Placing the wisdom to own metals, aside, for a moment. Discussed many months, perhaps a year ago.
How or where to hold the metals comes with a few choices. Three of them are:
- Hold physical metals at home, bank safe deposit box…
- Pay someone to hold (safekeep) owned metals. (Trust someone you’ve never met)
- Or, essentially have a piece of paper, saying the purchaser owns, or is owed XX amount of metal, gold, silver, etc.
Two and three, IMO, obviously recipes for FAILURE. There is no guarantee, metal will be provided, “on demand”.
Whether the metals “physical issue on demand” is based in London, the US, or anywhere, really does not matter. The concept is FUBAR from its inception. MeThinks.

There’s Billions of ounces being traded against Millions of inventory. Most folks are doing cash settlement, but… it doesn’t take much of a “glitch” of extra folks choosing “delivery” for things to go sideways fast.
In other news: COMEX Commodities Exchange does a lot of futures and options contracts. As of now, the SPOT price (for “right now on the spot!”) is higher than the price in futures contracts. This is backwards from The Usual expected state (contango) which it ought to be. Why? Because to guarantee delivery at a future time, somebody has to hold the commodity in inventory, which has a cost, and must have money tied up in that inventory, which means not getting the bank interest you could get by leaving the money in the bank.

The spouse, her twin, and a couple of their kids all have had migraine issues from time to time. They have since abated even if not totally gone ( the son used Imatrix to good effect, IIRC).
In the video below, the presenter says that use of NAC Suppliment helped her reduce her migraine frequency a lot, in conjunction with some other dietary suppliments.
In addition to that “testimonial”, the spouse has had significant effect on some inflammatory issues she is dealing with (joint pains & arthritis mostly).
I’ve not noticed as much, partly because I don’t have as much of an issue I think…, but it has improved “mood” and overall energy levels (very subjective, I know).
There are also a lot of medical studies to back up the positive effects in a variety of illnesses as an adjunct.

The posting advises military members to go ahead and decide their own law. If you feel that something is unjust, if you believe that some order conflicts with the Constitution, take it upon yourself to commit a crime under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ).
Article 92 of the UCMJ criminalizes “failure to obey an order or regulation.” This congressional advice is unconscionable. These six Democrats failed to mention the disastrous life impact upon any service member who may choose to follow it.
Let me provide any tempted service members a little supplemental information. I reviewed hundreds of court-martial records as a military JAG officer. All orders from a superior are legally presumed to be lawful. Your opinion about whether an order is legal is irrelevant. If you defy them, you go to the brig and await trial. Your command may instead opt to simply administratively separate (“AdSep”) you for misconduct for the convenience of the government.

Many years ago as a young Army captain I was fortunate enough to serve as an intern on the Joint Staff (i.e., the staff that supports the Joint Chiefs of Staff).
One of the duties all Joint Staff interns routinely had was to be a “rent-a-crowd” for VIPs giving speeches.
One day me and my buddy Werner got the order to put on our Class A uniforms and head over to Fort McNair to hear a speech by President Bill Clinton.
Little did we know that we were about to hear the historic “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” speech allowing gays in the military.
I was literally in the second row in the auditorium. David Gergen and George Stephanopoulos were in the front row right in front of me. Before the speech started, the two of them were laughing and cackling like school girls over how successful they had been at setting up the imaging they wanted.
That imaging was Slick Willie at the podium with the Joint Chiefs of Staff sitting behind him, as if they supported what he was about to say.
I was about twenty feet from General Carl Mundy, who was then the Commandant of the Marine Corps. As Clinton started giving the speech that would begin the U.S. military’s death spiral into social experimentation that valued DEI over lethality, my eyes were riveted on Mundy. He sat perfectly motionless in his chair, legs spread, hands on knees, with a look on his face that said “Daggers.” He was apparently frozen and motionless. However, I was close enough to see that he was actually flexing his jaw muscles and gritting his teeth repeatedly as he endured Clinton’s speech.
His anger was palpable. He had been on record as strongly opposing the new policy, and it was obvious he was doing everything he could to control his emotions.
But you know what? As badly as Mundy obviously hated what Clinton was doing to his Marine Corps, he knew that Clinton’s order was lawful. While he hated it politically, he did not pretend the order was “unlawful.”
But not just Mundy.
ALL OF US hated the order politically and socially, but all of us knew it was a lawful order coming from the President and that it was our Constitutional duty to execute that order to the best of our abilities, enthusiastically.
So we did.
But somewhere along the way today’s cretinous veteran Democrats in Congress decided that they would no longer do the right thing that we and Mundy did.
They decided that lawful orders are “unlawful” if they disagree politically.
Now they are destroying our military and our nation out of sheer disloyal, treasonous ego.
Pretending that lawful orders are “unlawful” if you disagree politically is not the role of a U.S. service member who follows his or her oath of office.
Encouraging troops to take such steps is sedition.
Democrats need to step back and remember what General Carl Mundy knew before they start their second U.S. civil war.

Yea I found it enjoyable. Can’t understand a word, but appreciated the clips of her shows.
We have a president who is working 24/7 to save this country and make life better for all Americans. He has three years left of his term to accomplish his agenda to Make America Great Again. He doesn’t need an emotional, mental gnat on the sidelines denigrating his agenda and wanting to replace it with her own, which she says is “America Only.” Pres. Trump and the country do not need someone who is considered conservative placing doubts in people’s minds and twisting the facts for her own purposes.
I guarantee that at points in the future, MTG is going to do things to dominate the news cycle and place all the attention on her, like she did today. And the Left will eat it up. I hate that Pres. Trump is going to have to deal with this. I’m more disgusted by her statements and actions every day.
IMO we need to put her down, politically, because I firmly believe her to be in the enemy camp now. That’s during the Biden admin. She’s been consistent about defending the victims, and calling for jailing the pedos. I don’t think she implied Trump was one of them, but she disagreed with the way he handled the files. I agree with her on that, it’s been badly handled.
I doubt she changed her mind on illegals being deported because of her own company simply because she’s had that company all along. I suspect her position may have changed because of feedback from constituents, though. Or not. I don’t agree with her position, I just care about how she votes in Congress. I don’t expect lockstep in sharing opinions.
I find myself in the position of defending somebody I don’t really like all that much, but who has been a reliable vote for us in the House. I don’t like the way Trump handled the situation with her. He could have called her in for a private discussion, but instead called her a “traitor” in a contentious as hell political environment. I wouldn’t tolerate that treatment, either.

To give inadequate or unscrupulous people an unfair advantage — and no matter how they abuse that advantage, they enjoy the privilege of never being held accountable for doing so.
That’s what being a member of a protected-class is.
They get to bark like the big dogs and pretend like they’re one of them.
But the moment an actual big dog like DJT confronts them, they run back to the safety of the front porch, with all the other little dogs, and hang a ‘VICTIM’ card from their collar.
Safe again.
Meaning they have a free pass to say or do whatever they want, and never be held accountable, just like a child.
Each of my boys first got spanked by me before his second birthday, and I wasn’t the only parent doing it to his/her own kids.
So … the above quoted material seems to apply to leftist spawn, not universally to all children.
I would say it applies to anyone who is not a white male, because a white male is the only category of human being on earth who is not automatically a member of a protected-class at birth.
If a white male becomes homosexual or islamic, or a tranny, he can become a protected-class member.
Those are about the only entrance paths to protected-class status for a white male.
So a better way to say it is that protected-class status applies to everyone who is not a white, heterosexual and/or Christian male.
That doesn’t mean those who are born into a protected-class have to accept it or use it to their advantage.
It doesn’t appear that Thomas Sowell does, for example.
But most people who qualify for protected-class membership do use it, both because it’s a safety net on the one hand, and because it gives them many advantages on the other.
A safety net and advantage that white men never experience.
If I do something wrong, there won’t be any safety net for me. There won’t be any advocacy group starting a Go-Fund-Me to pay my legal bills, and so my family could move on up to a deluxe apartment in the sky.
I definitely won’t get any slack from the jury, or from the judge at sentencing.
I know better than to expect any leniency or consideration at all, in any aspect of life, which informs everything I do, and how I conduct myself.
By contrast, protected-class members don’t have to worry about who they mouth off to, or who they drive off the side of the road in rage, or who they stab or shoot or defraud, for just a few examples.
In the case of a female, a wife with children for example, she can ditch her husband for no cause at all (no fault divorce), at any time, and the court will almost certainly award custody of the children to her, along with a court order for the man to pay child support and alimony, to make sure that her lifestyle isn’t hampered in even the slightest way, by her decision to break up the family.
Protected-class members, by definition, always have a victim card to play if they want to, and an entire system of laws, programs, NGOs and other grifts to support them, exonerate them, justify them, promote them, etc.
The inverse, nearly a perfect mirror opposite, of the white male experience in this world.
And a white male certainly won’t get any opportunities based on racial or gender quotas — but he will be excluded from consideration in order to fulfill those same quotas for members of protected-classes.
Protected classes get to live life on easy mode. They can do whatever they want, say whatever they want, with minimal consequences or accountability, and the number of second chances extended to them never runs out.
I can barely even imagine what that must be like.
But it’s cool, I would never want to be a member of a protected-class.
I would eliminate all protected-classes if I could, but I wouldn’t be a member of one.

“This epistle of James is one of the most instructive writings in the New Testament. Being chiefly directed against particular errors at that time brought in among the Jewish Christians, it does not contain the same full doctrinal statements as the other epistles, but it presents an admirable summary of the practical duties of all believers. The leading truths of Christianity are set forth throughout; and on attentive consideration, it will be found entirely to agree with St. Paul’s statements concerning grace and justification, while it abounds with earnest exhortations to the patience of hope and obedience of faith and love, interspersed with warnings, reproofs, and encouragements, according to the characters addressed. The truths laid down are very serious, and necessary to be maintained; and the rules for practice ought to be observed in all times. In Christ there are no dead and sapless branches, faith is not an idle grace; wherever it is, it brings forth fruit in works. I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Just The News: “Nebraska Attorney General Mike Hilgers this week warned of efforts by foreign actors to influence statewide ballot initiatives in Republican states to reshape the political landscape of the United States. Hilgers pointed to efforts by foreign billionaires to funnel money into statewide ballot initiatives illegally, which he has challenged in court.
“Until 2021, we thought that the law actually prohibited foreign funding of state elections,” Hilgers said on the “Just the News, No Noise” television show. “In about 2021, the FEC [Federal Elections Commission] issued a ruling that said, ‘Actually no. Federal law doesn’t prohibit it the way that you think that it does in about 10 or 12 states. Nebraska is one of them.”
Hilgers said state lawmakers, including himself, as speaker of the Nebraska Legislature at the time, in response, closed that loophole in Arizona law.
“We passed the law that said no foreign funding, either directly or indirectly, of state ballot initiatives,” he also said. “Well, it turns out that we have had a deluge of funding in Nebraska over the last several election cycles. Last year was $10 million, which in Nebraska is a lot of money … . It funds a lot of ballot petitions and all tied to a specific billionaire funder out of Switzerland, a guy by the name of Hansjorg Wyss. And we think it violates Nebraska state law, so we filed a lawsuit to put a stop to it.”
Hilgers went on to vow that his office would pursue discovery to uncover the details of the intermediary groups through which Wyss allegedly funneled the money. “We’re going to ask for all sorts of discovery, and we’re going to find out even more,” he insisted. “But what we found so far is that there’s a tremendous amount of money, upwards of a half a billion dollars, that has flowed into the United States to influence all sorts of elections.”
Wiese is a relatively little known figure, in contrast to George and Alex Soros, who have funded left-wing causes for years. Hilgers, for his part, highlighted some of Wiese’s public remarks in characterizing him as a similar, albeit quieter, actor.
“What he’s saying publicly is he’s far left, progressive. He certainly wants to influence the trajectory of the United States, I think, primarily through funding the state-wide ballots,” Hilgers said. “He has said publicly also that he’s kind of proud of the fact that his name is not on any of these donations, which they’re not, and so you can’t directly tie the money to him without some spade work, which we’ve done.”
“So we know it’s a lot of money. We know it’s from a foreign source. We know they’re going through intermediaries, and we know they’re really trying to turn states like Nebraska blue, and that’s why we filed the lawsuit,” he concluded.”

Just my opinions:
We should not rejoice when a political enemy or a personal enemy contracts a dread disease or falls into misfortune. IMO that is the “self-exalting pleasure” mentioned in the article.
We can rejoice when an enemy is hampered in doing evil—not because they are suffering, but because the harm is being halted. That is “rejoicing over God’s righteous action in dealing with his and our enemies.”
IMO when political enemies are stopped from progressing in their schemes, that is something for which to be thankful and a time to rejoice that good is triumphing over evil.
In the political realm, when someone is trying to destroy America, they are clearly enemies. I rejoice when their schemes are thwarted—not wishing illness or death on them, but that the destruction would stop and that justice would be done.
By the same token, when someone commits acts and speaks words to subvert the people in charge who are working to save our country and return her to a more principled, godly state, I will be glad if their destructive behavior is halted.
The alternative to not rejoicing at the stumbling or defeat of enemies (through God’s righteous hand and judgment, not from our selfish desires) is to have the attitude that all boundaries are to be avoided and to let people hurt or even kill us, and to fail to offer thanks to God for His deliverance. Neither of those is Scriptural.
I guess it all depends on who you see as your enemies.

Proverbs 22:17—24:34 contains thirty “Sayings of the Wise” compiled to nurture faith in God, correct or warn against wrong attitudes and behaviors, and instruct those seeking wisdom from the Lord. Proverbs 24:17–18 cautions, “Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and let not your heart be glad when he stumbles, lest the LORD see it and be displeased, and turn away his anger from him” (ESV).
This saying warns wisdom seekers to be careful not to celebrate when an enemy experiences misfortune. The word for “rejoice” is translated as “gloat” in other versions (NIV, CSB). This term means “to observe or think about something with triumphant and often malicious satisfaction, gratification, or delight.” Gloating over an enemy’s misfortune is associated with an arrogant and mocking attitude. It’s not easy to control the urge to gloat when our enemy experiences hardship, but Scripture says, “Those who rejoice at the misfortune of others will be punished” (Proverbs 17:5, NLT).
God is always watching our hearts (1 Samuel 16:7; Jeremiah 17:10; Hebrews 4:12; 1 Peter 3:11). Jesus taught us to love and forgive both enemies and friends and pray for our persecutors (Matthew 5:44). “Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you” (Luke 6:27–28). As Jesus hung on the cross, He practiced what He preached, forgiving His torturers and executioners (Luke 23:34). The first Christian martyr followed Christ’s example. As Steven was being stoned to death, he prayed for God to have mercy on his accusers (Acts 7:57–60).
If we disobey these commands, if we turn around and revel in our enemy’s downfall, we reveal attitudes of pride and superiority that God hates (Proverbs 16:5; 8:13; James 4:6). According to the proverb, if God sees us gloating when our enemy experiences a disaster, He may yield, turning His anger away from our enemy. The Lord may even turn against us in punishment (Proverbs 17:5).
The same disciple who retaliated by chopping off his enemy’s ear (John 18:10–11) later taught, “Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing” (1 Peter 3:9, NLT). Taking malicious delight in someone else’s failure is a form of revenge and an evil that God forbids. Peter grew to understand that God wants His followers to “turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it” (1 Peter 3:11).
To rejoice when our enemy falls is the opposite of expressing genuine Christian love, which Paul outlined in Romans 12. “Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. Do not repay anyone evil for evil. . . . Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath” (Romans 12:14–19). Paul went on to cite Proverbs 25:21–22: “If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the LORD will reward you.”
Why do we not rejoice when our enemy falls? Because the believer’s ultimate goal is to see an enemy become a brother or sister in Christ. The Lord taught us to accomplish this by treating our enemies with kindness, generosity, and humility (Matthew 5:39, 43–48). We “conquer evil by doing good” (Romans 12:21, NLT). Just as God’s kindness is intended to turn us away from our sin (Romans 2:4), our kindness might be just the thing to turn an enemy away from a life of sin toward repentance and salvation in Jesus Christ.

That’s a good explanation, but it does not cover those who are perpetrating evil by putting people’s lives in danger, etc.
Those people have to be stopped, and I see nothing wrong in rejoicing when they are stopped. That can be done out of a grateful heart and not with pride or superiority.
I can rejoice at the downfall of Hitler without feeling proud or superior. I can do it while still feeling genuine Christian love with the hope that he would (have) turned to God. I do it without gloating. I imagine a lot of people rejoice(d) in Hitler’s defeat with attitudes of sorrow at the destruction and death that he wrought and at the waste of human life. He had to be stopped, and it was good that he was.
A lot of “enemies” are on a much smaller scale than Hitler, but their efforts are often part of larger networks of people who want to control, manipulate, and use and destroy people or their way of life. IMO, those who want to defeat America, as well as oppose the only people who can save America, place themselves in the enemy camp. I am open to their taking themselves out of that position, but they have to make clear which side they’re on. And if their ruinous and evil plans are stopped, I will be thankful and rejoice.
I’m not arguing against this, but its incompleteness reminds me of those who thought they could win Muslims over by showing them love. You can’t be kind to people who want to defeat and even kill you, and expect your kindness to change their minds about what they do. If their goal is to kill you, or if that’s one of their choices in their encounters because they think you are an infidel or because they don’t care about human life, then you would be foolish in the extreme to think you can turn them around with kindness. There is a time and a place for everything.
We can pray for them and show the love of God to Muslims we might encounter in everyday life, but those who are perpetrating jihad will kill us. How to conquer that evil? By doing good? Maybe doing good in that case is to thoroughly defeat evil that won’t respond to kindness. Or it’s doing good to keep them from hurting more children. Maybe stopping that is something to rejoice in while feeling regret about their decisions and the consequences of those decisions.
Likewise, stopping politicians who are working against the agenda that wants to get criminals and other law-breakers out of our country in order to protect our men, women, and children is something about which to rejoice. It’s very easy to hide behind rhetoric that presents oneself as good while undermining the only path to diminishing or even eliminating evil. In that case, IMO, the one putting roadblocks in the way is an enemy of the country, and I rejoice if they are stopped while still recognizing God’s sovereignty and hoping and praying for them to get on the right path.
