Now I am no financial expert but I recall that for like 7.5 years the Fed kept interest rates at like 0.0% during Obozos terms. So I am thinking that Obozo really had anything bad to say against the Fed. Strange how the rates start to take off now. Hmmm.

I am looking into the formation of the federal reserve and the history of our currency in a feeble attempt to get a handle on this very question. A currency reset will cause a huge shift in wealth.
I have long thought that the US government intends to keep its promises to pay entitlements, but that they intend to inflate the currency so that the payments won’t cost as much. Of course, this means that the value of social security and retirement payments won’t buy very much, but that is part of the plan.
I am looking specifically at moving money into real estate (initially by paying off the fixed rate mortgage I have long held as a hedge against currency inflation) and investing in precious metals.
If what Q has been hinting at is going to come to pass, gold and silver along with other precious metals will be the way to go. Going back to the gold standard will be huge; I think Russia got a top off because they are also stockpiling gold.
If you can FIND gold. One of the things that started happening in the last 20 years that set alarm bells off in the tin foil hat world was when mutual fund families closed their precious metals funds. They still exist, but who is allowed to own them is a select group.
As for investing…no clue right now. None. I will tell you that Boeing has orders coming in, but that’s all I know.
Putin bought 400 TONS of gold to back the Russian Ruble. He saw what Ob4$+4rd and $0r0$, et al, were doing to the US $ and wanted to create stability in the Russian economy. IMO – that won’t happen in Russia until they get a handle on the rampant corruption/graft. Communists/Democrats and graft/corruption are Siamese twins.
But if you are not in possession of the gold, and SHTF, you (as a little person) will be the last to receive your gold (you’ll get screwed and get nothing—too far down the food chain!). Now gold coins you take possession of, probably yes!
This is what I was thinking. That and silver coins. Also if we’re talking about SHTF, I brew beer and make herbal concoctions. I also spin, knit, weave, sew, can, preserve, garden. I’m post apocalypse ready. 🙂

Our family feels the same way. My son served during the obama years… Three tours in the middle east and he was astonished at the rate of the decimation to the military that occurred during that time. Needless to say, when his 20 years rolled around he retired. Now he wishes he was still in the Army because of the love showed by this president. All these soldiers ever wanted was some respect from their country and recognition for laying their lives on the line. But most of the time, especially when liberals are in power, they are shunned and ridiculed… Thank you so much POTUS45 for loving our military and caring for our soldiers!

President Trump is the Commander in Chief of all the US Military. His CIC powers are very broad and very, very deep. As such, the CIC has the ability and right to order/approve/etc. anything he deems fit for the the Military. just came home from grocery shopping at Walmart. (I live in the boonies and this store is the CLOSEST store to me albeit still 45 minutes away.)
I attempted to buy bananas. There were several large hands (10) of bananas encircled by a sticky band. it’s just hubby and I at home, 10 is definitely way too many. But sitting in with the greener ones were 5 lonely bananas–roaming FREE from the band!
I grabbed them, stuck them in a plastic bag and off I went.
At the register the cashier confiscated my bananas! “We don’t sell them like this anymore. You have to buy the whole hand.”
“I said, I don’t want a whole hand, I only want 5…tell you what, charge me for the whole hand, but give me these.”
She signaled to the manager who came over and told me very loudly–“We can’t do that. I’ll take these.”
okay, I thought, I’ll play along…”So what will happen to those bananas if you won’t sell them to me?”
“We’ll throw them out.”
“Perfectly good food–you’re just gonna throw them out instead of selling them to me?”
She smiled and said it was store policy…and started to turn away…
“Well, I guess I’ll have to find another store for bananas,” I said to her–“and I guess I’ll just do ALL my shopping there.”
I didn’t pay for a single item—I left the cart right there—the cashier apologized to me and I to her and I left.

well i know the manager was having bad day–while standing in line, I heard her answer 3 cashiers who were trying to process walmart gift cards that were not loaded properly. She was being very polite to the customers holding said cards–but the cards were never loaded with cash amounts. The customers were all older grandma types so i don’t think she wanted to say the cards might have been stolen somehow.
I’ve purchased cards like that–you have to have them activated by paying whatever cash you want the card to be.
none of these cards were activated –so none of them had cash value–and all the shoppers were pissed…

Personally, if I had my druthers, I would expand the purely 2A “people’s militia” parts of it by increasing the overt recognition of the “grand people’s army” as a deterrent to tyranny and a preparation for defense of the nation, and encouraging people to become part of it. More training, more funding of safety education, and the right to own selective-action firearms if trained – CCW reciprocity (with a high national standard of training, maybe 12-16 hours) – removal of gun-free zones for licensed individuals (state and federal – work it out) and CLEAR labeling of such zones, etc., etc. Pre-emption of commie zones wherever possible.
However, hand in hand with this, there would need to be some “event-pushing-and-arranging people” whose public executions would serve to remind others not to assist such evil willingly. #Parkland is probably the place to start.

Stanislaus County Sheriff Adam Christianson said detectives identified the suspect in the slaying of Cpl. Ronil Singh of the small-town Newman Police Department but didn’t release his name. The attacker is still on the loose, and he said authorities searching for a second day believe he’s still in the area and is armed and dangerous.
“This suspect … is in our country illegally. He doesn’t belong here. He is a criminal,” Christianson said at a news conference.
Authorities are looking for a man seen in surveillance photos at a convenience store shortly before Singh was killed Wednesday. Officials pleaded for help from the public and said they were following up on several leads.
“The sheriff’s office will spare no expense in hunting down this criminal,” said Christianson, whose department is leading the investigation.
Christianson said Singh, a 33-year-old native of Fiji with an infant son, stopped the attacker as part of a DUI investigation and that the officer fired back to try to defend himself.
Singh was shot a few minutes after radioing that he was pulling over a gray pickup truck that had no license plate in Newman, a town of about 10,000 people some 100 miles southeast of San Francisco. Singh died at a hospital.
A ground and air search began for the heavyset man pictured at the store with short, dark hair and wearing a silver chain, jeans, dark T-shirt and a dark jacket with white Ecko brand patches on the shoulders.
A truck believed to have been the one stopped by Singh was later found in a garage in a mobile home park about 4 miles from the shooting, where law enforcement officers were serving a search warrant, The Modesto Bee reported. Investigators were examining the vehicle, police said.

There are certain obvious technical safety solutions for catastrophic failure which have never advanced in airplane design, and they are particularly feasible in SMALL aircraft design. I am quite sure I know why they never advanced. At a certain point, the reliability of aircraft as a tool of deep global state control is more valuable than the uncomfortable saving of large numbers of random lives.
