A bit on Finance & Economics
Gold & Silver have been on a bit of a rocket ride. I’ve been doing well, though a bit stressed over holding the position over the holiday market shutdowns. As a classic Short Squeeze, this WILL end badly… for someone. Hopefully not me 😉 Rumor is that several Name Banks decided to close out their short position which is why silver rapidly jumped from $60/oz to close over $72/oz. I think I bought in at about $50/oz.? as a rough average.
When will the short squeeze end? Don’t know. Several nations have shut off silver export, most notably China (who refines most of it). A few manufacturers have bought up all the physical they can (mostly solar panel makers that use a fair amount, and semiconductor makers like Samsung). COMEX has had a huge number of contracts not “roll over” but ask for physical at settlement – so the vaults are getting low. London Metals Exchange is rumored to be nearly out of metal and scrounging. We’ve used more than is mined each year for 5 years now…
Between a lot more demand by Gang Green Dreams, and inadequate supply, along with major players willing to work The Squeeze: I don’t see a quick end. There just isn’t the physical metal above ground to fill all the holes.
At some point, price will simply lock up the market. (It eventually becomes cheaper to NOT make solar panels and jewlery and electronics that will be sold at a loss due to the cost of the embedded silver…). I’m going to hold tight until mid January then evaluate again.
The USA economy is growing at over 4% (a lot of it medical care / expenses / insurance; but a lot not) while the UK & EU are shrinking and Russia is “off line” relative to The West. China is having ongoing deflation problems with continued real estate massive problems. Japan is doing OK, but with rising interest rates and a likely unwind of the Yen Carry Trade.
Overall, I continue to see the $US as “the best whore in the whore house” so not doing a lot to move into any other major currency (using Gold and Silver instead as an alternative store of value). So probably about a Break Even mix in real terms.
A Lot will hang on a few unknowns. Will Europe succeed in starting a Hot War with Russia? Will that then pull in the USA? How fast will the EU Economy collapse? (in progress now…). Will Right Wing Parties gain power in Europe? (They are leading in polls in many countries, but parliamentary maneuvers have been keeping them out of positions of authority). This will eventually change, but when?
So I’m just rigging for Rough Times and avoiding most risky things. The exception being riding the rocket ride in precious metals, and a few AI stocks. Yes, eventually it will crash, so get out on a 10%+ downturn, but don’t get off the rocket before the motor burns out 😉

The EU has decided to add more nails to their coffin. Promising to float a €90 Billion loan to Ukraine guaranteed by the EU Budget. To be repaid from non-existent “Russian Reparations” that will never exist as Russia is busy winning this war. So with no repayment possible, and with NO “maturity date” (‘when Russia loses’) just who would buy the bonds? Hmmm? WITH LUCK, nobody and the scheme will fail.
What it will do, IF any bonds are sold and money delivered: It will assure that the EU will fight tooth and nail to assure that the Ukraine War never ends in peace, since then no reparations will arrive and they will be on the hook for all the money. Perhaps that was the goal?…

Here Are Some New Trump Tax Breaks That Could Give Republicans an Advantage in the 2026 Midterm Elections
Several new tax breaks were signed into law this year by President Donald Trump that could help spark an economic boom, and with it, a Republican victory in the upcoming midterms.
These new rules were enacted through the “Big Beautiful Bill,” which the commander-in-chief heavily lobbied for, and will be available to people filing their taxes from 2026-2028.
First, Trump’s proposal of no tax on tips and overtime is sure to provide economic relief. The maximum deduction for tips is now $25,000, and the maximum deduction for overtime will be $12,500.
This will likely be very popular with middle-class earners. Nurses, trade workers, service industry employees, and others whose votes are crucial to Republican success will have more money in their pockets.
Another important voting bloc is seniors over 65, especially those who are in need of financial assistance. They are also set to benefit from the new deductions.
“Effective for 2025 through 2028, individuals who are age 65 and older may claim an additional deduction of $6,000,” the IRS website reads. “This new deduction is in addition to the current additional standard deduction for seniors under existing law.”

I’m seeing more truth-telling about Islam, at least in conservative quarters, and that’s encouraging. I hope it goes hand in hand with the realization about, and speaking up about, the mistreatment of white men. People are waking up. We need more!
In my opinion, the first step in getting people to “call out” Islam is to make them understand that it is not primarily a religion, but a system of political and governmental control. Secondarily, it is religious, but you can only be truly “subject” to the religion if you follow the legal tenets of it. And those tenets are anathema to Western Civilization.
I remember this video I saw years ago of a room full of “moderate” muslims, listening to a speaker. The speaker asked the crowd if they were “moderate.” They all raised their hands.
He then asked a series of questions of them, such as whether they believed in stoning adulterous women, killing “infidels,” and the like. Almost every hand in the room went up at every question you and I would reel from.
There is no such thing as a “moderate” muslim was the takeaway for me. Because the “religion” itself is immoderate.
YES. Muslims become “moderate” by ignoring Islam! 😂

I got to listen to his lecture for physics grad students at NCU here in NC.
Dr Happer stated that the time to radiate is about ten times slower than the time to the next collision in the troposphere. Dr Happer in his lecture also answered my question about where CO2 energy is radiated instead of being handed off via collision. Experimental data shows barely any radiation at 11 KM and that radiating is in the stratosphere ~ 47 KM above the surface. (This means it escapes into space and does not effect the cloud cover.)
The take away from his UNC lecture (9/2014) was the CO2 ‘modeling’ is a mish-mash of theoretical equations and experimentally derived data. Where the Climate Alarmists missed the boat is in using equations for ‘line broadening’ aka the ‘wings’ where the additional CO2 absorption ( at 400 ppm) is supposedly taking place. These equations produce results that do not match up to the experimental data. The lines are not as broad as theory would have it. This means you take the exponential curve Tony Heller showed a few days ago (CO2 Greenhouse Effect Is Very Small) and squash it even flatter at 400 ppm and above. This means the CO2 sensitivity is much smaller than calculated by the IPCC.

COMMENTARY FOR EPHESIANS 1
This epistle was written when St. Paul was a prisoner at Rome. The design appears to be to strengthen the Ephesians in the faith of Christ, and to give exalted views of the love of God, and of the dignity and excellence of Christ, fortifying their minds against the scandal of the cross. He shows that they were saved by grace, and that however wretched they once were, they now had equal privileges with the Jews. He encourages them to persevere in their Christian calling, and urges them to walk in a manner becoming their profession, faithfully discharging the general and common duties of religion, and the special duties of particular relations.A salutation, and an account of saving blessings, as prepared in God’s eternal election, as purchased by Christ’s blood. (1-8) And as conveyed in effectual calling: this is applied to the believing Jews, and to the believing Gentiles. (9-14) The apostle thanks God for their faith and love, and prays for the continuance of their knowledge and hope, with respect to the heavenly inheritance, and to God’s powerful working in them. (15-23)
(1,2.) All Christians must be saints; if they come not under that character on earth, they will never be saints in glory. Those are not saints, who are not faithful, believing in Christ, and true to the profession they make of relation to their Lord. By grace, understand the free and undeserved love and favour of God, and those graces of the Spirit which come from it; by peace, all other blessings, spiritual and temporal, the fruits of the former. No peace without grace. No peace, nor grace, but from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ; and the best saints need fresh supplies of the graces of the Spirit, and desire to grow.
(3-8) Spiritual and heavenly blessings are the best blessings; with which we cannot be miserable, and without which we cannot but be so. This was from the choice of them in Christ, before the foundation of the world, that they should be made holy by separation from sin, being set apart to God, and sanctified by the Holy Spirit, in consequence of their election in Christ. All who are chosen to happiness as the end, are chosen to holiness as the means. In love they were predestinated, or fore-ordained, to be adopted as children of God by faith in Christ Jesus, and to be openly admitted to the privileges of that high relation to himself. The reconciled and adopted believer, the pardoned sinner, gives all the praise of his salvation to his gracious Father. His love appointed this method of redemption, spared not his own Son, and brought believers to hear and embrace this salvation. It was rich grace to provide such a surety as his own Son, and freely to deliver him up. This method of grace gives no encouragement to evil, but shows sin in all its hatefulness, and how it deserves vengeance. The believer’s actions, as well as his words, declare the praises of Divine mercy.

I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Correct regarding the role of the digestive system in immune system regulation:
The “gut-brain connection” (and the vagus nerve) is a crucial component of keeping the human body and brain in harmony.
One example: 90% – 95% of the natural SSRI hormone is produced in the human gut — the intestines. By cells that line that intestinal walls. This gut-produced SSRI then “travels” through the bloodstream and into the brain. The human brain itself produces only the remaining 5% – 10% of SSRI. The combination of the gut-produced SSRI + the brain-produced SSRI = the regulation of mood, emotions, and the psychological / somatic manifestations thereof. Natural SSRI is made in such a way that it crosses the Blood-Brain Barrier without doing harm.
SSRI drugs, when prescribed by a physician to assist in the treatment of emotional / mood disorders, basically ignores the SSRI produced by the gut, and instead works on the SSRI produced by the brain. I received a couple of blessings yesterday. The couple across the street from us asked for some help with the husband’s 3D printer. Just a cable issue. This is the couple where the wife works and was required by her employer and customers (hospitals, physicians, etc) to be jabbed. Her husband is medically disabled. She experienced Bells Palsy, breast cancer, and needed a hip replacement in a three year period after the jabbing started. But she needed her job and at her age (early 60s) was not going to find anything else that had schedule flexibility, compensation and insurance like she had.
Her husband had an industrial related accident over 30 years ago. He’s had over 20 surgeries since then – spine/neck at least 10 times, hips, shoulder, etc. Several replacements. He is held together with bailing wire and is on a walker doing PT now after yet another surgery. His goal is to be strong enough to mow his own yard this summer.
The good news is they have woken up about the medical industry and have softened hearts for the Lord. When the husband would blow off talking about his spiritual condition in the past he now welcomes prayers and is listening intently about faith things. She is a non-church attending believer. It has helped their marriage that they are now receptive to faith things together.
FWIW – they are good people at heart. They would and have helped anybody that needed it. They have been great to our family and others.
The other blessing is that they now know the jabs have been killing them. I was finally able to convince them on what to do to help counter their effects yesterday. PTL for opening their minds and hearts! The wife wrote it all down and said they would get what they needed immediately.

Yes – that’s is what was likely next. The husband will be satisfied to walk without assistance and he is only 65. Very strong physically despite the surgeries before COVIDiocy. Six months ago I had to help him lift him out of the floor when his leg popped out of a replacement hip socket. That happened three times in a month before they had him back in for a surgery to correct it.
We have been most worried about his wife – she’s the one the turbo cancer could hit the quickest and is the most stressed from taking care of his needs. There are no other family members in the area, his son is in the military. They have home health nursing coming in twice a week now, which is good.
So great TB2. Blessings all around on that, them, you, others that might hear of the story, their family that possibly will have extra years with them…a blessing snowball!

Just read the Dr. Malone ‘Homesteading’ article that was posted over at Marica’s, and one of the comments was talking about a place where ‘boys could be boys’, and children need a certain amount of danger, and “Somehow, all of us older people survived playing with matches, riding bikes without helmets, skinned knees, and who knows what else mischief!”.
And it instantly reminded me of what I saw when I dropped my nephew off at his family’s house after dinner last night.
I was about to pull out of the side street, and a bicycle went by, with someone who looked to be in his teens. It was a bigger bike, like a mountain bike. The rider had a headlight mounted on the handlebars. The rider had a great helmet.
Then another followed him. And three more. Then a couple seconds later, three or four more, and then a couple of stragglers.
All the same.
Same bikes.
Same headlights.
Same helmets.
Riding 10mph down a small town street, in a small town that has practically no traffic anywhere besides the main State Route (two lanes each direction, 35mph speed limit) through the middle of town.
I laughed out loud, without even realizing it.
It’s just sad.
People are either so afraid, or so overprotective, or so careful, it makes me cringe.
Like they’re teen-aged babies.
It’s all feminine energy.
If my Mom tried to make me wear a bike helmet, I would have laughed at her.
If it somehow became a credible condition for being allowed to ride MY bike (which it wouldn’t), I would have ditched the helmet the moment I was out of sight.
We all had our own different bikes.
I had a Raleigh Rampar BMX bike, which I slowly upgraded over time (as paper route money allowed), until it had a Mongoose chromoly steel frame (dark blue), Red Line alloy front forks (black), Tuff-Wheel 1 fiberglass mag wheels (black), snakeskin tires, fluted black allow handlebars, a Mongoose double-gooseneck (to keep the handlebars from pushing forward when landing after jumps) and Oakley 1 rubber grips.
I still had the heavy steel rat-trap pedals (very durable), sprocket, chain and the seat from the Raleigh Rampar, but that was about it.
My cousin had a Schwinn BMX bike that he customized over time. One of our friends had a PK-Ripper BMX bike (I always liked the PK-Ripper, my second favorite after my blue Mongoose frame).
Nobody put headlights on their bikes.
We rode wherever we wanted to. Streets, sidewalks, yards, whatever the shortest distance between two points was, that’s where we went.
Cars were deadly, and we rode like cars were roving pylons with no driver, so you just assumed the driver would never see you, and ride accordingly.
You never ever expected a car to swerve to miss you, or to brake for you, because you might as well be dead if you are counting on that.
Like a real life game of Frogger, and you’re the frog, trying to cross the busy street.
Now I see these dandies riding by, with their helmets and headlights and all their bikes the same, riding on the street, like a gay parade.
It’s just sad!

Yep! God knows we never had helmets, etc, but we did hear our Mom’s stern admonition: “You better be home when the street lights come on!!” Nothing about safety, that was on us.

BUT..the land of plenty has apparently given their blessing on giving their elementary school and middle school kids electric bikes. They’re everywhere. Sometimes helmets, sometimes not. They follow no driving rules, speed in and out of traffic. I’m not exaggerating. It’s hard to believe that the cops don’t do a thing..but they don’t. Today a slew of them on brand new e bikes pulling out in front of me both times I ran out to do errands.
I’ve noticed that these aren’t even E assist bikes, they’re full on ebikes that can go up to about 40mph

Over here the big deal is electric roller scooters that can go up to 25mph, IIRC. The mozzie youf (Tahalons) LOVE them, and often ride them two-up (two on a roller scooter) and in pairs, taking over the sidewalks and often hitting people or pushing them out of the way… as if they own the place.

My youngest son played Evil Canivel with his friend. They build a ramp. He used to come home all banged up but only a couple of years ago I found out about his deeds.
Later in College his friends and he drove 2-3 AM down a parking lot . All these years I thought he was such a good boy little did I know I raised a dare devil. So glad I did not know about it would have ground him as a kid.
It’s best Mom’s never knew the crap we did.
