The Christian life is supposed to be a life lived by faith. It is by faith that we enter into the Christian life, and it is by faith that we live it out. When we begin the Christian life by coming to Christ for forgiveness of sin, we understand that what we seek cannot be obtained by any other means than by faith. We cannot work our way to heaven, because nothing we could ever do would be sufficient. Those who believe they can attain eternal life by keeping rules and regulations—a list of do’s and don’ts—deny what the Bible clearly teaches. “But that no one is justified by the Law in the sight of God is clear, for, ‘The just shall live by faith’” (Galatians 3:11). The Pharisees of Jesus’ day rejected Christ because He told them this very truth, that all their righteous deeds were worthless and that only faith in their Messiah would save them.
In Romans 1, Paul says that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the power that saves us, the gospel being the good news that all who believe in Him will have eternal life. When we enter into the Christian life by faith in this good news, we see our faith grow as we come to know more and more about the God who saved us. The gospel of Christ actually reveals God to us as we live to grow closer to Him each day. Romans 1:17 says, “For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: ‘The righteous will live by faith.’” So part of the Christian life is diligent reading and study of the Word, accompanied by prayer for understanding and wisdom and for a closer, more intimate relationship with God through the Holy Spirit.
The Christian life is also supposed to be one of death to self in order to live a life by faith. Paul told the Galatians, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20). Being crucified with Christ means that we consider our old nature as having been nailed to the cross and we choose to live in the new nature, which is Christ’s (2 Corinthians 5:17). He who loved us and died for us now lives in us, and the life we live is by faith in Him. Living the Christian life means sacrificing our own desires, ambitions, and glories and replacing them with those of Christ. We can only do this by His power through the faith that He gives us by His grace. Part of the Christian life is praying to that end.
The Christian life is also supposed to persevere to the end. Hebrews 10:38-39 addresses this issue by quoting from the Old Testament prophet Habukkuk: “Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” God is not pleased with one who “draws back” from Him after making a commitment, but those who live by faith will never draw back, because they are kept by the Holy Spirit who assures us that we will continue with Christ until the end (Ephesians 1:13-14). The writer of Hebrews goes on to verify this truth in verse 39: “But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.” The true believer is one who believes to the end.
So the Christian life is one lived by faith in the God who saved us, empowers us, seals us for heaven, and by whose power we are kept forever. The day-to-day life of faith is one that grows and strengthens as we seek God in His Word and through prayer and as we unite with other Christians whose goal of Christlikeness is similar to our own.

Tony is a good guy! I spent years on his blog until Trump ran for president. Then I migrated to the Conservative Tree House, then here.
There seems to be a mental virus among the top climate skeptics that Trump is accidentally right on many things, but that he’s stupid, wrong, or a chump on the rest The “Trump is a baby” and “Trumpneedsta” mentalities. Zero belief that Trump might be smart or strategic.

People need to read Sundance’s new post. Think he has met with Pres. Trump and 8-15 may be huge. Pray for our country and for Pres. Trump and family. We all need to be on high alert this week. I sound as if I might know more than I do, just passing on what I gleaned from comenters there and from friends.

Sundance rumors are starting to blend, IMO. I think some which are purposefully wrong are being promoted by shills, including WuMao (Chinese trolls), Brock types, Eeyores, CIA, NeverTrump, etc.
They’re really pushing “anti-Pence” stuff.
SD came after all the commenters, hard, in the comments section of that thread, saying people were missing the point and focusing on the wrong things. When you ask questions and present a mystery, though, it is human nature to speculate and try to solve it.
I was hoping SD would do that – I missed what you’re talking about (I saw the thread very early). Yeah, he has opened up for speculation, and some of the speculations are (IMO) intentionally WAY TOO BIG for the simple reason of undermining the message when the real stuff comes out.
Here is another issue tying into the push against Pence from a completely different angle, but yeah, that’s how they work. Pence looking “bad” from two different situations = “believable”. Note that Pence would be “too big a fish”, and thus a way to call the likely person that SD reveals “puny”.

No problem! I was talking about the wild theories EVERYWHERE about SD’s mystery and mystery trips. They are literally all over the place, including SD + Trump, Pence is the bad guy, Gauhar is the bad girl, certain legislators are the bad guy, SD met with [fill in the blank], etc. Wild stuff, much of it far beyond what I think he proved.
Well, S.D. stoked the curiosity a about where he went and what he was doing and whom he met with. If he didn’t want people to conjecture, he should either have been up front or kept quiet.

No need for an apology. It is just as I thought, that some people are speculating. Because SD has surrounded everything in mystery, some people believe he is so influential that he could meet with the president. (And they take his every theory as fact.) He allows such speculation to take root. I have strong doubts about it, but I could be mistaken. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Effectiveness of Ivermectin as add-on Therapy in COVID-19 Management (Pilot Trial)
Objectives: To assess the effectiveness of ivermectin (IVM) as add-on therapy to hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) and azithromycin (AZT) in treatment of COVID-19. Methods: This Pilot clinical trial conducted on hospitalized adult patients with mild to moderate COVID-19 diagnosed according to WHO interim guidance.
Sixteen Patients received a single dose of IVM 200Mcg /kg on admission day as add on therapy to hydroxychloroquine ( HCQ)and Azithromycin (AZT) and were compared with 71 controls received HCQ and AZT.
Results: All the patients of IVM group were cured compared with the controls [ 16 (100 %) vs 69 (97.2 %)]. Two patients died in the controls. The mean time to stay in the hospital was significantly lower in IVM group compared with the controls (7.62 ±2.75 versus 13.22 ±.90 days, p=0.00005, effect size= 0.82). No adverse events were observed
Conclusions : Add-on use of IVM to HCQ and AZT had better effectiveness, shorter hospital stay, and was relatively safe compared with controls.

The result with Ivermectin is interesting (very interesting), but also note that the HCQ/AZT only group was hospitalized. If HCQ is authorized at all, TPTB are trying to relegate it to outpatients, before hospitalization. It’s not supposed to work well for hospitalized patients . . . and certainly not many times better than the highly touted but basically impotent Remdesivir.
But . . . 97.2% of the infected and hospitalized HCQ control group survived the experience. Not a bad cure percentage for a drug that’s not supposed to be effective for later stages of the coronavirus infection.

You will see that there is no mention of zinc, and that’s critical, because zinc could actually be a factor here, as well as many other things.
They did NOT run the ivermectin study and the “only HCQ/AZT control” at the same time. The non-ivermectin HCQ study was simply done BEFORE the study WITH ivermectin. Zinc was UNCONTROLLED. This means that simply changing the food in the cafeteria could change the results.
Not just that – there could have been other changes at the hospital, that we don’t know about.
So some differences, take with a grain of salt.

Regarding the Floodwatch on China’s Three Gorges Dam:
The ChiComs have declared it “illegal” to report on the conditions at the Three Gorges Dam…and are arresting anyone who tries to post anything about it.
They say it’s “misinformation” — and they have declared it a crime.
So, reports have been scarce the last two days.
I don’t know if that means that things have gotten worse, or what…but the water from heavy rains west of the Dam is probably making its way down to it by now.
In Mike Adams’ Health Ranger podcast, he talks about how many Nuclear Power Plants are downstream from the 3 Gorges Dam.
There are dozens of them!
So if the Dam goes…we’re looking at multiple disasters like the Fukushima plant in Japan.

when I was growing up, the house across the street blew up–underground gas leak. luckily the older woman who owned the home was not home, so it was not a deadly tragedy–but our house shook from the blast—never forgot it.
We spent a month hiking in New Zealand and had quite a few minor earthquakes in the north island. One time we were sitting at the bar in our hotel and all the hanging fruit baskets started a mad dance, the first indication of the quake. Instinct is to grab on and hold tight.
Another time while visiting parents in Oregon, at 6 am a “train” came barreling through the house” or so we thought at the time. They are loud!
But the most interesting is Japan, where earthquakes and typhoons are common-place. I was attending an opera in Tokyo. Almost at the beginning of the performance, the seats started violently shaking…the Japanese people around me indicated it was an earthquake and remain calm. But, in this particular opera there was a big, winding staircase as a major part of the stage set. During the quake it became detached and started rolling across the stage with the on-stage performers scrambling to get out of the path. The curtains quickly closed and there was quite a long pause to not only calm the cast from Slovakia down but to reset the stage. They started the performance over again. (BTW, think of a Slovakian opera company, performing in Italian with Japanese subtitles on the overhead screen…it was a bit surreal for me.)

The Durham area where I’m currently staying felt it. I think an aftershock hit about 5 minutes ago, made a sound like a garbage can being dropped on the roof.
Then you are not far from me. (We did a birthday party in Durham yesterday evening — NO MASKS!)
You felt a 3 but apparently closer to the epicenter it got up into “very noticeable” territory. (Many people don’t notice a 3.)

We had a 5-pointer here in OK back in 2009 and we felt it even though it was over 60 miles away.
It shook the house but nothing fell.

Hope NC residents have earthquake insurance (& TN too + MO, KY, etc.). We lived in NC (just outside of RTP) for 12 yrs and always had an earthquake rider on our home insurance. It is not automatic. Does’t cost much because earthquakes in the Carolinas are infrequent … but they do happen. See Charleston Earthquake – Huge1
Here in TN we have a seperate policy, $120 a yr. See 1811 when the trees fell, structures collapsed, Mississippi ran backwards and Reel Foot Lake was created by an earthquake/series of earthquakes.
We don’t do much except for having our home owners earthquake coverage, making sure bookcases and cabinets are attached to the walls & securing heavy pictures. Plus, making sure canning jar shelves/storage have a little extra protection so they don’t slide of the shelf, having a low bar around the shelves, just in case.
Additional – knowing how to turn off the water at the house &/or from the main and how to turn off the gas/propane ASAP if a big earthquake comes + making sure propane tanks are secure. Sometimes those big 500 gallon tanks are on slight or significant inclines. Of course, it would take a big earthquake to dislodge them as they are so heavy.
Anyway, things we have thought about as home owners in NC and TN. Think about, take a few actions and get a little info and then forget about & hopefully never need it!
The New Madrid Fault has had a number of stress relieving tremors during my lifetime. It still could go at anytime, though, hence the stringent building codes here. Even the Arch has enough clearance on both sides that it won’t hit anything if it falls over in a strong quake.
If you are ever in Columbia, SC, don’t miss visiting the Capitol Statehouse…it’s beautiful! But, also interesting is something most visitors are unaware of…a wide and deep, stone-filled trench completely around the building to act as an earthquake barrier to absorb the shock waves before they hit the building itself. Think of it as wooded barrier islands protecting the mainland for storms.
If I recall correctly, it wasn’t a modern-day afterthought but was part of the early construction plans.

When the Transamerica Pyramid opened in San Francisco, for 2 wks they had the Architectural Drawings on display in the Lobby.
This structure was built on HUGE Teflon barrel-shaped bearings…so in a quake, the entire Building actually moved.

Think that type of architecture design is fairly common today is earthquake-prone areas….new construction in Japan, for example. It would be interesting to see a slow-motion video of a skyscraper swaying during an earthquake…I seem to remember one several years ago when it was first used. Having experienced several hurricanes and watching the palm trees sway almost to the ground, I wonder if, like so many things in life, if man took their clue from nature and adapted it to man-made objects. 😉 spiderwebs, anyone?
Earthquake insurance here, no one has except those who can afford it. Its about 1000 a year or more.
Always figured if there is a horrendous quake where I live, the Feds will be tossing money or low to no interest loans all about.
The one time I did price earthquake ins in CA, the price was obscene. What the insurance covered or did not cover, deductibles made it a poor choice.

We pay ~$30 a quarter for our earthquake insurance here in TN. Very affordable.
In NC we paid a rider to our State Farm, couple hundred a year at most and I think I am pretty sure it was less than $200. We lived in Durham, just outside of RTP. Our agent had never had anyone request it and wasn’t part of our regular home insurance. Have to add it. Ask b/c you might not be covered for earthquake damage otherwise.
Very affordable in most states where an earthquake is unlikely. Much more expensive to be without it and a big earthquake hits, ruins foundations, etc. and costs of multiple $1,000s.
We have had 2 homes burn to the ground in the last 10 months in our county with no fire insurance/home owners. Left distitute. Expensive to have, more expensive not to have it.
One of the expenses to consider when buying a house.
Mortgage + taxes + full coverage insurance + maintenance (small routine to big like window/door/roof replacements, plumbing/electrical works, etc.) + property upkeep (trees, driveways and more routine like lawn care and building upkeep) = can we afford this house?
Too many just consider their mortgage/taxes. Can always scale back the house to own a house one can afford to insure.
We always do flood insurance too. Same principle.
a) if the insurance is too expensive then the house is too expensive for us
b) if the insurance company knows the liklihood of disaster is that likely then maybe we should move to another location as its not just about the house!
c) if its expensive to insure its even more expensive to be uninsured and dependent on fellow taxpayers for help if/when disaster comes. heck, even with insurance will probably need plenty of help in a disaster!

Flood insurance is just as expensive and mudslides, floods arent covered under lots of policies. This is California specific. The politics of the left, laws created that force purchases, high taxes, legal requirements for things as simple as a smoke alarm, have made insuring almost unaffordable and little benefit for the extras. Everyone who owns a home at the very least should have some standard coverage.

But, today when I woke up and had my morning coffee, I realized that everything is changing.
No matter how I vote, or what I say, or to whom I say it, no matter how I spend my money or how righteously I try to live my life, something evil has invaded our nation, has deeply affected the soul of our country, and has buried the youthful innocence of our national treasure.
The liberty we have lauded for nearly three centuries is laying on the altar of collectivism, surrounded by the chants for socialism, and suffering from the rants against capitalism, wealth, individualism and success.
It’s in this context that I’m confused by the hostility of family, friends and former foreigners. I look at people I’ve known all my life, some so filled with hate, that they will agree with opinions they would never express as their own if they were in their right minds. It’s beyond comprehension.
It seems like I’ve entered the Twilight Zone…
Some people may be enraged and would argue how wrong and old fashioned these thoughts are. Nevertheless, I can’t resist expressing them because we ARE becoming the Twilight Zone…
We have become a nation that has lost its collective mind.
• If a man pretends to be a woman, you are required to pretend with him.
• Somehow it’s un-American for the census to count how many Americans are in America.
• Russians influencing our elections are bad, but, illegals voting in our elections are good.
• It was cool for Joe Biden to blackmail the President of Ukraine, but, it’s an impeachable offense if Donald Trump inquires about it.
• Twenty is too young to drink a beer, but, eighteen is old enough to vote.
• People who themselves or their ancestors have never owned slaves should pay slavery reparations to people who have never been slaves.
• Questions challenging illegal immigration are hateful, but, harassing conservatives in restaurants is virtuous.
• People who have never been to college should pay the debts of college students who took out huge loans to go to colleges they couldn’t afford to go to.
• Illegal immigrants with tuberculosis and polio are welcome, but, you’d better be prepared to be shamed, fined or even imprisoned for refusing the vaccine for the virus of the year.
• Irish doctors and German engineers who want to immigrate must go through a rigorous vetting process, but, any illiterate gang-bangers who jump the southern fence are provided sanctuary.
• $5 billion for border security is too expensive, but, $1.5 trillion for “free” health care is not.
• If you cheat to get into college you go to prison, but, if you cheat to get into the country, you go to college for free.
• People who say there is no such thing as gender are demanding a female President.
• We see countries that went into Socialism and collapsed, but, we’re told it’s the direction our country should go.
• Some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, but, other people are not held responsible for what they are doing right now.
• Violent criminals in the catch-and-release program end up hurting more people when they’re released, but stopping them from being released is bad because it’s a violation of their rights.
• And, pointing out all this hypocrisy makes us “racists.” People are dying of a Chinese virus, but, it’s racist to refer to it as a Chinese virus even though it began in China.
Nothing makes sense. Values, morals and civility are nearly always mocked anymore.
We are clearly living in an upside down world where right is wrong and wrong is right, moral is immoral and immoral is moral, good is evil and evil is good, light is darkness and darkness is light, killing murderers is wrong, but, killing babies is right.
Wake up, Citizens!
The great unsinkable ship “Titanic America” is heading directly toward an iceberg.

Sad news this morning, as it was announced that an older gentleman from the parish passed away. He had been in a skilled nursing facility for a number of years following a massive stroke, and Monday we heard that he tested positive for COVID-19. I have little doubt he was not given the HCQ-zinc regimen. If so, his wife and children (I think they had 10) should have a good wrongful death case.
This really makes me mad.

And then another person known to us, sort of, passed away. He was one of a yours, mine and ours situation with a total of 17 siblings. That’s one family only funeral which is going to fill the church building.
Won’t work. When somebody has a life-threatening condition, and dies, the defense attorney will argue that the person would not have died from covid-19 were it not for the underlying condition. Ditto for not providing HCQ regimen. Cannot prove that HCQ regimen would have the saved person’s life.
The entire immunity scheme provided to Big Pharma for vaccines is actually unnecessary because nobody can prove that the vaccine caused death/damage. It’s mainly to avoid huge legal cost by having to do discovery in a lawsuit.

For what it’s worth I took a deeper dive on this question recently Your correct and I believe Moonshine got here before us. The Stafford Act does give us Fauci but the more of the story is that Trump technically doesn’t have the authority to fire Fauci; Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar and National Institutes of Health Director Francis Collins are the two people who do. Still though comes the next big obstacle in that Facui is a Title 42 government employee who can only be fire with just cause. As a Senior Executive Service (SES), a position classification created by the Civil Service Reform Act of 1978, and which went into effect under President Carter, Fauci has some serious protections. Under Federal law, he can be fired if he is found to have engaged in “misconduct, neglect of duty, malfeasance, or failure to accept a direct reassignment or to accompany a position in a transfer of function”, is or to be “less than successful \[in his\] executive performance.”
However, prior to being terminated for performance or conduct, Dr. Fauci must be given the due process protections offered by 5 U.S.C. § 7543(b), which provides that he is entitled to: at least 30 days’ advance written notice, unless there is reasonable cause to believe the employee has committed a crime for which a sentence of imprisonment may be imposed, stating the specific reasons for the proposed action; a reasonable time, but not less than 7 days, to answer orally and in writing and to furnish affidavits and other documentary evidence in support of the answer; be represented by an attorney or other representative; and a written decision and the specific reasons therefor at the earliest practicable date. In the unlikely event Dr. Fauci has to participate in this process, he has, in most instances, appeal rights to the MSPB, and the Federal Circuit.
Unless Fauci’s peers get him in a face to face as in Senate hearing with experts willing to counter his testimony and do it effectively were stuck with Fauci. Front Line Doctors don’t have the clout but there doing a good job of embarrassing him though they lack the exposure. These other experts now showing up are the ones that need get him in the face. Still your talking about only embarrassing him and forcing him to walk given all his legal protections. He did sit down in the House, but sat alone without peers. This way when a Senator asks Fauci why X happened, expert B and C can chime in with what should of be done different and then the Senator can go back to Fauci and demand to know why that was not is not considered. Do that enough times and Fauci might quit right there on the spot, at which time a proper replacement should be ready and not another Fauci clone.

At the 2016 election I used to get a mail in voter letter and then constant reminders to send it. I never ask for it and ignored it. I waned to vote in person and will do again. There is no way I trust the Post Office not who ever counts the votes. I also do not use machine to vote I fill out a form.

Its not exactly true about schools. He has said some are more important that others…esp conservative areas are least important. Openings are all over the map. Online, hybrid, all in person, and closed. No activities, during or after school, some activities, etc. I am grateful ive got a homeschool option. Kiddo’s private school calked asking me to register him, sign contract, and pay, before they would give schedule or covid policy. I was sent the policy afterthey had received everyone elses money and firmly feel I made the right decision. If a kid shows coughing or the sniffles or shortness if breath they are assuming covid and sending the kid home but you must pay tuition and be medically clesred. Kids get colds and have asthma.
They say you dont have to wear a mask but if you play inside you do(p.e. in gym), during any group activity, and if your kid refuses to wear it or takes it off they send the kid home, and you still have to pay.
If a private school is being this azzholey public is worse.
I was told by a woman from Michigan last week that kids who start online cannot change to in person later. If parents job changes, they move etc, illness, doesnt matter.
And if the child goes to school they are not allowed to WALK TO SCHOOL. They must be dropped off and picked up only by someone who lives in their house bc they do not want kids associating with each other.

Even better, Donald Trump is using what is known as the ESF, or Exchange Stabilization Fund to fund our Economic Recovery. On paper it is controlled by the US Treasury but operated by the Federal Reserve as a means of stabilizing the value of the dollar.
Since there isn’t any gold to back it up, they can either inject or withdraw dollar amounts from this fund in order to maintain a certain value of that dollar. They also then adjust interest rates as well. This ESF, pulls money from the IRS (your tax dollars) to fund itself.
Officially in charge of defending the dollar, the ESF is the government agency which controls the New York Fed, runs the CIA’s black budget, and is the architect of the world’s monetary system (IMF, World Bank, etc).

For what it’s worth I took a deeper dive on this question recently. Your correct and I believe Moonshine got here before us. The Stafford Act does give us Fauci but the more of the story besides the good analysis above is that Trump technically doesn’t have the authority to fire Fauci; Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar and National Institutes of Health Director Francis Collins are the two people who do. Still though comes the next big obstacle in that Facui is a Title 42 government employee who can only be fired with just cause. As a Senior Executive Service (SES), a position classification created by the Civil Service Reform Act of 1978, and which went into effect under President Carter, Fauci has some serious protections. Under Federal law, he can be fired if he is found to have engaged in “misconduct, neglect of duty, malfeasance, or failure to accept a direct reassignment or to accompany a position in a transfer of function”, is or to be “less than successful \[in his\] executive performance.”
However, prior to being terminated for performance or conduct, Dr. Fauci must be given the due process protections offered by 5 U.S.C. § 7543(b), which provides that he is entitled to: at least 30 days’ advance written notice, unless there is reasonable cause to believe the employee has committed a crime for which a sentence of imprisonment may be imposed, stating the specific reasons for the proposed action; a reasonable time, but not less than 7 days, to answer orally and in writing and to furnish affidavits and other documentary evidence in support of the answer; be represented by an attorney or other representative; and a written decision and the specific reasons therefor at the earliest practicable date. In the unlikely event Dr. Fauci has to participate in this process, he has, in most instances, appeal rights to the MSPB, and the Federal Circuit.
So basically all this is a huge obstacle to surromont and like any good obstacal it’s covered by fire and just too dangerous for the President to try to overcome it by himself.
Unless Fauci’s peers get him in a face to face as in a Senate hearing with experts willing to counter his testimony and do it effectively were stuck with Fauci. Front Line Doctors don’t have the clout even though they are doing a good job of embarrassing him, they also lack the kind of exposure needed in getting rid of this clown. These other experts, high placed epidemiologists and other top ranked surgeons, now showing up are the ones that need get him in the face to face. Still your talking about only embarrassing him and forcing him to walk given all his legal protections. He did sit down in the House, but sat alone without peers just as the House Dems wanted. The Senate in my opinion should call him and other experts in under the guise of determining what our nations approach and policy should be while examining short comings in the current processes. This way when a Senator asks Fauci why X happened, expert B and C can chime in with what should of be done different and then the Senator can go back to Fauci and demand to know why that was not is not considered. Do that enough times and Fauci might quit right there on the spot, at which time a proper replacement should be ready and not another Fauci clone.

I was just glancing at GWP and there’s a story there saying countries on average that used HCQ suffered 79% less deaths than those that have not embraced the drug. It’s like all these Dr’s either have a narrowly focused life, nice way of saying they have their heads in the sand, or they are afraid for their medical licences. I don’t know about others, but I’m at the point where it seems being a Doctor has become less than a profession its always purported it self to be and more of being than just another occupation. My trust and confidence levels in them are certainly not what they once were.
Many doctors belong to a group my son does. I believe they get their direction through that specially if it is political. My son was at the height of the epidemic in VA hospital and he told me they were trial using HCQ but he was not optimistic from what he had heard concerning HCQ. Couple of weeks he was back in his office seeing patience. That doctors incorporated themselves they abide by the regulations . Used to be that doctors were self employed and therefore had more freedom. Old style doctors are hard to come buy.
What I meant was that Congress cannot control HOW the president exercises his discretion. If he has a range of actions he can take, any one of them will do no matter what anybody else would have done.
Congress is so political that it passes new laws that conflict with existing laws and/or must be harmonized with existing laws. The Office of the White House Counsel analyzes these situations and attempts to see a way through to follow the president’s policy while following the law. While doing this, certain legal assumptions about the meaning of the existing laws must be made. These conclusions can be challenged.
IMO Office of WH Counsel should be unnecessary but as usual, a lazy trough-feeding pack of swine (sorry, pigs) doesn’t bother acting as if anything is their responsibility. Let the president do it and if we don’t like what he does, we’ll squeal like crazy.

I can’t find it now, but there was one study that measured both the mother’s and the baby in the womb’s oxgyen levels and found them both low when wearing a mask.
This is likely not too worrisome if your in and out of stores when pregnant but there are a number of pregant persons that work a full shift and I’d like to think they would be concerned about this.

I’m not advocating for Shrage, just presenting what he said. There’s a lot in those three paragraphs, but nothing is really clear, to me. Shrage says he “sought federal investigators,” but he doesn’t mention going to Congress. He says he thought it best to keep silent in 2019 when grilled by the ranking Republican on Intelligence, and that is Nunes. Then he went to Durham. I don’t know how to read between the lines at this point.
What’s to interpret?

Ok, synthesizing all of this together leads me to the following conclusions.
One of two things has happened. Either this guy, hip-deep in Washington intrigue, has gotten wind that time’s up, charges are coming, and he’s trying to get out ahead of it to save his ass; OR he WAS charged, FLIPPED, gave up everything he knows, has (tapes), etc., and this is the “out” he was given to save his ass.
If Durham is as good as I think, he proved this guy was not some pawn in the affair, but one of the plotters.

I have a friend who lives out there (we’d just moved away then) who said that OU had monitored Multiple seismic events for the “one” truck bomb. Early “news” footage had firefighters claiming they had seen unexploded ordinance attached to support pillars in the remaining portion of the Murrah building (echoes/foreshadowing of 9/11 perhaps?)…

DJT arranged with Graham to stay mum until DJT gave him the signal? What if the signal was this clown going on Maria show and Maria saying nothing about what Nunes said a year earlier? And both steps were part of a larger DJT plan? And I notice that Nunes has said nothing.
