God’s Sovereignty & Man’s Free Will
It is impossible for us to fully understand the relationship between God’s sovereignty and man’s free will and responsibility. Only God truly knows how they work together in His plan of salvation. With this doctrine, probably more so than with any other, it is crucially important to admit our inability to fully grasp the nature of God and our relationship with Him. Going too far to either side results in a distorted understanding of salvation.
Scripture is clear that God determines who will be saved (Romans 8:29; 1 Peter 1:2). Ephesians 1:4 tells us that God chose us “before the creation of the world.” The Bible repeatedly describes believers as the “chosen” (Romans 8:33, 11:5; Ephesians 1:11; Colossians 3:12; 1 Thessalonians 1:4; 1 Peter 1:2, 2:9) and the “elect” (Matthew 24:22, 31; Mark 13:20, 27; Romans 11:7; 1 Timothy 5:21; 2 Timothy 2:10; Titus 1:1; 1 Peter 1:1). The fact that believers are predestined (Romans 8:29-30; Ephesians 1:5, 11) and elected for salvation (Romans 9:11, 11:28; 2 Peter 1:10) is clear.
The Bible also says that we are responsible for receiving Christ as Savior. If we believe in Jesus Christ we will be saved (John 3:16; Romans 10:9-10). God knows who will be saved and God chooses who will be saved, and we must choose Christ in order to be saved. How these facts work together is impossible for a finite mind to comprehend (Romans 11:33-36). Our responsibility is to take the gospel to the world (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8). We should leave foreknowledge, election, and predestination up to God and simply be obedient in sharing the gospel.
Along these same lines, the following are some excerpts from C. H. MackIntosh, a noted Christian theologian of the 19th century.

[Many Christians] cannot see the rightness of calling upon the unconverted to “come,” to “hear,” to “repent,” or to “believe.” It seems to [them] like telling a crab-tree to bear some apples in order that it may become an apple-tree.
Now, we thoroughly believe that faith is the gift of God, and that it is not according to man’s will or by human power. And further, we believe that not a single soul would ever come to Christ if not drawn, yea, compelled by divine grace so to do; and therefore all who are saved have to thank the free and sovereign grace of God for it; their song is, and ever shall be, “Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto Thy name give glory, for Thy mercy, and for Thy truth’s sake.”
And this we believe not as part of a certain system of doctrine, but as the revealed truth of God. But, on the other hand, we believe, just as fully, in the solemn truth of man’s moral responsibility, inasmuch as it is plainly taught in Scripture.
[God] has not confined Himself within the narrow limits of any school of doctrine. He has revealed Himself. He has told out the deep and precious secrets of His heart. He has unfolded His eternal counsels, as to the Church, as to Israel, the Gentiles, and the wide creation. Men might as well attempt to confine the ocean in buckets of their own formation as to confine the vast range of divine revelation within the feeble enclosures of human systems of doctrine. It cannot be done, and it ought not to be attempted. Better far to set aside the systems of theology and schools of divinity, and come like a little child to the eternal fountain of Holy Scripture, and there drink in the living teachings of God’s Spirit.
Let us face Scripture as it stands, and reject everything which will not stand the test. We may well call in question the soundness of a system which cannot meet the full force of the Word of God as a whole. If passages of Scripture seem to clash, it is only because of our ignorance. Let us humbly own this, and wait on God for further light. This, we may depend upon it, is safe moral ground to occupy. Instead of endeavoring to reconcile apparent discrepancies, let us bow at the Master’s feet and justify Him in all His sayings. Thus shall we reap a harvest of blessing, and grow in the knowledge of God and His Word as a whole.

We can hypothesize all we want, and some aspects of that discussion are subject to reason among those who accept the hypothesis, and those who don’t, but at a certain point, the basic assertion of an ultimate primordial intelligence which is capable of what we are not, necessitates the above (where it does not equate to the above).

1. In February 2019, Tillis wrote a Washington Post op-ed opposing Trump’s declaration of a national emergency to fund the border wall, arguing it violated the Constitution’s separation of powers. He caved after pressure from his NC voters.
2. Tillis co-sponsored a bipartisan bill in 2018 to protect Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
3. He tried to tank the Hegseth nomination when he worked behind the scenes to oppose the nomination. He encouraged Hegseth’s ex-sister-in-law to provide a sworn statement alleging alcohol abuse and spousal mistreatment, hoping to sway other GOP senators.
4. Tillis delivered a fiery Senate speech condemning Vladimir Putin as a “liar, murderer” and “the greatest threat to democracy in my lifetime,” implicitly rebuking Trump’s take on the conflict and stated he would not to support Trump national security nominees who didn’t back Ukraine.
5. During Trump’s first impeachment in 2020, Tillis voted to acquit, arguing the House case was weak, but he ran campaign ads emphasizing his opposition to removal, distancing himself from Trump’s legal peril.
6. He also supported the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, providing funds for red laws.
7. Now he is standing in the way of confirming Ed Martin.

What are the odds someone else has used your Social Security number? One in 7.
That’s the stunning conclusion of a San Diego company’s analysis of 290 million Social Security numbers, which found that 40 million of them have been attached to more than one name. The study, conducted by the fraud-fighting firm ID Analytics, is the first of its kind that’s been made available to the public.
We first wrote about the problem of “SSN-only” identity theft five years ago, and estimated that millions of Americans were on the “secret list of identity theft victims” whose SSNs had been misappropriated by an imposter to obtain work or credit.
The IRS often knows when this happens, when the imposter pays taxes. The Social Security Administration knows, too, for the same reason. And the nation’s credit bureaus usually know, because the imposter often ends up applying for some form of credit. Plenty of financial institutions also have access to this information.
But no one is telling you. In short, all these government agencies and financial firms don’t think you have a right to know.
We’re no closer to finding out who’s on that list today, but at least we now know how big the problem is: much bigger than we originally estimated.
ID Analytics is a data collection firm that specializes in helping companies separate imposters from honest consumers. Its client list is long, and includes many major financial firms as well as the Social Security Administration. Over the past decade, it has amassed files on virtually every American who is active in the financial system. It now tracks 290 million Social Security numbers and nearly 300 million people.
Normally, the company receives credit applications from clients and checks them against its vast database, looking for signs of fraud. Criminals do crafty things like apply for a credit card at 10 different banks using SSNs that are only one digit away from each other. Or they use slightly different first names or street addresses in an attempt to evade a poor credit history or crime record. Because ID Analytics receives applications from multiple industries, it can spot these signs of fraud in ways that the individual companies cannot.
20 million use more than one SSN
One typical pattern: An imposter uses one name but alternate Social Security numbers in an attempt to circumvent the credit reporting system; ID Analytics is geared up to spot just that kind of evasion. It’s a tough job, because the incidence of multiple numbers connected to the same name is enormous: Dr. Stephen Coggeshall, chief technology officer at the firm, said 20 million Americans have multiple SSNs associated with their names, or 6 percent of the total population.
That doesn’t mean there are 20 million identity thieves out there, even though it might feel like that. In many cases, typos are the culprit, Coggeshall said. Any time a consumer gives an SSN to a company, there’s a chance it will be incorrectly entered into its system, and the error will then propagate throughout the credit system. Once that happens, SSN No. 2 is forever connected to the rightful holder of SSN No. 1. The incorrect SSN might belong to a real person, which can cause a headache for both people, or it might be “synthetic” — an unassigned number that becomes a new entity in the credit system. No one knows how many of these synthetic “people” exist in our credit system, but there are likely millions of them.
It’s relatively easy to spot innocent mistakes, Coggeshall said, because the number is used only once in connection with the name. It’s easy to spot fraud, too — any time a person shows up in the system using SSN No. 2, or No. 3, or No. 4, over and over again. Deliberate fraud is responsible for less than half of the 20 million names attached to multiple SSNs, but it is still a large percentage.
“A good fraction of that group, maybe 15 to 20 percent, of these mistakes are deliberate,” Coggeshall said. “There are systematic variations, deliberate manipulations. … I see many people who have a lot of Socials (SSNs).”
How many? ID Analytics says it has 3 million to 4 million names that have been used to commit identity fraud.
That’s an astonishing number, but it pales in comparison to the next figure.
Five million SSNs attached to three or more people
Recently, Coggeshall decided to reverse his research. Instead of looking for people connected to multiple SSNs, which is most useful for businesses, he looked at SSNs that are connected to multiple people, much more interesting to consumers. In other words, how many people in the U.S. are essentially sharing their identities with someone else?
The answer: 40 million. That means nearly one in 7 SSN holders in the U.S. have two or more names attached to their SSN records.
Please note, this is not an estimate conjured up from a sample. This is ID Analytics looking at its own data, picking out SSNs that have more than one name attached and building its own list. We now know: The secret list of ID theft victims has 40 million people on it.
Coggeshall said it’s important to note that not every one of those consumers is hit with fraud. Many are on the list because of typographical errors. For example, if a company incorrectly enters an SSN and the number accidentally belongs to someone else, as explained above, the rightful holder of SSN No. 2 would end up on this list. Coggeshall said he believes many of the 40 million are on the list as the result of such mistakes.
But millions of those SSNs are being used to commit fraud. Some cases are obvious. More than 140,000 SSNs are associated with five or more people, and 27,000 are connected to 10 or more people, for example.
“Once an SSN is connected to even three people, it’s pretty clear something is wrong,” he said. The firm found that 5 million SSNs have been connected to three or more people.
In addition to criminals committing financial fraud, there’s a more controversial reason that some consumers end up on this list: They are essentially sharing identities with undocumented workers who buy or borrow an SSN in order to fill out necessary paperwork to obtain employment.
The number of illegal immigrants using Americans’ SSNs to obtain work is unknown, but a series of studies provides some hints.
The Pew Hispanic Center estimates that there are about 12 million unauthorized immigrants in the United States. Those who are working are required to give a SSN to their employer. In 2007, the IRS said it believes 6 million undocumented workers paid federal taxes. And every year, according to the Social Security Administration, nearly 10 million workers pay taxes using the wrong SSN, ending up in what the agency calls a “no-match” situation.
Most of the information my searches turn up has to do with how the IRS handles issues with id theft from fraudulent tax filings.

But the issue I’m struggling to get information on is the worse problem of paying your payroll social security taxes into the system for years and then finding out it’s been mingled with another file or something like that. I can’t recall the exact details, but social security sure is persistent in reminding people to check those records to catch any “errors.”
We are basically error-checkers for the cover-up.
I should note that SSN’s are three digits, two digits, then four digits — for a total of nine.
Thus, the maximum number of SSN’s would be 1,000,000,000. While this probably looked plenty back in the day when they started with this, remember that there are supposed to be roughly 330,000,000 actual physical real people running around in the US today. Add those who have previously died during the existence of SSN’s, and then start taking out EINs (which are also nine digits)…..every small business with a payroll needs an EIN, as well as any entity that needs to periodically file a tax or information return (like estates, trusts, political parties, etc.).
We’re probably down to a couple of hundred million available.
The situation is similar to telephone numbers when everyone got fax lines and cellphones.
I think we now know with extreme confidence why Big Balls has joined the Social Security Administration.
At my age, that is as exciting as an extended view of nekkid WGTTs.
It is high time for a modern solution (like UUIDs and GUIDs) to the SSN identity issue.

I read once that self cleaning oven liners are largely cerium oxide, but further investigation shows that’s mainly true for continuous self-cleaning ovens.

According to things I saw while quickly checking things for my comment, in general lanthanides all appear as a mix in the same ores (there are “heavy” and “light” lanthanides that tend to appear separately, with the dividing line being 64-gadolinium–the heavy ones tend not to crumble to dust in air though they tarnish quickly). Even reading the story of how they were discovered it turns out that the heavy and light ones were in separate discovery “threads”.
Cerium is not only the most common of the bunch, it’s readily separable from the others because only it forms a +4 oxidation state.

Some of the declarations in the birthright citizenship case are infuriating.
Here is “Liza,” a Russian citizen. So is her husband.
She had a baby in February and when she heard of Pres Trump’s exec order, “my world fell apart,” Liza claimed.
She went on to say that the president’s order “basically says that my child is ‘a nobody.'”
Imagine any other country tolerating this sort of arrogance and entitlement from noncitizens on their soil for a short period of time. “Liza” thinks she is owed all of the rights and privileges US citizens have.
“Liza” gets to conceal her name in the lawsuit because she fears “retaliation” from the president.
She then lectures us about the “rights” her baby and others babies are entitled to and brags about her lifelong dedication to “justice.”
Leave, “Liza.”
Considering she is a student and they have a baby, hard to imagine they are not receiving lots of government assistance from us. So “Liza” and her husband come here recently, have an anchor baby, receive generous taxpayer benefits–and lectures all of us about their “rights” and blasts the president.

A big reason why the BBB must pass even with its flaws.
In addition to the massive tax hike that will result if the Trump tax cuts from 2017 are allowed to lapse — they were put in place for only 8 years when they were passed — this is the only legislation available where Congress can change policy by statute with 51 votes.
One of the big problems with Continuing Resolutions is that they continue all policies that were put in place the last time the Democrats had both the House and Senate. The passed a Reconciliation bill with 51 votes and loaded it up with a ton of liberal progressive policies. Those remain in place until new legislation changes thing.
The BBB is the only bill the GOP can pass without a Democrat filibuster. It is the one opportunity they will clearly have to shift Govt policy away from the progressive policies put in place by a Dem. Congress and signed by Biden.
It is a “Must Pass” bill even with its flaws.
This is a marathon, not a sprint.
After the midterms, hopefully with a supermajority, the filibuster will become irrelevant and nuked.

The Department of Education is cracking down on “ghost students,” AI scammers and others whom they save have recently swindled of tens-of-millions of dollars recently from the federal government – including roughly $8.4 million alone from California community colleges.
Within California’s system of 116 community colleges, 31% of applications last year – or 1.2 million – were found to be likely fraudulent, according to data from the office of the chancellor for the college system.
What makes the system vulnerable is that anyone who applies is admitted and more students not having to attend class as a result of the increase in remote learning since the COVID-19 pandemic.
The scammers, with the help of stolen identities, bots and artificial intelligence join classes and stay enrolled until they receive their financial aid checks, according to The Los Angeles Times.
“The biggest target for fraud rings tends to be community colleges and lower-cost institutions,” Jason Williams, an official with the Education Department’s Office of Inspector General, said on a recent agency podcast. “This is because their tuition costs are lower than other schools, which increases the student aid award balance for the fraudulent student.”
While prevalent in California, the problem of fake applications is nationwide, with reports of fraud rings in states including Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri and Nevada.
The Education Department reported in May nearly $90 million in disbursements recently to ineligible recipients across the U.S., including thousands of deceased individuals receiving some form of payment.
In Mississippi, a mother and daughter team recruited anyone in the area willing to participate. They then used these identities to apply for student aid, register for classes and collect the checks when the money was disbursed. They were later put in prison after obtaining $2.5 million.
And a father-son team was caught in Arizona after targeting $7.4 million across 300 identities and many schools across the nation. Many of the IDs in this case were stolen, according to the department’s IG office.
Such cases frequently involve what are known as fraud rings. There is often a ringleader who recruits family, friends or anyone willing to participate to give out their personal information, such as a social security number, to create fake accounts.
AI and chatbots are also often used to operate such schemes, according to the Associated Press. And while many fraud rings can be traced to the U.S., some have reportedly been traced to places outside of the country.
The College of Southern Nevada is reportedly facing $7.43 million in debt due to fraud, with many of the “ghost students” reportedly found to be outside the U.S.
In an attempt to stop fraudsters, the Chancellor’s Office for California Community Colleges says it’s doing a “complete redesign”of its application, and officials are considering a nominal, perhaps $10, application fee to cut down on the number of fake applications.
At about the same time, the Education Department has announced that an identity verification process will be put in place this year for students receiving Federal Student Aid.
“As we continue to rehabilitate the student loan portfolio, we must also ensure there are accountability measures at every step of the student aid process,” Education Secretary Linda McMahon said last month. “From start to finish – filling out the FAFSA form to loan repayment – the American taxpayer underwrites federal student aid programs. We are committed to protecting and responsibly investing their hard-earned dollars.”

we do divide our trash–because we have to. because we are the lone year round residents on this road–on the very edge of “town” trash collectors won’t come out this way. so we burn whatever we can, and the food garbage? we used to compost that in the woods till it attracted too many bears and they became a nuisance. now we bag it up and deposit it in the local gas station trash bin when we get gas. there is a “transfer station” in the county seat for bigger things and electronics if we need to get rid of them.
Great fan of transfer stations, once we discovered them.

I can put them in a bin somewhere, but what happens after that is completely out of my hands. Yes. I don’t drink bottled water but have some on hand for emergencies. The plastic is so thin that they barely hold their shape.
You can literally crush the bottle as you drink from it if your lips form a tight seal.

Getting a spacecraft to impact the sun requires canceling our entire orbital speed of 26 km/sec. We literally cannot do this yet, without help. Yes, we can send a probe to Pluto without help (though we did take advantage of it to shorten the mission length), but we can’t drop things into the sun.
The Parker Solar Probe needed multiple gravity assists to get as close to the Sun as it gets.
My husband reticles and takes it to the proper bin. We do compost so it’s all paper stuff , glass and plastic for recycling.
The only “recycling” I believe in is scrap metal. Because that’s really the scrap metal industry.
I talked with a city engineer about this one time. He said they have to keep people “trained” to sort out the recycle even if the systems to use that sorting are still not in place. First the training, then the actual systems to use the sorted materials.
I’m fine with sorting, but plenty of people don’t do it and it ruins some materials so they are not usable.
I’ve given up on plastic bags though. They all go into trash.
Unless you are making junk toys not expected to last, recycling plastics is a really really crappy idea.
When I worked for a plastics company we tried to find the optimal level of IN HOUSE recycling (off spec & stringers) the MAXIMUM was 10% before the properties of the plastic degraded.
Every time you put a plastic thru a heat cycle, you chop up some of the long chains. You go from spaghetti to MUSH or Polypropylene to ‘wax.’

I have read a few times of individuals designing an apparatus that took useless plastic and processed it into a sort of gasoline or oil.
Depending on the additives and the type of plastc, there is no reason plastic waste can not be burned as a fuel for electric generation.
In one plant I worked the unpolymerized monomer was removed at the end of the process and used to fuel the generators. (We had a lot of power outages)

Today is my late father’s birthday. He passed away 19 years ago. The sorrow, while it has healed somewhat, is still there.
Today marks the 8th month after my older brother’s passing. That sorrow is starting to calm down.

Yours Truly has witnessed — tried to help with — was part of — the unresolved, unrelenting sorrow and anxiety issues that were part of my birth family. I saw what unresolved, unrelenting sorrow and anxiety did to my birth family. I have no intention of being part of that ethos.
I do believe, on the other hand, that it can be difficult to break / change the learned habits of this type of family history. I’ve been working for over seven years to break / change these habits. I’ve made real progress, but the process is ongoing. Part of the process is realizing that, while memories and prior life experiences cannot be “erased” from the mind (which will store everything, even things that aren’t fully remembered), it is absolutely possible to “process them” so that they do not become permanent habits in the current family member. Part of this “processing” involves acknowledging the past, realizing that the past is done, and healing it — not doing what my birth family did: pushing it aside, ignoring it, or reliving the sorrow and pain.
I firmly believe that breaking / changing a family history like that of my birth family can be done. It involves a multi-pronged approach: diet / exercise / therapy or counseling / self-care / deep personal determination / thought control / a positive connection with the Almighty, among other aspects.
Accept the memories embrace them with love they will disappear. The more you fight them the more the haunt you.
This is spiritual . Always embrace, love and breath out and let it go.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune and the Senate GOP finally grew a spine and sent a message to the unelected bureaucrat trying to tear apart President Trump’s big, beautiful bill.

I wondered about that. It’s supposed to be a guy and his wife, so I guess the wife is videoing the whole thing instead of saying anything to the poor woman or helping her personally in any way.
Then there’s the idea of videoing someone in that down-and-out condition for the world to see. I didn’t see her get asked if that was okay, and I didn’t see her once look toward the camera to see what was going on or ask why she was being videoed.
She was an attractive lady, which unfortunately made me suspicious also.

I either pay them cash or they provide me fake documents showing that they have a Social Security card or they have some sort of work permit that’s fake. That’s the only way.
But there’s a loophole:
Let’s just say that the employee is Pedro. So Pedro comes in and says, hey, how about I use my LLC because I have a lawn service or a carpet cleaning service or whatever. And Pedro forms Pedro LLC. He gets workers comp exempt because he’s the only employee and you don’t need workers comp if you’re a self employed individual.
So now he just has liability insurance. And liability insurance is pretty cheap for carpet cleaning. So now I can pay him from my corporation to his corporation to his LLC. And the only thing that I’m required to have is prove that he’s got liability and workers comp.
I didn’t pay in payroll taxes. I didn’t pay workers comp. I didn’t pay any of that. He didn’t. He didn’t have to worry about labor laws. I don’t have to pay him overtime. He doesn’t have to make minimum wage. It’s just an invoice from a corporation to a corporation and that’s how it’s done.
So don’t tell me there’s no cash in contracting. There’s no cash in construction. It’s just a loophole from corporation to corporation.”

– They just need to apply for an ITIN number from the IRS
– All you need for the ITIN number is a foreign birth certificate or foreign identification documents
They do this quick, simply loophole and illegals can then get paid to work in America

Why is the IRS issuing these ITINs to illegals? Doesn’t need a law, it needs the IRS to revoke ITINs from illegals. That seems simple enough to enact immediately. Should never have been allowed.

American Immigration Attorney says that she’s had illegal clients who have had MULTIPLE DUIs and are still able to get Green Cards and get Citizenship
“The United States House of Representatives has just passed a bill that will make DUI an inadmissible and deportable offense. And before you say that already exists, let me tell you, no, it doesn’t. The Immigration and Nationality act does not qualify DUI as an inadmissible or deportable offense.
Which means you can still get your green card with the DUI. You can still become a citizen with a DUI. Multiple DUIs, actually. I’ve gotten clients science that to become a United States citizen.
But now with this new bill, it will make a person who has either been convicted or admits to the elements of DUI to be inadmissible and deportable from the United States. This doesn’t matter if in the state the DUI is recognized as a misdemeanor or felony or even as a ticket. The bill called HR875 will make its way to the Senate.
If the Senate passes it, then it goes in front of the President, the President signs it, then it becomes a law. And then the Immigration and Nationality act will be amended to include DUI as a deportable and inadmissible offense.
If this passes, this will stop immigrants from being able to get their green cards with a DUI or even become a United States citizen with such charge.”

We have discovered that voters in Michigan have multiple voter ID#’s, with some having 10 voter ID#’s.
When we have compared local & State voter histories of an individual, the discoveries are:
•multiple voter ID#’s
•wrong voting jurisdiction
•wrong registration dates
•no time stamps on State docs
Mailer ballots can be que’d to these bot voter ID#’s and clerks in large cities or in college towns would be none the wiser.
The clerks electronic poll books hold all the data. We have a plethora of this data in Michigan before the SOS forbade them from giving this once FOIA’d information. The SOS also “directs” clerks to destroy this data after the election.

I asked this because the implication of Juanita Broaddrick’s graphic was that there was a 1:1 correlation between no-id (or no photo id) and a state voting for Harris.

I made the mistake of asking about congress, but not president. But the 5 that did “go” for Trump sure are close to almost not going for him.

The reason Colorado didn’t show up on that list was that it is not a No ID state, only a No Photo ID state. So it wasn’t hallucinating. When you asked directly about Colorado and no Photo ID, gab gave the correct answer for that question as well.
However, it’s worse than that. Since Colorado is mail in ballot by default (everyone is mailed a ballot), it’s really only an “ID but doesn’t have to be a photo ID” when you register to vote or choose to vote in person. However, the last time I voted in person, I was specifically told NOT to show an ID. So I am assuming any ID requirement is for registering to vote–essentially useless as a utility bill with the name you are using to register is considered valid ID.
I didn’t finish the hallucination story. gab.ai told me that Joe Biden won CO in 2024 with 55.2% of the vote. I reminded it that Harris was the candidate and it corrected itself, saying Kamala Harris won CO with 53.8% of the vote.

Suffice it to say full photo ID should be a requirement to vote, and proof of citizenship should be a requirement to register.
I don’t dislike mailed-out ballots so long as they must be returned IN PERSON to where it will be counted (and on election day or maybe as much as three days prior–I won’t die on that “three days” hill though) and a Photo ID check and signature check made at that time. I.e., the clerk should watch you sign the envelope and compare with the signature in the voter rolls, just as has to be done when voting in person.

Authorities believe at least two firefighters were killed as they continue to take rapid sniper fire in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho
A sniper who was still on the loose late Sunday shot at firefighters battling a mountain wildfire in Idaho, killing at least two people and injuring more, authorities said.
During a news conference, Kootenai County Sheriff Robert Norris said that at least two people were killed, possibly firefighters. Norris added that they are still “actively taking sniper fire” as he spoke.
“We now have two deaths. We have an unknown amount of casualties,” Norris said. “We still have civilians that are coming off of that mountain. We have we might have civilians that are stuck or in shock on that mountain. So this is a very, very fresh situation.”
“We don’t know who [the] suspect or suspects are, and we don’t know how many suspects there may be,” Norris said.

Calling for Zohran Mamdani’s denaturalization isn’t just wrong — it’s blatant Islamophobia. It’s also anti-democratic and a disgrace to the office of a Member of Congress.
This Administration’s failure to condemn this vile attack and other forms of Anti-Muslim hate undermines the safety of our Muslim friends and neighbors. It is all too normalized in our civil discourse. This concerns me deeply, as both a defender of religious freedom and a Jewish woman.

Nah, you guys know what? I’m just gonna come out and say it. And when I’m done saying it, tell me if it’s “blatant Islamophobia” or just…. you know… reality.
Let me explain to you some of the things I witnessed with my very own eyes in multiple Muslim countries. This will not be for the weak or faint of heart.
1. They didn’t just massacre one another in Baghdad, they chopped each other up into little pieces and stuffed them in underground vats. SPC Plocica was the only one with a strong enough stomach to fish the pieces out with a coat hanger so we could confirm the report. Don’t worry @Primz94933160 was there too as a witness. Rib cages with rotted flesh, pieces of legs with shoes attached, arms, hands, you name it. It was the most disgusting thing I’ve seen with my two eyes.
2. The obsession with having sex with children or feminine men. The saying over there was women are for breeding and men are for fun. We had to protect our fairer looking male Soldiers from being molested CONSTANTLY. But that isn’t the worst part. I once stumbled upon an Afghan colonel r*ping his 11 year old assistant, I heard the unholy noises emanating from his tent on our FOB. When I moved to interdict I was stopped for fear of a Green on Blue incident. And then we were all “educated” on the fact that this was CULTURALLY ACCEPTABLE FOR THEM TO DO. It was as normal as breathing.
3. Women are less than nothing to them. I would always ask how many children elders had for small talk. They could have 10 kids. 7 daughters and 3 sons. What will they tell you? They have 3 sons. I watched a man carrying his dead daughter in his arms to my FOB. She died due to a malfunctioned bomb we dropped. That didn’t matter to him. He dropped her on the ground with a stone cold face and demanded we pay him. She was f*****g NOTHING to him. He left the body with us and walked away counting his money.
4. Some of them have sex with animals. Ask me if I saw a man from COP 763 in east Baghdad mount a donkey in the middle of the night through a RAID FLIR camera. Because the answer will be yes.
5. They did heinous things in battle. Suicide bombings. Using their own wives as human shields. Using children as shields. Shooting from mosques. Spitting at our working dogs… or worse.
This all sounds crazy right? And I bet my comment section will flow with similar horror stories. It almost sounds like I’m making it up huh? I wish I was. I really do.
I know good Muslims in America. One of them is among my closest friends. But he’s passed through the American filter…HEAVILY. I can safely say he is literally one of us.
My question for you is, how are you not “Islamophobic”? My assessment comes from 4 total years immersed in multiple Islamic nations.
I wish I could say I’m sorry that I’m an inconvenient truth teller against your agenda.
But I’m not sorry at all. You must open your eyes. You MUST see this is a problem. Don’t you? How can you not?

This is the post that triggered millions of views, a few accusations, and more support than I could’ve imagined. Let me set the record straight… for the press, for allies, for critics, and for my brothers and sisters in uniform.
I have nothing against the faith of people. The truth is, much of what I described in that original post (the barbarism I witnessed overseas) is prohibited by the Quran itself. I know this. I’ve lived alongside those who practiced their faith peacefully, with dignity, and who rejected extremism as much as I did.
I will fight alongside anyone who believes in liberty, responsibility, and the sacred bond of service, Muslim or otherwise. I have. I still would.
I’ve also fought shoulder to shoulder with allies of other nations, whose values aligned with ours in pursuit of a common mission. Faith, ethnicity, and birthplace have never been the issue. Ideology has.
What I’m uncomfortable with (and what I refuse to accept) is the lazy weaponization of the term “Islamophobia” to silence serious conversations about mass migration from unstable, extremist-influenced regions. That term implies I hate a religion. I do not. It implies I judge people by faith. I do not.
But I do judge based on values. And those values matter when we decide who we invite to share in the American experiment.
If you can’t separate religion from ideology, culture from conduct, or compassion from naivety, then maybe the issue isn’t my clarity, it’s your projection.
You’ll have to work very, very hard to call me a racist. And you’ll have to do mental gymnastics at Olympic levels to twist my body of work into anything other than what it is:
An American telling the truth about what he saw, what he believes, and what he wants to protect.
I don’t speak for everyone. But I speak clearly.
I am not hateful. I am not a bigot.
I am an American.
And I want what’s best for America.

People will accuse you of “Islamophobia” because you are making people aware of the fact that we should not be importing savage medieval cultures into the USA, and since that importation is their source of power, they will say anything to silence anyone who tells the truth.

This is how it works in Northern Idaho. People there are not kidding around about their guns. The sheriff knows.
Seems like she needs to find a provider that is not contracted with UHC at this point if she wants to get this treatment. (I do believe that there may be other options for her condition.)

I have always enjoyed listening to Michael Savage. This 6 minutes was good and I remember growing up in a world similar to what he describes. We didn’t call bad people names. I just did my best to stay away from bad people. Nobody did drugs that I knew until I was in college, but then when I visited home, musicians did to druge too. Strange how that worked. I started college in 1973.
I came to US in1964 and still got to experience the US as it used to be.
Even Germany specially western part has changed. The east was like that and wonderful the way people did friendships and close families . The communism was the problem but maybe that is what kept the society together because people needed each other. Today no one needs anyone everyone has plenty compared to poor countries. The more affluent people become the families break down also friendships. Relationships seem more one sited what I can get from you instead true equal sharing give and take. Times have changed and we have to accept a new way of living adapt or parish 🙄
Safety is luxury people have come bring their third world values with them that are not comparable the way it used to be. One was able to leave windows open at night, walk in the dark no one bothered anyone. Kids were able to play in safety and neighbors watched out for each other. Pastors preached the gospel and rejected societies aberrations. Savage is right “that time has past and is never going to come back”. Young people only know a chaotic world and it begins with day care mom working.
I was grade school when you came to the US. I did not know anyone lived differently than our extended family, helping each other with their various skills. My mom thought it would be good for me to go to college and not come home every weekend. Talk about tossing me in the deep end. hehehe… I was very naive but survived it. The more I think about my path through life, I see that God gave me opportunities to learn and stay out of trouble. Now that I live back near home, I am learning lots of new things about how different my life has been than some I knew when I was young. So many paths. I have done some bad and stupid things in my life but I would not change a thing and hope I’m a little wiser than when I was young when life was an experiment.

I was raised . as it was normal, to stay home to be the perfect housewife, mother and wife. I had no choice my parents and society paved that way.
My husband’s mother always worked he was looking for a wife and future mother of his children to stay home.
I did lots of volunteer work and tried to better myself. I too saw the hands of God in my life the steppingstones were there for me.
I am a creative person and try new things all the time. I am never bored feel free to do what ever fills my curiosity God has His hands in every persons life..
Thank you, Singing! I agree that God is there for us all. My mom stayed home and helped my dad with his bookkeeping for both his auto body and insurance businesses. They worked well together.
She was always there for my brother and me too. They raised a big garden and mom canned veggies and had a big freezer to buy meat in larger quantities from a local meat locker. Dad made life fun for us, finding a new sand bar in the spring along the Mississippi River where it was safe for us to swim and wave at the men on barges going up/down the river.
She was an exceptional cook, always tried new things, and I feel that gave us a healthy start in life. I do believe that’s a wonderful way for kids to grow up and learn lessons from their mom. Mine worked hard, loved us, and was great at analyzing things. One could never fool my mom. hehehe…

I wanted my daughter to go as far as she could . She did well out in the workforce. I feared that if her marriage did not work out she could be poor. So many people divorced. She has been married 24 Years and all seems working out. She hired a grandma babysitter who was at home when she got home from school.
It sounds like your daughter has found a good path to make things work out. A grandma babysitter is an excellent choice. Several of my aunts and cousins are doing this with their grands. Such a blessing to pass along their wisdom.
Granddaughter called her grandma . The lady was a friend and her husband had been a pilot in the military stationed in Germany.. She spoke some German and was with her until she was 14.
