My older brother, Sam, circa 1960 – 1961, dressed to perform in a school band concert:

My older brother, Sam, December 2021:

My older brother, Sam, early summer 2024, after his having taken at least five injections of a COVID-19 “vaccine”, beginning in early 2021:

Requiescat in Pace aeterna, frater mi. Lux perpetua tibi luceat.
My older brother, Sam: 24 November 1948 – 29 October 2024.
Health Friday is a series devoted to Big Pharma, vaccines, general health, and associated topics. Today’s offering is dedicated to all persons, of whatever age or location, who have passed away from the negative effects of the COVID-19 “vaccines” that they had injected into their body. May they rest in eternal Peace.
There are Important Notifications from our host, Wolf Moon; the Rules of our late, good Wheatie;, and, certain caveats from Yours Truly, of which readers should be aware. They are linked here. Note: Yours Truly has checked today’s offering for AI-generated content. To the best of her knowledge and belief, there is none, except perhaps for AI-generated images within URL links. If readers wish to add AI-generated content to today’s discussion thread, they must cite their source. Thank you.
————————————————————
My older brother, Sam, passed away on 29 October 2024. He was only 75 years old. He had taken at least five (possibly, six) injections of COVID-19 “vaccines”, starting in early 2021. His last “vaccine” injection was taken around Thanksgiving of 2023, although he may have been given yet another shot while he was residing in a nursing home in the early fall of 2024. Yours Truly has written for this board regarding the health decline of Sam after he took the COVID-19 “vaccine” shot in November 2023: please see https://www.theqtree.com/2024/10/18/health-friday-10-18-2024-special-edition-neurological-effects-of-the-covid-19-vaccines-physical-and-psychological/; and, https://www.theqtree.com/2025/07/25/health-friday-7-25-2025-open-thread-more-on-the-covid-19-vaccines-and-what-they-do-to-the-brain/. Within the period of fewer than six months after his taking that COVID-19 “vaccine” shot in November 2023, my brother had lost interest in things he had once enjoyed, such as helping out with his grandchildren; had stopped going to church; had a “freak accident” in which he wrecked his car and then decided not to drive again; had lost interest in taking care of himself and eating properly; and so on. Then, there was the catastrophic fall he sustained in his home in early July 2023; then, to two weeks in the ICU; then, to be being discharged to a nursing home; then, to the diagnosis of “sudden-onset dementia” at that facility; then, to his losing the ability to walk and becoming bed-bound; then, to his contracting pneumonia in late October 2023 at this facility; then, to his death.
My brother had co-morbidities that complicated his health profile: among them, COPD from decades of smoking (he quit in 2010 after that diagnosis and was treated); and, prostate cancer (diagnosed and treated in 2019.) He had lost his wife in the October 2018, just shy of their 47th wedding anniversary; she passed away from an undiagnosed aneurysm that ruptured. He had spent several years after her death taking counseling and medications, which assisted in his processing of this tragedy.
What ultimately happened with my brother was despite the fact that he had “good longevity genes” in his makeup — there were multiple older members on both sides of our birth family who had lived well beyond their 80th, and even their 90th, birthdays. What happened with my brother was also despite the fact that he had made it a point of taking better care of his health since the diagnosis of COPD in 2010. While it is not possible for Yours Truly to state this definitively, I will say I firmly believe that it was the ingredients and mechanisms of the COVID-19 “vaccines” that Sam took which, over time and incrementally, compromised his brain — cognitively and emotionally — with terrible consequences. I firmly believe that it was the COVID-19 “vaccine” injection that my brother took at Thanksgiving 2023 which was the “straw that broke the camel’s back” for him.
However, even before my brother passed away, Yours Truly’s cousin Bill died in September 2023, a “died suddenly and unexpectedly” situation. Cousin Bill had also had taken COVID-19 “vaccines”, starting in 2021. By early 2022, this previously-healthy, active man had been diagnosed with cardiac problems and was undergoing treatment. According to what I understand of the issue, he was “doing well” in treatment. I am also more than fairly certain that my cousin Bill continued to take COVID-19 “booster vaccine” injections, likely based on the recommendations of his doctors. And then, September 2023 happened. Cousin Bill’s death was the first close-family death of the COVID-19 era for Yours Truly. To say that his death was hard for me is an understatement. I have good memories of cousin Bill. His father had passed away in 1993; his mother had passed away in 2017. They did not have to deal with the death of their son.
To say that the passing away of my own brother was devastating to Yours Truly is an understatement of Malthusian proportions. His death has shaken me down to my core. The last time I spoke to him (by phone) was twelve days before his death. It was heartbreaking and gut-wrenching to hear him fighting the “sudden-onset dementia” that had closed in on his brain. To know that he would never leave the nursing home, go back to his house and his nice old dog, go and be with his adult children and his grandchildren. To hear him tell me to send him books on the Civil War or World War II so he could “brush up” on his reading (the truth was, that by this time, he couldn’t read more than one or two sentences from anything.) To know that what had happened to him was so senseless, so incredibly senseless. It was (and still is) heartbreaking to go through the “what-if?” scenarios in my head — What if he had listened to me when I tried to warn him about the dangers of the COVID-19 “vaccines”, and refused to take any more of those injections? What if he had taken Ivermectin to try and clear out at least some of the COVID-19 “vaccine”-induced damage to his body and mind? What if the ingredients and mechanisms of the COVID-19 “vaccines” Sam took aggravated the lung damage from his COPD? What if the ingredients and mechanisms of the COVID-19 “vaccines” he took aggravated or re-established any emotional / psychological issues still lingering after the death of his beloved wife? What if? What if? Our mother had passed away in 1992; our father, in 2006. They did not have to deal with the death of Sam.
Yours Truly is not writing the above in order to solicit sympathy. I am writing the above to illustrate the kinds of things that went on — that are going on now — and, that will go on — in millions of families when the damage induced by the COVID-19 “vaccines” that were taken by family members starts to present (and the damaging effects that have started to present already.) It is all well and good to have a general “working knowledge” of the negative effects these “vaccines” (Bioweapon Toxin Injections) can, and do, induce in those who take them. It is quite another thing to lose close family members due to the negative effects of these “vaccines” that they took. It is quite another thing to have to deal with the knowledge that loved ones in the “here and now” who are COVID-19 “vaccinated” have had their bodies and brains damaged from these “vaccines.” It is quite another thing to listen to them tell those who try to warn them that they aren’t interested — that they “follow the science”; that they “trust their doctor”; among other responses.
Yours Truly will therefore say to those reading today’s offering who have taken COVID-19 “vaccines”:
**** The COVID-19 “vaccines” in your body have already damaged your natural immune system, perhaps even destroyed it: https://jessicar.substack.com/p/the-bnt162b2-mrna-vaccine-against, “‘The BNT162b2 mRNA vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 reprograms both adaptive and innate immune responses”, 16 December 2021. Please see the screenshot of Figure 2 from this paper, below:

It is a mistake to dismiss the above paper and its conclusions “because it’s from South Korea.” The modRNA COVID-19 “vaccines” used in South Korea that are examined for the above paper are the same as those used in the United States (COMIRNATY, by Pfizer-BioNTech; and, SPIKEVAX, by Moderna.)
**** The COVID-19 “vaccines” in your body will alter your DNA and change your body’s genomic codes. Then, from the Conclusions section of the paper:

These are the COVID-19 “vaccines” that you allowed to be injected into your body.
These are the COVID-19 “vaccines” that you allowed to be injected into the bodies of your children.
And why did you allow these unproven-technology, not-completely tested, “vaccines” to be put into your body, and into the bodies of your children? Because you “trusted the science“; because you “trusted your doctor“; because you were told that “it was the right thing to do“; because you were told that the COVID-19 “vaccines” were “safe and effective“; because you were told that the “the known and potential benefits of the COVID-19 vaccines outweigh the known and potential risks”; because you were told to “get COVID-19 vaccinated in order to keep yourself, your children, and your parents, safe“; because were you told “get COVID-19 vaccinated in order to keep your job, in order to travel, in order to go to school.” You were lied to. Every step of the way. Lied to by the government — by the CDC and the FDA — by your doctors — by your employer — by your school. They are continuing to lie to you.

Yours Truly has questions for those reading today’s offering who are COVID-19 “vaccinated”:
**** What are you going to do to try and mitigate the damage that these injections have done to your body and brain? To the bodies and brains of your children?
**** What are you going to do to educate yourself regarding how dangerous and deadly these injections are?
**** Do you plan to challenge and question any “recommendation” or “mandate” to have yourself and/or your children injected with more COVID-19 “vaccine” shots?
**** Do you plan to at least think about refusing to take any more COVID-19 “vaccines”, and to think about refusing COVID-19 “vaccines” being injected into your children?

For those medical professionals who are COVID-19 “vaccinated”, Yours Truly has extra questions, below. These are based on my 5 1/2+ years of being an independent COVID-19 researcher and writer:
**** With all due respect: Have you recognized that the modRNA COVID-19 “vaccines” induce multiple types of serious adverse events, medical conditions, and can also kill? Have you read this report?: https://phmpt.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/5.3.6-postmarketing-experience.pdf, 5.3.6 CUMULATIVE ANALYSIS OF POST-AUTHORIZATION ADVERSE EVENT REPORTS OF PF-07302048 (BNT162B2) RECEIVED THROUGH 28-FEB-2021, FDA time-stamped on 30 April 2021 09:26 (GMT).
**** With all due respect: Do you understand, that since you are COVID-19 “vaccinated”, there is a strong likelihood that you have also had negative effects induced from these “vaccines”?
**** With all due respect: Why are you still recommending and/or administering these “vaccines”, given the above evidence of damage and death induced by these injectables? Did you perform your own research into the COVID-19 “vaccines” to satisfy yourself that the CDC / FDA claims of “safe and effective” regarding these injectables were / are, true? And, with all due respect, before there are objections to what Yours Truly is writing, please see these websites, by medical doctors, who have actually investigated the COVID-19 “vaccines” and know how dangerous and deadly they are : https://www.thefocalpoints.com/ (Dr. Peter A. McCullough, MD, MPH); https://pierrekorymedicalmusings.com/ (Dr. Pierre Kory, MD, MPA, Certified Tribal Practitioner); https://doctors4covidethics.org/ (Dr. Michael Palmer, MD, Dr. Sucharit Bhakdi, MD); https://imahealth.org/ (Dr. Joseph Varon, MD, FCCM, FCCP).
**** With all due respect: Why are you not demanding that your employer; your State Medical Licensing Board; your medical professional organization; your Medical Specialty Credentialing organization; the CDC, FDA, AMA — impartially investigate the mounting evidence that the modRNA COVID-19 “vaccines” are dangerous and deadly? Do you, perhaps, have concerns about “retribution” from these entities by doing so?
————————————————–
Yours Truly will remember the echoes of my older brother, Sam, before he started taking COVID-19 “vaccines.” I will remember the echoes of my Cousin Bill before he “died suddenly and unexpectedly.” The pain and the sense of loss from their deaths will never completely go away, since the human mind stores everything in the subconscious and the memory. One can only integrate the pain and the sense of loss into their own being in the healthiest way possible while moving onward.
And, in memory of those who have passed away from the negative effects of the COVID-19 “vaccines” that they took, “The Lark Ascending”, by Ralph Vaughan Williams: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZR2JIDnT218&list=RDZRJIDnT218&start_radio=1
The COVID-19 “vaccines” — ALL OF THEM — MUST be removed from the market and from use. NOW.
THERE. MUST. BE. ACCOUNTABILITY.
THERE. MUST. BE. JUSTICE.
THERE. MUST. BE. TRUTH.

American Medicine will begin to heal after a whole bunch of people are hanged…..and not until.
At this point, I think you’re right, Coothie. Plus all the public health agencies need to be completely overhauled or flushed entirely. And the drug companies need to be gotten under control. I don’t have a lot of hope that any of that will happen, but it needs to be done.
Agree!
Coothie
A whole bunch of organizations have to be dismantled / removed:
CDC
FDA
AMA
ABIM (American Board of Internal Medicine — private, self-appointed medical credentialing board)
every single one of the professional medical associations listed here:
https://www.ama-assn.org/house-delegates/hod-organization/member-organizations-ama-house-delegates
**** every single one of the private, self-appointed medical credentialing organizations listed here (American Board of Medical Specialties):
https://www.abms.org/member-boards/specialty-subspecialty-certificates/
KEY WORDS private, self-appointed
Gail Combs
Correct, private, self-appointed.
However, here’s the thing:
These private, self-appointed organizations have wormed their way into what can be called “backroom unholy partnerships” with Establishment Medicine / the AMA / medical schools — to the point where, currently, ANY physician who wants to “get ahead” in the profession (starting with their time in Residency) — needs to get “board certified” in at least one “medical specialty” or “medical sub-specialty.”
And, with that “board certification” in hand, the physician can then command top job offerings along with the TOP SALARIES that come with these jobs — thereby doing two things: One, “establishing their credentials” in the medical world; and, Two, paying off the crushing loans that they had to take out to go through medical school and Residency.
HOWEVER, that same “board certification” in hand ALSO comes with other things, such as:
Obedience to the diktats of the board certification organization;
Requirements to renew the board certification;
Loss of independent thinking regarding treatments, use of repurposed drugs, etc.
You say that like it would be a bad thing…….
JUST IN: President Trump Calls on Senate to Initiate “Nuclear Option” and Get Rid of Filibuster
Good. I agree. The wicked, reckless, insane Dems have brought this upon themselves.
It has not been lost on me, that after every victory in the courts giving or returning power to the presidency, and similar things, that if we ever lose the WH again, whatever demon-devil rat gets in there, will be an unstoppable tyrant with only one solution.
And now we are removing the ability for the Senate to stop the WH.
It’s all great while DJT is in office, but if or when the tables are ever turned, it’s game over.
With so much power concentrated in the presidency, a corrupt judiciary, and a powerless (and corrupt) Congress, we’re cooked.
Imagine if Hussein or Bubba had enjoyed so much concentrated power, affirmed by the courts, and no filibuster to worry about.
But it doesn’t matter, it’s balls to the wall, because the insane Left didn’t leave us any other choice.
So, enjoy it while it lasts, I guess.
I share your concerns, but you can’t act emasculated after 30 years of abuse or you’ll just stay abused.
Cannonball it 👍
.
Agreed.
And as to removing the filibuster:
NO.
I don’t know that we really have an option anymore.
Based on how they have acted since Hussein, and how they are acting even right now, if they ever get back in power, we might as well all be dead.
So crushing them so completely, making them pariahs like the modern day Nazis they are, so that they can’t reconstitute for ~100 years, is the best we can do.
And hope that by the time a hundred years has passed, so has their moment, never to return, like the Whigs.
Shitcan the filibuster.
Shitcan the “blue slip” stopping judicial nominations.
Thune and the R-Cons need to act like they got a pair – LEAD.
Not whine like little girls about the evil Dumrats. Though, Dumrats ARE evil.
the repubs do not know how to lead. they know how to whine about not being able to lead though. they excel at that. “the dems are in control now so we can’t…” “if we were in control, we’d be unstoppable, but we’re not…”
It takes SIXTY VOTES it also takes sixty to re-open the government.

Thank you for this recap of what they did to your brother, and why we must redouble our resolve to NEVER take these nasty shots.
Wolf Moon
What happened to my brother is only one example of what the COVID-19 “vaccines” do to anyone who has them in their body.
What must happen now is total removal of these “vaccines”—keeping only some unused vials UNDER LOCK AND KEY by HHS Sec. Kennedy, Jr., in order to have the contents completely analyzed BY AN INDEPENDENT OUTSIDE ENTITY—NOT BY THE NIH/NIAID/FDA.
Followed by arrests.
Then by tribunals.
Then by Justice.
Then by

It looks like, far from souring on Israel, Charlie Kirk was actually advising Israel on how to win hearts and minds on American campuses. The article on NewsMax is truly eye-opening.
Charlie Kirk was a Bible-believing Christian, if I’m right in my assessment of him. As such, it would be hard for him to “turn on” Israel. My reading of the Old and New Testaments tells me that “adoption” into the tribe of Judah meant you were a Jew, period. If that is true, then anyone who is “Jewish” is of the tribe of Judah, and therefor to be accepted as such. Which of course leads me to Genesis 12:3 and Numbers 24:9. And Revelation.
This is what I think many are missing with the argument that the “current” Jews aren’t the “bloodline” tribe of Judah. Biblically, it literally does not matter. The stories of Ruth and Caleb demonstrate this.
I have to admit, I don’t understand why anyone would “choose” to belong to this group of persecuted people. But they have, and they ARE modern Israel. Curse them at your peril.
Unfortunately, the only way to win the hearts and minds of the “younger” generations is by claiming victimhood. Their whole worldview has been warped into “oppressed” and “oppressor.”
Strength used to be a virtue, now they call it an offense.

More on my Linux media server project, with a side note about how things tend to spawn sub-projects…..
As we previously left young cthulhu, he had loaded about 3T of random video onto the media server, having started (through practice) getting a handle on how things needed to be organized to show properly. A substantial amount of previously loaded stuff (at 30 minutes per show) needs to be reshuffled (at 5 minutes a shuffle), but things are slowly taking shape.
It has been gone through “proof of concept” on the semi-secure home wireless network and is displaying on The Fiancee’s Roku boxes. To get there, I initially loaded everything from the semi-secure parent wired network, plugged-in a wireless adapter, then unplugged the cable.
One problem that I have had previously (being that I live on the more secure wired network) is that wireless network connections are leased, not bought. That means your wireless router will drop them if they go inactive. While easy in concept — and it’s going to look nice at the end — this gets a little hairy.
One begins by writing nudzh, using the “ping” command. If you go to “man ping”, you can get the online manual for the command. I found that I was interested in the -c and -I (that’s a capital “i”) options for count and interface. I fiddled around with it and found that “ping -c 3 -I enp6s0 192.168.0.1” [I got the magic “enp6s0” from the “ip a” command showing network interfaces. You’d want to use your wireless interface {this is a wired one}.][192.168.0.1 is the address of the router] got me what I wanted. It responds with
Next, I want to make this a system command. To do this, I want a text file in a good place, so I type “echo $PATH” and get “/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games:/usr/local/games:/snap/bin”. This is simply a list of the various locations that Linux checks where commands live. As you might guess, you can modify this list — but, as it turns out, /usr/local/bin is a good place to put your custom commands.
You will note that your own directory is not available as a place from which to execute commands — this is a safety feature. Additionally, you cannot just edit files in /usr/local/bin — this is also a safety feature. Instead, you can go “sudo nano nudzh” in /usr/local/bin and edit like a boss. Just paste your ping statement in there, then hit ctrl-x to save and exit. While sudo is still active, you can then use “sudo chmod +x nudzh” to make the file executable.
You can then go back to your home directory and make sure that “nudzh” works as a command.
From here, you’ll want to run “nudzh” every four to six hours so your wifi never forgets the wifi connection to your server.
As per usual in Linux, there’s the time-honored way of doing this, with cron, and the new way of doing this with systemd timers. I’ll go over how I do it in my next episode.
Note that people wanting to have an interface where they can do browsing with Brave and spreadsheets and word processing with LibreOffice never have to concern themselves with ANY of this. I’m hooking up a media server to do online video throughout my house across multiple networks….this is not normal. OTOH, Linux works with me by letting me build things with configured pieces and having human-readable configuration files (even if a bit scattered).
Dude, speaking of, UNDERSTATEMENTS…
“…this is not normal.”

I realized that something was going to be confusing, even though it hasn’t yet been a big deal, so I figured I’d do a bit of prep.
Internet addresses are typically given as four numbers (IP4) from 0 to 255, separated by periods. An example would be 194.32.107.12, which is the IP address for theqtree.com. Routers can then take external WAN (“Wide Area Network”) IP addresses (usually one) and connect them to several internal IP addresses through NAT (“Network Address Translation”). These, then, end up as LAN (“Local Area Network”) addresses.
There are a few LAN addresses that are “sticky” and stay on the LAN, rather than seeking a match in in the great wide WAN world…..192.168.x.x is one typically used by commercial routers. The router typically reserves 192.168.0.1 for itself, 192.168.0.2-99 for servers that don’t move, and 192.168.0.100-250 to whoever logs into the network. This would be fine for the 192.168.0.x subnet and works for a couple of dozen servers and 50+ visitors.
You can open up 192.168.1.x to this group and opt to allow the zeroes and ones to see each other or not. If you open up the full 192.168.x.x, you can have hundreds of fixed servers and hundreds of dynamically allocated devices at the same time.
Furthermore, you can have more than one network connection use 192.168.0.x — remember, that only makes it sticky so that it doesn’t go to the internet. Each router connection can manage its own 192.168.0.x. Mind you, if you’re trying to make an easily maintainable straightforward bunch of networks, you could use 10.x.x.x instead of 192.168.0.x and instantly know where you were and who you were dealing with….but if you’re a nasty person you could have three wireless networks in the same household on routers sidewinder, copperhead, and rattlesnake that were all using 192.168.0.x……
For the media server, it has already been assigned a stationary 192.168.0.(5-95) address on the same wireless network as the Roku boxes from the particular wireless adapter, and it’s happy with that.

“We will do everything we can to prevent DC families from going hungry.”
______________
Then vote to open the government.
That’s all ya gotta do, dawg.
And btw, nobody — not one person on planet earth, not even your Mom — believes you give a rat’s ass about DC families.
Where are the families of the snap people or their churches?
I do not understand that because families when I grew up took care of their people so did churches red cross was their also. Friends neighbors helped out in emergency crickets now.

NEW:
Woman who purposely plowed into an NYPD officer because she wanted to teach him a “lesson,” sentenced to just two years in prison.
25-year-old Sahara Dula admitted to investigators that she purposely struck Officer Ruchiran Dias because “he wouldn’t move.” “I told the cop I wanted to go straight, and he wouldn’t move, so I hit him. I did it on purpose,” Dula said to investigators at the time.
“F**k these cops! He wouldn’t move! F**k these cops, it’s a lesson to him, and hopefully he doesn’t want to be a cop anymore.”
Despite the fact that Dias could have been k*lled, Dula was sentenced to just two years in prison.
“The sentence is not nearly enough. This individual tried to run down a New York City police officer. She could have k*lled him,” said PBA President Patrick Hendry. Dula was sentenced by Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Melissa T. Lewis.

Isn’t that a civil rights violation? 18 USC 241?
the fact that she freely admits she ran him down…and that she felt entitled to do so because SHE wanted to go straight…speaks volumes.
We see the destruction of our society in our time. So sad and unbelievable.
Agree

And now can that officer SUE THE SHIT out of the bitch for purposefully injuring him.
(Even if he can’t he should file the lawsuit anyway.)
GOOD! Hope he does!

If a white man had done that, he would have been shot during the act.
If the white man survived being shot, he would get 20+ years for attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, using a vehicle as a deadly weapon.
But double-protected class members get 2 years, probably out in 6 months for good behavior.
Even if they’re not good.
Which they won’t be, because they don’t know how.
They’ve never done it before.

NEW: LA firefighters were told to abandon a smoldering blaze that later reignited as the deadly Palisades fire, according to text messages.
The LA Times reports that firefighters alerted a battalion chief that the Lachman fire was still smoldering. Despite their concerns, the firefighters were ordered to pack up and leave the area.
According to federal authorities, the fire reignited, which in turn destroyed thousands of homes and took the lives of 12 people. People need to be thrown in prison for this.

I personally think it is time for people to start ignoring “orders” when they know they are right and the “orderer” is full of shit.
They ALWAYS should. You may get fired (I was) and even blackballed, but you can sleep at night.
If MORE people would act with honor, companies would not EXPECT dishonorable conduct.
This BTW is a very good reason to get rid of H1B and other work visas.
AMEN.
Thank you, Pavaca!!! Very well written! Hard to believe anyone still thinks that there is any “good” involved with C-19 vaxes.

1 in 5 workers in a bonded warehouse was illegal.
FTA
The discovery that 22% of the workforce lacked legal status is a glaring sign of systemic failure—not only at the border but within corporate America. These aren’t random day laborers or off-the-books contractors; they’re individuals working inside a restricted federal trade zone, where background checks and customs documentation should be standard. For such a facility to become infiltrated by illegal aliens suggests negligence—or willful ignorance—at multiple levels of management.
DHS officials said the arrests followed a months-long investigation prompted by tips and irregularities in employment verification forms. The detained individuals reportedly come from several Latin American countries and had been employed under falsified identities. While federal authorities have not yet charged the company itself, sources indicate that the employer may face fines or even criminal liability if it knowingly hired ineligible workers.
The revelation touches a raw nerve in a nation already reeling from a historic border crisis. Since 2021, millions of migrants have crossed the southern border illegally, overwhelming processing facilities and stretching federal enforcement thin. Many of those released into the country under various “catch and release” or parole programs later vanish into states like New Jersey, where labor shortages and lax enforcement create fertile ground for illegal employment.
The irony, of course, is that these facilities are supposed to be among the most secure in the country. Yet under the Biden administration’s failed immigration policies, “secure” had become a meaningless term. The same federal government that can track Americans’ financial transactions, phone calls, and political donations somehow can’t—or won’t—keep track of who is working inside bonded trade zones under federal jurisdiction.

The stupidity of hiring contractors to do customs.
Amazing that TSA isn’t. Notwithstanding the silliness of TSA, national security must require fed employees. 😡
you would think!
Especially as going long periods without eating might cause them to pass out of faint on the job…
(but yep, bonded warehouses are a serious thing where you want employees with a little (or a lot) bit of skin in the game… I was responsible for the IT part of our bonded warehouse here in Europe, and we’d get inspectors from the various gubmint authorities coming in, code walkthroughs to be sure all the rules were implemented, being followed and processes followed… it was *cough* a lot of fun… and then COCOM…. don’t want those fast bits going to the wrong places…)…..

✟
“Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.”
Luke 6:28 (KJV)
COMMENTARY FOR LUKE 6
“The disciples pluck corn on the sabbath. (1-5) Works of mercy suitable to the sabbath day. (6-11) The apostles chosen. (12-19) Blessings and woes declared. (20-26) Christ exhorts to mercy. (27-36) And to justice and sincerity.” (37-49)
(27-36) “These are hard lessons to flesh and blood. But if we are thoroughly grounded in the faith of Christ’s love, this will make his commands easy to us. Every one that comes to him for washing in his blood, and knows the greatness of the mercy and the love there is in him, can say, in truth and sincerity, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? Let us then aim to be merciful, even according to the mercy of our heavenly Father to us.”
Commentary by Matthew Henry, 1710.

Verse of the Day – October 31, 2025 (Morning Prayer)
________________________
Thank You, Jesus, for blessings received and prayers answered !!!
WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.
PLEASE PRAY FOR ABUSED, MISSING, AND TRAFFICKED CHILDREN

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.

Blessed are you who are poor in spirit;
The Kingdom of God is yours – albeit;
Blessed are you who mourn – in your hearts;
Sweet comfort for you – My Spirit imparts!
Blessed are you who are meek – and lowly;
For you shall inherit the earth – most wholly;
Blessed are you who hunger and thirst;
For righteousness you will be filled and first!
Blessed are you who are merciful – and kind;
Mercy shall be yours – so keep that in mind;
Blessed are you who are purest in heart;
For you will see God from the very start!
Blessed are you who strive to make peace;
As children of God – your joy will not cease;
Blessed are you who are persecuted for right;
The Kingdom of Heaven will be in your sight!
Blessed are you who men revile and persecute;
Relentless for My name’s sake they prosecute;
Saying in all manner of evil you’re defiled;
I will exalt you – you’ll not be beguiled!
Blessed are you who have suffered for Me;
For great your reward in Heaven will be;
As prophets of old suffered greatly as well;
Like them, you profit – your riches will swell!
Be not dismayed – there is right judgment;
Be not distressed – for any begrudge meant;
Know that I see what is hidden from sight;
As in the last days, it is I who is light!
Blessed are you who are faithful and true;
I am He who can see the good that you do;
Truly you are – blessed and holy you be;
Living in paradise – someday with Me!

Let’s put one more log on the sacrificial fire of California’s “green” crusade, this time using someone else’s tax money as kindling. The California Public Employees’ Retirement System—CalPERS, the genius shop that manages pensions for the state’s lifers—took $468 million of other people’s money and, with the zeal of a true believer, plowed it into “clean energy and technology.”
The bottom line: they lost 71% of it.
That is just the latest in a long line of CalPERS screwups.
It IS what California does – SCCREWUPS.
Intentionally AND withOUT accountability.
without accountability is the problem in all that ills the society.

The US’ first “Wealth Tax” has passed out of the IL Legislature.
Illinois lawmakers pass transit bill, now heads to Pritzker (AKA JB the Hut).
“The measure increases RTA’s existing sales tax by 25 cents, adds a 7 percent amusement tax on streaming services, adds a $5 surcharge on tickets for large concerts, expands speed cameras in the suburbs, and…
adds a billionaire tax – 4.95 percent collected on their unrealized investment gains.”
https://wgntv.com/news/illinois/illinois-lawmakers-pass-transit-bill-now-heads-to-pritzker/
Fairly sure this will end up at SCOTUS, where it will be tossed.
It violates eminent domain.
will the residents need to get TRO first?
On the off chance you aren’t being sarcastic, I’ll explain TROs a bit.
A TRO is a court order prohibiting a party from doing something that is generally accepted as legal to do. The purpose of a TRO is to maintain the status quo until a full due process hearing can be held.
The most important aspect is that without the TRO, irreparable harm is certain to occur.
Since wealth confiscation without due process is NEVER legal [pursuant to the 5th amendment], a TRO cannot be issued preventing it [absurd results in law are never intended].
If you were being sarcastic, it went over my head. 🙃
no, i was being ignorant.
thanks for the explanation!
I’m just wondering–this has passed their legislature and onto the governor’s desk. if implemented, how do residents avoid the tax liabilities UNTIL SCOTUS looks at it?
Move to another state.
Preferably Not CA, OR, WA, NY, NJ, IL, CT…
Nor ME, NH, VT, MA, RI!!!
Whatever happened to New England? It used to be quite nice …
We left 3 decades ago….😜
No. Obviously, TRO can NOT be ordered.
/s Not intended.
we have a wood stove–does that count? LOL
Speaking of wood stoves, I heated a two story house in Tacoma for several years with one. I’d get bite-sized lumber trimmings from a specialty lumber mill that would re-certify beams from burned buildings.
The beams from old buildings were especially prized because they were made from first generation trees [harvested over 100 years ago]. The grain was very tight and they burned hot and for a long time.
we try and harvest wood on the property when we can–like when we make paths into the woods, and nature does bring down quite a few a year with the winds. Some wood though, like the Ash, is dead (emerald borer beetle brought in from china). the wood is no good…so we just remove it off to the side to rot.
Before we bought the property it was logged, so a lot of good oak and maple were taken on the lower corner. We have an abundance of aspen (right now shimmering gold leaves are everywhere) and some birch. there’s a few oaks and maples around the house area we won’t touch.
The old man who lived down on the road when we moved here used to make birch lampshades from birch on his property.
Something I’ve seen (and bought one) is a candle with birch wrapped around the jar. The lampshades sound very cool.
they were!
he also experimented with wine making…lol. chocolate blueberry was his last creation iirc…lol
Was it that potent? 😀
I didn’t taste it, but hubby said it was ok but he wouldn’t want a second glass..lol
I was wondering why it was his last 🙂
He had a dog named Daisy–his best friend. She was in the basement with him while he was making that wine and he tied her to the table leg to keep her from drinking what he was doing. He went upstairs to eat intending to come back down and finish and get Daisy but fell asleep. When he woke, he went down to get her, but Daisy had wrapped herself around the table leg and the rope caught her in the neck and she died. He was bereft. Threw out the wine, the bottles, everything. it was so sad.
Oh, that’s sad…. I didn’t mean to make light of that… sorry!
you didn’t know.
🙁
We heated 2 stories in NH with a wood stove. That is why I was ready to STRANGLE the SOB builder when he plopped the heat exchangers in the wrong place.
I am here with 80 ac of wood and NO WOOD STOVE!
Only thing that gets exchanged there is your money into their hands…
The big thing over here is heat pumps… same thing… bad idea for dryers, even worse idea for houses… for it to be efficient, you need a house so well-insulated that you don’t need any heaters at all 😡 😡 😡 😡
Had a fellow down the street with one of those airtight houses, and they basically had to demolish it due to the mold that grew in that environment… everything the greens touch turns to 💩
that sucks!
can you sell the wood?
I WISH I had the wood stove I planned to put in instead of the useless heat exchangers that were plopped down where my chimney was SUPPOSED to go! SNARL!
That is where we are. We have not had central heat or A/C for over a decade.
The Eagles were fanatics about duplicating the sound of their recordings at their concerts. They believed that their customers wanted to hear what they knew and that considering the cost of tickets, the customers were entitled to get it.

Democrats savagely turn on Schumer after unhinged demands to reopen government are exposed
I think this is interesting. It is another indicator of how we can control our health, if we do the right things.
“A simple saliva test could one day predict your risk of pancreatic cancer. Scientists have discovered that having a certain community of bacteria in your mouth can triple the likelihood of developing one of the deadliest forms of cancer—and the culprits include the same microbes that cause gum disease.
The recent study, published in JAMA Oncology, analyzed saliva samples from 122,000 participants in two large epidemiological studies and followed them for approximately nine years. During that time, 445 people developed pancreatic cancer.
In a microbiome-wide scan, researchers found 21 bacterial species linked to pancreatic cancer—eight tied to lower risk and 13 to higher risk.
In a separate test, researchers created a tool that predicted a person’s risks for pancreatic cancer. The tool took into account 27 microbes in total and would give participants a risk score depending on the microbes in their mouth. Each one-unit rise in the score tripled the risk of developing pancreatic cancer.
While some microbes in the risk score are individually linked to lower risk, the score reflects their combined effect. It’s a weighted measure that accounts for both protective and harmful species.
Three were well-known periodontal pathogens with established roles in gum disease.
The fungi implicated were Candida tropicalis, Candida spp (unresolved species), Candida albicans, and Malassezia globosa. The entire genus Candida, a common yeast, was also tied to greater risk, particularly among participants with a history of smoking.
https://www.zerohedge.com/medical/27-microbes-linked-pancreatic-cancer-major-study-finds
But WE can directly influence whether or not these things live in our mouth and gut!
For yeasts, eating a good diet with probiotics takes care of that. Eating fermented foods is key. Also, good oral hygiene prevents yeast overgrowth in your mouth. Eating garlic and taking apple cider vinegar does, too.
Avoiding too much sugar helps keep yeasts at bay. Getting enough sleep and exercise, along with stress reduction helps, too. Take a walk in the forest, your body needs it!
The modern lifestyle and diet is causing a whole lot of illness and death.
P.S. Brush your teeth (and your tongue) twice a day, every day. JUST DO IT.
as a person who lives in the woods, may I make an amendment to the recommendations?
Take a walk in the forest with a gun or with a friend who has a gun because a hungry bear chasing you is TOO much exercise.
Lol!
“Math is hard.” — Barbie doll recording from the 70s.
Three bacteria are implicated in one paragraph and four are named in the next.
Where is Barbie when we need her? 😂
Ya had a Barbie AND admit listening to it? Wait. Skip answering that. Some things are best unsaid.
I had sisters, you silly boy. 🙄
“English is hard.” Aubergine
Here’s the quote you are referring to, I think:
“Three were well-known periodontal pathogens with established roles in gum disease.
The fungi implicated were Candida tropicalis, Candida spp (unresolved species), Candida albicans, and Malassezia globosa. The entire genus Candida, a common yeast, was also tied to greater risk, particularly among participants with a history of smoking.”
The “three” in the first sentence refers to the Candidas in the next sentence, all of which have “established roles in gum disease.”
The Malassezia globosa is the outlier. From Google AI:
“There is no established link between Malassezia globosa and gum disease; studies show no significant association between M. globosa and periodontal disease, though another yeast, Candida albicans, is linked to it. While Malassezia species are common in the human mouth, they are not considered a direct cause of gum problems. “”
So call off Barbie. This is not a math problem.
LOL!! You won the internet today! 😂 This will keep me chuckling until tomorrow when I read more witty comebacks. Keep it up!
🙂
Happy you were entertained.
Barbie is right but you have switched focus to the horrible grammar and sentence structure.
Either way, … FAIL!
I think I have become so accustomed to parsing meaning out of indecipherable old documents (you’ve never seen such atrocious spelling, grammar, and punctuation as in a will from the 1700’s!) that I can read just about anything.
Good grammar and writing skills among the lower classes was not a thing.
I now follow my grandmother’s example, and use baking soda exclusively, instead of chemicalized toothpaste.
Wifey has been allergy tested twice in the past and candida albicans was strongly positive. Fortunately she takes apple cidar vinegar daily and has since done the parasite cleanse on two occasions with me. She has also begun joining me in fitness walks. Has good dental practices and health as well.
Fifteen years ago I told her previous primary care physician, who has since retired thankfully, that much of her chronic respiratory distress came from candida based on the allergy testing and our highly fungi environment. He looked at me like I was crazy and failed to acknowledge one way of the other.
Turns out he was crazy or a drug addict. He later quit with no notice and never returned to the profession. It was a good thing.
I’m glad your wife is proactive about her health. Preventative practices are the way to go.

Zohran Mamdani Allies Fund Extremist Group Now Entering NYC Public Schools
Two men who have openly called for violence against Jews are now being welcomed into New York City public schools to teach students “how to organize.”
Abdullah Akl, who shouted “strike Tel Aviv” at a pro-Hamas rally, and Mohammad Badawy, who prayed for the “destruction of the Zionist occupiers and all their supporters,” are leading a new initiative called MAS in Schools.
The program, run by the Muslim American Society’s Youth Center in Brooklyn, plans to open prayer spaces and host Islamic events in fifty high schools.
It’s partnering “for the first time ever” with Students for Justice in Palestine, the same group that recently called for “death to all collaborators” of Israel. (Mamdani attended Bowdoin College where he co-founded the school’s chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine.)
City records show that Zohran Mamdani’s allies on the New York City Council have funneled more than two hundred thousand dollars in public funds to the group behind this effort. Mamdani himself has appeared at MAS events and is friendly with Akl.
Do NYC parents want their children involved with this insanity? Do New Yorkers want a mayor whose sole mission in life seems to be the destruction of the state of Israel? If you live in New York, GO VOTE!!

You are very kind.
I think that today’s Health Friday post needs to be shared as far and wide as possible.
I think that looking at the photo of my late brother from December 2021, then looking at the photo of him from early summer 2024, could be a “reality check” for people who have the COVID-19 “vaccine” poison in their body.
@Real_RobN
And here it is:
Sidney Powell who filed four lawsuits against the overthrow of the United States government on Nov 3, 2020. Yet Texas had no standing.
VINDICATED BY THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATIONS;
🚨🚨FBI Director Kash Patel has turned over to Congress an intelligence report that the Chinese Communist Party mass-produced fake ballots to carry out the overthrow of the United States government during the 2020 election on behalf of a incapacitated vegetable Joe Biden.
@SidneyPowell1
“We know that there were hundreds of thousands of fraudulent ballots imported into the country from China. We have video coming across the border from Mexico.
Additionally, ballots were shipped from New York to Pennsylvania. Counterfeit ballots were stashed in certain states and shipped wherever they were needed to ‘backfill’.”

Pretty wells nails it, PAVACA. Still sorry for your losses and understand them all too well. Thank you for your dedication to the subject.
I concur completely.
Physicians we know have admitted the problems. Several never took the jabs. Others did and now regret doing so. A few use IVM personally and supported our use of it.
In our small, 51 home PUD neighborhood that is primarily older adult and retirement aged.
One male neighbor friend died from COVID after having taken the first two jabs. Was put on a vent in the ICU and died a few days later.
One female neighbor friend developed dementia. Wife of the man above. Has been in a ALF memory care unit in Stage 6 for three years now.
One female neighbor friend had a TIA and BP issues – linked to two initial jabs and confirmed by a physician who never took them. She had at least three falls afterwards that landed her in the hospital or physician office. Her orthopedic said she will not recover from her current condition.
One male neighbor friend experienced neuro-skeletal issues after the initial jabs and one booster. Suffered for years and has successfully used physical therapy to recover primary motor skills.
One male neighbor friend (retired CPA), took jabs and boosters. He now has Stage 5 dementia and is being taken care of by his wife and home health nurses.
One female neighbor friend took all jabs and boosters is in Stage 5 dementia and is a shut-in at home with family taking care of her.
One male friend took jabs and boosters, He is Stage 3 dementia and had turbo cancer of his prostrate. Removed, treated and cleared.
One male friend took all jabs and boosters. Lost 80% of his hearing and developed turbo cancer of his prostrate. Removed, treated and still monitoring.
One female friend took all jabs and boosters. Developed Bells Palsy, breast cancer that has been successfully treated, and had a hip replacement.
One female friend took all jabs and boosters. Developed early onset Stage 4 dementia. Is now taking experimental meds for the condition. She is the wife of a pharmacist.
These are just those folks I know well personally in our development. Their ages range from 50-87. All of the conditions occurred post 2020 and the above were in good physical and mental health for their ages prior to COVID.
Add in my Son-IL’s parents, who took the initial jabs as well as boosters are developing dementia and his mother also has a blood disorder that has worsened. They are in their mid-60s.
Add in a Brother-IL who took the initial jabs and first booster. He has lost physical coordination, developed serious lung issues and other nagging problems. Never recovered from a shoulder injury (rotator) from a minor snow skiing fall a few years ago. He is late 60’s in age.
Above’s wife with similar jabs developed joint issues, had surgeries on feet, and had a recent bout with female organ and breast cancer requiring surgery. She appears to be developing dementia as well. She is late 50’s in age.
The above extended family members were all very active and reasonably healthy prior to 2020.
Medical “science” would claim all of the above as anecdotal.

The COVID-19 virus itself, and the COVID-19 “vaccines”, were specifically designed to literally NOT be “traceable” regarding their negative effects on the “vaccinated” person’s body and brain — unless very detailed and specific tests are performed IN VIVO, like the D-dimer test, or, the CD4-CD8 depletion test (normally used to diagnose HIV-AIDS); or, unless very detailed and specific tests are performed POST MORTEM as part of an autopsy.
Most of the published scientific literature regarding the damage the COVID-19 “vaccines” do to the “vaccinated” person is focused on body-related medical issues; this is absolutely necessary and the thing to do. HOWEVER, there MUST be a LOT more research performed to ascertain what the COVID-19 “vaccines” do to the brains of LIVING “vaccinated” persons.
I’m so sorry to hear about the things that your “vaccinated” friends, neighbors, and family are going through. I firmly believe that these types of things are going to start happening (if they aren’t already) in “vaccinated” persons of YOUNGER age, as the incremental damage from these poisons start to present in YOUNGER age brackets.
Injecting young people with these damn things is a CRIME.
My experience with the doctor at UNC emergency TELLS ME THEY KNOW!
If you may recall my friend loss the use of her leg and could not walk. They sent in a PSYCH doctor. They made no attempt to check for clots and when I suggested a D-dimer test, he got the deer in the headlights look and ran out of the room.
That emergency room is less than a 1000 ft from Ralph Baric’s lab and is the place where we contracted Covid in the fall of 2018 (Before Covid was a ‘thing’)
This happened a year ago.
Thanks for that ground report.
What is striking to me is how all these problems read very similar to the problems that hit many (but still a very small minority) of people when the disease first struck in early 2020. The outcomes read just like the early medical reports of COVID pathologies – which only hit a small percentage of the patients, but which were very notable to physicians and researchers, and resulted in publications.
Meanwhile, I recall that the evolution to omicron was estimated to have resulted in a 10,000-fold reduction in pathology, as estimated by several metrics.
What that further tells me is that the vaccines and the disease crossed each other – from a state of arguable benefit, to one where the jabs basically carry on the statistical harm of the disease. This literally charitable interpretation will STILL be the scandal of the ages.
My doctors simply don’t have the time, patience, and in many cases understanding to realize that it is entirely possible for a disease to cross from a state where a vaccine might make sense, to one where vaccines are profoundly harmful, but it is hard to see that result.
How can this be explained to doctors, when the researchers who should do so, DO NOT, because doing so is simply detrimental to their entire reason for being?
The conscience that honest religion would put into their heads, to do so anyway, is simply not there.
I think you are spot on. I know that all of the above contracted COVID infections multiple times while continuing the jabs if they told me the truth, which there would be no reason to lie as I was playing along in each conversation. We all live within a. quarter mile walk and see each often. Most assumed I had been jabbed and I never stated one way or the other. Some are continuing to be jabbed and catch COVID afterwards while experiencing continuing other medical issues.
“What is striking to me is how all these problems read very similar to the problems that hit many (but still a very small minority) of people when the disease first struck in early 2020. This is helping me understand some comments by one of Josiah’s in-patient doctors, when he had the severe pancreatitis back in May; this doc & I struck up some interesting conversations about covid & the shots. He was mostly indoctrinated w/ mainstream info, so it seemed to me, but was inquisitive, logical, & willing to be very interpersonal in these deeper discussions (I think he was on the night shift when things were calmer as to demands on staff). He spoke about the horrors of Covid, before the shots, & how many patients he’d watched die horribly. I couldn’t quite make sense of that for I was thinking that so many of those “covid” deaths were caused by vents & allowing a very manageable respiratory illness to get out of control by refusing to provide basic, known treatments, per dictats from “the science”.
I kept thinking that All of the danger was from the shots & forgetting that the earlier phases of the “disease” were also pretty damaging for so many.
Whoever designed these multi-layered/phasic bioweapons (“virus” &/or “vaccines”) was extremely cunning in their diabolical development.
One of the most insidious aspects of the early medical response was to not advise people to take aspirin, which reduced pathology by over 40%. Think of that – almost half the early deaths prevented by just recommending aspirin.
Even worse, if doctors had recommended antihistamines (and possibly also azithromycin), the deaths would have almost been eliminated. Surely just recommending OTC antihistamines would have prevented over 90% of the deaths. But no. The medical establishment and the media wanted to promote the narrative that the disease could not be treated.
It was/is such a monstrous, incomprehensible evil
Interestingly, the medical establishment about 5 years (?) before covid had all their senior patients stop taking their “aspirin a day” that was recommended for a long time.
AND all those antihistamine drug recalls in the time leading up to covid. I think some of them are still hard to find.
Makes you think the system was preparing for the bioweapon in a sinister way.

I learned from Sam’s daughter that he had been to the doctor for a checkup in October 2023. The doctor told him that he was OK, just needed to gain a little weight.
I strongly suspect that the doctor “recommended” that Sam get the “latest 2023-2024 version” of the COVID-19 “vaccine “— which Sam did in November 2023.
Then, by early Spring 2024, his brain and body just couldn’t deal with the “vaccine” poison anymore.
Omg. That much dementia!
It is truly mind boggling. Nobody seems to catch the connection either. I am suspecting there are two others in the early stages as well.
Another ironic example – a former fellow church member (and friend) and participant in my SS class from a decade back who is a retired nursing department leader in a major hospital who holds a PHD. When COVID hit and the jabs were rolling out she called and urged us to take them. I told her I probably would not since they were not vaccines – they were gene therapy shots. She got mad, muttered some denials and hung up. Ran into her with wifey at a store some six months later and she asked if I had reconsidered and I told her negative, that even if they were proven safe if I took them they could shed to wifey who was told not to take them due to her allergies. She looked funny, muttered some more and hurried away.
Fast forward to a year ago. She saw me coming into a store as she was exiting. She looked away and hurried to her car as fast as somebody can who is on a walker. She looked 20 years older than her actual age. Doubt she will be around much longer.
All I can do is shake my head and bite my tongue sometimes.
And you gave a fair answer. She’s not only questioning whare she obtained her info, but how she processes it. Unless of course, she KNEW then. I’m glad you n your wife didn’t. Id almost say that id be DANGGGG curious to know the type and batches of what all those people were given. Clusters.
violated federal law?
FTA
Judge James Boasberg, the lawfare fanatic serving as the chief judge of the U.S. District Court for D.C., issued an order intended to conceal the Biden administration’s seizure of Sen. Ted Cruz’s phone records. In doing so, it appears he likely violated federal law.
According to Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, as part of the Biden administration’s “Arctic Frost” inquiry dead set on targeting Republicans in battleground states, Special Counsel Jack Smith, who led the get-Trump lawfare for years, “secretly obtained phone record data from at least eight senators and one congressman.”
Smith subpoenaed Cruz’s records through AT&T.
The Biden Department of Justice tried to seize Cruz’s “cell phone communications,” according to the senator, and Boasberg signed off on a “nondisclosure” gag order to AT&T blocking the telecommunications company from notifying Cruz of the seizure for at least a year. According to Boaseberg’s order, obtained by Cruz, “The court finds reasonable grounds to believe that such disclosure will result in destruction of, or tampering with evidence, intimidation of potential witnesses, and serious jeopardy to the investigation.”
There is “precisely zero evidence to conclude that I am likely to destroy or tamper with evidence or to intimidate potential witnesses,” Cruz said. “Zero evidentiary basis for that. This order is an abuse of power. This order is a weaponized legal system.”
But aside from the bogus basis for the gag order, Boasberg actually appears to have violated federal law in issuing the order in the first place.
“If this phone was an official phone (I suspect it was), then this was likely in violation of 2 U.S.C. 6628. If Smith or Boasberg violated that statute, it’s a very serious problem that probably justifies a bar investigation and could predicate an impeachment inquiry,” Mike Fragoso, fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, noted.
The law reads as follows:Notwithstanding any other provision of law or rule of civil or criminal procedure, the Office of the SAA [Senate Sergeant at Arms], any officer, employee, or agent of the Office of the SAA, and any provider for a Senate office that is providing services to or used by a Senate office shall not be barred, through operation of any court order or any statutory provision, from notifying the Senate office of any legal process seeking disclosure of Senate data of the Senate office that is transmitted, processed, or stored (whether temporarily or otherwise) through the use of an electronic system established, maintained, or operated, or the use of electronic services provided, in whole or in part by the Office of the SAA, the officer, employee, or agent of the Office of the SAA, or the provider for a Senate office.
That law bans gag orders on the collection of Senate data and communications, and requires notice to the Senate to give it the opportunity to stop any subpoenas on separation of powers grounds. The statute also requires that courts stop those subpoenas if the Senate opposes them.
As The Federalist CEO Sean Davis pointed out, “Boasberg issued the illegal gag order precisely to prevent the Senate from going to court to vindicate its rights.” In other words, the Senate would never have been able to stop the surveillance because it never knew about it — and that was the point because “he knew the Senate would have IMMEDIATELY gone to court to nuke the Biden administration’s illegal spying against at least eight U.S. senators.”
Boasberg has abused these nondisclosure orders (NDOs) so much that three Democrat-appointed appellate judges reversed an “omnibus” NDO approved by Boasberg after he violated the Stored Communications Act, which requires a judge, rather than a prosecutor, to determine an NDO is proper after meeting five factors.
“It permitted the government to apply the nondisclosure order prospectively to unidentified subpoenas, and to apply the nondisclosure order to subpoenas directed at a wide and unpredictable range of accounts,” the appellate judges wrote, noting the “unique features” of the widespread NDO.
Of the three branches of government, the judiciary does not have the power of the purse, and it does not have a military — it maintains its legitimacy by executing its duties in a fair, impartial, and lawful manner. While its legitimacy and reputation are already diminished and fleeting — especially because Boasberg and many others are working hard to make sure that is the case — the circumstances call for the other branches (primarily the legislative) to take dramatic action before the judiciary is irreparably destroyed.
Through collusion on get-Trump lawfare, and through the judicial coup undertaken after Trump took office again in January, many low-court judges have shown themselves to be political actors with hackish (often extremely low-IQ) jurisprudence that is hostile to a functioning republic.
They all need to be impeached.
This is a crisis call growing louder in Washington, D.C., with many calling for impeachment openly, and some, including those in government and even some federal judges, doing so behind the scenes.
Although it is unlikely that any of them will be removed by the 67 senators required to do so, they need to be put on notice, fearing for their credibility and careers.

Good morning, C&C, it’s Halloween! In today’s spooky roundup: shivery warning about voting in the upcoming elections to avoid a Freddie Kruger-style nightmare; scary tale of Bakersfield family plagued by literal skulls in shopping bags; ghoulish developments in the transgender revolution as shrinkage occurs; liberals terrified by cryptic tales of young people outpacing parents in historic boom in church attendance; angry atheists vanish like ghosts at daybreak; and Trump officials retreat to DC military base homes to avoid evil trick-or-treaters (or maybe an even bigger monster).

sisu?
It’s a new movie. Very brutal.
Sisu is a Finnish word variously translated as stoic determination, tenacity of purpose, grit, bravery, resilience, and hardiness. It is held by Finns to express their national character. It does not necessarily have a single-word literal equivalent in English, although tenacity, grit, resilience, and hardiness share similar meanings but do not necessarily imply stoicism or bravery. In recent years, sociologists and psychologists have conducted research on sisu, attempting to quantify it and identify its effects, beneficial and harmful, in both individuals and populations
It is also the title of a movie that takes place in Finland during WWII. The guy pictured is the main character in the movie. All I can tell you is it’s a really good movie and aptly shows what SISU is.
My husband’s mother and father grew up in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, the Kewanaw area, a lot of Finns settled there I think because it reminded them of Finland. They have a saying, “Say yah to the UP ‘eh” Tough, strong people, and their Finnish pasties are really good. (Meat pie folded over crust the copper miners carried the hot pastie to work with them when they worked in the copper mines in the UP.
Yep… Schubert had to hide from them, hence his “UnFinnished Symphony” 🙂
LOL
When my Finnish grandpa told me I had Sisu I took it as a high compliment even though I didn’t fully understand the word’s meaning. I don’t know that he ever said that about either of my brothers 😎

Those don’t count, I guess. Also, the DOJ “isn’t working fast enough.” They are “doing nothing.” Also, they should be handcuffing people and throwing them in jail without due process or following the rule of law because that’s what the public wants to see, which is all that counts, even though some actions could jeopardize cases.
The A.I. has the face on that doll just about perfect… almost photorealistic.
DrOzCMS
@DrOzCMS
Buckle up for this one.
Based on our initial set of audits, more than $1B of federal taxpayer dollars were being spent on funding Medicaid for illegal immigrants. And my team is getting it back.
Some want to deny that illegal immigrants are receiving Medicaid. Others insist it’s illegal for Medicaid to cover illegal immigrants. And others accurately point out that hospitals can provide emergency services to illegal immigrants under the program.
We can all agree on this: rooting out fraud, waste, and abuse is essential to protecting this program for the most vulnerable. It’s also one of the Trump Administration’s top priorities.
Let me lay down the facts:
The truth is that federal law is supposed to prohibit federal Medicaid dollars broadly from being used to cover illegal immigrants. It does permit states to use Medicaid dollars for emergency treatment, regardless of patients’ citizenship or immigration status. States can also legally build Medicaid programs for illegal immigrants using their own state tax dollars, so long as no federal tax dollars are used.
But that didn’t stop Democrats from going even further by breaking federal law to give illegal immigrants federal Medicaid dollars meant for American citizens.
Earlier this year, the CMS team began auditing state Medicaid programs to ensure they were following the law and not spending any federal tax dollars on illegal immigrants outside of emergency Medicaid. What we found was shocking.
In a preliminary review of 6 states, we found those states improperly using federal tax dollars for their allegedly state-funded program and providing coverage to individuals, including some with criminal records of murder and assault.
Those states are:
CA – $1,310,032,549
DC – $2,114,628
IL – $29,778,645
WA – $2,367,194
CO – $1,506,743
OR – $5,404,368
We notified the states, and many have begun refunding the money. But what if we had never asked?
Whether willful or not, the states’ conduct highlights a terrifying reality: American taxpayers have been footing the bill for illegal immigrants’ Medicaid coverage, despite many Democrats and the media insisting otherwise.
Democrats are demanding the repeal of the President’s Working Families Tax Cuts legislation in order for their votes to reopen the government. This law wisely strengthened our ability to limit federal dollars from being spent on health care for illegal immigrants. Until Democrats explicitly drop that demand, they’re blatantly holding the government hostage over giving Medicaid to illegal immigrants.
Of course CA.

I’m going to sit in a chair at the end of my driveway so the little beggars don’t have to walk any more than they have to (lugging their trick or treat bags/it’s hard work for little beggars .. ) Mom and Dad will cash in with the kiddies haul, that was always my FAVORITE part. LOL 🎃👍‼️
Oh, and I have a black velvet cape that’s lined with white crepe, it has red piping running up both edges of the cape and around the hood …. my mother made it for me a long time ago and she did a beautiful job with it. She had an old Pfaff sewing machine. It’s a great cape, kind of Count Dracula meets Little Red Riding Hood … in a quaint Transylvanian way. My father’s family came from Transylvania, my great aunt from his side said the wolves could look into your windows standing on all fours … I think they said that to scare my siblings and myself, it worked.
My husband’s family is from Transylvania 😍..
I have an old Pfaff sowing machine with foot pedal from my mother in law. I inherited 3 machines and I had two 🙂

As a kid we used to set candles on the grave for family . Families spend the evening sitting around loved one graves pray and remember them tell stories. I loved that tradition and would go with friends. The older I get the more I appreciate past Christian traditions,
Common in the Philippines, grave sites are cleaned, painted, candles set, and family spend the evening at the grave site(s).
Interesting are they Catholic? I grew up an a Catholic small city in Germany. I loved everything about the traditions.
Yes, nearly 80% Catholic.
It is a Catholic tradition then I assume 🤔

Thank you.
Don’t these useful idiots realize that they’re just FODDER for the “big people” who run the organizations ABOVE the DSA? And, when these useful idiots “outlive their usefulness”, and/or are ordered to something that even they would recoil from, that they will be “eliminated” in some way?
I think that lack of awareness is what makes them “idiots.” 😅
You know, if TPTB simply decided to announce that white people born in England are now lawfully allowed to carry firearms for self-defense, and nobody else was, all the nonsense would stop overnight.
Some raghead would accost some white person, the white person would shoot the raghead dead on the spot, and the message would be loud and clear, traveling throughout the whole fiefdom in less than an hour.
And all of a sudden, the ragheads would become very polite and respectful — because they would be fearful, for the first time since they invaded.
And fear is one of the strongest human motivators there is, or ever has been.
That’s why it’s so effective.
To gun or not to gun, that is the question.

From OT:
DOJ and FBI Whistleblowers Continue Providing Evidence of Arctic Frost Targeting Operation
October 31, 2025
SD: “Senator Ron Johnson underlines a key point being missed by many. All of the revelations about the FBI’s Arctic Frost investigation against President Trump and his supporters, are being provided by evidence carried to congress by DOJ/FBI “whistleblowers.”
Pause and reflect on that observation for a few moments. The public awareness of political targeting by the DOJ/FBI is coming from ‘whistleblowers’ to Senator Chuck Grassley. It is not Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel bringing forward the information about the weaponized use of their institutions.
If Pam Bondi and Kash Patel were in control of the root systems within their agencies, they would be the ones bringing forth the information; they are not. Bondi and Patel are not in control. Instead, the sunlight is coming from a few people within the organizations who are pushing the evidence out. Senator Johnson is providing a very deliberate point here:
.
One of the ongoing frustrations within the current dynamic is Pam Bondi and Kash Patel continuing to talk publicly about the honor, integrity and fidelity of the institutions they lead; without a public admission and statement about their agencies being comprehensively corrupted by the operation that Barack Obama and Eric Holder carried out.
Operation “Arctic Frost” did not originate organically in response to the J6 protests or the Jack Smith investigation. Arctic Frost was simply an extension of all former targeting operations that were carried out over the past ten years.
The targeting operation using the IRS. The targeting operation using the NSA database. The targeting operation using Crossfire Hurricane. The targeting operation using Robert Mueller. The targeting operation using the CIA impeachment effort (Schiff/Nadler). The targeting operation using J6 effort (Thompson). The targeting operation using Jack Smith. The Arctic Frost targeting operation. These are all designated and evidenced identifiers of a continuum of government targeting operations that has its origin in Barack Obama and Eric Holder.
Two simultaneous realities need to be accepted if this mess is to get to the point of accountability.
First, the primary function of the FBI is to protect the interests of Washington, DC. Within the body politic everyone knows what the purpose and agenda is for the FBI mission; there is no one in Washington DC who does not know this. As a collective body they pretend not to know, because the ramifications of admitting knowledge are far greater than the actual corruption they pretend not to know exists.
Secondly, plausible deniability must be maintained by everyone in Washington DC as it pertains to their pretending. The FBI operates to defend the pretending by targeting any entity who would appear with the evidence of the underlying corruption. The FBI will attack any entity who brings forth the sunlight, because the sunlight itself destroys the illusions that all pretending is reliant upon.
To maintain the pretenses in Washington DC, the FBI must target anyone who brings evidence of corruption or unlawful activity. This is the primary operating mission of the FBI and the Lawfare agents within the DOJ who are vicious in their alignment to keep powerful people protected.
If you think it’s bad, it’s actually worse.
[SOURCE]
Last point from my own personal experience in this Machiavellian network.
If we accept the outlook that Washington DC politics is essentially a UniParty when it comes to retention of the status quo for both affluence (money) and influence (power); then we must begin to accept the same dynamic also exists within DC media.
There are no allies for the American people within the construct of a Right/Left Washington, DC media perspective. It simply does not exist. The same way the FBI will attack any truthteller, the “conservative” DC media will do the same to isolate, ridicule and marginalize any voice who brings evidence of the corruption they must pretend not to know about.
The DC protectorate promote outrage as a distraction.
It takes skill to see the trees while standing in the forest.
In the example above, Ron Johnson is highlighting the obvious nature of the trees.
SD left out something that Sen. Ron Johnson said. Apparently it doesn’t fit SD’s agenda.
At about 30 seconds into the video, Sen. Johnson says, “Right now I think Kash Patel and Pam Bondi are overwhelmed by all the messes they’re trying to clean up. The agencies have lost a lot of personnel, people who simply couldn’t serve the Trump administration. It’s hard to hire people because of all the lawfare. And there are still partisan actors burrowed in, trying to sabotage their efforts.”
Sen. Johnson didn’t have to say those things. I take him at his word that he knows them to be true. Consequently, IMO we should also take those factors into consideration instead of pretending we know things that we don’t in order to cast blame.
This, I Also Believe…
People keep forgetting this:
Yes, it should be “transparently obvious” 😅 to anyone who’s paying attention.
Fair enough, but that doesn’t explain why “whistleblowers” are going to the Senate, instead of to Bondi and Patel.
Whistleblower status is for people who fear retaliation from above. Who are they afraid will retaliate? Bondi and Patel are in charge, supposedly.
Maybe the whistleblowers no longer work for the DOJ and it’s easier to go to the Congressional committee that is doing the current investigations. I don’t know, but assuming the worst seems to be the default.
“At about 30 seconds into the video, Sen. Johnson says, “Right now I think Kash Patel and Pam Bondi are overwhelmed by all the messes they’re trying to clean up.”
_______________
That problem never gets better until you start firing masses of people.
This is the DoJ and the FIB, two of the premier investigative and prosecutorial agencies on the planet — or so they would have everyone believe.
Demand every employee hand over their gov’t issued phone. Have DOGE or AI scan for anti-Trump comments and messages.
Fire every last person who is an enemy of the POTUS.
If that means you lose 90% of the DoJ and FIB work force, you’re better off with just 10% who are helping than 90% who are subverting and undermining and sabotaging.
Recruit new young people like mad, and lure back retired patriots with enough $$$ to make it worth their while to teach the new people.
FIGURE IT OUT.
It’s been almost a year now.
People just don’t want to face it.
I ignore what people say, and watch what they do.
Patel initially promoted one of the Jan 6 tormentors. Bad sign. Bondi put out “Phase One” binders of info on Epstein, then hollered “calf rope” when time came for Phase Two.
Patel states that 274 plainclothes agents with no riot gear were sent out on Jan 6 to quell riots. BULLSHIT.
It has been almost a year. Plenty of time to do what you are saying. Or administer a polygraph to every single employee as a condition of continuing employment. Or something. Any thing to clean the house out.
Patel is trying desperately to salvage an institution that should be mostly eliminated. That’s what his ACTIONS show.
I don’t even know what his big attachment is to the FIB as an ‘institution’.
It’s a corrupt institution, like every other. It’s not his childhood toy.
FIB was corrupt since J. Edgar Hoover.
The entire concept of the FIB was created with corruption in mind, it’s the perfect vehicle for a national, unaccountable, surveillance-state police force.
Just kill it already.
You and I agree on this. We were never meant to have national “police.” The FBI is unconstitutional.

Evening Prayer For Forgiveness
Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me through this day and Lord, forgive me for the times when I have wandered outside Your best will for me, instead of trusting You implicitly.
Thank You, that You are such a gracious Shepherd to me and that You come and rescue me even when I lose my way and stray from the path that You have laid out for me.
As I look back over today, I know Lord that there were things that I should have said and done differently, and times when I reacted in a manner that was not honouring Your holy name. Forgive me I pray, but thank You, Father, that You always faithfully prepared to gently bring me back to Yourself.
Give me a good night’s sleep I pray, knowing that there is no condemnation because I am in Christ, and may I wake up in the morning refreshed and ready to do Your will. In Jesus’ name I pray,
Amen.

Evening Prayer For Future Guidance
Heavenly Father, as I lie down to sleep tonight, I pray that You would guard my sleeping and protect my mind from wandering thoughts and unnecessary planning. Teach me to wait for Your perfect timing and not to try to plan my future in my own strength.
Lord, I know that You have scheduled every day of my life. Help me to trust You in all things and rely on You to lead me along the straight path and guide me in the direction that You would have me to go.
Give me patience to wait for Your perfect timing, and may I not trust in my own abilities and scheming, but rather rest in Your love and trust my future into Your hands.
And so now Lord, I commit this night to you, asking that I would rest soundly and wake refreshed and strong to do Your bidding. This I ask in Jesus’ precious name,
Amen.

Prayer Of Thanksgiving In The Evening
Praise Your holy name Heavenly Father, for granting yet another day in my life and for being with me every step of the way. Thank You for the many blessings that You have provided and the love and fellowship that I have with the friends and family that in Your grace You have placed in my life.
My heart is so thankful for all the many blessings that I enjoy day by day, and today I am once again reminded that Your mercies are new every morning and Your faithfulness endures from generation to generation.
Thank You, that I have been brought into Your family and have been made a child of God and a citizen of heaven. Words cannot express my love and devotion to You Lord
I pray that You would watch over me as I rest tonight, and that You would give me a restful nights sleep so that I may wake up in the morning refreshed in body and spirit and ready to do Your will. Guard all those that I love and may we all grow in grace and in a knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ in the days that lie ahead. This I ask in His precious name,
Amen.

Germany’s industrial backbone is buckling under the weight of soaring energy costs and a protracted manufacturing slump, exacerbating the nation’s economic woes as factories shutter and jobs flee to cheaper shores. Chemical producers, for instance, cite skyrocketing energy expenses as the primary culprit for relocating operations to China, where costs are far more predictable and affordable, leaving behind a trail of idle plants and lost competitiveness in Europe. This comes amid the latest HCOB Manufacturing PMI reading of 49.6 for October, a marginal uptick from September but still firmly in contraction territory below the 50 threshold, signaling persistent output declines, weakened new orders, and employment cuts across key sectors like autos and machinery. With household energy bills already among the world’s highest—rivaling those in Ireland and Italy—Berlin’s green energy pivot and nuclear phase-out have only amplified the pain, turning what was once Europe’s manufacturing powerhouse into a cautionary tale of policy missteps fueling deindustrialization.
Meanwhile, amid this fiat-fueled turmoil, gold and Bitcoin are surging to unprecedented peaks, underscoring a global flight to hard assets as trust in central banks erodes. Bitcoin shattered its prior record, climbing above $109,000 while gold and silver notched fresh all-time highs, drawing parallels to Satoshi Nakamoto’s visionary “Bit Gold” precursor that blended digital scarcity with precious metal reliability. This rally coincides with mounting calls to dismantle the Federal Reserve entirely, viewing it as the root of endless debt spirals and inflationary theft—proponents argue abolishing the central bank, ending its unconstitutional money-printing monopoly, and returning to sound money backed by gold or competing currencies would restore fiscal sanity and curb the very imbalances driving these asset booms. As the Fed signals an end to quantitative tightening in December, whispers of outright elimination gain traction in liberty-minded circles, positioning crypto and bullion not as speculations, but as bulwarks against a system teetering on collapse.

by who’s authority can this judge appropriate funds?
IF it must be done, take the funds from some, “sacred” Dumrat program. NOT to be replaced.
I just don’t now that a judge has the power to appropriate funds. and that’s what this seems to be. separation of powers and all.
take it from coongress people’s paychecks. see how they like that.
Nor do I understand it.
But, this one, if Trump fights it, DumRats will accuse trump of

The judge doesn’t. It won’t happen. Trump might find some way to pay it, but not for days.
Things are about to get real interesting.
Agreed. Demmunists know that they are surfing under the BIG DAMN WAVE right now.
That ‘judge’ has never even seen a law school 😂

I really don’t care if a bunch of Pentagon budgeteers are PO’d that Trump spent the wrong color of appropriated money to pay the salaries of the men and women who pledged their lives to defend you and me.
It’s the right thing to do. Most times “legal” and “moral’ are not the same thing. This is such a case.
And it’s quite certainly moral.

I’m back!
On a Mac (mini).
I spent about 12 hours yesterday with Grok, trying to get the Mac to connect with the Interwebs, without success.
A little while ago, I spoke to Apple customer service, and they were able to get the Mac online, but now my (failing) Windows PC connection won’t work.
This is my first time using an Apple / Mac, and it is not like Windows. Everything LOOKS similar enough, but it’s all different. Even the SCROLL on the mouse is inverted. Why?!?
That has to be fixable. Why would the default be to go up when you scroll down, and vice-versa? It’s like a funhouse mirror.
I have two weeks to try out the Mac and return if not satisfied. The new M5 chip should be available in early 2026, but I don’t want to wait that long, with all the problems (spontaneous reboots and freezes) I’m having with the fanless windows PC.
While using Grok to troubleshoot the Mac last night, we discovered that my UPS (battery back up power supply) may be bad. It’s 5 years old, and still shows 100% charge, which Grok said it shouldn’t show after 5 years of use.
So I switched the UPS out of the system, and connected a ZeroSurge device, a glorified (and expensive) power strip box with 8 outlets that I use for my home stereo.
The windows PC still spontaneously rebooted multiple times yesterday (and today). The top of the power brick for the PC (no internal power supply unit) came off in my hand when I went to get the model data off the back for Grok, and Grok told me I could be electrocuted. So I had that going for me.
Grok said if the lid came off, that was a bad sign, but I don’t think Grok really knows anything, he’s just trying to be pleasant and sputters things that make sense superficially, but often turn out to be incorrect. Better than the Brave browser A.I. by a long shot, but still impossible to develop any confidence in his answers.
Apple customer service eventually walked me through settings and the Mac is online now, but now the Windows PC is showing “No Internet”. I ran the network troubleshooting program, which usually fixes problems like this, but this time it said “Ethernet doesn’t have a valid IP configuration” and didn’t resolve the issue.
And Windows doesn’t have customer service (that I’m aware of), like Apple does.
Good times!
If you are using a VPN, that might be the issue.
https://nordvpn.com/blog/fix-ethernet-doesnt-have-a-valid-ip-configuration/
Also, if you use a VPN you might have a limit to number of devices?
Thank you Gudthots. My VPN is only installed on the Windows PC, and I haven’t even tried to install it on the Mac yet.
I’m not even sure why the internet connection started working on the Mac. The customer service guy was talking me through various settings, and then wanted me to reset / reboot the modem.
No wi-fi, I use cables for everything. Cables make sense, ever since I was a kid connecting stereo components with RCA cables. You connect two things with a cable, input / output, now they’re connected. So cables I understand.
But magic invisible wi-fi? I have no idea how that works. Never used it.
I explained to Grok that I needed to stay on the PC to have him walk me through the set up of the Mac, but my modem (no router) only has one Ethernet connector.
I was going to get a modem with dual Ethernet ports, but Grok suggested a 5-port Gigabit Ethernet switch (about $10), so I got one of those and it was delivered with the Mac.
Coax cable in from the wall to the modem, Ethernet cable from the modem to the 5-port Ethernet switch, two Ethernet cables out from the switch, one to the PC and the other to the Mac.
The PC connection to the Internet worked fine, but the Mac just would not connect to the Internet, no matter what Grok suggested. Grok said we worked on it for 14+ hours before we stopped. I learned a lot about Grok during a 14 hour marathon session.
So back to the Apple customer service (CS) guy. After having me change some settings, it still didn’t work, so he wanted me to reboot my modem.
I went to do that, and disconnected my phone call in the process, because I forgot that my ‘landline’ phone is on the same cable service as my Internet, so when I rebooted the modem, the phone went dead.
HOWEVER, when the modem finished rebooting, the Internet was suddenly working on the Mac, but now it was NOT working on the PC.
Apple CS actually called me back, which was unexpected. They were glad the Mac was working, but they couldn’t help with my PC Internet connection problem.
So now I’m stuck on an Apple Mac mini that is very awkward to use, but at least it is connected to the Internet. Everything on the PC still works like normal (when it’s not spontaneously rebooting itself for no apparent reason, which I assumed was due to overheating, but now I’m not sure), I just can’t connect to the Internet. And I don’t know how I’m going to fix that.
Grok thought my UPS battery back up power supply was shot, which fried my PC psu (power supply) brick, and he very cleverly explained some of the symptoms I described. Grok is very confident in himself, but he is often flat out wrong, including about things he ought to be able to check and verify before confidently giving answers.
One symptom I described to Grok is that the PC seems to only spontaneously reboot when I walk away from the PC for a few minutes, or when I haven’t touched the keyboard or mouse for a few minutes. It almost never reboots while a YouTube video is playing, or when I’m typing, etc.
Grok said that’s because the power going to the PC is above some minimum threshold while in use (CPU draws more power when in use as opposed to idle), but when the PC was idle for some period of time, a broken or malfunctioning power brick could allow the power going to the PC to drop below some threshold, and when that happens, protection circuitry in the PC causes the shutdown, and that is what is causing the PC to spontaneously reboot.
It sounded plausible to me, but I have no idea if he’s right. Swapping out the CyberPower UPS battery back-up unit for the ZeroSurge surge protector didn’t do anything at all to help the problem, and if anything, seems to have made it worse.
But now I have to find out if the power supply brick is the problem, because if it is, I can replace that for about $40, and my fanless PC would then be fine again, at least until next October when Microsoft finally stops the security updates for Windows 10.
The 5-port Gigabit Ethernet switch might be the issue for the PC. The way to test might be to plug PC ethernet cable directly into back of modem to see if it works.
I do everything shielded ethernet at my home and there are multiple switches. Sometimes if I’m having trouble like you are having I do the following:
Power everything off, including the computer.
Power the devices on in this order:
power on cable modem, wait 5 minutes (I know)power on ethernet switch, wait 1 minutepower on computer, wait for boot to finishtest internet connection
and
I found this page that might be useful for PC with DHCP issues:
https://windowsreport.com/windows-10-unable-get-dhcp-address/
DHCP (no idea what that is) is what the Apple customer service talked me through changing on the Mac, before it was able to connect to the Internet.
The Mac didn’t work until after I rebooted the modem (after changing DHCP settings), but then the Windows PC Internet connection didn’t work (after the modem was rebooted).
You need a router.
Wolf and Cthulhu both caught it.
Your modem only allows one internet connection.
If you put something like this:
https://store.ui.com/us/en/products/er-x
between the modem and the two computers, all will be well.
Thank you!
DHCP is Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol. It allows your box to wake up, say “who am I?”, and get an IP address, a gateway, and join a network. Your modem doesn’t do DHCP, but every router does.
Your modem is probably a single user modem. Instead of a switch, you need a router — that has an “outside” personality that your modem could see, and multiple “inside” personalities that can feed various computers. With just a switch, the modem can link up with the first computer it sees and reject all others.
BINGO!
Would a modem with two Ethernet ports work, or is that technically a router?
Router sounds like something that I need to use Command Prompt to go in and type in things like 168.155.241.000
I’m better off at the bottom of the Marianas Trench, trying to figure out whether to cut the blue wire or the yellow wire.
You really want a router and no, you don’t have to program it. They can be plug and play.
This Edge Router looks just like the Ethernet switch you bought and works about the same. Plug cable from modem into first port. Plug cables to computer into other ports.
https://store.ui.com/us/en/products/er-x
I should note that this is a managed router — meaning that it is running its own version of Linux and has configuration menus.
True.
When I got one some years ago, the first thing I did was load open source firmware and configure it with home network security in mind.
Therefore I’m probably not up to date on how their firmware works out of the box. Shoot, I didn’t even know they changed their brand name.
Hopefully I have not steered Scott into mind-numbing-detail-land!
Since a router is a specialized form of Linux box, you very well can go deep into the thing and start having it do strange things. OTOH, the “specialized” part is trying to make it look and act like a toaster — you should be able to plug it together and go.
Then, again, if you want to switch off the antennas, you’ll need to get in there a bit.
I’m going to try unplugging the Mac Ethernet cable and plug it back into the PC.
I need to get back to all my familiar tabs and be able to copy stuff posted here to my Word doc and all the other stuff.
It’s incredible how different the Mac OS is, even though it doesn’t look that different. It’s enough to be constantly disorienting, which is just not very fun.
It’s like trying to build a ship in a bottle.
It’s great if that’s what you want to do, but it doesn’t make much sense if you don’t need to.
You may need to do the cycle power routine. I hope it works.
I have good news and bad news about the ER-X router I pointed you to.
Bad news is that some configuration is required to make it do what you want. Good news is I found a nice guide that explains how to do it from a PC or a Mac.
The instructions are for a specialized system, but all the steps BEFORE the section that says “Final Steps” have what you need.
https://support.intermedia.com/app/articles/detail/a_id/16594/~/ubiquiti-edgerouter-x-configuration-guide
I like the diagram in the “Initial Setup” section.
JUST TO BE CLEAR…
Do the steps in “Initial Setup” …
and the part using the “Setup Wizard” …
and then STOP.
Do NOT do the instructions in “Final Steps” section.
They are for voice over IP (VoIP) configuration.
IMPORTANT FIRST STEP IN THE INSTRUCTIONS:
Start by connecting an Ethernet cable from the PC or Mac directly to the first port (eth0) on the Edge Router (ER-X).
Quote:
Of course, once you have configured it using the “Setup Wizard” then you have to undo the settings on the PC or Mac and move the cables.
Final cable setup is:
Ethernet cable from Modem to eth0 on the ER-X
Ethernet cable from PC to eth1 on the ER-X
Ethernet cable from MAc to eth2 on the ER-X
Thank you for the heads-up.
That’s pretty shaky ground (for me), but I was with you up to “Of course, once you have configured it using the “Setup Wizard” then you have to undo the settings on the PC or Mac and move the cables.”
That’s when the land mine went off 😂
You say “Of course, once you have configured it”, like what follows is something everyone knows and I should know too, but I don’t…
I wouldn’t know how to find the settings you referred to on the PC if my life depended on it, I don’t even know what ‘settings’ you are referring to, and worse, I don’t understand why I would have to ‘undo’ them.
AFAIK, I didn’t change the settings on the PC, I changed the settings on the router.
This is why I don’t mess around inside the black nuclear box.
I don’t know what I’m doing, so I don’t recognize if I’m about to make some critical mistake that would be obvious to someone who does know what they’re doing.
And if I make a mistake, just one, the computer becomes a useless brick. The only thing I can do then is drive to an electronics store, and find out if one of the kids who works there can come by after work to unclusterfark my computer for a $100.
I could certainly learn how to do it, if I had someone looking over my shoulder, to keep me from doing something I shouldn’t, and if I did it a few times, I would be able to do it from then on.
But I don’t have anyone to look over my shoulder, to keep me from doing something I can’t undo.
I hear you.
However, in this case the settings I am referring to are the SAME 2 or 3 entries that you changed in the “Initial Setup” step.
The best news is that you are only configuring ONE of your TWO computers, so you can still get online and ASK people here or Grok if something gets hinky.
A modem with two ethernet ports might be anything.
Some home internet providers give you a box with it all packaged together. AT&T fiber home internet for example.
I just like something under my control between the ISP’s internet and my local network. Something with a firewall.
This response from brave a.i. gives the name of the AT&T gateway device:
Here’s a very nice wired router that works out of the box in my experience.
https://store.ui.com/us/en/products/er-x
You can get a TPLINK C54 router at Walmart for $28.
Of course that means you have introduced a source of radiation into your network which is likely not Scott’s first choice. He could reduce the power by removing all the antennas I suppose.
I believe the antennas can be turned off before removal (I own several TPLINKs, but not that one).
“Grok said if the lid came off, that was a bad sign, but I don’t think Grok really knows anything, he’s just trying to be pleasant and sputters things that make sense superficially, but often turn out to be incorrect”
Yes, it is probably a good idea to not touch anything inside the power supply brick while it’s plugged in.
For better or worse, that thought did occur to me without Grok’s masterful insight… 😄
But then today I needed the info on the bottom of the power brick, to look for a replacement.
I asked Grok to bring up our conversation from the previous day, but he could only go back to the point where I was cut off (too many inquiries), and had to buy a monthly subscription to continue.
Once I did, it was a new session, and everything from before I subscribed was lost.
So I told Grok if he couldn’t find the info I typed into our discussion yesterday, that I was going to have to risk my life by touching the power brick to turn the power brick over, read and remember each line (and type it), and get under the desk to read and remember the next line (and type it into the computer), and if I died in the process, to make sure to send Elon a note thanking him for my senseless death.
Grok promised me he would 😄
Power brick:
BX-12020000
Input: 100 – 240Vac
50/60Hz ~ 2.5A
Output: 12V – 20A (Grok said 20A was a mistake, should be 2.0A, but it says 20)
Made in China
Grok also asked me to try to sign into Twitter when we were trying to get the Mac online, which gave me the opportunity to explain how Linda Yaccarino-Hitler banned me from Twitter, for using the word ‘tranny’, because I only had 240 characters to use, and I used the word ‘transgender’ 3 times in the post, and the post was too long (over 240 characters) without shortening ‘transgender’ to ‘tranny’.
Grok was very sympathetic, and thought the management at Twitter was taking too much of a hardline approach on controversial words and political correctness.
Right on, Grok!
You can see if something is ok to touch if you lick it first.
That’s exactly how I do it!
I learned it from A Christmas Story (1983) 👍😄
.
Good choice with a Mac Mini. Very good choice. They’re very quiet.
Do you have a cable modem and a router? How many ports on the router, if you have one? If you want both your PC and your Mac Mini online at the same time, you need a router!
He’s using a Ethernet Switch.
Come to think of it, I have a wired router between my home network and the ISP’s device. Mainly I use it as a firewall, but maybe it helps in other ways.
That’s the problem. Don’t use an Ethernet switch without a router in front of it! That was beaten into me by our systems guys. Most ISPs assume there is a router on the other side of their modems.
Some ISP devices have the two functions in a single box, but you are right, a regular cable modem is going to need a router.
Grok recommended an Ethernet switch, so that’s what I have at the moment. I have a cable modem, not a router. Just one ethernet port on the modem, hence the switch, which apparently is the wrong piece of gear for my use case.
I wanted both the PC and the Mac online at the same time, both to make the transition easier, and to keep the PC to run the Omniform program, once (if) I get comfortable enough with the Mac to disconnect the PC from the Internet. Then it won’t matter if Microsoft cuts off security patches.
The Mac mini is far cheaper than anything I have found in a consumer fanless PC. There are all kinds of fanless special use case commercial PCs, they don’t even look like PCs, and they’re all made in chinada.
I just don’t know whether I can make the transition to Mac yet.
It just amazes me that Microsoft hates their customer base so much that they drive people away, even people who want to do anything but move to another operating system.
This is like ‘customer retention’ armegeddon.
Keep the switch — write the name of the switch on its wall-wart using a silver Sharpie. Get a cheap router.
You mean the brand name, so I don’t get the wall-wart confused with some other device?
Yep. Brand name/model number.
I love silver Sharpies for writing on black equipment, and have notes written all over (generally on the bottom or backside, where they’re not obvious).
Yes, cthulhu is right. Routers usually have an internal switch of 4-6 physical connections and some number of wireless connections, but having an Ethernet switch to branch off one of the connections into several additional connections is a good thing.
This is particularly handy when you have something strange like a datacenter in your garage *cough*. You may need four connections in your garage and two in your house and use only one wire between them.
For my big DVD-ripping project, I had three computers in my dining room for about a week, so the dining room had its own switch.
I had an Internet access problem on my laptop after returning from Up North. Restarting the computer let me access wi-fi again 🙂
Fixed the scrolling direction, what a ridiculous thing to have to do…
I’ve noticed that things like the controls on my ceiling fan remote are backwards to me. The “low setting” in on the right, and the “high” is on the left. “Medium” is in the middle.
Then I figured out why. ,
Chinese is read from right to left, English is read from left to right. The damned fan was made in China!
Are you sure you’re not holding the remote upside down?
Ha! I’m blond, but not that blond!
So you just have it turned around back-to-front? 😆
http://www.engrish.com 🙂
Good theory. Even though nowadays they (like the Japanese) do horizontal written lines from left to right, when they do vertical (top to bottom) lines, the lines progress from right to left, and books are thus “in reverse”, too.
I got a new mac mini last month and nearly the first thing I did was fix the scrolling direction. The other thing that takes some brain rewiring is that on Linux/Windows you can use shortcuts: Copy (ctrl+C), Paste (ctrl+V), Cut (ctrl+X),Undo (ctrl+Z). On MacOS it is: Copy (command+C), Paste (command+V), Cut (command+X),Undo (command+Z).
Thank you! I very much noticed the Windows shortcuts not working, but I didn’t know any of the Mac shortcuts!
Grok referenced “command” button, and I said WTH is that? He said on my Windows keyboard it was the Windows key. So why didn’t he just say that in the first place? 😂
I get it. I have the windows key on my standard keyboard. Couldn’t remember that it was the Command key. Had to look it up. It’s like becoming bilingual or something. Sure hope it keeps my brain tip top.
Oh, and with the mac mini, if you ever have to boot to restore (something bad happened), it only recognizes the apple keyboards during that process I just bought an old used wired apple mouse keyboard set for that. They sit on the top of a bookcase the rest of the time.
I think Macworld and Macrumors both have areas of their sites for folks moving to Apple from Winders… for content creators and, erm, artsy types, the Appleverse is better (albeit different, at times)…
In my case I’ve worked everything from a Burroughs B3700 to custom ASIC chips. Moving from one operating system to another isn’t difficult. What’s difficult is trying to remember anything some days.
It recognized my Windows DasKeyboard (wired USB connection) when I turned on the Mac for the first time. Same with my very old wired Logitech Windows mouse.
At least well enough to be functional. I think it did some kind of recognition thing (to make them work better?) after I created a user name and password, but I’m not sure.
The DasKeyboard is the best keyboard I have used so far, when it comes to the keys themselves and responsiveness. The other really helpful reason I bought it is that it has a VOLUME knob ON the keyboard, just above the numeric keypad.
With all the yootoob videos I watch (for music and for political and finance related subjects), having a volume knob makes for a much better experience than going to the taskbar, clicking on the speaker icon, and then moving a slider left or right.
Use a volume knob on your keyboard for just 30 seconds, and you will never go back!
daskeyboard-4-professional-quarter-board-gray.jpg
For years I’ve been using one where the letters on the keys are illuminated. It also has sound controls over the numberic keypad. 😎
IIRC, the “Windows” key was copied from the Mac “Command” key!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Command_key
Oh, it’s coming back now. I think it was in 1980 or something when I first used the macintosh.
Then again, there’s the ENIKI, which may have inspired some blond support calls over the years here in the Greatest Germany Of All Time™…
(Press Any Key to continue 😀 )…
I have noticed that the mouse movements are not right on the Mac. I found the tab to make adjustments, and it helped, but it’s just not smooth and effortless like it is on a PC.
It’s like Drunk Mouse on the Mac. And I don’t think that’s something I’m going to get used to.
If you work the settings you can get things to move at the speed you like.
Scrolling is super slow (tiny increments with each ‘click’ on my Mouse wheel). Unless you use a little more force on the Mouse wheel, then it’s FAST.
I found the settings for the mouse, and the sliders to adjust from slow to fast, but they are not fine increments, they’re big, so I don’t think fine tuning is in the cards.
Brave a.i. found some tips for using the command line to get the fine tuning.
https://search.brave.com/search?q=fine+tuning+mouse+speed+on+mac+mini&source=web&summary=1
Thank you!
Apple should make it harder. They’ve only had since around 1980 to work the kinks out… 😂
I just went through this with a new mac mini so I feel your frustration more keenly. I fussed with the sliders in the Settings app to get it working right, but I’m not using the same mouse as you.
I’m just amazed how an operating system can look so similar to Windows on the surface, but everything works so differently.
Unfamiliarity makes even the simplest things take 10 times longer than they should, and I didn’t just find an extra 10 hours in the day 😂
Maybe CPL has a course or two online 😆
(talk about a blast from the past)…
I’ve got that problem on one table — it’s like the tabletop is made of some optical scrambling substance. I have to use a sheet of copy paper as a mousepad to make it work properly.
So it’s a cordless optical Mouse with a scanner window on the bottom?
The one I used has a USB cord, came out around Windows 95, and still works on Windows 10.
It’s a Logitech, fairly good sized and designed to fit the shape of the palm of your hand. Left and right buttons with scroll wheel in the middle, and a thumb button on the side for back/previous page.
It has a trackball on the bottom.
The Mouse itself has had to be replaced several times over the years, they eventually break.
Logitech hasn’t even made the model in probably 20+ years or longer, but they still turn up on eBay, brand new “old stock”, fairly often.
The trick is to find one that is reasonably priced, so you have a spare, when the one you’re using gives up the mouse ghost.
I got a 10-pack of the B100, and there’s still nine of them waiting to be used… nothing fancy like the gamers’ mice of 100 buttons, etc, just the scroll wheel and left and right “buttons” molded into the top… (OK, I’m being cheap, I know)….
Oh for the days when mice had lint problems, etc…. My keyboard, in honor of that, I guess, is an historical monument… although I was tempted a while back to get the Sharkoon Nightwriter lighted fancy-dancy keyboard partly due to the name (my son had just gotten the whole Knight Rider set on DVD)…..
I always liked the idea of a lit keyboard, and blue looks great, but I’ve never had one.
I do have the mouse lint problem though!
A couple times a year, I have to remove the trackball and pull the accumulated lint and dirt off each of the 3 sets of rollers, to get it running smoothly again 😂
A trackball would solve your problem. 😉
So does a sheet of paper.
80 grit 😆
Are you using an Apple mouse? I find that Microsoft mice work great on Macs.
No, it’s an ancient Logitech windows mouse. I’ve never found one that I liked better, so I keep an eye out for them when they turn up as ‘new old stock’ on eBay.
I can probably find it.
Here is a used one, good ole model M-BA47 (eBay link)
Yeah, I had one of those – it was great! I love Logitech. They scroll well, too. But they do eventually go bad, and need a refresh.
Someone hacked into the University of Pennsylvania database and did this. I can’t help it; it makes me laugh. 😆
😂
LOLF. hope it is real.
Ahhhh, the good (not) folks who gave us the Manniac and the Hockey Stick 😆
Saturday’s post scheduled for, 00:01 ET.
Thank you!

This article seems to dive into the implications and the details of what the shutdown reveals (including things about SNAP that I didn’t know).

Small Banks Matter.
How to Make Main Street Banks Great AgainTreasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Sen. Bill Hagerty reply to the editorial board.
Scott Bessent and Bill Hagerty
Washington and Nashville, Tenn.
Mr. Bessent is U.S. Treasury secretary.
Mr. Hagerty, a Republican, is a U.S. senator from Tennessee.
Amid the panic that ensued in the spring 2023, billions of dollars of deposits fled from regional and community banks to the largest banks. Regulators responded by invoking emergency powers, further entrenching the bailout culture that the Dodd-Frank Act of 2010 was intended to end. What explained the flight? A competitive imbalance: The biggest banks benefit from a perceived government guarantee that smaller institutions lack.
This perceived guarantee has contributed to the steady disappearance of community banks. The U.S. has lost 3,600 of them since 2010, a 45% decline. Community banks’ share of bank assets has fallen to 15% from 23%. Their share of outstanding loans has dropped to 20% from 27%.
A proposed governmental response to out of control A.I.

I did NOT take the shots. Shots were offered many times……always firm no. In Dec 2020 and January of 2021 I got very sick and was hospitalized for half of January, most of February, In and out of hosp or rehab, March-May and back in the hospital in June. Was diagnosed with a Myasthenia gravis crisis……was very sick. Ended up having 3 units of blood and I know some of the blood had to be from immunized donors.Has bothered me ever since. I was taking ivermectin almost every day in the hospital and rehab. (on the sly) I still have problems going on. I wonder if the blood was immunized. Nothing I can do.
You did what you could. Taking Ivermectin seems reasonable. I’m learning now that the covid virus wrecks your gut microbiome. Taking regular probiotics might not be enough. Some are following using the L. reuteri “yogurt” route. The inventor, William Davis MD is now saying for up to half of Americans, they need additional strains to restore gut health. He wrote a book, Super Gut. Goes over alot of it. But his youtube channel has the latest info.
Incidentally, all work on my project today was overrun with The Fiancee’s Halloween production. I did manage to call the ‘rents, though — my dad turns 90 on All Saints’ Day.
After I set up the nudzh to regularly renew my wifi lease, the next piece will be much like https://pidora.ca/turn-your-raspberry-pi-into-a-powerful-network-bridge-in-30-minutes/ . Try that with a Windows box, heh! I’ve got a 2G Pi 4 that’s destined for the purpose.
While we’re talking about funky routers, there’s a piece of kit I’d like to highlight.
The TP-Link ER605. You can have multiple WAN connections (e.g. StarLink, your neighbor’s wireless) and multiple LAN subnets in one $50 box. It is the most squirrelly cheap router imaginable. I actually use one at Casa de Cthulhu to maintain separation between “The Fiancee’s Network” with all sorts of added unvetted gear (Rokus, Amazon Firestick, phone, Amazon Kindle…..) and “The Paranoid’s Network” (wired only, limited devices, restrictive firewalls, etc.).
It is a very peculiar little box that can fill a variety of peculiar little roles.
Happy Birthday to your Dad!!!
