In it, he makes clear a number of critical truths regarding our Republic, the Presidency, our nation’s domestic enemy the political left, and the intentional damage the left is doing to our Republic. “Immediately after President Trump won election, opponents inaugurated what they called “The Resistance,” and they rallied around an explicit strategy of using every tool and maneuver available to sabotage the functioning of his Administration. Now, “resistance” is the language used to describe insurgency against rule imposed by an occupying military power. It obviously connotes that the government is not legitimate. This is a very dangerous – indeed incendiary – notion to import into the politics of a democratic republic. What it means is that, instead of viewing themselves as the “loyal opposition,” as opposing parties have done in the past, they essentially see themselves as engaged in a war to cripple, by any means necessary, a duly elected government.
The fact of the matter is that, in waging a scorched earth, no-holds-barred war of “Resistance” against this Administration, it is the Left that is engaged in the systematic shredding of norms and the undermining of the rule of law.“

My suspicion is that Barr has “the goods” to criminally indict about 35 current Senators and 100 current Reps. If he tries to negotiate a graceful way through, he becomes complicit. If he indicts, there’s 35 guaranteed votes in the Senate to impeach VSGPOTUSDJT and anyone else who would maintain Barr’s employment (not that he’s worried about it from an employment standpoint — but it wouldn’t sit well if he were stifled). If he indicts one, the rest may stampede. But it would be so wrong (and complicit) if he let them all go free after seeing the depth of the corruption. Sessions had this information as well, and the massive GOP retirements prior to 2018 was from him telling people to start running the statute of limitations.
He also has enough to blow up the NSA (20%), CIA (80%), FBI (70%), State (80%), a chunk of the Military (20% — mostly stationed in DC or of high rank), and a large part of the holdover DoJ (80%). He has to “tag” enough of each to make it unthinkable for anything like the present coup to be repeated, but not enough to hollow-out the useful parts of each service.

They know what’s going on far better than we do, because it’s happening to them, and they all talk to each other. Why watch their enemy gloat about it?
