Rest in the Lord . . .
As we look around at the corruption and anarchy that seems to be everywhere, we should be mindful of what God’s Word says about the people during what it refers to as the last or latter days. These days are the times preceding what will be the most perilous times ever on this planet . . . the times immediately preceding Christ’s return.
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God – having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. (2 Timothy 3:1-5)
And it will get worse . . .
[The beast] was given power to wage war against the saints and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast – all whose names have not been written from the creation of the world in the book of life belonging to the Lamb who was slain. (Revelation 13:7-8)
Until . . .
For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now – and never to be equaled again. If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of God’s chosen ones, those days will be shortened. (Matthew 24:21-22)
We have a choice. We can be caught up in the events of these last days, possibly immersed in a dreadful fear for our families and ourselves, or we can take advantage of the rest that God has provided in Christ.
Rest in the Lord is a frequently used expression in the Bible. When the psalmist says, “Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him” (Psalm 37:7, NKJV), he’s not talking about physical rest that involves taking a break from activity, relaxing, napping, or stopping to gather strength to continue or complete some physical undertaking. Rest in the Lord refers to a spiritual rest from confusion, worry, stress, useless human effort, and a break from all internal, external, mortal, and spiritual enemies.
The Hebrew word translated as “rest” means “to be at peace,” “to be still,” “to be quiet or calm.” In place of “rest in the Lord,” some Bible translations say, “Be still before the Lord” (ESV and NIV), “Be silent before the Lord”(CSB), “Surrender yourself to the Lord” (GW), and “Be still in the presence of the Lord” (NLT). These versions convey the essential idea that to rest and be at peace, one must dwell in the presence of the Lord, surrendered to His lordship.
In the Old Testament, God promised the people of Israel a life of peace in the Promised Land and rest in His presence (Exodus 33:14; Joshua 1:13 – 15). But this restful, peaceful living depended on the Israelites remaining faithful and obedient to God alone by keeping their covenant with Him. To those whose hearts strayed from Him, God said they would never enjoy His rest (Psalm 95:7 – 11).
Eventually, because of widespread disobedience and unfaithfulness, the nation of Israel was taken into captivity in Babylon. After returning from exile, once again, the promise of rest in the Lord’s presence was presented: “So do not be afraid, Jacob, my servant; do not be dismayed, Israel . . . For I will bring you home again from distant lands, and your children will return from their exile. Israel will return to a life of peace and quiet, and no one will terrorize them” (Jeremiah 30:10, NLT).
But, again, the people failed to learn that resting in the Lord meant surrendering wholly to the Lord in righteous living: “The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever” (Isaiah 32:17).
In the New Testament, the book of Hebrews declares the good news that those who believe in Jesus Christ can enter His rest: “God’s promise of entering his rest still stands, so we ought to tremble with fear that some of you might fail to experience it. For this good news – that God has prepared this rest – has been announced to us just as it was to them. But it did them no good because they didn’t share the faith of those who listened to God. For only we who believe can enter his rest” (Hebrews 4:1 – 3, NLT).
As believers, we are not granted immunity from life’s storms, but we have a choice about how we react to those storms. Our natural tendency might be to run around frantically looking for help, trying to save ourselves from trouble. We can either respond frenetically or rest in the Lord’s presence. We can either waste our time worrying or trust in the Lord to take care of us.
Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light” (Matthew 11:28 – 30, NLT).
The writer of Hebrews also tells us that there is a future, final rest for believers in heaven (Hebrews 4:9–11). In the meantime, we can rest in the Lord by taking everything – all our burdens, problems, and anxieties—to Him in prayer. We can tell God what we need even as we remember and thank Him for all that He has done for us already.
As we do this – as we abide in Jesus Christ and God’s presence – He promises to pour into us a supernatural, incomprehensible peace to guard our hearts and minds (Philippians 4:6 – 7).
Right here and now, we can quiet ourselves, be still, and surrender ourselves to the Lord. We can see Him as Isaiah did, high and lifted up (Isaiah 6:1). He is Sovereign over the whole earth, over our lives, and over every enemy, both internal and external, human and spiritual (Isaiah 46:9 – 11). We can peacefully wait for Him. We can be steadfast, longing, and always looking to Him for help. This is how we rest in the Lord.

I expressed concern in yesterday’s daily thread about loved ones who have been vaccinated and how to help them if needed. Then I just read about the founder of Kool and the Gang dying in his sleep at age 70.

I have no idea whether he had been vaccinated, but it occurs to me that some of the vaxed don’t get sick; they just die — and I am even more concerned about loved ones. It’s a time of trial for faith and trust, to be sure.
Prayers for you and your loved ones, TheseTruths. The youngest son of one of my cousins also just developed covid and his mom has asked us for prayers, first a few days ago and again today. Like you, I do not pry but I’m there and letting her know I’m praying for her son too. The roar of the lies has been so loud and long. In the end, prayers are our best protection against the evil and as Bakocarl shows us, we can put our trust in the Lord.

Oh, thanks for this, Wolf!! I have often looked back on my life and thought I was a witness to things that at the time I did not understand. At times, it has been like walking blindfolded through a minefield and ending up on the other side somehow unscathed. So I thank God a lot every day and know no matter what, I am truly blessed.

I’m in the same boat. It seems that my sister, only one of my brothers and I are the holdouts among family and friends. Not everyone is advertising their status, but it just seems to be that way.

A couple nights ago, emergency vehicles showed up in my neighborhood. They were here quite a while. Whenever that happens, we gather in the street to compare notes. It was an older lady two doors down. She and her hubby are devoted Dims, so it is probably safe to assume they both got jabbed, although I don’t know obviously. She was a slim woman, pretty fit and active, gardened a lot. Had a massive heart attack. Coded three times before they could transport her.
Clot shot? I wonder. I will always wonder now whenever I hear of someone, like the founder of Kool and the Gang.
We have some people at Marica’s with family and friends who were fully vaccinated and who are now experiencing serious illnesses and hospitalizations. One is not expected to live.
The consequences are starting to hit home.

A member of a group I attend died a couple of months ago. He was diabetic but functioning, and not elderly. He did not show up to the group and someone had a wellness check done. It looked as if he had gotten groceries and collapsed.
We have not been able to find out his cause of death, though I know a relative has his autopsy report. They are not forthcoming. I know he had been vaccinated.
This is the kind of thing that makes you wonder who’s next. And there is often some underlying health condition, or age, that the death can be blamed on.
We are witnesses, indeed, to pure evil. In addition to the health concerns and decisions we have to make, the pressure to get vaccinated, the erosion of trust in our institutions and professionals, and the deaths we witness, the uncertainty of what will happen and who has been affected are oppressive and evidence of that evil.
Joe Biden laments the death of ‘close personal friend’ AFL-CIO head Richard Trumka, who opposed vaccine mandates for his union members. He died “unexpectedly” of a heart attack, making you wonder if he got vaccinated.
In Israel, “95% of the severe patients are vaccinated, and 85-90% of the hospitalizations are in fully vaccinated people.” It is looking like at least there, the sudden rise in COVID hospitalizations is not a new variant, but rather ADE in the vaccinated. It makes me wonder if the Delta variant is no different and it’s just a cover for ADE, which they created month’s back just in case they needed it, and now they need it. If that is the case, this will be a debacle of historic proportions. Given Fauci’s intimate involvement, I am unsurprised.
In Gibraltar, 99% are vaccinated and cases and deaths are rapidly rising. They are locking down again. So get everyone vaccinated, and it may end up as if nobody was vaccinated.

I’m so over medical authorities, peer review, and their guides for clinical practice. While we wait for them to see the light — if they ever do — people are dying.
This is why it pays to be able to read the scientific literature and make quality judgments from limited, early data. There are good ways to read research and understand what different errors would mean, and how likely they are. Based on that, one can have trust in different aspects of the work.
Didier Raoult’s early work had that impervious quality. His analysis of virus titres showed reductions that meant HCQ “worked” no matter if his work had HUGE errors.

A team of over 1,000 lawyers and over 10,000 medical experts led by Dr. Reiner Fuellmich have begun legal proceedings against the CDC, WHO & the Davos Group for crimes against humanity.
Fuellmich and his team present the faulty PCR test and the order for doctors to label any comorbidity death as a Covid death as fraud. The PCR test was never designed to detect pathogens and is 100% faulty at 35 cycles. All the PCR tests overseen by the CDC are set at 37 to 45 cycles. The CDC admits that any tests over 28 cycles are not admissible for a positive reliable result. This alone invalidates over 90% of the alleged covid cases / ”infections” tracked by the use of this faulty test.
In addition to the flawed tests and fraudulent death certificates, the “experimental” vaccine itself is in violation of Article 32 of the Geneva Convention.
Under Article 32 of the 1949 Geneva Convention IV, “mutilation and medical or scientific experiments not necessitated by the medical treatment of a protected person” are prohibited. According to Article 147, conducting biological experiments on protected persons is a grave breach of the Convention.

At the beginning of that video (10 sec) he says he is the DEVELOPER of logistic genomics that can be used to determine the INTENT of communication rather than the LITERAL ARTIFACT of communication.

I think much of the time Martin is telling the truth but you have to watch him like a hawk since he is a grand master of communication.

Gail, In the first statement he makes and written as a headline in the 7 minute video, he called it “linguistic genomics” and that fits with the concept of analyzing communications. In your post above, you write “logistic genomics” and perhaps that’s one of those pesky spell check mis-corrections. There is a huge difference in the meaning of the two terms. I haven’t listened again to the entire 7 minutes. Perhaps along the way he said “logistic genomics.” Let me relisten to be sure.
Radar went up when he called out Gates and Margie Taylor Greene as not being genuine, claiming they had all info and are doing nothing (notes congressmen don’t have the staff that Senators have to run his kind of allegations to ground, he should know better, but perhaps he thinks we do not). He said the only one he trusts is Ron Johnson. Currently taking him with salt and will have to shift is words.

I was surprised about his comments regarding MTG.
Gaetz I’m never sure about. Some days he seems on the up and up, some days I give him the side-eye.
But Dr. Martin did call them out by name, and he is in a position to know whether he provided the information to them, or not.
In the same way he claims to be certain Rand Paul is just playing the game too. He knows Rand Paul had the ammo to absolutely destroy Fauci at every hearing, but Rand always held back the kill-shot.
How does Dr. Martin know?
Because he gave Rand Paul the info.

Is it possible MTG is a plant, a “MAGA” plant, an enemy disguised to look like a super patriot?
Sure, it’s possible, that’s a big part of what war is all about, deception is routine.
How would we know?
It’s not like enemy news would ever rat her out.
I don’t know if she is or she isn’t, I don’t know if Dr. Martin is or he isn’t.
The nature of war, and the capabilities of the enemy, and the complete and total absence of anyone on our side (white hots?) telling us anything truthful, honest or verifiable, means we’re screwed.
There’s no way for us to know anything with certainty.
The entire concept of fighting a ‘secret’ war, where the white hots never acknowledge a war is going on, so the Public never knows a war is going on, has been a catastrophic idea from the beginning.
As only one example, what happens if the white hots lose?
How would We the People ever know?
Especially if the enemy could plant hope seeds for the faithful to latch onto, for year after year after year (after year), years after the war was already over and won by the enemy?
There is all kinds of bad with the ‘keep the war secret from the People’ goofball strategy, and that’s just one of them.
Another one is that you have to be of a mindset that you are better than the People, if you think you can fight WWIII without the knowledge or participation of We the People in the outcome of our own futures.
That takes an elitist mindset no different from the enemy’s.
There are a hundred different kinds of wrong with this strategy, and not one thing good about it that has yet come to light.
As I said, I would not expect a congressmen to be able to dig on his material the way a Senator could. It’s one thing to call out Ron Paul and a totally separate thing to call out Gates or MTG.
I also notice that he gives a pass on the virus originating from Wuhan. In that regard he’s on a separate sheet of music than everyone else or he’s not speaking clearly to the point, or everyone’s wrong and he’s right. At this point I’d not rule out him being a deep plant of China or the Cabal, who has been quietly been telling the truth of somethings but in such a manner that no one would listen or hear and now activated to come forward now that Wuhan is believed to be at the center of this. Either way, he’s bringing truths, full or half and we have to sort it.
IMHO, we probably can’t do a direct squeeze on Wuhan, as in “it’s all their fault.” Too many were trained by Baric in NC, funded by Fauci in DC, constructed by the French….

Yes, that is a definite departure point. If I understand correctly, his position is that the virus was manufactured and patented a long time ago (SARS-Cov-1) or the more recent version, which was patented prior to the original outbreak in Wuhan circa late 2019.
The patents are apparently a matter of public record, so they can be verified by anyone who knows how to use that system and look them up.
The patents have the names of all the main players (Fauci, Ralph Baric, et al), and other evidence proves that Sequoia Corp., who submitted the ‘vaccine’ for Covid 3 days after Covid was patented, was then bought out or absorbed by J&J and Moderna (IIRC).
It was not possible for Sequoia Corp. to create a vaccine for a virus whose patent was not yet published, because you can’t make a vaccine for a thing that doesn’t exist yet.
These are all matters of public record and verifiable, with names and timelines that make an open and shut case.
The first time I watched it, all I could think was this is ‘game over’.
If Dr. Martin is right, the entire crime — means, motive and opportunity — are all known and proven.
So there was no need for the virus to be released in Wuhan, and then find it’s way here. It could have been released anywhere, or everywhere, simultaneously or consecutively, because it was already registered at the U.S. Patent Office before the outbreak.
As was the vaccine.

Either his claims are verifiable or they aren’t.

Have the people who are questioning Dr. Martin’s claims watched the hour and twenty minute video (interviewed by the German), and the hour long video interview with Stew Peters?
The Stew Peters interview is a little more sensational. The hour and twenty minute video with the German interviewer is the most comprehensive and direct.
I don’t know if the people who are questioning Dr. Martin’s credibility have watched the longer video interview, or not.
If they have not, then I understand why they are asking questions, but the questions are addressed in the video.
If they have watched the video to conclusion, then I’m not sure why Dr. Martin’s credibility is relevant, because the information he lays out speaks for itself — unless he is making up evidence out of whole cloth, which would be easily verifiable, and destroy his credibility very quickly.
We enter into the possibility of half truths here. Everything he says could be right, likely right, but what else is there to know? What little technicalities might invalidate or ambiguate what? He says he spoke this stuff around May of 2020, but no one took him up on it. Also Stew Peters is not the go to guy, while I’ve also not seen his stuff on GWP who just adores red meat. One thing for sure, he’s smart and can talk this stuff forward, back and sideways. Wondering if Bannon and Navarro have picked him up yet. Haven’t noticed that but doesn’t always do the War Room stuff.

My mom and I had a discussion on her driveway one time as I was preparing to drive away. I should back up a second…..my mom is the smartest person I know. She is scary smart. It seems that people are getting hung up on the Wuhan aspect.
Whether the virus first manifested in Wuhan or not, if what he (Dr. Martin) says is true, it would appear that the evidence in the public record proves conspiracy to commit global medical fraud for profit, leading to mass murder with premeditation and malice aforethought, with the primary criminals identified by name in the relevant Patents and other public records.
For an analogy, suppose we were talking about a never before known virus called Death-Kill.
Suppose Fauci and Ralph Baric created Death-Kill in a lab and patented it, and another company patented a vaccine for it, before the patent for Death-Kill was even approved or publicly published (which would be impossible without collusion/conspiracy).
Then the company that patented the vaccine for Death-Kill was absorbed by J&J and Moderna, which are financially connected to the same people who invented Death-Kill virus (Fauci, Baric, et al).
Then there is an outbreak of Death-Kill virus somewhere in the world, and everything that unfolded after Covid unfolds in exactly the same way with Death-Kill (the hypothetical virus used for this analogy).
It matters not at all WHERE the virus originally manifested, whether it was in Wuhan or Timbuktu or Shangri-La or Milwaukee.
No matter where the virus first showed up, the evidence in the Patents and the timeline and the financial beneficiaries prove an open and shut case, such that there can be no ‘innocent excuse’ or additional information which mitigates or explains these specific factual outcomes.
The people who patented the virus would not have released it into the world unless they could (and intended to) profit mightily from it.
They did, and they are.
So even if the virus outbreak first occurred on Mars or Jupiter, it is irrelevant to the facts which prove the crime and the criminals who did it.
There are certainly many more conspirators involved than just those listed on the Patents (Fauci, Baric, et al), but if I understand correctly, Fauci and Baric are caught dead to rights.

Chamberlin Rock, located on top of Observatory Hill, is named in honor of Thomas Crowder Chamberlin, a geologist and former university president. But for some students of color on campus, the rock represents a painful history of discrimination.
The boulder was referred to as a “n——-head” — a commonly used expression in the 1920s to describe any large dark rock — at least once in a 1925 Wisconsin State Journal story. University historians have not found any other time that the term was used but said the Ku Klux Klan was active on campus at that time.

Trying this, you have to pay attention to the drop down options to start the page search. If you are on this page, you would go to the Address Bar at top of screen and type over the address with “ozzy” for example.
Once you’ve typed your search target, “ozzy”, into the top address bar, a menu drops down that allows you to pick (bottom option): One This Page > Find “ozzy”. When you tap on the “Find “ozzy” menu line, a ribbon appears at the bottom of the screen.

The federal government gave at least $2.7 million in taxpayer money to researchers who sought out minority babies who had been aborted in order to harvest their organs, to create a “pipeline” for fetal research. I remember something from the Q period implying the child traffickers preferred minority children, such as from Haiti for some reason. In some sense the idea of differences in viral load is a distraction, but in others the idea matters, because it shuts down the insanity, and they are trying desperately, for all their reasons, to keep the insanity going.
I’m beginning to wonder what traditional Chy-nah knows about creating and releasing infectious disease. Their track record of creating pandemics like this goes back to the plague. All influenza viruses originate there.

Just a random memory thing….
I went out and got a couple of chicken skewers from “Nick the Greek”, a chain of food places.
The person who took my order and assembled it was a tiny (sub 100 lbs.) Filipina. Which made me smile because she reminded me of a woman I’d trained in internal audit many years ago.
When SARBOX (which, mind you, was horrific Congressional overreach and a YUGE net negative for America) rolled out, there was a need for an Internal Audit function to do compliance audits. I joined up with a Consulting firm to do this for a local public company.
I started to see how such a thing might come together and be reasonably cost effective, but it involved a serious re-think from traditional auditing. Among other things, you couldn’t move into a function — say “accounts payable” — and shut it down and test it for a week. You could, however, test it twice a week for 10 minutes….for multiple weeks. We’d then take the results and summarize them in a computer database.
We had a person around who was originally hired to re-file the files that auditors had trampled through….so we used her as a guinea pig in developing this approach. We started getting very useful results and, as it turns out, she had a real knack for it. We exercised this approach over months and got really good at it.
So, when it came time to extend the process to a large overseas subsidiary, we were ready. We were up to — IIRC — four testers by this time, and they were all very, very good. But if I’m going to be stuck in the UK (the place under examination, you could see the keep of Windsor Castle out the window at the end of the hallway), I’m going to bring my best.
We flew over — I was wedged into the #@$^@ seat and couldn’t even sit flat, while she kept shifting corners like it was a couch. We did some nominal stuff in the afternoon to try to reset body clocks. I didn’t see her until breakfast the next morning — she bounced out of jetlag like a champ; I felt like I had been hit by a truck. So we go over to the client. The door was up a short flight of stairs — I was hauling a case with all the equipment. I’m in a pinstriped charcoal “death suit”, she’s wearing tennies. They see us walking in and they reacted like I’d brought someone’s kid on a junket…..
And we got cubes, and set her up in one with her computer and tests (when we designed the system, we knew that it HAD to have “TPS forms”, so the TPS sheets were tests to be done and they were inputted to the computer by TPS form number). We had to put a box under her feet because they didn’t touch the ground. And I started wandering around, getting in conversations, and pulling files and grabbing documents and stacking them on her desk, where I’d slap a TPS on ’em. At one point in the afternoon, she had stacks of stuff arrayed around her so that you couldn’t even see she was sitting there. When she was done, I’d take the source documents back and refile them. I peeked in as I was moving documents — she was “in the zone”.
We were supposed to have a 4:30 meeting to review the day before everyone bailed at 5:00. We started the meeting with, “she did 37 tests, you were out of compliance on 25, this meeting will serve notice on the 8 that are serious enough to bring to the notice of local management, and 3 have been reported to corporate management.”
We then got the full court press: Was the test fair? Was the data real? Were the results accurate? Could they be proved? Was that really meaningful? Everything was in our audit workpapers who were prepared by the best I had. The meeting ended at about 6:00.
When we walked in, on the morning of Day 2, they were far more wary of me…..but they were outright scared of her. She was the finest steel, and I’d honed her to a razor edge — later, she noted a point where a revenue manager back in the US computed an overall returns and allowances figure in dollars and subtracted a previous allowance in Euros (that had to be reported to the Board of Directors)…..she was so, so sharp….
So I got my chicken skewers from a young lady who sent me on a reverie…..I’m likely overweight by more than her entire body mass — but you cannot assume there is anything tiny about her abilities.
I can still remember. I’m slogging up the stupid stairs with 90 pounds of laptops, printers, paper (they use A4, all our filing was letter), pens, and crud — jetlagged as hell, and she’s boppin’ up, looking like she’s fresh from Junior High….
And the looks we got as we were setting up her workspace….
I knew full well what she was capable of, and had written 80%+ of the tests (and could rewrite future tests “on the fly” if needed). I was very close to “get her set up before I passed out”.
And everything clicked.
I think I did one other with her, sent her on another one with an assistant, and another one solo to clean up prior to filing annual reports with the SEC. Just amazing natural talent — if she said that X was Y, it was thoroughly documented in the workpapers with appropriate references.
Sadly, she soon left internal audit to work in HR — for a person who lives about two blocks from me who I met at her wedding. To make it even more bizarre, her boss at the time was the ex-wife of a guy I used to work with a few companies back from the Internal Audit gig….who lives about two blocks from me in a different direction.
Sounds cozy! Maybe too, but I’m not hearing any “bad cozy”! 😆

The way this is SUPPOSED to work is that security researchers create a CVE record for software that can be hacked, but it is hidden. The researchers put all this documentation on the site, then alert the people responsible for the software. The software peeps then fix the problem, and the “cover” is removed for all to see. That all sounds nice — Truth, Justice, and The American Way.
Unfortunately, anything old and out-of-support will still have hacks documented, but nobody is going to fix them. It’s like a roster of “how to hack this old thing” in database form.

Photos and memes are a different problem – can’t port by hand. Get a new email, perhaps (specifically for this purpose, then ditch it), and email them one-by one to the “new” phone (assuming you’ll want email capability, rather than just voice / text).
Or, just save (archive) all the photos / memes to a DVD, or a memory-stick, and retain them that way (on a real computer). Easier to do, though immediate phone-access is somewhat baffled.
Also, any news / public photos, btw, can be independently accessed on sites like TinEye. One may save them from there, rather than having personal “tags” (meta-data”) on them.
(I still haven’t found out how to STRIP that “metadata”, btw.)

Well, to begin with, all cellphones spy on you — so the first recommendation is to keep pictures and memes off of cellphones. If you want something much like a cellphone merely to share pictures and memes, take any old cellphone and physically disable its radio (as in, perhaps, desolder the chip or remove the module). Anything you have done on an Apple device before now is probably archived somewhere — and you can’t do much about it. Going forward, the trick is to maintain separation. Do pictures with a camera that has SD cards. Use separate GPS’s. Don’t browse the web on the same computer you use for online banking. With Apple, their co-mixing is insidious — take a picture on your iPhone and see it on your iPad!!! Make a calendar entry on your iPad and have it beep your iPhone to remind you!

Another ground report from Michigan music-land. Yesterday we were in Lansing (Witchmer’s stomping grounds) at an outdoor amphitheater concert venue in a public park. There were 3 different bands, blues/rock, jazz quintet, & black gospel–the hosts of the event. The crowd was about 1/2 black & half white. Everyone in our band, blues/rock, had family from Metro Detroit make the journey to support the home team. The MC was out of Chicago, which may also be the home turf of the jazz group, who were amazing & heading to New York directly after that event.
I only saw one white person wearing a mask. Of the black attendees there were about 25% who were masking, including about half of them who appeared to never remove the mask 🙁 The MC, also black, had mentioned wanting to hug everyone but knowing it wasn’t OK due to social distancing “requirements”. I approached her when the event was over & offered a hug, which she took, but only After putting her mask on. I made some off the cuff remarks about how much the gov’t was lying about pretty much everything Covid. She was convinced it was real because she knew so many people who’d “died from it.” I mentioned natural immunity, which might last for life, & that I had it since I’d already had Covid. She had taken 2 shots & had no issues from them (Pfizer?). I warned her about the booster shots being very dangerous & encouraged her not to take them–she probably thinks I’m a loon & will disregard everything I said…
Our band’s drummer is an old friend from our old church & he & my husband have played together in other bands & worship venues. His ex-son-in-law had just been found dead the other day (by his mother & 7 year old son 🙁 ) & was known to have Guian Barre (sp). He had recently taken the death jab & it appeared to be associated w/ his death, imo. Drummer & I spoke again after eating a meal out & he mentioned how aligned we were politically per conversations we’d had a few months back at a friend’s wedding. He was lamenting how he might “have” to take the shot for work. I shared some details w/ him that my husband called “firehose” (as in tons of info coming fast & furious) & also mentioned the Q-Tree as a very helpful resource. He didn’t seem to know about ADE & the level of risk of the “vax” & boosters & he works in a health related field…
We were in 2 restaurants in Lansing, a fast food chain, & a local oriental hole in the wall shop. At fast food there was a masking sign on the door w/ graphic examples of various types of face coverings they considered acceptable & patrons were Encouraged to wear. Hubby ordered food & was asked to fill out covid paperwork if we were to be dining in (we weren’t). He described how that paperwork was under the Nunya Policy, as is that info is Nunya Business! The staff were largely masked there but I saw no customers in face diapers, though both times we stopped in (there were no bathrooms at our venue) there were few patrons. No signs or masks at the hole in the wall restaurant.
So, if there weren’t people covering their faces Outside, & if people on microphones didn’t keep mentioning covid it could almost have felt like a normal summer outdoor concert event. People sat in small groups, chatted, & hugged each other. Most seemed to ignore masks & social distancing. From that brief event it appeared that blacks were way more cautious/fearful about covid, even outdoors, but I probably observed less than 100 people, so who knows.
Another brief observation, my husband put on a pre-season football game the other night & there were almost No visible masks, including on sidelines, & commercials–thankfully finally! It Almost came across as relatively normal & gave me the impression that America wasn’t open to going full mask nazi again. The game was in Pittsburgh & vs Dallas. Contrast that w/ watching a few minutes of the Olympics on the Canadian channel, CBC. There were masks & mitigating measures everywhere, including in many commercials. That gave the impression that covid is wildly raging & people were bravely taking their lives in their hands to remove the masks to compete, etc. Honestly it was pretty depressing!
Edit add on, the wedding planner, an old friend from our old church, who lives in a neighboring suburb had vax questioners come to her door the other day–disturbing!

I suspect all these damning photos/videos coming out of the Obama party are misdirection. I suspect that the real purpose of this party was to plot, scheme, and get everyone on the same page in case Mike Lindell’s upcoming cyber symposium actually delivers on election rigging proof. To determine anything concerning insider trading one would need to see buy dates in association with passed legislation. You would also need to see her entire portfolio and if she’s like most investors she has professional help. If she bought any of these stocks why they were in a rut and she was among a tiny percentage that did, then they spiked, there might be some concern she was using inside knowledge. If she got in early on a spike that would just mean she has a saavy broker. Some of these stocks have seen great gains recently, but the market has had some serious ups and downs over the past few years where it is easy even with out a broker to make good gains in the market.

Most of her trades are being done in blocks, which suggest she’s timing the market like others do. 9 trades on 16 June, 1 trade on 2 June, 9 trades on 19 May, 6 trades on 18 May, 8 trades on 16 Apr. Most trades are in that 1,000 – 15,000 block. And yes, sees she went big with Apple twice that day, but it was a large drop in the market and in a Biden Market they protect him so you know the market is going to bounce right back.
If anything it might be the 1 trade on 2 June I’d look at, but again it’s in that 1,000 to 15,000 range so likely nothing. Not sure what the DC code under issuer means though. All other codes were “joint”.

AMD is a CPU development company, for example the Ryzen processors, and they have been doing quite well for the last three years (thanks to Lisa Su and Jim Keller, who helped AMD with their last HUGE wins and is one of the top CPU designers out there). Since Intel has made some *cough* bad decisions (no RISC, not fun, as they say) and are stuck on older, less efficients nodes, AMD looks like a good investment to just about anyone but the most diehard Intel fanbois and fangirlz… They also develop and produce graphics cards (having bought with severe indigestion ATI) and that part is starting to do better, especially with BitCoin miners returning to the scene…

Regarding pagination, I wonder if it would be easier for me to move between pages if the pages each had 50 comments or some amount smaller than we ever had. I’m just thinking out loud. I do find it a little easier with no page breaks, but people like pagination, and the fact is, it’s hard to see everything when one can’t just glance down the pages, and I spend hoours and hours cruising q-tree. I never did find the refresh button people mentioned. I’ll just deal with it, as they say. I love this blog and the people here. Think I saw you post someone in your life had had covid, and I’m sorry for that.

The more I play with the situation, I just think it’s all hard, but the q-tree is just worth it, isn’t it? I think the people on here make it so special, and I’m glad Wolf didn’t kick CTHULHU off, even if he shouldn’t have made that joke, which I didn’t even get, not that I tried to, just skimmed over it. Well, CTHULHU will handle whatever happens, and he won’t misbehave again, I don’t think.

This was a Mac, which has a function where you can highlight text and have it read it to you.
I wish i could help with a reader for your dad. I knew someone who used one, and I think he got it used from someone he knew. But I think the readers have probably advanced greatly since that time. Checking with a local or national low-vision organization might help (but you probably know that). Good luck.
I’m very much encouraged by the latest release of the Raspberry Pi OS having a built-in ORCA reader. Plus, ORCA (the browser version) is FOSS and lives on github and I’ve got a git clone (ran into trouble with workflow/environment). There are a lot of things happening that I expect to see blossom shortly….meanwhile, those who need it, needed it YESTERDAY.

I’m not sure what would make it easier for you. I think the “refresh” they are talking about is the one that any computer has (not one specific to this site), where you can reload any page you’re on.

Yes, refresh button is not on the page, but on the browser you use. Some would consider the whole thing to be part of the page, but it is not , as it is part of the frame that is on top of the page. Normally to the right of the web address just past the Home button and before the Back/Forward button for most browsers. Of course some people custom the frame to be on the bottom below the page.
Zoe uses a web-reader, so “top”, “bottom”, “right”, and “left” aren’t available in the sense we normally think of them.

Yeah i wont eat either one. I eat boca burgers but only if i want a burger, not the fake chicken. Morningstar which is kelloggs has really raised prices and their blend i cannot tolerate. Here i am unable to eat meat except chicken and some fish and this fake stuff went from decent substitute to these frankenfoods!
I occasionally have to cook for vegetarian visitors and there are some good bean burger recipes out there. Don’t have the texture of meat, of course, but very tasty. And I imagine ground chicken, with the right seasonings, etc. would make a pretty good burger, too.
Ground chicken isnt bad and i suppose i could go that route. Some bean burgers are good too. My son prefers ground chicken meatballs to turkey.

Yes, Cates has sunk in the opinion of a lot of patriots. I just found that his article brought up some things I didn’t know about.
With Lindell, I’m trying not to get my hopes up too much because just about every “tick-tock” prediction we’ve been presented with, by anyone, has been underwhelming.
I find it hard to believe that Lindell’s experts would not know the things that skeptics have brought up. I also find it hard to believe that we’re going to see the proof we’re looking for. I admire Lindell’s courage and hard work and pray for the success of the event.

I’m sure that some of the effects of both virus and vaccine are due to brain, but much is DIRECT, and we know this from vaccine migration data.
Aging would be the opposite of what the elite want for themselves. I wonder how many of them have had the actual vaccine.
