MATTHEW 19:16-26

16And behold, one came up to him, saying, “Teacher, what good deed must I do, to have eternal life?” 17And he said to him, “Why do you ask me about what is good? One there is who is good. If you would enter life, keep the commandments.” 18He said to him, “Which?” And Jesus said, “You shall not kill, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, 19Honor your father and mother, and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 20The young man said to him, “All these I have observed; what do I still lack?” 21Jesus said to him, “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.” 22When the young man heard this he went away sorrowful; for he had great possessions. 23And Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly, I say to you, it will be hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” 25When the disciples heard this they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?” 26But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

As always, prayers for the fight against that which seeks to enslave us are welcome.

It is quite clear, as per Wolf’s message from July, that we are under spiritual attack. Building up a robust arsenal of prayer and discipline is a must in fighting the enemy and his minions.

In that spirit, the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel from Tuesday’s threads, and the Breastplate of St. Patrick, not to mention the Litany of Humility are favorites recommended by exorcists in spiritual warfare.

Unless one is traveling cross country, I don’t know why anyone would ever use a public charging station.

JD Power Study: Electric Vehicle Owners Prefer Dedicated Home Charging Stations
John Voelcker
Feb. 5, 2021

“Many non-EV owners’ concerns revolve around public charging: Where do I find a station? How often do I have to recharge? How long will it take? How much does it cost? These questions reflect the “gas station model,” in which adding energy to a car requires visiting a place.

In reality, 80% of EV charging is done at home — almost always overnight — or while a car is parked during the workday. So how easy it is to live with an electric car depends in part on how easy it is to juice up at home or at the office and how much it costs in those places.

There are three ways to charge at home, each with pros and cons. Every EV comes with a portable charging cord that lets the driver plug it into a 120-volt (“Level 1”) household outlet.

Using those outlets is easy, but the charge is slow. More and more of those portable cords now allow charging through faster, higher-power 240-volt (“Level 2”) plugs like those used for electric clothes dryers.”

There seems to be a disconnect in expectations. If EVs are only to be used for short trips around town, so that a charge overnight at home would be sufficient, that’s one thing. But many people have looked at them as substitutes for gas-powered vehicles. That would mean traveling cross-country for vacations, business trips, and the like, in which case people need reliable, available charging stations, similar to gas stations. But instead of realizing that EVs were not meant for such trips, people have had to learn the hard way by setting out on a journey, only to find that charging stations aren’t available or aren’t working or take forever to charge the vehicle, greatly inconveniencing them and impacting their timeline.

Maybe it’s a marketing issue. But I think if EVs had initially been marketed as vehicles intended for local use only, that would have negatively impacted their sales. Few people can afford the luxury of housing, insuring, and maintaining an extra car that they can’t rely on for a road trip. Instead, EVs were touted as the new “green” answer for the planet, so of course people thought they would be substitutes for gas-powered vehicles.

And they can be nuclear.

It’s probably not that difficult from an engineering standpoint to make methanol out of water and CO2…but it won’t be as cheap as extracting it from plants. If we had really cheap energy, that could change…and we could burn the same carbon over and over again in cars. The climate pukes will have to find another excuse to force us to live as cavemen.

“There seems to be a disconnect in expectations. If EVs are only to be used for short trips around town, so that a charge overnight at home would be sufficient, that’s one thing.”

_______________

If I remember correctly, a full charge is about 330 miles, so 165 miles each direction.

Much further than a short trip around town. Most people don’t drive that far (330 miles) on a daily basis.

Gail Combs

THAT is ‘name plate’ under ideal conditions. It would be much less in cold weather, esp with the heat on, defrost, stuck in traffic…

… the best EVs available on the market today can reach a range of up to 300 miles, these electric cars are often also the most expensive options.

How Many Miles Can an Electric Car Go?

For now, the answer to how many miles can an electric car go is mainly given in economic terms,👉 but the real number is about 150 miles.

https://8billiontrees.com/carbon-offsets-credits/cars/how-many-miles-can-electric-cars-go/

My Last commute in MA was ~55 miles one way. Going shopping afterwords without a recharge esp in weather like we have today ( a balmy 14 F in NC) would be a bit dicey.

Barb Meier

My daily commute was 194 miles round trip for over a decade.

Gail Combs

That is HORRIBLE! Actually that was if I went straight home. If you added the trip to the boarding stable every day, it would be over 150 mi a day.

Barb Meier

I hear you, Gail. I loved my house, I loved supporting counterterrorism LEOs back when that mattered. It was extra bad some days and you never knew until you got safely home. Mom should not have taught me we can do anything we set our minds to. hehe

THINK SMART METERS. The ability to shut down individual houses separately.

This is from my 2015 notes:

JEFFID: America is voluntarily shutting down its energy production

In short can the USA survive a 20% reduction (201GW) of generating capacity for three years or are there going to be frequent blackouts sparking riots? The reduction of capacity so far has already brought the grid to the edge. There is no more spare capacity buffering the system from what I can see.

…Last winter, bitterly cold weather placed massive stress on the US electrical system ― and the system almost broke. On January 7 in the midst of the polar vortex, PJM Interconnection, the Regional Transmission Organization serving the heart of America from New Jersey to Illinois, experienced a new all-time peak winter load of almost 142,000 megawatts.

Eight of the top ten of PJM’s all-time winter peaks occurred in January 2014. Heroic efforts by grid operators saved large parts of the nation’s heartland from blackouts during record-cold temperature days. Nicholas Akins, CEO of American Electric Power, stated in Congressional testimony, “This country did not just dodge a bullet ― we dodged a cannon ball.”… dailycaller(DOT)com/2014/04/23/americas-power-grid-at-the-limit-the-road-to-electrical-blackouts/

New natural gas plants and the pipelines to replace coal are not being built as planned while the coal plants are being shuttered at 5 times the rate expected. Most of the plant closings are on the east coast where it just so happens “George Soros spent $33 MILLION bankrolling Ferguson demonstrators to create ‘echo chamber’ and drive national protests” SEE: (wwwDOT)dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2913625/Billionaire-George-Soros-spent-33MILLION-bankrolling-Ferguson-demonstrators-create-echo-chamber-drive-national-protests.html

The 1977 riots during a 24 hour blackout will give you a taste for what is being planned.
SEE: (wwwDOT)brooklynhistory.org/blog/2011/07/07/the-1977-blackout/

Nuclear plants are not being build fast enough and 1/3 may be shutdown. While there are plans for a number of new reactors, no more than four new units will come on line by 2020. The planned reactor here in NC just got shelved so who knows whether those four units will ever get build amid all the protests and lawsuits. Besides 2020 is much too late to save the USA from the planned blackouts of 2017.

See: http://www.instituteforenergyresearch.org/2013/10/14/several-u-s-nuclear-plants-retiring-early-others-at-risk/
and
http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/02/09/us-usa-nuclear-nrc-idUSTRE8182J720120209

Instead of building new hydro, dams are being torn down and building new hydro plants is a nightmare.

See: http://www.americanrivers.org/initiative/dams/projects/2013-dam-removals/
and
http://instituteforenergyresearch.org/analysis/the-debilitating-cost-of-federal-regulatory-compliance/

The reality is a lot more coal plant capacity is being shuttered than was initially expected. “EPA’s power plant-level modeling projected that Agency regulations would close 14.5 GW of generating capacity.”</i> This was WAY under the actual number of closures. <i>”More than 72 gigawatts (GW) of electrical generating capacity have already, or are now set to retire because of the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) regulations.”

..original modeling of the MACT rule and original CSAPR rules estimated that under the worst case, or “strict” scenarios, 16.3 GW of electricity capacity would be closed due to the regulations, and the Department of Energy’s (DOE) “stringent” test showed that only 21 GW of generating capacity would be closed…

Really underestimated that didn’t they?

And this does not include the temporary 18 month closures for retro-fitting with a three year window so that half the plants needing retrofiting go down and then the other half with a total of three years worth of closures. So that’s another 129 GWs shut down for three years. In 2013 the total installed electricity generation summer capacity in the United States was 1,060 Gigawatts(GW), down 3 Gigawatts from 2012. Can the USA survive a 20% reduction (201GW) of generating capacity for three years or is there going to be frequent blackouts sparking riots?

…..

Trump forestalled this.

….

..NERC estimates that nearly a quarter of our coal-fired capacity could be off-line by 2018 and that as many as 677 coal-fired units (258 gigawatts) would need to be temporarily shut down to install EPA-mandated equipment.[ii] These EPA regulations must be implemented within a 3-year window and the mandated equipment takes about 18 months to install. Because EPA’s three year timeline is so tight and the regulations affect so many units, utility companies are not sure that they can meet the standards and ensure reliability of the electricity system at the same time….

http://instituteforenergyresearch(DOT)org/analysis/obamas-war-on-coal-continues-while-global-demand-increases/

Until recently I thought the coal plants were being mothballed. Unfortunately that is not true. They are being DESTROYED! That means if we run out of electric power here on the east coast in winter we are totally screwed. (wwwDOT)powermag.com/tricky-business-taking-down-old-coal-plants/

On top of that, thanks to the Obama edicts many towns are banning wood burning stoves/fire places and the EPA has put stringent new regs on newer models of wood stoves.

EPA ban on wood stoves is freezing out rural America: But the larger problem is the Sue and Settle sweetheart lawsuits through which Greens dictate policy.

…The EPA has recently banned the production and sale of 80% of America’s current wood-burning stoves…

The impacts of the EPA ruling will affect many families. According to the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2011 survey statistics, 2.4 million American housing units (12% of all homes) burned wood as their primary heating fuel, compared with 7% that depended upon fuel oil.

Local governments in some states have gone even further than the EPA, banning not only the sale of noncompliant stoves, but even their use as fireplaces. As a result, owners face fines for infractions….

Only weeks after the EPA enacted its new stove rules, attorneys general of seven states sued the agency to crack down on wood-burning water heaters as well. The lawsuit was filed by Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, and Vermont, all predominantly Democrat states. Claiming that the new EPA regulations didn’t go far enough to decrease particle pollution levels, the plaintiffs cited agency estimates that outdoor wood boilers will produce more than 20% of wood-burning emissions by 2017. A related suit was filed by the environmental group EarthJustice….

Utah Proposes Winter Wood Burning Ban to Improve Air Quality“The ban would eliminate solid fuel burning in fireplaces and wood/coal stoves from Nov. 1 to March 15” (wwwDOT)ehhi.org/woodsmoke/utah_proposes_ban_0115.shtml

Should Canadians have a right to burn wood for heat? “…Across the country [Canada], the burning of wood for heat is under fire. In Montreal, it is already illegal to install a new wood burning stove….”(wwwDOT)cantechletter.com/2015/03/canadians-right-burn-wood-heat/

Cuppa Covfefe

The EU isn’t getting a pass of any sort… we’re getting soaked every which way. They just have a different name for all the taxes, such as “EEG allowance”, which allows them to charge us DOUBLE what they did five years ago, and pay wind/solar vendors even when they are producting ZERO power. Add to that the fact that there are diesel generators on the offshore (and possibly onshore) turbines to keep them turning when there’s no wind, so the mechanism doesn’t freeze up…. fancy that…

In Germany we have the highest electricity rates in the world (or close to them… the lead keeps going back and forth, but the rates keep going UP, UP, UP) 😡 😡 😡 😡

pgroup2

Time to hook up generators to the exercise bikes.

We’re concerned about a couple of drains, so I got a “Drain Weasel” widget to poke around with….and it’s hauling out a bunch of gunk from the shower. It’s the basic model, only 18″, but I can’t imagine that the drainage was being helped by the hair clots. There are nicer/faster widgets, but the sterling characteristic of this thing is that it fits through the shower grating and was only $4.

The clothes washer is also backing up a bit, so I’m going to try and liquid plumber it….the major problem being that I don’t remember how the standpipe for the washer outflow and the p-trap for the laundry sink interact. I’ll have to look under the sink to see which trap I should use the liquid plumber in.

Regarding this X post from the open…

…this might be a very simplistic take, but if all those giant corporations have ownership interests in each other, then isn’t it in their interest to prevent a market crash? I see a lot of doom-and-gloom predictions about a coming recession, and some people take it further and say the economy is going to crash. I don’t see how the entire economy could crash without those megacorps being adversely affected if they all have monetary interests tied to each other.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

But if we all THINK things are going to get worse, the we will tolerate more money being taken from us, and turning to “black” MegaCorp money.

TheseTruths

I think the patriots (or maybe the paytriots) need to get their act together. Preaching economic doom might be playing into the hands of the globalists. And by doom, I mean in the style of 1929 where some of the wealthiest people lost everything and the little guy was poor.

The economy probably will get worse under the JB fraudministration for our everyday lives with high food and gas prices, inflation, job losses, a stagnant real estate market, etc.; but I don’t know if a stock market crash is imminent. Maybe, as you seem to indicate, they are using such threats to further control us — in which case we might be playing into their hands with extreme economic fears. I think we need to look deeper, as Ian Carroll did in that video.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

We have methods of resistance. But we need to understand, like Trump does, how to FIGHT on OFFENSE.

There are real “real things” — births, deaths, etc. Then, there are “real things” — a family trade, a homeowner’s manse, a web of business/social connections. After this, there are regular things — obligations freely given and taken in the course of normal life — which can be renegotiated upon hardship or repudiated.

And, then, there is paper. The Federal government’s dollars are paper; Social Security benefits are paper; shares of stock are paper. They can be issued at whim, backed by promises of more paper. They can soar; they can crash.

In many ways, 401K’s were an amazing scam. They persuaded people to shortchange their positions in their communities and their investments in homes and businesses for pieces of paper. How many people know their neighbors?

We’ve had a very long run where the stock market was supposed to matter. To end this nightmare, we may have to wake up and watch the stock market crash. Dollars were supposed to matter, and we’ve already seen what Our Elite Overlords have done with inflation. Dollars and stocks are paper.

From my A PRIMER ON MONEY (The comments are very good)

Money is metal coins, currency (Bank IOUs) and credit (fairy dust created out of thin air) or even beads and obsidian arrowheads. Money needs to be durable, accepted and dividable which is why precious metals were often the choice.

Wealth is LAND, RESOURCES and the labor that fashions usable and saleable goods.

Wealth is an accumulation of valuable economic resources that can be measured in terms of either real goods or money value.

I can not remember whether it was G.Edward Griffin or Congressman McFadden, But one of the 2 noted that BEFORE the Banksters CRASHED the system in 1929, they REMOVED THEIR MONEY FROM THE STOCK MARKET. Business titans such as William Boeing and Walter Chrysler actually grew their fortunes during the Great Depression.

WHAT OTHER BUSINESSES PROSPERED DURING THE GREAT DEPRESSION?

LET’S LOOK AT A FEW NAMES THAT CONTROLLED THESE INDUSTRIES:

CARNEGIE.

DUPONT.

FORD.

MORGAN.

VANDERBILT.

ROTHSCHILD.

ROCKEFELLER.

WESTINGHOUSE.

GETTY.

OLD NAMES, FAMILIAR NAMES.

WHO CONTROLS THE FINANCIAL WORLD TODAY?

EIGHT FAMILIES…JUST 8.

They are:

~the Goldman Sachs,

~Rockefellers,

~Lehmans and

~Kuhn Loebs,

~ the Rothschilds of Paris and London;

~the Warburgs of Hamburg;

~the Lazards of Paris;

~and the Israel Moses

TheseTruths

BEFORE the Banksters CRASHED the system in 1929, they REMOVED THEIR MONEY FROM THE STOCK MARKET.

The mega corporations mentioned in the video ARE the stock market. I suspect they control a bigger percentage of it than the ones in 1929 did. If not that, then I think they are more entrenched with each other than the ones in 1929 were. The point of the video is how they are intertwined so that what one does affects the others. If they withdrew from the market, the result would be cataclysmic, and I think they would be extremely adversely affected as well.

And before someone says that a cataclysmic result would be the goal, I understand that, but the video shows that the small white portions represent us and the majority of the colored sections represent the mega corps, so there is no way for them to a) all pull out of the market ahead of crashing it without LOTS of people taking notice (and for all I know, there might be laws about that), and b) cause a market crash without wiping out their own wealth.

I think we are so entrenched in our thinking that we’re not looking outside of the box.

My point is not about:
• their evil intent to destroy us
• the “need” for a crash to reach their goals
• moving us to a cashless society
• all the other things we talk about, and that internet influencers talk about, ad nauseam.

I’m narrowly focusing on the theory that a stock market crash is what they will use to accomplish their goals. I’m proposing that a market crash would severely adversely affect them, and that there might not be a way for them to withdraw from the market legally and surreptitiously, so that I don’t know that a crash is necessarily what we should be focusing on. That is all I’m saying.

I’m getting the impression that we are missing something.

Gail Combs

“….I’m getting the impression that we are missing something…..”

Yes, you are missing the fact that Vanguard, Fidelity… handle PENSIONS AND MUTUAL FUNDS! It is not THEIR MONEY it is ours.

Eons ago I looked at Monsanto.

From my notes back then:

Financial Core of the Transnational Corporate Class notes that the control is much greater than the $$$ would suggest. I figured out how this is done. It is done is via Pension Funds and Mutual Funds. The funds provide the $$$ but the managers VOTE THE STOCK not the owners of the $$$s.

For instance when I looked at Monsanto, most of the stock is owned by Pension Funds and Mutual Funds. For example Divisions of Fidelity held total shares: 39,127,443 or 7.15% The founding Johnson family controls most of Fidelity Edward C Johnson 3rd is chairman of the group and votes that stock.

Vanguard controls 37,496,850 or 5.7%,

Another 6 investment firms like MORGAN STANLEY own between 2 and 5%

So those ten people who vote 42.19% of that stock control Monsanto. AND they do not put up ANY of the money WE DO!

Does that help?

TheseTruths

It is not THEIR MONEY it is ours.

Isn’t that the case with stocks in general, that when you buy shares of stock that is your money, not theirs?

Are you saying that the megacorps that are all intertwined and own so much of the corporate world and control so much of the stock market don’t have a personal stake in what happens with the market?

I think the point of the video is being missed.

Gail Combs

Most of the money in the stock market is invested either via Pension Funds, 401K or mutual funds. Not many people buy stock directly.

So the money is managed/voted by financial institutions. However the financial institutions while in control, are not the source of the money.

This is what I mean:

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

And yes I understand that they are all entangled with each other.

However we are talking about the LOSS of money in a stock market crash and I am say IT IS US and NOT THEM who will loose money because they are gambling WITH OUR MONEY and not theirs… The Cabal has already moved THEIR money to land, gold and other safe havens.

Robert Baker

A crash would be intended to wipe out the retail section and their weaker competitors. All the assets of these two groups would be available at bargain prices which the megacorp would buy and get stronger. Crashes no matter how severe are temporary for these guys. A crash is nothing more than a clearance sale for them and devastation for you.

Gail Combs

A Pointless Republican Primary — American Greatness

….Ramaswamy generally avoids direct challenges to Trump. Unlike the doomed campaigns of Haley and DeSantis, he is playing a different game. Rather than trying to get the establishment’s endorsement as the second-place candidate, he is raising his profile for the future and may secure a slot as Vice President this time around.

I find him likable, not least because he is smart and acts naturally. But one must wonder how much he believes in what he is saying. He is a little “too slick.” Time will tell. But assuming there’s not some skeletons in the closet or some personal acrimony going on behind the scenes, I believe he would be a good choice for Trump’s running mate.

There are extremely worrisome rumors that Trump may pick Haley as a running mate…

From Yale he received a J.D. in 2013.  He first worked for a biotechnology investment banking, Qatalyst Partners, where he worked on mergers and acquisitions in the medical industry.

In 2014, Ramaswamy founded Roivant Sciences, a biopharmaceutical company that aims to develop and commercialize innovative therapies for diseases with high unmet medical needs. His vision for Roivant was to create a decentralized model for drug development that could accelerate the pace of innovation in the medical industry. It was known that under his leadership, Roivant raised more than $3 billion in funding and launched multiple subsidiaries focused on drug development.

Roivant has also launched subsidiary companies focused on drug discovery, drug delivery, and artificial intelligence in drug development. In 2017, Roivant went public…

In 2019, he was named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in Healthcare list. He has also donated millions of dollars to charities, including the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation and the American Civil Liberties Union.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is a nearly 100-year-old left-leaning activism organization focused on issues related to civil liberties. During its history, the ACLU has aligned with the ideological Left, becoming a “hub of liberal activism” which declared its intent to spend $25 million attacking Republican candidates during the 2018 election cycle.

Labor union activist Roger Baldwin and a group of like-minded activist colleagues founded the ACLU in 1920. The ACLU advocated for special government protections specifically for left-leaning demographic and special interest groups such as immigrants, labor unions, LGBT people, the poor, prisoners, and the severely mentally ill.

The ACLU’s main tool is courtroom activism, whereby the organization brings or supports a lawsuit in the hope that a court will find a legal justification for enshrining the ACLU’s position.

Thank you.

Yours Truly will add that VIVEK RAMASWAMY, through his company, ROIVANT, invested $116 Million in 2017 into ARBUTUS BIOPHARMA, the company that developed and patented the original formula for SM-102, the lipid nanoparticle that is one of the ingredients of the MODERNA “flagship” COVID-19 modRNA “vaccine”, mRNA-1273. SM-102 is present in EVERY COVID-19 “vaccine” made by Moderna, INCLUDING the company’s “2023-2024 Formula COVID-19 Vaccine.”
SM-102 is FOR TO BE USED FOR RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY, NOT FOR USE IN HUMAN OR VETERINARY DRUGS OR THERAPEUTICS.
https://cdn.caymanchemical.com/cdn/msds/33474m.pdf
http://www.fda.gov/media/167208/download
This document is related to persons FROM 6 MONTHS THROUGH 11 YEARS OF AGE.
Please see page 34, under 11 DESCRIPTION. SM-102 is listed as an ingredient.
By the way, there is NO VIS (Vaccine Information Statement) for people for this “vaccine” WHO ARE OLDER THAN 11 YEARS OF AGE. ONLY the following CDC Standing Order is available:
http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/info-by-product/moderna/downloads/Standing-Orders-5yrs-older-508.pdf

IMO, VIVEK RAMASWAMY is part of the Big Pharma “empire” — and also, IMO indirectly, responsible for the “vaccine”-induced damage that the MODERNA modRNA COVID-19 “vaccines” does to people, via the use of SM-102 as an ingredient in these “vaccines.”
Did Ramaswamy understand that his company was investing in something that was NOT TO BE USED IN HUMANS? That question MUST be asked AND answered.

DES MOINES, Iowa (WOWT) – Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley is being treated for an infection, his office said Tuesday.

Grassley, 90, is receiving antibiotic infusions at an area hospital. His team says he is “in good spirits” and will return to work when cleared to do so.

PAVACA

Is Sen. Grassley “vaccinated?” If he is, the accumulated negative effects of the “vaccines” in him cannot be discounted in his current situation — even though he is 90 years old and therefore susceptible to infections, etc., simply due to age.

pgroup2

Vancomycin is administered via periodic vein drips from a [usually] portable pump. It is for stubborn infections that do not respond to first choice antibiotics. I do not know if there are any other drip-type antibiotics but I don’t think so.

If he’s getting vanco, his infection is very serious and he is likely in ICU.

Cuppa Covfefe

There are a couple, but their names escape me. One that I took a while back was also available as IV drip for “stubborn” infections… fortunately the tablet was enough, and it was a short course… the packing insert was downright scary, as popped ligaments (or similar) was one of the side effects… the doc I had always liked to throw the strongest stuff possible at infections… I asked for the sensitivity list (i.e. what antibiotics would kill the bug) and a number of “more friendly” pills would have done the trick, including some IV ones…

Usually Amoxycillin would work, but this might have been the + or – which amoxcy didn’t kill…

I REALLY don’t like what the med system has morphed into over here…

Hope and pray Senator Grassley gets well completely and soon, and that there are some MAGA candidates in the wings…

I note that Grassley is being forthcoming about his illness and hospitalization.

is there ANYTHING the current administration won’t lie or cheat about? EV’s in particluar
FTA
It’s hard to think of a worse environmental scandal in recent years than Volkswagen’s 2015 diesel-emissions cheating. The German automaker was rightly pursued by regulators, enforcement agencies and class-action lawyers.

The scandal ended up costing Volkswagen an estimated $33 billion in fines and financial settlements—and revealed that diesel-emissions cheating was endemic. In 2020 Daimler AG made a $1.5 billion settlement over emissions cheating in Mercedes-Benz diesel vehicles. (One of us helped secure that settlement.) Last year engine maker Cummins agreed to pay $1.7 billion to settle claims that it skirted diesel-emissions standards.

In all of these cases, regulators punished carmakers that had cut corners and misled the public. But when it comes to electric cars, the government has a cheating scandal of its own. That scandal, grabbing far fewer headlines, is buried deep in the Federal Register—on page 36,987 of volume 65.

When carmakers test gasoline-powered vehicles for compliance with the Transportation Department’s fuel-efficiency rules, they must use real values measured in a laboratory. By contrast, under an Energy Department rule, carmakers can arbitrarily multiply the efficiency of electric cars by 6.67. This means that although a 2022 Tesla Model Y tests at the equivalent of about 65 miles per gallon in a laboratory (roughly the same as a hybrid), it is counted as having an absurdly high compliance value of 430 mpg. That number has no basis in reality or law.

For exaggerating electric-car efficiency, the government rewards carmakers with compliance credits they can trade for cash. Economists estimate these credits could be worth billions: a vast cross-subsidy invented by bureaucrats and paid for by every person who buys a new gasoline-powered car.

Until recently, this subsidy was a Washington secret. Carmakers and regulators liked it that way. Regulators could announce what sounded like stringent targets, and carmakers would nod along, knowing they could comply by making electric cars with arbitrarily boosted compliance values. Consumers would unknowingly foot the bill.

The secret is out. After environmental groups pointed out the illegality of this charade, the Energy Department proposed eliminating the 6.67 multiplier for electric cars, recognizing that the number “lacks legal support” and has “no basis.”

Carmakers have panicked and asked the Biden administration to delay any return to legal or engineering reality. That is understandable. Without the multiplier, the Transportation Department’s proposed rules are completely unattainable. But workable rules don’t require government-created cheat codes. Carmakers should confront that problem head on.

Cuppa Covfefe

The so-called Dieselgate was not what the YSM/MCM made it out to be. The diesel engines from VW (and Audi, Mercedes, BMW and just about everyone else) performed exactly to spec, which is when you reach highway speed, or continue at the same speed for a certain amount of time, or longer, you reduce the fuel flow and make other adjustments to the mix.

That’s the way it has ALWAYS been done, and the way it’s always been tested.

TPTB just wanted to kill diesels, after Merde-Kuh’s Krew pushed people into driving them because they were better than gasoline cars, etc., etc.

They did the same thing to the German equivalent of the AAA: accusing them of always picking German cars as the best European cars, for example the VW Golf winning for years in a row.

The gubmint forced the management of ADAC to resign, and replaced them with a bunch of Greens and libturds, who immediately started preaching the religion of GAIA and how great electric cars, freight bicycles, and, at worst, train travel were going to be.

And the best cars?

Still the German ones…

Further, independent research has shown that Diesel cars have a smaller CO² “footprint” than either gasoline or electric vehicles, and for the average lifetime of a car (which is getting ever longer since everything is so expensive and no-one has any money to spare), diesels are the most efficient.

Even with the newly crippled motor programs…

My 2008 2.0TDi VW Touran STILL produces less CO² and other fakehouse gasses than the “standards”, measured both by the internal OBDII monitoring and by the sensor stuffed into the exhaust pipe during the TüV and emissions testing. The numbers are lower that those VW posts for that engine. So I think “dieselgate” is just another scam put up by the gangGreens…

I’m reminded of the 2.5µm particulate BS that’s being trotted out again…..

Suzanne Somers’ widower, Alan Hamel, says odd things have been happening in the couple’s Palm Springs, Calif., home since the “Three’s Company” icon passed — and it seems Somers is still with us in spirit.

“Three things happened. The same day, that were very strange,” her devoted husband of nearly 50 years, told us.

First off, “a hummingbird flew into our house and made the rounds in the kitchen, and the living room and the dining room.”

The bird then “hovered” in front of a framed picture of lovebirds Hamel and Somers in their breakfast nook, and even “landed on top and stayed there.”

Hamel even snapped a pic of the bird.

After that, “the fireplace started all by itself,” and “some music came on by Suzanne’s favorite composer.”

Chamber of Commerce are globalists

Talk to the Hand Progs
January 17, 2024 7:54 am

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2024/01/16/chamber-of-commerce-rages-against-trumps-economic-nationalism-the-global-economy-at-risk/

The US CoC needs to be taken out and members Bud-Lited.

United States Chamber of Commerce CEO Suzanne Clark made a veiled attack against former President Donald Trump’s economic nationalist agenda, declaring that tariffs and reshoring America’s manufacturing base threaten the global economy.

[…] A global trend of protectionism, including here in the U.S., puts all of this at risk. To turn inward — to throw up trade barriers, impose tariffs, stop doing trade deals, reactively repatriate supply chains — is to inflict harm on our own economy. It robs our businesses and workers of new opportunities, and it raises prices for every American.

Like the free markets, the global economy is not a zero-sum game. Someone else doesn’t have to lose for us to win. On the contrary — the rise of the rest means new customers, new markets, and new allies, for us.

And a different vision at the end of the article:

Meanwhile, research from the Coalition for a Prosperous America has found that imposing tariffs on all foreign imports would create about 10 million American jobs and generate over $600 billion in new revenue.

MAGA FOR EVER!

The Chamber of Commerce  targeted the Tea Party too.

03/14/2014 05:00 AM EDT

Tea party activists have been waging war for months against the Common Core academic standards. Now, in a coordinated show of muscle, Big Business is fighting back — and notching wins.

The urgent effort stems from a sense among supporters that this is a make-or-break moment for the Common Core, which is under siege all over the country.

A coalition including the Business Roundtable and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce will launch a national advertising blitz Sunday targeted at Republicans skeptical about the standards. Spots promoting the Common Core will air on Fox News and other conservative outlets…

https://www.politico.com/story/2014/03/big-business-takes-on-tea-party-over-common-core-104662

How the Chamber beat the tea party in 2014

After the 2012 election, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s top political adviser, Scott Reed, surveyed the damage – tens of millions of dollars spent only to lose the White House and a slew of winnable Senate races — and vowed that 2014 would be different.

Some $70 million and a Republican wave later, the business lobby, one of the biggest spenders in the midterm elections, is feeling very good about its return on investment. Its conclusion after 2012 — that they had to take on tea party challengers in primaries and create a more business-friendly slate of general election candidates who could compete with Democrats — has been validated by Tuesday night’s results, Chamber brass say.

“We went into this realizing that candidates matter,” Reed said in an interview shortly before the election.

The Chamber ran about 80 ads in about 45 House and Senate districts throughout the election cycle. The group’s stable of ad-makers includes Mike Murphy, a longtime Jeb Bush adviser, and Matt Leonardo.

:wpds_arrow: The group also made some unconventional moves, including enlisting politicians not naturally associated with the Chamber. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗻. 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 (𝗥-𝗞𝘆.) 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀. [🐍SNAKE!!!🕷]

The Chamber, traditionally aligned with Republicans, also endorsed a half-dozen Democrats in House races. One was San Diego-area Rep. Scott Peters, who was declared the winner Friday night in a hard-fought race against Republican Carl DeMaio, a former San Diego city councilman.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

They are very common. However, surgery is the last resort. This cancer is usually very slow growing. There is a looonggg watch and wait time, and then chemo/radiation, and then surgery. But it almost never gets that far.

And Austin would have had a MANDATORY physical by the military YEARLY. For him to be diagnosed with prostate cancer in December, and in surgery in January, is very weird. It would have been found in its early stages many years ago.

“Failed Far Left House Democrats are in absolute desperate free fall that Elise Stefanik continues to be one of the most effective Members of Congress going on offense every single day exposing Democrats and Joe Biden’s corruption and lies. Charlie Kirk
@charliekirk11
A progressive Georgia trial attorney just destroyed all the excuses and the “that’s racist!” bleating from the left over the recent legal filing against Fani Willis and her lover, Nathan Wade. Here’s the truth:

-There are three special prosecutors on Fani’s case. Two are incredibly qualified, while Nathan Wade, her boyfriend, is not.

-The two qualified prosecutors, combined, have earned less than 1/4 what Wade earned, and at least one earned far less per hour as well.

-The only other time Nathan Wade was hired as a “special counsel,” it was for the sake of enabling a coverup: “Nathan Wade admitted that, despite spending five months talking to deputies and investigating the issue, he had failed to keep a single note.”

-Fani repeatedly elongated the legal process so that she could “need” Wade’s help to justify paying him more money. “Willis made choices throughout her prosecution that seem, in hindsight, calculated to require him.”

-If Fani’s relationship with Nathan Wade is confirmed, it will require disqualifying her entire office from the case, making it virtually impossible for the case to be resolved before November.

This scandal is real. The left’s fingerpointing and blame has already begun.

STOP THE PRESSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FINALLY IMPORTANT LEGISLATION IN CONGRESS!!

Bewildered but resilient
January 17, 2024 2:48 pm

Important legislation before the House /s

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/01/rep-ted-lieu-introduces-bill-calling-nationwide-ban/

FTA
Today, Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D-Los Angeles County) introduced the Glue Trap Prohibition Act, a bill to place a national ban on the possession and use of glue traps to catch rodents. Glue traps – boards coated with adhesive used to catch and kill pests – are among the cruelest ways to eliminate rodents. In their attempts to escape the glue, animals may tear off their skin, and some may even gnaw off their own limbs. Animals that do not escape die of blood loss, suffocation, or dehydration. Glue traps also pose a public health risk. The CDC urges Americans not to use glue traps, as ensnared rodents can spread disease.
The traps are already banned in England, Iceland, Ireland, and New Zealand, as well as in over 100 airports across the country. Last year, West Hollywood became the first city in the country to ban glue traps. Congressman Adam Schiff is an original cosponsor of this bill.

para59r

They must of gotten wind of someone planning to use human sized traps around WA DC. What other reason could there be? BTW unensnared rodents left unchecked spread moar disease than ensnared rodents.

Reading Truth and PDJT’s comments about crazy NYDefamation trial #2 and TDS judge -Some observations
1) In Federal district court , thought they changed NY state law to let her sue , but maybe jurisdictional thing
2) BUT the SAME Judge as from first trial – Lewis Kaplan age 79 – how is that fair ?
3) This same Judge wrote after first trial , in motion denying retrial , that HE thought a rape HAD occurred , notwithstanding the Jury finding that it hadn’t and to him it was ‘tantamount to a rape “ even if didn’t fit legal definition – How the hell can he be judge here !
4) odd fact 2004 ,age 60 marries former Ny times reporter – no mention of earlier marriage or children …
And PDJT will get a fair hearing …..pathetic

Gail Combs

Just out of curiosity, NY state CHANGED the law AFTER POTUS Trump’s alleged crime was committed.

WIKI:

An ex post facto law[1] is a law that retroactively changes the legal consequences (or status) of actions that were committed, or relationships that existed, before the enactment of the law. In criminal law, it may criminalize actions that were legal when committed; it may aggravate a crime by bringing it into a more severe category than it was in when it was committed; it may change the punishment prescribed for a crime, as by adding new penalties or extending sentences; 👉it may extend the statute of limitations; or it may alter the rules of evidence in order to make conviction for a crime likelier than it would have been when the deed was committed.

Congress is prohibited from passing ex post facto laws by clause 3 of Article I, Section 9 of the United States Constitution. The states are prohibited from passing ex post facto laws by clause 1 of Article I, Section 10. This is one of the relatively few restrictions that the United States Constitution made to both the power of the federal and state governments before the Fourteenth Amendment.

Over the years, however, when deciding ex post facto cases, the United States Supreme Court has referred repeatedly to its ruling in Calder v. Bull, in which Justice Samuel Chase held that the prohibition applied only to criminal matters, not civil matters, and established four categories of unconstitutional ex post facto laws.[41] The case dealt with the Article I, Section 10, prohibition on ex post facto laws, because it concerned a Connecticut state law….

.

.

.

Finally, in Calder v. Bull, the court expressly stated that a law that “mollifies” a criminal act was merely retrospective, and was not an ex post facto law.[51] Scholars have argued that, as a historical matter, the phrase ex post facto referred to civil as well as criminal laws.[52]

In administrative law, federal agencies may apply their rules retroactively if Congress has authorized them to; otherwise, retroactive application is generally prohibited. Retroactive application of regulations is disfavored by the courts for several reasons. The courts uphold retroactive regulation where Congress has expressly granted such retroactive power to the agency, as they did in Bowen v. Georgetown University Hospital.[53]…

So as usual the Supreme Court F..cked over the citizens.

The True Nolan says:
17 January 2024 at 8:31 pm
Tom Woods writes:
“The World Economic Forum is currently holding its annual meeting in Davos. Argentine president Javier Milei was invited to speak, and did he ever rise to the occasion. Milei delivered his remarks in Spanish, so an interpreter did simultaneous translation. That means the text I’m quoting from is choppy and imperfect, but it’s good enough to give you an idea of what was said. I can share only excerpts, in order to keep this issue at a manageable length, but these excerpts will certainly give you a sense of the speech:”
Javier Milei:
“Good afternoon. Thank you very much. Today I’m here to tell you that the Western world is in danger. And it is endangered because those who are supposed to defend the values of the West are co-opted by a vision of the world that inexorably leads to socialism and thereby to poverty.
Unfortunately, in recent decades, motivated by some well-meaning individuals willing to help others and others motivated by the wish to belong to a privileged caste, the main leaders of the Western world have abandoned the model of freedom for different versions of what we call collectivism. We’re here to tell you that collectivist experiments are never the solution to the problems that afflict the citizens of the world. Rather, they are the root cause….
Given the dismal failure of collectivist models and the undeniable advances in the free world, socialists were forced to change their agenda. They left behind the class struggle based on the economic system, and replaced this with other supposed social conflicts, which are just as harmful to life as a community and to economic growth.
The first of these new battles was the ridiculous and unnatural fight between man and woman…. All that this radical feminism agenda has led to is greater state intervention to hinder the economic process, giving jobs to bureaucrats who have not contributed anything to society. Examples: ministries of women or international organizations devoted to promoting this agenda.
Another conflict introduced by socialists is that of humans against nature, claiming that we human beings damage the planet, which should be protected at all costs, going as far as advocating for population control mechanisms or the bloody abortion agenda.
Unfortunately, these harmful ideas have taken a strong hold in our society. Neo-Marxists have managed to co-opt the common sense of the Western world, and this they have achieved by appropriating the media, culture, universities….
The case of Argentina is an empirical demonstration that no matter how rich you may be or how much you may have in terms of natural resources, or how skilled your population may be or educated, or how many bars of gold you may have in the central bank, if measures are adopted that hinder the free functioning of markets, free competition, free price systems, if you hinder trade, if you attack private property, the only possible fate is poverty….
Today, states don’t need to directly control the means of production to control every aspect of the lives of individuals, with tools such printing money, debt, subsidies, controlling the interest rate, price controls, and regulations to correct so-called market failures. They can control the lives and fates of millions of individuals….
A good deal of the generally accepted political [positions] in most Western countries are collectivist variants, whether they proclaim to be openly communists, fascists, Nazis, socialists, social Democrats, National Socialists, Democrat Christians, or Christian Democrats.
They are neo-Keynesians, progressive, populist, nationalist or globalists at bottom. There are no major differences. They all say that the state should steer all aspects of the lives of individuals. They all defend a model contrary to the one that led humanity to the most spectacular progress in its history.
We have come here today to invite the rest of the countries in the Western world to get back on the path of prosperity, economic freedom, limited government…and unlimited respect for private property….
The impoverishment produced by collectivism is no fantasy, nor is it an inescapable fate. But it’s a reality that we Argentines know very well. We have lived through this. We have been through this because, as I said earlier, ever since we decided to abandon the model of freedom that had made us rich, we have been caught up in a downward spiral, as part of which we are poorer and poorer day by day….
In concluding, I would like to leave a message for all businesspeople here and for those who are not here in person but are following from around the world. Do not be intimidated, either by the political caste or by parasites who live off the state. Do not surrender to a political class that only wants to stay in power and retain its privileges.
You are social benefactors. You are heroes. You’re the creators of the most extraordinary period of prosperity we’ve ever seen. Let no one tell you that your ambition is immoral. If you make money, it’s because you offer a better product at a better price, thereby contributing to general well-being.
Do not surrender to the advance of the state. The state is not the solution. The state is the problem itself. You are the true protagonists of this story and rest assured that as from today, Argentina is your staunch, unconditional ally.”

Gail Combs

Ground Report

I ran into our city’s Clerk at the library as he was checking the absentee voting box next to the book drop off. I didn’t know who he was but he had a city logo on his vehicle & he was unlocking the box so we had a bit of a conversation. There were no ballots in the box at this time for he tipped the inside container forward & I could see inside too.

I complained about the box & said that it promoted fraud. Voting should happen on one day, on paper, & by showing an ID. I mentioned that I’d done absentee voting by mail when I was an out of state student & that there were legit reasons for absentee voting but not by everyone, like elderly, infirm/disabled (though my disabled son, who he apparently knows since he works for our city, vote in person on voting day), military, students, people who won’t be able to vote in person due to schedule conflicts but basically no one else.

He said something about having resisted putting up the box(es?) but it was “the law” & so he had to do it. I mentioned the concept of “color of law” & how in the 2020 election the Secretary of State, Benson, had made all sorts of illegal maneuvers, not lawful as outside of the legislature, that had been part of the Steal.

I mentioned that the voting machines were not secure & were used to cheat. He claimed that our voting machines are not connected to the Internet. The last time I voted those machines were Dominion so I said that there are people on video hacking into such machines from vehicles outside of precincts–to which he had no reply.

I mentioned the mules caught on video & the 2000 Mules production, which I hadn’t seen, just clips on Twitter. He supplied Dinesh D’Souza’s name as the one who had put that together. I mentioned Mike Lindell & all the work he’s doing to expose the many different kinds of fraud.

I said that Trump clearly won 2020, including Michigan before the 400,000 ballots were trucked in in the middle of the night to give the appearance of a Biden victory. My sister-in-law was an Independent vote/count watcher who was there at the TCF Center (Cobo Hall) when that massive fraud took place & she & others were kicked out during the illegal counting (she was a party to one of the lawsuits about this, but I didn’t mention that).

I mentioned Antrim County & how the paper ballots showed that Trump won even though the machines said otherwise.

I mentioned the signature verification issues that have been revealed in Kari Lake’s lawsuit regarding her stolen governorship in Arizona, & how many of the ballots did not have matching signatures & appeared to have been signed by the same person.

He said the Real Way that democrats cheat is in the primaries so I mentioned how Bernie was cheated by Hillary but then Hillary was cheated by Obama too. He said Obama was never on the Michigan primary ballot in 2008 (which I did not know)…

I mentioned the 2000 election & how W won the electoral college but AlGore won the popular vote. But that Nixon won in 1960 but JFK was credited due to the cheating in Chicago, but Nixon was too “classy” to challenge it, unlike Gore. Basically I was not convinced that there hadn’t been cheating going on in elections for a very long time. Also if Democrats were Actually interested in democracy they would be about ensuring that every legit vote counted so that the people could Actually get who they wanted into office.

I ended up shaking his hand & thanking him for doing his best. He claimed that he was a constitutionalist & would ensure that our City had fair elections…I guess we’ll see…

Jamie is a sleazebag decepticon who went before Congress just a week or so ago to act out a pre-planned play acting charade with Sen. Pocahontas Warren, where he said ‘If I was the government, I’d close it down’ regarding Bitcoin and the crypto industry.

“If I was the government, I’d close it down,” he added.

L’Arc de Triumphe 😀

An American tourist in London decides to skip his tour group and explore the city on his own. He wanders around, seeing the sights, and occasionally stopping at a quaint pub to soak up the local culture, chat with the lads, and have a pint of beer.

After awhile, he finds himself in a very high-class neighborhood with big, stately residences—no pubs, no stores, no restaurants, and worst of all, no public restrooms. He really, really has to go, especially after all those beers.

He finds a narrow side street, with high walls surrounding the adjacent buildings and decides to use the wall to solve his problem. As he is unzipping, he is tapped on the shoulder by a London Bobbie, who says, “I say, sir, you simply cannot do that here, you know.”

“I’m very sorry, officer,” replies the American, “but I really, really have to go, and I just can’t find a public restroom.”

“Ah, yes,” said the Bobbie, “just follow me.”

He leads him to a back delivery alley, then along a wall to a gate, which he opens. “In there,” points the Bobbie. “Whiz away, anywhere you want.”

The fellow enters and finds himself in the most beautiful garden he has ever seen. Manicured grass lawns, statuary, fountains, sculptured hedges, and huge beds of gorgeous flowers, all in perfect bloom. Since he has the cop’s blessing, he unburdens himself and is greatly relieved. As he goes back through the gate, he says to the Bobbie,

“That was really decent of you. Is that British hospitality?”

“No,” replied the Bobbie, with a satisfied smile on his face,

“That is the French Embassy.”

Steve Cortes, former senior adviser to Pres. Trump who became a DeSantis supporter, now says we have to unify and support Trump.

Only Trump Can Save America

I believed that Republican voters were ready for a new post-Trump chapter of the America First movement. I now believe I was wrong.

Those of us who backed Ron DeSantis – or the other Republican candidates – should read the room. Former President Trump winnowed the field effortlessly and then crushed the remaining three candidates in Iowa. He leads in the polls everywhere else. It is time to coalesce and unite behind the clear preference of the GOP grassroots, Donald John Trump.

We do not have the luxury of further internal strife and instead must gird for an epic battle this autumn against our opponents who are inflicting daily damage upon America. Any further time, capital, and effort spent attacking the frontrunner, especially with Democratic Party-like talking points, only dilutes the power of our cause as we head toward November.

Why do these patriotic voters rally so overwhelmingly to Trump?…

Okay, good. He has done the right thing, even though it is the thing he practically had to do. Welcome back, Steve Cortes. I welcome your efforts, but there is an asterisk by your name now.

kalbokalbs

Steve Cortes Announces He Took “National Spokesman” Job (Money) From DeSantis PAC, Now Supports Ron DeSantis
May 9, 2023

comment image
[Pictured left, Cortes with fellow grifting scumbags John Cardillo and Matthew Tyrmand (the architect of the Project Veritas attack on O’Keefe) as they attend a pro-Desantis effort earlier this year.]

Former Trump ally Steve Cortes announced today he has taken a job with the Never Back Down PAC that supports Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. As a result, he is reversing all his prior points of advocacy to endorse Ron DeSantis for 2024.

The shallow character of these income chasers is pathetic. However, the Sea Island billionaires are pouring money into the DeSantis camp for exactly this purpose.

The goal of the stop Trump corporate donors is to retain their own financial status; Cortes is simply accepting their money and displaying his own character, nothing more. We said last year, 2024 would be the opportunity to see what prices people put on their allegiances. Today, is just another reveal.

There’s no merit or value in looking at Cortes, other than just to accept his objective – to enrich himself.

Meanwhile back in Florida, Ron DeSantis has separated himself legally from his state political action committee (PAC) Friends of Ron DeSantis, which now creates the mechanism for his remaining $85 million to transfer into the Super PAC ‘Never Back Down’, the same organization that just hired Cortes.”

We Have Committed That 50% of The Class Will Be Women and People of Color” – United Airlines CEO Admits to DEI Quota Because There are too Many White Men Flying Airplanes

Meritocracy is dead.

United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby, in a recent interview, admitted that they are no longer seeking the most qualified candidates to safely transport their passengers on commercial flights.

Instead, Kirby says, “We have committed that 50% of the classes will be women or people of color,” instead of the most qualified individuals they can find.

What could go wrong with putting one’s skin color or gender over safety and competency?
Anti-whiteness appears to be evolving into a trend in the airline industry.

As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier, a source from Delta Airlines has revealed that the company, in a leaked memo, is asking its employees to capitalize the words “Black” and “Brown” but not “White” when describing one’s race.
