2025.11.25 Daily Thread – American Stories: When in the Course of human events – Part 31

I lead today’s thread with a question, followed by others that are related.

Would you be hard line or reconciliatory with those who worked or fought against you and the colonists in the quest for independence, freedom and liberty? We have seen many examples of each with our Declaration signers. All of it led to differing results, historical significance, and sometimes interesting or unexpected conclusions to their lives.

I ask because we are in a similar war today. It is just as messy as it was then. The enemy has used deception, lies, terrorism, censorship and criminality of every sort instead of frontal, declared war tactics. But it has still been war. Foreign powers have been deeply involved as they were back then. Greed and seeking power has driven much of it just as it has with all wars. The tools that have been utilized against patriots today are somewhat different, but just as effective.

So when, not if, America First MAGA patriots win the current war – will you be reconciliatory toward the past enemy combatants or adamant in their receiving punishment and banishment from society? Which approach do you think #47 and other patriot leaders that follow him will take? What does our founding documents and the law say? What does the overriding will of God found in the Holy Bible say?

For the early Americans it even translated into taking sides using political parties. And here we are some 250 years later still bickering and abusing the American Way through political parties.

Ponder The Future Of America

The patriots of our past were innovative, creative, focused and dedicated. Life was harder then, many did not make it to age 60. So many children and mothers died young. Knowing this they made their days count, unlike many today who pass through their time living in fantasy worlds or shackled with drugs and perversions of the soul. It is a world filled with so much hate, so much stupidity, so much whining, so many petty grievances and making mountains out of molehills for personal gain and power.

VSGPOTUS Trump is working unbelievably hard and having a great time doing it while knowing at any moment there could be a bullet to the back of his head. He can do that because he knows his number of days in this world is in the hands of the Master. Do we have the same understanding in our own? If not, why not? It may be keeping us from fulfilling our God given mission.

Those who know the real me, know that I am a diehard University of Tennessee Vol sports supporter. So forgive me if you need to as I bring you a recent quote from the new head coach of the baseball Vols, Josh Elander, who has replaced who many believe has been the best of all recent college baseball coaches, Tony Vitello. Tony accepted the challenge of being the first college head coach in history without any professional baseball experience to jump from college head coach to manager of a major league team, the San Francisco Giants. His replacement at Tennessee had worked for Tony since their previous stop together at Arkansas, some nine years ago. With other coaches, staff and the administration they built an elite program together from bottom feeder status. Josh turned down several lucrative offers to go somewhere else over the past few years to continue building the Vol program.

Despite having very different personalities, Tony and Josh share a common trait. Josh’s quote from his introductory press conference follows. You may catch a reference to someone from a past BIMD story.

“Nine years ago, I got this job (as an assistant),” said Elander. “Tony called and I went on the road basically immediately. I never went back to the place that I rented in Arkansas. [I was] running around recruiting, doing a bunch of deals.

But when I got here finally for our first visit, we were running a kid around, and there was a welcome packet on my desk. It had a bunch of different things. But the main thing I took out of that, I just took some scissors and cut it out. It was a quote from Pat Summitt. It’s been hanging in my office for nine years — and it ain’t going anywhere. That quote is, ‘Here’s how I’m going to beat you. I’m going to outwork you. That’s it. That’s all there is to it.

We knew Pat. We went to church together for decades. We had other occasions to visit with each other. Pat did what POTUS Trump is doing now, just in her expertise of women’s basketball. She became the face of the sport worldwide. As a result, she improved life for millions of young women over the years that have followed because what she did transferred into every women’s sport at every level as well as life in general. Her next challenge was revealing to the world that she had early onset dementia at the height of her HOF coaching career. This led to her opening up even more of her life and allowing the world in to experience it with her as she set up a foundation for Alzheimer’s treatment and research. She left this world far too soon, but the world was much better for her having been here.

Before she passed away, all of her work and dedication ended up translating into recognition around the world with her receipt of the Presidential Medal of Freedom from Hussein, one of the few things he did honorably. All of it happened because a rural west Tennessee country farm girl loved playing basketball and was willing to out work everybody else as she lived her dream. Tony Vitello and Josh Elander have benefitted from that same Pat approach in their occupations as well. It is a common thread with most people who make a real difference no matter the world’s perceived importance of one’s position in life.

The secret sauce is to have vision and outwork your opposition, whoever and whatever it may be, while thinking outside the box.

Take the blinds off and let your mind run wild with the possibilities that may make a difference in some way, big or small. It is just like the patriots did when the hostilities with the Brits ended 248 years ago. If the hostilities ended…oh wait…could that be another challenge left on the board?

As a current day MAGA patriot what are you doing or going to do with the secret sauce?

The focus now shifts to two little discussed New Jersey signers. Don’t ask me why many historians have slid right by these two.

Abraham Clark

Born in 1726 in Elizabethtown, NJ (now Elizabeth, NJ) to Thomas and Hannah (Winans) Clark as an only child, Abraham Clark was the third generation to reside there on both sides of his family. Both families were prominently involved in the area with over 150 Winans family members buried in the cemetery adjacent to First Presbyterian Church, where they were members. He was educated via tutor in surveying after his father realized he was very good at math. While working as a surveyor he studied law and opened a practice that focused on assisting poor clients. In 1749 he married Sarah Hatfield and they had ten children over the years that followed. While Sarah raised the children on their farm, he entered politics and became a clerk of the Provincial Assembly. He continued clerking for the assembly instead of military service due to his frail physical condition. Later he became the High Sheriff of Essex County and was elected to the Provincial Congress in 1775 as well as serving on the Committee of Public Safety.

New Jersey replaced their representatives to the Continental Congress in early 1776 as the existing reps were opposed to independence. Due to Clark’s strong support for it, he was named as one of the five replacements in June. As they voted in July, he wrote in a letter that, “”It is gone so far, that we must now be a free independent State, or a conquered country.”  He followed that statement later with, “”We can die here but once. Nothing short of the Almighty Power of God can save us.”

He worked to provide supplies to Gen. Washington throughout his time in Congress and during the war. He was notified that his two oldest sons who served in the enlisted military had been captured and were incarcerated in horrible conditions on the prison ship, HMS Jersey. He refused to let others in government know so they would not be given deference over other prisoners. When leadership discovered it they made arrangements to reciprocate better treatment to a handful of captured Brits to assist the Clark situations until their release in a prisoner exchange.

He returned to Congress for two additional, multi-year periods. He was a strong proponent for the common man, the farmers and mechanics in particular. This placed him at odds with those founders who urged deference to public officials. He refused to wear a wig or ruffles on his sleeves as he hated elitism and pretense. He wanted regular citizens to stay involved and let their elected officials know what they wanted done. He pushed a pro-debtor paper money bill through the state legislature in 1788. He ran for U. S. Senate and lost, but followed in 1791 for a U. S. House of Representative seat and won. He was a Whig and had a deep desire to secure personal liberties for citizens. He saw that centralized authority could lead to tyranny.

Clark passed away in 1794 from a sunstroke on his property and is buried in Rahway, NJ. It is said that he became ill, but refused to seek help at home until he took another person who had been working with him home first. His wife, Sarah, passed away ten years later and is buried next to her husband. What a patriot, what a principled man!

Francis Hopkinson

Francis Hopkinson was born in Philadelphia to Thomas and Mary Johnson Hopkinson in 1737. His father died when he was 14, however, his mother directed him to attend the College of Philadelphia (Penn), where he graduated in its first class with a BA degree while earning a MA degree three years later. Before his death his father was instrumental in the chartering of the college and worked with B to get it done. Hopkinson studied and apprenticed in the law under the colony’s AG and was admitted to the Bar a year later in 1761.

He immediately began work as Secretary to the Provincial Council of Pennsylvania Indian Affairs. He worked on numerous treaties during the period. He was not nearly as successful in his law practice and failed at a business venture, so he accepted a position as a Customs Collector in Salem, NJ. Hoping to make more money, he boarded a ship for England in 1766 in an attempt to gain a position as Customs Commissioner for North America, but was also unsuccessful with that despite learning a great deal more about the system. While there he began taking painting lessons under Benjamin West, the American born painter who founded the Royal Academy in England and painted for King George III. Francis returned to the colonies a year later in 1767.

His personal interests were diverse in that he was involved in writing, painting, music, design, politics and the law. He played the harpsichord and the organ. He composed published music of his own as well as copying arias, songs and instrumentals of other famous composers. By 1768 he had met and married Ann Borden, daughter of famous patriot Colonel Joseph Borden and wife, Elizabeth Rogers Borden of Bordentown, NJ. They had nine children together, four of whom died as young children with the rest marrying and having children.

Hopkinson returned to the role of Customs Collector in New Castle, Delaware in 1772. The couple moved to Bordentown two years later and he entered politics as a an Assemblyman in the state’s Provincial Council. He was admitted to the NJ Bar in 1775, resigned all of his British related positions, and was elected as a Delegate to represent NJ in the Second Continental Congress. He voted for independence and became a signer a month later. He left his role in Congress a few months later to return to his law practice and to serve on the Navy Board in Philadelphia. The British attacked areas of NJ during this period and their home was ransacked, however, they were not home at the time and were unharmed.

In 1778 he served as Treasurer of the Continental Loan Office and was later appointed to the Admiralty Court of Pennsylvania for periods from 1779 through 1787. He participated in the development and pushed for the Articles of Confederation as well as later, the Constitution in multiple states. In return for his tireless efforts after George Washington’s Presidential inauguration he was appointed to be U. S .District Court Judge for eastern PA in 1789.

He was long noted for his music, writing and artistic works. He also designed flags as well as seals, many of which were either used or provided as input for the final products chosen by federal entities. He continued to serve in his occupation and community roles until his death in 1791 at age 53 from stroke complications. He is buried in the churchyard of Christ Church in Philadelphia. Ann passed away many years later in 1827 at age 80. She is buried in her native Bordentown.

We are grateful for all of his patriotic and artistic contributions.

Please remember Wolf’s rules for our community. In general that means to be respectful to each other and to pull no shenanigans that your mom might find offensive or otherwise cause jail time. That said, free speech is honored here.

This Thanksgiving holiday weekend, remember the early American settlers and the patriots who followed that led to America’s existence as the greatest nation on earth. Thank the Lord that He saw fit to permit this great experiment in liberty and freedom to be conducted in His creation. Then go have some fun and love on your families and friends in celebration!

YUM!

Be blessed and go make something good happen!

Dear KMAG: 20251124 Trump Won Three Times ❀ Open Topic

Joe Biden never won. This is our Real President – 45, 46, 47.

AND our beautiful REALFLOTUS.

This Stormwatch Monday Open Thread remains open – VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA/KAG/KMAG world (with KMAG being a bit of both).

And yes, it’s Monday…again.

But we WILL get through it!

We will always remember Wheatie,

Pray for Trump,

Yet have fun,

and HOLD ON when things get crazy!

We will follow the RULES of civility that Wheatie left for us:

Wheatie’s Rules:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

And while we engage in vigorous free speech, we will remember Wheatie’s advice on civility, non-violence, and site unity:

“We’re on the same side here so let’s not engage in friendly fire.”

“Let’s not give the odious Internet Censors a reason to shut down this precious haven that Wolf has created for us.”

If this site gets shut down, please remember various ways to get back in touch with the rest of the gang:

Our beloved country is under Occupation by hostile forces.

Daily outrage and epic phuckery abound.

We can give in to despair…or we can be defiant and fight back in any way that we can.

Joe Biden didn’t win.

And we will keep saying Joe Biden didn’t win until we get His Fraudulency out of our White House.

Wolfie’s Wheatie’s Word of the Week:

phengophobia

noun

  • fear of daylight
  • fear of the sun, or of sunlight

Used in a sentence

I was unsure if the “g” in phengophobia is voiced as phen-go-phobia rather than pheng-o-phobia.

Shown in a picture

Shades of Olive Green

After this video, you may have fear of Sunlight, too!

MUSIC!

A surprisingly enjoyable song – and probably not AI.

THE STUFF

Watching Democrats side with cartels and drug traffickers is quite instructive.

Just read this Wikipedia coverage (clearly sympathetic with the Democrats, the cartels, and the drug traffickers) to get an idea how bad these people are.

On this day and every day –

God is in Control
. . . and His Grace is Sufficient, so . . .
Keep Looking Up

Hopefully, every Sunday, we can find something here that will build us up a little . . . give us a smile . . . and add some joy or peace, very much needed in all our lives.

“This day is holy to the Lord your God;
do not mourn nor weep.” . . .
“Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet,
and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared;
for this day is holy to our Lord.
Do not sorrow,
for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

The Great Falling Away

Paul wrote 2 Thessalonians, in part, to offer a clarification after some of his readers misunderstood that the day of the Lord was upon them already (2 Thessalonians 2:1–2). Part of that clarification includes a statement that many have interpreted as predicting a great rebellion before Christ returns. Second Thessalonians 2:3 says this: “Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition” (NKJV).

In his first letter to the Thessalonians, Paul commended the believers for their faith, hope, and love (2 Thessalonians 1:2–3) and challenged them to excel still more (1 Thessalonians 4:1, 10). One area in which Paul encouraged them to grow was in their hope. To help with that, Paul taught them about the resurrection that will occur when the Lord meets believers in the clouds and the dead in Christ are raised (1 Thessalonians 4:13–17). This event, often referred to as the rapture, allows believers to grieve in a way consistent with their hope.

After the rapture, Paul explains, the day of the Lord will come. It will be a time of great difficulty for those who remain on earth in those days (1 Thessalonians 5:2–3). Paul explains that that day would not overtake believers (1 Thessalonians 5:4) and that God has not destined believers for wrath (1 Thessalonians 5:9). However, because of the shortness of the time, the Thessalonians needed to make the most of their opportunity, being awake and sober (1 Thessalonians 5:6–8).

It is evident that the Thessalonians misunderstood the timing of the day of the Lord, as some thought that the day of the Lord had come upon them (2 Thessalonians 2:1–2). Paul explains that the day of the Lord had not yet come and that it would not come until some things happened first. One of those events preceding the day of the Lord would be the revealing of the man of lawlessness (2 Thessalonians 2:3). Also, Paul says, the “falling away” or “apostasy” (NASB) would come before the day of the Lord. Many have understood from this statement that before Christ returns many people will reject the faith and rebel against God.

Paul uses the Greek word apostasia in 2 Thessalonians 2:3, so “apostasy” is a good, literal translation. The Greek word means “to be apart from or to stand apart from.” Paul uses the same word in 1 Timothy 4 when he explains that in the last days people will stand apart from (or fall away from) the faith and follow various kinds of falsehood (1 Timothy 4:1–3). So, there will be a standing apart from the faith or a great falling away before Christ returns. Wickedness will grow worse and worse (2 Timothy 3:13).

But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. 2 Timothy 3:1-5

They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.” Luke 12:53

And brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death. Matthew 13:12

And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. Matthew 24:10

Articles.

Placing the wisdom to own metals, aside, for a moment.  Discussed many months, perhaps a year ago.

How or where to hold the metals comes with a few choices.  Three of them are:

  1. Hold physical metals at home, bank safe deposit box…
  2. Pay someone to hold (safekeep) owned metals.  (Trust someone you’ve never met)
  3. Or, essentially have a piece of paper, saying the purchaser owns, or is owed  XX amount of metal, gold, silver, etc.

Two and three, IMO, obviously recipes for FAILURE.  There is no guarantee, metal will be provided, “on demand”.

Whether the metals “physical issue on demand” is based in London, the US, or anywhere, really does not matter.  The concept is FUBAR from its inception.  MeThinks.

Silver Market Troubles – LBMA, Backwardation & More

Silver Shortage of Physical, China Refining Dominance, LBMA issues

LBMA is the London Bullion Market Association. A private marketplace where folks can trade silver and gold.

They had a little bit of a problem. more people that expected wanted physical delivery of metal, and their vaults didn’t have enough. 54 million ounces were shipped in from China as a kind of a cope…

There’s Billions of ounces being traded against Millions of inventory. Most folks are doing cash settlement, but… it doesn’t take much of a “glitch” of extra folks choosing “delivery” for things to go sideways fast.

In other news: COMEX Commodities Exchange does a lot of futures and options contracts. As of now, the SPOT price (for “right now on the spot!”) is higher than the price in futures contracts. This is backwards from The Usual expected state (contango) which it ought to be. Why? Because to guarantee delivery at a future time, somebody has to hold the commodity in inventory, which has a cost, and must have money tied up in that inventory, which means not getting the bank interest you could get by leaving the money in the bank.

N-Acetylcysteine (NAC)

NAC was posted numerous times during Covid AND, IIRC, post JAB use.

NAC, Migraines, Inflamation & 2 “testimonials”

Posted on 20 November 2025 by E.M.Smith

NAC appears to work for Migraine mitigation and inflammatory problems

The spouse, her twin, and a couple of their kids all have had migraine issues from time to time. They have since abated even if not totally gone ( the son used Imatrix to good effect, IIRC).

In the video below, the presenter says that use of NAC Suppliment helped her reduce her migraine frequency a lot, in conjunction with some other dietary suppliments.

In addition to that “testimonial”, the spouse has had significant effect on some inflammatory issues she is dealing with (joint pains & arthritis mostly).

I’ve not noticed as much, partly because I don’t have as much of an issue I think…, but it has improved “mood” and overall energy levels (very subjective, I know).

There are also a lot of medical studies to back up the positive effects in a variety of illnesses as an adjunct.

Davos assured Trump ‘woke’ topics were off the agenda

US officials told organisers that President’s attendance in January depended on programme.

Washington announced last week Trump would return to the Swiss event in person for the first time in six years. His last appearance was a virtual address days after his inauguration in January, when he called on the gathered business elite to make their products in the US or face tariffs.

Senior US officials asked Davos management to tone down or avoid discussions on areas including female empowerment and diversity, the green transition, climate change and international development finance as a condition of his participation, two of the people said.

Somehow.  Some way.  These six assholes need to be held accountable, for sowing seeds of unrest in the military.

NOT following orders, saying they are illegal, is a great way to end upin the brig, Court martial, Dishonorable Discharge…LIFE RUINED.

SEDITIOUS. President Trump has never issued a single illegal order. The Democrats know exactly what they’re doing – and they’re doing it anyway.

American Stinker.

Service members, don’t take the bait

Six Democrats in a YouTube video have urged military members to refuse illegal orders!

Military career suicide

The posting advises military members to go ahead and decide their own law.  If you feel that something is unjust, if you believe that some order conflicts with the Constitution, take it upon yourself to commit a crime under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ).

Article 92 of the UCMJ criminalizes “failure to obey an order or regulation.”  This congressional advice is unconscionable.  These six Democrats failed to mention the disastrous life impact upon any service member who may choose to follow it.

Let me provide any tempted service members a little supplemental information.  I reviewed hundreds of court-martial records as a military JAG officer.  All orders from a superior are legally presumed to be lawful.  Your opinion about whether an order is legal is irrelevant.  If you defy them, you go to the brig and await trial.  Your command may instead opt to simply administratively separate (“AdSep”) you for misconduct for the convenience of the government.

One more on the sixtraitorous Dumrats AND legal / illegal orders.

Publius.

RE: Lawful Orders

Many years ago as a young Army captain I was fortunate enough to serve as an intern on the Joint Staff (i.e., the staff that supports the Joint Chiefs of Staff).

One of the duties all Joint Staff interns routinely had was to be a “rent-a-crowd” for VIPs giving speeches.

One day me and my buddy Werner got the order to put on our Class A uniforms and head over to Fort McNair to hear a speech by President Bill Clinton.

Little did we know that we were about to hear the historic “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” speech allowing gays in the military.

I was literally in the second row in the auditorium. David Gergen and George Stephanopoulos were in the front row right in front of me. Before the speech started, the two of them were laughing and cackling like school girls over how successful they had been at setting up the imaging they wanted.

That imaging was Slick Willie at the podium with the Joint Chiefs of Staff sitting behind him, as if they supported what he was about to say.

I was about twenty feet from General Carl Mundy, who was then the Commandant of the Marine Corps. As Clinton started giving the speech that would begin the U.S. military’s death spiral into social experimentation that valued DEI over lethality, my eyes were riveted on Mundy. He sat perfectly motionless in his chair, legs spread, hands on knees, with a look on his face that said “Daggers.” He was apparently frozen and motionless. However, I was close enough to see that he was actually flexing his jaw muscles and gritting his teeth repeatedly as he endured Clinton’s speech.

His anger was palpable. He had been on record as strongly opposing the new policy, and it was obvious he was doing everything he could to control his emotions.

But you know what? As badly as Mundy obviously hated what Clinton was doing to his Marine Corps, he knew that Clinton’s order was lawful. While he hated it politically, he did not pretend the order was “unlawful.”

But not just Mundy.

ALL OF US hated the order politically and socially, but all of us knew it was a lawful order coming from the President and that it was our Constitutional duty to execute that order to the best of our abilities, enthusiastically.

So we did.

But somewhere along the way today’s cretinous veteran Democrats in Congress decided that they would no longer do the right thing that we and Mundy did.

They decided that lawful orders are “unlawful” if they disagree politically.

Now they are destroying our military and our nation out of sheer disloyal, treasonous ego.

Pretending that lawful orders are “unlawful” if you disagree politically is not the role of a U.S. service member who follows his or her oath of office.

Encouraging troops to take such steps is sedition.

Democrats need to step back and remember what General Carl Mundy knew before they start their second U.S. civil war.

Back off, traitors.

Power the Future chief Daniel Turner slammed congressman for praising Chinese delegation’s pavilion at the confab

The White House dubbed Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse a scam victim after he publicly complained the Trump administration would not fund or support his junket to the COP30 climate change conference in Belém, Brazil this week.

The Trump administration largely ignored the confab of global climate change leaders; a stark contrast to former President Joe Biden sending Clinton confidant John Podesta to lead a substantial U.S. delegation to COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan in 2024.

“Sadly, Senator Whitehouse has fallen victim to the biggest scam of the century: the Green New Scam,” White House spokeswoman Taylor Rogers said of Whitehouse, D-R.I.

“The senator can foolishly spend time and money attending this radical ‘climate’ conference, but the Trump administration refuses to waste taxpayer dollars.”

Health Friday is a series devoted to Big Pharma, vaccines, general health, and associated topics. As today’s offering speaks to the disaster of COVID-19, Yours Truly dedicates it to all persons, of whatever age or location, who have passed away from either the negative effects of a COVID-19 virus infection; or, from the negative effects of the COVID-19 “vaccines” that they had in their body.

There are Important Notifications from our host, Wolf Moon; the Rules of our late, good Wheatie; and, certain caveats from Yours Truly, of which readers should be aware. They are linked here. Note: Yours Truly has checked today’s offering for AI-generated content. To the best of her knowledge and belief, there is none, except perhaps for AI-generated images within linked URLs. Three:

A new study, by Alain R. Thierry, et al., reveals that 100% of COVID-19 “vaccinated” persons have microclots in their blood; and, that COVID-19 “vaccinated” persons who present with symptoms of “Long COVID” also have microclots: https://www.thefocalpoints.com/p/breaking-study-anomalous-amyloid, “Breaking Study: Anomalous Amyloid Microclots Found in 100% of the COVID-19 Vaccinated”, Nicolas Hulscher, 17 November 2025. Please see the screenshots from this article, below:

The scientific paper referred to in the Hulscher article is here: https://doi.org/10.1002/jmv.70613, “Circulating Microclots Are Structurally Associated With Neutraphil Extracurricular Traps and Their Amounts Are Elevated in Long COVID Patients”, Alain R. Thierry, et al., 2 October 2025. Note the use of the word, “circulating.” This means that the microclots in the blood of the COVID-19 “vaccinated” persons are moving around inside the body. The Abstract from this paper is below:

The COVID-19 “vaccines” — all of them — if, for no other reason, must be immediately removed from use, from the market, and removed from any immunization schedule (especially the Immunization Schedules of the CDC), because of the evidence presented in the Thierry, et al., paper regarding circulating microclots in the blood of COVID-19 “vaccinated” persons, and in the blood of COVID-19 “vaccinated” persons who present with symptoms of “Long COVID.” There is no other acceptable option at this point.

THERE. MUST. BE. ACCOUNTABILITY.

THERE. MUST. BE. JUSTICE.

THERE. MUST. BE. TRUTH.

Dear MAGA: 20251120 ✾ Thank God ± Theistic Evolution ∈ Thursday Open Topic

This man, making Christmas calls from the White House, believes the world is a sphere. And he has even flown around it! So has our beautiful FLOTUS, who happens to be his wife!

Truth and common sense must be valued by us, as individuals, in order to lastingly disempower the authoritarian fake news media. This includes the perniciously smarmy science media, which never answers for its errors and lies. I believe that the media has been responsible not only for leftist pathologies like scientism, medical fascism, and radical gender ideology, but also for reactionary movements like modern flat Earth, rejection of all medicine, and Biblical geological literalism.

Just as Wheatie’s Stormwatch Monday Open Thread was created as a place for people to openly express their thoughts and opinions, so, too, is this Thank God Thursday Open Thread, where honest but civil discussion of all topics is encouraged. This thread is also to be known as Theistic Evolution Thursdays, due to the author’s expected “pontification” about his scientific, religious, and political opinions. You are welcome to pontificate back! Free speech matters!

Please label all AI-generated content as being such, unless it is patently obvious (e.g., humorous AI images). It is important that we as individuals not begin to pretend that socially derived artificial intelligence is actually our own, as this form of stealthy social information averaging and feedback would be one more pretense and deception between people, in service of stupid Marxist socialism, and of those who wish to substitute their communally protected lies for actual truth.

The source of alleged truth matters, not for the truth itself, but for validation.

And yes, it’s THURSDAY…again.

And that’s it. We’re done stealing from Wheatie.

OK – maybe her rules need to be posted.

  • No food fights.
  • No running with scissors.
  • If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

Other rules may be derivable from these, and that conjecture is left for discussion.

If there is nothing beyond the “W” below, then this is a placeholder. For health reasons, I can’t always post a timely opinion before each Thursday, but I will try. Otherwise, you have this placeholder post, where YOU provide the content. Enjoy!

(2) More Titan submersible “doom porn” – this time with an annoying Indian American smart girl twist that manages to (at the end) badly attack Elon Musk for MDS attagrlz. Nevertheless, the Titan data is good, and worth the watch time.

(3) A different kind of doom porn – about “backwards life” – that is worth watching and thinking about – especially about why this particular take is probably WRONG. There are not only theological reasons – the scientific reasons are significant.

My bottom line – “loss of function” research is still possible, useful, and will almost certainly show that “nature” (COUGH) got there already. Nonetheless, a good warning, and I agree that no form of highly divergent “synthetic life” should be created, now or in the foreseeable future. Call it “due diligence”!

CONSENT DECREES

US federal court terminates Republican-Democrat consent decree

The original consent decree was adopted in 1982 after the Democratic National Committee (DNC) [political website] brought suit [complaint, PDF] against the RNC, its New Jersey affiliate and several individual officers seeking to prevent them from “engaging in activities to intimidate, threaten or coerce minority voters.” The DNC alleged that the RNC had engaged in “voter caging” [Brennan Center materials] in New Jersey, wherein mail returned as undeliverable is used as a basis for purging voting rolls.

A US federal judge on Monday terminated [order, PDF] a consent decree [text, PDF] requiring the Republican National Committee (RNC) [political website] to get court approval for any “ballot security” measures it planned to implement

The original judge came out of retirement to renew the Consent Decree every time it was set to expire until he finally died (IRC.) The new judge was an Obama appointee. FWIW The Black Panther party was active from 1966 to 1982 BTW.

WIKI — New Black Panther Party voter intimidation case

The New Black Panther Party voter intimidation case was a political controversy in the United States concerning an incident that occurred during the 2008 election. Two weeks before George W. Bush left office, the New Black Panther Party and two of its members, Minister King Samir Shabazz and Jerry Jackson, were sued by the Department of Justice on claims of voter intimidation for their conduct outside a polling station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Politico — Judge ends consent decree limiting RNC ‘ballot security Measures

Although the decree technically permitted the RNC to engage in some Election Day activities at the polls and to seek advance permission for so-called “ballot security” work, the national party and its attorneys went to considerable lengths in recent years to urge national party officials and staff to steer clear of such activity, in part to avoid triggering allegations that could lead the consent decree to be extended

So for thirty-five years the Democrats could cheat to their heart’s content without a challenge from the Republicans. No wonder they have such well developed cheating organizations.

ILLEGALS & DEPORTATION

https://twitter.com/Real_RobN/status/1990127921001075073

WordPiss will not allow that tweet to show, so here is the text.

One of the greatest crimes ever perpetrated in United States history against the American people:

Former U.S. Border Chief Aaron Heitke, who served under five different administrations,

CONFIRMS— BEYOND THE SHADOW OF A DOUBT — that he was ordered by the Biden–Harris administration to cover up, conceal, and manipulate data on the border crisis; to deliberately decrease the amount of detention space nationwide; to issue new Social Security numbers to illegal aliens; to provide them with maximum Social Security benefits and Medicaid; to register them to vote; and, in fact, to allow them to vote in U.S. elections.

Border Chief Aaron Heitke:

“We have no idea who or what is coming through our country.”

— Regarding SIAs:

“Special Interest Aliens (SIAs) and known and suspected terrorists… At the time, I was told I could not release any information on this increase in SIAs or mention any of the arrests. The administration was trying to convince the public there was no threat at the border.”

— FENTANYL

“San Diego sees between 80% and 90% of the methamphetamine and fentanyl seizures annually for our entire country. With little enforcement at the border, these drugs were coming through in mass. During my last year in San Diego, the price for a single pill of fentanyl went from $10 to 25 cents.”

— FUNDING

“To make matters worse, during 2022 and 2023 I had to shut down San Diego traffic checkpoints—which are critical for drug interdiction—because the resources had been diverted to the process and release mission.”

— THE COVER-UP

“I had to release illegal aliens each day into communities that could not support them.

To quiet the problem, two flights a week were provided from San Diego to Texas.

Each flight cost approximately $150,000. This was the administration’s way of trying to quiet the border crisis.”

“Under pressure from the administration, my headquarters became more interested in the fiction being portrayed in the media, and not at all concerned with reality. We had 2,000 or more illegal aliens sitting between the fences, asking to turn themselves in.

I WAS TOLD TO MOVE THEM OUT OF SIGHT OF THE MEDIA.”

— CONCLUSION:

The Biden–Harris administration wasn’t just an unelected, illegitimate administration, but a terrorist organization.

Federal Judge Extends Consent Decree Prohibiting ICE From Arresting People Without Warrants or Probable Cause – National Immigrant Justice Center

October 10, 2025 – A federal judge ruled that the … officers’ ability to arrest people without warrants or probable cause, will be extended until February 2, 2026….

This is NATION WIDE BTW!

A bit of background.

Castañon Nava v. Department of Homeland Security | ACLU of Illinois

On December 1, 2021, a federal judge granted preliminary approval to a settlement agreement between our clients and the Department of Homeland Security. The judge granted final approval of the settlement agreement, making it a consent decree…

On December 1, 2021, a federal judge granted preliminary approval to a settlement agreement between our clients and the Department of Homeland Security. The judge granted final approval of the settlement agreement, making it a consent decree in February 2022.

Among other terms, the consent decree requires ICE to adopt a nationwide policy barring many vehicle stops and warrantless, “collateral” arrests, and provides us a way to advocate for ICE detainees who are arrested without warrants in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Missouri, Kansas, or Kentucky to challenge detentions that violate the agreement.

In March 2025, with NIJC on behalf of ICIRR and OCAD, we filed an enforcement motion because Defendants had wrongfully arrested at least 22 class members, all Latino immigrants, in Chicago and Liberty, Missouri. We told the court that ICE agents regularly carried blank warrants and filled them out only after detaining someone. In May, we also filed a motion asking the court to extend the decree in light of repeated violations by ICE in the wake of new federal civil immigration enforcement. In September, we filed two notices of 30 more violations of the decree – warrantless arrests of Latino immigrants as part of ICE’s Operation Midway Blitz. On October 7, 2025, a federal court judge granted our motion to enforce the decree and extended the decree until February 2, 2026.

The judge’s ruling requires ICE to reissue its Broadcast Policy on Warrantless Arrests nationwide and produce any information for people arrested in the Chicagoland area since June 2025 so that we can assess if ICE violated the consent decree. The order requires ICE to meet with us about violations of the decree to resolve them, and remedies can include the release of individuals from detention….

ACLU of Illinois

The ACLU then calls for people to forward their complaints about ICE to them. I wonder how long the ACLU can keep ICE hogtied — Decades?

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Frequently Asked Questions

Why does ICE arrest people, and do they need a warrant?

ICE officers and agents are on the streets every day, prioritizing public safety by locating, arresting and removing criminal aliens and immigration violators from our neighborhoods.

ICE does not need judicial warrants to make arrests. Like all other law enforcement officers, ICE officers and agents can initiate consensual encounters and speak with people, briefly detain aliens when they have reasonable suspicion that the aliens are illegally present in the United States, and arrest people they believe are illegal aliens. ICE officers and agents can also detain and search people crossing the border.

All aliens who violate U.S. immigration law are subject to arrest and detention, regardless of their criminal histories. Those with final orders of removal are removed from the United States.

Do ICE officials need to show warrants to the public?

ICE law enforcement officers cannot show the warrants they are executing to people who aren’t named or involved. Often, law enforcement sensitivities and privacy concerns require officials to keep this information under wraps.

If you’re looking for specific information, you may make a Freedom of Information Act request.

There is a lot more info at that website.

I left out a lot of that law but you get the idea.

8 U.S. Code § 1357 – Powers of immigration officers and employees

(a) Powers without warrant

Any officer or employee of the Service authorized under regulations prescribed by the Attorney General shall have power without warrant—

(1) to interrogate any alien or person believed to be an alien as to his right to be or to remain in the United States;

(2) to arrest any alien who in his presence or view is entering or attempting to enter the United States in violation of any law or regulation made in pursuance of law regulating the admission, exclusion, expulsion, or removal of aliens, or to arrest any alien in the United States, if he has reason to believe that the alien so arrested is in the United States in violation of any such law or regulation and is likely to escape before a warrant can be obtained for his arrest, but the alien arrested shall be taken without unnecessary delay for examination before an officer of the Service having authority to examine aliens as to their right to enter or remain in the United States;

(3) within a reasonable distance from any external boundary of the United States, to board and search for aliens any vessel within the territorial waters of the United States and any railway car, aircraft, conveyance, or vehicle, and within a distance of twenty-five miles from any such external boundary to have access to private lands, but not dwellings, for the purpose of patrolling the border to prevent the illegal entry of aliens into the United States;

(4) to make arrests for felonies which have been committed and which are cognizable under any law of the United States regulating the admission, exclusion, expulsion, or removal of aliens, if he has reason to believe that the person so arrested is guilty of such felony and if there is likelihood of the person escaping before a warrant can be obtained for his arrest, but the person arrested shall be taken without unnecessary delay before the nearest available officer empowered to commit persons charged with offenses against the laws of the United States; and

(5)to make arrests—

(A) for any offense against the United States, if the offense is committed in the officer’s or employee’s presence, or

(B) for any felony cognizable under the laws of the United States, if the officer or employee has reasonable grounds to believe that the person to be arrested has committed or is committing such a felony,

if the officer or employee is performing duties relating to the enforcement of the immigration laws at the time of the arrest and if there is a likelihood of the person escaping before a warrant can be obtained for his arrest….

There is a lot more to that law too.

I find it AMAZING how a judge can re-write a law that is passed by congress. ALSO NOTE it was the BIDEN ICE that consented to this travesty.

and

Control by the Food Cartel Companies: Profiles and Histories

Here are strategic profiles of 11 of the principal companies that constitute the Anglo-Dutch-Swiss food cartel. The profiles confirm that through multiple forms of concentration, these companies dominate grain, meat, dairy, and other food production, and the processing and distribution system of food, all the way to the supermarket. Very little food moves on the face of the earth without the food cartel having a hand in it….

2023 – Report details how a handful of Corporations are taking Control of the World’s Food Supply.

A report published at the end of 2022 by The ETC Group reveals how a handful of corporations with the help of Big Tech are taking over the world’s food supply…

The findings show that many agrifood sectors are now so “top-heavy” they are controlled by just four to six dominant firms, enabling these companies to wield enormous influence over markets, agricultural research and policy development, which undermines food sovereignty…

This is the reason why billionaire technocrats, such as Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos, are now among the largest owners of farmland in the United States…

….

DO NOT FORGET BIO-FUEL!

Remember, farm subsidies go to GRAIN farmers, not to those growing veggies and fruit.

THIS WAS THE SET-UP

Amstutz was VP of Cargill. He wrote the WTO Agreement on Ag in 1995. Even Clinton admitted that agreement lead to starvation and riots of 2008.

https://web.archive.org/web/20110112203717/http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/nationworld/2008303122_apununfoodcrisis.html

Amstutz then wrote the Freedom to Farm act in 1996. This law was later called the Freedom to Fail act as US farmers over produced and grain prices dropped like a rock. Grain traders used the surplus of very cheap grain to bankrupt farmers around the world. This was actually a KNOWN US policy as Clinton has just admitted.

Amstutz was also responsible for wiping out the US grain reserve system. How to fight a food crisis: To blunt the ravages of drought and market greed, we need a national grain reserve… the 1996 Freedom to Farm Act abolished our national system of holding grain in reserve.

https://www.latimes.com/opinion/la-xpm-2012-sep-21-la-oe-kaufman-food-hunger-drought-20120921-story.html

Amstutz then went to work for Goldman Sachs. This has always puzzled me until I finally ran across the last piece of the puzzle.

That is where things get really interesting. This is stolen from WANTtoKNOW. Info: Excerpts of Key Financial News Articles in Major Media

he first articles states: Commodity Futures Trading Commission judge says colleague biased against complainants

…Painter [head of the USDA Workers Union] said Judge Bruce Levine … had a secret agreement with a former Republican chairwoman of the agency to stand in the way of investors filing complaints with the agency. “On Judge Levine’s first week on the job, nearly twenty years ago, he came into my office and stated that he had promised Wendy Gramm, then Chairwoman of the Commission, that we would never rule in a complainant’s favor,” Painter wrote. “A review of his rulings will confirm that he fulfilled his vow….

Levine had never ruled in favor of an investor. Gramm [wife of former senator Phil Gramm (R-Tex.)], was head of the CFTC just before president Bill Clinton took office. She has been criticized by Democrats for helping firms such as Goldman Sachs and Enron gain influence over the commodity [Farm Products] markets. After leaving the CFTC, she joined Enron’s board.

NOW we know WHY Goldman Sachs hired Dan Amstutz!

The second Article states: How Goldman gambled on starvation

This is the story of how some of the richest people in the world – Goldman, Deutsche Bank, the traders at Merrill Lynch, and more – have caused the starvation of some of the poorest people in the world. At the end of 2006, food prices across the world started to rise, suddenly and stratospherically. Within a year, the price of wheat had shot up by 80 per cent, maize by 90 per cent, rice by 320 per cent. In a global jolt of hunger, 200 million people – mostly children – couldn’t afford to get food any more, and sank into malnutrition or starvation. There were riots in more than 30 countries, and at least one government was violently overthrown. Then, in spring 2008, prices just as mysteriously fell back to their previous level. Jean Ziegler, the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food, calls it “a silent mass murder”, entirely due to “man-made actions.” Through the 1990s, Goldman Sachs and others lobbied hard and the regulations [controlling agricultural futures contracts] were abolished. Suddenly, these contracts were turned into “derivatives” that could be bought and sold among traders who had nothing to do with agriculture. A market in “food speculation” was born. The speculators drove the price through the roof.

Here is the real attitude of these sons of syphilitic jackals:

In summary, we have record low grain inventories globally as we move into a new crop year. We have demand growing strongly. Which means that going forward even small crop failures are going to drive grain prices to record levels. As an investor, we continue to find these long term trends…very attractive.” — Food shortfalls predicted: 2008 www.financialsense.com/fsu/editorials/dancy/2008/0104.html

….

Recently there have been increased calls for the development of a U.S. or international grain reserve to provide priority access to food supplies for Humanitarian needs. The National Grain and Feed Association (NGFA) and the North American Export Grain Association (NAEGA) strongly advise against this concept..Stock reserves have a documented depressing effect on prices… and resulted in less aggressive market bidding for the grains.” — July 22, 2008 letter to President Bush www.naega.org/images/pdf/grain_reserves_for_food_aid.pdf

Dan Amstutz was president of the North American Export Grain Association. They even named an award after the B@$t@rd!

Biofuel starvation wasn’t “unforeseen consequences”

The U.S. corn crop, accounting for 40 percent of the global harvest and supplying nearly 70 percent of the world’s corn imports…

Congress required that biofuel use increase five times…

wheat prices have tripled, corn prices doubled and rice prices nearly doubled…

…. there were real warnings about possible starvation as a consequence of the law Sarasohn refers to
Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007

To add insult to injury Congress did not even see if biofuel actually saves on the use of oil. It does not! David Pimentel, professor of ecology and agriculture at Cornell found it takes more fossil fuel to produce biofuel than is recovered:

* corn requires 29 percent more fossil energy than the fuel produced;

* switch grass requires 45 percent more fossil energy than the fuel produced; and

* wood biomass requires 57 percent more fossil energy than the fuel produced.

* soybean plants requires 27 percent more fossil energy than the fuel produced, and

* sunflower plants requires 118 percent more fossil energy than the fuel produced.

2025.11.18 Daily Thread – American Stories: When in the Course of human events – Part 30

First, a short update on Bud is in order. Robotic resection surgery on 10/6 to remove 10″ of his colon that had turned to nearly concrete to starting back to work a little more than two weeks later with all systems go other than heaving lifting restriction. His surgeon found his recovery remarkable. Knowing that prayer warriors had been called in to do battle, Bud was not surprised and is very grateful to the Lord and all who offered prayers on his behalf. Thank you, QTree.

Let’s go with some ground report observations from the lowcountry during our fall frolic.

Less hispanic peoples were present, probably due to ICE presence. Per the locals, those from that background who were still there are probably legal; either on worker visas or citizens. I had my doubts with some as they acted evasive, albeit a MUCH smaller number than in the past. ICE has been busy in the lowcountry and moved more of their efforts further south recently. Like other places, no overcrowding in local schools now. If they register for school their parents and guardians are checked out.

Local crime is WAY down. Imagine that. Who da thunk exiting illegals along with a more visible law enforcement presence could have changed life that dramatically that fast? Well, actually, all of us real Americans. Add in taking out the trade routes of the cartels and things seemed, well, nice. Could it be that those 1000+ police departments and sheriff’s offices that have signed or intend to sign the agreement to be authorized to perform ICE duties are also interested in doing the other aspects of their jobs well? Sure appears that way. Inquiring minds only need to check to see if the local law enforcement agencies in their home areas have executed the agreement to know where things stand. If not, why not? You know the enemy by simply observing. Do not be deceived – they always self identify.

Overall, people were more friendly again. It even FELT safer to be out and about. The PDT effect is special. 👍

No masks. None. Even with COVID and flu around.

The No Kings rally was non-existent around there and a leftist boomer snoozefest in other lowcountry areas such as Savannah and Charleston. They might as well have been palmetto trees for all normal people cared. The local media tried ginning up interest with no takers apparently. The following day they never even mentioned it.

Staffing was down in restaurants and retail establishments, however, those who were there from all backgrounds and cultures were good and efficient everywhere we went. Food quality was off the charts good. The menu prices were actually down from last fall. Managers visited tables, asked about the meals, and thanked people for coming in; which was a nice turn of events. With no taxes on tips, the 5% discount option for paying bills in cash that had been available had gone away. Good servers can now make a living at the occupation regardless of tips in cash or on a credit card due to the tax law changes. Farm to table has been growing and was big around there due to the longer agricultural seasons as well as minimal storm disruptions for the seafood. It is all really working well now. Waygu beef grown on southeastern/midwestern farms is on many of the menus.

Triple tail, redfish, flounder, red snapper, sheepshead, grouper, swordfish and mahi were the orders of the day along with the Carolina shrimp, oysters and blue crab. The month of November kicked off a number of oyster fest events throughout the lowcountry.

Starting to see some development projects again, primarily residential. Commercial real estate development and occupancy was still soft. Some vacant storefronts, a number of which have been empty for a year or longer. Some of that is related to the increase in web shopping. Overall these long term vacancies will bring rental rates down.

Grocery prices were down from the past couple of years. Two dozen large eggs were $4.40 approx at Sam’s (now under $4). A lot of product price reductions and sales on aisles at Walmart, Krogers and Publix. Fuel was around $2.60 – 2.85 per gallon.

Drivers were stupid bad on the interstates and highways around there. Many had death wishes for themselves and others. Many more wrecks than in the past. Probably the effects of the jabs is part of it. However, the volume of local traffic was a lot less than previous years after the fall break kids and their families went home. At times it became so light that we thought we went back to the future.

Mild and temperate again for that time of year, which made beach conditions ideal. By comparison it had become very hot over the past couple of decades. Somehow most of the Atlantic storms miraculously turned northeast into the middle of the Atlantic this season. It’s a miracle!

😀

Our lodging had the pleasure of being beside a lowcountry thicket that ushered deer past our windows most mornings and evenings. Momma deer and I had several rendezvous in the mornings as I ventured out to our vehicle or returned to the villa. She seemed unconcerned with my presence even with her babies nearby. Then there was the young alligator who wandered from a pond to within about ten feet of Daughter and family on its way into another thicket at one of the miniature golf establishments. The grandsons loved it. Their Mom and Dad were not quite as enthralled.

Time to finish the SC signers.

Arthur Middleton

Our last signer from South Carolina was born in Charleston in 1742. Arthur Middleton was born and bred as a proper Englishman to parents Henry Middleton and Mary Baker Williams. The family members were wealthy owners of a large homestead along with 19 other plantations totaling over 50,000 acres with over 800 slaves. As time passed Henry embraced independence due to British taxation policies. Beginning in 1770 he increased his participation in the independence movement, resigning British appointments, and rose to President of the First Continental Congress. With his health worsening after a year of service he resigned in favor of his son’s participation, so that he could return to SC and live out his remaining years there.

Arthur was educated by tutors in Charleston until he was sent at age twelve to Great Britain to attend Harrow, Westminster, and Trinity Hall. He studied law at Middle Temple and traveled Europe afterwards enjoying the arts, music and literature. He returned and married Mary Izard in 1764. They settled into Middleton Place plantation outside of Charleston, SC where generations of Middletons lived. They had five children over the years.

Arthur was a more hard line independence minded person than his father. He became a leader of the American Party in the state and one of its strongest advocates for independence. He served on the Council of Safety and its Secret Committee. In 1776 he replaced his father as a member of the Second Continental Congress. He subsequently became a signer of the Declaration.

He and William Drayton designed the Great Seal of South Carolina. Although a loving and kind person with family and friends, he earned a reputation of being ruthless toward loyalists in direct opposition with fellow signer Francis Merion, who urged reconciliation after the war. Since Middleton served in battle at Charleston and was captured along with Thomas Heyward and Edward Rutledge, he probably had good reasons to feel that way. He was freed in an exchange of prisoners along with the other two. Per his Descendants site, Benjamin Rush described Arthur Middleton “as a man of cynical temper but upright intentions towards his country.”

Arthur chose to return to private life once victory was assured and he went back to Middleton Place, which had been devastated by the British during the war. He declined a return to Congress to focus on the homestead and plantation’s restoration. He did serve in the state legislature and as a trustee for Charleston College. He did not last long after that, passing away in 1787 at age 44. He is buried there in the Middleton Place Gardens & Tomb along with his wife, who passed away many years later in 1814 at age 66.

If you enjoy that sort of thing, you owe it to yourself to visit this National Historic Landmark. It is an American jewel.

https://www.middletonplace.org

Arthur was the son of a famous, respected patriot in an aristocratic family. He came from extreme wealth and privilege. It did not matter. He advocated for independence even more strongly than his father, served his fellow colonists, and put his life on the line in battle. During the war he endured prison and found the family’s wealth and properties ravaged by the British at its end. Instead of regret and wallowing in pity, he set about the rebuild and restoration. At his life’s early end after having suffered from fevers for the better part of a decade, he had accomplished his goal while still serving the citizens of SC in the legislature. We pay homage to his dedication to America and the cause of independence.

Please remember Wolf’s rules for our community. In general that means to be respectful to each other and to pull no shenanigans that your mom might find offensive or otherwise cause jail time. That said, free speech is honored here.

Be blessed and go make something good happen!

THE STUFF

I had an epiphany watching the following video.

See if I can help you see it, too.

The problem with evolution is that it’s like quantum mechanics. Despite being powerful, explanatory and extremely predictive, it is both “incomplete” and has “interpretations”.

The interpretations carry baggage designed to shape worldview beyond what the science itself can say. And they also influence what the science can say easily, and what it has to say with more difficulty.

When Veritasium Dude (Derek Muller) sighs and gives in to Dawkins’ “selfish gene” idea, he is really giving in to an interpretation. That interpretation, like any interpretation in quantum mechanics, highlights some aspects of the science more than others. I can formulate the exact same science – even the same math – as the “sharing/shared gene” interpretation. Or, to name it a bit more objectively, the network interpretation of evolution.

The fact is, Dawkins formulated evolution in a way – an interpretation – that would best sell his bias toward his own atheistic assumptions about the universe. He asserts that every gene number “n” in a larger population “m” is composed of a bunch of selfish “1”s. I can likewise assert that “n” is a metric of collaborative, shared success within “m”, orienting its unit members not only toward their own shared success, but also toward the goal of influencing larger system success, struggling toward the unity of perceiving and becoming one with the creative intelligence. And it’s the same math.

It’s an interpretation.

Dawkins knows that humans tend to see the gene as microscopic and less than the individual – but it’s just as valid to see the gene as a topological connection – a filament uniting individuals, not just through gene space, but through function space. I would allege that this alternative network interpretation shows more, deeper, and larger subtleties of evolution, including causation, anthropological history, and gradients in the development of intelligence.

The individualization of the gene is an excellent and useful approximation, but one that hides some of the gene’s most fascinating potentials, as a shared entity.

And as explained in the video, it all boils down to the mathematics…..created IN THE BEGINNING.

Just sayin’!

And remember…….

Until victory, have faith!

And trust the big plan, too!

And as always….

ENJOY THE SHOW

On this day and every day –

God is in Control
. . . and His Grace is Sufficient, so . . .
Keep Looking Up

Hopefully, every Sunday, we can find something here that will build us up a little . . . give us a smile . . . and add some joy or peace, very much needed in all our lives.

“This day is holy to the Lord your God;
do not mourn nor weep.” . . .
“Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet,
and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared;
for this day is holy to our Lord.
Do not sorrow,
for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

Hope’s Answer

First Peter 3:15 says, “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.”

In the immediate context, the apostle Peter discusses suffering for doing good (1 Peter 3:13–14). Persecution and suffering are to be expected in the Christian life (John 16:33), but a believer’s response to suffering should point others to Jesus. Peter emphasizes that Christ suffered and died to provide eternal life for those who believe in Him, and His example of suffering for doing good should strengthen all of us (1 Peter 3:17–18). Instead of fearing persecution, Christians are to make sure they suffer for righteousness’ sake, “honor Christ the Lord as holy,” and be prepared to give a defense of one’s hope in Jesus (verse 15, ESV). A believer should always be ready to tell others the good news of salvation in Jesus’ death and resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:2–4).

Providing a “defense” or giving an “answer” for one’s hope is based on the Greek word apologian, which carries the idea of “defending” something as a lawyer would defend his case in court. From the Greek word comes the English apologetics, “the discipline of defending” the Christian faith. Notice that Peter does not say that the job of giving an answer is only for the pastor or professional apologist. All Christians need to be prepared to give an answer or defense when someone asks them the reason for the hope that they have.

Peter wrote to the persecuted Christians in Asia Minor. As they were undergoing persecution, their outward behavior demonstrated hope in Jesus—not a wishful thought, but a solid and assured faith (see Hebrews 6:19–20). The believers’ lack of fear in the face of suffering would have propelled others to ask about the reason for their faith, giving the believers a perfect opportunity “to give an answer.” When believers display their sure hope in Jesus despite their circumstances, others will notice (see 1 Peter 2:12).

To properly answer someone who asks about one’s faith, the Christian must use “gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience” (1 Peter 3:15). There’s no place for harshness or disrespect in a Christian’s life, especially as he represents Christ and gives an answer to explain his faith. Peter exhorts the believer to answer unbelievers gently, respectfully, and with the example of one’s life (cf. Colossians 4:6). Believers should reflect Christ’s teaching of gentleness and “speak the truth in love” (Ephesians 4:15, NLT).

The command to “always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have” presupposes a faith that causes us to live out our hope in Christ visibly before others. When unbelievers see a Christian’s great hope in the face of persecution or suffering, they will naturally want to know the reason for that hope (Matthew 5:16). We need to be prepared to share the gospel in a way that is gentle and respectful. The result will be “that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander” (1 Peter 3:16).

How would you answer that question?
A concise answer might be –
As a Christian, my hope comes from faith in Jesus Christ, who offers forgiveness for my sins, purpose in my life, and eternal life in heaven through His death and resurrection. This changes my perspective to a Christian Biblical worldview, giving me peace, joy and confidence in God’s love and plan, no matter what life’s challenges are.

My hope is built on nothings less
than Jesus Christ and [His] righteousness.

On Christ the Solid Rock I stand,
all other ground is sinking sand.
