Sons of Abraham
In Galatians 3:7, Paul, writing to Gentiles, says, “Know then that it is those of faith who are the sons of Abraham” (ESV). Here Paul advances the idea of a spiritual family in contrast to a physical family—a family sharing faith rather than a bloodline.
Obviously, Abraham had literal, physical descendants. It was they, through Isaac and Jacob, who became the nation of Israel, God’s chosen people. However, many in Israel did not follow God the way that they should have. At the same time, there were some Gentiles in the Old Testament, like Rahab and Ruth, who were adopted into the family of Israel. In the New Testament, many Gentiles are “grafted” into the tree of Israel through their faith in Jesus, the Messiah of Israel (Romans 11:17–20).
Throughout the New Testament, we see that being physical descendants of Abraham, although culturally important, counts nothing for eternity. When John the Baptist was preaching to the Jews, he warned, “Do not think you can say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham” (Matthew 3:9). John’s point was that more important than their physical lineage was their spiritual lineage.
In John 8:32–41, Jesus is speaking to some Israelites who were by definition descendants of Abraham. However, Jesus says that their physical lineage is overshadowed by their negative spiritual lineage:
[Jesus said] “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
“They answered him, “We are Abraham’s descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?”
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. I know that you are Abraham’s descendants. Yet you are looking for a way to kill me, because you have no room for my word. I am telling you what I have seen in the Father’s presence, and you are doing what you have heard from your father.”
“Abraham is our father,” they answered.
“If you were Abraham’s children,” said Jesus, “then you would do what Abraham did. As it is, you are looking for a way to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things. You are doing the works of your own father.”
Twice, Jesus agrees that they are Abraham’s children but implies they really have another father. In verse 44 He states it plainly: “You are of your father the devil.” Their spiritual lineage trumped their physical lineage. Whatever blessings they counted on as physical “sons of Abraham” were negated by their condition as spiritual “sons of the devil.” Entrance to the kingdom will not be based on physical DNA but on faith in the Son of God.
In Romans 9:6–7 Paul explains, “For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel. Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham’s children.” In other words, there are some people who are descendants of Israel (Jacob), but they are not part of the blessing of Israel. Likewise, there are some who are descended from Abraham but not “sons of Abraham” in a spiritual sense. Being a descendant of Abraham, Isaac, or Jacob is not enough. One must also now be a “descendant” of Christ. Of course, Christ had no physical descendants, but, at the end of Romans 9, Paul explains that those who have faith like Abraham had are made righteous before God, just as Abraham was. Those without faith in Christ, even if they are physical descendants of Abraham, are excluded; those with faith in Christ, even if they are Gentiles, are included as spiritual “sons of Abraham.”
In Galatians 3, Paul states it all plainly: “So also Abraham ‘believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.’ Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham. . . . So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith” (Galatians 3:6–9). To be a “son” of someone is to have that person’s traits. To be the “Son of God” is to have God’s traits. To be a “son of Abraham” is to display a character quality of Abraham, namely, faith. Everyone who evinces faith is showing himself to be like Abraham in the sense that Abraham, too, had faith (Genesis 15:6).
Abraham heard from God and believed. Abraham’s faith caused him to leave everything behind and live the rest of his life as a stranger in a strange land. Abraham’s faith trusted that he and Sarah would have a child, even though that seemed impossible. Abraham’s faith was even willing to sacrifice the promised son, believing that God would raise him from the dead (Hebrews 11:9). Because of Abraham’s example of faith, the Bible points to him as the father of faith, as it were. All who similarly trust in the Lord are “sons of Abraham.” As Paul writes, “So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile . . . for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:26–29).
God had promised Abraham that “all peoples on earth will be blessed through you” (Genesis 12:3). One way this prophecy is fulfilled is through the salvation that God grants to us, by grace through faith: “Know then that it is those of faith who are the sons of Abraham. And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, ‘In you shall all the nations be blessed.’ So then, those who are of faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith” (Galatians 3:7–9, ESV).
A children’s Sunday school song has the line “Father Abraham had many sons; many sons had Father Abraham.” It’s a truth of Scripture expressed simply in those lyrics and stated clearly in Galatians 3:29, “Now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you” (NLT).

The Dead were rather unique. I know that my Dead-head friends would have been horrified and angered if I would have called it “country music for stoners” – but that’s damn close to what it was.
I suspect that a lot of folks would have taken “country music for stoners” in stride…..along with “stoner music for country fans”.

My favorite studio albums of theirs are their most popular mainstream albums, Workingman’s Dead and American Beauty (both 1970), and then Reckoning and Dead Set (both 1981).
Reckoning is a double live album of their acoustic songs, which is mostly songs from Workingman’s Dead and American Beauty.
Dead Set is a double live album of some of those same old songs, with electric guitar and organ added to the acoustic instruments.
So basically, I really like their 1970 music, and the live versions recorded in 1981 😁
I went to two Grateful Dead concerts, one when I was in high school and the other when I was in college. It was a great experience, but unfortunately I didn’t know too much of their music back then, and they didn’t usually play a lot of their most ‘mainstream’ songs at concerts.
Dead Set was the very first CD I ever bought, in 1985 or 1986. I went to the record store looking for a record, and they had CDs in stock for the first time. They came in long boxes originally, the width of a regular plastic CD case (which was inside), but about twice the height.
I had heard of the Grateful Dead, but didn’t know any of their music yet, besides Truckin’, from the radio. I was just fascinated by the cover.

I had been reading about CD players in Stereophile magazine, and really wanted one for my home stereo (Kenwood KR-720 40w receiver, Technics direct drive turntable, BSR graphic equalizer, Teac double-reverse tape deck and Sansui floor-standing 3-way speakers with 12″ woofers), but CD players were new technology, and expensive. Over $400 for the Sony I wanted.
I decided if I bought a CD, then I would need to get the CD player to play it. The CD would motivate me to save up my paper route money for a few months.
I still have that copy of Dead Set, it’s on a CD shelf, about 4 feet away from me… with about 1,500 other CDs that have joined it in the years since 😁
I have also acquired multiple copies of Workingman’s Dead, American Beauty, Reckoning and Dead Set on LP over the years, naturally 😁

It began when I was about 4 or 5 years old, as far back as I can remember, anyway.
My Mom would lock me in my room from around noon to 3 or 4 o’clock, so she could watch her *&^% soap operas, which warped her mind even further.
I wasn’t old enough to read yet. There was only one TV in the house and it was in the living room, and it was playing As the World Burns, or The Guiding Lie, or some other brain-rot trash.
I didn’t understand why I was being punished every day for 3 or 4 hours of solitary confinement.
But I had a little General Electric suitcase record player, and a small collection of 45s.

I had a few more, including The Alphabet Song (so I could learn the alphabet!), but those are the ones I remember.
So I played my records, over and over and over, about 3 minutes per side, so I could escape my prison, and go to a happier place, in 3 minute intervals, three or four hours a day 😁
I never lost the ability to regulate my mood through music. It’s like Dobie Gray sang it:
Oh, give me the beat boys
And free my soul
I wanna get lost in your rock and roll
And drift away…
The first time I heard that song, it was like it was written for me 😁
So it’s definitely about the music, not the collecting, but you needed to collect in order to have the music.
And as I got a little older, I noticed the adults’ stereo systems sounded really good — a lot better than mine. Especially my Uncle Bob’s stereo, but my Dad’s too.
My Dad had a Garrard all-in-one unit, a combination record player, phono pre-amp, amplifier and tuner.
It took some searching, but I found one, his exact model and speakers too. It’s an “Electro Voice” branded unit, with a built in Garrard turntable:
When I was in about 4th grade, I got the cheap Sears brand equivalent of my Dad’s Garrard combo player, and my other Uncle gave me my first two record albums for Christmas.

I didn’t know any music by either group, I was just so happy to have full sized records, I learned to appreciate the music that was on them 😂
I haven’t listened to Kiss since about 7th grade, but Queen songs like We Will Rock You and We are the Champions (both are on the album News of the World) will always be classics.
By around 7th grade, I upgraded to a Kenwood KR-720 40watt receiver:

Then my friend David and I rode double on his moped (which was illegal, and obviously highly visible!) out to an electronics store to buy my Technics SL-D20 direct drive turntable. I held the box between us, against my chest, on the ride home. By some miracle, we didn’t see any cops the whole way — either direction 😂

I blew up my Sears speakers (the Kenwood 40 watt receiver was just too powerful!), and that led to the Sansui 3-way floor standing speakers with removable grills and 12″ woofers, my first real set of speakers.

Then I got the BSR graphic equalizer ($149) out of a DAK catalog.
I can’t believe I found the exact article, in the DAK catalog, showing the exact model, with the exact price I paid ($149 closeout), all those years ago!
It was the perfect light show, when you turned all the lights out in the room, for listening to music 😁

Then I needed a tape deck, so I could make my own mix tapes, my favorite songs, basically being my own DJ and making greatest hits tapes from all of my favorite groups in my collection.
I was wrong earlier, it wasn’t a Teac, it was a Technics RS-B68R (I still have it, in the original box, I just checked the box for the model number):

Then came the CD player I read about in Stereophile magazine. I wanted it for what must have been a year. The Sony CDP-302 II, with a remote control.
The articles promised that CD was ‘perfect sound forever’, no more cleaning records, and with a remote, I could skip to all of my favorite songs without leaving my stereo chair 😁

Besides the graphic equalizer, and my Dad’s 1967 Corvette, it was about the coolest thing I had ever seen.
Around that same time, Columbia and BMG came out with CD clubs, similar to their Record clubs, where you could pick out something like 10 CDs from their catalog for a penny each, upfront, and then you were obligated to buy something like 5 or 7 more at regular club price.
As soon as I finished my obligation, I canceled, and then signed up again, so I could grow my CD collection. Basically trying to duplicate my record collection.
This was all taking place with the backdrop of MTV, which was horrible, and killed the radio star, which was classic rock, which is what I liked.
I didn’t want all that gay techno-pop synth-drum globo-homo Safety-Dance nonsense. I wanted Zeppelin, Stones, Who, Doors, Hendrix, CSNY, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Yes, Eagles, Eric Clapton, Bob Marley, Fleetwood Mac, Bob Dylan and Neil Young.
MTV gave us Men without Hats, Flock of Seagulls, Fine Young Cannibals, Dexy’s Midnight Runners, Wham!, Duran Duran, Madonna and Boy George. (insert vomit emoji here).
So I needed to build up my personal music collection, because I wasn’t going into the pastel colored gay 80s… I was going straight back to the great classic rock of the 60s and 70s…
And that’s where I was staying, until the music Homopocalypse passed 👍😂
Then I took all my stereo equipment (minus the turntable) and CD collection to college, and turned our entire dorm hallway into classic rock fans.
My room was the party room for music. One of my best friends from high school was in the dorm room next to mine.
One of my new friends had a 19″ color TV, so the next year (sophomore) we were roommates, and I got a stereo VCR, and hooked the TV and VCR up to my stereo.
All of our friends from freshman dorm moved together to the same 3rd floor hallway in the sophomore dorm. It was the international dorm, but we didn’t care, it was the only dorm where we could get enough rooms for everyone in the same hallway. That’s where we met our muslim friend from Turkey, and helped him learn conversational English, and he was part of our group for the rest of college.
My roommate and I got rid of our desks, and borrowed a couch and comfortable chairs from the study lounge on the second floor of the dorm, and we were all set.
So our room was the party room, for movies and music.
My roommate couldn’t be bothered to put my CDs back in alphabetic order, and with around 80+ CDs, it was a lot easier to find the CD I was looking for if it was in some kind of order.
So I NUMBERED them, with a little piece of masking tape on the spine of each CD, and my roommate was able to use the numbering system. Had to change all the numbers (alphabetically forward of the new one) every time I got a new CD.
All of my old CDs that I still have from that time still have masking tape residue on the spines, where the tape used to be 😂
Bought my first PC my senior year of college (year 7… I was on the Bluto Blutarsky plan).
After college came the Internet, and the Steve Hoffman music forum, where I learned about different masterings of my favorite music, and how some editions / albums of the same music could sound much better than others, depending on whether it was an original, or a remaster that actually used the original master tapes instead of multi-generation removed copy tapes, etc.
So that began the refinement stage of collecting all of my favorite music a third time.
It began with records, then I duplicated my record collection on CD, and then, after I found the Steve Hoffman forum, I was back to records and CDs, because in most cases some version on vinyl sounded best, whether it was an original UK pressing of the Beatles, or a Steve Hoffman reissue (or a MoFi, a.k.a. MFSL, a.k.a. Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs) that used the actual master tapes, etc.
That’s when I learned about the most important mastering engineers of the 1960s and 1970s, the relatively few guys responsible for mastering and cutting the majority of all the classic rock there is.
Doug Sax (‘TML’, initials for The Mastering Lab), Bernie Grundman (BG), Lee Hulko (LH), Robert Ludwig (RL), George Peckham (Pecko Duck / Porky), Harry T. Moss (HTM) and George Marino (GM), Denis Blackham (Bilbo), Gilbert Kong (GK), Stan Ricker (SR/2), Wally Traugott (Wally).
There are lots of others, but the guys listed above probably account for the majority of the greatest records of the 1960s and 1970s. Bernie Grundman, who mastered and cut the original first issue of Joni Mitchell’s “Blue” LP (1971) is still working today, cranking out great reissues from original master tapes, for audiophile reissue companies like Acoustic Sounds / Analogue Productions.
Robert Ludwig’s original mastering and first pressing of Led Zeppelin II is historic and highly sought after, getting up to $800 or more for a VG+ example. He cut it hot and it really rocks like no other issue since, but it caused many of the cheaper turntables of the era to skip, so the label (Atlantic) did a reissue, where the bass was cut down, and that became the version everyone heard ever since.
But if you get the real deal, the original first issue with the initials ‘RL’ in the deadwax, you can hear Led Zeppelin II the way it was meant to sound 😎
For jazz records, ‘RVG’ in the deadwax is Rudy Van Gelder.
Each major record label had their own chief mastering engineer, and they handled the label’s best selling groups, while their assistants did the mastering and cutting work for lesser known and up-and-comers.
So you want to look for the initials or whatever unique mark the best mastering engineers ‘signed’ their work with, in the dead-wax runout grooves of the record. Because mastering and cutting an LP is an artform all its own, and the small group of guys who were best at it made records that sounded amazing.
And it helps to identify which record plants had a reputation for using the best (quietest) vinyl, like Santa Maria or Monarch pressings, also identifiable, either by markings on the label or in the dead-wax, or both.
More recently, mastering engineers like Chris Bellman (CB), Kevin Gray (KG), Ryan K. Smith (RKS) and others are taking over for the old guard, having learned their craft from the best.
And if you already knew all that, then like Gilda Radner would say, never mind…
I’m no expert, just an enthusiast, so I like talking about this stuff.
There are certain specific LP issues of most great albums that have the ‘magic’ to them. A great example (besides Led Zeppelin II mentioned earlier) is Van Morrison’s “His Band and the Street Choir” LP (1970, same year as Moondance).
Robert Ludwig mastered that one also, and original U.S. first pressings are the ones you want to find, with “RL” in the dead wax.
I remember the first time I heard an ‘RL’ copy of His Band and the Street Choir, it was like nothing I had ever heard on the CD, which is what I was familiar with for that album.
It sounds ‘alive’, it’s hard to describe it, there’s an energy to the music that always leads to hyperbole from reviewers, who say things like “the music leaps out of the grooves“, but it’s true, it does.
A later reissue of the same LP, cut from an equalized copy tape several generations removed from the original master tape, cut by some unknown mastering engineer, sounds nothing like the original first pressing cut by Robert Ludwig.
When you hear music that sounds alive, coming out of your stereo system, it is a kind of magic. It puts a huge grin on your face, and makes you feel like you’re a kid again 😁
Most albums, over time, have been identified with regard to which specific pressing is ‘the one’ with the best sound. Usually it’s a first issue from the country of origin, because the master tapes usually remain in the country where the album was recorded, and a copy tape is sent to other countries for their pressings.
But there are lots of exceptions, or situations where a UK group recorded in America, or an American group recorded in the UK, and so it’s reversed, i.e., the best sounding Jimi Hendrix records are usually UK first pressings, at least until the latest reissues on 12″ vinyl at 45rpm, mastered and cut by Bernie Grundman, from the original master tapes of Axis: Bold as Love (1967), new release coming in 2026 😁

As time goes on, lots of classic rock era stuff comes out of the vaults for 25th, 30th, 40th and now 50th anniversary editions, with previously unreleased early demos and early recording sessions, alternate takes, unreleased concerts, etc., to entice you to buy it one more time (again) (again)…
A lot of it only available on CD or blu-ray, sometimes with multichannel options (5.1, 7.1, Atmos).
Then there are limited edition LPs with exclusive new material twice a year, for Record Store Day, and you can only get them at brick and mortar stores, until the following day when they’re allowed to sell them online.
But by then, most of the stores are out of stock, so you have to hunt online to find what you missed, trying to avoid paying scalper prices.
So you really need the ability to play CDs and LPs and blu-rays, and have equipment that is of good enough quality to get the most out of the music.
Because in the end, it’s all about the music.
It has always been about the music, and the way it makes you feel good, and how it can take you away from all the troubles in this world, if only for a little while 😁

It probably is like an addiction in some ways, it just seems normal, since I can’t remember a time when music wasn’t something special to me.
It has occurred to me many times that the music, and how it made me feel better, or sometimes feel anything at all over the years, was a gift from the Lord, to help me deal with something I had no way to process when I was little.
And that gift has been with me ever since, through many difficult times, and some good ones too 👍 😎
Reminds me of the time my parents and my sisters and I were coming back from a specialist my Dad was seeing, because he had a rare form of cancer.
It was a pretty somber drive home, but the radio was on, and a great old song by Head East, called There’s Never Been any Reason (1975, a.k.a. Save My Life I’m Going Down for the Last Time) came on the radio.
I was in the back seat, and my leg started bouncing to the beat. I started singing along like I was by myself, keeping the beat with my hands against my legs like playing bongos, and pretty soon I was just jamming out.
When the song got to the interlude, where it’s almost acapella, when all the instruments stop besides the bass, my Dad, who was driving, smiled and said “Somebody’s having a good time”.
Everybody cracked up, including me, and the whole mood in the car changed for the better.
When the song came on, it was like an internal switch just flipped. All the stress and sadness of the moment melted away, and I went to my happy place without even meaning to, just rockin’ out in the back seat of the car 😁
That’s the power of music. That’s what it has always been for me. You wouldn’t think it would work when you’re really feeling bad, but that’s usually when it works the best.
And it works great when you’re feeling good, too.
It just works. Like a natural antidepressant that can be activated whenever you want to.
And that’s a pretty powerful thing 😎

So, here’s a fun little one. One player is Elizabeth Zharoff, otherwise known as The Charismatic Voice from all her Youtube videos. She’s a classical opera singer (as was our dear DePat) used to filling opera halls with her unamplified voice.
She meets with this guy at NAMM and he figures he’d play a little thing on guitar where she could sing along. “Summertime and the Living is Easy”, the opening aria from Porgy and Bess.
After about three notes, he can no longer hear the guitar…..and after five notes, he can no longer hear himself think.

The USA blows it (on purpose) The human brain learns languages best at very young ages. After age 12 you will learn a language with an American accent.
My German teacher knew this. He spoke German to his children, his wife English, one set of grandparents Italian and the other French. Those lucky kids grew up knowing 4 different languages.
As it turns out, normal kids (about 6yo, IIRC) can absorb even more than four languages so long as each person they know speaks one consistently. Even further, they can learn perfect musical pitch at the same time.

3-12 Our Saviour here gives eight characters of blessed people, which represent to us the principal graces of a Christian. 1. The poor in spirit are happy. These bring their minds to their condition, when it is a low condition. They are humble and lowly in their own eyes. They see their want, bewail their guilt, and thirst after a Redeemer. The kingdom of grace is of such; the kingdom of glory is for them. 2. Those that mourn are happy. That godly sorrow which worketh true repentance, watchfulness, a humble mind, and continual dependence for acceptance on the mercy of God in Christ Jesus, with constant seeking the Holy Spirit, to cleanse away the remaining evil, seems here to be intended. Heaven is the joy of our Lord; a mountain of joy, to which our way is through a vale of tears. Such mourners shall be comforted by their God. 3. The meek are happy. The meek are those who quietly submit to God; who can bear insult; are silent, or return a soft answer; who, in their patience, keep possession of their own souls, when they can scarcely keep possession of anything else. These meek ones are happy, even in this world. Meekness promotes wealth, comfort, and safety, even in this world.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

So here is my personal take on the shooting based on looking at several video versions and hearing verbals by Good’s “partner.”
I believe everyone has the wrong motivation for the actual shooting.
Have just heard again someone – in this case Homan – talk about the officer pulling his gun and shooting because “he was in fear for his life.”
I say NO!
He pulled his gun and shot because…he was in fear for his PARTNER’s life!!!
Looking at the videos, he pulled his gun just as the “wife” was taking a step back from the other side of the car while shouting “drive, baby, drive, drive.”
At that exact SAME time, another officer was at the driver’s door, had put his hand on the door handle to open it, and was possibly also starting to reach into the window.
The officer who shot heard the command to drive, AND saw his fellow officer in danger at the car window…at that instant he pulled his gun…then heard the spinning of the tires (thank you vigilant fox for your great video!) AND THEN shot to keep the driver from pulling away, endangering his partner officer who was fully engaged at the car door.
Having just gone through this same situation causing him injury a few months earlier, he was fully aware of the danger to his partner officer if that car moved.
THAT was his motivation for shooting…NOT “fear” for his own life.
It was not a selfish act, not a coward’s act, and, indeed, he was himself injured by the driver’s actions because his focus was on his partner’s safety.
That is my take on it, and I’m sticking to it.
And, btw, you can find multiple videos online of LEOs being seriously injured, even killed, by vehicles driving off when the officer has approached the side of the parked vehicle after a legal stop.
I saw a couple days ago 66 ICE officers have been hurt by vehicles since the start of the year.
I think the LEO was afraid for his life AND the life of his partner.
Also I think the ‘word’ had gone out to the PAID organizers to step up the pressure and start using vehicles as weapons against ICE.
ICE would be well aware of that. These women were NOT INNOCENT protesters, they are the
foot soldierson the ground Lieutenants of the treasonous Cabal and/or foreign adversaries.Agree with everybody. No innocent players in the protests. They’re trained terrorists. The goal is to impede and injure agents if possible.
It’s a hand to hand battle.
