Here in Arizona, in anticipation of the memorial service for Charlie Kirk; I know NINE people in my immediate circle of friends and family who are planning to attend the memorial. They range in age from 23–72. These nine individuals have never been to a Turning Point event (including AmFest) or a political rally— ever. The assassination has deeply affected people. There is a lot of self realization taking place in real time. Triggered by trauma for some and grief for others. I don’t know how this plays out for the near future or long term. I’m hanging in here. It’s slow going, but I’m gradually getting better. At least the sore throat is gone. But now I’ve got the dry cough and am feeling it a little more in my chest. I would imagine it’s going to be a few more days before I feel really well. My brother is pretty much having the same experience. One of the challenges has been making sure my mom is okay and has what she needs. My brother and I spend the most time with her and make sure her needs are taken care of. But of course we can’t go anywhere near an assisted living facility while we have Covid. So it’s getting the grandkids to step up and help right now.
So doubling up on IVM is working?
I’m glad the sore throat is gone.
Each time I’ve had Covid, the cough was the part that lingered after all the other symptoms were gone.
I accidentally figured out how to get rid of the cough. Find something that will make you laugh out loud continuously, for about a half hour.
I stumbled across a fart prank video on youtube. I thought no way, I’m not gonna watch that. A little while later I saw it again, so I clicked the play button, and I couldn’t stop laughing 😂
It made me laugh so hard, I hacked up all the phlegm that was deep in my lungs, and the next day, my cough was gone.

My Hubby Loves that 2nd video & has played it for me a few times. He pretty much always laughs til he’s crying!
He used some fart spray ploys a couple times too. One Christmas when the kids were teens the hospital set Josiah up for a liver biopsy, pre-transplant. It was supposed to be outpatient but they punctured his diaphragm on one of the laparoscopic passes for a tissue sample. He ended up spending the night in the hospital with a chest tube attached to room suction to help re-inflate his one collapsed lung.
This was the year that we found out he had a brain tumor & a liver filled with masses/tumors a day or two apart (it always emotionally felt like one phone call) right before Thanksgiving. Anyway I was a mess that year & did practically nothing for Christmas because I was so freaked out about that health scare.
Anyway since he was in-patient I went on overdrive accessing Child Life & Art Therapy facilities making Christmas stockings for each of my four kids & pulled an all-nighter bedside doing what holiday prep was possible in the hospital & also taking care of Josiah’s needs.
They ended up sending him home very late on Christmas Eve & we drove on very scary icy roads & only by God’s grace made it home unscathed. Well that night Michael & the other kids had been doing a bunch of fun stuff in the living room so when we got home Josiah joined in. I tried to take part but was so tired that I fell asleep on the couch in the midst of all the family chaos.
Apparently Michael decided to bust out the fart spray because things were too tame before. So several times I would almost wake up & say things like “did somebody throw up?” or “Michael can you please clean that up?” before passing out amidst ceaseless laughter.
It was an over the top insane Christmas with the worst gifts I’d ever managed (& that’s saying something since most years the bulk of things came from resale). In fact most of the stocking stuffers were hospital tray add-ons for Josiah since he had no diet restrictions & I kept ordering drinks & snacks for him that ultimately went home with us…
Most of our kids look back on that as the Best Christmas Ever & fart spray was part of that tale!

I think he was in a private room that time. However the following surgery, the next Summer, when he had the brain tumor out through his nose, he had a roommate in a crib & that was a rough way to attempt to heal. Fortunately that stay wasn’t too long, at least as far as my fuzzy memory can recall.
Now my dad’s recent overnight hospitalization where he had a roommate & I wasn’t then allowed to stay bedside & got escorted out of the “nearby” waiting area by 4 security guards in the middle of the night…well That incident got Hubby on fire. He wrote up a pretty scathing review for the Henry Ford Hospital & it’s been seen by more than 5000 people. I don’t think Anything I’ve written Anywhere has gotten that kind of traction!

Sadly, just a week after my dad was discharged from that hospital my EMT son had a patient admitted who was later murdered (shot down by her husband) while in the hospital. He had another patient who was shot in his vehicle when in front of the hospital & though son & his co-workers got him at least somewhat stabilized before getting him Inside the hospital son was extremely discouraged to witness the medical staff basically not bother to try to save his life.
Henry Ford Hospital is in the heart of Detroit so they probably see A Lot of things that are quite different than what typically happens at U of M in Ann Arbor but you’d think they’d still be Trying to save lives!
I wonder if son’s murdered patient is one of the news events that has Yelp locking down the HFH reviews 🙄

My husband came down with what you have but he got over it fast. Now I have it was sick as a dog for past 2 day 101 temp. What really helps me is Theraflu , Afrin and Cloraseptic. Today I feel little better but tired. This flu is draining.
By the way the pharmacist told my husband not to use decongestant instead use Theraflu. Cough is annoying . I am mostly past the cough hope I soon feel better. This flu seems to come in 3 days stays three days and leaves in three days.

Did you take Ivermectin? Whether it’s covid or some other flu virus, IVM seems to eat them all.
Not this time because I did not know if it interact with my heart meds. My husband got the Theraflu yesterday and my body reacted right away. As the day today progressed I feel better and better. Only took one dose of Theraflu. I need to find out if Ivermectin causes problems with my meds . I need new Ivermectin need to find a new supplier do not want to go the Indian rout again.

Candace Owens is not someone I follow, but her names been coming up much lately. The day before yesterday on Thursday’s post, there were at least 4 separate posts on Candance Owens with many chiming in. Meanwhile, poking about the internet it would seem nice if we had more information on the wounds Charlie Kirk received as we’ve only seen the frontal wound and nothing else yet, and so when I saw this post below I was intrigued and took a look. Seems under the “more” there was a youtube vid. Those normally show up with the tweet even if there is a “more…” but this one did not, just the link. What she appeared to be saying in the tweet seemed of interest since twitter has been showing a lot tweets about the camera behind Kirk being taken down immediately in the wake of the shooting despite it being a crime scene. Seemed she had some information on that and she did.
The information of course is quite interesting. I’ll let you figure out what that is by watching the vid as she handles it in the first several minutes..
What came next was equally startling as she both denies and debunks some of the claims made against her in the Thursdays posts and further she brings receipts.

My SIL is in law enforcement as I have stated. He is well trained, an expert marksman with weapons in addition to certified bomb tech. He detected a right handed shooter who did not calculate the drop enough and who probably flinched slightly when he pulled the trigger. That resulted in the neck shot. The posted videos, texts, screenshots, etc. prove up the rest.
JMO – if there is a conspiracy it is related to the trans community’s knowledge and participation before and after, as well as any MK used on the shooter in prior years.
I don’t want to open a can of worms but…the thing that puzzles me…where is the bullet? and if a man is killed publicly like that wouldn’t the area be sealed off till they find it? because if i were a juror, I would want that piece of evidence.
Why do people think WE (the public) would know where the bullet is, is my question? Do people think the FBI is going to put it on display somewhere? We’re not watching a CSI episode, the FBI is gathering evidence for a case to put an assassin on death row. I’m not sure the discovery of every piece of that evidence is going to be announced to the public for clicks before the trial.
Do we know they didn’t seal the area immediately after the shooting and do a grid search? If so, how do we know that? Because I don’t remember seeing a 24-hour camera on the area to be able to tell. How long do you suppose they would need to keep it closed off? The forensic evidence would have been collected immediately.
Oh, hang on. As I recall, a man was arrested for trying to get into the scene to take a selfie. Wouldn’t that mean the area was being guarded? Ah yes, here we go, pictures and everything, with crime scene tape, and FBI agents, on Thursday:

I’m not taking candace’s word for anything. there was a story–that the campus was already taking things down after the shooting. if that story was fake, i wouldn’t know that. my point is the police claim they have the guy. why not say they have the bullet that matches the gun he “used”. why should that be a secret?
There could be lots of reasons they are withholding information like that.
During interrogation, the FBI is allowed to outright lie to people. Maybe they are using the bullet as leverage in interviews. For instance, they could say the bullet found matched ammo found in the possession of a person they are questioning. Seems like most of a human neck is not very stout. Certainly not to resist a bullet.
There was talk early on that the bullet had ricochet’d off a vest upward into the neck. That would be one obvious possibility.
Another possibility is that it wasn’t exactly a neck shot. Just a little lower than all the soft stuff is collarbone and shoulders; just a little higher is the base of the skull and some mandible.
Best to wait for a full autopsy report.
It’s possible that the only “law enforcement” on sight at the time of the shooting were campus “cops” so they were probably not trained in locking down a crime scene. This is Purely Speculation on my part.

India has armies and armies of telemarketers who in their spare time could do the same here both for international flights and domestic flights. You could shut off that capability of making reservations from outside the USA but by then the Indian’s inside the USA would become aware of the tiff and they could do it from here. The airlines would take the hit as seats go unfilled and they’d have to counter by using a cash only policy for reservations with a no cancelation period.

Back in the day, this was in 2000, I was calling all the major airlines to try to get Hubby the best deal for a precipitous flight to see his step dad on his deathbed. At that time each of the airlines let me make a reservation that would hold for a specific amount of time but would eventually disappear without payment. I made reservations on all the flights & ultimately chose the one with the best deal for us. He was flying out for the weekend & intending to return on Sunday to be with me on Monday for Josiah’s second heart surgery. Fortunately I got an open ended ticket because his step dad died the next day so Hubby stayed for the funeral then came back to be with us at the hospital the day after heart surgery.
I want to say that those holds were good for 24 hours on the airlines’ 800 #s but that seems too long given I was trying to book flights for that same day. Kinda blurry now.

The Fed retires their balance sheet debt, more or less so depending on liquidity (cash reserves) in the system. When they pull out too much, money gets tight to you and me as well as local banks, CU’s, etc. That holds the interest rates higher than they should be and restricts consumer credit in particular in our nation’s consumer based economy. That slows the economy down and increases inflation.
The Fed would rather We the People pay the bill from their hare brained schemes of the GR than they and their globalist masters. They called the shots and caused the GR – with lax supervision and policies of all of their assigned duties such as, but not limited to: Not fighting Congress in opposition to their terrible housing policies and acts, terrible auditing that permitted fraudulent underwriting of credit of all types including and adding to the repo/swap/etc. madness; fake capital classifications with instruments that were actually debt (trust preferreds); and so on. This caused insurance company financial issues as well as the mortgage and housing crisis of the period. It fed over into consumer credit with credit cards and car loans.
That led to the total meltdown of the debt markets. As an aside, that led to TB retiring from his career of BIMD.
They then used us, primarily the middle class, to repay their grift, corruption and cronyism. This all lays at the feet of the Uniparty. When you inflate, you use less valuable dollars to repay past debts (sins) incurred. The massive debt caused by the Fed printing money out of thin air nature in the QE scheme is why all of this is still happening today.
The real reason they hate our GOAT POTUS so much is that he has stood in direct opposition to them in that arena. He is We the People’s Gladiator.
For the Fed to stay relevant, the dollar to stay the world’s currency, and for them to not be bankrupted; they have to repay the monstrous debt they incurred with Soetoro and Bernanke’s Carnival. In case anyone wonders, I do this sort of thing all the time. I have a cousin that’s about a year younger than I am and we were talking about going to the same high school. He mentioned that, because I had skipped a grade, I wouldn’t be able to drive until I was a senior while he’d be able to drive when he was just a sophomore. I airily replied that he could just drive me around.
Just today, one of the BAEM crew was going through his difficulties in machining cylinder sleeves for his scale model Merlin engine. Instead of being mathematically cylindrical, he measured them with a device good to 1/10 of a thousandth of an inch and discovered that they were tapered by 2/10 from one end to the other…..then discovered that they were not even exactly round, the long axis being 2-3 tenths longer than the short axis. Being the helpful sort, I suggested afterward that he merely make oval tapered pistons to match.
Of course! But the tapering can only go one way. Why didn’t I think of that?

I find it quite distracting when the audio doesn’t quite appear to synch up with how the lips move. This one is more subtle than some I’ve seen recently. If one asks AI to verify & AI lies how can we even “know”?

Join in and converse about mundane topics or suppport the general temperment of like minded people ..IOW gain trust. Now..an umistakeable campaign to divide on that single issue. Yes, Dems will position themselves as free speech advocates, but I don’t think it’s going to work because if we play our cards right, people will realize (and they already are realizing) that:
a) advocating for murder of those with whom you disagree is not covered under “freedom of speech,”
b) advocating for murder of those with whom you disagree is evil,
c) those people are out of control and we need to rein them in or at least make our influence the dominant one if we want society to survive, and
d) there is a distinction between the government censoring speech vs. what private employers can do. This is a lesson that many have needed to learn.
If MAGA would unite to make sure there are consequences for condoning and calling for murder and stop being afraid of how the Left might use circumstances for political gain, we could make great progress. A lot of people who were Dems or on the fence are waking up to the hideous attitudes and policies of the Left precisely because the speech of those who advocate for evil is being exposed. This is a golden opportunity for us to wake people up.
It is a tactic that Pres. Trump uses frequently. He hounds people with insults and calls them names, completely unafraid of what they might do as a result. He has been on the media’s case for a decade, calling them “fake news” and singling out various reporters for disdain. The result has not been that the Left has used that to make themselves the victim, bringing people to their side. It has been the opposite: the media is in a free fall. When PDJT first started predicting the media’s demise, I couldn’t see how it could happen, but it is happening.
You don’t fight evil by cowering because they might try to use your efforts against you in a political fight. That’s what our side has always done. IMO we need to be as aggressive as possible to shine the light on the attitudes of those who think it’s okay to kill their political opposition. After all, sunlight is the best disinfectant. ☀️

SD: “The Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement has gained in ranks mostly due to the pragmatic messenger who cuts through party lines, Donald Trump; but also, because the political left went too far into the world of social crazy.
For several years, traditional moderates and Democrats have been turning away from the messaging of the leftist party now controlled by radical Marxists and publicly declared socialists. Almost everything they created as a point of advocacy made their following spiral into an ever-diminishing circle.
Democrats are the party of censorship, gleefully cheering as conservative voices were deplatformed, demonetized, targeted by the social media system operators who controlled the public square, targeted by an aligned government and mainstream media, and evidenced in their full-throated demands around the COVID-19 madness and vaccine protocols.
Democrats cheered as government collaborated with tech donors to diminish their opposition, while simultaneously they affirmed some of the evilest enterprises around DEI, toxic advocacy for transgender and LGBTQ+ ideology, the mutilation of children and far worse. Socially their policies became increasingly toxic and ridiculous.
As they descended this spiral, Democrats became increasingly dangerous – visibly so – and the outcome of their advocacy was not in alignment with anything resembling ‘domestic tranquility’. None of this is questioned by serious people who have watched the last 18 years unfold. The leftist ideology is abusive in the extreme.
As the left pushed further and further into their created system of social madness, violence and evil enterprise, they lost support and MAGA Republicans were beneficiaries.
Despite our lack of control over the power centers, the MAGA tent expanded as the party of the individual not the collective; the party of freedom, free speech and, well, functionally common sense. The toxic abusers held power, but culturally they were losing control. MAGA represented the rebellion, and the rebel ranks gained even while, and perhaps because, we were being abused.
Then a 22-year-old radical leftist, fully indoctrinated within the 18-years of social Marxist advancement, shot the Christian representation of the MAGA rebellion, Charlie Kirk, in the neck – killing him in front of millions.

Something important that’s being missed with the Jimmy Kimmel saga…
By spreading the vile lie that Charlie was assassinated by MAGA, the implicit message from Kimmel was clear: If you kill a conservative, we will cover for you. We will whitewash the murder because we don’t think conservatives deserve to live. Kill more. Assassinate more. We have your back.
This is evil.
Executives at ABC rightly received a deluge of complaints from affiliates. They asked Kimmel to apologize for lying and he refused, instead vowing to double down. Only then did he get canned.
Networks like ABC, NBC, and CBS enjoy massive taxpayer supported privileges and advantages because they are supposed to contribute to the “public good.” Those privileges come with a responsibility to not knowingly spread harmful lies like the one Kimmel was spreading.
Jimmy Kimmel is not a victim. He’s a liar.
Jimmy Kimmel is not a martyr. Charlie is.

Trump’s team knew if they slammed existing holders immediately, the courts, corporations, and universities would swarm them with injunctions and sob stories about disruption.
So they carved out the stock, left it untouched, but put a noose around the flow. That’s the actual pipeline that kept Silicon Valley, outsourcing shops, and Indian IT mills running. Kill the flow, the stock ages out, and the model dies in slow motion.
Think of it like choking off oxygen. The body (existing H-1Bs) keeps moving for a while, but without new supply, the system collapses from within.
The real mask-off implication:
•For American labor: This is the first time in decades the cost arbitrage model has been structurally dismantled. Over the next 2–3 years, wages at the bottom tier of STEM jobs will rise, not because of “free markets,” but because the cheap labor conveyor belt is being dismantled.
•For Indian IT giants: Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant – their stock reactions already show it. Their business model is fundamentally impaired. They can’t win contracts undercutting wages without cheap visa inflows.
•For universities: The H-1B system was a backdoor subsidy to pump STEM enrollments. If the exit pipeline is shut down, the entire higher-ed incentive structure breaks. That’s a slow bleed, but it’s lethal.
•For markets: The knee-jerk calm (“oh, existing holders are safe”) is a misread. This isn’t about the next quarter. It’s about rewiring the labor supply chain. That’s far more radical.
Trump just set a fuse that detonates the 30-year experiment of outsourcing America’s brain. It won’t look explosive at first, it’ll look like a slow policy tweak. But in 12–24 months, it creates a reflexive cascade: higher wages, corporate reshoring pressure, offshoring taxes, universities losing demand, and foreign IT stocks structurally repriced down.
This is asymmetric warfare with a time delay.

The bigger question is why did the American People ever let things go this far in the first place.

I’m done with all of that. Call a spade a spade and expose every person who condones degeneracy, mutilation, forced vaccinations, murder of those who disagree with them, etc.

🔥MRS. DR. PUBLIUS ALERT🔥
I spent the last week reading numerous posts by conservatives all over social media. These authors are tremendously exhilarated with euphoric emotions of vindication as some burgeoning examples of cultural cancellation are now being inflicted on the left. While that may feel good in the short term don’t be deceived – I doubt we have changed many minds on the left. Some of us wonder why don’t they get the error of their ways?
The truth is these unhinged people on the left are zealots – their rhetoric in all of its corruptible forms and violence is their religion. They are willing to commit violence to propagate their baleful message and destroy what we cherish. So it’s prudent for conservatives to take a step back for a moment and recognize:
1. This is their religion and they don’t want to be persuaded – that would be blasphemy to them.
2. They believe what they are saying – “conservatives are evil.” Their leftist leaders come from political, educational, and judicial backgrounds and are usually highly educated academically with no common sense. They’ve poisoned the minds of many Americans (especially our youth) in a brazen attempt to achieve complete control over our culture. Instead of co-existing with Americans of various opinions, some of our youth who are filled with lies about God, anti-American propaganda, and are sexualized at a very early age are hell bent on destroying the “opposition.” These young people lack the skill sets of critical thinking, rational logic, participating in an open dialogue/debate with those with you disagree – skills that empower you to negotiate life. Their leaders have stolen their innocence.
3. Many people under the age of 40 are taking on average 2-3 mood altering drugs daily. I’ve observed this in my practice for years. Why? They are miserable human beings. The level of general anxiety in the public is astounding! But I often ask myself, if their life choices were so wonderful why do they need to be medicated? Why are our suicide rates up? When we present them with an explanation of their bad behavior, they simply cannot cope.
4. These leftists were taught to feel betrayed by previous generations – whether it is well-founded or not (in some cases it is well-founded) – and they have categorically rejected the “American Dream” that most of us cherish. They were educated to reject the lessons of history and brain-washed into believing they are superior human beings simply because they possess technology. (This mentality is the result of the “everyone gets a trophy” standard at every sporting event or any other competition – to protect their self-esteem and it explains why our culture is so narcissistic.) The only thing these preposterous ideas accomplished was to create individuals who struggle with the routine challenges in life – including being challenged by our reaction to Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
5. They don’t believe in individual accountability. They believe how conservatives are reacting to Charlie Kirk’s death isn’t their fault.They believe they are free to do whatever they want without consequences. It is always someone else’s fault.
If I had one wish for the world it would be:
The most powerful action any of us can do to make the world better is to change ourselves – strive to live modestly, love passionately, be generous to others, and serve the Lord.
I doubt many leftist minds have been changed, either, but what is happening is bigger than that. People who were not aware are now seeing the evil that resides in some hearts. They are seeing that the Dem Party supports that evil. They realize that the abnormalcy being pushed by the Left is not only destructive, but deadly.
“Cultural cancellation” is not the goal (although if it is a side effect, so be it). Consequences for speech that condones or calls for the murder of fellow human beings is one goal. If we don’t push back, they will take over society and kill us, quite literally.
No, sorry (more below). The people who make world-affecting changes, like Donald Trump, Charlie Kirk, and countless others both inside and outside of government, are taking actions that affect others.
Of course “living modestly, loving passionately, being generous, and serving the Lord” are beneficial and needed, but when someone wants to destroy your country and the godly principles on which it was founded, force vaccinations on you, force you and your children to accept degenerate and destructive lifestyles, take your means of self-defense, and silence your voice even to the point of killing you because your views don’t conform to theirs, then it’s war. Living a good life is not enough. Prayer is essential, but human beings have to speak up and take action lest they become boiling frogs. And I mean lawful speech and action that fights evil, which is also serving the Lord.
I’m a little dismayed that I’m seeing conservatives who don’t seem to understand the situation we are in. They seem to be advocating for going back to the status quo, which IMO means being weak and allowing ourselves to be abused with the only “fight” being at the ballot box. Christians are not doormats. Neither are conservatives.
This is why I think fears that the Left’s “victimhood” could result in their looking like supporters of free speech will not gain traction. Every time they come up with something, there are examples to counter them.
I honestly think that at this point, either way it has to just not matter. On the one hand, yes, they will scream victim, and most everybody on the left will support that victimhood position, including almost all the media.
On the other hand, who cares what they say? We’re winning.
We are at a critical turning point in American society. We have to seize the day and go forward, no matter how much they wail. My only concern is that we lose the squishy middle too soon. They have to be on board long enough for us to shut the left down entirely. Then they can be squishy again.
I know SO many people who just want to live with their head in the sand. We have to keep them with their heads up and eyes open for a while.

A loss that great may have been the only way to reach a large enough number of people. I don’t think even Trump is as widely loved as Charlie Kirk was. That’s too bad, but I think it’s true. There are a lot of “normies” who loved Charlie and heard his message. So many of them are young and ready to change the world.

For what it’s worth, I saw a video posted by Kozak after the shooting in which he expressed dismay at the loss of life.

To be clear, I have advocated for people who condone and promote murder to be outed and for our side to take control of the narrative and the direction in which society is headed. That does not mean threatening people and accusing them before there is evidence against them. That is not wise behavior.
Less than 36 hours after Kirk’s final moments, that single question has torn Kozak’s life apart.
The 29-year-old UVU student studying math education and philosophy spoke to The Tribune by phone late Thursday. When he answered, the father of two quipped, “Good timing. I just got off a call with the FBI.”
Minutes before his call with the FBI, a nurse had also called to tell Kozak and his wife that it’s possible their youngest child — a baby girl born Sunday, who remains hospitalized in a neonatal intensive care unit — may have a heart defect.
“I don’t know that this is a day that a human being can handle,” Kozak told The Tribune, his voice cracking.
Kozak said he had been trying to lay low after the event, even as others started to identify him and call him out online, where his popular progressive TikTok account @staxioms has amassed millions of views.
It was partially the stress of the hospital that had led Kozak and his wife to take a break and see Kirk speak.
The two love politics and wanted to challenge Kirk, who had promoted debate as part of his college tour with Turning Point USA. They expected their liberal perspective at the presumably conservative event held in a largely red state might not make for a smooth interaction. They didn’t anticipate becoming viewed as supposed villains in an alleged plot they say they had nothing to do with.
By Thursday, Kozak said, he couldn’t remain quiet any more. “I felt like I had to make it was clear I was advocating for peace,” he said.
It’s what prompted him to break his TikTok silence to his 34,000 followers. “I don’t know how to make this video,” he started. “It’s been a rough 24 hours.”
He then reveals that he was, as he phrases it, “the last person to talk to Charlie Kirk.”
It’s a pleading 3:33-minute clip where Kozak asks for understanding and civility and tries to explain where his question came from.
The post includes a clip of him asking Kirk: “Do you know how many transgender Americans have been mass shooters over the last 10 years?”
He looks small in front of the microphone, wearing a gray sweatshirt and thin red wire glasses.
Kirk responds, “Too many.”
Kozak replies the number is five.
Kirk says, “Counting or not counting gang violence?”
Then the pop of a single gunshot rings out.
Kozak told The Tribune that he immediately sensed what happened. “It sounded like a firecracker. I thought it was fired 2 feet away from me, it was so loud.”
He dropped to the ground and looked at the others who’d been waiting to address Kirk, their faces pressed to the grass.
Kozak’s wife, who’d joined him at the event, had been filming Kozak from a spot where they’d earlier stood together before Kozak was moved to the front to speak. He crawled to try to find her and did.
Before the pair left, Kozak told The Washington Post, he sought out a police officer and provided his contact details, along with the video his wife had been filming. Even then, he was already worried about how it might look — that people would think he was involved.
But law enforcement didn’t contact him until Thursday, he told The Tribune, when he posted his TikTok. He described the conversation as short and friendly.
Kozak said the timing of his question has spurred hundreds, maybe thousands of people to attack him online, he estimates. “Many, many, many,” he said. They posit the shooter was listening for Kozak’s words to fire, two liberals acting in concert.
“I’m absolutely overwhelmed,” Kozak added. “I just saw all those accusations. … I feel angry, but I’m also scared of what anger can lead people to do.”
Kozak said he just wanted to “have a conversation with Charlie about the inaccuracies I thought he was promoting.”
“I wanted to have a debate and conversation with him in the so-called marketplace of ideas,” Kozak continued. “That’s something he believes in. That’s something I believe in.”
In his TikTok, Kozak also included clips from a post he’d made about a week earlier, challenging Kirk for alleging that the suspect in the Aug. 29 Minneapolis shooting at a Catholic school was transgender. It wasn’t his first critique of Kirk.
Kozak says that earlier video was shared with the hope that Kirk could see “that trans people are surprisingly and extremely nonviolent.” When he soon after saw Kirk was coming to his campus, he says, he felt compelled to question Kirk at the event.
Kozak has posted hundreds of videos on his TikTok account over the past three years, examining liberal politics from many angles as part of the “Unf— America Tour” led by Democrats, run as a counterpoint to Kirk’s Turning Point USA. In one, Kozak interviewed attendees at a different Kirk event.
Since the shooting, he’s been ruminating on all the ways he feels he and Kirk were similar — both passionate, both fathers, both having dropped out of college. (Kozak previously attended nearby Brigham Young University in Provo before leaving for four years and then enrolling at UVU.)
“If my 1-year-old boy, like his 1-year-boy, grew up without memories of his dad …” Kozak says, trailing off in the video.
He adds: “I’m on the record for how much I disagree with Charlie Kirk, but he is still a human being. Have we forgotten that?”
In the aftermath, Kozak told The Tribune, his concern for his and his family’s safety led him to hire an attorney. Hours before authorities announced Friday that a shooting suspect was in custody, Kozak said he hoped for an arrest in the case, too. “It’d certainly get a target off my back,” he added.
He keeps asking himself what the shooter hoped to accomplish. And he can’t stop thinking about his own question.
“I was thinking about the [Jeffrey] Epstein letter that got published. I would’ve wanted to talk to him about that, maybe,” he said. “I think that would’ve been better. But how can any of this get better?”

I want to address some of the discussion about the lack of an exit wound with Charlie. I’m usually not interested in delving into most of this kind of online chatter, and I apologize this is somewhat graphic, but in this case, the fact that there wasn’t an exit wound is probably another miracle, and I want people to know.
I just spoke with the surgeon who worked on Charlie in the hospital…
He said the bullet “absolutely should have gone through, which is very very normal for a high powered, high velocity round. I’ve seen wounds from this caliber many times and they always just go through everything. This would have taken a moose or two down, an elk, etc.”
But it didn’t go through. Charlie’s body stopped it.
I mentioned to his doctor that there were dozens of staff, students, and special guests standing directly behind Charlie on the other side of the tent, and he replied:
“It was an absolute miracle that someone else didn’t get killed.”
“His bone was so healthy and the density was so so impressive that he’s like the man of steel. It should have just gone through and through. It likely would have killed those standing behind him too.”
In the end, the coroner did find the bullet just beneath the skin.
Even in death, Charlie managed to save the lives of those around him.
Remarkable. Miraculous.
That’s God.
