Guidelines for posting and discussion on this site were outlined by our host, WolfM00n. Please, review them from time to time.

The discourse on this site is to be CIVIL – no name calling, baiting, or threatening others here is allowed. Those who are so inclined may visit Wolf’s other sanctuary, the U-Tree, to slog it out. There is also a “rescue” thread there for members of the Tree to rendezvous if the main site goes kablooey. A third site has been added for site outages of longer duration.

This site is a celebration of the natural rights endowed to humans by our Creator as well as those enshrined in the Bill of Rights adopted in the founding documents of the United States of America. LUKE 10:1-9

1After this the Lord appointed seventy others, and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to come. 2And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. 3Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs in the midst of wolves. 4Carry no purse, no bag, no sandals; and salute no one on the road. 5Whatever house you enter, first say, `Peace be to this house!’ 6And if a son of peace is there, your peace shall rest upon him; but if not, it shall return to you. 7And remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they provide, for the laborer deserves his wages; do not go from house to house. 8Whenever you enter a town and they receive you, eat what is set before you; 9heal the sick in it and say to them, `The kingdom of God has come near to you.’

Thank you, De Pat, for another week of outstanding posts.

Oh, and something a little different.

This one is close enough to my house that we can walk there.

You’d prefer more varied gardens with fewer roses?

Near where I used to live in Rochester was the Maplewood Park & Rose Garden

And the Genesee river.

Maplewood Park is a linear park that follows the river from Driving Park Blvd. and the Lower Falls to just north of Route 104, ending at the pedestrian bridge over the Genesee.

It is a crying shame what the Communists have done to that beautiful city.

May still be a large grass field, also at The Rose Garden.

Back in the day, when kids were allowed to have fun…

Pick-up games of touch football. Great kid times.

Understand The Rose Garden, now has a large wrought iron fence around it.

👍 Yes – much appreciated!

The armadillo is bust-a-gut funny. In case some don’t know, Texas armadillos think they’re invulnerable so they go out on the roads and challenge the cars.

They always lose.

Road kill! The armadillo is also the official small mammal of Texas.

I did a little research, and this is not an election year for the governor of Texas (Greg Abbott), the lieutenant governor (Dan Patrick), and the attorney general (Ken Paxton). They all serve four-year terms and were elected in 2022. Senator Rand Paul was also elected in 2022, so he is not up for reelection this year either. The same for Mitch McConnell.

Cocaine Mitch can still be arrested though.

Effit. Not going there with some people tonight.

Whatever the motivation.

I’ll Not Deride Support Given to Texas, securing America’s border…

I agree. I never questioned their motivation.

It is for Ted Cruz and the president.

The people who are front and center in the border battle, such as the leaders of Texas, are not up for reelection.

I haven’t seen Cruz leading the charge in the border battle, although I know he stands with Abbott and Trump on it. IOW, I don’t think his motivation is reelection.

I certainly don’t think that Trump’s motives for protecting the border are to get himself elected.

Gail Combs

Trump’s motives are perfectly clear. HE LOVES THIS COUNTRY and he could not stand by and watch it’s demise at the hands of a few extremely wealthy UNELECTED NON-AMERICANS.

And do not think for a moment that the origins of the mess in Canada, the USA, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, Latin America, Australia… is not connected to the same vile Cabal.

The New York SLIMES? Home of the Stalin Propagandist Walter Duranty.

He was refuted by Welsh journalist Garth Jones so they MURDERED HIM!

Today, hardly anyone even knows the name of this truth teller.

Journalist Gareth Jones’ 1935 murder

…Gareth Jones, who was also a personal aide to former prime minister David Lloyd George, helped expose Stalin’s “holodomor” policy of deliberate starvation.

This claimed the lives of anywhere between 4m and 10m peasant farmers in the Ukraine during 1932/33.

Jones also formed relations with the Nazis in Germany and even flew aboard Hitler’s private plane.

But in 1935 he was murdered in murky circumstances while reporting from Japanese-occupied Mongolia….

His linguistic skills saw him rise to prominence in diplomatic circles, and by 1930 he was foreign policy adviser to the former prime minister, fellow Welshman David Lloyd George.

While some contemporaries accused him of harbouring Nazi sympathies, according to Mr Carey, history appears not to bear this out.

“It’s certainly true to say that Gareth Jones networked extremely well with the Nazis, and secured almost unprecedented access to Hitler and Goebbels,” he said.

“He was there in Leipzig when Hitler was made chancellor, and flew with him to Frankfurt for his first rally….

WALTER DURANTYThe following letter was written on behalf of Gareth in support of the 2003 Ukrainian campaign for revocation of Walter Duranty’s 1932 Pulitzer Prize:

To The Pulitzer Prize Committee,
Columbia University,
709 Journalism Building,
2950 Broadway
New York, NY, USA, 10027.
An open letter to the committee deliberating on the revocation of the 1932 Pulitzer Prize for Correspondence from Walter Duranty.

Dear Sirs,

Re. Duranty & Gareth Richard Vaughan Jones (1905 -1935)

This is a personal plea to revoke the 1932 Pulitzer Prize from the infamous journalist, Walter Duranty, who libelously damned the truthful reporting of my uncle, Gareth Jones.

On March 31st 1933, Gareth Jones, a young Welsh journalist, returning from an investigative tour of Soviet Ukraine, who then dared to publicly expose the severity of 1933 Soviet famine, was the prime recipient of Walter Duranty’s villainous New York Times diatribe, ‘Russians Hungry but not Starving’. By vaunting his then esteemed journalistic reputation through the integrity of The New York Times to defame Gareth Jones, Duranty brutally portrayed Jones of being both a scaremonger and a liar. Duranty further stated, “There is no actual starvation or death from starvation, but there is widespread mortality from disease due to malnutrition”.

Duranty’s article was in immediate response Gareth Jones’ press report from Berlin on March 29th 1933; and in attendance was Hubert. R. Knickerbocker (the 1931 Pulitzer Prize winner for his analysis and reporting of the Soviet Five-Year Plan), who firmly believed Jones’ famine revelations, elucidated through his cable despatch of the same day to The New York Evening Post:

“…Because of his position, because of his reputation for reliability and impartiality and because he is the only first-hand observer who has visited the Russian countryside since it was officially closed to foreigners, is bound to receive widespread attention in official England as well as among the public of the country”.

Gareth Jones had just returned from his third visit to the Soviet Union, and on this occasion had undertaken a 40-mile walk through villages in the countryside of Ukraine where he spoke to the peasants, and slept in their cottages.

Details of his Berlin press report were published in many American and British newspapers including The Manchester Guardian, in which Malcolm Muggeridge’s three unsigned murderous-starvation articles (dated March 25th, 27th and 28th 1933) had just been printed. Unfortunately, at that time these reports went entirely unnoticed, as they stood without credence. Nevertheless, during April 1933, Jones wrote at least 20 famine-related articles that were published in several newspapers, including the Welsh Western Mail and The Daily Express of London. Later articles by Gareth Jones on the crisis were published in Britain and in the American press, including the Boston Sunday Advertiser and The Washington Herald. He then embarked on an extensive lecture tour entitled, The Enigma of Bolshevik Russia, in Britain and Ireland, and subsequently, in 1934, across the USA. It is therefore without doubt that he did more than any Western journalist to broadcast the plight of the peasants in the Soviet Union….

Only now two decades later, with the rise of Independent Media is the NY Slimes FINALLY inching back!

2022: The New York Times’ can’t shake the cloud over a 90-year-old Pulitzer Prize

In 2003, public pressure led 👉the Times and the Pulitzer Prize Board to conduct parallel reviews of Duranty’s work and the prize. The board found no “clear and convincing evidence of deliberate deception.” It decided against withdrawing his award. (The Pulitzer Prize administrator at the time, Sig Gissler, declined to comment for this story.)

Then-Times Publisher Arthur Sulzberger Jr. said he had concluded stripping Duranty’s work of the award would be like airbrushing history — in essence, a “Stalinist” approach. (A historian hired by the Times as a consultant in evaluating Duranty’s work would publicly denounce that conclusion shortly after.) The newspaper publicly posted an essay representing its institutional position, calling his work discredited and explaining why.

Bill Keller had just become The Times’ executive editor that summer. He tells NPR he looks back with some regret that he did not push harder for the award to be returned. He now says the Pulitzer board should rescind it.

Isn’t it though. Hubby just sent info about Garth Jones to his brainwashed journalist brother yesterday. He asked me if I knew about him and was surprised that I did.

Therefore he was on my mind.

Well. Before today, I never heard the name, Bernays. Have Always enjoyed bacon.

Today, Bernays is in the QTree news.

  • Bernays is a bad guy. Who knew? Not Slow Guy.
  • Swear off bacon, cuz Bernays was a bad guy, asshole, grifter…?

With all of the horseshit going on…

It’ll be bacon and eggs, when DW prepares them soon. 🙂

Tomorrow, next day, bacon and eggs. OK, sausage or ham usually once a week.

I’m NOT giving up coffee, bacon and as Gail reminded me, MEAT. :wpds_razz:

Happy go lucky

I don’t drink coffee either lol

Gail Combs

SIGHHHhhh, no coffee, no bacon, no ham, no sausage…

Though I will have a salt free omelet.

Now I just have to find a good recipe for homemade BBQ sauce…

Tomato or no tomato?

Gail Combs

Fruits and veggies are fine. I have to watch meats because they often have sodium from salt used in the preparation.

With luck the Fenben with vitamins will get rid of the possible adrenal tumor that makes me so sensitive to sodium.

I am an “ALDO slam dunk” though I have not done the blood testing. I did take prednisone for asthma and my blood pressure dropped like a rock.

Prednisone has the general effect of suppressing the function of the adrenal glands, thereby reducing the levels of hormones secreted by the adrenal glands LINK

The diagnosis and testing for primary Hyperaldosteronism — also called Conn’s Syndrome

All patients who are diagnosed accurately with unilateral primary hyperaldosteronism benefit from surgery, but women, and young patients tend to benefit the most. About 80 % of our patients with primary hyperaldosteronism are ALDO slam dunks. Yes, the operation will prevent you from developing future strokes, heart attacks, and arrhythmias (for instance, atrial fibrillation), and premature death… Read about curative surgery, Mini Back Scope Scope Adrenalectomy (MBSA)

Being conservative,🤓 I think I will try Fenbendazole and vitamins before I have my adrenal gland removed.

Meanwhile I avoid salt like the plague.

Happy go lucky

Dang, Gail, that’s tough.

Cod liver oil was a huge help for my son when he was little and had asthma. Also C and D which you prolly already take.

Happy go lucky

This is my dads (what we call) bbq sauce recipe:

Press a one quart size jar of home canned tomatoes through a sieve (you’d want to use the salt free can from the store)
mix in crushed red pepper to taste
sweeten with a bit of honey to taste
let the flavors “marry” for a while

It is similar to Thai sweet chili sauce, the sweetness level depends on the amount of honey you add of course. I know people can be seriously adamant about tomato versus no tomato, as well as sugar versus no sugar, in bbq sauce, especially in NC lol. But we looove this!

It’s all in fun. 🙂

December 21, 2023 North Carolina legislators take action after Trump ballot disqualification

North Carolina House Speaker Tim Moore, R-Cleveland, and Elections Chair Rep. Grey Mills, R-Iredell, said Thursday they are pursuing legislation to counter efforts in North Carolina to prevent Trump from appearing on the 2024 presidential ballot.

“In light of recent efforts by activists both here in North Carolina and other (states), we believe it is necessary for us to explore legislative action to ensure the Democratic majority on the NC State Board of Elections does not have unchecked authority to remove a major political party’s nominee from the ballot,” Moore and Mills wrote in a joint statement.

“North Carolina will be a critical state in the upcoming presidential election and removing a leading candidate is this race like President Trump would be an affront to democracy.”

The North Carolina State Board of Elections on Tuesday voted 4-1 against acting on a complaint from voter Sandy Ridge that alleges Trump is not qualified for the Republican primary election. The complaint pointed to the U.S. Constitution’s 14th Amendment that bars anyone from serving as president who has previously sworn an oath to the constitution and “engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same,” citing the Jan. 6, 2021 events at the Capitol.

The elections board ruled it did not have the authority to block Trump from the primary ballot, but signaled it may revisit the issue for the general election….

Does Sandy Ridge have a brother named Rocky Ridge? Asking for a friend.

Seriously, Sandy Ridge sounds like a stage name.

The doctor on that video said these kinds of things (deaths!) can happen, but extremely rarely. They want us to gamble with our lives.

Anyone in the scientific or medical fields with evil intent would WANT us conditioned to accept the risks. Then the table would be set for anything they wanted to inject into us or give us orally or place under our skin.

For me, trust is completely broken and has been for a long time.

Happy go lucky

These people are maddening. Imagine listening to or being told that to your face while grieving for your dead loved one?! I’m selfish, I don’t care about anyone else’s risk of catching the flu or Covid, I only care about my loved ones.

And she sits there like a slob, looking the picture of fast food and soda eaten in the car. Then dares to tell other people “it’s so rare” to drop dead like that.

Cuppa Covfefe

Have to wonder if it was one of those “trivalent” flu shots, where COVID and something else (another useless virus RNA shot) is merged into the “regular” flu show. Seems it’s very difficult anymore to get just one “immunization” at a time…

Gotta keep those revenue streams going…

Oh, wait… they’re dropping like flies…

May the deceased rest in eternal Peace, and may the family and friends left behind find Comfort.

From the document:
Updated Flu Vaccine for 2023-2024
“The 2023-2024 season U.S. will contain an updated influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 component:
“* A/Victoria/4897/2022 (H1N1)pdm09-like virus for egg-based vaccines and
“* A/Wisconsin/67/2022 (H1N1)pdm09-like virus for cell-based or recombinant vaccines.” (bolding mine)
“pdm09-like virus” basically means a LAB-CREATED virus, IMO, (Can it be said — a kind of “gain-of-function-lite version?”)

It appears that the 2023-2024 influenza vaccine formula is a “re-issue” of the 2022 formulae vaccines, BUT with the addition of a RECOMBINANT influenza “vaccine”, FLUBLOK.

FLUBLOK by Sanofi is a recombinant influenza “vaccine.” It uses recombinant DNA as the platform. (Think the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 “vaccine” AND ITS PROVEN ASSOCIATED INCIDENCES OF BLOOD CLOT FORMATION IN RECIPIENTS OF THIS “VACCINE” — WHICH IS WHY THE FDA REMOVED IT FROM USE IN THE U.S. IN THE SPRING OF 2023.)

Here’s a Clinical Trials registered study to compare the effects of the egg-based influenza vaccine FLUZONE against the effects of recombinant influenza “vaccine” FLUBLOK. This study is sponsored BY THE CDC. IT IS “ACTIVE, NOT RECRUITING.” IT WAS BEGUN ON 9.13.2022 WITH AN “ESTIMATED STUDY COMPLETION DATE” OF 12.31.2023:
“No Results Posted”

There is ALSO the potential involvement of ANY COVID-19 “vaccine” that this unfortunate young person may have had in their body — ESPECIALLY if the deceased then took the FLUBLOK “vaccine.” The current “2023-2024 Formula COVID-19 Vaccines” by BOTH Pfizer-BioNTech AND by Moderna contain DANGEROUS lipid nanoparticles that speed the delivery of these “vaccines” to EVERY PART OF THE BODY, including to the brain. The “other” COVID-19 “vaccine” available in the U.S., by NOVAVAX, is ALSO associated with blood clot formation (thrombosis) in persons who take this “vaccine.”

Here’s a handy-dandy chart of influenza vaccines available for the 2023-2024 season in the U.S. (chart for professionals to refer to):
“Influenza Vaccine Products for the 2023-2024 Influenza Season”

The “consumer” version of is here:
This website is basically, IMO, a slick “GASLIGHTING campaign” to “convince” people to get “vaccinated” against influenza, COVID-19, and so forth.

Good info; thanks!

If doctors were really this stupid, their profession would never have evolved from things like blood-letting.

It’s like a painter being unaware that the color green comes from mixing blue and yellow.

There is no way one can actually be a professional painter without knowing basic things about colors.

And there is no way one can be a professional doctor, without being able to connect an invasive medical procedure (getting a shot) with death, when death occurs 24 hours later.

Could the cause of death be something else?

Of course, but the most obvious potential cause to be ruled out is the shot, when the shot is the one thing that a statistically significant percentage of people have in common, and who are also dying suddenly for no other apparent reason.

It’s not rocket science.

It’s not even 9th grade earth science.

You have to be a *&^%ing idiot not to investigate the potential causal relationship between the shot and all the otherwise unexplainable deaths.

Valerie Curren

When my EMT/firefighter son mentions heart attacks &/or strokes in people he’s encountered I always ask if they’d had the shot. Amazingly this is not a question the “professionals” want to have asked…or answered it would seem 😡

Gail Combs

Of course not.

It is really just that simple.

Apparently in Texas there is a State Guard that is separate from the National Guard. The Texas State Guard is solely under the command of the governor and can’t be commandeered by the federal government.

The mission of the Texas State Guard (TXSG) is to provide mission-ready military forces to assist state and local authorities in times of state emergencies, to conduct homeland security and mission support activities under the umbrella of Defense Support to Civil Authorities, and to augment the Texas Army National Guard and Texas Air National Guard as required.

Headquartered at Camp Mabry in Austin, Texas, the TXSG functions as an organized state military under the authority of Title 32 of the U.S. Code and Chapter 431 of theTexas Government Code. The Governor of Texas has sole control over the Texas State Guard, because it is not subject to federal activation.

SMOKING GUN: Fani Willis’ DA Office Received 2 Letters From Biden White House Counsel Amid Trump Witch Hunt (VIDEO)

The Fulton County District Attorney’s office on Thursday admitted it received two letters from Joe Biden’s White House Counsel amid its Trump witch hunt.

This is clear evidence that Joe Biden’s White House is coordinating with Fani Willis’s office.

Julie Kelly:

NEW: During a hearing today for Jeff Clark in Fani Willis’ RICO case, DA office admitted it received 2 letters from Biden White House counsel.

Judge wants both letters filed under seal for en camera review in his chambers.

If “en camera” means put a TV camera on it so the whole world can see what those letters say, then I’m all for it.

Put the old EN camera on it.

Let’s go 👍

I’ve never seen it spelled that way; must be a typo. Too bad that “in camera” means in the judge’s private chambers. I’d much prefer the TV route.

Tomāto, tomäto… put the old IN camera on it then!

Good to know. I can’t find it in any dictionaries, but they all have “in camera.” It must be something that insiders know about.

I like older dictionaries better, because they haven’t been corrupted by Leftist idiocy or political-correctness or the general dumbing down of society in the recent half century.

Robert Baker

In camera is a Latin term which literally translates to “in chambers” but carries the meaning “in private”. Portions of a case held in camera are held in private before a judge where the press and the public are not allowed to take part.

Yes, but the “en” spelling is not in dictionaries.

Cuppa Covfefe

En is French, In is Latin… I should’ve thought of that…

mainly that elections are the responsibility of the state legislature and the governor and others illegally made changes to those laws, which is out of their realm.
I hope this has impact

Valerie Curren

Yes. I think that type of thing was a big part of the 2020 steal in Michigan too 😡

Gail Combs

Perkins Coie was the law firm used to wash cash and info FROM Hitlery TO the Obama admin, in order to obscure the origins of RUSSIA,RUSSIA, RUSSIA. It was the Law firm that destroyed our 2020 elections.

Here is a bit of info on this viper nested in our legal system

February 01, 2021–

Perkins Coie’s Marc Elias Became Every Democrat’s Favorite Lawyer. Now He Wants to Reform Democracy Itself.

Perkins Coie’s Marc Elias won 62 election cases for Democrats in two months. His next task—restoring faith in voting—may be more difficult.

In the month following the November election, the 54 attorneys in Perkins Coie’s political law group weren’t enough to suppress the Trump campaign’s attempt to litigate President Joe Biden out of the White House. Commercial litigators pitched in to assist on legal teams, driving the number of Perkins Coie attorneys working on post-election cases past 100.

It was an extraordinary moment, even for a practice that is steeped in these kinds of battles. Since Marc Elias, the architect of the firm’s legal effort on behalf of the Democrats, took over as the political law group’s chair in 2009, it has billed over $150 million to Democratic entities. This project required renewed focus—and more hands on deck.

Their Top Lawyer, Marc Elias, spun off to form a new law firm

:wpds_arrow: 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗟𝗘. It is jam packed with facts and can not be summarized. How a top Democrat lawyer undermined both sides’ confidence in U.S. elections

Marc Elias was central player in both 2016 Russia collusion hoax and 2020 campaign to upend voting laws in midstream.

Read between the lines. It looks to me as if Perkins Coie was ALWAYS an instrument of the Cabal/Oligarch from its founding in 1912, a year before the Federal Reserve Act to now.

𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗶𝗲 𝗟𝗟𝗣 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆

Perkins Coie–a firm of almost 500 attorneys in 14 offices worldwide with a Beijing office soon to come….

Key Dates:

👉1912: – Perkins Coie’s predecessor, Donworth & Todd, is formed.😏

1916: Donworth & Todd secures William E. Boeing as a client.

1986:Robert Giles is appointed managing partner.

1998: A merger with Hosie, Wes, Sacks & Brelsford LLP gives Perkins Coie a physical presence in Silicon Valley.

Company History:

Perkins Coie LLP is a law partnership whose clients are among the largest corporations in the world. Through 14 offices primarily located in the western United States, Perkins Coie’s more than 500 lawyers serve clients such as The Boeing Co., AT&T Wireless, and Nintendo of America. The law firm is based in Seattle and operates internationally through offices in Taipei, Taiwan, London, England, and in Hong Kong.

The largest law firm in the Pacific Northwest at the beginning of the 21st century was founded not long after the beginning of the 20th century. It was a law partnership founded with a handshake. In 1912, Perkins Coie’s two original partners first discussed forming their own firm while taking a walk along the streets of Seattle. The instigator of the discussion was George Donworth, Federal Judge of the Western District of Washington. To his side was Elmer Todd, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Washington. Both men wanted to return to private practice…

Throughout Perkins Coie’s history, the law firm was known for its business ties with some of the largest coporations in the world, a legacy established by the fledgling Donworth firm. The leap from having no clients to forging relationships with companies set to become corporate giants was aided greatly by Donworth & Todd’s landlord. The firm rented three offices in the Hoge Building, owned by James D. Hoge, who introduced the law firm to several of its long-term, mainstay clients. Hoge’s contributions as a networker began not long after the Donworth firm landed its first client.

Several weeks after opening their doors, the two partners were hired by the Seattle and Lake Washington Water Way Co., a company originally formed to dig a canal through one of the major hills in Seattle. The firm’s second client was provided by Hoge, who served as president of Union Savings and Trust Co.--a banking entity that evolved into Seattle First National Bank, or Seafirst–and hired Donworth & Todd as the chief counsel for his bank, providing a substantial and long-term source of revenue for the young firm….

I recall PC attorneys being behind the major efforts to stomp all legal cases dealing with aka BHO’s non- Natural Born Citizenship status & ineligibility to be president. I think they were connected to Hitlery too. 😡

24 GOP Legislators in Pennsylvania Challenge Biden Over Voter Registration Executive Order
A group of 24 Republican legislators in Pennsylvania have filed a federal complaint against President Joe Biden, Gov. Josh Shapiro, and representatives of the Pennsylvania Department of State, saying they have usurped the authority of the legislature by changing voter registration and election rules.

Maybe this one will stick.

Doubtful, was my going in thought.

Standing. Or lack of it.

BTW, there’s no such thing as a massive lawsuit. They are all the same size.

It seems like the word ‘massive’ here is to describe an aspect of a lawsuit.

For example, the aspect could be importance, or number of parties to the lawsuit, or the amount of damages (or other redress) being sought.

So the importance of a lawsuit over a violation of Constitutional rights could be described as ‘massive’ compared to a lawsuit over who is responsible for repairing a crack in the sidewalk in front of one’s house.

A class action lawsuit involving tens of thousands of people seeking damages could be described as ‘massive’ compared to a lawsuit filed by one individual.

Or a lawsuit seeking $100 billion in damages could be described as ‘massive’ compared to a lawsuit seeking $1,000 in damages.

A lawsuit is a lawsuit is a lawsuit, but Shirley the stakes in some lawsuits are more consequential than others.

Sometimes massively so… 😁

I’m wondering if there something else JB can do to threaten Texas without using force, like withholding federal funding for certain programs. I don’t know if that’s legal. If so, then theoretically it could be done to any state that doesn’t abide by JB’s unconstitutional edicts.

“-Use force, or the threat of it, to force Texas law enforcement to assist in the invasion of their state, in front of television cameras for the world to watch.”

There won’t be any U.S. media TV coverage.

He must mean UK news.

Most of the actual news I get about what goes on in America comes from the UK now.

Yes, there is a Daily Mail article about this that explains how things have escalated over the past year:

Texas placed razor wire at Shelby Park in the migrant hot spot of Eagle Pass, Texas for more than a year

Texas escalates feud with federal government, telling ranchers SCOTUS ruling on razor wire not final, offering to give ranchers razor wire as migrants are now sneaking into US through private property
JB wanted the wire removed and started cutting it. Texas objected. SCOTUS allows the feds to cut it for now. Now illegals are avoiding the area and coming across on private land, and Gov. Abbott is saying he will supply razor wire to private property owners. But one of them says it doesn’t stop people. Since this has been brewing and escalating for a while, I’m not sure whether the timing could have been precisely planned. A SCOTUS decision was involved, too.

Deep ditches with rip rock and razor ribbon coils will sure slow ’em down.

Also Independent News sources.

The whole thing seems like it had to be planned. Abbott must have already coordinated with the other governors, and waited for some signal from DJT, which probably wouldn’t be given until DJT was sure he had the nomination wrapped up.

And I think they also waited until now because it will be political suicide for Pedo Brandon and the Magic Kenyan to force the issue in an election year. It has already united 26 states against the rogue regime in 48 hours.

“I’m wondering if there something else JB can do to threaten Texas without using force,”

He could threaten to sniff every man in Texas.

Nobody wants that…

and those pesky hordes of illegals wetbacks and enemy operatives are gonna be real pissed off, too…

gee, the only factions they can align with are (a) the cartels and (b) the militarized Left (Antifa, La Raza et al).

bad press for the sniffy regime, any way you look at it.

but then….that’s cloward-piven for ya.

something else that can be done to threaten Texas…

👉 cartels

Gail Combs

The laws are already in place in the state of Texas to deal with that.

Unlocking Texas’ Castle Law: Know Your Rights & Self-Defense Privileges

…Texas’ Castle Law, also known as the “stand your ground” law or the “castle doctrine, ” is based on the belief that a person has the inherent right to defend themselves and their property against intruders without fear of legal repercussions. The name itself is derived from the idea that “a man’s home is his castle. “

Under this law, individuals residing in or legally occupying a place are given strong legal protections when using force against an assailant who unlawfully enters their home or attempts to commit a forcible felony therein [^1^]. This means that if someone threatens you or breaks into your residence, you have certain rights and privileges that allow for self-defense….

Texas Gun Laws

….In Texas, individuals at least 18 years old can legally purchase and possess a rifle or a shotgun. However, in compliance with federal law, you must be 21 years old to purchase and own a handgun….

This means that if you are a law-abiding citizen, you have the right to own a firearm for personal protection, hunting, or any other lawful purpose.

…under Texas law, a private firearm sale can take place between two individuals without the need for a background check or any official documentation.

This is commonly referred to as a “private sale” or a “gun show loophole.”…

…The open carry of firearms is allowed in Texas with some restrictions. In most situations, individuals who are legally allowed to possess firearms may openly carry handguns and long guns (such as rifles and shotguns) in public places.

However, there are certain places where open carry is prohibited by law, such as schools, polling places, courthouses, and the secure areas of airports….

…Texas has created some of the strongest self-defense and defense of property laws in the country. There is no single law that lays out the castle doctrine. Instead, it is included in the law in several provisions of the Penal Code that govern self-defense and the lawful use of force. The laws allow the justified use of force to protect yourself, others, and 👉even property in certain situations.

Gov. Greg Abbott signs bill making illegal immigration a state crime

The new law would authorize police to arrest people they suspect crossed the Rio Grande between ports of entry. Abbott also signed a bill earmarking more than $1 billion for more border barriers….

Valerie Curren

Michigan’s “castle” laws are, as I understand them, very weak & criminal friendly. Basically you barely have the right to defend your or your loved ones’ lives & virtually no right to protect property. If someone invades your home you are supposed to keep retreating until there is no where else to go & Only if you feel your life threatened are you “allowed” to use force. It’s pathetic & why hubby has a form of gun owner’s insurance w/ lawyers on standby in the event of any type of shooting–spit 😡 Criminals have more rights than law abiding do!

Gail Combs

MIchigan, A CRIMINAL FRIENDLY STATE, which is why the Muzzies are moving in.

Valerie Curren

Technically we’ve had a heavy Arabic population, largest outside of an Arab country, for many decades, including when I was in school in MI 40+ years ago…

“Duty to retreat” laws are a good way to get the innocent killed. If an armed person broke into my home, I would assume they meant harm and were willing to use deadly force, which would justify my own use of deadly force in self defense.

Valerie Curren

Valerie Curren

It’s even more complex–after reading this to my husband–but hard to flesh out. Lots of what ifs & such. It sounds like mega bull crap to me!

and you think, for one minute, the cartels give a damn about Texas laws ?

they fight dirty, real nasty…and they’re armed to the teeth.

you can cite links & laws all day long but the situation there is beyond that.

Gail Combs

I am well aware that the Cartels are BAD NEWS and have been ARMED by the Deep State.

HOWEVER Texans are also armed (Not as well) and if organized CAN protect their land. I think it depends on the county Sheriffs to a large extent as well as other local law enforcement WHO ARE ARMED TO THE TEETH thanks to the DHS.😋

JULY 28, 2022 — The FBI reported that Texans purchased 150,464 guns in JuneTexans purchased more than 1.6 million guns in 2021, about one gun for every 14 adults in the state. LINK

November 14, 2013 DHS Creates New Fusion Centers, Taking Control of Local Police

BUT there is another side to that…

December 2013: Dallas Under Surveillance; DHS Takeover of Law Enforcement Marches On

…From coast to coast, 👉cash-strapped local law-enforcement agencies are taking possession of military-grade weapons, ammunition, and vehicles as part of a DHS program👈 that provides such materiel in return for partnership with the federal government. Technologically advanced surveillance equipment is usually included in the deal, as well.

There are myriad problems with this relationship. First, there is not a syllable of the Constitution granting the federal government authority to provide financial aid to towns or states. Second, history proves that officers will use the combat-capable gear bought for them if they have the chance. Third, and most troubling is the fact that a quasi-military arm of the federal government is using what amounts to little more than bribes to convert local law enforcement into branches of DHS. Police, then, are obliged to heed their federal master’s voice, rather than to protect and serve their fellow citizens….

However we just had four plus years of the DemonRats TARGETING police officers as the lowest scum on earth while Soros funded DAs turn the crooks they catch back out onto the streets.

So we shall see what Abbott are more likely Paxton and Texans are able to do.

It is not as one sides as we think.

you’re getting lost in yr own verbage, no offense.

the question was : what else might be done to threaten Texas.

empowering & giving the green light to the cartels will be one way, and they are quite used to resistance.

you don’t have to waste yr breath explaining to me how Texas might respond…

I did not say the cartels will win.

it remains to be seen what transpires there…and elsewhere.

armed conflict seems imminent but I’m hoping it won’t come to that.

“it is not as one sides as we think.”

I have no idea what yr saying there but I did not suggest any of this is “one-sided”.

plse don’t don’t put more words into it.

Gail Combs

Sorry, I can not type. (Or spell) That was “it is not as one sidesd as we think.”

Whether the Cartel decides to come out in the open to actually battle Texas remains to be seen.

I think it will be fought in the courts.

Major aluminum plant closing down…

A major aluminum plant in southeast Missouri just announced it’s shutting down. This cannot be allowed to happen. The plant accounts for nearly 30% of the nation’s aluminum. It’s vital to national security. President Biden must invoke the Defense Production Act and keep it open

Nice to see the Detroit Lions get an “honorable mention” today. Hubby listens to that 97.1 radio show in the video clip while trucking.

Agree – go Lions! There are four former Tennessee Vols on the Lions roster, though Moseley is out with that ACL tear. Happy for their turnaround after decades of frustration.

Valerie Curren

Who are the 4 TN Volunteers? Hope it’s a good game & of course we’d love to see the Lions go the distance for the first time in the Super Bowl era!

Reeves-Maybin, Sutton, Hooker & Moseley.

When it is time for Hendon Hooker to become QB down the road, I believe you will be very pleased. Great player, even better person.

Love Jack Campbell as a HC.

Valerie Curren

TY for sharing! Dan Campbell as coach is epic–Jack Campbell is a great player though! We love DC too & what’s happening under his watch. He’s a former player & apparently really knows how to relate to & motivate his team. He’s got a Really big pair of brass ones too! Sets off metal detectors across the nation per hubby.

Yeah, meant Dan at HC. Jack is good. Wish Moseley had not been hurt. He had some really good seasons at CB with the 49ers before going to the Lions. They could have used him in the secondary

Last edited 2 months ago by TradeBait2
Valerie Curren

He’s likely doing his part for the other players in that position helping them maximize what they’ve got to work with. It’s gotta be rough for Moseley to be sidelined in this epic run!

It is. He’s had ACL tears in back to back years. Doubt he will be nearly as good as he was even if he comes back.

Saw where Deebo Samuel has been cleared to play for the 49ers, so they will have their hands full

Last edited 2 months ago by TradeBait2
Valerie Curren

Yes it seems that Deebo’s a big factor. Hubby said the spread for betting is the Niners up by 6. That’s a one score spread so basically anybody’s game. Hope Detroit wins & that it’s a good, clean game w/out refs making a difference like how they stole Detroit’s assured victory over Dallas “criminally” 🙁

Even my Dallas supporting friends and family said they stole it.

they used a juvenile knowing he would get light punishment, no bail etc…he drove the car into the bakery so his friends could loot it. then he gets arrested and released–and within hours commits more crimes. he is NOT a juvenile that needs sheltering. stick his butt in jail.

A 13-year-old boy is accused of being behind the wheel of the car that plowed through the front doors of a small bakery in California earlier this month, allowing at least 100 people to ransack the shop during an illegal street takeover.

The 13-year-old boy, whose name wasn’t released because of his age, was one of five people arrested in connection to the looting at Reuben’s Bakery & Mexican Food on Jan. 2, according to KTLA.

Through a search warrant, detectives arrested the juvenile on Jan.12 in Los Angeles.

The teen was charged with burglary, felony vandalism, driving a vehicle without the owner’s consent, and inciting a riot, according to Luna.

He was cited and released to his family with a pending court date.

Hours after being released, the 13-year-old was a part of a string of other burglaries throughout the county with one back in Compton, and another in the city of Carson.

The teen was among a group of four that attempted to rob a 7-Eleven when a Sheriff’s deputy unknowingly walked into the convenience store in the middle of the armed robbery.

The juvenile was arrested and is being held at Juvenile Hall, Luna announced.

The sheriff’s department served three more search warrants Tuesday morning, which resulted in the arrests of four people who have been charged with burglary and possession of stolen property, stemming from the bakery theft.

I’m at a loss to figure out what loot is in a bakery. Sacks of flour and sugar? 50 gallon drums of lard?
