Rest in the Lord . . .

As we look around at the corruption and anarchy that seems to be everywhere, we should be mindful of what God’s Word says about the people during what it refers to as the last or latter days. These days are the times preceding what will be the most perilous times ever on this planet . . . the times immediately preceding Christ’s return.

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God – having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. (2 Timothy 3:1-5)

And it will get worse . . .

[The beast] was given power to wage war against the saints and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast – all whose names have not been written from the creation of the world in the book of life belonging to the Lamb who was slain. (Revelation 13:7-8)

Until . . .

For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now – and never to be equaled again. If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of God’s chosen ones, those days will be shortened.  (Matthew 24:21-22)

We have a choice. We can be caught up in the events of these last days, possibly immersed in a dreadful fear for our families and ourselves, or we can take advantage of the rest that God has provided in Christ.

Rest in the Lord is a frequently used expression in the Bible. When the psalmist says, “Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him” (Psalm 37:7, NKJV), he’s not talking about physical rest that involves taking a break from activity, relaxing, napping, or stopping to gather strength to continue or complete some physical undertaking. Rest in the Lord refers to a spiritual rest from confusion, worry, stress, useless human effort, and a break from all internal, external, mortal, and spiritual enemies.

The Hebrew word translated as “rest” means “to be at peace,” “to be still,” “to be quiet or calm.” In place of “rest in the Lord,” some Bible translations say, “Be still before the Lord” (ESV and NIV), “Be silent before the Lord”(CSB), “Surrender yourself to the Lord” (GW), and “Be still in the presence of the Lord” (NLT). These versions convey the essential idea that to rest and be at peace, one must dwell in the presence of the Lord, surrendered to His lordship.

In the Old Testament, God promised the people of Israel a life of peace in the Promised Land and rest in His presence (Exodus 33:14; Joshua 1:13 – 15). But this restful, peaceful living depended on the Israelites remaining faithful and obedient to God alone by keeping their covenant with Him. To those whose hearts strayed from Him, God said they would never enjoy His rest (Psalm 95:7 – 11).

Eventually, because of widespread disobedience and unfaithfulness, the nation of Israel was taken into captivity in Babylon. After returning from exile, once again, the promise of rest in the Lord’s presence was presented: “So do not be afraid, Jacob, my servant; do not be dismayed, Israel . . . For I will bring you home again from distant lands, and your children will return from their exile. Israel will return to a life of peace and quiet, and no one will terrorize them” (Jeremiah 30:10, NLT).

But, again, the people failed to learn that resting in the Lord meant surrendering wholly to the Lord in righteous living: “The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever” (Isaiah 32:17).

In the New Testament, the book of Hebrews declares the good news that those who believe in Jesus Christ can enter His rest: “God’s promise of entering his rest still stands, so we ought to tremble with fear that some of you might fail to experience it. For this good news – that God has prepared this rest – has been announced to us just as it was to them. But it did them no good because they didn’t share the faith of those who listened to God. For only we who believe can enter his rest” (Hebrews 4:1 – 3, NLT).

As believers, we are not granted immunity from life’s storms, but we have a choice about how we react to those storms. Our natural tendency might be to run around frantically looking for help, trying to save ourselves from trouble. We can either respond frenetically or rest in the Lord’s presence. We can either waste our time worrying or trust in the Lord to take care of us.

Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light” (Matthew 11:28 – 30, NLT).

The writer of Hebrews also tells us that there is a future, final rest for believers in heaven (Hebrews 4:9–11). In the meantime, we can rest in the Lord by taking everything – all our burdens, problems, and anxieties—to Him in prayer. We can tell God what we need even as we remember and thank Him for all that He has done for us already.

As we do this – as we abide in Jesus Christ and God’s presence – He promises to pour into us a supernatural, incomprehensible peace to guard our hearts and minds (Philippians 4:6 – 7).

Right here and now, we can quiet ourselves, be still, and surrender ourselves to the Lord. We can see Him as Isaiah did, high and lifted up (Isaiah 6:1). He is Sovereign over the whole earth, over our lives, and over every enemy, both internal and external, human and spiritual (Isaiah 46:9 – 11). We can peacefully wait for Him. We can be steadfast, longing, and always looking to Him for help. This is how we rest in the Lord.

Learn to Rest

We all need short vacations
In life’s fast and maddening race –
An interlude of quietness
From the constant, jet-age pace.
So when your day is pressure-packed
And your hours are all too few,
Just close your eyes and meditate
And let God talk to you . . .
For when we keep on pushing,
We’re not following in God’s way –
We are foolish, selfish robots
Mechanized to fill each day
With unimportant trivia
That makes life more complex
And gives us greater problems
To irritate and vex.
So when your nervous network
Becomes a tangled mess,
Just close your eyes in silent prayer
And ask the Lord to bless
Each thought that you are thinking
Each decision you must make,
As well as every word you speak
And every step you take –
For only by the grace of God
Can you gain self-control,
And only meditative thoughts
Can restore your peace OF soul.

  • – Helen Steiner Rice

On this day and every day –

God is in Control
. . . and His Grace is Sufficient, so . . .
Keep Looking Up

Hopefully, every Sunday, we can find something here that will build us up a little . . . give us a smile . . . and add some joy or peace, very much needed in all our lives.

“This day is holy to the Lord your God;
do not mourn nor weep.” . . .
“Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet,
and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared;
for this day is holy to our Lord.
Do not sorrow,
for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

This now needs to be said:
May the Almighty God, in His righteous wrath, stop Dr. Anthony “Fauci-Mengele”.
Credit to USA TODAY

“Dr. Anthony Fauci: Expect ‘a flood’ of COVID-19 vaccine mandates after full FDA approval”

Fauci said that while a federal “vaccine” mandate may not be in the cards, full FDA approval will be the go-ahead for workplaces, schools, and hospitals to require “vaccination”.
GET THIS: FTA: “With more than 70% having had at least one dose of vaccine, the epidemic has shifted to one of the unvaccinated, he [Fauci] said.”

His wrath, when it comes, will be biblical.

Hitler would have been proud of Fauci Mengele.
He is creating a horror scene in this country and yes he needs to be stopped.

Last I looked it was 56% having at least one dose, but I much prefer Biden’s 106%.

Biden mistakenly says 350M Americans are vaccinated

2 days agoBiden almost certainly meant to say that about 350 million COVID-19 vaccine doses had been administered, as is indicated by CDC data. But those doses were administered to about 193 million people.

Joe Biden says 350 million Americans have been vaccinated …

Mr Biden paused briefly to check his notes, saying: “Well over – what’s the number again, I’ll remind myself – 350 million Americans have already been vaccinated. They’re doing fine.” It’s possible Mr Biden had mistakenly referred to the number of vaccine doses administered in the United States, which is almost 350 million.

Biden says 350 million Americans are vaccinated….US population is ~330 million … He means 350 million doses have been administered. Most of the vaccines require two doses. … obviously. Clearly he meant to say that many vaccines have been given out (which is true since many people have had two of them). If you remove the 12 and under population you’re looking at about 280 million vaccination candidates. If the vaccines require 2 shots that 350 million divided by 2 which is 175 million. 175 divided by 280 is 62.5%.

Numbers obviously mean nothing to this administration.

Big update on the Chris Chan story. For those who aren’t familiar with it, see my comment in yesterday’s open thread.

Remember the two super spook parents? Particular the part where the father, Mike Janke, is both a former member of Seal Team 6 and founder of several cyber security companies? Well, to the surprise of nobody, the website responsible for digging into this spook family is under a very sophisticated cyber attack. Gee, I wonder who has the capability and motive to carry that out.

Meanwhile, ISABELLA LORETTA JANKE has been reported repeatedly to her university, Texas Tech, for multiple crimes since 2019. Here’s a Reddit screenshot detailing Isabella Loretta Janke’s extremely disturbing crimes. Do NOT click the link if you do not want to read about animal abuse, sexual assault, and other evil behavior.

Texas Tech has covered this up. Well, Mike Janke’s and Mary Beth Janke’s money and connections can’t disappear this any longer. Texas Tech’s social media is a disaster. Read the comments to the tweet below.

Ground report, stopped at a store that carried BRC front and center as soon as you walked in the door. Well it’s gone didn’t see the display anywhere………
Guess word traveled fast on that little episode.

Okay, it has taken me several hours of off-and-on checking in to figure out that BRC is about coffee, LOL. ☕️ I hope I am right! 😀

Black Rifle Coffee. *spit*

There was a discussion here when this frankenfood came out. Seems to confirm suspicions.

Jack Posobiec 🇺🇸 (@JackPosobiec) Tweeted:

Who could have seen this coming? *They* want to make themselves gods when, as mere humans, they lack the omniscience to do it. And they want to use us as their guinea pigs.

Yuk! I’ll bet that stuff is loaded with Soy.

[They] want to make us weaker and easily led.

There is another brand that is being advertised a lot…Incogmeato.

I’ve seen Simulate Nugs prominently displayed at Sam’s Club.

They want kids to eat that. 🤢

Why become a vegetarian then seeking out foods that look like hamburger? Makes no sense. When I was a vegetarian for 15 years I never felt like eating fake foods. I di not even eat soy foods.

Yes, they are going about this the entirely wrong way. Vegetarians don’t like the taste of meat. Instead of making meat out of vegetables they should make vegetables taste like meat.

Cuppa Covfefe

Paul saw this coming.

I Timothy 4:1-5: in particular verse 3 says:

4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Forbidding to marry is clearly down the weird road of LGBTQXYZPEDOETC

Yeah i wont eat either one. I eat boca burgers but only if i want a burger, not the fake chicken. Morningstar which is kelloggs has really raised prices and their blend i cannot tolerate. Here i am unable to eat meat except chicken and some fish and this fake stuff went from decent substitute to these frankenfoods!

I occasionally have to cook for vegetarian visitors and there are some good bean burger recipes out there. Don’t have the texture of meat, of course, but very tasty. And I imagine ground chicken, with the right seasonings, etc. would make a pretty good burger, too.

Ground chicken isnt bad and i suppose i could go that route. Some bean burgers are good too. My son prefers ground chicken meatballs to turkey.

I’m planning to watch as much of Mike Lindell’s symposium as possible. I see that it will be aired on, but when I go there, it asks for my email and phone number. Does anyone know anything about this? Are people accessing the site?

Same concern here. I suppose there is a good reason for asking for phone numbers (security? sorting out imposters?), but I am reluctant to do it.

I want to see this conference very much, but the phone number thing is an obstacle.

When you come across a trap, you spring it safely so it doesn’t bite you.

I need to clean up my twitter feed. Shit is pretty depressing.

I agree with your comment. Everything is getting really bad

I had to stay with my nose in a Bible for much of today.

Things are rough.

Noticed some uncomfortable denial in the comments.

So this must be a Soros wet dream. Soon he can go to everyone’s home and cart off their furniture.

Okay sorry, sees how this is not a joking matter/

Admiral Yamamoto said America was a sleeping giant. We are, but we cannot wait too much longer.

On the 22 site there is an article by Brian Cates about Mike Lindell’s symposium. I am posting most of it, in two parts because it is long.

Mike Lindell – Hero or Dope?

It was back in June that My Pillow CEO and entrepreneur Mike Lindell filed a new lawsuit against Dominion Voting Systems in the state of Minnesota.

That lawsuit contained an “Exhibit 12” that made a most startling claim.

In that particular exhibit, Lindell alleges that he has in his possession authentic network data packet captures [pcaps for short] that were recorded by unknown mystery persons he describes as ‘white hat hackers’ between Election Day November 3, 2020 through November 5. And that these pcaps clear and – to use Lindell’s word – “irrefutably” – prove that not only were thousands of election machines all across the United States connected to the internet during the 2020 election, many of these machines were successfully hacked into from foreign countries.

Lindell also makes the eye-opening claim that the ‘entire election’ from November 2020 was recorded in these packet captures and he has it all. And he can prove conclusively that the 2020 election was stolen from former President Donald J. Trump.

Several IT and Cyber Security experts approached by the news media to address Lindell’s claims  have scoffed at them  and dismissed them out of hand.

In an recent article from Dakota News Now, IT and cybersecurity expert Brian Linder of Check Point Media, regarded as one of the top ten Cyber Security firms in the world, was asked about Lindell’s claims.

Linder says he looked at a sample of a packet capture displayed by Lindell and was distinctly unimpressed. In fact, he directly accused Lindell of making false claims.

“Experts looked at the so-called packet captures that he had. And in fact, it was not an encrypted packet capture at all,” said Linder. “As a matter of fact, it was an unencrypted stream of meaningless data that mentioned clothing manufacturers it had nothing to do with voting. So he claims to have a raw packet capture that’s encrypted. He doesn’t have that, that’s absolutely a false claim based on the data he provided. Completely false.” Dakota News Now reporter Beth Warden then asked Linder if it was even possible to electronically ‘capture’ an entire election.

Linder told her: “To intercept and packet capture all of an election, I

think the way the New York Times described it, technically incoherent. I cannot imagine a scenario where it could be pulled off at all.”

Instead of backing down in the face of waves of such criticism since he filed the lawsuit two months ago, Lindell doubled, and then tripled down on his claims.

First, he announced he would be holding a “Cyber Symposium” where he claimed some of the top cyber security and IT professionals in the world would verify the validity of these election data packet captures.

What Will Happen?

Rampant speculation is flying…

There seem to me to be only 4 main possibilities here:

1. Lindell has nothing. This is all a massive fraud he did to get attention and sell pillows.

2. Lindell has something, but not even close to what he’s claiming he does. He will end up being massively embarrassed – and $5 million poorer when this is over.

3. Lindell has what he says he does but can’t conclusively prove when and where these pcaps were recorded, so they are inadmissible in court.

4. Lindell has what he claims, and he can prove when and where they were recorded, which means they do constitute legal proof that would be admissible in court.

Part II:

What Does Lindell Actually Have?

Is it really impossible to digitally ‘catch’ and record so much election data?

Several of the cyber security and IT experts who have taken a look at Lindell’s claims and dismissed them as false say it would be impossible for anyone to hack into 3,000+ individual US counties election systems and record information like this.

But who said you had to hack into 3,000+ different machines in 3,000 different counties? Each county is digitally sending its tabulation results from the county to the state.

It’s been explained to me by a former top IT professional who used to build supercomputers for the National Security Agency [NSA] that if these packet captures are genuine, it would mean somebody found either one main ‘tap point’ or several ‘tap points’ inside or near large networks where all this county election data was being streamed and managed to hack into these networks and record the information passing through them.

So, there’s no need to hack into 3,000 individual county election systems. The hackers would merely need to ascertain ahead of time, perhaps through dry runs or election system software updates in the days leading up to the election, where the main hub or hubs were located and then position themselves nearby to hack in and capture the incoming and outgoing network traffic.

However, even if all this digital information is successfully intercepted and captured, there’s another problem that presents itself: proving all of this packet data was recorded when you claim it was.

Lindell has repeatedly claimed the pcaps he has are “irrefutable proof” and that time stamps and location stamps contained inside the packet captures themselves are ‘set in stone’ and ‘cannot be edited later’. That would mean the packet captures were cryptographically “hashed” almost immediately on being recorded.

What is  “hashing”

A hash is a string of random-looking characters that uniquely identifies the data in question, much like your fingerprint identifies you. You can hash any data, whether it’s a file (like a music MP3 or spreadsheet) or just a string of characters (like a password). You find the hash by running the data through a hash generator. Every time you hash the same data, you will get the exact same hash value as a result.

If a data stream is hashed correctly, it is indeed impossible to go back and alter it later or edit it without that being spotted. So what Lindell appears to be describing is a process in which these data packets he has were being hashed right as they were recorded or shortly afterwards.

To capture and hash 37 terabytes of digital pcaps while you are in the process of recording them is a tall order. Some IT people I have reached out to and discussed this with have told me they don’t think it’s possible, with current technology. Then again, we only know what the NSA or the DIA or Space Force deign to make public when it comes to their currently available technology…

I make no secret that I am rooting for Lindell to come through and be a hero. But if he ends being a dope, I’m going to have to say so.

Whatever happens over these three days in Sioux Falls, I have a front row seat to watching it unfold. I will be there inside the  South Dakota Military Heritage Center  for the three-day Symposium from August 10 through the 12th, covering the event as the man on the ground for Uncover DC and The X22 Report.

I will be posting regular updates to my Telegram channel:

I will also be attempting to livestream to my Twitch channel:

How in the hell did Cates get in to the symposium?

Yes, Cates does not have a stellar record on predicting outcomes.
In short, his sources normally don’t pan, yet he never seems to run out of them.

Last edited 1 year ago by para59r

All I know is that Mike Lindell has invited a lot of various media people, politicians, and no doubt others. I’m guessing it was Lindell’s call, but that is only a guess.

Dunno if Lindell truly has the goods. Hope he does. Would not bet on it.

Won’t watch whatever Lindell has going on this week. Too many hours. Likely too much fluff and hype. Guessing the bottom line, does he have proof, will be known quickly. If it is a mixed bag, not good at all.

While I do NOT place ANY stock in “August 9-0”, or whatever he hyped a month or two ago. Personally found that video announcing August 9-0, underwhelming.

Not intended as an Eeyore post. Just my assessment. Hope I am wrong.

ALL of the above aside, Cates has ZERO credibility. IMO. Cates is, click bait.

Last edited 1 year ago by kalbokalbs

Yes, Cates has sunk in the opinion of a lot of patriots. I just found that his article brought up some things I didn’t know about.

With Lindell, I’m trying not to get my hopes up too much because just about every “tick-tock” prediction we’ve been presented with, by anyone, has been underwhelming.

I find it hard to believe that Lindell’s experts would not know the things that skeptics have brought up. I also find it hard to believe that we’re going to see the proof we’re looking for. I admire Lindell’s courage and hard work and pray for the success of the event.

Yup. 100% iron clad proof presented with full transparency.

I don’t want to hear, next week or any other alibi. FULL TRANSPARENCY NOW. TRUTH NOW.

Brian Cates…the newspaper delivery guy whose made it big in Bush Country? That guy?

Yes. I’m just reading everything I can regarding Lindell’s event so I will have a better idea of the kinds of objections people will raise, and how they might be overcome (if possible).

This guy claims the vax is causing aging.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

I’m sure that some of the effects of both virus and vaccine are due to brain, but much is DIRECT, and we know this from vaccine migration data.

Aging would be the opposite of what the elite want for themselves. I wonder how many of them have had the actual vaccine.

Is this the first we’ve heard of accelerated aging? If we missed it fine. If it was just talk in inner circles fine, Just seems strange that he knew to look for it. Wonders if one of the strange names on the adverse out come chart (AKA the skipped slide in the FDA brief) means accelerated aging? If so which one?

Brave and Free

Since my SIL and siblings have gotten the stab, I am positive they act like they’ve aged five years.
