2025·07·05 We Will Have Justice Daily Thread

What is it that feeds our battle, yet starves our victory?

January 6 Tapes?

Where are the tapes? Anyone, Anyone? Bueller? Johnson??

Paging Speaker Johnson…this is your conscience calling you out on broken promises.

Evading Reality

Many things the Left believes are simply not true. Right now the focus is on the size and scope of our government, and the many many billions of dollars the government has been spending on no-one-knew-what. None of that money is going to a key role of government. Which, after all, has the sole purpose of protecting rights.

And if you, Leftist Lurker, want to dismiss this as dead white cis-male logic…well, you can call it what you want, but then please just go fuck off. No one here buys that bullshit–logic is logic and facts are facts regardless of skin color–and if you gave it a moment’s rational thought, you wouldn’t either. Of course your worthless education never included being able to actually reason–or detect problems with false reasoning–so I don’t imagine you’ll actually wake up as opposed to being woke.

As Ayn Rand would sometimes point out: Yes, you are free to evade reality. What you cannot do is evade the consequences of evading reality. Or to put it concretely: You can ignore the Mack truck bearing down on you as you play in the middle of the street, you won’t be able to ignore the consequences of ignoring the Mack truck.

And Ayn Rand also pointed out that existence (i.e., the sum total of everything that exists) precedes consciousness–our consciousnesses are a part of existence, not outside of it–therefore reality cannot be a “social construct” as so many of you fucked-up-in-the-head people seem to think.

So much for Leftist douchebag lurkers. For the rest of you, the regular readers and those lurkers who understand such things, well here we go for another week of WINNING against the Deep State.

I confess that the novelty has not worn off.

Justice Must Be Done.

The prior election must be acknowledged as fraudulent, and steps must be taken to prosecute the fraudsters and restore integrity to the system.

Yes, we won this time around. Not only did we win, we got to KEEP that win instead of having it stolen from us.

But no one should imagine that that’s the end of electoral fraud. Much work needs to be done to ensure it doesn’t just happen again next time around. And incidentally to rescue those states currently in the grips of self-perpetuating fraud, where the people who stole the last election, make sure it’s easier to steal the next one.

This issue, though it’s not front-and-center right now, is not going away, and if we ignore it, we’ll pay the price. See the article above about the consequences of evading reality.

Lawyer Appeasement Section

OK now for the fine print.

This is the WQTH Daily Thread. You know the drill. There’s no Poltical correctness, but civility is a requirement. There are Important Guidelines,  here, with an addendum on 20191110.

We have a new board – called The U Tree – where people can take each other to the woodshed without fear of censorship or moderation.

And remember Wheatie’s Rules:

1. No food fights
2. No running with scissors.
3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.
4. Zeroth rule of gun safety: Don’t let the government get your guns.
5. Rule one of gun safety: The gun is always loaded.
5a. If you actually want the gun to be loaded, like because you’re checking out a bump in the night, then it’s empty.
6. Rule two of gun safety: Never point the gun at anything you’re not willing to destroy.
7. Rule three: Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire.
8. Rule the fourth: Be sure of your target and what is behind it.

(Hmm a few extras seem to have crept in.)

Spot Prices.

Kitco Ask. Last week:

Gold $3,272.79/3,274.80
Silver $35.92/36.04
Platinum $1340.00/1350.00
Palladium $1132.00/1152.00
Rhodium $5,350.00/5,800.00
FRNSI* 157.418+
Gold:Silver 90.866-

This week, US markets closed as of 11AM MT; evidently July 4th isn’t a complete holiday for them.

Gold $3,335.93/3,337.93
Silver $36.86/36.98
Platinum $1391.00/1401.00
Palladium $1133.00/1153.00
Rhodium $5,350.00/5,800.00
FRNSI* 160.472+
Gold:Silver 90.263+

Everything up this last week…Silver gaining slightly against gold. Platinum has not been this high since 2014 (it peaked today about $5 higher than it was at close).

*The SteveInCO Federal Reserve Note Suckage Index (FRNSI) is a measure of how much the dollar has inflated. It’s the ratio of the current price of gold, to the number of dollars an ounce of fine gold made up when the dollar was defined as 25.8 grains of 0.900 gold. That worked out to an ounce being $20.67+71/387 of a cent. (Note gold wasn’t worth this much back then, thus much gold was $20.67 71/387ths. It’s a subtle distinction. One ounce of gold wasn’t worth $20.67 back then, it was $20.67.) Once this ratio is computed, 1 is subtracted from it so that the number is zero when the dollar is at its proper value, indicating zero suckage.

Much Winning these last couple of weeks.

Not tired yet.

cthulhu

When slugs start looking good, it’s time to rethink your dating methods….

cthulhu

Maybe the next novel to recommend to Valerie should be Puppet Masters…..

cthulhu

I looked into it, and there’s supposedly a “author’s cut” of the novel that is 25% longer, released posthumously. I should look into doing a re-read, myself.

WSB

Has anyone ever seen ‘Running Man’? Made in 1987 with Schwarzenegger.

Based in the future, 2017. Hillary’s coronation, I am assuming.

I really could not get past about 45 minutes. Tried. Yet another Hollywood ‘premonition’?

WSB

Apparently it has everybody in it.

Just looked it up. Should have known it is a Steven King novel!

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093894/fullcredits/#cast

Richard Dawson plays the game show host.

Dweezil Zappa is even in it.

Looks like summer camp for Hollywood, but the story blows my mind. From 1987 to being set in 2017? Market crash, economy crash, everyone is basically a prisoner. Wow.

WSB

Yes!!!! THIS!!! Conditioning for the masses?

WSB

Yes, and Ridley Scott has made a couple of movies.

Wolf Moon

There was a bad date problem with the slug – whodathunk??? 😂

thank you for sharing your coming out experience.

Excellent! Thank you. I changed the slug settings in the copy tool to not copy, IIRC, with the intent that the new slug would get picked up from the title, and it looks like that is working!

Gudthots

This is everywhere.
School bonds so large they will never be paid off.

Mitch Vexler: “Real Estate Taxes Have Become a Ponzi Scheme of Biblical Proportions”
Local taxing authorities have overdone it. Not content with merely feathering their own nests, they have done so fraudulently and deceitfully in open violation of both strict legal rules as well as moral boundaries.

What if I told you that property taxes are, in every location studied so far, conducted fraudulently and operate indistinguishably from a massive Ponzi scheme?

Sound hyperbolic?

It’s not. In today’s podcast with Mitch Vexler, he outlines in crisp detail how the appraisal process violates the laws it is governed by, and uses simple math to illustrate that there’s no possible way for the school bonds of many locations to ever be paid back.

Consider this table he’s put together for a selection of school districts in Texas. Just from the top row, we can see that the poor residents of Aledo, consisting of just 1785 households, are on the hook for $367 million in bonds.

Since the local taxpayers are on the hook for these bonds, and since there are only 1785 households, that means each household, on average, is responsible for paying off a $205,859.00 loan on top of whatever mortgage they might hold. This might as well be a 100% equity strip that happened while nobody was looking.

If paid back in a reasonable 40-year payback period, this would be equivalent to an additional monthly payment of $1,205.00. But we know two things. First, the bonds will not be paid back but ‘rolled’ into a larger package, and second, the school district will need to borrow more over the next 40 years because they will need new school buildings and such.

That’s a Ponzi scheme right there. Borrowing more and more to pay off the prior borrowings, using deceit and fraud to secure the funds.

Nobody has any intention of paying any of this money back. It is the biggest ticking financial time bomb on American soil. And it’s happening everywhere that Mitch has looked so far.

cthulhu

This may be true or it may not be, but their data does not support their conclusions.

The city of Aledo, TX, may garner property taxes from their 1785 households…..plus the city’s 183 pumping oil wells, their 682,000 acres of farmland, their manufacturing plants, their warehouses, etc. The property taxes may be plenty to support the given level of school bonds…..or might be completely insufficient. A nose count of households isn’t enough data to know.

This ^^^^.

Generally, states are ultimately responsible for what the counties do and would be involved from a legal and financial perspective prior to issuance. It creates a potential taxing pass through to state residents/taxpayers.

Gudthots

Thank you for that.
Did you look at the tables in the article?

cthulhu

I did now.

Measuring property tax against people is meaningless. Some places have much more property than people.

Gudthots

So properties that are not single family homes are taxed for schools? None of this seems fair.

cthulhu

Ah, now we get to the nub….

Government isn’t free. What actions should be taxed to fund what government?

It seems logical to have taxes on transportation fuels pay for transportation infrastructure and maintenance. It seems logical for property taxes to pay for zoning, building permits, recording of deeds, fire protection, and the like.

Who pays for police? Who pays for schools?

Gudthots

Somehow governments siphon off all kinds of cash for things people would not be happy to pay for, but then they claim they need more money (cause they spent it) and it’s always police and schools that are short.

WSB

Police, everyone. Schools? School-aged children’s parents. IMHO.

cthulhu

What tax taxes everyone? Poll taxes are illegal.

WSB

Why we have school taxes in the first place is beyond me. I thought our Fed Gov income taxes or tariffs paid for 1-12.

So, why am I paying another school tax on my property’s assessment?

cthulhu

If you read Article I, Section 8 of our glorious Constitution, there is nothing about education in there at all. It is not an enumerated power of the Federal government, and the Feds should have nothing to do with it.

WSB

So, if I am guaranteed a Republican Constitutional form of government, should my local gub and state tax me for same?

cthulhu

Teachers’ Unions have managed to add a state responsibility to many of states’ Constitutions. Other places have more local school boards to manage education. In both cases, taxes and fees would be levied at the non-Federal level to pay for schools.

WSB

Good Lord, yes. We have an acquaintance who ‘obtained’ a seat on a local school board after retiring from the DOD. As messed up as it gets.

WSB

Does it make sense? The landlord is passing a convenience on to a group of people who are not individual property owners.

WSB

I believe that is the feature!

WSB

Do not get me started on single family homes WITHOUT students in any school!!!1

Greater Good be damned!

Gudthots

I think the problem is that public schools used to be considered a public good. A literate population benefitting all.

But now it not only fails at this, but it’s not even a good babysitter. We are at the point where parents no longer factor in the necessity of training their own children and providing for oversight until they are able to handle themselves on their own.

As Gail would point out, having both parents working was part of a plan to wreck family life, economics, and more.

WSB

Yes, indeed!

WSB

I have been so screwed for so long. PT went from 2K per year… to now, 11K per year. Over 22 years. No additional services or road rebuilding. No sidewalks as promised in 2007.

PS Property is 5K, School is about 6K.

Neat trick. We have a cap of 2% of value, so they just raise the value every year.

WHEN DOES THIS ALL STOP?!!!!!

The vast majority of the increase is due to the COVID-19 “vaccines” that people had put / have put, into their bodies.
These “vaccines” were lab-designed to be literal “ticking time bombs” to the bodies and brains of the people who took them / take them.

Here’s the deal. The COVID-19 “vaccines”, once inside a person’s body —

One: the modRNA COVID-19 “vaccines” by Pfizer-BioNTech and by Moderna contain N1-methylpseudouridine. This lab-created compound replaces the RNA of the natural Uridine in the “vaccinated” person’s body. Natural Uridine, which lives in the intestines, is responsible for regulating or interacting with, multiple “gut-brain axis” mechanisms and functions (learning / memory / mood / stress reactions, etc.) N1-methylpseudouridine does NONE of these — instead, what is does is to function as a “facilitator” to kick open the entry into every cell in the body of the “vaccinated” person to the ingredients and mechanisms of the COVID-19 “vaccine.”

Two: the modRNA COVID-19 “vaccines” by Pfizer-BioNTech and by Moderna contain dangerous, lab-created lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) that work to rapidly spread the ingredients of these “vaccines” throughout the entirety of the “vaccinated” person’s body, including crossing the Blood-Brain Barrier. In particular, these “vaccines” can then target areas of the brain that the BBB does not protect — such as the pituitary gland and the pineal gland, both of which are immensely important to proper brain function.
Also, the COVID-19 “vaccines” target the Central Nervous System and the cerebrospinal fluid. This means that the CNS can be damaged and that CNS-related medical conditions can be induced, or previously-diagnosed CNS conditions can be worsened (for example, Multiple Sclerosis.)
The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 “vaccines” have the lipid nanoparticles ALC-0159 and ALC-0315. The Moderna COVID-19 “vaccines” have the lipid nanoparticle SM-102.

Three: the modRNA COVID-19 “vaccines” by Pfizer-BioNTech contain a piece of the SV40 African Green Monkey cancer promoter gene code.

Four: the modRNA COVID-19 “vaccines” change the DNA of the LINE1 human liver cell line.

The above are only a FEW of the things that the COVID-19 “vaccines” do to the body and brain of the person who took them / takes them. All of the above have now been proven in multiple peer-reviewed scientific papers. All have been written extensively about by Yours Truly on the board here in opener posts and Special Edition posts.

What’s going on regarding the increasing numbers of disabilities is due, in part, because SINCE THE ROLLOUT OF THE COVID-19 “VACCINES”, THE “DOWN-STREAM EFFECTS” OF THESE “VACCINES” ARE STARTING TO SHOW UP IN PERSONS WHO TOOK THESE INJECTABLES FROM 2021 ONWARD.

The COVID-19 “vaccines” were lab-designed and lab-created to EITHER damage or kill the person who takes them relatively quickly (within 1-2 years after getting them); OR, to damage or kill the person from accumulated / incremental damage to the “vaccinated” person’s body, which may not show up until several years AFTER “vaccination”, and which, by that time, the “fingerprints” of the COVID-19 “vaccines” in their bodies from several years prior WILL NOT BE “TRACEABLE.”

Yours Truly’s opinion: ALL COVID-19 “VACCINES” MUST BE TAKEN OFF THE MARKET IN THE UNITED STATES. NOW.

PAVACA

Gudthots
There are various spike detox / anti-spike protocols out there, like the one from Dr. Peter McCullough; and the ones from https://imahealth.org (formerly FLCCC.)
What’s important for non-COVID-19 “vaccinated” persons to recognize, are:

One: Spike protein shedding from COVID-19 “vaccinated” people onto other people (including non-COVID-19 “vaccinated” people) is now a known medical phenomenon. https://www.midwesterndoctor.com/ has written extensively on the subject. Yours Truly has written about this subject for the board here. Pfizer-BioNTech knew, back in 2020 when the company was running the initial C4591001 clinical study on BNT162b2, that the spike protein would shed. That’s why they required male study subjects to agree to not engage in sex for at least 28 days after being injected with BNT162b2.

Two: IMO, all non-COVID-19 “vaccinated” people need to be taking the following every day to help support their natural immune system:
2000mg Vitamin C
2000IU Vitamin D
B-complex vitamin
250mg Quercetin
25mg Zinc
1 cup of green tea (or the equivalent in EGCG)
600mg Turmeric
(weight in pounds appropriate dose of IVM)
get out into the sunshine for awhile, if possible
reduce / eliminate stress
walking / weight-bearing exercise, etc., as appropriate

The COVID-19 “vaccines”, IMO, were designed to shed spike protein. The saRNA COVID-19 “vaccines” being tested now will only increase this shedding phenomenon.

Last edited 17 days ago by PAVACA
Gudthots

The special form of NAC which has been studied for it’s ability to break down spike more effectively is interesting to me.

Also, the report from a doctor claiming that the pineal gland is missing in some cases (presumably due to spike pathology) was something new to me.

SAMPLE MESSAGE
Issue: Taxes and Revenue
================================
Gov Abbott,
Add Eliminate Property Tax to the Special Session today.

Recently, you said, “We slashed your property taxes. But for many Texans, those cuts were wiped out by local taxing authorities that hiked property tax rates even MORE. That must end.”

And this Session, what was done to change that? Nothing.

Eliminate Property Tax Bills: HB 960, 1485, 2194, 2220
================================
No Relief. No Reform. #EliminatePropertyTax

Gudthots

I didn’t know that.

Happy go lucky

Where I live property tax is not the same thing as real estate tax. Is that not the same way in other states?

cthulhu

In California, there is real estate property tax, vehicle property tax, and business property tax (and perhaps others). Individuals are not generally taxed on personal non-business property.

Gudthots

I think Texas taxes personal non-business property.

cthulhu

I doubt it, because it would be such a headache to administer. They’d have to count everyone’s X-boxes, televisions, cellphones, furniture, artworks, knickknacks, etc. In order to tax it.

Texas did, however, manage to seriously piss me off one time when taxing business property. In most jurisdictions, you fill out a form declaring your property as of a specific “assessment date”. In California, this is form 571-L and the assessment date is January 1. But there is nothing that says that date has to be the same in every state…..

So Texas had a trade show (which our company attended) that was on their assessment date, and sent a notice to all the exhibitors to declare their booths and demonstration units to be taxed. Mind you, we had our stuff in the state for three lousy days…..and also had it in California on January 1, so it got taxed twice.

Gudthots

It looks like I was wrong. But my information was from decades ago. Seems like there are even some real estate property tax breaks for seniors.

But here’s another candidate.

para59r

Curtis Sliwa is the perfect candidate, but for he doesn’t have the votes. Adams has the votes and he’d be acceptable. Because Adams has the votes it’s not likely he’s going to drop out. If both stay in the race it almost ensures the Muslim grifter gets elected. The smart thing to do is for Adams to offer Sliwa a position in NYC’s government and for Sliwa to accept such and then drop from the race.

Wolf Moon

Agreed. There is the potential for much good in this solution.

A comment from the Phiippines:

Trivia: July 4 is also the Philippines’ true Independence Day, when the US gave us our freedom on July 4, 1946.

Our country commemorates this day as Philippine-American Friendship Day, while our Independence Day is June 12, celebrating the day in 1896 when we fought against Spain after being their colony for over 300 years. (Although what really happened was Spain sold us to America in the Treaty of Paris since they could no longer afford to keep us, but that’s another story.)

History aside, though, to this day the Philippines is among the most Westernized countries in Asia, and a significant portion of our culture (and even our language) makes its way to my country usually months or even years after the West. That’s part of why I frequent this forum; so I can see what’s coming to my country in advance.

Anyway, enough rambling. Happy Independence Day America! Keep up the fight for your freedom! From the rest of the freedom-loving world, we salute you!

A judge finally obeys a SCOTUS order…

BREAKING UPDATE: Biden Judge Denies Emergency Motion So the 8 Illegals Deported by Trump will be Flown From Djibouti to South Sudan TONIGHT

As reported earlier, just hours after the Supreme Court issued a ruling, a federal judge temporarily blocked the Trump Administration from transferring the 8 illegal aliens stuck in Djibouti to South Sudan.

Judge Randolph Moss, an Obama appointee, held an emergency hearing earlier Friday before a flight scheduled for 7 pm departed Djibouti to transfer the illegals to South Sudan.

Some of the aliens are from Laos, Vietnam, and Cuba, so sending them to South Sudan puts them in danger, attorneys argued.

Update: Judge Brian Murphy, a Biden appointee, denied the emergency motion filed by the plaintiffs’ attorneys so the 8 illegal aliens stuck in Djibouti will be flown to South Sudan tonight at 7 pm ET.

EACH DAY WE TAKE UP THE OFFENSIVE WEAPON OF THE WORD OF GOD – THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT – ONE VERSE OPENS THE DOOR TO THE CONTEXT OF THE CHAPTER MESSAGE

Verse of the Day for Saturday, July 5, 2025

“And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”

Luke 18:27 (KJV)

COMMENTARY FOR LUKE 18

“The parable of the importunate widow. (1-8) The Pharisee and the publican. (9-14) Children brought to Christ. (15-17) The ruler hindered by his riches. (18-30) Christ foreshows his death. (31-34) A blind man restored to sight.” (35-43)

(18-30) “Many have a great deal in them very commendable, yet perish for lack of some one thing; so this ruler could not bear Christ’s terms, which would part between him and his estate. Many who are loth to leave Christ, yet do leave him. After a long struggle between their convictions and their corruptions, their corruptions carry the day. They are very sorry that they cannot serve both; but if one must be quitted, it shall be their God, not their wordly gain. Their boasted obedience will be found mere outside show; the love of the world in some form or other lies at the root. Men are apt to speak too much of what they have left and lost, of what they have done and suffered for Christ, as Peter did. But we should rather be ashamed that there has been any regret or difficulty in doing it.”

Commentary by Matthew Henry, 1710.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Good morning, C&C, it’s Saturday! Time for the Weekend Edition roundup: more Big Beautiful Bill goodness and folks start to unpack what it really means; first up—the federal government sheds costs to states that can pay for their own citizens’ welfare if they want to; OBBBA’s massive assault on the Ivy League is good news for taxpayers and gullible students; green energy falls onto the Big Bill’s chopping block, and the political ramifications are wonderfully encouraging; liberal judges find workarounds to evade SCOTUS’s national injunctions decision; the slow roast of Fed Chair Jerome Powell has begun, and the clock is ticking; and the Times hangs out a limited admission that Democrats lied about the Venezuelan gangs taking over Colorado apartment buildings.

I just read this story from a British man, and his “historical perspective” on America’s Independence Day. I won’t link it; it was too historically illiterate and stupid.

He went on about how the Revolution was only a few “elitists” and that most colonists supported British rule. And the poor Native Americans didn’t want it to end. About how the tax on tea actually “lowered” the price of tea. How France only supported the Colonies to take advantage, and because they hated Britain.

Somebody stop the Marquis de Lafayette before he spins completely out of his grave.

I have enough patriot ancestors, and have studied the “average” Colonist fighting in the Revolution sufficiently to know this is 100% horseshit.

MOST of my ancestors who fought didn’t have money or influence of any kind. They were just people. One of them was half Native American! Another was the thirteen-year-old son of a Tory mother who ran away from home to join the fight. He was wounded twice, and captured twice, escaped and fought on. One ancestor hated the British so much he fought again in the War of 1812 as a drummer in his late seventies. He didn’t even apply for the pension he was entitled to, though he could certainly have used the money. In another family, a father and all four of his sons, just farmers, went to war against the British. I could go on, but you get the idea.

So don’t presume to tell me that the American Revolution was just “elites” and well-off people who decided to take over the Colonies for themselves, you mis-educated British asshole. I know our history, and you are full of shit. Also, your former “empire” you are so proud of has been reduced to a little island overrun by islamists. In 100 years, “Great” Britain will be no more.

Unless, of course, you emulate people far superior to you, my ancestors, and rise up to take your country from your oppressors.

PAVACA

Way to go!
My late husband had ancestors who fought in the Revolutionary War. A couple of them survived. They weren’t “elites”, for sure — they were tradesmen.

IMO, unless British citizens wake up, Great Britain will be a memory in far fewer than 100 years.

Aubergine

🙂

All of mine, that I’ve found so far anyway, survived the War.

Sometimes we forget that not all of the Colonists who rebelled were fighters. It was pointed out to me that even if you served on a jury during the War, which many did, it was considered treason against the British government. You could be hanged.

Our ancestors were BRAVE.

pgroup2

I’m pretty sure the price of tea was artificially lowered so it would be cheaper than the competition, even with the tax. Similar to today’s govt subsidies to buy EVs.

Happy go lucky

That is awesome, 🍑 I need a cigarette now 😉

SPECIAL ARE YOU

God made each of us unique and solely
Like He – He wanted us to be holy
He gave each of us both gifts and talents
All are designed to keep us in balance

No two are similar or even the same
Nor were we endowed from whence we came
As we grow through our talents we thrive
And we know through grace our gifts come alive

Have you any idea how special you are
More amazing than you believe by far
What would happen if you missed just one day
Who would fill in the blank and pave the way

No matter what others might say or think
No one can replace you if you should blink
God placed you right where He wants you to be
Without hesitation from you or me

If you think of a structure less one block
Or a herd of sheep less one from the flock
Then you know how very special are you
How important it is to do what you do

If you are a page in a chapter book
How will the story make sense or look
The missing link to this mystery
Well it could be you or it could be me

If you are wondering where you fit in
Just take a step back to where you have been
Consider where we would be without you
So Special are You to this Treehouse crew

THE SPECIAL PLACE

Weary of the world travails and troubles
With each day that passes the trial doubles
What must we do when life gets in the way
We go to our Special Place and we pray

The only peaceful place in His Presence
His Holy Word wherein lies His essence
To Him we come to refresh and renew
From the hardships that dost daily accrue

We trust in His love to see us through
What He has decreed and brought us to
We can do nothing aside from His care
Without Him we would be going nowhere

In the busyness of our daily routine
We have little time to stop and come clean
Our prayers are hurried and incomplete
Our growth in grace is oft bittersweet

We need to break free of the vicious trap
The enemy squeezes into the gap
Despite our armor and our daily prep
The enemy pursues at ev’ry step

He will not retreat til we demand it
By the power in us we command it
Greater is He that is within us than
He in the world who is lower than man

When life makes no sense we must retreat
When burdens are heavy and we are beat
There’s only one place where God can be found
It is that Special Place you keep around

Mike Lee Introduces Bill to Withdraw U.S. From NATO
https://thenewamerican.com/us/politics/congress/mike-lee-introduces-bill-to-withdraw-u-s-from-nato/

Robert Baker

I would think that if it were a bill it would have to be approved by both houses. I am under the impression that treaties are examples of foreign policy of the executive branch and do not need House participation. That is just reasoning from my 7th grade Civics course, so it may well be in error.

Gudthots

Senate “advise and consent” but it’s not required?

https://www.senate.gov/about/powers-procedures/treaties.htm

The United States Constitution provides that the president “shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two-thirds of the Senators present concur” (Article II, section 2). Treaties are binding agreements between nations and become part of international law. Treaties to which the United States is a party also have the force of federal legislation, forming part of what the Constitution calls ”the supreme Law of the Land.”

The Senate does not ratify treaties. Following consideration by the Committee on Foreign Relations, the Senate either approves or rejects a resolution of ratification. If the resolution passes, then ratification takes place when the instruments of ratification are formally exchanged between the United States and the foreign power(s).

The Senate has considered and approved for ratification all but a small number of treaties negotiated by the president and his representatives. In some cases, when Senate leadership believed a treaty lacked sufficient support for approval, the Senate simply did not vote on the treaty and it was eventually withdrawn by the president. Since pending treaties are not required to be resubmitted at the beginning of each new Congress, they may remain under consideration by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee for an extended period of time.

In recent decades, presidents have frequently entered the United States into international agreements without the advice and consent of the Senate. These are called “executive agreements.” Though not brought before the Senate for approval, executive agreements are still binding on the parties under international law.

found this in
https://www.nato.int/cps/en/natohq/declassified_162350.htm

Starting in 1948, secret talks began in the Pentagon among British, Canadian and American officials. These talks would eventually include other future Allies and would form the basis of the North Atlantic Treaty. American officials had to navigate carefully, as isolationist and unilateralist tendencies were strong within the Senate and among the population at large. However, 1948 saw momentous events in Europe, such as the Berlin Blockade and the communist coup in Czechoslovakia, which reshaped American views on the continent. On 4 April 1949, Secretary of State Dean Acheson signed the North Atlantic Treaty on behalf of the United States, formally wedding his country to the future of Europe. The Senate ratified the treaty on 21 July 1949 by a vote of 83-13. On 25 July 1949, President Truman and Secretary Acheson signed the Instrument of Accession, making the United States a founding member of NATO.

TheseTruths

https://www.politico.com/news/2024/11/08/trump-nato-congress-courts-00188426

(emphasis mine)

…In 2023, Sens. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) and Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) authored legislation requiring that any presidential decision to exit NATO must have either two-thirds Senate approval or be authorized through an act of Congress. Lawmakers passed the measure as part of the fiscal 2024 National Defense Authorization Act, which President Joe Biden signed into law.

Legal experts warn that Trump could try to sidestep Congress’s NATO guardrail, citing presidential authority over foreign policy — an approach he used before to bypass congressional restrictions on treaty withdrawal.

The law is “not airtight,” said Scott Anderson, a Brookings Institution scholar and senior editor of Lawfare who has argued for firmer restrictions on a president leaving NATO. What it does do, he said, is set up a direct constitutional conflict with Congress if a president does try to withdraw.

“This is not open and shut, this is about Congress telling you you can’t do this, and if you ignore Congress, you’re going to have to fight us in the courts over it,” Anderson said.

If Trump simply declared he was pulling out of the alliance, it’s unclear whether Congress would have the legal standing to sue him for ignoring the law, according to Curtis Bradley, the Allen M. Singer distinguished service professor at the University of Chicago Law School.

The Supreme Court has generally held that institutional conflicts between the branches are political questions best resolved through the political process rather than through judicial intervention.

“For the issue to be litigated, there would need to be someone with standing to sue,” Bradley said in an email. “The only party I can think of who might have standing would be Congress itself, but it is not clear that the Republicans in Congress (who will at least control the Senate) would support such a suit.”

Anderson said lawmakers should strengthen the law by adding language explicitly authorizing litigation, which would improve Congress’ chances of establishing standing in court…

MTG to introduce to bill to prohibit releasing anything in the air for the purpose of altering weather, climate, temperature or sunlight.
FTA
Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene is introducing a bill that “prohibits the injection, release, or dispersion of chemicals or substances into the atmosphere for the express purpose of altering weather, temperature, climate, or sunlight intensity.”
Attempts to block sunlight intensity have been in the news recently with multiple governments, particular the U.K. and U.S. governments, seriously exploring flooding the atmosphere with particles to block the sun. This is ludicrous prima facie, but as we’ve learned in recent years there is nothing too ludicrous for climate change cultists to try.
Greene is modeling her bill after Florida Senate Bill 56.
“We must end the dangerous and deadly practice of weather modification and geoengineering,” she said.

Thank you.
One hopes that this bill is signed into law.
MTG needs to also make sure that the Defense Department is prohibited from spraying chemicals into the air.
One can testify that starting yesterday afternoon, there was the sound of those small planes in the air that do the chemtrail spraying around the Raleigh-Durham area. This is continuing today.
Per AccuWeather, the Air Quality in the area is now “Poor” and it’s due to “Fine Particulate Matter” in the air. A decided “metallic smell” is also in the air. The skies are filled with dispersed chemtrials elements that look like those “weird not-clouds.”

As one of those tweets (hope they all show up, one should have three tweets in it) points out we’ve been having a very wet Texas this year. No doubt to fill revisors and grow crops. But I think they may of gotten carried away with their rain project.

There should be law suits.

I hope there will be lawsuits so there will be discovery and we can get to the truth. These kinds of events do happen periodically, and I read that it has happened before in this same area. Not everything is a conspiracy theory. At the same time, if people are trying to make it rain more and have exacerbated this situation, resulting in injury and death, we need to know and put a stop to it. I am against man tampering with the atmosphere and the weather because of the enormous potential for screwups and ill intent.

Quote from article (thanks barkerjim):

For now, I propose that each one think his own thoughts about why slavery was being opposed and ultimately eliminated by the world’s upcoming superpower, at the same time radicals in Europe were dreaming up a new order of slavery [Marxism] and fanning the flames of “revolution” to open windows for it.

The important point for me, on our national Independence Day, is that adhering to the principles of liberty for and among free men and women will never go out of style. It will never be superfluous to refresh our understanding of why we do it, or renew our commitment. The world is always lying in wait to enslave, again, as many as it can.

In New York City in 2025, the “mainstream” Democratic Party is apparently about to run a coercive collectivist, Zohran Mamdani, as its candidate for mayor. Mamdani has spoken, literally and unapologetically, of obtaining privately-owned residential property in order to do away with private ownership and turn the structures in question into socialized public housing. This was a key measure for the communists who took over Russia in the 1917 revolution.

Mamdani hasn’t acknowledged that the city can’t possibly buy up all the properties he has his eye on at market value. But if he implemented this scheme, he’d do it by driving property owners out through weaponizing government against them. The owners won’t be billionaires with the priciest real estate. It’s quite probable that nothing will happen to the top billionaires. Rather, the targets are the middle class, who can’t defend themselves against having their hard-earned 800 or 2,000 square feet in the city hijacked out from under them.

Building the dependent class of residents who would inhabit such socialized housing is about creating a new set of slaves. Gradually, everyone who can’t escape would be sucked into it. So in 2025, we are 162 years on from Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation, and one of the two major political parties from 1863 is running a candidate who wants to bring back slavery: of everyone in NYC to collectivist agencies that would control how people are to live, as restrictively and arbitrarily as ever under previous methods of slavery.

It matters, and matters very much, whether we are paying attention to the purpose, benefits, and preservation of liberty. There is always a fresh attack coming against it.

THREAD: The media lied. Trump just detonated the welfare state—and they didn’t even notice until it was too late.

Let’s break down what the OBBBA really did.👇
1/14
The NYT headline? “States Brace for Added Burdens of Trump’s Tax and Spending Law.”

Translation: Fake. It’s not a tax-and-spend bill. It’s the largest rollback of federal transfer payments in 60 years.
2/14
States like Arizona are panicking. Gov. Hobbs admits even if she cut every program, she still couldn’t backfill the lost federal funds.

The era of Washington paying and states spending is over.
3/14
OBBBA pushes the blame downstream. Trump cut the hose. Governors now hold the empty bucket. They’ll have to raise taxes or cut programs—and own the fallout.
4/14
Medicaid, SNAP, and Obamacare subsidies were gutted. No more blank checks. Governors must enforce new rules themselves or lose funding.
5/14
And that’s not all—Trump went after the real golden calves:

– Ivy League endowments
– DEI bureaucracies
– Worthless woke degrees
– Student loan bailouts
6/14
Harvard has $50B in its endowment. OBBBA says: if you want to be a hedge fund, you get taxed like one.

Elite schools are howling—not for poor kids, but for their 6-figure DEI jobs.
7/14
Student loan limits are now capped. Fewer guarantees for worthless degrees = lower tuition, more efficiency, and less taxpayer fraud.

Colleges have to earn their bloated fees now.
8/14
Then came the energy cuts.

The bill gutted green subsidies: no more endless tax breaks for EVs and solar startups moonlighting as progressive PACs.
9/14
Add in the defunding of Planned Parenthood, and you’ve got a clean kill shot on the Left’s entire funding model.

This wasn’t just about money—it was about power.
10/14
The media missed it all. Why?

Because they were too busy celebrating fake GOP infighting. Turns out the conflict was scripted.

The real action was underground.
11/14
The House Freedom Caucus played rope-a-dope. The bill passed with surgical precision—while MSNBC was still counting “Republican defections.”

Classic 3D chess.
12/14
This wasn’t a budget bill.

It was a coordinated defunding operation. And it just crippled the progressive machine ahead of 2026.

The Feds aren’t supposed to control land beyond military bases and post offices. National parks, forests, and monuments should be turned over to states.

I disagree. States like California would close the parks for “the wildlife.”

I want public lands to be kept for all of us to love and enjoy.

cthulhu

You don’t think Montana could utilize Federal land better than the Feds?

And, yes, California is a special case. Had it not been shielded from its own idiocy by the Feds, it would have already collapsed……and been forced into a bankruptcy where it would have to sell off its “wildlife parks”.

And, BTW, potentially forced to revert to a Territory.

States, including Montana, sway faster on issues than the Federal government. We had Demoncrat governors from 2005 to 2020, and the second one particularly sucked on issues like this.

On their website I see a tally of 673 gooogle reviews and it looks like a 5 star average rating. https://allfamilypharmacy.com/

About Us

All Family Pharmacy LLC is a family owned and operated pharmacy located in Boca Raton Florida. We have been in business for over 5 years. We work with doctors all over the country to help get access to medications normal pharmacies don’t or are unwilling to dispense including but not limited to Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine. All orders include a Prescription from our Licensed Doctors.

Yelp has 5 reviews with 5 stars and 2 reviews that seem to be disgruntled customers (but you never know on yelp if those negative reviews are people trying to extort money out of the business). https://www.yelp.com/biz/all-family-pharmacy-boca-raton

It’s interesting that they are also providing capsules of methylene blue and NAD.

Gudthots

I’ve seen that India prices are lower than U.S. prices via pharmacy.

Here’s a US based site that sells 50 x 12 mg ivermectin tablets for $70:
https://www.virex.health/PetMectin

Gudthots

True. I have noticed that these days, they use a lot of human drugs in pets. And I’m not sure they are all that great for humans or pets!

Gudthots

For comparison, I’ve read of good results ordering from this pharmacy online and their price for 100 tablets is $100.
https://www.alldaychemist.com/ivermectin-12mg-austro.html

TheseTruths

I have ordered from here before. I haven’t compared prices lately.

https://ivermectin.com/

All USA pharmacies do not sell USA-made Ivermectin or HCQ or Zpack, their supplies all come from China, and they are only compounded at their USA pharmacy. Do not be deceived! Chinese stock should be avoided at all costs! Our products are 100% custom-made for us, the purest possible, and highly vetted with top quality control. Our supplies are custom-made for us in India exclusively. Zero Chinese materials with us whatsoever!

You have to click the Order tab at the top, then choose the USA orders link, to see what all is available. They do have HCQ.

Near the bottom of the pop-down window, on the far left hand side, there will be a button that says “Transcript”. Click that button.

If Mark is correct, and if I understood correctly, once the tax is removed (90 days from now?), the lawsuits will be filed immediately to remove suppressors and short barreled rifles from the NFA, and the DoJ is expected to support that action.

If anyone tries to fight it in court, they will lose, because the only reason it wasn’t unlawful in the first place is because the Constitution authorized levying a tax.

Once the tax is eliminated, there is no Constitutional precondition for SBRs and suppressors to be included in the NFA.

They have already been declared by judicial precedent as firearms, which means they are covered by the 2nd Amendment, and without any associated tax, there is no reason for them to be covered by the NFA.

If I remember correctly, Mark said a ‘registry’ is a definite ‘no go’ zone for items which are not covered by the NFA in the first place and have no associated tax.

And if there is no longer any reason for the prior registry to exist, it should fall under the established Doctrine of Shitcanicus 👍

Or is it Shiticus Canus?

My post Independence Day greetings!

We laid low yesterday, seeing everything on the internet and CYA black box for music and fireworks. Was terrific! I made hamburger and hot dog sliders!

Today, Taller Half checks the porch, and lo and behold, a package had arrived from a place named Uniuni, Queens, NY.

It has black corners on it and looks as though taped in orange packing tape by a four-year old (not knocking four-year olds).

I have no idea. TH goes for a steak knife to open the box. I quickly interject with a box cutter, recognizing that, no matter what, the cardboard looks Chinese. If anyone knows, HK/CCP cardboard is a bad knock-off of our own thinner type.

It smells like diesel fuel. I open the thing up, and there lies another box. Commercial packaging of a Model of a B2-A Bomber.

I had mentioned after we caught the clip of them flying over NJ airspace after the hit, that I wanted one. I happened to say, “Rather than a new car, I would MUCH rather have a B2 or the new B21.”

This model. Made in China! It smells worse than the outside packaging and is just sitting there. Box is approximately 6 1/2″ x 11 3/4″ x 1 3/4″. 1:200 scale for ages 14 and up. Everything else is in Chinese.

TH went for a nap after I thanked him profusely for thinking of me. I do not even know if this needs assembly or painting! Have not opened it incase there is anything bad in there. TH does not exactly know where he ordered it from.

What to do? Will copy Sylvia’s spot, in case there might be meal ideas!!!!!

Excellent story!

I don’t trust cheap CCP plastic (CCP = “Cheap Chinese Plastic”)

The Dear Wife has a cheap plastic CCP tool box from the distant past, before marriage. The cheap plastic ALWAYS stunk terribly. Certain it was made during Great Leap Forward or similar Mao-era event.

I assumed that the CCP would eventually stop stinking. WRONG. The stench is far more durable than any CCP tool or product, and will surely outlive us. Incredible!

WSB

Ha!!! I may just try to return this but there is no receipt in the box. Hmmm.

Yes, memories of working in HK. Diesel fuel wafts everywhere. Also in Egypt.

I ordered lingerie bags about two years ago. Had to wash them twice before getting the diesel out of them and now they are shredding!

The 25 Deadliest Battles of the Revolutionary War
comment image

“Name calling, fearing mongering and demonizing the enemy were all on the propaganda menu during the American Revolution. Once hostilities commenced, another game played a significant role in the war for mind control. A game of numbers.

Simply inflating the size of your enemy’s forces on paper and deflating your own helped to magnify victory or downplay defeat. And in the case of reporting casualties, reducing your own estimates and increasing your enemies had a similar result. Examples are widespread.

By the end of September 1776, in London and throughout Europe, many people knew that 3,500 American rebels were killed at the Battle of Long Island with more than 1,000 taken prisoner. The British press were busy printing official and unofficial accounts that were fresh off the ships from New York. In his report to Lord George Germain, General William Howe claimed “their loss is computed to be about 3,300 killed, wounded, prisoners, and drowned.” However, actual figures are closer to 1000 prisoners and about 200 killed or wounded.[i]

On the morning of September 16, 1780, New Englanders reading the Providence Gazette knew that 3,000 American men were led by Major General Horatio Gates into a bloody battle against General Charles Cornwallis, who commanded a superior British force of 4,200 regulars and “refugees.” While the precise strength of the American army at the Battle of Camden remains unknown today, the best estimate is 4,100. And Cornwallis’s numbers were closer to 2,200; far from superior on that South Carolina battlefield.[ii]

In early 1781, Major General Nathanael Greene eagerly opened Brigadier General Daniel Morgan’s after-action report about the Battle of Cowpens and read that Morgan fought with only 800 men. But his force numbered at least 1,500.[iii]

Following the Battle of Guilford Courthouse, Cornwallis reported that Greene’s army “exceeded 7000 men” when it likely numbered in the 4,000 to 4,400 range. Greene’s adjunct general Otho H. Williams compiled a list of American casualties at Guilford Courthouse that fell short by about 20 percent.[iv]

In a slight twist on the numbers game, early on February 25, 1777, readers of the London Chronicle discovered that many of George Washington’s 10,000 men were deserting after the Battle of Trenton. Washington actually had about 5,000 men but had spies feeding the British the much higher figure.[v]

Thanks to the numbers game, it can be difficult for modern historians to accurately account for battlefield forces and casualties. One of the most comprehensive sources of casualty figures is Howard Peckham’s The Toll of Independence (The University of Chicago Press, 1974). Despite its age and shortage of British totals, historians still often point to this volume for American loss data.

Based on records for 1,331 military and 218 naval engagements, Peckham concludes that 7,174 were killed and 8,241 were wounded during the eight-year war.[vi]

Beyond these summaries, Peckham’s book is loaded with figures that would make any statistician drool and, of course, many historians debate. With such a resource at my fingertips, I thought it would be interesting to list the Revolutionary War’s 25 deadliest battles, looking at engagements both on land and at sea. After all, the Revolutionary War is second only to the Civil War in deaths relative to population.[vii]

This list is based exclusively on Peckham’s figures of Americans killed and wounded, which are totaled in (parentheses) and sorted in order of most killed and wounded to least. Then, for perspective, I included British killed and wounded totals from multiple sources, which are in {braces} and cited to their respective sources.

1) Battle of Camden, August 16, 1780 (1050 Americans killed and wounded) {314 British killed and wounded[viii]}
British forces routed American forces.

2) Battle of Germantown, October 4, 1777 (652) {519[ix]}
Washington’s 11,000 troops in divided columns did not proceed uniformly; general retreat.

3) Battle of Brandywine, September 11, 1777 (600) {581[x]}
All day battle that ended in American retreat.

4) Battle of Eutaw Springs, September 8, 1781 (513) {382[xi]}
About 2,200 Continentals and militia attacked camp of 2,000 British regulars and Loyalists.

5) Siege of Savannah, September 16-October 20, 1779 (457) {103[xii]}
Franco-American besieging forces launched failed attack on British fortification.

6) Battle of Bunker Hill, June 17, 1775 (411) {1054[xiii]}
British overrun American fortifications.

7) Battle of Flamborough Head, September 23, 1779 (302) {117[xiv]}
John Paul Jones’s famous naval battle.

8) USS Randolph vs HMS Yarmouth, March 6, 1778 (301) {16[xv]}
Randolph and four ships engage Yarmouth. Randolph blew up, killing all but four of its crew.

9) Battle of Paoli, September 20, 1777 (300) {11[xvi]}
British surprise attack at night.

10) Battle of Freeman’s Farm, September 19, 1777 (280) {600[xvii]}
Burgoyne moved on Gates’s fortified position and met hot resistance.

11) Battle of Monmouth, June 28, 1778 (267) {295[xviii]}
Washington’s advance division caught up with enemy, retreating American troops reformed.

12) Battle of Waxhaws, May 29, 1780 (263) {17[xix]}
Banastre Tarleton’s Legion attacks Continental infantry and cavalry; surrender gone wrong.

13) Battle of Guilford Courthouse, March 15, 1781 (261) {506[xx]}
Cornwallis held battlefield, but lost a third of his army.

14) Battle of Wyoming, July 3, 1778 (227) {11[xxi]}
American forces leave Forty Fort to attack invading force; close combat with Indian raiders.

15) Siege of Charleston, March 29-May 12, 1780 (227) {265[xxii]}
Benjamin Lincoln surrendered town and forts after one-month siege.

16) Battle of Long Island, August 27, 1776 (200) {367[xxiii]}
Beginning of successful British campaign to capture New York.

17) Battle of Ramsour’s Mill, June 20, 1780 (170) {170[xxiv]}
Outnumbered Patriot militia defeat Loyalist militia.

18) Battle of Rhode Island, August 29, 1778 (167) {248[xxv]}
Franco-American forces laid siege to British in Newport, but abandoned siege.

19) Battle of Fort Washington, November 16, 1776 (154) {458[xxvi]}
American garrison of several thousand surrendered.

20) Battle of White Plains, October 28, 1776 (150) {229[xxvii]}
Howe’s troops drive Washington’s troops from high ground.

21) Battle of Forts Clinton and Montgomery, October 6, 1777 (150) {183[xxviii]}
British forces capture two American-held forts in highlands of Hudson River valley.

22) Battle of Brier Creek, March 3, 1779 (150) {16[xxix]}
Large Patriot force attacked by surprise.

23) Battle of Fishing Creek, August 18, 1780 (150) {16[xxx]}
Tarleton surprises Thomas Sumter’s militia company.

24) Battle of Oriskany, August 6, 1777 (147) {93[xxxi]}
Loyalists and Indians ambush 800 Patriot militia and Indians.

25) Battle of Stono Ferry, June 20, 1779 (147) {119[xxxii]}
Rear guard of retreating British expedition hold off assault by Patriot militia.

Of these 25 battles, only Ramsour’s Mill is considered a decisive American victory. The vast majority are decisive British victories with a handful of debated draws. Assuming these casualty figures are accurate, or close to it, this demonstrates that killed and wounded seldom have any bearing on the outcome of the battle.

Don’t see your favorite battle on the list? Here are a few more famous battles and how they stack up using Peckham’s American casualty numbers in (parentheses).

Battle of Groton Heights, September 6, 1781 (145)Battle of Bemis Heights, October 7, 1777 (130)Battle of Hobkirk’s Hill, April 25, 1781 (126)Battle of Lexington and Concord, April 19, 1775 (90)Battle of Kings Mountain, October 7, 1780 (90)Siege of Yorktown, September 28-October 19, 1781 (90)Battle of Cowpens, January 17, 1781 (72)Battle of Springfield, June 23, 1780 (64)Battle of Princeton, January 3, 1777 (43)Battle of Trenton, December 26, 1777 (12)Based on Peckham’s casualty figures:

Camden comprises nearly 37 percent of all the Americans killed and wounded during military engagements in 1780.Bunker Hill comprises 54 percent of all the Americans killed and wounded during military engagements in 1775.Germantown and Brandywine, combined, account for 35 percent of all Americans killed and wounded during military engagements in 1777.Interestingly, the 25 deadliest battles total 7,696 Americans killed and wounded, which accounts for 50 percent of all Americans killed and wounded during the entire eight-year war (using Peckham’s Americans killed/wounded war total of 15,415). That means that the other 50 percent, or 7,719 Americans, were killed and wounded during the remaining 1,524 military and naval engagements! So, the Revolutionary War’s 80-20 rule was closer to a 50-2 rule with nearly 50% of the American killed and wounded casualties occurring in 1.6 percent of the military and naval engagements.

Of course, this is all based on a numbers game and new casualty sources are regularly added and subtracted. As Peckham summarized, “If we cannot offer the final word on casualties of the American Revolution, we hope that we can at least elevate the discussion of those losses by the addition of figures that have heretofore been unknown or unavailable.”

EDITOR NOTE: To focus on the “deadliest battles,” casualties were limited to killed and wounded, but missing and captured could increase the totals or raise additional questions. As demonstrated in the introduction, war casualty figures during the Revolutionary War were often used as propaganda. Casualty data continues to be disputed and debated today. As such, we welcome all arguments against Peckham’s American casualty numbers to unfold in the comments below.”

We just watched Kelsey Grammer’s show on the battle of Brooklyn last night.

This was after the Battle of Bunker/Breed’s Hill where the Brits won but got ripped. Lee should have studied this one more during the civil war.

Washington’s troops held the high ground and made their troops look like the Battle of Jericho.

Gage and Howe sent frontal forces which killed many of their troops.

At the battle of Brooklyn, Washington made a well-thought but terrible decision according to many historians.

He split his troops, sending about 9,000 to Brooklyn. Howe came back with an armada and pinned Washington’s troops to the East River; but rather than front-charging. he laid back with a siege…because of the casualties at Bunker Hill!

With the Divine fog and Washington’s cunning sense, he retreated and escaped most of his 9K troops in boats across the East River. The Maryland troops sacrificed their own lives in the event early on in the Howe front running.

A rather momentous bit of history. Washington waged escaping every battle until he could have a solid victory.

It was more important to keep his army together than to win battles.

Whether this history is completely correct or not, who all knows.

But yes, in the NY Historical Society, there is an amazing diorama of the battle of Brooklyn.

It was a build up of the British navy. And they held off for months after their arrival.

WSB

Battle of Brooklyn was August 27, 1776.

Yet the Brits entered the East River of NY and held the port in July, near Staten Island.

Washington tried to defend NYC but he just did not have the strength of force to do so. His forces were in Manhattan and from there he split them to defend Brooklyn.

All an amazing dance.

WSB

ANd after the Brits overtook Manhattann and believed they would be home by Christmas.

Washing had to give up Manhattan, and scurry to NJ and then PA.

WSB

Yes. A Goliath moment.

Wolf Moon

It was more important to keep his army together than to win battles.

This is why strategy matters. Washington was a genius to see this possibility – to lose battles long enough to win a war.

WSB

Indeed, Wolf.

Which is why the Christmas Day night massacre against the Hessians was so important. December 25-26, 1776.

To take out a group of professional mercenaries was momentous!

WSB

Washington not only paid them himself but put a supposed traitor in pardon. Notice to all.

I’ve noticed an influx of AI X propaganda bots in my threads and the threads of others.

Basically, you comment on some current affairs subject, and an AI bot swoops in and engages in partisan propaganda that on the surface appears well-sourced but in reality is a bunch of misstated horse dung.

I fear that these bots are the early stage AI equivalent of the Wright Brothers’ first plane and that before long we will have vastly more sophisticated and pervasive 747 propaganda AI.

Notwithstanding the First Amendment, I believe we will be ultimately faced with laws requiring all AI content to bear some sort of label or watermark declaring it “AI.”

This NY Times article is precisely why hard-working Americans simply do not trust the media.

The article is a poorly thought out hit piece which attempts to address the dramatic personnel changes we’ve made, along with the enterprise-wide reorganization Director Patel and I have undertaken.

But the conclusion of the piece is so ridiculous that a child could debunk it. The authors comically assert that you are “less safe” because Kash and I have aggressively reformed the FBI. Yet, they produce NO evidence whatsoever to backup that claim. And the reason they don’t produced any evidence, is because the numbers tell the opposite story.

Here is just a small snippet of data points proving that the decision Director Patel and I made to refocus manpower towards fighting violent crime, and combatting terrorism, is working:

-Our violent crime initiative, dubbed “Summer Heat,” and other initiatives around the country have the murder rate trending to be the lowest in U.S. history by a longshot. Summer Heat is coming to a city or town near you soon as we assist your community in removing criminal predators from the streets.

-Our emphasis on violent crime has led to the arrests of 14,000 violent criminals. This is a 62% increase from the same time period last year.

-We rescued over one hundred children from being preyed on, while arresting over 825 violent child predators, and 140 human traffickers.

-Our agents locked up 51 foreign intelligence operatives for spying and smuggling dangerous substances into our country.

-In conjunction with our federal partners, we apprehended, imprisoned, and deported over 18,000 illegal aliens. Many of these illegal aliens had violent criminal histories. As a result, last month, again, ZERO illegals were admitted into our country. The same partners arrested nearly 800 rioters for attempting to stop enforcement operations.

-We seized 44,000 kilos of cocaine, 3,500 kilos of meth, and 1,210 kilos of fentanyl in just the last few months. This is a 22% increase from the same time period last year. In addition, we locked up one of the most dangerous gang leaders in the county, and we dismantled gang operations in nearly every corner of the country, including the largest TDA gang takedown ever.

-We locked up 3 of the “Top-Ten” most wanted FBI targets, and we’re closing in on another.

-I’d like to talk more about some of the incredible work being done by our counter-terror teams, but the information, as you would imagine, is classified. But I promise you, it’s happening.

-And, finally, we are closing in on more disclosures and fixing past wrongs to personnel. We’re making sure this is done correctly. But it’s absolutely getting done.

Notice how The NY Times omitted these data points to tell you “a story,” not the story. And, even though it’s an opinion piece, they should at least attempt to insert reality into it.

God bless America, and all those who defend Her. 🇺🇸

Actually, right now, Elon is about destroying our country by starting a splitter third party. He’s like a little kid who can’t have his way, so he’s going to ruin ALL the toys for everyone. Elon is a petulant man-child.

Wolf Moon

I think it will either fizzle or help Trump – or both! 😆

Gudthots

What do you mean?
Does “all about” mean he’s focused on it for good or what?

Wolf Moon

Good or bad is unknown to me. All I know is that the BBB triggered Musk into his current trajectory. Musk’s reaction to the BBB seems to be controlling his moves right now.

Where this goes and what it does is uncertain to me. BUT I tend to think that opposing “business as usual” on Capitol Hill is generally a good thing.

Trump doesn’t seem worried, so I’m not going to worry.

Gudthots

Ah, okay.
Nice to “see” you, hope your 4th was awesome!

Wolf Moon

It was! I ate too much, but I’m recovering even as we speak! 😂

para59r

More science day stuff and would love to see him get questioned by MTG but after all is said and done I’d love to hear him talk about various recent flood events and if not his company, then who’s?

para59r

Haven’t listened yet, but the guy above may have just undercutted Jones by talking about his cloud seeding company.

Alex Jones: Did Weaponized Weather Modification Cause the Historic Texas Hill Country Floods? [VIDEO]
. . . Weather Modification Evidence?

Also this has already been posted today by Pat and PAVACA, so reposting to put all these in one spot.

MTG Is Introducing a Bill to Curtail Weather Modification

para59r

And there’s this… means nothing but I’m sure they like having a face to hide behind. By that I mean over lapping what may be legit work with not legit work now and then to produce a catastrophic event. That’s why I want hear this guy get questioned about various recent flooding events from at least the time he went into operation since he seems to be at the very forefront of what appears to be a sanctioned activity that American’s have largely been kept in the dark about.

singingsoul1

Get him out of business. I do not need a clown seeding stuff that affects all of us.

TheseTruths

I hope he doesn’t bring back the mullet. 😂

Wolf Moon

LOL!!!

cthulhu

Oh, c’mon — business up front, party in the back!

kalbokalbs

Wonder how many inches of rain fell, in what I guess was a relatively short storm.

Four short videos.
1) the initial wall of water
2) 15 minutes after wall; Tree sucked under bridge
3) 25 minutes after wall; flood at bridge level
4) 30 minutes after wall; floating House hits bridge.

Celebration!

TheseTruths

I saw an interview where she was asked if she ever did the Trump dance, and she gave an emphatic “No!” as if to say it’s just not in her personality to do that. It’s nice to see her celebrating with him.

TheseTruths

I hope he’s wrong about it never getting better than this.

kalbokalbs

Winning WILL continue.

So it gets better, continuously.

Face it Powell, the Fed is all but d**d… AIR DOLLARS were NEVER sustainable!

Elon is establishing his third party. Doing so he will split MEGA movement the way
Ross P. did and Clinton became President. Elon is in camp with ,Massie and Rond Paul voted with the dems on the BBB. I lost my respect for them. It was Elon who could not handle the power he saw the WH and presidency has. He is the one who stabbed Trump in te back not once but twice.

Linda

Musk is going to find out that he’s not as popular as he thinks he is.

Wolf Moon

I’m not sure what’s gonna happen, but I’m not gonna panic. I’m still taking Trump’s advice – to not be a Panican! 😂

TheseTruths

^^^This. IMO Elon looks foolish. Trump’s approval numbers are at their highest, and now is the time to unite so we can have more wins, even if they are incremental ones that we have to build upon.

I’d like to know who the upstanding, honest, America-first Congresspeople are that he thinks he will get for his party. I suspect he will only get anti-Trump losers.

We’ll have to see what honest polling says, but I can’t imagine America-first, MAGA people jumping ship to go to a new political party when we’re in the midst of a huge winning streak with Trump. And if he’s doing this for the 2028 presidential election, he’ll have to pit his campaign skills against those that have made Trump successful. IMO it looks as if he’s throwing a tantrum.

Gudthots

I was reading some commentary today (maybe here! lol) that pointed out that the ones unsatisfied at this point are the black/white thinkers. And look where that kind of dogged stubbornness got Elon so far. There is a lot of miles still to go for Trump 2.0 and I’m guessing he will guide everyone to the best possible outcome.

Gudthots

Exactly.
That’s why Elon’s position seems suspiciously contrived.
He’s too smart to not understand this.

Wolf Moon

One thing Elon may be doing is jimmying the globalist calculus for the next COVID-level attack on freedom. The two-party system is brittle to certain attacks, particularly phony emergencies. There may be a good reason to do this.

Wolf Moon

I was almost thinking the same thing!

For being a long-haired, freaky-lookin’ beanstalk of a gay dude, Scott is a seriously solid guy with a clear understanding of reality.

‘Bout the worst thing you can say about him is that he looks just like a certain White House reporter who is dumb as a post.

kalbokalbs

I am staying a republican MAGA, America First – American.

Is there anyone *in America* thinking, “I’m definitely not going to vote MAGA now that the Infinite H-1B Party is an option.”

Raheem J. Kassam:

If Musk weaponizes X against MAGA, I’m leaving this account as an automated news feed and shifting to TruthSocial tbh.

singingsoul1

I am glad I never joined X. The site is to good to be true. Elon turned away from MEGA away from us and his spiteful nature is going to take over. He infiltrated our movement he used Trump’s hospitality and friendship and then turned on us. Is he a CIA asset? Just wondering. Something does not fit.

testing emoticons using colons – joy – :joy:

Wolf Moon

No :joy: – I’m wondering if wpDiscuz disabled the feature in the latest release.

Wolf Moon

Looks broken!

cthulhu

Look at the source and see if it’s commented out.

Wolf Moon

Can you try test typing :joy: and :flag-us: and see if those do anything in terms of pop-ups as you begin typing?

Gudthots

no pop up after typing a colon, which is different since I’ve seen those pop ups previously

Wolf Moon

Thank you! It’s fixed now! I reverted to a previous version of the “plug-in add-on” for emojis.

cthulhu

:joy: Fa-la-la-la-la….La-la….la….la.

:flag-us: Oh say does that star-spangled banner yet wave?

This is so inspiring!
