Thought I’d share an old discussion from 4chan about media brainwashing and MKULTRA. In short, someone claiming to have worked as a CIA contractor during the Soviet era claims one of the scientific studies they worked on involved studying the media’s effect on the human brain. This person claims that the human brain processes the fictional information from movies and TV shows and treats it as though it were real life. This causes people to unconsciously emulate what they see on TV. This person claims that the CIA used this research to weaponize Hollywood and brainwash people into the current mess we see now.
Ever since I read this discussion, I’ve been re-watching stuff from my younger years. It’s rather scary, honestly, how much I had consciously forgotten but still shows up in my dreams and daily life. That part of your brain never forgets, apparently. Be mindful of the entertainment you consume. That’s all.

The event that really lit me up as to the amount of mind-control out there was the Rural Purge, which even has its own wikipedia page — https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rural_purge — and which I lived through. All my favorite shows got shafted, which naturally led to concerns that I might be exhibiting wrongthink. I mainly abandoned television in the early 80s, partially because of this.
But when I got red-pilled, and realized it was part of a deliberate strategy to emphasize urbanism, it catalysed a lot of perception as to how modified our media has been. You put the glasses on, and PBS isn’t Mr. Rogers…..it’s Sesame Street trans indoctrination. Garrison Keillor may have poked fun at Bill Clinton, but only to blunt his scandals — where his treatment of the Bushes was to manufacture scandal, even in cases where it might not exist.
All of this dims, of course, in a post-Trump era……so many masks have been ripped off, so many institutions have been revealed to be partisan hackery, so many individuals have been shown to be ideological cheerleaders frantically attempting to claim authenticism through worthless credentials…..

Here is how I detected the EXACT EFFECT they are reporting.
By cutting out all TV and cable, including MSM news and shows, music videos with any signs of manipulations (obvious cultural Marxism, cult or “their” symbols, etc.), negative music, and most importantly MOVIES, I basically ZEROED OUT THEIR SHIT. I began in early 2016, so we are about 3 years into my experiment. The brainwashing is ALMOST GONE.
I have found that when I DO expose myself BRIEFLY to any of this shit, it does NOT look like it did to me before. None of it is “cool” – all of it is suspicious. Most interestingly, I find it “psychologically painful” – it literally hurts and makes me CRINGE. It’s almost TRAUMATIC.
They are exposing us to TRAUMA. They are making us have a kind of very mild PTSD.
Example: that Pulp Fiction video that Big T showed. Just 3 years ago, I thought that was COOL AS F***. Now, it HURTS ME to hear murder and Bible verses mixed together, and I can tell INSTANTLY that it’s cultural Marxist manipulation being pushed on us through GUILT-ASSAULTED Quentin Tarantino. His mind is MESSED UP, and he creates MESSED UP XXXX for them.
SO – THAT is the observational background for what I’m going to report now.
Like I said, I will occasionally allow myself to be exposed to a bit of this crap – typically “less nasty” stuff. Usually it’s because my wife wants to watch something, and I just let it play in the background without headphones, so that it’s a MILD EXPOSURE.
This level of exposure is useful for stuff where the signal / noise ratio is LOW – and that is exactly what I’m trying to detect – the background psychological radiation – what I call FAKE NORMAL.
Headphones with Christian or “old” country music are EXTREMELY USEFUL to shield from the “FAKE NORMAL” that fake news and fake entertainment will produce if you let either one run “mindlessly” (NOT!!!!) in the background. It is literally UNSAFE – even if you don’t pay attention to it. [WHY? Because of the effect that Sadie is reporting!!!] But if I turn off the headphones, I can “low dose” the shit and see what happens.
What I found is that I actually SPEECH MIMIC the characters – almost subconsciously. It is FREAKY. It’s not intentional – it’s somewhere between unconscious and subconscious. But we PARROT small patterns in their speech, intonation, mood, and other things. Not all together – not all at once. But we PARROT what might be called “micro-expressions of speech and manner”, and we seem to have little control over it.
I ASSUME this is a kind of socialization / body language / language thing which AIDS SOCIALIZATION. We do it unconsciously because it WORKS as HUMANS.
This also means that if our population is polluted with SHILLS who model the weird crap they want, they can CHANGE US FASTER – especially if the shills have significant influence.
Now – here is where this hooks up with something else I once noticed. Because I personally use a lot of interesting phraseology and tiny twists of English “in real life”, I can observe if other people pick these little stylings up. I also spend a lot of time around a wide variety of people who are “different” from myself. A really “diverse” sampling of humanity.
Most native-born American English speakers don’t pick up any microexpressions of speech or personal mannerisms from me, although some do. In other words, FAKE NORMAL burns stuff in very hard, and more so than EACH OTHER. Our MEDIA is controlling us – NOT OUR SOCIETY.
BUT – and this freaked me out – both ESL (English as a Second Language) and English as a Late Primary Language speakers DID pick up this stuff VERY NOTICEABLY in PARROT-LIKE FASHION. Not just from me, but from others. I assume that is because they are SOCIALIZING MORE RAPIDLY to our culture and mannerisms, and pick stuff up from REAL PEOPLE – if they associate with them. It’s part of ASSIMILATION.
We assimilate like small regions of a solution, as a solute spreads in the liquid. Very beautiful.

Now my reaction to the TV programs I occasionally see/hear at friends is disgust/revulsion because they are so inane and anti-normal behavior. While my friends may find the sit-coms amusing, I do not ‘get’ the humor at all instead I find the ‘humor’ revolting.
The music of today I classify as flat out IRRITATING NOISE and do my best to avoid.
I mentioned yesterday that one of the Huxley’s I think it was said they would change people by gradually introducing the un-acceptable until it became accepted as normal. That is what I am seeing. I remember when The Simpsons first premiered on TV. It caused national controversy at the time because the children were “foul-mouthed” and “rude to their parents.” Bart Simpson saying “this sucks” was the equivalent of saying a curse word. Now it’s one of the tamer things on TV. This was the early 90s. So much has changed since then, and that wasn’t all that long ago…

My kids’ Catholic School sent home a letter strongly discouraging watching that show. We were surprised at the number of kids who were allowed to watch it. Not in my house!

Actually I liked one guy’s idea. He hooked the TV up to a generator run off an exercise bike. You want to watch TV??? Start pedaling. Who ever is pedaling gets to pick the show. NO BICKERING over channels.

I watch only the old TV Westerns, TCM and some Hallmark movies. Long ago gave up regular TV. Ended entirely watching FOX news in 2016 – but had already abandoned almost all their shows. Finally gave up on Dobbs because I couldn’t stand his pounding the table every night demanding POTUS move on his (Dobbs) terms, and not POTUS’ terms.
The big shift in the value system occurred in the 60’s – where TV went from wholesome family oriented, moral and God-centered shows, to the breakup of the family, everyone sleeping with someone else, etc. etc. We see the same thing in the TV commercials today – you’d think there weren’t any normal people or whites left in the country based on what we see.
“Personal experience” is also the reason why I’m inclined to believe that 4chan post. I had an extremely vivid and meaningful nightmare last year. There was a very specific symbol in the dream. I never really knew how to interpret it until I started re-watching stuff. It turns out the symbol in my dream was directly from one single TV episode I had watched over five years ago. I had utterly forgotten about it (at least consciously) until this re-watch. It sat dormant in my brain for that long until the right “trigger” came along to bring it back into my conscious. To think that one throwaway detail on a throwaway episode of TV would embed itself that deeply into my mind is utterly terrifying to me. What the hell else is it doing to my brain that I don’t know about it?
So now I’m re-watching stuff from my younger years to try figure out what else I may have unconsciously picked up. That, and because I don’t feel comfortable adding anything “new” to the mix. I probably shouldn’t be watching this garbage at all, but I consider it an “archaeological dig.”

What you just found is the NATIVE, natural version of a KEY to “orphaned” memories – just like my broken MK amnesia, where I created a stray object memory (key) that was unaccounted for, and which allowed me back into an “encysted”/”orphaned” set of memories. I have no idea how that works, but it’s a beautiful technology. People are NEVER going to catch on. Think how much CONTROL that offers.

I experienced for about a week a negative reaction towards POTUS tweets and I even was unable to sit through his speech or rally. I love the guy and could not figure out why I reacted negative toward tweeting and speeches.
You all helped me out and a bulb when on. I had been listening to Hanity in the afternoons and sometimes click on other Fox shows like Judge Janine, Tucker and so on. I watch them on YouTube.
I realized why they are not negative they bring negative people on their shows to debate or replay CNN or MSNBC. They also repeat all the negative stuff that go around .
There is a psychological component in the negativity specially the repeated complaining about twitter or negative about POTUS. I am oversaturated and it has come through well-meaning shows who are supporting POTUS playing the negative from CNN and CNBC.
I am glad I figurers this out and will turn my computer down so not to subject myself to the negative.
I am now skipping even on boards over any negative stuff from other places that are created in negativity.
We are at psychological war.
Wolf warned about that and I was certain I am immune to it. The negativity is draining.

I, too, have to step back..even from this group’s intensity as a self- protecting mechanism. I’m seriously concentrating on looking for and enjoying the beauty and joy in everyday things…things that I can somewhat control. A tiny, simplistic example …instead of “throwing dinner together” i’m really looking at the perfect fresh veggies I look for and attempt to prepare them in a grateful manner. Silly, I know but hopefully you get the drift of “stopping to smell the roses” goals. I used to find making bread most rewarding in the manner you do, SS.
Selling our property and downsizing may be in our future so I am going through literally every cabinet in this very large house and making piles to pass along. I remember 40+ years ago going to estate sales and thrilled to acquire many of these things…now I will give that thrill to others. Again, this is an action within my control and it is a enjoyable, liberating experience.
Although i’m sure I will get hammered for this, I find the conversation about “desensitized” programming somewhat ironic. I see a LOT of that right here…looking at you, Wolf. I find the constant fuck language very off-putting…and find myself scrolling right past it and perhaps missing the entire point, in my opinion, it’s not necessary and gives in to the lowering of standards argument (desensitizing) attributed to “them.” We get it. Why fall into the same trap?
Personal note…hubby started experiencing chest pains Tuesday night…had several episodes throughout the night and scared him to death. I stayed up the entire night monitoring him. Had a early morning nuclear stress test yesterday and was admitted directly into the hospital..scheduled for stent procedure this afternoon. This is a perfect specimen of an older man…excellent physical condition and perfect blood work…and has only been hospitalized once in the last 49+ years with a very minor problem. Needless to say, it was a shock to all, and he’s having a difficult adjustment to the entire idea. But, he’s very impressed with the team of doctors, so that helps.
From the 30,000’ perspective, this “reality check” is probably a good thing…makes you focus on not only the immediate future but also what is really important in the remaining years. When your family lives to 96, you tend to take it all for granted and put things off. While we were waiting in the nuclear lab, he was whispering reverse mortgages, taking out a social membership to the golf club, etc….I actually stared at him in amazement because in 40+ years of marriage I could never even pin him down about funeral arrangements… ‘cause he was going to live to almost 100 , like both parents, so why talk about it. Funny how life happens.
My profanity is somewhat calculated, and somewhat not. While I’m fighting my own demons (the “not” part), I’m also very intentionally creating a window of free speech in multiple dimensions that is going to serve as a battle-space. I need certain people who are “made comfortable or brave by a sin not their own” to feel free to post their true thoughts and feelings within the freedom I create.
I have to inflate the free speech here, while at the same time not losing too much (what you are saying) by what it takes to push the envelope.

Forgot to mention it earlier, but I strongly recommend keeping a dream journal and a journal of any noteworthy observations in your daily life. It goes a long, long way toward detecting patterns and figuring some of this stuff out.

Over the weekend, I brainstormed a whole post based on things I can remember from movies, books, and television that I think are the wacko stuff “they” are trying to get us all used to, and hiding in plain sight actual capability militarily, etc. I was a kid in the 70s, so beyond the anti-war stuff, I can’t speak to that decade unless I come across it, like a certain Barney Miller clip.

Stuff like sick scientists using humans for experimentation and then using a pig farm to get rid of the evidence. The Podestas may own pig farms, but that only happens on tv shows, right?

Actually the USA WAS using humans for experimentation. My mother was one of their victims in the 1960s radiation experiments. They burnt her chest to a crisp and I mean literally having the skin turn black and flake off. It also effected her brain. She lost her total recall and became child like and very timid. It was horrifying to watch.
After that they used her for Chemo experiments. I had read that Chemo weaken the heart in Chem Engineering News so when she had heart problems I talked to her doctors.
Heart Doctor: I Know nothing about Chemo
Cancer Doctor: I Know nothing about the heart.
I finally convinced her to quit the chemo a couple of days before she died of a heart attack at age 62.

(2) Human experimentation is a bit of a touchy subject for me. I cannot forgive it for what happened to other people, but I can forgive it for my own case – because I’m now thinking that’s basically what happened to me at some point – if not the MK stuff, which had to be still somewhat experimental at the time (particularly carfentanil induction), then something else. It may actually impact my parents as well, but I would have to know things I still don’t know about them.
I grew up in the SHADOW of World War II. I learned more about Hitler in my young childhood than most adults know today. My parents were a product of World War II. My parents scared the HELL out of me. This is why I have a forgiving perspective on Sidney Gottlieb in my own case.
People were SCARED. The people who knew stuff I didn’t know as a kid – they were REALLY, REALLY scared. And if any of the Jewish scientists of THAT TIME were putting the clues together like I am now – well – they had to be carrying suspicions and fears that were OFF THE CHARTS.
My father was working on crap that impacted all this stuff and he didn’t even KNOW IT. Or maybe he DID. My mother – lots of questions. Stuff she told me that I don’t think she was supposed to tell me. Was it true or a sanitized version?

I’m alive. Nobody is shooting at me. The scars have healed. After the stories I heard as a kid, I’m thinking I have it pretty good.

I watched a lot of Fox News during the 2004 campaign season, and of course I had to fight with my roommate at the time about whether we were going to watch the state funeral of Ronald Reagan on CNN or on Fox News. As biased as the coverage was then, it’s become much worse since. There really is no pretense of telling the truth at all – it’s literally all narrative engineering every minute, IOW lies designed to distort the public’s OUR perceptions of reality.
I did not renew the cable service after that election – the dumb news was taking too much time away from my reading and my research.
But it wasn’t just that, the entertainment was toxic. For a while there was a trend in some corners of the Christian and apologetics community to be focused on “culture” and how Christians should supposedly think Christianly about popular culture. Some people had genuinely good insights – but frankly, most of it was just people making excuses for their excessive consumption of movies, TV shows, popular books/fiction, video games, music and music videos.
You mentioned Pulp Fiction, one example that stood out to me was a Christian woman whose Masters had been in some arts area, who started a group to discuss arts and culture from a Christian perspective. So far so good right? She was deeply imbibed in the movie “Hero” which the same messed up producer created – a man who wanted to destroy the notion that there was any one real truth, and that the only truth that mattered was power and who could rush to claim the moral high ground first. She was overwhelmed with the “Christian” themes of sacrifice for others and for a supposedly noble cause and the parallels to Christ. She couldn’t see or accept that those parallels were intentional and designed to be subversive. The great hero of the story was a liar who deluded himself into believing he served the highest noble cause to justify his actions including betrayal to his cause. By design the movie never told us the truth of what happened – it was set up in the beginning in this slick postmodern way that we never know what the truth was, and the narrative of truth is controlled by ruthless power. The woman who started the discussion group was unwilling to consider anything outside her own literal hero worship of the film.
A lot more I can say on this but not worth getting into. She was far from an isolated case. And it also informed me later how deeply embedded neo-marxism was in the churches, appropriating all Christian art and culture to push anti-Christ neomarxist themes.
So to cut this off without telling more stories, effectively I cut off a lot of my cultural consumption (what others I felt were doing was conspicuous consumption – reveling and showing off their cultural appetites in an appeal to intellectual status) and stopped watching movies based on other people’s opinions. Not all movies of course – I still watch Babbette’s Feast from time to time. There are some that came through that promote goodness and morality – I asked for opinions on good movies that celebrate America on Marica’s blog recently and a lot of people had good suggestions.
So for me, my family and my kids… No cable/satellite, no broadcast TV. No Netflix, hulu or streaming from companies that are anti-thetical to my beliefs and values. No binge watching garbage TV shows. No crap fiction – no Harry Potter books in this house. No video games that frankly glorify evil. No mindless youtube surfing. All tablets and devices are locked down with parental controls. No TVs or devices in the kids bedrooms. They have these ancient devices called “CD Players” they can use to play their kids CDs. I have two radio stations I listen to in the car which are extreme vetted – one is the classical station which occasionally has these poseur upper crust types that drone on but they’re generally easy to ignore.
Some people this would be a huge shock to their system, like trying to quit smoking but still having to feed the addiction. But we have not missed it.

I read and do things outside in my yard and feel like things are normal in my head without the idiot box . She was rather snidely attacked in most venues of the print media. But in 2002 Pinker published The Blank Slate, in which he defended her ideas, and claimed that her book had solved some otherwise classic problems with which he had been wrestling.
As an example, a key problem for psychologists and linguists is why 1st generation immigrants, no matter how intelligent, well-educated, or capable of eloquent, grammatical speech in their adopted language, nearly always continue to speak with a foreign accent, whereas 2nd generation immigrants (i.e. the 1st generation’s children born in the new country,) no matter how impoverished or poorly schooled, can almost always speak the new language with a flawless native accent and grasp of idiom, even when raised in their parental home.
This has been observed as a worldwide phenomenon, and Rich Harris’ theory was apparently the first solution to be successful as a solution.
Here is something interesting. If I apply Judith Rich Harris’ theory back in time, I know of a speech pathology case that DEMONSTRATES THIS in a very convincing way, back in the early 1960s, but it also demonstrates principles underlying the TRANS-KID narrative – the idea of PEERS VYING FOR ATTENTION BY ADOPTION OF CORRECTION.
Basically, one kid undergoing speech therapy induced others to self-identify similar problems, even though less problematic.
Children AUTOMATICALLY CORRECT to match their peers, and they likewise AUTOMATICALLY MATCH CORRECTIONS BY THEIR PEERS.

When Sarah first heard that she would become pregnant in her old age, the notion was so far-fetched that she couldn’t contain her laughter (see Genesis 18:12). A year later, at the age of 91, Sarah delivered her firstborn son Isaac, and she laughed again—but this time with joy, saying, “God has brought me laughter, and everyone who hears about this will laugh with me” (Genesis 21:6). God took her laughter of sarcasm and gave her the laughter of salvation. What a God we worship!
Read Genesis 21:1-7. As incredible as it was for a woman who was barren and in her nineties to have a child, Sarah’s experience is really not all that unique. You see, the birth of Isaac is a picture of a deeper spiritual reality that is available to everyone in Jesus Christ. Every single person who puts their trust in the Lord experiences a miracle that makes Sarah’s blessing pale in comparison. Being born again is the greatest miracle there is. And in this passage, we can see four similarities between Isaac’s birth and the believer’s new birth.

The birth of Isaac is a picture of a deeper spiritual reality that is available to everyone in Jesus Christ.
First, the birth of Isaac was humanly impossible. The bodies of Abraham and Sarah, for all intents and purposes, were dead. Though they were living, their bodies were dead. And that’s precisely what we were before our hearts were awakened by the Holy Spirit (see Ephesians 2:1).
Second, both births required faith. The Bible says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness” (Romans 4:3, cf. Genesis 15:6). It’s the same way with our new birth. God’s Word says, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31).
Third, both miracles come completely from God and are not based on our works, so God gets all the glory (see Ephesians 2:8-9).
Finally, Abraham’s story was not written for him alone but also for us (see Romans 4:23-24). In the same way, God wants to use your life and mine to reach others for Jesus Christ.
This is the laugh-out-loud joy that Sarah discovered. And it is our joy as well. It comes from realizing just how amazing the love of God truly is!

After the second one, the skin gets stretched to the point that it really does not look natural. My voice teacher had one that really distorted her, and I know it wasn’t her first.
The other thing about the “success” of such surgeries is the muscle tone of what is under the skin. Pelosi is aging. The muscles are showing that now that her skin is so stretched.

I’ve seen too many. Nipping and tucking is one thing. A full on face lift where the skin is lifted and pulled is something else. I saw one woman, years ago, who had obviously had work done on her nose. You could see the chisel marks on the bone under the skin.
When plastic surgery is done well, you really aren’t supposed to be able to tell.
