective, unnecessary, inconsistent, and unethical vaccine and booster mandates.
2. We demand that the university name those responsible for creating and implementing its COVID decrees, especially with regards to vaccination. We also demand it name those responsible for reviewing and approving both medical and religious exemptions to vaccine and booster mandates.
3. We demand that the university make a public statement to all community members explaining why UCMC staff and BSD personnel are not required to receive boosters, but students and other university employees are.
4. Lastly, we call on all members of our university community to fight back. This mandate is wrong. Do not allow University President Paul Alivisatos’s administration to pretend otherwise.

Brilliant letter. A bit long, but every bit of it is gold!
“A bit long”
Yes. Very. Then again, the completeness of it is one of it’s most striking aspects, imho. As you say, every bit of it is gold, so I didn’t edit any of it out.
Perfect. Takes a serious commitment to refute with data. Wonder if the editorial board of the Cornell Daily Sun is ready to defend their administration’s booster mandate?
U. Chicago is huge. These guys have history in this on both sides that goes way back.
I guess we may see. I passed this along to a couple local interested persons.
Not so long ago there was a post made here at Qtree that quoted the blog “Political Moonshine” in which the author of said blog claimed that President Donald Trump “had abandoned America” and “was defeated and impotent.”
Nothing could be further from the truth.
If PDJT has abandoned America and is defeated and impotent, his supporters surely don’t think so.
Interesting to note, too, that just 12 months after the Nov. 2020 election, the entire DNC establishment came out to support Clinton ally Terry McAuliffe in the race for the “blue state” VA gov’s mansion….including Barrack Obama…..while PDJT endorsed Glenn Youngkin.
Just 12 months after Trump lost, Youngkin won in a blue state with PDJT’s endorsement.
Yeah. “Impotent”, was what “Political Moonshine” said.
I think you’re actually focused on the least important part of what Political Moonshine was talking about. His hand-wringing and nail-biting about Trump “not doing anything” were clearly coming out of nervous Nellie fragility, but the rest of his analysis was excellent.
I don’t necessarily agree with all of it, but he’s got dozens and dozens of excellent points about China there – and they’re all extraordinarily admirable to this grizzled veteran of ChiCom mendacity.
In fact, now that I read that article more closely, plus another one, I’m going to recommend it, in spite of the eye-roll “woe is us” moaning about Trump. People can wisely profit from debunking PM’s errors, while picking up his smarter stuff.
Moonshine’s threat analysis of Chinese strategy is far more important than whether he’s always “rah-rah” on Trump or not. And even there, I don’t think his momentary loss of confidence in Trump around mid-December 2021 is anything that MANY more “fragile” players weren’t thinking in the backs of their minds.
The QUALITY of his thoughts on Chinese strategy is apparent in both the article in question…..
…..AND another one…..
…..the latter ending in THIS LINE:
“Paging President Trump. We desperately need your return and sooner than later.”
And while I get thousands (literally) of emails from RINOs asking me if I’ve “abandoned” Trump because I don’t send THEM my precious Trump money, I have to say – THEY are the rightful target of any anger, because they DID abandon Trump. And THEY aren’t doing it for any of the PROPER worries, like Political Moonshine did.
I think the question of Trump “playing possum” on abandoning us is actually an excellent one. The January 6 plot and the aftermath – a TRAP for him and us – was a nasty needle to thread. Every second since then on Trump’s part has been carefully calibrated to leave the question open, as events unfold. In my opinion, very, very, very intentionally. A very cunning strategy, actually. Trump’s PATIENCE is enough to drive even patient enemies mad.
Frankly, I wish I had had time to read this all earlier, but I was still recovering from Delta at the time, and I didn’t realize what a high-quality post Scott was dragging over here – despite the fact that “abandoning” and “impotent” are the least powerful negative statements that PM made regarding Trump. Some of the other stuff – HOO, BOY. Gotta learn to read past that kind of thing.
Moonshine was clearly WRONG about some things, but seems very right about others. Failure to correctly attribute a significant proportion of the predicament we are in to CHINA, and to attribute it PROPERLY, will destroy this nation.
Understanding that the ChiComs are at FEVERED WAR with us, and have been for decades, while pretending not to be, is ESSENTIAL.
Anyway, I’m now going to say “good on Scott” for bringing that PM article here. Simply pull the burning hot peppers of silly Trump jitters out of the dish, and it’s a meal.
“I think you’re actually focused on the least important part of what Political Moonshine was talking about.”
He’s just taking a swipe at me, because I posted most of the Political Moonshine articles here… 😂🤣😂
Actually, no, I was taking a swipe at the pablum itself.
As shown below.
Correct. Referencing something at PM does not require saying that it was posted here.
Fair enough. But that is what I am posting about, not PM’s comments on China. The bedwetting there was wayyy over the top, imho. I think my post nicely demonstrates that.
Wolfie, Both Political Moonshine and Karl (Market Ticker) bash Trump on occassion.
So what? They are human.
It does not mean they do not bring some very good information out to be examined.
None of us are perfect and that certainly includes President Trump….
I remain very very upbeat and optimistic.
GO back to 2015/2016
If Trump had not run we would have been saddled with low energy JEB! as the
RNCCorporatist pick and Hitlary in the White House.
I probably would have supported Rand Paul as the best of a very bad lot. (Ben Carson was very anti-2nd Amendment)
From my notes so we DO NOT FORGET where Rand Paul actually sits. This info by the way is what got me tossed off Brietbart, American Stinker, Disqus and Google.
The Iowa circus act knocked Rand Paul out of the running but let’s take a quick look at him anyway. Rand was actually my first choice until I looked at him with the above priority in mind.
As I said before I think Rand Paul’s stand on the Trans Pacific Partnership suicidal for the USA and his view of China truly bizarre. Or is he on board the globalist train?
The New American: Rand Paul to Obama: “Prioritize” Passage of Trans-Pacific Partnership
Los Angles Times: Rand Paul drops the mic on Donald Trump over China’s participation in trade deal
Rand Paul, IF he had actually read that damn treaty should have know it is very easy to ADD another country and the ‘No China” gambit was the exact same chess move Clinton played to get the World Trade Organization treaty ratified. Then Clinton worked his rump off to get China added a few years later.
Is Rand really that dumb? Or is he FOR CHINA
So yeah, it looks like Rand is FOR CHINA.
This is paragraph is straight out of the Progressive play book on Interdependence one of Al Gore’s favorite issues.
SEE: Dale C. Copeland, “Economic Interdependence and War: A Theory of Trade Expectations,” International Security, Vol. 20, no.4 (Spring 1996) for exactly how dangerous Interdependence is.
And I have certainly shown here (@ Tony Heller’s) how dangerous China is to the USA. LINK and LINK and China military buildup not to mention Clinton’s sell out of US military technologies.
And that doesn’t even get into the economic damage done to the USA by our current one sided ‘free trade’ agreements.
2012 – Economic Policy Institute The China toll: Growing U.S. trade deficit with China cost more than 2.7 million jobs between 2001 and 2011, with job losses in every state
More on USA losing out economically to China:
So why the heck was Rand promoting the idea of ‘Free trade’ in general and the USA/China trade in particular is a great for the USA? (AND five years later does he STILL PROMOTE IT?)

So what? They are human.
It does not mean they do not bring some very good information out to be examined.
None of us are perfect and that certainly includes President Trump….
Repeated with emphasis. No truer words need be spoken on a message board blog. Spot on, Gail.
Read and then remember or cast aside. Simple.
The worst part economically relating to China is that they were constructed as a paper dragon by globalists who wanted access to their cheap, basically slave labor work force. They have never, I repeat, never, reported their national and corporate financial information accurately. Never. Never will as long as the Chi-coms are running things there and the NWO globalists have control of financial markets around the world.
If you want free trade with China, you are in bed with animals who will eat you. So any politician who supports it with them as is or involved in a globalist trade pact is owned.
Thanks for nothing Tricky Dicky and Kiss the Blob.
Am hoping that after Trump’s influence and CCP Bioweapon that Rand and others have evolved.
OMG. Ticker gets worse by the day. That, and tripping over the vulgarity, are outweighing the positives for me. I have no problem with questioning or criticizing Trump – but MT is over the top.
M-T has a serious alcohol problem, … and he’s angry that he can’t/won’t do anything about it.
The reality that he gets things right doesn’t mean squat. I got lots of things right while I was drinking but that didn’t mean I was living right.
I have a button (a meme before the internet) that applies to him –
“Instant asshole; just add alcohol”
It’s the gross sexual vulgarity addiction that I can’t stand. No one cares about the f-word. It’s the lewd descriptive language that’s so unnecessary and off-putting. It truly detracts from the site.
It also prevents from being able to forward his articles to many people, with otherwise may have good content.
You have just hit on one of the things that drives me CRAZIER than anything. If someone, anyone, dares to criticize Trump, suddenly they are the devil.
Gimme a break. Trump was a great President, and I would vote for him again in a heartbeat. But he is just a MAN, with all that implies, by which I mean IMPERFECTION.
Are we to never notice or, God forbid, COMMENT, when the man does something we don’t agree with? Am I to swear allegiance to an unassailable IDOL?
Well, I won’t. Trump has done some stuff that I can’t endorse when it comes to Covid. Period. He’s not a doctor, and I know that. I also know he is trying to “thread the needle” with the vaxx. But he could have done that by just shutting up until the truth of the horrible effects of it were known, and people were aware. He COULD HAVE done that. Praising the vaxx while we know people who are getting it are dying is just nuts. And that is my opinion. Does that mean that every other thing I contribute is to be ignored?
This “purist” attitude about Trump pisses me off no end. I won’t worship the man; if I think he’s wrong, I’m gonna say it.
This “purist” attitude about Trump pisses me off no end. I won’t worship the man; if I think he’s wrong, I’m gonna say it.
I’d vote for Trump in a second. DeSantis as a second choice.
Trump did GREAT things no other President could do. But Trump isn’t perfect.
Covid has been a daily cluster fuck, including the initial two week shut down. Defending injections IS, INSULTING to thinking Americans.
Not going to get into a back and forth with anyone rationalizing what Trump did regarding Covid, Covid injections… Likely it’s been posted numerous times. I’ve read it and understand the positions. I simply disagree. I’ve moved on.
Off to a second cup of coffee. AND hoping for a Trump rally within a days drive. 🙂
A rally to go to would be cool.
“Not so long ago there was a post made here at Qtree that quoted the blog “Political Moonshine” in which the author of said blog claimed that President Donald Trump “had abandoned America” and “was defeated and impotent.””
As so often is the case, that’s not what PM actually said, even though you put it in quotes, misrepresenting it as if he had said it.
You do it regularly, you even did it to me this past evening. Quoting someone doesn’t mean taking your own words, or paraphrasing someone else’s words, and just putting quotation marks around them.
Quoting someone means repeating what they actually said.
What PM actually said was
“Unequivocally, Proxy Joe kept his promise while a defeated and impotent Donald J. Trump, who seemingly abandoned America on inauguration day after earlier rallying Americans to the nation’s Capitol on 06 Jan 21, bailed on us writ large.”
‘Seemingly’ is a qualifier, indicating the appearance of something.
As can be seen, I quoted it quite accurately.
Sorry you don’t like that I left the “seemingly” out of it….which is weak sauce in light of the full sentence, imho.
I made an error in placing the “ before the word “had” rather than after it. “had abandoned America” should have been…..had “abandoned America”…
At any rate, what PM wrote here was grossly stupid, as I demonstrated in the OP.
PM is exacting. If he were certain, he would not have included the qualifier.
“As can be seen, I quoted it quite accurately.”
“Sorry you don’t like that I left the “seemingly” out of it….which is weak sauce in light of the full sentence, imho.”
Ah, I see the problem now, you don’t understand what the word ‘quote’ means, and I wasn’t anticipating that. We don’t get to pick and choose which words to leave in or leave out when we quote someone.
It truly is not a matter of personal preference, i.e., whether I liked it or not. I understand that you think ‘seemingly’ is “weak sauce”, and you are welcome to that opinion and to express it, but you cannot simply edit it out of the original author’s words, and then present your edited version as a ‘quote’ of the original author.
For the very good reason that what you now attribute to that author is no longer what the original author actually said.
For example, it is not a quote of Shakespeare if you write “To be, that is the question:”, because, in your honest opinion, you may think the “or not to be” part of the original quote is weak sauce in light of the full sentence.
It is not a quote if you leave out words the original author actually said.
That’s okay though, there are plenty of words I don’t understand too, nothing wrong with that, and nothing we can’t lean from and correct:
Essential Meaning of quote
1 : to repeat (something written or said by another person) exactly
2 : to write or say the exact words of (someone) He began his speech by quoting Shakespeare.
So for future reference, if you show that you are ‘quoting’ someone, but what you actually do is paraphrase (use your own words to characterize what someone else said) or edit (add to or remove the original writer’s words), that is no longer ‘quoting’ the individual.
If you put quotation marks around something, and it does not contain the exact words and punctuation the author said (best accomplished by copying and pasting), then it is not a quote, it is a misattribution, at best, or an intentional misrepresentation at worst, with possible intention to deceive or libel or worse.
If you would like to emphasize something within the quote, you could underline or italicize or boldface something within the quote, but then add ‘boldface mine’ or ‘italics mine’ for example, afterwards, to indicate a particular word of phrase within the quote you wished to emphasize, without attributing it to the original author, if the original author did not emphasize those words. As I meant to do when I underlined ‘seemingly’ and boldfaced the surrounding words in my original post.
But this thing about putting other people’s words in quotations, after you edit them, so it is not what they actually said, is a corruption or perversion of the core concept of quotation.
It is a corruption of the meaning of the word ‘quote’.
It introduces confusion to the discussion, begins arguments over things the original author never said (especially if no one catches the original misquote), and generally leads to chaos.
This is why quoting is so important. If we quote accurately, clarity is preserved, and it is nearly impossible for someone to create a Straw Man argument if we accurately quote someone before we reply, when what the other person said is literally right in front of us.
And if we represent something as a quote, when it is not a quote at all, but either our edited version of the original author’s words or a paraphrase of our own making, and then placed within quotation marks, it’s like cheating at cards, it corrupts the integrity of the entire process.
So now that we have a better understanding of this issue, hopefully it won’t be an issue anymore going forward. 👍
You are my HS English teacher — still alive. 😂
English classes were often very frustrating for me.
They were always trying to impose structural limits or constraints, which interfered with what I was trying to say or express.
Or they were trying to force me to say what I wanted to say their way, instead of saying it my way — but if I expressed myself their way, then I no longer sounded like me, I sounded like them — and I wasn’t them, I was (and remain) me. 😁
Very agreed that inexact quotes need to be heavily qualified IF ever made at all. Even words like ‘roughly said “x” ‘ or the dubious “paraphrasing” (I remind myself that Adam Schiff does this trick routinely) should not be used when the possibly missing context would substantially change the meaning, or possibly misrepresent the original intent – particularly against the author. I’ve had to sacrifice a good number of roughly remembered but otherwise situationally perfect quotes for this very reason!
This becomes a real chore as the MSM and woke tech “memory hole” inconvenient statements they wish to hide.
That should read….

Biden Admin Quietly Creates Creepy Database About Unvaxxed People Who Request Religious Exemptions
Meanwhile, people are wondering why the Biden regime is installing a concrete (K-Rail) blast and security containment wall directly around the White House.
I’m reminded of the story of a Scot, an Englishman, and an Irishman who discover a magic lantern. Rubbing it, out pops a genie who offers three wishes to whoever rubbed the lamp. After some discussion, it is agreed that each would get one of the three wishes.
The Scotsman goes first — “I want a beautiful twenty — no, thirty — foot wall between Scotland and England.” The genie snaps its fingers and says, “it is done.”
The Englishman, somewhat miffed, wishes for a FIFTY-foot wall around England. The genie snaps its fingers and says, “it is done.”
The Irishman says, “please excuse me, for I am a bit slow-witted. This wall around England — does it go completely around?” The genie replies, “yes.”
The Irishman continues, “and it is solid — nothing can pass in or out through this wall?” The genie replies, “yes.”
The Irishman asks, “and it is fifty feet high?” “Yes, yes, yes!” replies the genie — “hurry up and make your wish. I haven’t time for all these questions!”
“Well, sir, I merely wish for it to be filled with water.”
Erin Go Bragh!
Does God Exist?
‘Let me explain the problem science has with religion.’
The atheist professor of philosophy pauses before his class and then asks one of his new students to stand.
‘You’re a Christian, aren’t you, son?’
‘Yes, sir,’ the student says.
‘So you believe in God?’
‘Is God good?’
‘Sure! God’s good.’
‘Is God all-powerful? Can God do anything?’
‘Are you good or evil?’
‘The Bible says I’m evil.’
The professor grins knowingly. ‘Aha! The Bible! He considers for a moment. ‘Here’s one for you. Let’s say there’s a sick person over here and you can cure him. You can do it. Would you help him? Would you try?’
‘Yes, sir, I would.’
‘So you’re good…!’
‘I wouldn’t say that.’
‘But why not say that? You’d help a sick and maimed person if you could. Most of us would if we could. But God doesn’t.’
The student does not answer, so the professor continues. ‘He doesn’t, does he? My brother was a Christian who died of cancer, even though he prayed to Jesus to heal him. How is this Jesus good? Can you answer that one?’
The student remains silent. ‘No, you can’t, can you?’ the professor says. He takes a sip of water from a glass on his desk to give the student time to relax ‘Let’s start again, young fella.
Is God good?’
‘Er..yes,’ the student says.
‘Is Satan good?’
The student doesn’t hesitate on this one. ‘No.’
‘Then where does Satan come from?’
The student falters. ‘From God.’
‘That’s right. God made Satan, didn’t he? Tell me, son. Is there evil in this world?’
‘Evil’s everywhere, isn’t it? And God did make everything, correct?’
‘So who created evil?’ The professor continued, ‘If God created everything, then God created evil, since evil exists, and according to the principle that our works define who we are, then God is evil.’
Again, the student has no answer. ‘Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things…do they exist in this world?’
The student squirms on his feet. ‘Yes.’
‘So who ecreated them?’
The student does not answer again, so the professor repeats his question. ‘Who created them?’ There is still no answer.
Suddenly the lecturer breaks away to pace in front of the classroom. The class is mesmerized.
‘Tell me,’ the professor says as he turns to another student, ‘Do you believe in Jesus Christ, son?’
The student said, ‘Yes, professor, I do.’
The old man stops pacing. ‘Science says you have five senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Have you ever seen Jesus?’
‘No, sir. I’ve never seen Him.’
‘Then tell us if you’ve ever heard your Jesus?’
‘No, sir, I have not.’
‘Have you ever felt your Jesus, tasted your Jesus or smelled your Jesus? Have you ever had any sensory perception of Jesus Christ, or God for that matter?’
‘No, sir, I’m afraid I haven’t.’
‘Yet you still believe in him?’
‘According to the rules of empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your God doesn’t exist. What do you say to that, son?’
‘Nothing,’ the student replies. ‘I only have my faith.’
‘Yes, faith,’ the professor repeats. ‘And that is the problem science has with God. There is no evidence, only faith.’
The student stands quietly for a moment, then asks question of his own.
‘Professor, is there such thing as heat?’
‘And is there such a thing as cold?’
‘Yes, son, there’s cold, too.’
‘No, sir, there isn’t.’
The professor turns to face the student, irritated at being challenged. The room suddenly becomes very quiet. The student continues.
‘You can have lots of heat, even more heat, super-heat, mega-heat, unlimited heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat, but we don’t have anything called ‘cold’. We can hit down to 458 degrees below zero, which is no heat, but we can’t go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold; otherwise we would be able to go colder than the lowest -458 degrees. Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-458 F) is the total absence of heat. You see, sir, cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat we can measure in thermal units because heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.’
Silence across the room. A pen drops somewhere in the classroom, sounding like a hammer.
‘What about darkness, professor. Is there such a thing as darkness?’
‘Yes,’ the professor replies without hesitation. ‘What is night if it isn’t darkness?’
‘You’re wrong again, sir. Darkness is not something; it is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light, but if you have no light constantly you have nothing and it’s called darkness, isn’t it? That’s the meaning we use to define the word. In reality, darkness isn’t. If it were, you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn’t you?’
The professor begins to smile at the student in front of him. This will be a good semester. ‘So what point are you making, young man?’
‘Yes, professor. My point is, your philosophical premise is flawed to start with, and so your conclusion must also be flawed.’
The professor’s face cannot hide his surprise this time. ‘Flawed? Can you explain how?’
‘You are working on the premise of duality,’ the student explains. ‘You argue that there is life and then there’s death; a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can’t even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood, either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life, just the absence of it. Now tell me, professor, do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?’
‘If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, young man, yes, of course I do.’
‘Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?’
The professor begins to shake his head, still smiling, as he realizes where the argument is going. A very good semester, indeed.
‘Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you now not a scientist, but a preacher?’
The class is in uproar. The student remains silent until the commotion has subsided.
‘To continue the point you were making earlier to the other student, let me give you an example of what I mean.’ The student looks around the room. ‘Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the professor’s brain?’ The class breaks out into laughter. ‘Is there anyone here who has ever heard the professor’s brain, felt the professor’s brain, touched or smelled the professor’s brain? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, with all due respect, sir. So if science says you have no brain, how can we trust your lectures, sir?’
Now the room is silent. The professor just stares at the student, his face unreadable. Finally, after what seems an eternity, the old man answers. ‘I guess you’ll have to take them on faith.’
‘Now, you accept that there is faith, and, in fact, faith exists with life,’ the student continues. ‘Now, sir, is there such a thing as evil?’
Now uncertain, the professor responds, ‘Of course, there is. We see it every day. It is in the daily example of man’s inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil.’
To this the student replied, ‘Not so. Evil does not exist, sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man, or a fallen angel, does not have God’s love present in his heart. It’s like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light.’
The professor sat down.
That student later went on to write a book. It was titled “Religion vs. Science” published in 1921 by the student Albert Einstein.
(Note: While this story is attributed to AE, there is no formal record of it. Then again, to focus on who the student was or wasn’t would be to miss the point of the story itself. As for the book, yes, Einstein wrote and published it.)
Sounds like a story-form argument to me, but still very interesting and enjoyable. Two more modern equivalents are “YouTube anonymous dramatized wonderful stories” and even “reality television”. Both are contrived – not true incidental reality – but interesting.
It ends with an outright lie. (I skipped to the end.)
Einstein never wrote such a book.
While even Mother Jones admits Einstein was not a true atheist (https://www.motherjones.com/politics/1997/11/when-science-and-religion-collide-or-why-einstein-wasnt-atheist/), his universalist Judaism frequently bordered on it. That position is well described here.
Started reading the mother jones article.
They lost me when they quoted Ayala, who seems to think a scientist would call Shakespeare an idiot. OK, they MIGHT if they thought Billy was trying to write a science text, but I’m pretty sure that all but the worst autist among them would not imagine that to be Shakespeare’s intent.
I suspect the writer of the article would be sympathetic to the notion of “Non Overlapping Magisteria” where science works some things, while religion and philosophy work others.
I’ve always seen Einstein’s religiosity described as a sort of pantheism, which is similar to Spinoza’s God…reality = God and god is not a personal one who answers prayers, etc. I’ve no idea if that’s where the MJ article goes or not.
I think he said the scientist “could” say that – not “would” say it. And thus that the scientist would be wrong if he did.
I just read it to the end – I kind of like that article!

Verse of the Day for Sunday, January 16, 2022
“Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.”
1 Chronicles 16:11 (KJV)
BE MY VOICE
BABY LIVES MATTER
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow, that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ.

If I were he I would hire a brinks truck or equivalent and show up at the bank and DEMAND THE MONEY IN CASH! I would also ask all the MAGA folks who bank there to ALSO DEMAND their money in cash too.
Remember only 3 % is actually REAL MONEY the rest is bits in a computer. Depending on how much he actually has in that bank he would LITERALLY BREAK THE BANK!

That’s probably why they gave FrankSpeech one week and the other accounts 30 days. They need time to haul in cash for all his other accounts. If he went up there and demanded all be ‘cashed out’ in 1 week, they couldn’t handle it.

Rhetorically. Wouldn’t getting rid of the Fed be a good thing.
Yea, I am uninformed regarding the “bigger picture”. BUT, the Fed seems to be a huge part of the problem. Up to and including part of the Global Reset.
It is and has been. The functions of the Fed that matter can be returned to the Treasury. PDT knows all this and it has been speculated it could happen in the coming years.
Simply conduct a full forensic audit of the Fed. Never been done in its history. It will reveal the evil of the past 100+ years if done by competent patriots. Printing loads of money with no backing over that time frame tends to go for nefarious purposes, don’t you think?
Establish the standard on which to base the currency, whether it be back to gold, silver, a market basket of commodities, or whatever.
Congressional vote held to turn over the function and basically bankrupt the Federal Reserve System. Most do not realize each Fed bank is privately owned. So, some big name globalist corporations and some of the Illuminati will go bankrupt as well. The whole Fed system is so upside down bankrupt it’s not funny.
No more fiat currency. But this is where the fight continues. The NWO wants digital currency. None of this in hand stuff. We need to win that battle. It will be epic and a defining moment in world history. The mark of the beast ultimately gets implemented at that point if we lose. Bitcoin and the like are precursors to it. Digital currency that has no basis and can disappear in a keystroke. The supporters push it as an alternative to beat The Man now. But it is conditioning for future events. Again, the frog in boiling water story applies.
They are losing the mark of the beast battle with Big Pharm leading the charge. We figured it out and said, “Aw, hail no!” It has been a weapon to judge our responses. They have been probing. It’s what Satan and his demons do.
Once dissolution of the Fed is done, the result can be no more endless wars, no personal income tax, no more inflation/deflation/industry bubbles, stable interest rates, stable stock/bond valuations and multiples, etc. You earn what you earn and save what you save. But ultimately we have to win the digital versus hard currency fight for it to happen as it could. They will sell the safety angle with being able to fight criminals stealing your money propaganda. Don’t buy it. They want to eliminate your ability to trade locally without their control. They want you to have less access to first and second amendment protections. Etc., etc.
The bank would run out of cash. They’d close for a couple of hours (or handle only non-cash transactions); the Federal Reserve would simply send more cash. That’s one of their roles, to be a cash repository for the banks.
Seems that would make headlines. A triggering event? Contagious…large cash withdrawals at other banks?
And so what?
The money is fiat; they can print all they want, and already have; it’s sitting unissued in vaults. It’s not like the olden days when money had to be real, and therefore *couldn’t* be djinned up when there was a run on the banks.
To make it clear, that’s what the word “Reserve” means in the name. They can lend member banks as much cash as they need to get through a run. In fact, they are obligated to do so; it’s one of the things that banks that are members of the system are entitled to.
Maybe they are rinos?
“Depending on how much he actually has in that bank he would LITERALLY BREAK THE BANK!”
I expect they would just say they never maintain that much cash on the premises for security reasons, but if you would like to withdraw a large amount, anything over ‘x’ amount of dollars, they require 48 or 72 hours notice, or something similar, which is probably in the fine print somewhere in their official documents and account agreements.
This is why EVERYONE MUST VOTE IN THE MIDTERM ELECTION. The election laws are not going to get fixed until the socialists are tossed from office.

There were too many for a comment.
Ok, I have just gotta ask; why is this almost always a thing:
8. Established a commission to combat antisemitism;
– Executive Order 8
I mean, I love the Jews, I really do. But why are they always such a top priority? Are they really a top target? Aren’t Asians getting pushed off subway platforms and attacked on the streets more often than Jews are? That’s sure how it seems to me.
It just looks like such undue influence in politics to me.
Because Jews more often are singled out for discrimination that can lead to something much worse. The history of Germany against the Jews has made it a more sensitive topic and rightfully so.
I am against all discrimination regardless of skin color or religion or nationality.
It is the person his/ her character that is important to me. I love people and seldom no like someone and mostly when I do by what they do.
The group most discriminated against in America, by far, is also the largest (which is why they are the most discriminated against, because there are more of them), and it is because they are the only group who is NOT a ‘protected class’, thereby making white people “less than” all others, by definition.
White women are slightly less discriminated against, because they can play the ‘woman card’, that is a protected class.
White men have no ‘man card’ to play, so men can be ignored, denigrated, ridiculed, discriminated against, etc., at will, without recourse, either socially or legally.
It amounts to every other person in America having more de facto ‘rights’ (civil rights, not God-given rights) than white men, because every other person has laws enacted to protect them, except white men.
And white women are only a half-step better.
Anyone with two ‘victim cards’ to play wins over anyone with just one, so a black woman can play the ‘woman card’ and the ‘black card’, which trumps a white woman’s only card, her ‘woman card’.
All of this protected class status garbage is 100% corrosive of even the most basic concepts of equality, it literally creates a class-based system, or a caste-system, the express opposite of the (supposed) original intent.
Maybe the better question is to ask why the discrimination exists. That particular ethnic, religious group has been kicked out of every European nation in the last thousand years.
There’s a pattern that repeats itself over and over. It’s not something you are going to see in a history book, but none the less, it’s there. Here, it’s muted to an extent, but it’s still happening. I live in an area riddled with them. There are those who are true menschim, and then there are those who feed the stereotype. It’s no different than any other group out there.
I know the pattern. And I get it. But what I don’t get is why it is always “top-of-agenda.” Again, right now, Asians are getting hammered by blacks, but there is really no uproar about it. It’s just curious to me, is all.
That may be the answer.
“Riddled” with them?
Geez, why don’t you wear your antisemitism on your sleeves.
Agreed. Seems like a WTF. So I have a theory.
IMO this was “furin-cleavable” “code” to deal with Democrat-protected Muslim terrorization of Jews to keep both groups politically in line. Dems need both groups in line – Muslims for votes and boots on the ground, Jews for money, influence, and leverage. The Dems work a LYAHF game where white men are the fictitious boogeyman, allowed MuzzTerr is the real one, the DNC becomes the benefit-extracting negotiator, just like Russia-Ukraine or Keystone-econut (remember Obama’s law firm handled the Keystone lobbying). Repubs are locked out as the bad guys using the media – beautiful vicious circle attack.
Based on the other executive orders, which all attack Democrat games, this one is likely no different. Once the ‘Slim bedroom community terror is under control, Demmunist mind-control of DC Jews diminishes. VA RINOs buy in on the money that frees up. FTM.
I’m not taking this at PC face value – but it’s beautiful cover for a strong move against communism’s advance into VA-DC, the right’s traditional bedroom.
Very interesting. Thanks!
TL;DR – Dems talk about fighting antisemitism but actually create it, promote it, and hoax it if necessary. Republicans actually doing something about antisemitism scares the HELL out of Democrats.
Same thing with the Blacks and keeping them “down on the Plantation”…
Create a problem, fan the flames of discontent and horror, then swoop in and “solve” it.
(get folks all in a)Lather, Rinse, Repeat…
Works every time, why can’t people see the tactic???

Let’s You And Him Fight.
Seems the new VA Governor and AG did what we hired PDT to do nationally, which the later did not do adequately or we would not be where we are today.
Yeah, I know, PDT endorsed Youngkin and he won as a result. Yeah, I know it is easier on the state level versus the federal level. It starts with “You’re fired.” It always starts with that if the new guy/gal in charge want to succeed. The new broom sweeps cleaner than the old broom. Maybe PDT was fearful for his his family/friends/supporters’ lives. Who knows. It did not happen as it should have.
But many on here may not realize how VA is representative of America. Study the state, its history, its politics, its economy. This is a seismic change. Observe what you see happen over time in that state, both the victories for MAGA and the defeats. It will be a master blueprint for the rest of the country of what to do and not do.
FWIW, northern VA is owned by the critters in the swamp. It is a lair for fed snakes. I hope he builds a figurative wall around and helps them to eat each other.
As bold as Trump is, IF he chooses to run in 24 and wins (which he will), Trump WILL be far more aggresive dealing with the snakes.
Some of the comments on the AG’s tweet yesterday claimed he had fired the human trafficking people…which of course now appears to be the exact opposite of what happened. No surprise.
Also I read somewhere yesterday that the entire civil rights office was not actually fired, only two of them were.
Excellent piece over at American Thinker.
Mediocrity in power
Our tourism sectors employ many of the referenced liberal arts grads as servers and bartenders as they attempt to find a more definitive role in life. In the process they tend to alienate their fellow accomplished servers and bartenders who are very good at what they do and work hard to earn a good living. Their sense of entitlement and false pride in self turns fellow employees as well as the customers off.
Very good article.
I never understood when parents make sports more important than education? Sports that my kids played was secondary to their education. I have seen parents take kids to sport practices while the kid is missing writing a paper or doing homework. One coach told my youngest kid he has to choose between homework and sports my kid walked away.
Overemphasis on sports.
I am so happy my husband could care less and I am not subjected to Sunday sports. Does not mean we did not go to baseball games to see the Cardinals when our kids were at home. I was bored out of my mind and people watched 🙂
My kids played soccer and we attendet. My daughter was on a gymnastic team and we watched her. They did track and cross country but homework came first.
College Sports is a huge money cow…that is the biggest reason why it gets so much emphasis at colleges and universities.
Sports allow our cannon fodder males to use their abundant testosterone to fuel the bread & circuses sideshows needed to keep the people pacified…
Though coming from a sports family I recognize that there are decent things that can come from sports participation & enthusiasm 🙂
Yes, in limited doses.
When it becomes the be-all and end-all for a school, then there’s a problem.
How many schools out there seem to have nothing going for them except their football or basketball team?
My old school, shortly after I left, changed their rather staid, but academic-looking logo to, basically, a logo that would appear on a baseball cap. In fact it *was* the logo that *did* appear on their uniforms, caps, etc.
That sent a message loud and clear to me what was important to the Board of Regents. And it was a damned shame; the school was, and still is, in the forefront of a lot of scientific endeavors including (just for instance) the probe to Pluto.
Age old war between egg heads & meat heads 😉
Well, the conclusive argument is to ask what was the original purpose of universities. To play sports or to hone the mind?
Seems like many in America were founded to teach biblical morality & truth too!
Harvard, Yale, William and Mary, Wesleyan, the list goes on and on. Totally removed from their roots now, teaching the Satanic “green” religion…
Yes Cuppa, thanks for that list 🙂
I was thinking of the original purpose of univesities in general, going back to Medieval Europe.
But even taken your way (you likely are thinking of Hillsdale)…still, not sports!
I was thinking of Ivy’s that were founded that way…Cuppa detailed some of them elsewhere.
Sports is technically part of a well-rounded education, but not the most important part! By a long shot!!!
Most people’s “well rounded” education definition includes a small amount of sports, some history, some “language arts” (a big bucket there including everything from spelling and grammar through literature) but math and science are absent. How one is supposed to understand the world without that is beyond me. So we end up with people vulnerable to cleverly constructed flat earth lies.
Math & science are crucial to understanding so much in this life!
My high school required 3 years of “English,” and 3 years of history to graduate. Make that four of each if going on to college.
However, it required ONE year of math (which didn’t even have to be algebra) and ONE year of science (biology by default, but there were “easier” classes one could take too–including dumbed-down astronomy, which had once been the capstone course of their science program)
A fair number of people decide to take a couple of astronomy classes in college figuring it should be an easy way to get the science requirement out of the way. Then they discover it’s anything but–it’s literally a combination of all of the hard sciences (except, perhaps, biology).
That’s seriously derelict education! I don’t remember my HS requirements but I took science every year & pretty much every course offered, but dumbed down Earth Science. I think I took math every year too but started to really not get that once hitting Calculus in college, sad to say.
I did exceed the requirements.
For most people, biology was 10th grade; I had it in 9th. So worked my way through physics in 11th grade (my classes were always a mix of my year and the class one ahead of me).
Precocious! No surprise there 😉
I don’t recall what the alternative 9th grade science class was. Probably just a regurgitation of the generic class content from the 8th grade. Whatever it was, it would have counted as the one year of science needed to graduate. So basically you could graduate with almost nothing of a science education.
& much less working out of one’s logic muscle
Yes, it’s big money, but the highlighted sports are a way for some guys, anyway, to escape poverty. In football, they say there are two main groups: the rich and the poor. That’s where the players come from. Basketball is somewhat the same. The other two majors are pretty much middle class, and most university hockey squads are club sports.
And then, there’s all the rest.
My one son’s college had eliminated boy’s Varsity soccer, to accommodate Title IX Nazi’s so he only got to play on the club team, which was quite enriching & fun. He already had a full-ride academic scholarship, which enabled him to attend there at all. He’d been accepted into Hillsdale but tragically we couldn’t afford to send him. As he’s a major Conservative Christian Patriot that would have been a Dream college experience!!!
I could have gone to Caltech. Same story.
The road not travelled, said wistfully yet gratefully for the journey thus far…& yet to come!
A High School friend went to CalTech. In the dorms, his fellow students discovered that he could be fed french fries while he was asleep….
I know it is astounding
