I thought I read recently that the flu vaccine was a failure at preventing people from getting the flu.
Maybe the FDA is trying to get around the placebo requirement by not considering this to be a new vaccine.
I’m not excusing them, just trying to figure out the justification because none of it makes sense to me. It’s as if the changes we hear about and expect are completely ignored. And the buck does stop with RFKJ. I’d like to hear his thinking about this.

Based on a quick scan of online articles I’m seeing mNexspike described as “lower dose, a fifth of the dose of the current Spikevax, refines immune target.”
Perhaps that’s the FDA and CDC workaround. Same but less, so no placebo testing required. Rogue indeed.

What’s shocking to me is that they ditched the full spike for two subunits and are getting away with no placebo trial. That change makes this a completely different vaccine, in terms of potential side effects. It could be LESS problematic – but it could be MORE so, too. And it’s still mRNA, which is IMO the source of more problems than full spike was.
IMO they cut a stinky deal, where the vax won’t be recommended for normies without the full trial with placebo, which pretty much guarantees that the vax cannot be mandated by anybody. There is a strong (>>50%, IMO) chance that there will be a slight or modest improvement in terms of side effects by ditching the full protein, but all the mRNA risks are still there. Funding got DROPPED because of mRNA, but the vax is allowed to go forward for risky patients, which is politically OK but scientifically sketchy (but that sketchiness is based on suppressed science, not yet “out” because the RFKJ journals fix isn’t working yet).
Complicated business.

Your point about marketing on “less vaccine”, however, is (IMO) very true. They have to be careful about how they say it – they can’t come out and say that “more” was bad – just that “less” is better!

IMO, BOTH Dr. Martin Makary (new FDA Commissioner) AND Dr. Jay Bhattacharya (new head of the FDA’s CBER division, the division that “evaluates” new drugs/injectables) were most likely involved in the FDA’S decision to approve mRNA-1283.
IMO, this would mean that BOTH of them knew that mRNA-1283 was going to be approved BACK ON 27 MAY, WHEN THEY DID THAT “KABUKI THEATER PERFORMANCE” WITH SECRETARY KENNEDY, JR.

Russia has taken some hits the last couple of days. Two bridges were blown up by infiltrators, first was a rail line passing over a road, goods train wrecked. Second was a road passing over a rail line, blew the bridge as a passenger train was going through.
A road container wagon presumably driven into Russia was used to launch drones then set on fire. Several air bases hit, seems many aircraft may have been destroyed or damaged. One of the airbases was around 2/3 of the way into Russia going eastward.
Would not like to be the one whoever let that wagon through unchecked.

What EXACTLY is in this “new COVID-19 vaccine”? — What elements of the Omicron mutation lineage? What elements of the H7N9 Avian Influenza virus? What is the EXACT makeup of the “23-acid hemagglutintin” chain from “the influenza virus” that is in mRNA-1283? What EXACT ingredients make this a potential saRNA “vaccine”?
I’m seriously considering not taking any vaccine with SPIKE or ‘mRNA’ in the name.

Self-amplifying means the spike protein in the “vaccine” will stay in the body of the “vaccinated” person and create “xerox copies” of itself permanently.
So one must ask. Is this “amplifier” working under negative or positive feedback?
The former answer means it will kill less quickly.

It appears that “positive-sense” RNA is used. These are called “alphaviruses.” There already are saRNA “vaccines” that use alphavirurses. One is ARCT-154, also called KOSTAIVE, which combines elements of the SARS-CoV-2 virus with the VEEV virus (Venezuelan Equine Encephalitis Virus). KOSTAIVE has been approved for use in the EU / Scandinavia and in Japan. A version of this “vaccine” is being tested for possible use in the United States.

Sasha Latypova is going to do FOIA on the FDA to find out EXACTLY if mRNA-1283 is self-amplifying RNA (saRNA.)
Better make sure the FOIA has specific language to include everything they have in ‘Prohibited Access’, because that’s where they hide everything that actually matters.

I’m guessing delayed grief will also hit me about my mother’s death. I’ve been running on adrenaline for the last 3 weeks with non-stop “chaos” since Mother’s Day weekend, with Josiah’s procedure on May 12, Mom’s death on May 16, Josiah’s 70% chance of death in 2 days on May 20, then funeral related events May 28-30 (Josiah & I back from the hospital a few days before all that). We are so worn out in my home right now & haven’t Really had time to process all that upheaval & grief. In person interactions over that 3 week period might be more typical for me over the course of a Year not just part of a month–yikes!
God will be getting us both through the sorrow, pain, & weariness. In Jesus’ Love 
I’m just including the basic outline of what happened between Mom & Josiah here, as I’m still processing things & I’m guessing that You, in particular, might understand…
5/11 Mother’s Day, parents wanted to come over to celebrate with our extended family but Mom was having another bad day. We stopped by with food & gifts, the last time I saw my mother alive
Mom’s last time with most Currens was Easter…
My mom’s final week, 5 am fall on 5/12 (Dad’s B-day) in bedroom, EMTs to get her off the floor & then to ER. She hit her head twice & required staples & a stitch on her scalp. Daughter Clarissa spent an hour cleaning blood off their bedroom floor & another hour cleaning blood out of her grandma’s clothing–last time she saw her grandma alive
5/12 10 am Josiah’s endoscopic procedure started
5/13 2am Josiah to ER w/ complications, Acute (later Severe) Pancreatitis; 17 hours in ER
5/13 late J to 5th floor hospital room w/ roommate (we were told he’d be alone due to risk of infection)–only 2 hours there
5/14 very early, J to isolation room on 7th floor as he tested positive for Metapneumovirus & they put him in isolation to protect others “now”, droplet precautions; 36 hours this room
5/13-5/15 Mom fell 2 other times, once on the floor for 5 hours, fell asleep in exhaustion
5/15 J transferred to airlock isolation room on 6th floor, still droplet precautions, needed “cardiac telemetry” due to electrolyte imbalance.
5/15 afternoon EMT son Brandon evaluates Mom with problematic vitals, facts in writing for Dad to use as he contemplates what to do.
5/15 evening Dad & little bro tour assisted living facility, earliest they can take Mom is 5/20; later Mom unresponsive & taken by Ambulance back to ER, vitals stabilized
5/15-5/16 numerous calls, texts (using Josiah’s cell phone), & email to set up & then eventually cancel the 5/16 am meeting with Visiting Angels homecare who could conceivably start as early as 5/17 in parents’ home
5/16 early morning Mom is diagnosed with perforated bowel, septic shock, & early stage multi-organ failure, 2 options dangerous surgery with at best 20% “success” rate, comfort care to death–comfort route is chosen. She won’t live through the day…
5/16 10:15 am Mom dies, I’m originally on Josiah’s cell as decisions are being debated but his battery dies; I’m on a house phone in elevator alcove when they take mom off the Ventilator & stop IV support meds that stabilized her. On daughter’s cell for final 15 minutes of Mom’s life, in small “waiting room” just Clarissa, 2 yo Lillian, & me in the girl’s room. Dad, my little brother Mike, & my EMT son Brandon in Mom’s death room.
5/16 afternoon Nathaniel & Brandon come to visit Josiah a U of M Hospital & join Clarissa, Lillian, & I. We end up laughing & crying together over Mom. I’m up more than 36 hours before crashing asleep in chair for an hour or so before the drive home.
5/16 late I return home to assist with funeral etc. duties, 1st time home since J’s ER run
5/17 Dad, Hubby Michael, little brother Mike, & I make arrangements at funeral home
5/18-5/19 I’m still at home & doing huge amounts of communication, barely sleeping, trying to get as much death related responsibilities handled before back to hospital for duration of J’s stay
5/19 late, after dinner, back with Josiah at the hospital, he’s done pretty well considering
5/20 2 am team of doctors & staff gather around J’s bed trying to convince him to accept blood products because he has a GI bleed & his red cell count, which should be 12 went from 7 to 5.8 to 5.4. They say 70% chance he dies in 2 days if no blood. At some point they did a CT scan & later a repeat ERCP (same procedure that kicked off the pancreatitis) to try to localize bleeding source, which is never found.
5/20 as first of 2 units of blood is given they transfer J to the 6th floor ICU & he gets second unit of blood (he was on the 5th floor ICU post Liver Transplant 2013)
5/21 further procedures are debated but as the red cell count was climbing into the 8s they take a wait & see approach
5/23 ultimately J is sent home from ICU, he’s very pale, tired w/ lots of sleeping, & weak
5/24-5/26 Michael & Brandon Up North, via hunting shacks, to check on storm damage, then to parents’ Cottage to repair storm damage. Clarissa & Lillian help w/ yard work. They wanted the Cottage ready for whenever Dad is ready to head North to Mom’s grave
5/23-5/27 J & I completely exhausted, I resume death related duties
5/28 evening funeral home visitation
5/29 afternoon/evening gathering of family & my Godmother at little brother’s lake house
5/30 funeral at parents’ church, both legs of trip in Detroit rush hour as it’s all that long
5/30 we drive Dad home from funeral & handle the floral situation between 3 households
I’m so thankful for the many prayers that helped sustain me/us through these challenges!
