Many years ago I had a fire lit in my bones for prayer and fasting by the teaching of a man named Lou Engle. Back then, he became a signpost in my life to not be content with anything less than a lifetime of seeking to follow Jesus Christ in fasting and prayer.
He is yet again leading a call to believers to join him in fasting and prayer.
Even if I’m not called to radical fasting at this time, I am honored to participate by adding my prayers in support of this worldwide effort.

I have always believed that Christ’s 40 days was the point of understanding great truths of the universe, followed by rejection of the temptation of that knowledge, self-consistent with that knowledge. Anything we can do to emulate that pattern is good, and I agree that NOW is a particularly opportune point. History NEEDS to make a good, solid, godly turn right now.
I am still very moved by what Candace Owens said – “The Left Needs God”. I think this is possible, and is one of the things I am personally praying for.

Displaying my ignorance yet again – what is the source of “hinge of history”? Lou Enge was my first “hit”, but thereafter it was a term being used by leftists primarily.
Seeking to become a hinge of history is certainly not to be entered into lightly – your call to fasting and prayer is deeply appropriate.
Hinges of history are rarely individuals. Usually pivotal battles or weather. Ie Thermopylae, Napoleon and General winter. (Incidentally Napoleon started his disasterous retreat from Moscow, from which only some ragged scraps of the grande armie returned to France, on the same date that Hitler started his campaign against Russia. Whew, talk about hubris. The father of the French Revolution was charged after the revolution got out of control . A crowd was gathered to prevent his guillotining but a rain storm sent them running for shelter and the execution went ahead. The battle at the gates of Vienna was the turning point in the Islamic invasion of Europe. Trafalgar, the defeat of the Roman army by the German Alaric was a fatal blow to the military strength of Rome.(they recruited foreigner to fill the ranks) .im sure you get my drift. The weather factor is a good book also ?the hinges of history.

I have just completed my first month in a big western city – this after living an rural life almost entirely up till now.
Being polluted by the world seems to be next to impossible in the big city. My wife and I are simple incredulous at the people we encounter out and about. The rat race barely seems to cover it.

Someone told me once that he was one of the “must reads” in the conservative blog’o’sphere before Trump came along. But I’ve never seen the appeal, unless of course your list of sources lacks depth…
EE stopped being one of the “must reads” along about 2010. I know stuff about him, and the situation at RS. His problems predate DJT by a number of years. RS once had the ability to be wonderfully influential in the conservative activism – it ebbed away when they decided they like the money and elitism more than the conservative values.
I can’t find the tweet, but yesterday, there was an excellent response by a conservative to EE, noting that it ISN’T “Forced Speech” but making sure free speech isn’t being denied. It was a good take down of him.
Liken this to the idea that the “STATE” constantly denies Judaic-Christian symbols and activities on any “STATE” property or function – schools, council meetings, etc. in fact, coaches have been fired for praying after games… anyway, by denying free speech to conservatives on federally supported campuses, institutions, they’re enabling only one kind of speech – Leftist propaganda – IOW, these schools are sanctioning only communism/fascism, and denying alternatives. With Federal dollars.
It’s a righteous move by POTUS. This isn’t telling them what to say, as EE chirped, but making sure other voices are supported by our tax dollars.

One thing I want to be very clear on, with my many friends and fellow freedom lovers in Canada, is that the crushing economic pain that Canada is about to feel is NOT my preference.
But let’s be very plain on this: The Canadian government is not working in the best interests of its people, or in good faith with other nations of the world.
To name the elephant in the room, the Canadian government is a socialist regime supported by socialist and globalist financial interests for whom the Canadian people are unimportant tools to retain power. Only the perception of being a free democratic nation is preventing this Canadian government from being identified in the same breath with the governments of Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela as governments that economically repress their own people.
Economic pain serves important purposes at appointed times in history. A good example is the recession of 1983 in the United States when all artificial government protections keeping the economy from shrinking were removed. The short term pain was enormous and felt throughout the nation. But the net effect was that the economy completed a RESET that allowed previously poorly allocated capital to be reallocated. Underutilized economic assets were recalibrated to gain the maximum productivity and return on investment without the artificial constraints that led to their sub-optimal function.
The Canadian government has chosen – either willfully or by virtue of their ineptitude and hubris – the course of massive economic pain. They have sown to the wind, and they will reap the whirlwind.
History has proven on many occasions that the only way a nation changes course from self-destruction to one of freedom and flourishing is by suffering the economic hardships that lead it’s people to hold their leaders and their government accountable.
Draining the coffers of the socialist elite and bankrupting their corruption is a necessary course to create conditions necessary for freedom to flourish. Pain is necessary, but this appointed season in Canadian history demands a pain that results in the awakening and stirring of the free spirit of the people of Canada to take whatever necessary and difficult steps, even if they appear drastic, to bring about a new wave of leadership that reflects the true character of the Canadian people, a new government that is accountable to the people and respects the people, and that unleashes a chained Canada to a new era of economic freedom and prosperity the likes of which Canada has never seen.

There are major players behind CPAC no doubt. CPAC has always had the taint of Uniparty RINOs. They only invite edgy people to attract the young people and to prevent the media from saying they are biased.
Even though PDJT had high praise for CPAC in his speech, he probably knows what’s going on behind the curtain. ‘Complicated business’ and, an expression perhaps more familiar to us throughout the decades (not PDJT’s), ‘a man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do’.
No doubt – he knows and, in the overall scheme of things, certainly not worth making a big stink about.

I read a couple of years ago that’s why there are order-it-yourself counters relying on machines (not people) in some of the stores of at least one fast-food hamburger chain.
Lesson: Do well at school and the prospects of working behind a fast food counter dwindle dramatically.
they installed one of those kiosks at the McDonalds near here…there was one family using it but there were more people in line to speak with an actual cashier. when it got to be my turn, i asked the girl if the kiosk was popular and she said “with young people” but older people still came to her. I said well that’s because that kiosk doesn’t have your awesome smile! (It was a sincere compliment, the girl’s smile could light up half the country!)
We still go into our bank and interact (and get to know) the tellers and managers–I found one gas station where the owner pumps my gas for me, and I go to the Post Office and mail things all the time.
Younger people don’t enjoy face to face activities it seems–they lack social skills…
I’d rather interact with people, too, but there are times I use the self-serve checkout at the supermarket when I want to get rid of a lot of loose change or don’t have much time.
My point was that, eventually, those kiosks make sense financially for the franchise. They’re more accurate, too, and don’t need to be paid or given performance reviews. They also will be there all day every day.
The kiosks will take over eventually. In the meantime, they will provide much quicker service while everyone else queues up for the one or two ‘manned’ counters.
I’d enjoy going into a bank, but our branch closed some time ago. UK banks are pushing people online. It’s expensive for them to pay rent on real estate and local business taxes (‘rates’).
I am not always a germophobe, but those kiosks are not appealing on so many levels…

In a fast-food environment, I’d prefer using kiosks to dealing with someone who isn’t even listening properly. That said, I can’t remember when I last went to a fast-food outlet — nearly 20 years ago, I think.
I confess to loving their fries…but understand that when i say “nearby” it’s 45 minutes away…so I do not indulge often…lol…
I am with Pat on this – 40 minutes away – so when I do go to Norfolk, I always partake of one of them, either BK, Taco Bell, Arby’s, Pizza Hut, etc., etc. We have one restaurant in my town (and, frankly, it sucks) and one Subway. Other than that it is Casey’s or the store where I work (and literally EVERYTHING I wear to work smells of grease).

I’m noting a push to move ppl to use phone-based apps and not just kiosks. It’s happening at the family friendly chains as well so I’m saying this is a bad thing. Chick-fil-A does not use kiosks but they have a pre-order app. Sonic gives 50% drink discounts to app-based orders.
But yes I understand the germophobe thing – I try not to touch any door handles in public places, especially door handles. We’ve been known to take anti-bac wipes with us to clean tables before using them and lots of other things that some ppl think are paranoid. Thing is even a simple thing like catching a little sniffle cold that an adult just takes some cold med for and forgets about can knock a family back for a week as it spreads from kid to kid.
my phone is dumber than I am…it’s a flip phone…takes awesome photos of my thumb, only works if I stand in one certain spot in the kitchen, and if I receive a picture message instead of a text, it dies…lol…so no apps there…

We have them too but sometimes we need something a little stronger to get the job done.
I can understand that. When traveling, I carry anti-bacterial wipes.
I’ve found that hydration, plenty of probiotics via GOOD Greek yogurt, and a couple tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with the mother in a glass of water a day makes a difference as well. Well, until the nephews come to town and go to the trampoline place. That seems to be where they pick stuff up.
For a few small things I will use the self-serve checkout, but beyond that I prefer the regular lines. Besides not remembering all the PLU numbers anymore, the self-checkout systems have their own systems to interact w/ consumers. There is a panel code to convert the self-checkout to a normal register, but of course it’s password protected b/c they want consumers using the consumer version. They intentionally slow consumers down so they have to scan items at a low pace, one at a time, and each item must be loaded in a bag on the scale to know that items are being loaded properly without someone cheating the system. It’s a real pain to use for anything more than $20 worth of merchandise.
Given my choice I’d rather go to a regular register where the clerk run things faster. Even a slower and inexperienced clerk is faster than self-checkout.
For small orders, I like the self check out for the simple reason that I can control how things are bagged. I’ve been known to correct the baggers when they put pickles on top of eggs. And then there are the ones that dump out all the smaller bags from the mother and use it instead of the smaller bags. I’ve learned to only put the smaller ones on the belt.
As for speed, it depends on the store. OUr self-checkouts move pretty fast.
Yeah I get tired of lazy baggers. I often start bagging my own. If a manager sees me the baggers get in trouble 😉 But I know the bags are packed right.
During the week, during the day, I won’t complain too much because the baggers for the most part at the local chains are developmentally challenged. Some are downs, some just slow, but they are not “normal.”
During busy times, a lot of people bag our own, and we are always thanked by the checkers.
It’s the ones where this is the first job, and getting as much stuff in a re-usable bag is a challenge that are the problem. And half of them must be weight lifters.

We just got back from a Sunday trip, nearby town, and stopped in an ice cream store for a hot dog and coffee. While we were sitting, an entire high school baseball team came in, each young man (at least 20 of them?) ordered a cone, or dish and sat down. What got me was that the place was relatively quiet, each on had a cone, and and phone… SMH.

The AOC plant theory has merit – however I think AOC is also a True Believer.
The one thing I can’t reconcile with AOC is that to me it is clear that Team Justice Democrats are very extreme. They wouldn’t intentionally push her in as a poison pill plant. It’s shocking to me b/c whether the genuine intent is to promote leftism or to beclown the Dems it’s almost impossible to tell – their strategy can be explained within both intended constructs.
This leaves open the logical possibility that they want both – promote leftism and beclown the Dems. Update on son-in-law: HE CAN SEE!!!
He had his operation to remove the thickened cataract and that was successful–in the process, they cleaned the cornea and determined that the intense and rapid rise in the pressure of the his eye was due to a clogged tear duct which they cleaned out as well. things went so well during those procedures that they were also able to insert the new lens. He had to keep the protective covering on for a few days, but they have since removed it and he can see! Praise the LORD!

The question, though, was on native salmon species being wild still in the western rivers. Years ago, I do remember going to a hatchery in Jackson Hole. The fish were raised to be food for wildlife, IIRC. That was a while back. Humans, we were told, were low on the totem pole food wise.
TBH, most salmon we see in the USA is either all species of Pacific wild, mostly from Alaska, and farm raised Atlantic. The Columbia, Snake and other western river situations…no clue, but there are salmon ladders in Washington state. At one point, there were sea lions who would sit in the salmon ladders and just wait for them to jump. Yeah, U.S. Fish and Wildlife took care of that.

President Trump’s bombshell speech at CPAC combined with the latest from Q—it truly seems as if all of the puzzle pieces are fitting together. Ever more details from both the President and Q—zero Deltas occurring regularly.
Admittedly, I have been back and forth on Q. At times, totally convinced—sometimes, not so much. Although, from the time Generals and Admirals started endorsing then Candidate Trump, I always considered it possible, if not probable, that somehow the military is behind our President. So when Q came along, it was easy for me to find the project plausible. I think the more one thinks military tactics and psychological tactics—strategy, planning, propaganda, etc…—the more plausible Q becomes.
Furthermore, I have never thought that Q was a negative force. Truth being spread through whatever means at our disposal—is a good thing.
On the other hand, there are times when I have my doubts—but, then I remember that from very early on Q stated that disinformation is necessary—which leads back to my tactical thinking. Bringing me back to Q.
Additionally, I believe different audiences sometimes require different platforms—that is my theory. Perhaps, it is a good thing that there are non-Q sites available to those who are not open or ready for Q—but still need to get the Truth about the corruption. Hit as many demographics as possible to increase the size of the audience. Again…military tactics.

Your post brought tears as in her last video she said it would be her last and she would not be posting more which could mean a lot of things but I do believe God has His hand on her and His purpose for her seems to have been clear to her since a very early age. She said she wants to be a voice for those who had no voice.
It took me back to some of the other videos I’ve seen where other survivors detail similar information. However, she has the best presentation I’ve seen. She is calm, firm, grounded and welcomes the opportunity to answer any questions. I was interested that someone asked about 2 different dates she used on 2 different videos and she explained that her handler had given her one date and later she met with a relative who gave her another which resonated more with her and her memories of the events in relation to her age at the time.
I do believe from what I’ve seen there are survivors coming together into groups to share their experiences and they are unafraid in a way most of us cannot comprehend.

We took our Ram-Lamb 🐏 with us yesterday since he had to be fed twice while we would be gone. He spent 3 hours on my lap and several hours charming lots of kids and adults. One lady begged me to let her take him home for a while to show her 85 year old Mom who grew up on a farm. So off went our lamb to cheer up another elderly lady.
There is nothing quite like a lamb to get strangers talking and put smiles on faces.
When we got home we had three Ewe-Lambs jumping up and down and demanding their bottles after having to eat that yucky hay all afternoon. 🐑 😁
I think Ram-Lamb was a Premie since his head is FINALLY starting to match his body and his rack of bones body is filling out. His head was MUCH too big for his body when he was first born. He is also a lot slower gaining weight compared to the Ewe-Lambs and can only eat 1/2 what they do at a time. So he comes with us if we have to leave the house for any length of time. I think he likes to ride in the truck. 🤣

I helped a friend pick up a milk cow as a tiny calf… She drove the truck and I had the calf on my lap in front. Unimaginable things happened in the 10 minute drive back to their farm…

How to say this so no-one misunderstands…….first and foremost, my heart breaks for Patrick and his family. However, we are all going to die at some point. IMO, aside from the terrible pain he will no doubt endure, this is a blessing for Patrick that he has the time to prepare himself, and his loved ones as well, for his passing. I have often wondered how I would want to die…..suddenly, shockingly with no prior warning? Or have the time to get my affairs in order, to prepare to meet God, to prepare my loved ones, friends and family? Yes, it would be an awfully scary thing but I much prefer knowing and perhaps having that one last opportunity to make amends somewhere or fix a wrong. Just my thoughts…..

This strengthens the conclusion that POTUS’ use of “bye” was deliberate.

I told him about some of the codes and the amazing coincidences of Q’s timing and PDJT’s Tweets, that we believed Q+ was PDJT, then said something about PDJT doing the Air Q. He was puzzled and knew nothing about it. You should have seen his face when I explained and told him about the Air Q @ CPAC and all the other times he has done it at rallies. He was ALL excited and said “well, if Trump likes it, I’m in!”
