2025.11.04 American Stories: Daily Open – Special Edition (Short Version)

We have all seen enough now to better understand if we choose to understand.

IT. IS. TIME. FOR. THIS. DISCUSSION.

Once again, for emphasis this time in a dedicated post. TRUST TRUMP as KK says frequently. You and the lives of loved ones depends upon it. What initiated this post is below. It is a link to a Clandestine post that KK brought to the daily this past Sunday.

https://bioclandestine.substack.com/p/its-time-to-nuke-the-senate-filibuster

He is echoing what I have brought several times on here. My stories about Rules, Practices & Procedures, Parts 1-3, provide examples of the game playing that aligned in opposition to the wills of We the People. The current GOP uniparty players self identify when they insist on remaining members of Club Senate.

Folks – as those know who read stories in BIMD and since with America Stories: I lobbied off and on for years at high levels of federal government on behalf of the industry in which I worked. Many Congressional members and their staffers then and now are not good people. Some lived in their own versions of personal soap operas that left them open to blackmail and extortion. Others never hid it – they were brazen and did not care.

This has been going on for over 250 years. It is human nature when people are lacking or devoid of God in their lives, the One that Carl describes in his posts. Throughout American history when one actually does the research you see the same BS antics.

Many people give lip service to God when He is beneficial to them. However, it does not translate into living the life as one who fears (loves, honors respects and is also scared of) God Himself. For example, those type people are involved as deep state and unipartyists today. However, those type also devised the filibuster in 1806 as a circumvention of the will of the people, even though some legitimately thought the will of the people was too independent and rogue for them back in their day over 250 years ago. This is not conjecture, they said so in correspondence and documents. We can read their words today.

These founding fathers faced all sorts of riots, criminal activities, insurrections pre and post Revolutionary War that – OH, WAIT – that is also happening TODAY!

The practical matter is they used it as an excuse to do what they did. The truth is after 30 years of governance they were tired of listening to windbags hold the floor for hours and days of time. Again, they said so in written documents. They were the obvious ones that circumvented the business of the people. When you read deeper into American history you see it expressed by founding fathers and those in governance that followed them time and time again. Human nature was allowed to get in the way of the will of We the People so that the minority could circumvent the will of the people to acheive their own goals and aspirations as well as those of foreign powers.

If the goal was to reduce the control of the individual floor time in governance, all they had to do was invoke a rule like the ancient Roman Senate that the talking stops at sundown and everybody goes home. Or, do one such that a Senator does not get to control the floor on any singular issue after XX period of time. Or, that on a bill scheduled vote must be conducted in XX period of time.

But that would be too easy and too common sense. Too many people could see what they really wanted and would get pissed at them if common sense solutions were in place. They could lose their phony baloney jobs.

History

Many are surprised to be informed that some of those founding fathers they revere such as George Washington, John Adams, Alexander Hamilton, John Hancock, John Jay, etc.; actually (validly) feared insurrection and return to British rule. This led to the following being inserted into the Constitution. From Wiki (but accurate);

Only five supermajority requirements were explicitly included in the original United States Constitution, including conviction on impeachment (two-thirds of senators present),[6] agreeing to a resolution of advice and consent to ratification of a treaty (two-thirds of senators present),[7] expelling a member of Congress (two-thirds of members voting in the house in question),[8] overriding presidential vetoes (two-thirds of members voting of both houses),[9] and proposing constitutional amendments (two-thirds of members voting of both houses).[10] Through negative textual implication, the Constitution also gives a simple majority the power to set procedural rules.[2]: 1217

Did you read that last sentence? That is what the current filibuster discussion is all about – a simple majority (that the GOP now has and the Dems previously had) with the power to set PROCEDURAL rules. The filibuster was then added through that process in 1806 along with other rules through the years.

In Alexander Hamilton’s view per Federalist #22 as it applied to the previous Articles of Confederation, he saw rules such as the filibuster that were in use later as a negative. Yet, he went on to champion the Constitution that included the clause that eventually negated his argument on the subject against the Articles of Confederation. This is also given as a reference in the same Wiki article on Filibusters.

“To give a minority a negative upon the majority (which is always the case where more than a majority is requisite to a decision), is, in its tendency, to subject the sense of the greater number to that of the lesser. […] The necessity of unanimity in public bodies, or something approaching it, has been founded upon a supposition that it would contribute to security. But its real operation is to embarrass the administration, destroy the government’s energy, and substitute the pleasure, caprice, or artifices of an insignificant, turbulent, or corrupt junto, to the regular deliberations and decisions of a respectable majority. In those emergencies of a nation, in which the goodness or badness, the weakness or strength of its government, is of the greatest importance, there is commonly a necessity for action. The public business must, in some way or other, go forward. If a pertinacious minority can control the opinion of a majority, respecting the best mode of conducting it, the majority, so that something may be done, must conform to the views of the minority; thus the sense of the smaller number will overrule that of the greater, and give a tone to the national proceedings—hence, tedious delays; continual negotiation and intrigue; contemptible compromises of the public good. And yet, in such a system, it is even happy when such compromises can take place: for upon some occasions things will not admit of accommodation; then the measures of government must be injuriously suspended, or fatally defeated. It is often, by the impracticability of obtaining the concurrence of the necessary number of votes, kept in a state of inaction. Its situation must always savor of weakness, sometimes border upon anarchy.”

What we see and experience is designed the way it is for a purpose. At some point we need to realize it has been our nature as a country to be the way we are in the operation of the federal government. If we do, we realize that it will not change unless We the People change what is causing it. We the People are not like our ruling class that we supposedly elect, but now know are largely appointed. The truth is our founding fathers and their successors added this particular clause to the Constitution that led to the circumvention of the will of We the People and in so doing undermined the intent and statements made in the approved Declaration of Independence that they fought a brutal war over. They thought better of their own judgment than the majority of We the People. That also explains their desire for deference to be paid elected officials over the common man. Again, they stated such in documents. The truth is the common man was not held in high regard by many of them. Except when they fought or worked for them.

Today

The rules, practices and procedures that work in opposition to the will of We the People are totalitarian responses by devious people who are benefitting at our expense. They have been upheld by BAD PEOPLE throughout our nation’s government, judiciary and globalist involveents around the world. Yet, per the Declaration the only thing that matters in America is the will of We the People.

All of the negative effects from the circumvention and criminal activities does not mean there should be rules, practices and procedures approved and used to counter them. Those are also circumventions that become two edged swords. The proper and legally correct answer has always been for supposedly elected representatives and their support staffs of the federal government to do the will of We the People.

The only way current day patriots can do that is if we stopping living in fear. Stop going along to get along. Stop with the what ifs that paralyze positive actions from being taken.

That is what PDT, his Cabinet and the white hats are trying to do. PDT clearly believes as do I that the filibuster should be terminated. He has been saying it for a decade. It and many other rules, practices and procedures are being used as weapons against potentially major positive changes in governing that could eliminate stolen elections, forever wars, economic blackmail from excessive debt, weaponization of government, an oppressive judiciary, citizen disunity, undue foreign influence, cultural perversions and so on. We do not have to concede anything to criminal Democrats. They do not ever have to return to power. Their criminal enterprise can go down into the ash heap of history just like the Federalists and Whigs. Remember that the Federalists, the party of Washington and Adams, controlled our federal government in the early years. By the end of the War of 1812 it had completely died.

However, that cannot happen if We the People agree to support the status quo.

The future of God’s people and nations dedicated to Him will always come down to personal and collective decisions to choose this (and every) day whom you will serve.

Which is why my life verse for over 30 years continues to be Joshua 24:15.

“But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

We need a nation of Joshuas for what and who we face today that would destroy our nation. So what current American leader embodies the Joshua spirit in word and deed?

TRUST TRUMP.

Please remember Wolf’s rules for our community. In general that means to be respectful to each other and to pull no shenanigans that your mom might find offensive or otherwise cause jail time. That said, free speech is honored here.

Be blessed and go make something good happen!

Kea

I hope you don’t mind me bringing this here.
An update from GA/FLs family

posted here https://bourbonstreet506745279.wordpress.com/2025/11/03/ga-fl-the-going-%F0%9F%A5%80/

Hi Sylvia,

I found your email address in my mother’s computer and hope you don’t mind me writing you. I want to thank you for your kind words about my mother, Georgia Smith, in the comments to her obituary. She had told me she was active on blogs and had friends online. I had often wondered about how much she could be friends with people she’d never met, but it is heartening for me to know from your comments and the others that there seems to be a community of people who genuinely cared for her.
My mother’s death was completely unexpected. She had no known serious medical issues, and I had spoken with her the day we think she died. She seemed happy and busy that day. It appears that she spent her last day gardening and went to bed that night and passed away in her sleep. There were no indications of illness or foul play, and although we don’t know the exact cause, the medical examiner felt it was from natural causes. I am comforted that the Lord took her home in such a gentle way.
I wanted you to know because I imagine you probably wondered why she disappeared online. Thank you for your friendship with my mom. I know she found a tremendous amount of camaraderie through her online community that she found difficult to have in person. Thank you for being a part of that for her.
Sincerely,
Sandy

cthulhu

Thank you for bringing that, Kea — it really means a lot.

Linda

Amen to that. I had been wondering if she was suffering from an illness or health issue we didn’t know about. I’m glad her daughter took the time to let us all know what happened.

Sylvia Avery

It sounds like Georgia had as peaceful a passing as one could hope for. It was so kind of her daughter to reach out.

Sylvia Avery

I was comforted by her daughter’s message. I am just sorry I didn’t see it sooner. I hoped it would bring some peace to others as well. Hope you are doing well, Coothie.

cthulhu

Well enough, but I just spent an hour over on your blog (where I can’t easily comment) looking for updates for WSB and mtinmyheart.

Sylvia Avery

Hey Coothie! Sorry you spent all that time looking, but I’m glad to know you lurk occasionally!

No news from WSB for a couple of days. I’m a little anxious.

As for mtinmyheart, good news. She posted this this morning:

Morning Nesters!!!!
Sylvia, thanks again for including me in the prayers. It’s working!!
I had my Cardio follow up today and everything looked good!!! I have to be in the sling for 2 more weeks and I can get back in the pool in 2 months!!! I can start walking again now and I will be doing Cardiac Rehab twice a week – so I’m excited to get some exercise!!!
I can also start back up with my piano lessons on Friday – I’ve missed 2 weeks so I’m excited about that also!!!!! I started lessons in August and it has been so much fun and I’m actually learning to read the music this time. I was a failure at that when I was younger!!
And the ice maker randomly started working again over the weekend!!!!
Thank you all for all of your healing prayers!!!
Sending you all much love!!!!
MT!!!

cthulhu

Good news on MT!

I like that you were slinging so much prayer in her general direction that you even hit the icemaker.

Tell her “hi” from over here.

Sylvia Avery

LOL…I about fell out of my chair laughing when I read that about her icemaker. We’ve been plagued with refrigerator problems at the Crow’s Nest. They don’t make them like they used to, that’s for sure. So yeah, delighted the icemaker got a little zap! 😁😁😁 I will for sure tell her hi.

PAVACA

Sylvia Avery
So good to her about MT!

Sylvia Avery

Yes, it was great news. She’s had a rough go.

Valerie Curren

Thanks for sharing that update Sylvia!

Sylvia Avery

Thanks kea….I was just about to post it. Glad you brought it and I hope people don’t mind.

Wolf Moon

Of course not! Very glad to hear this information.

Sylvia Avery

Thanks Wolfie. It really was a comfort, and I hoped you all would feel the same.❤️❤️❤️

kalbokalbs

GA/FL was treasured.

GA/FL memories live on. Certainly with Slow Guy.

Sylvia Avery

Treasured is exactly the right word. ❤️❤️❤️

pgroup2

Sylvia!!! How nice to hear from you.

Stop being a stranger. 😍

Sylvia Avery

Hey pgroup! I’m always so glad to see you guys. How are you doing?

pgroup2

As well as can be expected but emphysema is gonna get me. How weird is that? I get diagnosed with stage 4 bladder cancer and beat it into remission, only to get done in by a pre-existing condition.

Gail Combs

Do not forget DOCTORS BEST brand serrapeptase!!! (As well as Nattokinase) I used them when I had ‘Asthma’ from another bout of Long Haulers.

(I found Doctors Best brand works much better than the NOW brand because it is coated to prevent breakdown in the stomach.)

Serrapeptase Benefits, How to Use and Side Effects – Dr. Axe(Very good article)

Serrapeptase For Lung Health – Nattokinase Heart Health
Seaprose-S Vs SerrapeptaseDiscusses Serrapeptase sensitivity to stomach acids and coatings

Has anyone used Nattokinase or serrapeptase | Mayo Clinic…
(This is a discussion board)

I have just read about people who have used both of these supplements and have had really amazing improvement in their lung health. I read this on the Pulmonary Fibrosis news forum. I’m always nervous about taking some supplements….

I was diagnosed with Chronic Bronchitis (COPD ).

After being fiven a box of horse pull to keep mucus flowing and 3 inhalers. My condition remained the same. Repeated chest infections/Coughs.

I started Serrapeptase 200k IU per day with Olive leaf extract.within a week i stopped coughing and expelling mucus. I threw away my inhalers and pills and ive hardly coughed since. Very rarely had an infection and can walk for miles.

I would recommend Serra to anybody.

Bare in my that i stopped smoking on diagnosis. This was essential to reducing inflammation.

Gudthots

Olive leaf extract is supposed to help the body recycle Vitamin C which is probably part of what helped.

Aubergine

I agree with Gail. Also, beet root powder helps your body produce NAC, which is great for lung health, including emphysema and COPD:

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC2706612/

You can just mix the powder into water, yogurt, or whatever. It’s easy.

Gail Combs

Beets and raw garlic are good for your blood pressure too.

(I love both)

singingsoul1

I drink beet juice a couple of times a week.

Gudthots

Amazing.
Thanks for that.

I do like beet root powder.

PAVACA

pgroup2
IMO — Please try 25mg – 30mg of Zinc per day. Zinc can help keep the lungs clear. Please try 400mg – 500mg Magnesium per day. Magnesium can help with lung function. There are other things that can possibly help, too — Iron and Selenium among them:

https://mdpi.com/2072-6643/16/23/4118

Gail Combs

Good to know.

I already take Zinc, Magnesium, Selenium (Brazil nuts) … And our well water is full of copper and other minerals.

Aubergine

ust remember, only ONE Brazil nut per day! You can overdose on selenium!

cthulhu

I thought it was three.

Aubergine

So, many sources say 1-2 a day. Other sources say more. I am pretty cautious in my approach to these things, because other common foods you may eat also contain selenium, like eggs. If you have three eggs for breakfast, like the DH here frequently does, you have eaten almost your whole daily recommended selenium intake. If you have a turkey sandwich for lunch, just three ounces of turkey is half your daily amount.

So it can add up fast.

Gail Combs

We stick to ONE Brazil nut. Cashews & pumpkin seeds are for the munchies.

Wolf Moon

Yes! Magnesium was especially helpful to me, post-COVID, for a variety of reasons.

Gail Combs

Good for muscle cramps too.

I take magnesium citrate each evening and a glass of water. No problems with constipation anymore as a result.

Gudthots

Sea Salt provides a lot more trace minerals and it’s what humans have been using for health for a very very long time.

Sylvia Avery

I’m very glad about the cancer. My brother had it, too. Stage 3. But he’s fourteen years free. I am sorry about the emphysema. Take care of yourself.

pgroup2

Gail Combs

Why ever would we mind?

Georgia was a member of our community and it was wonderful to hear she had a very peaceful death. It was also nice to hear that she enjoyed our company as much as we enjoyed hers.

cthulhu

Absolutely. And her inventive sketches for Sally’s mobility rigs fit into her analytic side here just as her discussions at Sylvia’s fit into the caring side over there….

We refer to Marica’s, Sylvia’s, and Pat’s as our “sister sites”, but it’s not just a tossaway expression. We share people between the sites, but care for each deeply in our separate ways.

It is always appreciated to bring news from one site to another, especially regarding someone as beloved as GA/FL.

cthulhu

Now where is WSB?

Sylvia Avery

The last I heard from her was a couple days ago. A storm was incoming and flooding was expected and she wasn’t going to be able to go to the rehab center to be with TH. Nothing since.

patfrederick

I often encouraged her to share her “inventions” as I’m sure many would benefit from her innovative ideas. I don’t remember if she sold or donated the van they used for Sally, but I remember her saying she wanted to get it detailed before then. always thoughtful.

Kea

Yes she was so creative a company could have truly used her ideas.
I spent an hour once trying to find good walker tips for mom and she helped me get a good pair that lasts

patfrederick

I think she was considering doing that actually after Sally passed. She had to reorganize her house and her life, but she was considering it iirc.

Sylvia Avery

Hey Gail! Oh I dunno….I tend to overthink things, I guess. I was a little worried that sharing Sandy’s email might be like reopening a wound that had begun to heal, or something. But it brought me a measure of comfort, and I was hoping it would do the same for others, too. But I was a little uncertain.

Valerie Curren

I was Very Thankful to read that uplifting info from Georgia’s daughter–TY!

Sylvia Avery

You’re welcome!

Wolf Moon

Amen!

Sylvia Avery

Absolutely. 🙏🙏🙏

cthulhu

Please relay back to Sandy how much her mom was loved and cherished over here.

Sylvia Avery

I did, Coothie. She loved all of you, too. She unfailingly brought us news from here.

Wolf Moon

Thank you very much for that! 💖

pgroup2

Very sweet tribute from her daughter.

TheseTruths

It’s nice to have that information and that “she found a tremendous amount of camaraderie through her online community that she found difficult to have in person.” I think I can speak for many and say that we felt that with her as well.

Sylvia Avery

From things GA/FL said, I knew personal relationships were difficult for her. There are a lot of bad things that can be said about our modern world’s online obsession, but it has provided a sense of community and companionship of a sort that may not be available IRL to everyone, for a variety of reasons. I’m very glad that we provided some of that for Miss Georgia. And I think her daughter was comforted to realize that she did have that–that we valued her.

TheseTruths

So nicely said.

pgroup2

Sylvia, you are soooo sweet. 😍

Sylvia Avery

Heh! Well, I’m glad you think so. 😘😘😘

Valerie Curren

Yes!

patfrederick

thanks kea!

kalbokalbs

GA/FL was an absolute gem.

Very kind and thoughtful of Sandy, to share, update a bit.

Kea thanks for bringing Sandy’s message..

patfrederick

agreed!
did you know she painted? After Sally Q passed, she moved back to her house and was doing some gardening and reorganizing and then she was going to maybe get back to painting.

kalbokalbs

Nice to know.

Several years back, GA/FL posted a picture of flowers, on her front porch.

Wolf Moon

If you ever spot that again, please let me know! I’d love to see it again.

kalbokalbs

Will do.

It was back in the Covidiot days. Will do some looking around.

kalbokalbs

Searching around. GA/FL brought this to QTree…

https://www.theqtree.com/2022/03/18/dear-maga-tgif-open-thread-22020318/#comment-883195

GA/FL closed her post with.

PS – We are having a relaxing time at Marica’s….just listening to music and resting up from all the politics and crap.
In awhile, I’ll look at Marica’s, for the pic.

EDIT. Can’t find a search function at Marica’s. It was a long shot anyway.

How lovely to know that she valued us. I’ll miss her.

patfrederick

me too!

kea
Thank you for bringing this. I think it answers some questions. May GA/FL have a wonderful time in the Beyond.

Valerie Curren

Thank you for sharing this beautiful testimony!

Sylvia Avery

Well crap. I guess I’ll stop taking it.

cthulhu

I think they’re talking about daily doses.

kalbokalbs

My first, albeit jaded thought, Big Pharma influences.

Gail Combs

YUP!

As I said in my comment. The study is CRAP!

Gudthots
Sylvia Avery

Jaded? More like eyes wide open.

American Heart Association – AHA.

Like the FDA, CDC, NIH…AHA and the like, I start with, Are They Lying To Me AGAIN.

Quick Brave search…

  • Yes, the American Heart Association (AHA) recommends both COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters for eligible individuals. The AHA emphasizes that vaccination is the most important protection against serious COVID-19 infection, hospitalization, and death. They support the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance and urge everyone aged 5 and older to get vaccinated and receive a booster dose when eligible, especially adults aged 50 and older or those with underlying medical conditions.

I have no idea if AHA is being truthful, or looking to sell Big Pharma solutions.

Gail Combs

looking to sell Big Pharma solutions.” Just like they SELL Statins and blood pressure medicines for Big Pharma.

gil00

Ok. I cannot relax despite how tired i am. Literally 20mg a night.

Wolf Moon

What are your caffeine levels?

gil00

1 coffee pod worth a day. Occasionally a can of soda. Tea can vary depending on type but i make it weak. No energy drinks ever.

cthulhu

Timing is also important, and more so as I get older. I used to do tea and diet cokes throughout the day. Now, there are no more sodas, and if I make tea after noon it has to be decaf.

gil00

I think im like that too. I took a little 8 ounce bottle of chocolate milk and added a tsp of instant coffee as an extra during late morning bc i was yawning like crazy. No tea or anything after that.
Decaf herbal ice tea is good too.

Gail Combs

No caffeinated tea after noon. Generally I quit after 2 mugs in the morning before 9 am.

kalbokalbs

TMI. Aspects may be helpful.

For decades.

  • Six + cups coffee daily.
  • Several soda.
  • Lights out 9PM.
  • Slept OK, until I did NOT.
  • Tinkle ~2 timesnightly.
  • Commonly was up, sleepless between 2AM and 4AM.
  • Up ~5AM. << My goal. 8 hours 9PM-5AM.

Past ~five months.

  • Three or four coffee before noon. Then none.
  • Zero soda, anytime.
  • Limited liquid after 6PM.
  • Lights out 9PM.
  • Tinkle once a night. Sometimes none.
  • Usually easy to get back to sleep.
  • Up ~5AM.
gil00

I totally get your schedule. Mr gil used to drink 2-3 cups coffee AND a 2 liter bottle of diet coke every day. I could never…
I dent my thirst during the day and chug a bit in afternoon. Up to tinkle 2-3 x. Ive gotten like that nada after 6 pm. Not 100%, but half as much or sips. That helps. Not lights out at 9 yet, not w kiddo around still. Up at 6 though.

Wolf Moon

Thanks! Not TMI. Looks like age makes caffeine more problematic for all of us.

cthulhu

One of the weirdest “side effects” of going on CPAP some twenty-something years ago is that I had previously gotten up about five times a night to go tinkle, and then I didn’t.

Turns out, your kidneys have an “overnight mode” where they slow production, but it only kicks-in during deep sleep. If you keep waking up, choking, before you settle into deep sleep, your kidneys run full-flow throughout the night.

Once the CPAP allowed me to sleep more solidly, the kidneys got to take a rest.

Wolf Moon

Good news!

cthulhu

Yes, but it was very odd having a blower feed air to a face mask and having it change my tinkle timing.

kalbokalbs

Great information.

gil00

I woke up at 345 this am. Tried to sleep but dized. I use ear plugs and a fan too.

Wolf Moon

Caffeine does look like it could be a problem. Decaf coffee actually still has quite a bit. Just be careful.

gil00

Ok. Im going to cut melatonin for a week and limit caffeine to 1 cup am, no other during the day. If still having issues, decaf every other day.

Wolf Moon

An excellent experiment!

gil00

Still no melatonin as of today. I had a few sips of black tea to take some medicine last night. While i slept i didnt sleep as sound. I think youre right. I may be extra sensitive to caffeine at this point. No extra caffeine or if so, none past mid morning. I didnt cave in to melatonin last night either. 3 more days without.

Wolf Moon

WOW. I think it’s working!!!

Wolf Moon

Good for you!

Sylvia Avery

A simple but effective vetting process. Thanks kalbo.

pgroup2

I hope you just forgot your /s.

Gudthots

It is very likely in my mind that melatonin has very powerful benefits that have been interfered with due to IMPURITIES of the products for sale.

It is used to treat cancer, for instance.

Long term researchers put lab animals through many years of high dose. Could not find a dose that caused harm.

They saw so much benefit that they started taking it themselves at the dose they determined gave the most benefit. (1mg per kg, IIRC).

But they recommend getting your melatonin from a pure source as the impurities can cause harm.

One recommended brand is “Scientific Health Solutions.” It is sold on Amazon if you want to read reviews.

There’s another brand that sells pouches of the powder. A pain to measure, but the price is less. Can’t recall that brand.

Sylvia Avery

Thanks, most appreciated! I’ve read melatonin has shown some utility in treating diabetes or managing symptoms, but that was a fairly high dose.

Gudthots

I learned a lot listening to this lecture on melatonin:

gil00

Ty.

Kea

It’s that always typical. Too much of a good thing. everything in moderation

Last edited 1 month ago by Kea
Linda

And yet there are a lot of other researchers who have found all kinds of healing properties from melatonin. At this point in my life, I have very little trust in some of these studies without a LOT more research. How many times have we been told that cholesterol was bad, and yet it turns out we need cholesterol. Or fats in our diets, when we should have been giving more attention to carbs. Or any number of other subjects that the medical community has gotten completely wrong.

TheseTruths

I agree. And it’s always a good idea to read articles instead of going by the headlines. In this case the URL says “Long-term-use-of-melatonin-supplements-linked-to-higher-risk-of-heart-failure-and-death,” while the article itself says “our study cannot prove a direct cause-and-effect relationship.”
   :insane:

Gail Combs

EXACTLY! As I said it is CRAP because all they did was look at what was recorded on medical records.

Sylvia Avery

Well that’s certainly true.

kalbokalbs

B I N G O Linda!

pgroup2

And the lower you get your cholesterol levels, the more the body produces to make up the deficit. [I seem to remember reading that somewhere]

TheseTruths

I read a different article about that earlier. As is often the case, I think there is more to the story. From this article, emphasis mine:

The study has several limitations. First, the database includes countries that require a prescription for melatonin (such as the United Kingdom) and countries that don’t (such as the United States), and patient locations were not part of the de-identified data available to the researchers. Since melatonin use in the study was based only on those identified from medication entries in the electronic health record, everyone taking it as an over-the-counter supplement in the U.S. or other countries that don’t require a prescription would have been in the non-melatonin group; therefore, the analyses may not accurately reflect this. Hospitalization figures were also higher than those for initial diagnosis of heart failure because a range of related diagnostic codes may be entered for the hospitalization, and they may not always include the code for a new diagnosis of heart failure. The researchers also lacked information on the severity of insomnia and the presence of other psychiatric disorders.

“Worse insomnia, depression/anxiety or the use of other sleep-enhancing medicines might be linked to both melatonin use and heart risk,” Nnadi said. “Also, while the association we found raises safety concerns about the widely used supplement, our study cannot prove a direct cause-and-effect relationship. This means more research is needed to test melatonin’s safety for the heart.”

TheseTruths

Also, the study does not cover casual, intermittent use of melatonin. People who were prescribed it probably had a lot going on. It also does not say anything about dosage.

Sylvia Avery

Thanks TT.

The first thing that I thought was, is melatonin being attack in the same way HCQ & Ivermectin was?

From my point of view that study is CRAP. It is based on medical records and since melatonin is available OTC, unless every doctor ASKED about its use AND recorded the answer, the data set is hopelessly compromised. It reminds me of the cholesterol study used to promote Statins.

The vilification of Cholesterol and it’s history.

Second The American Heart Association.

A Sharyl Attkisson clip 9 minutes, giving some history. In 2004, recommended cholesterol levels were lowered based on a study by doctors connected to the drug manufacturers. When this conflict of interest was pointed out the FDA ignored it. And then the recommended levels were lowered even further in 2013. Half of the ‘advisors’ recommending the levels were compensated by the Drug manufacturers. And then there is the American Heart Association who develops the standards and its relationship to the drug manufacturers.

There was info brought here within the last year. A video, where the doctors & researchers looking into melatonin benefits and it’s effects on health were all taking a minimum of 100 mg of melatonin.

I did not archive that video but I did find this in a quick search:

Melatonin: new insights on its therapeutic properties in diabetic complications

Abstract

Diabetes and diabetic complications are considered as leading causes of both morbidity and mortality in the world. Unfortunately, routine medical treatments used for affected patients possess undesirable side effects, including kidney and liver damages as well as gastrointestinal adverse reactions. Therefore, exploring the novel therapeutic strategies for diabetic patients is a crucial issue. It has been recently shown that melatonin, as main product of the pineal gland, despite its various pharmacological features including 👉anticancer, 👉anti-aging, antioxidant and 👉anti-inflammatory effects, exerts anti-diabetic properties through regulating various cellular mechanisms. The aim of the present review is to describe potential roles of melatonin in the treatment of diabetes and its complications.

Melatonin: potentials, safety and bioavailability

….This molecule has potential therapeutic effects for treating neurodegenerative diseases, malignancies, cardiovascular diseases and many other clinical problems [12]. Of note, it also has a regulatory role in sleep disorders and reproduction [1314]. Furthermore, melatonin has immunomodulatory effect [15], which depends on its capability to increase the cytokines production and its anti-apoptotic and antioxidant properties. By affecting cytokine release from immunocompetent cells, melatonin has been suggested to modulate the immune system [16]….

Anti-diabetic effects of Melatonin

Melatonin has been shown to have a beneficial role in controlling blood glucose in both animal and human studies. The expression level of glucose transporter type 4 (GLUT4) gene is reduced in pinealectomized animals, which consequently results in glucose intolerance and insulin resistance. These conditions are alleviated by melatonin treatment [5657]. Furthermore, the level of melatonin decreases in human dental pulp tissue in type 2 diabetic participants. Melatonin in pharmacological concentration could improve iNOS and SOD activity in hyperglyceamic human dental pulp cells (hDPCs), suggesting the protective effects of melatonin in human dental pulp tissue under hyperglycaemia [58]. In rats with streptozotocin (STZ)-induced diabetes, eight-week treatment with insulin (NPH, 1.5 U/100gr/day) and melatonin (0.2 mg/kg/day in drinking water) improves glucose homeostasis and insulin sensitivity of white adipose tissue comparing with using one of these drugs individually [59]….

Those are just excerpts from a long article.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

So at this point I would wait for TRUSTED doctors to weigh in on this.

pgroup2

I only intended for it to be FYI.

As your response demonstrates so well, it was good that I did. 😉

Melatonin is often used by parents of autistic kids who need it to calm them down and allow the children to sleep.

Yes, high dose melatonin was a part of my anti-cancer protocol. I took 1,000 mg a day for well over a year, as did many in my group, and never have had any heart issues. Also, it was recommended to take 300 mg before any scan that involved radiation.

gil00

Wow. Thats the highest dose ive seen. Here im eorried about my itty bitty.

Aubergine

I’m sure everyone here knows by now that I prefer the natural way of doing things, lol!

The modern world is destroying the human body, in my opinion. It’s up to us whether we fight that, or not.

Darkness causes the body to create melatonin. Blue light from screens prevents it. Watching TV until 11pm and then attempting to go to sleep won’t cut it. If you read from a tablet without a blue light blocker, same. If you need reading glasses, they should have a blue light filtered lens, too.

Getting outside into the sunlight early in the day, making sure your bedroom is really dark, and what you eat also affect melatonin production.

I personally think the reason many older people don’t sleep well is from a lack of physical activity. To whatever extent possible, people need exercise to get good sleep. Being physically tired is important. If you just sit around all day, what’s telling your system that you need some deep sleep to heal?

The 7 Best Foods with Melatonin

Pistachios

Melatonin concentration: 233,000 ng/g2

Crack open some pistachios for a bedtime snack. Pistachios contain the highest amount of melatonin compared to other nuts and offer up a plant-based source of protein. Barkyoumb says, “Roasting nuts may reduce their melatonin levels, so it’s best to stick with raw options. If you are a late-night snacker, consider a nut-filled trail mix to help support a restful night of sleep.” Pistachios also provide magnesium and vitamin B6, both of which are linked to better sleep quality.34…

Aubergine

You bet! Food is some of our best medicine.

Gail Combs

If possible I rather use food. Also if a food has the chemical you want but not enough, it is the best ‘carrier’ for the chemical in the pill.

Aubergine

AGREED!

I always try to take my supplements with a food source that has at least some of what the supplement delivers. Not only are there “assistants” to the chemical in the food, but generally there are buffers for your system, too.

Gail Combs

That certainly makes sense.

Bondi Gives Lindsey Halligan New Title After Comey and Letitia James Challenge US Attorney’s Appointment

US Attorney General Pam Bondi on Monday gave US Attorney Lindsey Halligan a new title as James Comey and Letitia James challenge her appointment.

US District Judge Cameron Currie, a Clinton appointee, will decide whether Lindsey Halligan will be disqualified as US Attorney after Comey filed a motion challenging her appointment.

Former FBI Director James filed a motion to dismiss his federal criminal case on Monday, claiming “vindictive prosecution.”

Comey also challenged the appointment of US Attorney Lindsey Halligan.

A grand jury in the Eastern District of Virginia indicted former FBI Director James Comey in September. He was indicted on two counts – false statements and obstruction of a congressional proceeding.

If convicted, James Comey is facing up to five years in prison.

Comey is attacking the federal criminal case, citing “vindictive prosecution” and challenging Lindsey Halligan’s appointment.

James Comey cited two other cases as he challenged Halligan’s appointment as Interim US Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Pam Bondi jumped into action and retroactively gave Lindsey Halligan a new position of “special attorney” in response to Comey’s effort to remove Halligan.

“On September 22, 2025, I exercised the authority vested in the Attorney General by 28 U.S.C. § 546 to designate and appoint Lindsey Halligan as the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia,” Bondi wrote in a new order dated October 31.

“For the avoidance of doubt as to the validity of that appointment, and by virtue of the authority vested in the Attorney General by law, including 28 U.S.C. § 509, 510, and 515, I hereby appoint Ms. Halligan to the additional position of Special Attorney, as of September 22, 2025, and thereby ratify her employment as an attorney of the Department of Justice from that date going forward,” Bondi said.

As a “special attorney,” Halligan has the authority to conduct legal proceedings before judges and magistrates.

“As Special Attorney, Ms. Halligan has authority to conduct, in the Eastern District of Virginia, any kind of legal proceeding, civil or criminal, including grand jury proceedings and proceedings before United States Magistrates and Judges,” Bondi wrote.

Bondi specifically designated Halligan authority to handle the cases against Comey and James.

“In the alternative, should a court conclude that Ms. Halligan’s authority as Special Attorney is limited to particular matters, I hereby delegate to Ms. Halligan authority as Special Attorney to conduct and supervise the prosecutions in United States v. Comey (Case No. 1:25-CR-00272) and United States v. James (Case No. 2:25-CR-00122),” Bondi added.

Sylvia Avery

This is terrific. Fighting back. I love it. Very encouraging.

pgroup2

That is going to leave a series of marks. 😮 😆

Bondi is a FIGHTER. And she understands Jim Comey deeply – how every single thing he does is 50% diversion.

This is an excellent article, TradeBait, and I agree with “Trust Trump” and that we have to fight with everything we have right now. If getting rid of the filibuster would enable us to get things done, then we should do it, and accomplish those things, while we can. We have to prevent Dems from gaining the power to use the lack of a filibuster to institute their own evil agenda, and if that means ditching the filibuster now to thwart them and defeat them, so be it.

Is “JB” John Brennan?

Just The News reported:

Federal prosecutors revealed Monday they have unearthed a trove of personal emails showing then-FBI Director James Comey openly talked in the days before the 2016 election that he expected to be working soon for President-elect Hillary Clinton and was being kept apprised by a top FBI aide on efforts to anonymously provide information to the news media.

“Well done my friend. Who knew this would. E so uh fun,” Comey wrote in a November 2016 email after then-FBI special government employee Dan Richman briefed the FBI director on Richman’s efforts to provide information and guidance to The New York Times on an article involving Clinton’s email scandal.

The emails were referenced in a bombshell court filing by acting U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan and her deputy, Tyler Lemmons in which the government rejected Comey’s argument that he was being maliciously prosecuted for misleading Congress about actions he took as FBI director.

Halligan cited and attached to the filing numerous emails in which Comey was clearly aware that Richman was working to provide information anonymously to news outlets about the Clinton email case and that he expected those outreach efforts would end with Clinton defeating Donald Trump in the November 2016 election.

TheseTruths

“JB” might be James Baker.

https://justthenews.com/accountability/political-ethics/comey-expected-work-president-elect-clinton-knew-top-aide-was

At Comey’s direction, records previously showed Richman allegedly spoke with the press to help shape news stories in Comey’s favor, although Richman has saidComey never asked him to talk to the press. FBI emails show that Richman was ostensibly working at the FBI for the Office of General Counsel under then-FBI general counsel James Baker, and that Richman was coordinating with Baker and with then-Comey chief of staff James Rybicki.

Exhibit 10 shows FBI special government employee Daniel Richman (aka “Michael Garcia”) is leaking–as an anonymous source–to New York Times reporter Michael Schmidt on behalf of then-FBI Director James Comey.

Comey testified to the Senate Judiciary Committee he never did this.

TheseTruths

Ouch! 😅

I’m no legal expert, but this looks like conspiracy to me. And there are quite a few people involved. I’m wondering if the reporter, Michael Schmidt, would be immune from prosecution or if it could be proved that he was a willing participant in a conspiracy to take down a presidential candidate in order to get someone else elected. It certainly looks that way to me.

What people don’t understand about this practice, that I just found out about a couple of months ago, is why these corporations do this.

They use YOUR money (the “round up) to make donations to charity, which gives THEM (the corporation) a tax break!

Just say NO. Write a check to Samaritan’s Purse if you want to give money to charity, and use the tax break for yourself.

gil00

Its dt the penny shortage but yes they get the tax break. I cinfronted abplace once and saud i need a receipt showing my donation for taxes andvtheyvwere stunned. But i got it.

gil00

I read about that. Durprised they asked. Some mcd are just automatically charging, which to me is theft. I think despite it being a penny shortage theyll have to take the extra change as donations for some charity. I sense a class action on the way.

patfrederick

i agree. if my bill is $15.01, you can’t make me pay $16 for YOUR convenience. it is theft.

gil00

Yep.

There is No penny shortage.

gil00

I believe you but the articles constantly make the rounds.

kalbokalbs

  • for a couple months, pick one or two.
  1. Round up to nickel and donate.
  2. Store credit for next visit.
  • I chose 2.

CC or debit card circumvents the nonsense.

Zero chance I’ll be coerced into “donating.”

EACH DAY WE TAKE UP THE OFFENSIVE WEAPON OF THE WORD OF GOD – THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT – ONE VERSE OPENS THE DOOR TO THE CONTEXT OF THE CHAPTER MESSAGE

Verse of the Day for Tuesday, November 4, 2025

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Colossians 3:16 (KJV)

COMMENTARY FOR COLOSSIANS 3

“The Colossians exhorted to be heavenly-minded; (1-4) to mortify all corrupt affections; (5-11) to live in mutual love, forbearance, and forgiveness; (12-17) and to practise the duties of wives and husbands, children, parents, and servants.” (18-25)

(12-17) “We must not only do no hurt to any, but do what good we can to all. Those who are the elect of God, holy and beloved, ought to be lowly and compassionate towards all. While in this world, where there is so much corruption in our hearts, quarrels will sometimes arise. But it is our duty to forgive one another, imitating the forgiveness through which we are saved. Let the peace of God rule in your hearts; it is of his working in all who are his. Thanksgiving to God, helps to make us agreeable to all men. The gospel is the word of Christ. Many have the word, but it dwells in them poorly; it has no power over them. The soul prospers, when we are full of the Scriptures and of the grace of Christ. But when we sing psalms, we must be affected with what we sing. Whatever we are employed about, let us do every thing in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in believing dependence on him. Those who do all in Christ’s name, will never want matter of thanksgiving to God, even the Father.”

Commentary by Matthew Henry, 1710.

Thank You, Jesus, for blessings received and prayers answered !!!

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

SING UNTO THE LORD

Sing unto the Lord a brand new song;
Sing praises to Him all your lifelong;
For He has sustained and kept you sound;
His blessings upon you daily abound!

Sing – Sing your sweet song of praise;
Ring – Ring your Hand bells and raise;
Your voice to His Honor and Glory be;
Your ringtone – a joyful noise – artfully!

With thanksgiving, let your sweet song begin;
With gratefulness, thank Him for peace within;
In Him, through Him, and with Him, we thrive;
Keep His commandments – Keep hope alive!

Victoriously – Jesus conquered death;
He suffered and bled until his last breath;
Praise Him – Oh, Praise Him – thank Him in song;
For without His gift – we would not belong!

It is said when we sing – then, twice we pray;
Double the praise – sing a new song today;
Raise up your voice – in Psalms praise His name;
Jesus is Lord – let your voice proclaim!

Sing unto the Lord – a new song today;
Rejoice in His blessings a brand new way;
When we give Honor and Glory to Him;
Our hearts fill with joy – right up to the brim!

Good morning, C&C, it’s Tuesday! And it’s state-election day in various places around the country— If that’s you, set aside time to vote. The Childers family has succumbed once again to the post-time-shift immune system collapse, and last night I became the final member to start leaking like an election-night pipe burst in Atlanta. So today’s slightly compressed roundup includes: an election day primer, as Democrats salivate over the chance to claim some a great victory even though all their ‘bellwether’ races are in safe blue states; hungry Snappers go on a budgetary diet; and the surprising and unexpected purchase of Tylenol by a diaper manufacturer creates buzz and gives us a surprising chain of dots to connect.

@HansMahncke

As I read Lindsey Halligan’s 48-page filing, detailing for the first time her case against Comey, two things stand out immediately. First, contrary to fake media and DC establishment narratives, this was always a strong case, supported by a copious record documenting Comey leaking to the media to shape his own false narratives. Second, it completely shatters the “Legally Blonde” stereotype that the media tried to push. Lindsey Halligan is an exceptionally sharp and capable attorney.

kalbokalbs

In time, Comey will cut a deal.

Which includes singing, like a canary.

TheseTruths

You’re probably right, even though I’m having trouble envisioning this. Comey, Brennan, and a lot of others come across as know-it-alls who are so arrogant that they think they had a right to do the things they did and that no one should dare thwart them. They have gotten away with so much for so long, and IMO that fed into their cockiness. For them to be taken down would be a red-letter day for America. If they FINALLY get scared enough to admit even a portion of their crimes and to implicate others, that would seem almost miraculous to me (but a lot of seemingly miraculous things have happened during the Trump years and in America’s history). They deserve to squirm and then to pay for their crimes.

I also think they are so vain that to have their crimes made public is like torture to them. Too bad, so sad. 🎻

The enemies of MAGA and Pres. Trump, even though they claim to support them, are trying to divide us. Israel and Epstein are two of the vehicles they use.

“Spare Me Your Definition of What MAGA is. We’ve Been in the Trenches with MAGA from the Beginning When You Guys Hated Trump” – Steve Bannon Calls Out RINOs following Unhinged Attacks and Cancel Culture Calls Against Popular Right Wing Commentators (VIDEO)

War Room host Steve Bannon slammed Fox host Mark Levin and the neocons for their outrage over Tucker Carlson’s recent interview with podcast host Nick Fuentes, following a recent Republican Jewish Coalition summit where Levin and others bashed Tucker and other conservative media figures.

Since Tucker interviewed Fuentes last Monday, he has received immense backlash from numerous conservatives. Still many prominent conservatives are coming to Tucker’s defense, including Kevin Roberts, the CEO of the Heritage Foundation think tank. Roberts stood behind Tucker’s positions, stating that “Christians can critique the state of Israel without being anti-Semitic,” and “Conservatives should feel no obligation to reflexively support any foreign government, no matter how loud the pressure becomes from the globalist class or from their mouthpieces in Washington.”

He continued, decrying cancel culture and calling for “robust debate” as he slammed the “venomous coalition” behind the attacks on Tucker Carlson.

Levin delivered a speech at the RJC Summit in Las Vegas on Saturday, where he attacked Carlson, Bannon, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Candace Owens, and Fuentes, labeling them “bastards” and “Nazis,” while advocating for cancel culture to be used against them. “You’re damn right we’re going to cancel them and deplatform them,” he said, ironically describing canceling their voices as “the market system.”

WATCH:

Rep. Randy Fine (R-FL) went further, labeling Tucker Carlson “the most dangerous anti-Semite in America” and accusing him of leading a “modern-day Hitler Youth.”

During Fine’s speech, a group of his supporters held signs that read “Tucker is not MAGA” and faced the crowd.

No, as Bannon is saying, you don’t get to define MAGA. The fact that Randy Fine played the Hitler card is revealing.

WATCH:

Bannon responded to these comments by calling out the former Trump-hater, Mark Levin, and Fine for trying to take over and redefine the MAGA movement and America First wing of the Republican Party. He further called Levin and the RINOs out for refusing to fight as the radical left takes over New York City and aims to redistrict states like California to make sure a Republican can never win a congressional race.

Bannon:

There’s not a debating society. We’re not in some salon in the Upper East Side over some tea and martinis. Oh, well, you know, that’s what the National Review, that’s what all these guys at the RJC, out there this weekend, condemning everybody. Just like, remember, remember, they’re the biggest Never-Trump group out there. They had DeSantis. They were all set up. The whole DeSantis thing is their operation. So, please spare me. Please, spare me what you’re going to do. Okay, please. And please spare me your definition of what MAGA is. Okay? We’ve been in the trenches with MAGA from the beginning, when you guys hated Trump initially. You hate Trump all the time except when he’s doing something for you.

Mark Levin, he’s just nothing but hot air. Mark Levin, instead of running your mouth, what are you doing in New York City?

I tell you what we’re doing. We’re going to denaturalize Mamdani, which I told people back that they had to do back when I met with them right after Mamdani won the primary, which they didn’t think he was going to win. I told them he was going to win. So now, what they doing at the end? Oh, we’re gonna move to Miami. We’re gonna move the financial capital of the world. We’re just gonna, we’re just gonna give up on New York. That’s gonna work out fine for the United States of America. Same way they’re trying to quit down in Texas.

It’s easy to surrender. It’s easy to surrender. It’s hard to fight. You’re gonna get called everything in the book. You’re gonna be othered. Who cares? History shows when we stand and fight, we win. If we don’t quit, we win. Our movement is anti fragile. We have resilience. We can take a punch and then punch back harder.

The exception I would make is for Candace Owens who, IMO, is in a category of poor judgment and craziness all by herself and whose opinions, also IMO, should not be heeded.

We can’t let these people divide us, and we can’t let them try to define our movement. They are outliers.

Aubergine

“The exception I would make is for Candace Owens who, IMO, is in a category of poor judgment and craziness all by herself and whose opinions, also IMO, should not be heeded.”

Have you listened to Fuentes? That guy is a Holocaust denier, and a rabid antisemite. He is VILE. He’s also a white supremacist. He has said that a lot of women “want to be raped.” Everything he stands for is horrifying.

There is no place in my life for someone like him. Tucker Carlson will apparently platform any scum in the world if it’ll get him some clicks. No thanks.

TheseTruths

No, I don’t know anything about Fuentes. I haven’t paid any attention to him.

IMO, anyone who says that about women should be shunned. It’s stupid and hateful and defies common sense. Thanks for the info.

Robert Baker

I have, after observing Levin for some time, come to the conclusion that Levin is, unfortunately, more talk than action. But I must always leave room that my conclusion may be inaccurate. I am reminded that none other than Rush Limbaugh held Levin in high esteem. I recall Limbaugh saying more than once that Levin was one of the the smartest men he had ever met. I don’t know if Rush’s view attenuated over the years but I am always somewhat cautious about undervaluing Rush’s opinion. My sense tells me that Levin is a different man now than Rush knew but that is more perception than informed analysis.

TheseTruths

I think Levin probably is very smart.

I don’t know what Rush’s views were on the fact that Levin announced himself to be a NeverTrumper during 2016.

Very Smart does not equal trust worthy.

Levin has to sell ‘good stuff’ 95-99% of the time in order to be able to slip in poison pills like the Convention of States.

Robert Baker

Rush’s comments were from the 90s before Levin ever got into radio. I don’t remember any comments in Rush’s later years on the man. Rush was about Republican aggregation, not division so his silence would be difficult to champion one opinion over the other.

TheseTruths

One must exercise discernment (SD’s favorite word, yes? Lol)

I would vote for “granular” or “construct,” or “granular construct,” but that’s just me. (Sorry; could’t resist. 😂)

TheseTruths

I agree about an Article Five Convention, and have since I first heard about it. There is no one I trust today to tamper with the Constitution. There’s a reason why amending it is an arduous process.

Valerie Curren

This!

Wolf Moon

Love Bannon! He’s so right.

But at the same time, I refuse to hate or renounce Levin OR Tucker OR whoever the “beyond the pale of the day” happens to be.

Agreed – we can’t let these people divide us.

I don’t even make an exception for Candace. Nor do I give a shit about Fuentes. Just be MAGA, stand up for American freedom, and let the loopy people on the extremes (which includes Owens, Fuentes, Kristol, Levin, Loomer, etc.) discredit themselves when they go nutso. When they get sane and speak the truth, say so. When they’re loopy, laugh at them.

People who support Israel need to just plain support Israel when they do, say so openly, and stop trying to “support Israel by canceling its critics”. The latter does damage internally in the US – not good.

I agree – Israel and Epstein are being used to try to break MAGA. Won’t work. Let the screamers go crazy. They will calm down after the manipulators give up inciting them, because it’s not working.

Truth sorts both of them out, and keeps them in line (or out of favor, when they are flaky and wrong).

Bonus thought……

I don’t give a damn about Fuentes. I DO give a damn about the woke leftist who tried to kill him. THAT was an early warning about Charlie Kirk that few if any saw.

TheseTruths

But at the same time, I refuse to hate or renounce Levin OR Tucker OR whoever the “beyond the pale of the day” happens to be.

Agreed – we can’t let these people divide us.

I don’t even make an exception for Candace.

I don’t agree with renouncing someone over one issue because that would be falling into the hands of those who want to divide us, I’m also not in favor of renouncing any of the people you name except Candace. IMO she is toxic to the brand. She can be counted on to bring a degree of crazy that not only makes no sense but that also has no evidence to back it up. Having her as a spokesperson is a sure way to lose people.

I have lost any respect I might have had over her words and actions since the death of Charlie Kirk. They are without excuse, IMO. She appears to be walking on his grave to build her brand and business. And she is publicly blaming Pres. Trump for his death. I don’t see how someone can be MAGA and do that, and I don’t welcome or want to hear from someone who is doing that.

That said, I do object to Levin’s efforts to cancel people.

“You’re damn right we’re going to cancel them and deplatform them,” he said, ironically describing canceling their voices as “the market system.”

He’s a blowhard and it’s not going to work, but when someone supposedly on our side wants to do to us what the Left does, that’s a problem.

But yes, let them “out” themselves and let the pieces fall where they may.

pgroup2

Like I’ve said before, we don’t deserve you.

Okay, we barely deserve you. 😉 😊 😍

Another warning about the need to protect yourself and your loved ones in the medical setting.
Blanket Informed Consent for Biologics Could Be Deadly. A Warning From Dr. Sherri Tenpenny

There’s a linguistic shift happening inside the walls of hospitals, surgical centers, and outpatient clinics — one that most people won’t notice until it’s too late. The word “vaccine” is vanishing from medical consent forms. In its place is a far broader, far murkier term being used: biologics. Let’s clarify some definitions:

• Biologics refers specifically to a class of therapeutic drugs and medical products that are produced from living organisms or their components (e.g., made from proteins, organ cells, tissues, blood, tallow, gelatin, glycerol, etc.). Biologics are specifically regulated medical products that are made from or contain components of living organisms.

• Biogenics is a broader, more general term meaning produced by living organisms or biological processes. It could be anything made by a living organism — plants, animals, bacteria, fungi, etc.

Examples:

• Tree resin (produced by plants)

• Coral or seashells (made by marine animals)

• Methane (from decaying organic matter)

• Alcohol (from yeast fermentation)

Therefore, all biological products are biogenic, but not all biogenic materials are biological products. That means many new, modern medicines labeled “cutting-edge” — from mRNA injections to bioengineered cells — fall into the category of medically regulated biogenic products.

The Redefinition of Medicine

At first glance, it may sound harmless. Buried in the word salad of admission paperwork is a seismic change you might be agreeing to without realizing it. As a patient in a hospital, you could be injected, infused, or implanted with a biologic product you never specifically discussed with your treating physician, simply because the consent form used a broad term like “biologics” or “biogenics” and you didn’t fully understand the scope of that word.

It’s not that the hospital is secretly adding products; rather, the way the consent forms are worded gives them legal permission to use FDA-approved biologics or biologic materials when they are deemed medically necessary, without first discussing the pros and cons of the product.

:wpds_arrow: You can view the full list of biologics on the FDA’s website.  Vaccines are listed among the “approved biologics.” If you blindly sign a consent to receive a biologic, you’ve opened the door to a sweeping range of interventions that go far beyond what most would knowingly authorize.

The purpose of requiring informed consent is to promote the autonomy of the individual in medical decision-making. It is a legal doctrine that supports many of our cherished American ideals about our rights as individuals.

More valuable info
For decades, medical care has been governed by the principle that patients must be fully informed, fully aware, and provide informed consent for every healthcare procedure. It was more than a legal requirement; it has long been an ethical cornerstone. But as PubMed’s 1996 article, Legal and Ethical Myths About Informed Consent reminds us, even the foundation of informed consent came from a murky beginning.
In attempting to ascertain the origins of the phrase “informed consent,” it was first in a 1957 California case; no antecedent cases could be unearthed. The entire informed consent paragraph (in the first informed consent case) was adopted verbatim, and without attribution, from the amicus curiae brief submitted by the American College of Surgeons. It is an ironic twist of history that informed consent was dreamed up by lawyers employed by physicians.
Over time, the standard for truly informed consent has quietly been eroded. In many hospitals and clinics, informed consent forms have become little more than a formality: a few checks in digital checkboxes and a scribbled signature on an iPad. These consent forms are often buried within pages of fine print drafted by attorneys, intentionally dense and difficult to read. Even patients who try to understand the language find it nearly impossible to decipher.
The forms no longer use plain language. Instead of saying “Do you consent to receive the influenza vaccine or a COVID jab?”, the consent form may now ask if you consent to the use of biologic agents. The assumption is that you, the patient, understand that vaccines are biological agents. This raises the question: Is the confusing change in language intentional?
“Medically Necessary Biologics” — The Next Frontier
There is a push to categorize biologics as medically necessary. Once that phrase becomes standard, it reframes these products as non-optional. That’s a linguistic shift that carries enormous implications. If something is medically necessary, then refusing it becomes extremely difficult.
Now imagine being prepped for surgery. You’re told you must sign standard consent for “biologic products as necessary during the procedure.” You sign, thinking it refers to anesthesia, sutures, IV fluids, perhaps antibiotics. Your body then becomes an open field for whatever the institution – or your doctor – regards as necessary: a flu shot, a pneumonia shot, a pertussis shot, a monoclonal antibody infusion, or plasma/blood (perhaps from a COVID-vaccinated donor). You may never know what went into your body unless you ask for the record.
Let’s look closer at what biologics encompass, according to the FDA and Congressional Research Service documents: Vaccines, monoclonal antibodies, gene therapy, whole blood and plasma, stem cells and T-cells, recombinant proteins, and growth factors.
The side effects of biologics vary depending on the specific product and how it is administered. Because these therapies are derived from living systems and often target the immune system, they can produce a wide range of reactions — from mild and localized to serious or life-threatening.
Most biologic drugs carry a risk of allergic or hypersensitivity reactions, since the body often recognizes the biologic as foreign. Those used to treat autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis or psoriasis work by suppressing immune activity, which can increase the risk of infections. When given by injection, biologics often cause redness, swelling, or pain at the injection site; those administered intravenously can trigger infusion reactions, such as flushing, shortness of breath, or a sudden drop in blood pressure.
Common side effects include allergic reactions, injection-site irritation, chills, weakness, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rash, itching, high blood sugar, cough, and constipation. Other frequently reported effects are shortness of breath, leg swelling (peripheral edema), headache, fever, muscle or joint pain, decreased appetite, elevated triglycerides, insomnia, abdominal or back pain, dizziness, and various infusion reactions.
More serious side effects have included low blood pressure, anaphylaxis, serious or opportunistic infections, cancer, serum sickness, autoimmune thyroiditis, blood clots, heart failure, bleeding disorders, interstitial lung disease, hepatitis, enterocolitis, gastrointestinal perforation, stomatitis, anemia, and low white blood cell counts.
Each biologic drug has its own safety profile, and not all patients will experience these reactions. But because biologics act deeply within the body’s immune and cellular systems, their side effects can be complex, unpredictable, and sometimes severe. These products are not something you should be given without knowing the risks!
The Anesthesia Loophole
Anesthetized patients cannot give or withdraw consent in real time. Hospitals know this — and legal teams have prepared for it. That’s why pre-operative consent forms now carry generalized clauses authorizing “treatment using biologic materials.”

The rationale sounds protective: “We need flexibility in case of complications.”

The reality is exploitative: “We can administer what we deem appropriate.”

Under this loophole, you could receive a biologic without your explicit approval. Once it’s in your body, it cannot be undone. While this remains only a theoretical concern at this time, as AI increasingly takes over healthcare and personal options continue to be reduced, it is distinctly possible.
I found court cases where a patient received a biologic without specific consent. (here) (here). I didn’t find a published U.S. case that squarely says: “Because of the single word biologics in a blanket consent, a sedated patient got a biologic they would have refused.” But these two cases demonstrate the core risk is real.

What You Must Do

We are living in a time when words have become deceptive, from politics to healthcare. To protect yourself, you must re-establish your authority over your own body. Here’s a place to start. Print this and keep it with your health insurance card:

1.Read every word. Never sign a consent form that contains vague terms like “biologics,” “biogenics,” or “cell-based therapies” without a full explanation from your doctor(s).

2.Ask direct questions. Ask out loud: “Does this include vaccines, gene therapies, or blood products?” Write their answers and whether you agree or disagree.

3.Refuse in writing. On both digital and paper copies, clearly state: “I do not consent to the administration of vaccines, biologics, or other synthetic materials.”

4.Get a copy. Always request a printed copy or photo of your signed form, especially if it was done on an iPad.

5.Have an advocate. Assign a trusted person to reiterate your refusal verbally and in writing if you are incapacitated. If you don’t have a close friend or family member who can navigate this with you, hire someone from GraithCare.com. They are knowledgeable and worth every penny.

6.Document everything. After discharge, review your medical record and confirm what was administered. Side effects or complications may not materialize for weeks or months.

This is not paranoia; this is precautionary and wise self-care. The same level of attention you’d give to a financial contract should apply even more importantly to your medical care.

Bodily Autonomy Is a Spiritual Battle
At its heart, this is about sovereignty. The right to decide what enters your body — what merges with your cells — is not just a medical decision, it’s a moral and spiritual obligation.
Scripture says our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, not laboratories for untested technologies. To surrender consent to vague, corporate-crafted terms like “biologics” is to give the keys away to your own temple. I believe every human being deserves the dignity of true informed consent, not coerced compliance through deceptive wording.
Closing Thoughts
We are a litigious society, and physicians are always concerned and on the defensive about avoiding lawsuits. The timeless advice from that 1996 article on how you can best be perceived and help your patient’s decision-making process:

The best advice we can give is to treat patients like people, act sensitively and compassionately, and most of all, talk to patients. Have a conversation, have several; remember that this is a process. In this process, you will gradually come to know your patient’s decision-making style. Furthermore, do not press patients to decide quickly. Do not make them think that you do not have time for them. Because if you do, regardless of how much information they are given, they are going to be angry, and another name for an angry patient is plaintiff.

So please, before you sign anything: Stop. Read. Ask. Refuse if you must. Line out what you don’t agree with, initial it, and date it. Your signature implies permission.

So much for Trump being forced to fund SNAP. At least he knows he can’t really do that. Congress has to:

“President Donald Trump declared on Tuesday, the 34th day of the government shutdown, that SNAP food benefits will not restart until Democrats vote to reopen the government.

“SNAP BENEFITS, which increased by Billions and Billions of Dollars (MANY FOLD!) during Crooked Joe Biden’s disastrous term in office (Due to the fact that they were haphazardly “handed” to anyone for the asking, as opposed to just those in need, which is the purpose of SNAP!), will be given only when the Radical Left Democrats open up government, which they can easily do, and not before! Thank you for your attention to this matter,” Trump posted on Truth Social.”

Having trouble falling asleep? Hang on before reaching for the melatonin.

A new study says chronic use of the sleep aid may lead to heart failure — but experts say you shouldn’t panic just yet.

While there are mixed reviews of the latest scientific findings, here’s what the popular sleep supplement could reveal about heart health.

So what options does the Federal Gov’t have to FORCE compliance?

Can we just skip to that part, in every single case?

Can you just DO what needs to be done, instead of cranking everyone up with the latest outrage?

What was the point of “asking” in the first place?

DEMAND it, with a deadline, and a penalty for non-compliance included in the demand, and then enforce the penalty for non-compliance 1 second after the deadline.

Is that so hard?

Crashed after take off. No word if second AC involved.

Seems, Air Traffic controllers, not a factor.

Heartbreaking images coming out of Kentucky tonight.

Here’s an update from @FAANews

– UPS cargo flight 2976
– Crashed around 5:15 ET after takeoff from Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport en route to Honolulu
– The aircraft was a McDonnell Douglas MD-11.

Please join me in prayer for the Louisville community and flight crew impacted by this horrific crash.

The @NTSB and @FAANews are mobilizing to get on the ground and will lead the investigation.

Wolf Moon

Looks like an engine fire on take-off.

scott467

Did they initially come down on the roof of that large flat-roof building, and (effectively) bounce off, regaining enough altitude to go another hundred-plus yards before impact with the ground?

kalbokalbs

No idea. That is a huge slice into the warehouse(s).

Have not seen a video, of the AC coming down.

kalbokalbs

As Wolf posted earlier. Looks like an engine fire, on take off.

BREAKING: Video shows crash of UPS Flight 2976 while taking off from Louisville International Airport in Kentucky

scott467

I wonder what went wrong.

They had to know there was an engine fire.

They were too far down the runway (committed) to abort take off.

The plane should be capable of taking off with one engine.

So the procedure should be to shut down the engine with the fire, take off with one engine, and immediately circle around for emergency landing, if I remember correctly from the Air India crash.

The UN is moving forward with the climate agenda, they are now mobilizing 1.3 trillion annually to push the agenda. Trump has pressured the Fed to lower rates and has now trapped them in halting tightening and they are now going to begin printing. This will push Bitcoin and gold higher. The [DS] is using their old playbook to regain control and leverage. They lost this in 2024 and the people are awake and they can see clearly. They are now using social media to counter this by dividing the movement, we are witnessing a psyop by the [DS], the playbook is known. They need MAGA divided so they can use this division during the midterms, they will use antifa to riot near the polling areas to keep voters away. The [DS] is trying everything to take back control and the midterms is the goal. Trump knows this, countermeasures being deployed.

David Hogg Goes Down In Flames

Scott Jennings just made a FOOL out of 25-year-old Democrat wunderkind, David Hogg.

Hogg used his time on CNN to blame Republicans for the government shutdown, even accusing @ScottJenningsKY of not caring about people in his home state on ACA subsidies.

He was silenced pretty quickly.

HOGG: “The entire reason the government is not open right now is because Democrats refuse to be complicit in having millions of Americans, including 100,000 in Kentucky, you’re home state if I’m remembering correctly Scott, that rely on ACA, that would see their premiums rise several dozen percent.”

When Jennings finally jumped into the discussion, he came armed with the facts and Hogg didn’t stand a chance.

JENNINGS: “But David, you would admit that the ACA was a Democrat legislation, yes?”

“And you would admit that the subsidies that we’re talking about now were passed by Democrats, yes?”

“And you would admit that the sunset provision in the subsidies, which comes up at the end of the year, was in place because of Democrats, yes?”

“Now you want to make it a Republican problem. These are not the same issues.”

“You could open the government today and then you could negotiate with Republicans about ACA subsidies.”

“And by the way, my suspicion is and you know this, there are probably and I know there are some House Republicans that would love to negotiate on it, but under duress, under a hostage taking situation, connecting disconnected issues.”

“And now you’re throwing SNAP onto it. You’re throwing all the federal workers who aren’t being paid onto it, all because of this fight that you wandered into, because of your wing of the Democratic Party.”

“YOU ALL led to this SNAP crisis. You all led to this crisis of the government being closed and you don’t know how to get out of it!”

Wolf Moon

I’m starting to think that the Dems pushed the government shutdown to help their CIA girl win the governor’s seat in VA. All their people had plenty of free time to help the campaign.

Happy go lucky

“Last week, Dick Durbin WANTED to break with Democrats and reopen it, but Chuck Schumer in a private meeting with other senators said, wait until after the election, I’ll release the handcuffs. I’m paraphrasing.” @SenMullin

Aubergine

I’m just wondering when we’re going to wake up, smell the coffee, and realize that you can’t win by playing fair with people who are following no rules whatsoever.

kalbokalbs

Precisely the problem. Dumrats are Neither Fair, NOR Reasonable.

Something Must Change. There must be a legal forcing action.

mollypitcher5

I totally agree.

TheseTruths

That is precisely why they want to end the filibuster, now. It would allow Pres. Trump to enact his agenda in ways that would not otherwise be possible because the Left doesn’t play fair.

What have the Dems done while we played fair with them and while the filibuster was in place? Impeached Pres. Trump twice, stolen multiple elections, used lawfare to indict him and tried to put him in prison for life on false charges, installed rogue judges, fostered chaos and crime, invited the world into our country while ignoring our laws, tried to assassinate Pres. Trump at least twice, and much more.

People are always crying, “Do something!” This would be doing something. It would be furthering the MAGA agenda beyond what could ordinarily be done, in ways that could cripple Dems for years to come.

I do understand where you’re coming from, but I think this is a weapon in our arsenal that we need to use.

I don’t know anything about the rules, but I wonder if the filibuster could be restored after we’ve used its absence to our advantage.

kalbokalbs

Seems Trump is going to GQ over R-Cons, to trash filibuster. Hope Trump does.

REPORT: President Trump is preparing to make GOP Senators’ lives a “living h*ll” if they do not NUKE the filibuster, according to Axios.

“He will make their lives a living h*ll,” one Trump adviser told Axios.

“He will call them at three o’clock in the morning. He will blow them up in their districts. He will call them un-American. He will call them old creatures of a dying institution. Believe you me, he’s going to make their lives just h*ll,” the source continued.

Another adviser emphasized: “He’s really mad about this.”

TheseTruths

I can’t help it; this makes me laugh. Calling them at 3 a.m.-😂

Also, if the Left gets hold of this they will say he’s being a king, which also makes me laugh. He is exerting his will as the leader of the party and the country, and he has a right to do that. Opportunities are sometimes only available during a specific window of time. It’s either seize the day or kick the can down the road, the latter of which Congressional Republicans excel at.

They’re going to get a taste of “Daddy’s home.” I’d love to be a fly on the wall. 😀

Aubergine

I’m in the minority on this one. In fact, here I may be a minority of one. But I think it’s a very bad idea to eliminate one of the few checks whichever minority is in power has over the Executive.

I know Trump wants to implement his agenda, and the filibuster is in his way. But it needs to be in the way when (not if) we have the foul misfortune to be the minority and there is a Demoncrat in the White House.

And saying “the Demoncrats will just do it when the get back in power. Well, maybe they can, and maybe they can’t. They can have defectors. Fetterman comes to mind.

scott467

“But it needs to be in the way when (not if) we have the foul misfortune to be the minority and there is a Demoncrat in the White House.”

_____________

Apparently the demonrats already tried to eliminate the filibuster, and the only reason they failed is because Sen. Krysten Sinema (AZ) and Sen. Joe Manchin (VA) opposed it.

And they’re gone now.

So if the Satanrats get control of the Senate again, there is no one on their side to stop them, and they will eliminate the filibuster.

They have already shown their hand.

So there is no reason now not to do a pre-emptive strike.

We need to do maximum damage to the Left.

We need to blow up the Death Star, or die trying.

Last edited 1 month ago by scott467

comment image

The President and Chief Medical Officer of the Independent Medical Alliance (IMA) released the following statement on the release of a new Melatonin use study coming from a group of researchers connected with SUNY Downstate/Kings County Primary Care in New York City.

“The headlines around this new melatonin ‘study’ are bordering on malpractice. This is not peer-reviewed research; it’s a retrospective chart pull, yet the abstract is being spun as if melatonin causes heart failure. Even NBC News reports the truth hidden in their own story: ‘There’s no evidence that melatonin supplements themselves cause heart problems.’

Exactly. This paper did not control for insomnia severity, metabolic disease, psychiatric disease, or polypharmacy. People who use melatonin are not the same as those who don’t. Insomnia itself is often a marker of stress, chronic illness, menopause, etc.

So what’s happening here? Correlation is being sold to the public as causation. However, here are the facts: size does not equate to rigor, and fear does not equate to science.

Melatonin is a real physiologic molecule with known roles in immune modulation, inflammatory resolution, mitochondrial signaling, and circadian rhythm. Oversimplifying it into a headline scare story may get clicks, but it harms patients….

From OT:

Senate Republicans Furious Over President Trump Acting Like Commander in Chief, Shifting Military Forces Away from Europe
November 4, 2025

SD: “Senate Republicans are not going to sit on their hands and watch President Trump and Secretary Pete Hegseth think they control the United States military.

Recent troop movements away from Senate approved military bases in Romania, combined with the Trump administration not pushing advanced weapons into the battlefield of Ukraine, have Senate Republicans planning to take immediate action to control military operations.

comment image
.

Somewhere in the evolution of Presidential authority, the Senate now affirms they alone have the authority to control the organization, priorities, spending intentions and troop deployments from their chambers in Washington DC.

War must be had according to the upper branch of the legislature. The Senate is not going to accept any effort to work around their foreign policy objectives, regardless of these insufferable ‘peace’ initiatives of the White House.

WASHINGTON DC – […] Armed Services Chair Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) said he’s seen an “unsettling trend” of Pentagon moves that he argues undermine Trump’s stated commitments to NATO and other international efforts — and he singled out Colby’s office in particular. It’s a distinction the Mississippi Republican often makes when criticizing administration policies — President Donald Trump has the right idea, but officials lower down in the administration or Pentagon are going about it the wrong way.

For example, he cited a decision last week to remove a rotational Army brigade from Romania, which Wicker criticized at the time.

comment image

“Members and staff of this committee have struggled to receive information from the policy office,” Wicker said. “This does not match our experience with the first Trump administration.”

“The situation needs to improve if we are to craft the best defense policy,” he said.
[…] Senators also cited other controversies tied to the Pentagon’s policy office that blindsided Congress as well as other parts of the administration — including confusion over a reported pause on some assistance to Ukraine, a review of the AUKUS submarine partnership with Australia and the United Kingdom and a new reshuffling of portfolios in the policy shop.

“I understand media reports can be wrong,” said Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) “But it just seems like there’s this pigpen-like mess coming out of the policy shop that you don’t see” from other offices, he said. (read more)

For those who are critical of President Trump endorsing Senators like Lindsey Graham, please put these kinds of reference points into your contemplations of the dynamics.  The Republicans in the Senate are critically unaligned in their support of Trump’s noninterventionist foreign policy.”
