Normally, clearing the cache takes care of most WP problems. It didn’t mine (I’d done it first thing on Wednesday), but WP must have done something yesterday (Thursday), because I’m now able to comment again directly on the thread. Fingers crossed I can continue to do so.
That’s why I think it’s worth adding your 2 cents worth to my support thread.
