It is time to kick off the next American series with a name change and an off ramp from pure American history. There are too many “American Stories” out there now with far better authors than me to keep that in play. We have closed out the Declaration signers and discussed the Articles of Confederation while lightly touching on the Constitution previously. Each one of the posts of this series is intended to be less than a 10 minute read. The attached videos may add to that total time allocated.
The series image at the top is my personal vision of America. More folks ought to try hiking in the Smokies or their favorite national and state parks. Their perspectives about life in America might change for the better.

Series Intent
Unfortunately, YT will continue to play a part in this series due to their command of music and movie videos that Rumble cannot seem to duplicate yet. Since we are in a simulation anyway, who cares?! ๐
I will never stray far from the theme of AMERICA FIRST with the serious stuff.
These short stories will not be overly complicated. They will be based simply on observations, personal experiences, and publicly available evidence and documentation as in the past. To be sure I will continue with parallels, interconnections and inflection points that are baked into our American Experience. I seek to lighten these stories up to help readers have fun as well as inform. The heavy lifting was done with the Declaration of Independence series.

My series title is a steal from the great, or insane, or pysop (your choice) movie from Robin Williams, The World According to Garp. Here is the trailer for those too young or did not see it. Note the year of release – 1982.
Also note the obvious CIA psyops in the movie that have surfaced (imagine that), have increased in scope and are ingrained into society today. Which brings us to who was Director of that renegade organization during those years? This guy – William “Bill” Casey from 1981-1987 during the Reagan years when all of us were focused on The Cold War and its end as well as recovery from the horrible economy and Iran hostages fiasco of the peanut farmer.
Fine, happy lookin’ feller. ๐ He also brought us a mixed bag of the Iran-Contra affair. Dude was CIA through and through for decades even without official titles. He was in the OSS after WW II before it became the CIA. So what was going on in Central and South America during his time in the saddle besides the Contras? Well, coke up the nose in America became king and the nation of Columbia was its capital for production and distribution. He was a practicing attorney who spent time as SEC Chair, under Secretary of State for Economic Affairs, and Chair of the Exim Bank in the 1970’s. However, he also served on the President’s Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board at the end of President Ford’s term.

Your View Matters
For this first series and story we will stay with American history to set the stage and it is a really important concept if you seriously want to understand your life and government in America. When it comes to how you read and understand the Constitution, assuming you have, your viewpoint of its intent and content matters. As an example, if you were a Federalist back in those days you thought differently about it than an Anti-Federalist. So, let’s establish the two primary ways to interpret it that are still used today. I am going to keep this short and simple as I promised.
The two primary legal, political, and moral approaches to the Constitution are:
Strict Constructionist – Literal and narrow reading (interpretation) of the document that limits the powers of the federal government to what it provides.
Loose Constructionist – Views it as a “living document” that is interpreted broadly that adapts to society as it evolves and its needs change.
Then there are the true rebels who use whichever is expedient to their cause of the moment.
Note the immediate stress and contention between the two. Strict supporters point to the 10th amendment; that powers not delegated to the U. S. by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people. Seems rather straight forward, doesn’t it? If the issue is not covered under the powers of the feds or specifically prohibited; it was up to the states and We the People to handle.
Au contraire.
The Loose folks said the Necessary and Proper Clause (Article 1, Section 8) supported their theory that feds had powers not listed, including any powers needed to accomplish the powers that are listed through Congressional action. They do not call it the Elastic Clause without good reasons.
You decide for yourself if that stress on Constitutional interpretation was intentionally introduced or a consequence of disagreement of the parties involved in the Constitution’s creation. I have my own opinion and will not influence yours – yet.
Then There Is The Judiciary
The judiciary is designed in the Constitution and subsequent case law to be the arbiters of truth and justice of that document and related laws. How can the judiciary truly be that non-partial when their justices and judges are nominated, confirmed, and appointed in political processes? Human nature tends to influence how one sees the world and performs one’s role in it. You are not going to appoint or confirm a sworn enemy or ideologue you oppose if you have the power. In understanding the subject Constitution and laws along with their application; it all eventually leads us back to had control of Club Senate back in their day (BITD) as well as today because that is where the judiciary confirmation process exists.
Which is why it was of monumental importance when Harry Reid nuked the filibuster for non-SCOTUS judicial confirmations with Turtle answering when the GOP took over by nuking them on SCOTUS nominations. Harry got his leftist, loose constructionist federal judges. Turtle got the conservative, strict constructionist justices.
The historical political battle in our nation has always been between strict and loose constructionism. The rules of the game are set, then one group or another starts trying to change or reinterpret them to fit their goals. It has seesawed back and forth over the entire time period. The one consistency is that the Federalists of the past and Democrats after Jackson have tended to be loose constructionists while the Jeffersonian Republicans and GOP from Lincoln on have tended to be strict constructionists. This has polarized the general population over the years as one group or another became dominant.
Historically, it started as the post Revolutionary War patriots dealt with the process of isolating the loyalists and Tories along with building a country that could stand on its own accord. It took time and great effort to put down insurrections and mischief their enemies initiated to protect their personal interests. Over time the patriots rooted out their opponents, at least enough to insure America’s survival and progress. Many of those losers returned to Great Britain. Others converted and assimilated into society. It took a couple of generations and some funerals. This led to the Federalist Party’s demise as the Jeffersonian Republicans represented the vast majority of commoner patriots who actually fought in both wars.
However, even with the success there remained embedded operatives indebted and working for the ruling class and the Crown of Great Britain. As an example the southern plantation class along with the northern mercantilist and banker class sold “Cotton is King” to the nation to continue national slavery operations despite prohibiting the foreign slave trade operations decades before. They wanted to keep the money flowing from trade relations in Europe going, primarily with Great Britain, as they were becoming wealthier by the day.
Enter the Civil War.
If any of that intrigue sounds like it may still be going on today, you may be paying attention.
With this understanding you may be able to better understand why all of this current day retribution demanded by We the People seems to be taking so long. Every day it seems a loose constructionist and/or corrupt federal judge oversteps their authority. The depth of corruption and depravity in America has been breathtaking as well as disconcerting to discover. The amount of work that has to be done to fix things is daunting. The war rages on. Just always remember the definitions of strict and loose constructionists because there is a constant struggle within our government and people based on which interpretation rules on every issue.
There will be more applications of these two principles to consider that will be the focus of future threads, however, they will not always reference government related activities and conditions.
Conclusion
I cannot leave without a blast from the past. Does anybody remember the UPI press service of yore? It was formerly AP and UP at the forefront of what we now affectionately call the fake news. UP hit the skids long ago having gone through bankruptcy a couple of times and currently exists as a small disseminator of quirky stuff. But while they were still trying to remain a viable news source, they did political hit pieces. The fun in looking back on the declarations of idgits from the past is really, really hard to pass up. So below you will see a pre 2016 election article from UP.

And because they very purposefully and intentionally didn’t, because instead they rewarded businesses who broke the law, they put everyone else in a position where they would have to break the law too, in order to remain competitive.

This has been my biggest complaint about businesses in our tourist area even when I was still working. The use of all of the transient illegals that get paid with cash or through a supposedly legit business front with “contract” employees they hire out as temps. When we analyzed the tax returns of the employers it was a dead giveaway of what they were doing to increase bottom line. I had one owner of a hotel tell me that he only reported about 35-50% of his actual annual revenues subject to how much was paid with credit cards. He said occupancy of the inn was in the 70% range yearly, which you could tell was probably true by the parking lot when driving by regularly. He used cash to pay the illegals to clean the rooms and do maintenance. Sure enough on his tax returns you saw very little wage expenses. He claimed his “family” cleaned the rooms as his excuse, yet, they were rarely there. Same crap happened in restaurants, shops, etc.
The good news for us is ICE has personnel permanently assigned here and most of the region’s law enforcement offices have signed up and been approved by DHS to in essence be deputized into immigration enforcement. That’s why it was so important to open it up to departments and sheriff offices all over the country. To receive approval the local officers the offices are not allowed to shelter any business buddies from raids. If ICE wants to take down an employer, they can and the case goes into federal system. Local judges can’t protect them.
We had a very well known, successful local restauranteur with numerous locations commit suicide last week who was doing that very thing along with other stuff.
SonIL was approved for the duty by DHS and his employer. They chase them down (most times literally), arrest them and hand them over to the local ICE operation for processing.
Unfortunately a lot of the small business owners are forced into using illegals for various reasons. As a guy who made the harp I bought said, he tried to hire a woman but she said she could make more money staying home collecting government handouts. To paid her what he could afford to pay, it would have to be under the table to make it worth her while.

On top of that the trucking industry paid $39.9 billion (39,900,000,000) in federal and state highway taxes in 2014 and hauled 70.1 percent of total U.S. freight tonnage . There were 123,230,000 households in 2014. Or an additional $ 324 in fuel taxes for a total of $1,082 in fuel taxes or 2% in tax.
A typical American household with wireless phones paying $100 per month for wireless voice service and now paying nearly $225 per year in taxes, fees, and government surcharges or another 0.43% tax.
So adding up the tax on your median household income of $51,939 —
28.9+5.5+7.25+4.3+2+.43 = 48.38% in identifiable tax on that income.
When I added up the actual tax back in Taxachusetts in 1985 when I first started my small business I was paying 64.5% in the taxes I could identify.
Now add in the 151 taxes on a loaf of bread, over 1/2 the cost (President Reagan) and you are lucky to keep 25% of what you earn!
BUT that is the tax on the small businesses, sole proprietors, partners, LLCs and individuals.
Various government policies are to the advantage of the mega-corporations. Small businesses can not off-shore and do not get the tax advantages the large corporations do.
Regulations are DESIGNED (and written) by corporate lobbyists to give the Big international corporations the ability to kill off small business ChiefIO link
Third the cost of regulations is a lot greater for small businesses, may of whom can not afford full time lawyers. (We turned down a job because the contract included abiding by a bunch of laws we could not even find and the job did not pay enough to hire a lawyer to go looking.)

3. The sources claim Grenell was involved in talks. Grenell did not confirm this. “According to sources, the proposals were presented to the White House and the State Department by U.S. Special Envoy Richard Grenell…Grenell, who has been advising the administration to engage Maduro in negotiations to defuse the escalating diplomatic standoff, declined to comment for this story.”
4. None of this was approved by Pres. Trump. “The sources said the Trump administration ultimately dismissed the transition proposals from Caracas after internal reports concluded they were an attempt to preserve the regimeโs criminal structures under a new guise.”
What I gather from the article is this:
โข It named no sources.
โข There likely were talks and proposals to enact change in Venezuela without Maduro.
โข Pres. Trump and the WH rejected those ideas.
I don’t know if Ghost is saying that these plans are actually in place now, meaning that the arrest of Maduro was just for show. Those kinds of theories are what I find frustrating, when people decide they “know” what happened and present it as theory while actually trying to convince others to enter into those beliefs.
I don’t agree with the idea that the arrest and extraction of Maduro were just for show to cover for a “devolution” plan, and I don’t see benefit in his promoting such ideas. Just my opinion.

IMO it’s mostly psy-op. More on that below.
There is no benefit for people like us who simply want to know the truth of what happened at a simple and straightforward level. There is almost certainly military benefit in promoting such ideas – mostly as psychological control of public response. This is where “ends”, “means”, and “justification” get messy – depending upon what one’s “ends” are – tactical, strategic, or “winning”.
Notice how much nicer that was, than simply saying “They’re lying.” ๏ปฟ๐๏ปฟ
IMO there is a sector of the public composed of people who “need to believe” that “greater good is happening at a more granular level than reality”. When this is not attended to, one gets fracturing – people like Para, MTG, Massey, Ann Coulter, etc. These are people who, IMO, are not following Trump’s “downside logic”. They think they are facing difficult truths – which is true. But yet we come to different conclusions, overall.
Downside is not, magically, upside. Many people want to believe the upside, but they can’t be fully truthful with themselves about downsides. Lies about the downside allow truth about the upside to go down easier, and make their lives easier. Humans love to believe lies that make them happier – hopefully the least destructive lies possible. They want to have faith, even when they’re not sure it’s good faith.
Stated more simply, for people who are losing faith in USG geopolitical direction, there are “alternative realities” that keep them from falling into opposition to plans and actions.
Take Maduro. He’s in a position now where he has to cut a deal. There is no denying this. So how much of a lie is it to say that he wanted the deal, or even was begging for the deal, and he got the deal? People almost can’t know the truth, so they are being fed the smallest, cleanest lie that does the trick. IMO.
Some people, like us, would prefer to know the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth – at least about this. But to understand fully, ask yourself similar questions about your relationships with friends, family, and lovers. Look deeply at “imperfectly sure things” that we “hopefully” tell ourselves, to have faith in our relationships. The fact that faith, overall, is still a good thing, is a gift from God. Christ taught us many wonderful truths about the universe.
What is the alternative to having faith in uncertainty? One can look at it in a blunt, harsh, and frequently evil, selfish way that may show how such bad hopes look in the eyes of God.

Sometimes that’s true, sometimes it’s not, and often it’s a mixture of bad hopes from all involved, which makes it even more tragic.
We don’t know all the times that Jesus wept.
IMO only God and faith in God, gets us out of this problem. We have to love truth and have faith, in balance. Faith in God allows this.
SO – I personally will not promote theories that cross from “truthful hope” into “bad hope”. This kind of illogical theory stinks of bad hope – at least to me.

At this point “I really don’t care, Margaret,” about being nice about untruths. ๐ I see no benefit to promoting the idea that “devolution” is taking place when we just had a spectacular military victory that on its face should be celebrated. I don’t understand a perceived need to twist facts and make things up. And anyone who needs that to be done needs therapy, IMO.
You are much more charitable than I am. I have very little patience when people can’t or won’t see what is actually going on, which can include a measure of hard-won and well-deserved trust in Trump, to the point that they have to make stuff up, which only causes problems.
As for the “greater good,” that is according to them. It is their opinion based on their personal needs. It is “their truth,” which is not even something real; there is just truth. But they impose their needs on everyone else.
Say it with me…”Therapy is your friend.” Or how about a modicum of self-awareness to recognize what they’re doing.
The truth matters. I don’t trust people who twist it for their own needs and purposes. In this Maduro case, it’s all good. If people need to twist this to make themselves feel better, I can’t imagine what cowering jellyfish they would become in stickier situations.
“Alternate reality” is a big clue. It’s not reality, and it’s not the truth. People who can’t accept a simple fact that the U.S. just conducted a wildly successful military operation to arrest someone the U.S. had indicted…I have no words for that. If they need to believe that we didn’t actually arrest Maduro and instead cut a deal, while at the same time deceiving the world into believing we did arrest Maduro, I have no words for that either.
If it isn’t true, then it’s a lie. How much of a lie is any lie when you’re deceiving yourself and anyone who will listen to you? (I consider it to be huge.) Anyone who is making stuff up without evidence is promoting a lie.
I don’t know or care if Maduro wanted and/or cut a deal. It doesn’t change the facts of what happened. He has been arrested. It wasn’t a secret operation where we had a deal but put our people in harm’s way and spent no telling how much money and materiel in the process.
Then those people need therapy. They are not individuals who have strength of character, self-awareness, emotional intelligence, or any attributes that would make them worthy of a listen or a follow, IMO.
I don’t consider the arrest of an indicted foreign dictator to be on the same level as personal relationships. What we think and do in our personal lives should not spill over into our sphere of influence over others. At least some people used to have enough awareness not to act out on their emotions. When people do act out on personal emotions, it sometimes leads to murder. If people can’t handle the truth about a success for our country, then they are lost and IMO are leading others into ruinous territory.
Truth matters. Coddling people who have a need to twist it for their own purposes is neither truthful nor beneficial to them, and certainly not to the rest of us.

I think it’s worth keeping our people away from such thinking. Our mission is 100% truth. Even about the other missions.
I have always acknowledged that that kind of thing could be true and that we don’t always have to know everything. That’s a far cry from bloggers and influencers taking a known set of reported facts and putting their own spin on it.
Sometimes it would be good to just take the win and celebrate it. Sometimes there isn’t a mysterious backstory that people need to try to decode. They end up making things up. (And I’m not talking about Q, which is in its own category.)
IMO, the constant drip, drip of “things aren’t as they seem” only adds to people’s distrust and sense of imbalance. Then they question everything and become vulnerable to anyone who presents a made-up story, no matter how outlandish and impossible. I’ve seen it over and over. Sometimes a line needs to be drawn that says no, it stops here. What was presented is either unheard of, improbable, unconstitutional, unlawful, out of character, unlikely in the extreme, impossible, etc. And the attitude of believing anything can spill over into real life too, with negative effects.
That’s why I have so little tolerance for influencers who push this kind of stuff.

I would not assume that the people who are doing this, on the front end, are doing it for their own purposes. Not all of them. I suspect that some of them – perhaps many of them, or even most of the big ones – the leaders – are doing it because somebody in a 5-sided building somewhere decided that this “therapy” of weak patriots had a place in the current 5GW, to shore up a liability in our population, and that those actors are doing what duty calls for. To make a target population of communist 5GW listen to OUR LIES instead of ChiCom lies.

Since every state has statutes that govern the procedure to challenge to vote counts of its elections, it cannot be a crime to follow those statutes in each state. By informing Pence that his constitutional authority over the convening of the Electoral College included allowing such challenges to be made to him once the College had been convened, it is impossible for that to be an illegal act.

Again, relying on memory, ANY member of Congress could have introduced the ‘right’ to contest, and it would have to be taken up at a future date.
Instead, Pelosi had to squash not only a contesting of the election, but also that RIGHT to docket it later. It was TWO levels deep of concatenated parliamentary procedure.
ALL of her actions were predicated on engineering the emergency, and once the few there in the well (I assume) departed, that sealed the deal for absolutely NO contesting ANYTHING in re 2020 federal elections.
This may be why all the courts invoked “No standing’ to all petitioners seeking redress. There wasn’t any path available.

COMMENTARY FOR JAMES 1
This epistle of James is one of the most instructive writings in the New Testament. Being chiefly directed against particular errors at that time brought in among the Jewish Christians, it does not contain the same full doctrinal statements as the other epistles, but it presents an admirable summary of the practical duties of all believers. The leading truths of Christianity are set forth throughout; and on attentive consideration, it will be found entirely to agree with St. Paul’s statements concerning grace and justification, while it abounds with earnest exhortations to the patience of hope and obedience of faith and love, interspersed with warnings, reproofs, and encouragements, according to the characters addressed. The truths laid down are very serious, and necessary to be maintained; and the rules for practice ought to be observed in all times. In Christ there are no dead and sapless branches, faith is not an idle grace; wherever it is, it brings forth fruit in works.How to apply to God under troubles, and how to behave in prosperous and in adverse circumstances. EXCERPT: โYears before becoming a judge on the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, James Ho clerked for the renowned Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Being born and raised in the Silicon Valley and having spent half of my life there, it is EXTREMELY difficult to be a Christian there, let alone a Creationist or a YECcer (as I have heard the disparaging term bandied about).
I have many friends there who simply cannot bring themselves to face the abuse they would endure to actually profess their faith.
60 years ago it wasn’t that way. My, oh my, what a cesspool Sodom by the Bay has become. Still praying for Scott, and may almighty GOD have mercy on him.
I would say that Scott’s statement was the embodiment of this Scripture:

I have heard it said that people get it backwards when thinking about accepting Jesus. That they think “I have to be changed, better, more, something else, before I can ask Jesus in.” But when we ask Jesus to come, THEN is when we are changed. It is a process, too, generally, because we are still sinners, no matter what, so it can take some time. And Scott asked people to respect his conversations were now between him and Jesus. Scott didn’t comment again after that, so how or if he changed in the presence of Jesus, we don’t know. Scott didn’t get years for his changed heart to manifest into things we could see and hear publicly.
I choose to believe that Scott is in heaven with Jesus right now.
God is merciful and complete love. Adams is in good hands .

By way of contrast, The Fiancee once worked as manager of a cubie farm. She finds out that one of her problematic, low-performing people has been watching porn on company time.
Her company had extensive Federal contracts, and — unfortunately — some of these contracts had provisions that essentially made her company a “mandatory reporter” for child porn. So when she was discussing this guy’s termination with HR, it was determined that HR was going to have to review this guy’s downloaded porn stash to ensure that there was no kiddie porn on it.
This took days. While there were no illegal minors involved, there was over 100 hours of video — mainly anal.
I guess the moral of the story is, it could be worse — you could be mandated to watch unenjoyable porn on company computers on company time.

Criminal contempt of Congress is a process by which the House or Senate can seek to hold a witness accountable for failing to comply with a committee subpoena. Under 2 U.S.C. ยง 192, it is a misdemeanor criminal offense to “willfully” fail to comply with a valid congressional subpoena for either documents or testimony “upon any matter under inquiry before either House . . . or any committee of either House of Congress.” Whereas the House and Senate originally used their own legislative powers to enforce subpoenas, Congress chose to criminalize subpoena noncompliance in 1857. By the 1930s, both chambers were relying on criminal contempt as a chief method of subpoena enforcement.
What are the penalties for being held in criminal contempt?
A witness suffers no direct legal consequence from House or Senate approval of a contempt citation, though a variety of political consequences may flow from being held in contempt. If the individual is prosecuted and convicted, violations of ยง 192 are punishable by a fine of up to $100,000 and imprisonment “for not less than one month nor more than twelve months.” The federal sentencing guidelines also inform the severity of the penalties. Former presidential adviser Stephen Bannon, for example, was convicted of criminal contempt of Congress in 2022 and sentenced to four months in jail and ordered to pay a fine of $6,500…
What is the process for holding someone in criminal contempt?
Criminal contempt of Congress is a unique criminal offense; as a result, its enforcement process is different from that of traditional criminal violations. That process is established in 2 U.S.C. ยง 194. Under that provision, when a committee reports to the House or Senate that a witness has failed to comply with a subpoena, “it shall be the duty” of the President of the Senate or the Speaker of the House to “certify” the facts of the contempt “to the appropriate United States attorney, whose duty it shall be to bring the matter before the grand jury for its action.” Although the statute does not expressly require approval of the contempt citation by the committee’s parent body, both congressional practice and at least one judicial decision suggest that approval by the committee’s chamber may be necessary. As a result, the process of holding an individual in contempt generally includes a vote of the committee reporting the matter to the full House or Senate, followed by a vote of the full chamber to direct the certification of the matter to the U.S. Attorney.
Who enforces criminal contempt?
Like other federal criminal offenses, the contempt statute is enforced by the Department of Justice (DOJ). Congress may not act as a “law enforcement agency,” and thus it must rely on the executive branch to prosecute violations of federal criminal law, even when the offense is committed against Congress itself. Congress’s reliance on DOJ to prosecute criminal contempt charges represents the key weakness to the use of criminal contempt as a subpoena enforcement mechanism against executive branch officials. Although 2 U.S.C. ยง 194 explicitly states that it “shall be the duty” of the U.S. Attorney to present an approved contempt citation to a grand jury, DOJ has not interpreted the statute as creating a mandatory duty, asserting instead that it retains discretion over any individual contempt referral from Congress. What justification has DOJ provided for its decisions not to seek indictments?
Both Democratic and Republican administrations have generally been unwilling to prosecute current or former executive branch officials for criminal contempt of Congress when the official was acting under direction from the sitting President in denying Congress access to the subpoenaed information. The majority of these declination decisions have involved claims of executive privilege, with DOJ repeatedly concluding that the contempt statutes cannot constitutionally be applied to an executive branch official who is protecting the President’s claim of executive privilege.
