There was nothing left of the house and multiple vehicles, but no nearby civilians were harmed.
Did you know that the Geneva Conventions allow for civilian casualties?
The only prohibitions are on disproportionality and on indiscriminate attacks.

In the first battle that the Americans fought in World War One, our men fell in rows, cut down by machine guns.
Each wave died.
In World War Two, we had aircraft that were like flying coffins.

It has always been just outside my ability to articulate, resulting in ‘screaming into the void’, and now it’s not, thanks to being able to make application of ‘tit for tat’ game theory.

In other words, if the other guy threatens to use poison gas, you make sure you have some of your own and let him know that you’ll retaliate with it. That means that he has nothing to win by using it, and he won’t. (A war is a sequence game and not a single transaction because each day is a new exchange. If you gassed my guys yesterday, I can gas yours today.)
I chose that example carefully because that’s actually what happened in WWII in Europe. After the horror of poison gas in WWI, the world agreed to ban its use in one of the Geneva Conventions, and in fact no-one did use poison gas in Europe in WWII. Not even Hitler, who apparently knew no bounds at all, was willing to. Because he was following international law? Hell no. It was because the Americans and British maintained stocks of poison gas in Europe and were ready to retaliate in kind. (In fact, an American ship carrying 100 tons of mustard gas was sunk by a German air attack in the Italian harbor of Bari in December of 1943.)
And so it is here. No, I cannot promise ahead of time that my nation will not bomb innocents, or use terrorism, or torture, or poison gas, or bio weapons, or nuke, nor in fact can I exclude anything. If I do, then I am adopting a “saint” strategy and leave myself wide open for the use of such tactics against my own side by an opposing sinner. Only by being willing to do those kinds of things myself can I deter their use against me.
I believe that my nation must adopt tit-for-tat instead of using saint tactics, because it is much better. But for that to work, I have to be willing to be as dirty as he is, if he forces me to be.
This is the theoretical basis for such aphorisms as “To get peace, you must prepare for war.” That means that your nation is prepared to use tit-for-tat. The pacifist idea of publicly pledging to never go to war, or to never use a particular tactic in that war, is instead a saint strategy, and it results in disaster.

When elections are rigged, it’s not possible to vote out the crooks.
For an analogy, think of the old Chicago mob. Lots of the cops are crooked, and the state and local government is DEFINITELY crooked. What chance do the People of Chicago have to vote out the crooks? They’re still trying to find the answer to that question, all these years later.
It is true that, somehow, in 2016, we miraculously overcame the widespread voter fraud of the Left.
We still don’t know how that happened, but we give ourselves credit anyway.
I think we’ll find out, eventually, that we had some non-conventional help to suppress voter fraud, or we wouldn’t have won.

Government has all the power of force (intimidation, arrest, prosecution, incarceration, execution) and surveillance, and money, and manpower at its disposal.
If government is corrupt, if government is using technology and intimidation and propaganda to suppress and manipulate the vote, such that a super-majority would be required to overcome it, and THEN the government engages in massive voter fraud on top of it all, then what chance do the People have?
I have the exact same frustration as you expressed, with all of it.
I just don’t see how ‘voting’ is the answer, if the entire system, including the vote, is rigged.

And we know exactly how demoralizing it is to get everyone motivated to vote, and they DO vote, and yet we lose anyway because the vote is rigged, and then we all attack each other for not getting out the vote.
What if we DID win, what if we HAVE BEEN winning, what if we actually WON most of the elections for the last 30+ years — except we didn’t, due to voter fraud at the state and local level, and ‘The Splitter Strategy’ at the presidential level?

The good guys over here,the AfD, are slowly but surely winning, even though the faux-conservative CDU don’t want to form a coalition with them. Actually, they are doing it quickly, as they’ve grown into a major party faster than any other one has.
In Thuringen over the weekend, the AfD came in second, with the left (Die Linke) first, not a surprise considering the history of that land. The gains by those two parties came at the expense of the two (crooked) traditional parties, the CDU and the SPD, as well as the Greens, who have angered everyone, even liberals, with their “ban everything” agenda. Now the tricky bit will be forming a coalition, as whichever one happens, will have to have some elements of the left, and unless they really pull a fast one, the AfD. The FDP is a barely-right-of-middle party that could help out. The SPD have been marginalized, almost to the point of missing the 5% cutoff. The next few days as the backroom deals are made should be interesting, especially as the Ministerpräsident (effectively Governor) of Thuringen is CDU, and actually talking about a coalition with Die Linke, just to shut the AfD out. He’s a real jerk, and risks ruining the CDU in Thuringen. Another faux-conservative along the lines of Merde-Kuh…

I think more and more people are “getting woke” and, from what I’ve read, the younger folks in Thuringen are more conservative than their elders. The 60-and-over group voted for the Die Linke (the left) much more than the younger folks did; understandable because when they were part of the DDR, Die Linke were the SED (the party, as it were)… hmmm. Actually, the Yorktown surrender was in 1781, and in 1812-1815, the British forces were spread so thin that they let us go. The big victories for the US were in 1814 and 1815 – and that one was after the treaty was signed.

My pet theory about 9/11/12 is that Zero wanted Stevens kidnapped for a prisoner exchange for the blind sheik. This is why they didn’t want a rescue. Stevens was rushed to the hospital in a futile attempt to save his life since dead hostages don’t get exchanged (except Israelis).
I’m not saying that the tweeter said anything wrong but IMO this is the most logical reason for 9/11 being the date. The blind sheik was in prison for the bombing of the WTC in 1993. The towers came down on 9/11 which makes it a symbolic date for releasing the blind sheik (or starting the release process).
As much as the two theories can be harmonized is where the truth probably lies. FTR the MB in Egypt had already demanded the release of the sheik, a day or two after they took power.
There may well be something to that. At this point, with no hard answers, theories are all we have to go on based on data points.

Some quick thoughts…
The primary problem facing Black America is spiritual.
* Materialism – The belief that owning things will make you happy. Or, that conspicuous consumption will earn you respect – be seen as a sign of “arriving”. (Concern for other people’s opinons)
* Hedonism – The belief in pursuing pleasure, as expressed by their poets (rap). Also seen in the elevation of “criminal entrepreneurship”.
* Critical Theory – As expressed in Neo-Marxism, Racialism, Victimhood, Resentment, and Entitlement
Not that I disagree, but given my own life history, it’s really a cultural immaturity. There are those who have left that behind, and with a few lifestyle differences, they’re no different at the core than the rest of us.

They bought into the belief that the very same racist who used to own the South’s plantations, started the 1st Civil War, enacted the Jim Crow laws, instituted segregation, stood up the KKK as their political enforcement arm after blacks were enfranchised with the vote, and fought against the Civil Rights movement WEREN’T the people they knew them to be.
Of course, the KEY to this lynchpin was 1st assassinating MLK Jr, then buying off Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and all the other house n-word to sell out black America to the descendants of the slave owners.
THAT is what happened, and THAT is and long has been the #1 problem with black America.
I hate to disagree, but there are cultural pathologies that go back a lot farther than that still running wild. Sometime read up on the history of jazz and the night clubs prior to the Depression. The Great Society push just pulled all of it into the open.

The most commonly floated theory is that the company is trying to give consumers one more reason to subscribe to its new streaming service, Disney+. Recently, the company released a list of the films and shows that will be available to stream on the new service when it debuts November 12 — predictably, it included plenty of old Disney movies both good and bad (lots of Don Knotts!), as well as some Fox titles that could conceivably be Disney titles (Miracle on 34th Street, or Danny Boyle’s Millions). Does that mean that the rest of the Fox catalogue will go to Disney’s sister streaming service, Hulu (a cooperative venture that Disney recently acquired by purchasing Fox, a one-third partner in Hulu, then buying out the other remaining partner, Comcast)? That’s not clear at this point. Either way, the Disney+ theory only makes sense if you really believe that film buffs who love Fox or Disney repertory titles enough to leave their homes to see them in theaters would be less likely to subscribe to a service that offered a whole library of options in that vein.
A more convincing theory is that this is just how Disney does business. We’re now 11 years into the imperial phase of Disney’s expansion, which saw the company buy Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm (owners of Star Wars and Indiana Jones) and become the dominant player in theatrical exhibition. Last year, Disney claimed 40 percent of North American ticket sales (a number expected to jump to 50 percent once the Fox merger begins to deliver). It is able to demand and receive percentages of ticket sales far beyond those of its rivals, plus entire screens dedicated not just to near-surefire hits from Marvel, Pixar, Lucasfilm, and Disney’s animation department, but iffier prospects like the live-action remakes of Pete’s Dragon and Dumbo, A Wrinkle in Time, and nature documentaries like Monkey Kingdom.

A friend and former colleague of mine was a classmate and friend of a member of the founding family. Lots of interesting things were happening in this timeframe. I asked him to show his friend the book “Disney and the Bible” (which told about the “issues” amongst Disney folks, and Hollyweird in general). The family member said they’re looking to fix the issues… but this was long, long ago. I think the Deep State (and/or ChiComs) have pretty much ruined everything since then… Sad.

My understanding of the Scriptures, in dealing with a member who was engaged in error or sin, would be the following.
First, if it became known that a member was pro-abortion, another member of the errant man’s local congregation would talk to that person privately.
If he did not repent, the member who talked with him would take one or two others to talk with the errant individual.
If he still did not repent, they would take it to the congregation as a whole.
And if the person still would not repent, that person would be withdrawn from, all according to Scripture. (cf. Matthew 18:15-17)
Being withdrawn from is a Scriptural means of impressing upon the individual how serious their error is, and it is hoped that this will finally cause them to repent, leading to the individual being forgiven and restored to the congregation.

He said he has started a new program that will run every day from 9 am to 10 am called “War Room”. Steve is going to try to bring the facts to the American people. The show will continue until Pres. The reason I started using that approach was due to forums like Breitbart, where people could edit their posts.
What would happen is someone would post an argument or position. I would refute it, and then they would go back and change/edit their post.
So I began quoting their posts, so there would be a permanent record of their original post, and so I could prove they were cheating if they changed their original post after the counterargument had already been made.
Often the arguments were fairly long with multiple points, so the most efficient way to tear their argument to shreds was to quote each point and destroy it individually.
The secondary reason to quote whatever I was specifically replying to is to prevent myself from mischaracterizing what they said or put words in their mouth. This was happening to me all the time (people putting words in my mouth that I didn’t actually say, then creating a Straw Man, and then defeating a point that I never actually made).
In order to prevent myself from doing the same thing, quoting the exact words of my opponent solves that problem. I’m directly quoting what they said, usually just a sentence or two at a time, at most.
Nobody can ever accuse me of putting words in their mouth, because I’m not paraphrasing or responding in a general way to a large body of text.
It also helps me to focus on what they actually said as I write my reply, making ‘point / counterpoint’ much easier. Also makes it easier for my opponent to concede certain points, and focus on others where they think they have a better chance of countering my counterpoint, and so by process of elimination, we get down to the nub of the argument more quickly.
Or I can also lead the argument in a certain direction by crushing certain points and only making a half-hearted response to other points, inviting my opponent to pursue that point because they perceive it to be stronger due to my weak response.
Once they’re committed, then the trap closes.
Fighting on Breitbart was really an interesting experience. There were so many people to argue with and the pace was so fast that you could really try a lot of different things, do ‘A / B’ testing, to figure out what works in that environment and what doesn’t, and then focus on what works.
It was a lot of fun destroying Leftists, and I was pretty good at it 😁
But eventually it becomes more like a ‘first person shooter’ action game, where you just attack anything that moves. That’s fun for a while, even for a pretty long time, but it gets boring when you get to a point where there’s no ‘next level’ you can take it to.
Then I found CTH and it was like changing gears to a whole different pace and mindset. Even the threat of suspension or banning (which I didn’t like) was fun in the sense that it was just a challenge to see how close to the line you could get without crossing it. Because when such a boundary exists, the natural human tendency is to challenge it.
Here is much better. Without any real ‘boundary’, there is no desire to focus on getting right to the edge, because there is no edge. By removing that artificially manufactured ‘challenge’, the energy or focus is entirely on the conversation at hand, which compared to all the other formats and forums I’m familiar with, is the most engaging and interesting.

I read on one Tweet she was already back in service, which I found odd. I had understood the injuries were serious.
First they were injuries (presumably worth evacuation). Then, they were serious injuries. Then, they were potentially life-threatening. Now she’s back in service.
I’m thinking stunned by the suicide vest. Pulled-out as a casualty. Deaf most of the next day. Shook it off and chased balls the day after (while under observation for concussion, etc.). Now back at work.
