I’m going to disagree on the “press”. Okay, I REALLY do not like the camera guys who wear jeans and sweatshirts and think it is their God given right to be a$$holes (this is a personal pet peeve after YEARS of arranging and attending publicity events), but they do need a clear shot of VSG when he walks over and talks. The boom guys…their knees can only take so much. With graduated seating/standing it’s not much different than I’ve seen at any number of events. The talking heads have to stand. Serves the egomaniacs right.

That turkey reminds me of the turkey that flew too low across the road. He ended up doing a belly flop on the hood of my truck and sliding up and over my windshield and roof. I was sure I had a dead turkey in the back of my truck but when I stopped he was no where to be seen. My neighbor across the street had the same thing happen to him. However we were lucky. It was only turkeys we had close encounters with.
The neighbor next door had a deer jump into her back seat thru the closed window. The deer came face to face with her and immediately jumped thru the opposite window to get out of the car. To this day she still hates to drive.

If we start seeing solar minimum effects, we need only go back to the “Little Ice Age” of 1650-1850 to see how bad it can get for substantial periods of time. For that level of calamity, our fossil fuels will be a blessing — but our nuclear technology will get us through.
OTOH, we are currently in the Holocene Epoch, which started about 12,000 years ago, at the end of the last Ice Age. The Pleistocene, that Ice Age, started about 2,580,000 years ago. It had glacial periods, when the ice advanced — and interglacials, when the ice receded (roughly 102 cycles in those 2.5M years). At its furthest extent, ice would have covered what is today Seattle, Chicago, and NYC.
So, we could have a hiccup — like California’s recent drought. We could have a horrific solar minimum, like the Little Ice Age, lasting 200 years…..or we might be really screwed and facing two and a half million years of existential challenge. All the wishful thinking of socialism, environmentalism, and the green nude eel, would do zippity-doo-dah against the latter onslaught — we would only be able to survive if we went nuclear and began to modify the climate ourselves.
Well…according to the climate hoaxers, we can “cause global warming”.
They may get the chance to prove their theory.

I suspect that the resilience of the carbon-based climate system is soundly designed / evolved across the multiverse, meaning that pushing carbon in pushes it out with an optimum at a maximal biosphere, with an overall gradient toward life / intelligence driving the whole. Make it too hot or cold, the complex system will adapt to bring it back to a kind of biological optimum. That may actually involve us changing the climate once we CAN, and that change will be in the optimal direction – NOT the anti-optimal direction that we are considering now – which I suspect is a goal being driven by “bad pencilneck” looking for a “failed state take-over”.
Just my opinion.
I do not have the actual Koppen climate zone map at hand, but since the 1970s the Plant Hardiness Zones in the midwest have moved north by about two hundred miles. Think what that means to the grain belts in Canada and Russia if wehave a solar minimum for an extended period and become colder than the 1970s.

I think those are likely doors to the outside – either balcony or patio / walkway. Open them up and turn off the AC at night or during nice weather.

Caribbean weather is interesting. During the off-season (summer) it can be oppressively hot and humid at a constant 80’s to low 90’s, and finding AC becomes a subconscious urge. When you ask suggested destinations, people will even tell you if there is AC, b/c it’s so important. Even at night, it never really gets cool enough to want open windows, but sometimes that’s all there is – some resorts have little or no AC – just fans.
I think that Epstein likely had good AC when he wanted it, but I think he was running a year-round operation for all sorts of guests, and they likely varied in how much AC they wanted. Many Europeans are not used to having much AC, and opening those doors would be one of the first things they did.

Back in the day, we did a bunch of SCUBA in the tropics. We learned quickly how to use the mosquito nets properly — after having a couple of Indiana Jones incidents. A seasoned traveller would know if the nets weren’t appropriate for their intended function.

(1) Very light on real news – very low budget on investigators, gumshoes, real researchers.

(3) A fair amount of overt advertorials that look subtly infomercial.
(4) A very high-priced set of “hidden advertorials” that look like real writing, not infomercials.
(5) A new paradigm of “gift subscriptions” that are underwritten by client companies who in turn offer them to their best customers. So instead of 2% or 3% cash back or free merch, they offer magazine subscription gifts. In some cases, they actually AUTO-SUBSCRIBE customers who don’t pick from the offerings – they just send one without asking.
(6) Aggressive door-to-door sales by pseudo-charities that promise to send the magazine seller to college.
I used to subscribe to the San Jose Mercury News 30 years ago. The Sunday edition was about four inches thick.
I haven’t subscribed for over a decade. The Sunday paper is about 1/2″ thick. And the paper, itself, is two inches shorter and narrower.

Paraphrasing he said of course…where’s Hunter
then he said Schiff, to see his WAY or show his WAY, then, ‘I shouldn’t have said that, a bit controversial’
Stood out as something strange to say and that he kind of pointed it out.
Is this another hint? Not sure what he means by a way?
I dunno, that man is creepy weird and if half of what we’ve heard is true, will be heading to prison before too long.

The clip played of the Dr Jandra video is the voice of Lt General Tom McInerney (ret) saying that Clapper and Brennan were doing DOMESTIC SPYING using the ‘Hammer’ AND it was physically housed at a US NAVAL BASE! (~20 minutes)
This is probably why Obama had to completely compromise the top brass of the Navy more than any other branch of the military.

USS Ford (CVN 78) MASSIVE cost over runs. Ford is a new class of carrier. Nimitz was the previous class that lead to Reagan, Lincoln, Eisenhour, Vinson… Ford, unlike any other carrier. Only two of eleven weapons elevators certified. Catapult system beset with problems. Arresting gear… Radar… Propulsion system issues…
– In one visit to a Navy ship…don’t recall the details, President Trump specifically called out the catapult system. New one of a kind – electro magnetic… Huge cost over runs. Unreliable. LITTLE tactical gain for a carrier. New system could launch aircraft at a quicker rate. Reality is, aircraft can only be physically positioned for launch at whatever rate – to be catapulted. War fighting system wise, minimal gain. Tactical gain, dubious, I believe. Steam system worked great for decades.
– $13 Billion thus far. In 2017 USS Ford designated “special” carrier…whatever the hell that is!!!
– USS Ford NOT scheduled for deployment until 2024. 2024! WTF?
– Follow on Ford class carriers currently being built…John F Kennedy, Enterprise.

An area I have not heard much outside of Navy circles…
LCS – Littoral Combat Ship. Bad joke by the Navy. IMO, Worthless for a Blue Water Navy…should be primary focus of US Navy. Single mission ships. Mission Packages – Modular war fighting systems. Pick and load ONE, ONLY ONE at a time. – Anti-submarine warfare (ASW), mine countermeasures (MCM), surface warfare (SUW), and special warfare missions. Bad guys only need to know which Mission Package is loaded on a LCS, then attack from another direction! ASW Mission Package Loaded, attack from the surface or air. NOT a tactician, but this smacks of maroon level stoopid. Mission Packages LARGE, multiple C-5/17 required to move Mission Packages to port when Mission Packages need to be swapped. Cannot operate effectively in heavy seas. Hence, Littoral designation. WTF? Short sea legs – distance on a tank of gas. Frequent refueling required. Logistics refueling ships at a premium – limited availability – dedicated almost exclusively to blue water operations. Refueling inport requires a permissive environment.
– Me thinks, someone who hates America, approved the LCS concept. OR, FAMILY and FRIENDS made a lot of $$$.
on the positive side. The Navy has incredibly awesome weapon systems (carriers, cruisers, destroyers, submarines, crew, aircraft, launchers, weapons, ordnance) that we read and hear about frequently. Execute their missions exceedingly well.
Me thinks, USS Ford and LCS are examples of failure at all levels of “Navy Leadership” design, procurement and in the case of LCS, devoid of strategic planning. Sad reality. 100%, IMO.

Oh, I agree that the old playbook no longer works. But it is still helpful to explain in layman’s terms how the propaganda tactics work for those still getting up to speed so they have a better understanding. In short, a part of the Great Awakening.
That’s why I also recommend people read Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals.
Another couple of items that are well worth reading (and horrifying, as most of them have been implemented behind our backs in the USA by the Commies and the DEMONicRATS (but I repeat myself) since the 1960s (or even 1950s or 1930s). It would be interesting to go through all of these to see if they’ve been implemented, by whom, and when. I rather expect we’d be REALLY surprised (and disappointed…).

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.
5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.
17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
18. Gain control of all student newspapers.
19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.
20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions.
21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”
23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”
24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.
25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.
26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”
27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “religious crutch.”
28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”
29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”
31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.
32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture–education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.
33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.
34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.
35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.
36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.
37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.
38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].
39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.
40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.
41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

Americans call it the Federal Reserve which is a privately-owned credit/debt system allowed by the Federal Reserve act of 1913. All local banks are members of the Fed system, and are regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) another privately-owned corporation. The Federal Reserve Banks issue Fiat Paper Money and practice economically destructive fractional reserve banking.
6. Centralization of the means of communications and transportation in the hands of the State.
Americans call it the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Department of Transportation (DOT) mandated through the ICC act of 1887, the Commissions Act of 1934, The Interstate Commerce Commission established in 1938, The Federal Aviation Administration, Federal Communications Commission, and Executive orders 11490, 10999, as well as State mandated driver’s licenses and Department of Transportation regulations.

Obama FREED traitor Bradley Manning, paid for him to have a sex change with OUR tax dollars, all while imprisoning people like Christian Saucier and Chief Gallagher over BULLSHIT.

There is zero justification for the rapid and numerous wanton immigration of muslims since 9/11. We should have seen near zero. That we have no go zones and the attacks by muslims in our country shows how wrong the policies have been. Revoke her citizenship status and that of her kids. Send her to prison then deport her.

When I was at HP, we had a fellow named “Peter Rabbit”… IIRC, there was another fellow WITH THE SAME NAME!!! What were their parents thinking? Ane then there’s the wealthy Hogg family of Texas, with Ima Hogg (though her supposed twin sister Ura Hogg lives on as an urban(e) legend)…
And the Yuppie designer names. I spent a miserable 30 minutes riding on BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) (trivia question/answer – it originally was called BARTD), where some yuppie was banging on about his name being “KEVEN” and how everyone always misspelled it… Oddly enough, he had MANY problems with his grammar and sentence structure… kind of wonder if the unorthodox spelling precipitated other problems for him…
I guess I AM an old fuddy duddy! I do recall hearing the name Blake Lively, but I couldn’t tell you anything about her! I know that sometimes parents will use a family last name as a middle name for a girl as well as a boy. But pairing them together, I think is unfortunate.
When all the volcanos were firing off in Iceland, I was following a bunch of Icelandic volcano, geology, and weather sites. Their names were crazy, as some of them were “Matronimic”, i.e. included the MOTHER’S name as their middle or last name, e.g. xxxxdottir. It’s bad enough with all their double-umlauted vowels (ääööüü. etc.), but then add their weird naming system. The spaniards use matronimics as well. Then, the Russians use Patronimics, so the middle name of someone is usually the father’s name. I think the Arabs do that too…
Could be understandable in the days of oral tradition, with no written records, but, hey, we’re in the 21st century now (though sometimes it doesn’t seem like it :))… Learned a whole lot of new letters with all the volcanos, though 🙂
