And yet, we can have faith. We had some candidates win. There is a plan to strike back. And I’ve learned a lot about what is possible, and what is not.

As a scientist and a caver, if I see an interesting ‘rabbit hole’ I am instantly going to get side tracked. And what is the first thing I see? To which Brand snapped back: “If you have an economic system in which pharmaceutical companies benefit hugely from medical emergencies, where the military industrial complex benefits from war, where energy companies benefit from energy crisis, you are going to generate states of permanent crisis where the interests of ordinary people separate from the interests of the elite.”
