“We do not believe any group of men adequate enough or wise enough to operate without scrutiny or without criticism. We know that the only way to avoid error is to detect it, that the only way to detect it is to be free to inquire. We know that in secrecy error undetected will flourish and subvert.” –J. Robert Oppenheimer
We’ve all seen the news. We’re all up to speed. We know about the meltdown in the Dem party because Bernie is leading. You should see FLEP’s estimates on how Bernie will clean up on delegates in California. Whoa! Of course, the Dems are worried about down ticket races.
But we all know, we will vote like there is no tomorrow. No slackers. We expect problems and our only way to win is to swamp the ballot box with Trump votes. It might not be as easy as we think.
Let’s watch tonight and see how it goes. Should be plenty of fireworks.
Kash Patel was Devin Nunes right hand man, who moved into the NSC and was specifically targeted by the jerks in Obama Deep State. Kash Patel will be Richard Grenell’s right hand man at DNI, sweeping out the dust bunnies. Interesting choice…..
Here we go, folks! The time difference between NYC (Eastern Time) and New Delhi is 10 hours and 30 minutes (don’t ask how the 30 minutes happened, please). Keep that in mind when looking for coverage. Schedule is listed below. Here’s the map for reference.
Here is Channel 18 in India. Everyone is dancing…. Kettle Drums, reporters out on the parade route. Wowwwwwwwwww. They’re definitely psyched about Melania! Look at the pretty umbrellas!
CNN is offering a “somewhat” English version live feed. Actually, the Indian ones are better.

Let the comments flow, and let’s see where we stand in the morning. Chances are, by the time the rest of the world wakes up, it will be over for the day.
It will take a LONG time to get to India, and the events are scheduled for February 24-25, thus today is mostly a travel day. Let’s use it to brush up on the background.
The event is being called: “Kem Chho Trump”, or “How Are You Trump”
The President and FLOTUS Melania will travel to New Delhi (Capital of India) and Ahmedabad (Capital of the State of Gujarat and home of Modi). New Delhi is located at the top of India in the middle. You see it? The Yamuna River flows through New Delhi, and if you follow the Yumana south, about 130 miles, we come to the town of Agra, famous for it’s rich red sandstone, ancient and gorgeous, …….. and on the banks of the Yamuna, sits the Taj Mahal.
They’re really in New Delhi to visit the Presidential Palace. and in Gujarat to open the largest cricket stadium in the world. The Stadium holds 110K people. Yet, the buzz is about the trip to the Taj Mahal. The Trumps will get to see the Taj Mahal and the photos of Melania + plus the President……. at the Taj Mahal….. gosh, they will be iconic photos just like Princess Diana (Think I’m joking? The India Press is already talking about the 1992 photo of Diana sitting alone)…. only happier……. Can’t imagine what Secret Service is thinking right now.
The press in India is whipped into a frenzy. I’ve been working on his post for about a week. Putting the finishing touches on it yesterday, there were 40 Trump articles from ONE media outlet in a single day. Everyone is busy in India.
FILE PHOTO: A worker paints footpath in front of Sardar Patel Gujarat Stadium, where U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to visit during his upcoming trip to India, in Ahmedabad, India, February 14, 2020. REUTERS/Amit Dave/File Photo
The whole city of Agra is getting spruced up. Huge local controversy about a wall being built to shield a poor section from view. Modi being pilloried in the press for it.
Back to the map from above: From New Delhi, travel WSW and you can see the town of Jodhpur, the shining pink city, because of the sparkles in it’s sandstone. We have some at our house. Keep going SW to the town of Ahmedabad, this is the capitol of the state of Gujarat, and the home of Modi. Yes, Modi wants to bring Trump to his home and it will be like nothing we’ve ever seen in the USA. I recall a wedding Big T and I were invited to in Jodhpur….. there were 14K people there and it lasted for 5 days. No one does a party like the Indians.
Trump’s over-the-top taste for tamasha fits well with that of his host Narendra Modi who is readying a mega show called ‘Kem Chho Trump’ in Ahmedabad, a glitzier and bigger version of the ‘Howdy Modi’ event in which Trump participated.
FLOTUS Melania is going to attend a “happiness class” at a public school in South Delhi. Might be a great remedial class for the press.
Indian media reported that Melania pulled 10 women together to assist her during the visit. The FLOTUS is said to meet the group upon her arrival. There are claims that the team was given special training on how to communicate with Melania and was ordered to ditch the customary khaki uniform for blazers and trousers.
Okay, the rest of the post is more background. Videos we could find of Modi and Trump together, to see how the two men interacted. I tried to do this in calendar order.
June 26, 2017: At the White House ~ this was “The Hug”
February of 2018: This flew under the radar. President Trump and Modi in a hotline phone call to block China and a rising crisis in the Maldives. Interesting……
June 27th, 2019: G20 In Japan, President Trump aligns with Abe and Modi. Poor Panda Xi was not invited to supper. No ice cream for Xi.
The two leaders also met in August at the G7 summit held in the French town of Biarritz.
The meeting had come just days after the two leaders attended the mega ”Howdy Modi” rally in Houston which was attended by more than 50,000 Indian-Americans in Houston, TX. You HAVE to see this Three Minute Clip.
We have the Leader of India, Modi, of the largest Democracy in the world, and President Trump, the American President and de facto leader of the World…… together, in a stadium with 50K people. WATCH Modi find President Trump in the crowd, grab Trump’s hand……. and never let go. They decide to walk together, Secret Service scrambles (Um, where you going Mr. President, sir?) and photographers start flipping out (This wasn’t on my schedule, MUH SCHEDULE!), trying to capture the iconic moment for history. Watch the crowd reaction. The buzz starts slow and spreads like WILDFIRE. People from the other side of the floor RUN across the middle to catch a glimpse of the two men. Suddenly, there is an ARMY of Black Suit Security around them. What a terrific moment!
Here is the whole thing, expanded version, from FOX. One hour and 23 minutes = whole thing
September of 2019: Trump’s visit follows PM Modi’s tour of the US in September, during which he met with the US President in New York on the sidelines of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly.
February 12th, 2020. Trump speaks from the Oval about visiting India. “Modi is a great gentlemen.”
And that bring us up to today. It’s going to be a spectacular few days. Get plenty of sleep tomorrow. We’re leaving on a jet plane first thing in the morning. Twitter is on fire about the visit. Take a look at a few postings.
Among those traveling in India for Trump trip next week will be:
Ivanka Trump Jared Kushner Wilbur Ross Dan Brouillette Mick Mulvaney Robert O'Brien Stephen Miller Dan Scavino Lindsey Reynolds Rob Blair Stephanie Grisham Ajit Pai Lisa Curtis Kash Patel
We’re rolling low into Vegas!!!!!! Did you get enough sleep after the rally yesterday? Hope so, because this rally is early Afternoon!! Las Vegas, NV Fri, February 21, 2020 12:00 pm (PST) We’re following the schedule:
President left Tuesday for the west coast. First stop is a fundraiser in Rancho Mirage, California at Larry Ellison’s house. It’s a big deal. Expected to raise about 10 million dollars.
Thursday Morning, President attends Graduation Ceremony for Prisoners in Vegas, signature program. If he can actually reduce the recidivism rate, it would be a major accomplishment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L79bm98B0IM (many comments on Roger Stone)
Las Vegas, NV Fri, February 21, 2020 12:00 pm (PST)
VP Pence gives a rally in Reno, 1:15pm.
Fly back to DC or to Mar-A-Lago? Is Baron on spring break? Melania did not come back to the WH with President after the Daytona 500. Maybe they are still in Florida? No….. if you thought we were done, you were WRONG.
President is flying BACK to DC.
After speaking at three rallies in three days in three states, attending a California fundraiser, The Bakersfield Water Board, the Olympic Committee, and Las Vegas graduation speech, Trump will have one day to rest up before he heads to India for a two-day visit with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. (and Melania is going to India with him) We’re on that roller coaster.
“President Trump has delivered for Nevada creating 125,600 new jobs since his election, including 16,800 new manufacturing jobs and 24,400 new construction jobs,” wrote Michael Glassner, Chief Operating Officer of Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. “President Trump looks forward to celebrating this success and more with the great men and women of Nevada.”, according to the Reno Gazette: https://www.rgj.com/story/news/politics/2020/02/15/trump-rally-supporters-las-vegas-next-week/4772971002/
Nice to have Trump Vegas as a headquarters for operations out west!
Do you suppose President Trump will stay in the Presidential Suite of the Trump Tower in Vegas? Here is one penthouse suite, three bedrooms, about 3,000sq ft., and goes for about $1500/night. the view is right up the strip. Here is the bathroom. Not bad, eh?
You know how campaigns are often limited in their sign sizes? And we all know how expensive it is to buy billboards during campaigns, right? Well, how about this TRUMP sign, strategically placed at the end of The Strip?
Somehow, Bernie and Bloomberg just don’t have the same kind of presence in Nevada as Trump does. Hmmm…… In a BRILLIANT move to save funds and unify the party, the Nevada Repub Comm cancelled their caucus in February over a year ago. Effectively, all NV delegates will go to Trump for the convention, according to the Reno Gazette. https://www.rgj.com/story/news/politics/2020/02/15/trump-rally-supporters-las-vegas-next-week/4772971002/
After the Colorado Springs Rally, The President flew back to Vegas for a rally at the Vegas Convention center at noon…… and then back to DC.
In the afternoon, VP Pence will rally in Reno, following the campaign strategy of deploying heavy hitter Trump officials to a state for key events. Barnstorming the state is a good use of assets and the officials, when they travel together, have begun to look like a travel team for a sports league. Whoever came up with the idea deserves a raise. VP Pence event is scheduled to start at 1:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21 at the Atlantis Casino and Resort, 3800 Virginia St. in Reno. Per the Reno Gazette Journal.
Currently, for the Dems, Bernie is in the lead, followed by Biden, then Warren (who lost her voice earlier this week).
Trump lost Nevada to Hillary in 2016 by about 2.5 points. Nevada would be an easy get. In Colorado, Trump lost to Hillary by about 136K votes, and Gary Johnson got 144K. These states are close and doable for 2020. Especially with an egomaniac candidate like a Bloomberg, or a crazy socialist like a Bernie. Did you KNOW the Culinary Union in Vegas specifically rejected Bernie’s Medicare for All proposal…….. they LIKE their healthcare.
With the Larry Ellison fundraiser in Rancho Mirage, CA.
The rally in Phoenix for McSally and AZ
The Graduation Ceremony for Prisoners in Vegas
The Rally in Colorado Springs with Gardner
Rally on Caucus Day in Vegas
The President’s western swing has been most profitable and noteworthy.
Welcome to the Friday OPEN THREAD at the QTree! It’s the weekend and time to crack open a beer and put some steaks on the grill! Thank you for the Thursday hand-off TrumpIsMine. Thank you to Wolfie for keeping us all organized, up and running. What would we do without FLEP’s News Roundup to keep up? Thank you, Flep. Hat tip and a hearty thank you to Wheatie, Dep, BakoCarl, Michael, all contributors and the lurkers!
We don’t believe in political correctness at QTree. Free Speech is practiced here. ENJOY IT. Use it or lose it. This board will remain a REFUGE for those who need civility, either some or all of the time. Important Guidelines are outlined here in the January 1st open thread, with an addendum on 20191110. In other words, please keep it SOMEWHAT civil. We have a new board – actually a new SITE – called The U Tree – where people can take each other to the woodshed without fear of censorship or moderation.
What a week we’ve had in Trump time.
It was just last Friday we got the news of “No Charges against McCabe”, which sent us all into a fury.
We left Daytona on Sunday, before the horrible accident of Ryan Newman (prayers up).
The President came back to DC to proceed with more swamp draining (Get the feeling something is going on behind the scenes?)
Coming out of the NH primary, Bloomberg dwarfed Liz Warren/Pete/Biden/and Amy with his money and the Dems are eating each other alive.
Rich Grennell as Acting DNI!!!!!
Meanwhile, the President took off for the west coast to meet with Larry Ellison, Bakersfield Water Board, Prisoners graduating, and rallies in AZ, CO, and Vegas.
Now, the President is headed to India….. a full State visit.
Our President knows how to make an entrance. Here, he arrives in England. We can wait to see the Trump delegation arrive in India!
Does the President and the Administration seem a little different to you lately? With ShaMMMpeachment in the review mirror, the President’s approval numbers are up. Heck, the REPUBLICANS approval numbers are soaring. The resistance from the Repub side, which worked against Trump in 2016, has all but evaporated. Now, the Congressmen and Admin are traveling together, campaigning for each other. There will always be sniping (Mitt Romney), but there is definitely a new Espirit de Corps! It’s as though his foot is off the brake, the way the President always intended. Clock is ticking and there are GREAT THINGS yet to be done.
Great things…………… Hmmmm…………….. it’s been a while.
Our President is an impatient man and in these few months, we will could see extraordinary things which used to be commonplace in America. No doubt, Donald Trump is a big thinker, strategic, and “impossible” is his starting point. Funny, we used to ALL think that way as Americans. Can you imagine what would happen in the USA if 1%, or 5%, or 10%, of our population adopted the same mindset? Why can’t we?
Tesla, a man way ahead of his time, sits quietly, undisturbed, while electricity bounds around him.
Let’s face it, most people don’t have the same kind of far-reaching vision of a man like President Trump. We can’t imagine something until we see it. And when it happens, when we see it, everything changes.
1948, little boy in Germany sees a television for the first time. Look at the expression on his face.
Where does determination come from? What makes a man excel, despite all odds, and stand tall – against a storm of opposition? What is the source for such courage? Faith, grit, perseverance? We all have it, we need to use it, more.
Jessie Owens at the Berlin Olympics. We were so proud of him!
As Americans, we used to never quit. We’re defiant warriors. We used to ALL be that way. Nothing stopped us. When did “giving up” become an option? When did “managed decline” enter the American vocabulary? We voted for Trump because we LIKE the idea of WINNING
Man during the Great Depression, determined to find a job.
We didn’t complain when weather was bad. We didn’t use the weather to control governments, the world, our economy. And we didn’t turn bad weather into a substitute for religion by using bad modeling with questionable data sets in order to get a government grant. When did American start whining? We found a way to dig out, help neighbors, and go back to work. We didn’t have time to fight with each other.
Record snowfall in the Rockies in 1966, over 200 people lost their lives.
We did great things. As Americans, there was no reason we couldn’t.
Actual photo of the NYCSkyline in 1931 after the Empire State Bldg was completed. It dominated the skies as a symbol of what America could do.
And we took that “can-do” attitude from coast to coast, all across America.
1936, the building of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Yet today, the refurbishment of the Golden Gate Bridge is being done by a Chinese company. How did we let that happen? WHY would we let it happen? The Americans are the ones who innovate and build!
It took FOUR strong men from IBM to load a 5MB hard drive into a truck for transport – from 1956.
Sometimes, it took a few of us to come together to solve big problems…. to accomplish GREAT things, but we did it. Do you think this guys would have kicked someone off their team because of political affiliation? Of course not!!
NASA Engineers working on calculations in 1961.
We did our duty. We admire talent, wherever it comes from. After all, it takes ALL Americans to accomplish great things. It makes no sense to exclude people and make the USA weaker.
Jimmy Hendrix, playing in the Army band, 1962, Ft Campbell, KY
Because when America wins, we all win. We can save the world from tyrants. We can change the world with innovation. We can travel to the moon and explore the stars. There is no limit. We can do these kinds of things again, and President Donald Trump knows it. Deep down, we know it as well. Way back in our memory, we can remember what it feels like to be proud, walk tall, work hard, and stretch.
It’s why attending a Trump Rally feels so good.
Yet, we cannot be divided. We have to work together as Americans. No room for petty animosity. Do you suppose the media admonished these soldiers? Shamed people to curtail the celebration? Do you suppose teachers removed the American flags so as to …. “not offend anyone”?
American Soldiers aboard the QE2, coming home from WW2, as they entered New York Harbor.
“Q” has often said, “they want you divided”.
Who is “they”? Because that is the “they” we need to go after with all our might.
THAT is the “they”, which stands in the way, …….. of Great Things.
We’re headed higher, if we can work together, following the guy who has the vision to Keep America Great.
“Our movement is about replacing a failed and corrupt political establishment with a new government controlled by you, the American People.” Candidate Donald J Trump

It happened this morning. Debate is a skill. Matt was champ of the state of Florida in high school, and he still has the skills. He left Joy, Whoopie, spinning. Excellent appearance. He was polite, firm, and controlled the room. See what you guys think. 7 Minute Video.

We’re in Colorado Springs today, home of the US Air Force Academy. My little one is somewhere in the group in the banner photo above. The Academy dominates the town and is beautiful. It will make your heart soar with pride. Make sure to take a tour while here.
Remember when the President spoke at the Air Force Academy Graduation? He stayed and shook every cadet’s hand in congratulations.
Senator Cory Gardner is on the hot seat in the purple state of Colorado. Yes, Cory is a Neocon but we have to defend the seat. President Trump is pulling out all the stops to hold the Senate and we need to assist the Senate in places where our own Senator might not be running. Get involved. We all know how important the Senate is for judges and treaties.
FILE – In this March 13, 2019 file photo, reporters pose questions to Sen. Cory Gardner, R-Colo., on his way to a vote at the Capitol in Washington. (AP Photo/J. Scott Applewhite)
Gardner’s approval rating is in the 30% range on state polls and Former Governor Hickenlooper (the goofball who ran for President on the Dem ticket and was one of the first to drop out) among others, are running against him. Additionally, Dems are pouring money into the state to target Cory Gardner and they are expertly organized……. take a look at the director’s twitter feed = https://twitter.com/DHStokyo
Colorado Springs is right on I-25 about an hour south of Denver.
There is a very large military base (or several) in Colorado Springs. My best girlfriend has a son who is a Major stationed there. We don’t really know what he does. We don’t talk about those bases….. Yet, a high voter turnout in this area is crucial to a win in 2020.
While we are in Colorado Springs, let’s poke around a little bit. Garden of the Gods will take your breath away.
Early morning shot of the Central Garden of the Gods taken from the west side.
If you fly in, be prepared for the elevation change. First day, Gunner threw up until 4:00am. This was a summer session between Junior and Senior year of high school. The kids are invited to attend through rigorous application process. About a third to half of the kids ended up going to the Air Force Academy specifically, but strangely, they still keep in contact with each other, networking to this day. You can’t imagine where some of them ended up…… makes me proud of them all.
Lots and lots of physics and engineering. Mine is the one with his hand on his chin, second row, second from right, in the middle of his buddies. That second row of young men are quite a crew. America will be okay.
What these young men and women did that summer was awe-inspiring. After they left the Air Force Academy, Gunner returned to the Naval Academy for crew/rowing. The kid on his right, taller blond, best buddy, was a Junior Olympian champ in 400 meters…… then, they both went to Ole Miss to do the second year of University Mandarin, immersion for 6 weeks, sponsored by the NSA program for “desirable languages”. At lunchtime, they swam a mile and ran after classes. They only picked 16 kids in the whole country for the program. Rarefied air for someone like me. Truly privileged to be there. They were 17 years old. Why do we always underestimate our kids when they are capable of so much? Gosh, they look so young in these photos.
But we have a President to elect and a Senate to win.
Three MAGA rallies this week? You guys ready to roll? Gas up the bus, and make some snacks. We’re headed out west to protect the 2016 map of wins and expand upon them. But there is MOAR going on than just the MAGA rallies, and we need to understand the schedule to all be on the same page. Rallies are highlighted in bold. Let’s try to keep up with our President.

Each rally the President has includes data for about 25% of attendees WHO ARE Dem! In New Hampshire, we gained data on 17% of those who didn’t even vote in 2016 (17% of 70K who registered is enough to swing an election in New Hampshire). Besides, it’s good to have a Presidential rally in the Dems back yard……. it demoralizes the political opposition’s campaign staff. A MAGA rally is impossible to ignore and counteracts the local press gained by the Dems.
Traveling and campaigning will make our President stronger. He does love to be outside of DC, in the middle of America, where the beauty of the land is inescapable and humbles a simple man.
Let’s get oriented with a map of Arizona. This should help those of us east of the Mississippi.
It’s also important to understand the geography of AZ as mother nature provides her own photographic regions.
According to Wiki: “Phoenix is the capital and most populous city in Arizona, with 1,660,272 people (as of 2018). It is also the fifth most populous city in the United States” The metro area is…. ” 11th largest by population in the United States, with approximately 4.73 million people as of 2017.[7] ” I had no idea Phoenix was so big. Did you?
Continuing from Wiki: Phoenix was settled in 1867 as an agricultural community near the confluence of the Salt and Gila Rivers and was incorporated as a city in 1881. It became the capital of Arizona Territory in 1889.[9] It is in the northeastern reaches of the Sonoran Desert and has a hot desert climate.[10][11] Despite this, its canal system led to a thriving farming community with the original settler’s crops remaining important parts of the Phoenix economy for decades, such as alfalfa, cotton, citrus, and hay.[12][13]Cotton, cattle, citrus, climate, and copper were known locally as the “Five C’s” anchoring Phoenix’s economy. These remained the driving forces of the city until after World War II, when high-tech companies began to move into the valley and air conditioning made Phoenix’s hot summers more bearable.[14]
Of course, President Trump has been to Phoenix to campaign in the past. After all, this is Maricopa County…. home to Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
These early rallies are also a strategic move to line the campaign coffers for Senators and House seats in 2020. The extra dollars allow campaigns to book TV time earlier and at cheaper rates, and plan long term for the final push of October. Let’s give Trump a little boost, and if you can, make the $3-10 donations for select Senate/House seats. We need to be smart with our donations this year. For example, $100 spread among the Repub candidates who are running against the “Dirty 30” will help to flip the House back to our control. Plus, Repubs have far more Senators running than the Dems and we know the Dems are targeting the Senate. We must protect the Senate for judges and treaties. Expect the focus of the AZ rally to be on Martha McSally and keeping AZ a red state for 2020.
Remember when we were rather indifferent on Martha McSally? And then, in the midst of ShaMMMpeachment, she called Manu Raju of CNN “You’re a liberal hack” and refused to answer his questions? We nodded, slowly, …… new found respect for McSally. The media had a meltdown. The press corps demanded she apologize….. as if a US Senator is obligated to answer questions on the time schedule for CNN…….. McSally refused to apologize, stood defiant……… and her campaign sold t-shirts. Frankly, if McSally ran on a platform admonishing the MSM, she would probably win in a landslide.
Students for Trump are ready in AZ and have more college chapters than Bernie/AOC across the country. They had a BIG turnout for their 2nd Amendment rally and work all year long registering people to vote. Great young people and give us hope for the future.
Of course, if we think of Phoenix, we think of Glen Campbell’s lost love.
If you’re in Phoenix, check out Rusconi’s American Kitchen. It’s ranked as one of the best restaurants in the area, and they have a split filet which is to-die-for, and things like mac and cheese with green chilis.
If you’re in Phoenix for a while there is an enormous amount to explore:
We still don’t have a firm handle on this virus. The uncertainty leads to fear in a general population. Within this thread, we will share everything we know, culled from multiple sources. Thank you to all who contribute.
A New Kind of Warfare, a Bio-War, or Sudden Contagion:
The idea of a “Bio-Corridor” upon entry into the USA is being openly discussed and necessitates a new thread. This is an entirely new way of thinking and we need time to wrap our heads around the idea. Our goods go through a Customs screening but systems need to be updated and adapted for medical risk. Recently, we’ve seen illegal immigrants bringing measles, smallpox, polio, tuberculosis into our country. Diseases which were eradicated in the USA. A virus like COVID-19 is similar in in RO factor to Measles, but far more hazardous in risk to our citizens and economy. This makes LEGAL border adherence and a strict immigration policy mandatory…… just like those who came through Ellis Island long ago.
Health security has become national security and a globalist economy which only pursues short term profits has left us woefully unprepared. We can’t manufacture penicillin anymore or Vitamin C. Our last aspirin factory left the USA in 2004. We have ONE factory which makes surgical masks and sterile disposable operating room kits. And did you know a Chinese manufacturer recalled 9 million of those kits exported to the USA………. cuz they were contaminated.
With President Trump, we rebuilt a depleted military to fight conventional wars. We also turned our attention to the new war for the 21st century, the cyber war. Our enemies, specifically China, don’t need to devote billions to R&D and testing when they can merely steal our weapons systems for pennies on the dollar. Yet, how do we prepare for this war, the bio-war? Our supply chain and food supply must change. The USA is an MEGA exporter of Agri-products, BECAUSE our procedures and safety protocols are the best. We need country of origin labels on our food. Our ability to manufacture medicines must change. And China’s balance sheet and CCP subsidies must be dealt with, severely.
Here’s how the problem was created: Since China joined the WTO, they have successfully targeted entire industries to become the manufacturer to the world. In the USA, the “west”, and even India, companies operate on a profit/loss statement. They have to make money, otherwise, they go out of business. To gain dominance, China offers subsidies to their industries in the form of free energy, free water, capitol to build a factory, free land, or the most common way…. rolling of their bank loans. Remember, a rolling bank loan carries no loss. With this amount of subsidy, no private company in the USA/Belgium/ or India or Canada could possibly compete….. which is why Wall Street sent our factories to China.
Most economists believe China is carrying about 40-45 trillion in debt, about 3.5x’s their annual GDP, an amount equal to the USA having an 88 trillion dollar debt load. Everything ticks along nicely in China as long as the debt never comes due……….. With COVID-19, the debt is coming due.

Impact of COVID-19 on China’s Economy:
China has thrown billions into their local banks and reduced ratio of cash reserves to lending, and China was low on USD reserves due to tariff war with USA. The Chinese central bank plans to pump $22 billion into the economy amid reports that the coronavirus or COVD19 will lower the expected growth of China’s economy from 2.1% to 1.2%. It’s likely to be far worse.

How did COVID-19 start? What was the source?
We heard all kinds of rumors about the origins for COVID-19. First it was bat-soup, then Pandolins, but almost immediately we had a “conspiracy theory” about a bio-weapon accident/escape from a Level 4 lab in Wuhan, coincidentally close to the wet market. Did Coronavirus COVID-19 originate in Chinese government bio-weapon laboratory? Scientists believe killer disease may have begun in research facility 300 yards from Wuhan wet fish market. Senator Tom Cotton raised the possibility, was criticized, and proven correct by a study released on Feb 21st. Chinese Ambassador did not directly answer question in mid-February. Immediately CCP media calls out Tom Cotton. Odd…… Here are articles discussing the possibility:
BREAKING: Many leading Chinese scientists are starting to speak out and say COVID-19 (coronavirus) originated at a government bioweapons research facility in Wuhan, rather than the widely-held belief that it emerged from the city's Huanan seafood markets.https://t.co/DsxwJSAox2pic.twitter.com/TbshN8eDni
This is politically correct pablum, @DrTedros. The greatest enemy is of course the virus, not hurt feelings or fear or stigma. All this kind of idiocy does is make people question the WHO’s priorities. https://t.co/ser1Qqqxf7
Well, look at that. The Chinese Communist Party’s propaganda rag finally admits what I’ve said for a month: coronavirus didn’t start in Wuhan food market. So where did it originate? Time for answers from CCP. https://t.co/UTvcjvrHNz
Remdisovir, an AIDS drug is being discussed and we have some reports of success. Peter Navaro of the Trump Administration indicated approximately 100K doses would be available by the end of February as manufacturer of the drug, Gilead Sciences gears up production.
Other experts woefully admit it will be difficult to create a vaccine for Coronavirus, and even if they could, if everything went perfectly, it would be at least November before a vaccine would be available. Here are a few sources discussing the issue:
Always check Lancet Magazine, British publication, one of the most highly regarded institutions on subject of Coronavirus, discrediting rumor that this virus is anything but natural. AND rumors to such will make the problem more difficult to resolve….. which sounds like a political statement.
Please note the end of this post/article for common sense prevention.
Snapshot information and stories from around the world:
Cruise Ship docked and quarantined in Japan, the Diamond Princess, docked off Yokohama: had 600+ infected persons, of 3700 passengers. Americans were evacuated from the ship, evacuated from Japan and flown home by the State Dept. 14 tested positive, now quarantined in Nebraska, and at military bases in Texas and California.
Taxi Cab drivers and physicians reported the problem in Wuhan as early as December 8th-9th.
Official Death toll is 2,800+ (Updated 10:00pm Eastern, February 26, 2020) (could be thousands more) (current “official” dashboard from Johns Hopkins is located at top of thread)
82,163 confirmed cases (could be thousands to millions) confirmed worldwide (Updated 10:00pm Eastern, February 26, 2020) (current “official” dashboard from Johns Hopkins is located at top of thread)
Hardest hit is Hubei province, healthcare system is overloaded, but we’re seeing death tolls reported from Jilin, to Sichuan, to Guangdong to Chongqing – it’s all over China.
Over 863 Police in China infected because of secondary contact.
Japan is second hardest hit. Party on board a boat seems to be the source tracked to 11 who are infected, virus spread from there.
Singapore has over 80 active cases.
Rumors of problems with virus in Thailand among sex workers. Statistics not being reported.
Feb 20th, Sacred Muslim city of Qom, Iran, about 80 miles south of Tehran, has reported 50 cases of Coronavirus, city is shutting down.

As much as 55-60% of China’s physicians have less than a Bachelors degree. Nurses are poorly trained. Latex gloves are rare. Procedure and sterile protocols common in the USA are not so common in China, AND the further we get from large metro centers, the worse it is. More contagious than Seasonal Flu, Spanish Flu, or SARS.
WHO team was allowed into China February 9th. USA has been offering assistance to China since January 6th. WHO team will be confined to Beijing, NOT allowed to travel to Wuhan, only allowed to look at data (which is unreliable).
USA delivered 100 million dollars of AID to China to battle the virus.

Exceptionally valuable information is found in Pandemic Episode 15. Rosemary Gibson, Senior Advisor to the Hastings Center, took three years to investigate the state of Americas pharmaceuticals, culminating in the book “China RX”. Did you know the last aspirin factory in the USA closed down in 2004? Did you know that the USA can no longer MAKE Vitamin C? Did you know tainted heparin from China cause many deaths of American citizens….. it was Made in China. And did you know that our politicians have known about the problem/national security/health security for decades?
Also within this program is an interview with Mike Bowen, Senior VP and owner of Prestige Ameritech, the last manufacturer of N-95 Medical Grade Masks in the USA. It’s an interview which will make you scream in frustration, and cry because of the ineptness of our bureaucrats and trade policies……. The facility used to supply about 79% of the market in the USA until purchased by Kimberly Clark….. shut down and shipped overseas, losing thousands of jobs and endangering Americans. It’s a must watch.
Episodes 18 and 19 discuss a great deal of the economic impact. Resources/interviews include the Director for Apple News In Hong Kong (discusses the healthcare system in communist China), and an associate professor at Fulbright in Saigon who analyzes the microeconomics of China (he’s the one measuring the lumens in China at night). Episode 19 discusses how the USA and India can address the problem of pharma and China virus.
Gail Combs, fellow Treeper, is one of our best researchers. I believe she is a physicist. Wish I could give you her whole bio, yet this is the internet.… Gail has agreed to compile valuable info for us all, found below. Thank you, Gail! And thank you to BakoCarl for more resource links!
WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT THE CHINESE CORONA VIRUS.
1. China does not have enough tests kits to document all suspected cases. The test can easily show a negative for people with the disease. Politically, China has good reason to lie. Also since it is a deep lung infection a cheek or throat swap can give a false positive. Coughed up sputum gives 11% more positives.
2. The virus attaches to ACE2 expressers deep in the lungs. Men have 4 times as many ACE2 expressers as women and are 3 times as likely to get it. Asians have 5 times as many as Africans/Europeans.
In early stats, (Jan2 – 41 people) less than half had underlying diseases BUT it does affect those with chronic inflammatory diseases including diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease (probably asthma too.)
3. Those without symptoms or with very mild symptoms can spread it. It can be spread via coughs, contact surfaces and with feces. Diarrhea is one of the possible symptoms. (Not good for San Fran-feces.)
4. We do not know how many without symptoms may have come over on early flights. Running a temperature many not appear immediately after contact with the virus. ”mean incubation period to be 6.4 (5.6 – 7.7, 95% CI) days, ranging from 2.1 to 11.1 days” https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.01.27.20018986v2
”….time in hospital prior to death 10+ days I think for most of them…. …I have seen several references that said about 25% of confirmed cases get serious complications and something like 15% end up in ICU.” – Larry L.
76% of the confirmed 2019-nCov cases from 1 hospital in Wuhan required oxygen therapy.
6. The first victim here in the USA required a long hospital stay of at least 2 weeks. He was still coughing after two weeks and therefore probably still infectious.
7. People the most at risk are 50 years and over with pre-existing chronic inflammatory diseases. (Patriot Nurse)
♦️ it is an RNA virus that mutates easily, ♦️ it is more contagious than SARS, ♦️ and it can spread from an asymptomatic person.
This means that even someone who has recovered from the virus can transmit it, making it more difficult to curb its spread.
As a result, Hsieh said it is possible that the virus could stay dormant in the body after recovery and come back to haunt the host in winter or when their immune system is weakened…. *
CONCLUSION The virus is probably ‘free’ here in the USA. I t is more severe for men, especially older men and older people with chronic inflammatory disease. It requires a long hospital stay. Children may show little sign of the disease.
THEREFORE the goal is to prevent rapid spread of the disease especially to those over 50 so the hospitals are not overwhelmed. IF the system is overwhelmed the elderly WILL NOT GET CARE!
triage 1a: the sorting of and allocation of treatment to patients and especially battle and disaster victims according to a system of priorities designed to maximize the number of survivors https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/triage
PREVENTION ~ MINIMIZING CONTACT
If you are older stay away from your grand kids! Larry L. suggested a 3 – 6 foot distance from other people, a pathologist suggests 6 to 9 feet.
MASKS ”There is a minimum effective infectious dose. Greater doses increases the likelihood of infection. This also affects the incubation period. The lower the exposure, the longer the time needed for the infection to get going internally; and with that, the longer it will be before that person becomes infections and/or shows symptoms. Recall that most symptoms are due to activation of the immune system, and not from the infection itself.” — cdquarles
For the painter/farmer masks: (N95 or N100) 3m has p100 filters with no sorbents, such as #2091, and then I saw ‘improved’ version #2291 I think. The 2091 are bright fuscia. I think I’ve seen people ambulating near Stanford hospital sporting these as facial fashion. Much easier to breath, and very comfortable with the 7502 ‘faceplate’. I had no sense of ‘rebreathing’ or claustro.
Many people wonder what they can do to NOT get the virus. If we think of Coronavirus like a “super-flu”, it makes sense to follow good general hygiene principles, eat well, and get plenty of rest. Here are some extra hints from Gail.
NUTRITION TO OPTIMIZE IMMUNE SYSTEM High dose Vit C for anti viral activity.
Orthomolecular Medicine News Service, Jan 30, 2020 recomends, VERY HIGH levels of Vitamin C.
Please read the whole article. At the bottom are references and recommended reading.
In summary:
What dosage? Vitamin C fights all types of viruses. Although the dose should truly be high, even a low supplemental amount of vitamin C saves lives. This is very important for those with low incomes and few treatment options. For example, in one well-controlled, randomized study, just 200 mg/day vitamin C given to the elderly resulted in improvement in respiratory symptoms in the most severely ill, hospitalized patients. And there were 80% fewer deaths in the vitamin C group. [7] …The sicker a person was, the more ascorbic acid they would tolerate orally without it causing diarrhea. In a person with an otherwise normal GI tract when they were well, would tolerate 5 to 15 grams of ascorbic acid orally in divided doses without diarrhea….. But to best build up our immune systems, we need to employ large, orthomolecular doses of several vital nutrients. The physicians on the Orthomolecular Medicine News Service review board specifically recommend at least 3,000 milligrams (or more) of vitamin C daily, in divided doses. Vitamin C empowers the immune system and can directly denature many viruses. It can be taken as ascorbic acid (which is sour like vinegar), either in capsules or as crystals dissolved in water or juice. It can also be taken as sodium ascorbate, which is non-acidic. To be most effective, it should be taken to bowel tolerance. This means taking high doses several (or many) times each day. See the references below for more information….
Magnesium: 400 mg daily (in citrate, malate, chelate, or chloride form)…..
Vitamin D3: 2,000 International Units daily. (Start with 5,000 IU/day for two weeks, then reduce to 2,000)…..
Zinc is a powerful antioxidant and is essential for many biochemical pathways. It has been shown to be effective in helping the body fight infections. [20,21] A recommended dose is 20-40 mg/day for adults….
Selenium:100 mcg (micrograms) daily…..
B-complex vitamins and vitamin A: A multivitamin tablet with each meal will supply these conveniently and economically….. Nutritional supplements are not just a good idea. For fighting viruses, they are absolutely essential
From a fellow Q-Treeper (sorry I did not keep the Id) I have added the studies verifying the claims.
A VERY over-simplified version of how viruses work, immune boosting, and what you can do NOW. This is esp helpful for at risk age groups, but good for everyone.
Those spikes you see on virus pics allow it to puncture your cell wall and use the inside of your cell for food. Immune boosters help strengthen your cell wall, among other things.
ELDERBERRY SYRUP – (Sambucus n.) Strengthens your cell walls, and is shown to bind to flu viruses, preventing them from invading cells and replicating.
ASTRAGALUS – Helps increase the bodies production of interferon, and, reduces water retention.
ECHINACEA p. – Provides inulin, which improves white cells ability to fight in part by increasing properdin, increases and activates white cells, signals the body to release interferon. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4058675/
VITAMIN C – Helps the red blood cells transport oxygen thru the body. Your lymphatic system runs along (mostly) the same paths that your blood vessels use. However, your lymph system doesn’t have a “pump” the way your blood vessels have your heart to move things along. Your lymphatic system helps with your blood system to drain out the debris from your dead cell walls, dead virus cell, and white cells, etc. Keeping your lymphatic system clear of debris is why you are told to drink lots of fluids when you get sick. That junk needs to be urinated out, to keep the lanes clear for more white cells to attack the virus. There are also simple excercises that “pump” your lymphatics. These are all online. If you catch a virus, there are more things to add that may help.
So, if you get sick: INCREASE YOUR IMMUNE BOOSTERS!!! like, every couple hours or so. Drink LOT of fluids
NETTLES – Anti-histamine, anti-inflammatory, and diuretic. Is helpful with drying up runny noses, too!
…Phenolic compounds could be defined as biologically active and herbal and have positive effects on health. The scientific researches are increased about the positive effect of phenolic compounds into coronary heart disease and high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, inflammative, viral and parasitic disease, psychotic disorders…
For fever, Tylenol or Motrin. Some people don’t do fever control, as the higher temperatures help kill the virus, but I have seen seizures happen from this, so I think fever control is a good thing. Also, if your body is fight aches and fever, those are cells which can be helping fight the virus instead. Again, very over-simplified, but some steps you can be taking NOW, and some herbs you can look into to see what may work for you and yours.
I recommend looking for the scientific studies (pro and con) that actually support the claims of any health remedy not prescribed by a doctor as I have done above.
DISCLAIMER: I am a chemist and not a doctor. This is just a compilation from comments at both sites that may be of interest to readers. Think for your self!
