Hong Kong Election Results

Freedom is easy……. when it’s not in danger. A challenge to freedom, awakens a sleeping giant.

The results of the Hong Kong Elections, after 6 months of protests, are a staggering win for the Pro-Democracy effort and a slap-heard-round-the-world, to Beijing.

From RTHK:

“…… no one was predicting that the pro-democracy camp would win a majority of seats – much less almost all of them.”

“While official results are yet to be announced, partial counts suggest that opposition candidates should win an overwhelming majority of the 452 District Council seats up for grabs, and may have a winning ratio of as high as nine-to-one.”

Seven out of eight pro-democracy lawmakers who fought for a seat in the polls won, with the exception of Council Front lawmaker Chu Hoi-dick, who lost to independent Lai Wing-tim in Yuen Long.

https://news.rthk.hk/rthk/en/component/k2/1494226-20191125.htm?spTabChangeable=0

From the Sydney morning Herald, even better news.

“…… yielded a landslide win to pro-democracy candidates, delivering a strong rebuke to chief executive Carrie Lam from the people of Hong Kong and shocking Beijing ……

” ……3 million people in a city of 7 million queued to vote in the local election held every four years, or 71.2 per cent of registered voters. At the previous election just 47 per cent voted.

By Monday morning pro democracy candidates appeared to have won a stunning 390 of the 452 seats and were on track to control at least 17 of 18 district councils. (emphasis is mine)

https://www.smh.com.au/world/asia/hong-kong-voters-deliver-pro-democracy-message-in-de-facto-referendum-20191125-p53dod.html

Beijing is rather surprised, insisting, no matter what, Hong Kong is still part of China…….. they would not allow “Separatists” to run for office.

Separatism is banned under Hong Kong law. But Wong’s last-minute substitute, Kelvin Lam, won the seat of South Horizons West. Wong wrote on Twitter: “I’m extremely delighted to announce that, despite my disqualification by Beijing, my backup candidate Kelvin Lam has won in South Horizons West with 57 per cent of the vote.”” (Sydney Morning Herald)

Take a few moments and look at this website for election results. Pro-Democracy is green. Look at all the green!

America was watching as well.

Somewhat satisfying to watch the NYTimes forced to admit Communism FAILED when elections take place.

Even the South China Morning Post had to admit losing control in 17/18 districts. How on earth can the CCP keep news of this landslide win from the people on the mainland?

Freedom tends to spread like wildfire…….

The Chinese Foreign Minister looks constipated. Bwwhhwhahaaa.

THIS IS WHY AMERICA IS SO IMPORTANT!

LOOK AT THE CELEBRATION.

“This is a sensitive time for the CCP.”
___________
And if the jackbooted thugocracy CCP is about anything, if it stands for anything historically, it’s sensitivity…
Great news for the People of Hong Kong!
Panda with the gas mask and bristling with stolen technology and weapons like an animal caricature of Rambo forced to slither back to the dragon cave unfed.
This is the time for maximum international pressure, which of course means America while the Euroweenie criminal political-class holds our coats and searches frantically in vain to stick a knife in our backs on behalf of their devil worshipping, child murdering masters.
Eat it, Cabal.

scott467

“Beijing restates support for Lam despite Hong Kong election results.”
_____________
When 90+ percent of the people tell you to F.O., that means nobody cares what the organ-harvesting, child-raping monsters in Beijing think about anything.
If the Chinese People decide they like what Hong Kong is doing, the CCP can swing like Mussolini.
And the entire PLANET would celebrate.

scott467

Lam is a sock-puppet of the Organ Harvest Atrocity Party.
Welcome to it, Lam.

Cuppa Covfefe

DO YOU HEAR THE PEOPLE SING?
That last column looks like someone put their foot down – kind of like when Godzilla met Bambi, or the foot from Monty Python (except that this is in a GOOD way)…

scott467

I’m DEFINITELY hearing it. 👍

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I’m actually more struck by the fact that Hong Kong, which ought to have seen the benefits of freedom under the UK, went majority Pro-Beijing immediately after the handover, and even before the handover.

churchmouse

I never understood that, either.

Cuppa Covfefe

One might say the CCP just encountered the Wrath of Kong…
(OK, Hong Kong…).

Brave and Free

God Bless PDJT! This never would have happened without him as President!

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

It NEEDS to spread there – in a way that maintains stability.
If China was Trumpian about this, they would realize what this means. Being MORE LIKE HONG KONG is the WAY FORWARD.
If China becomes MORE LIKE Hong Kong and Taiwan, they won’t have to expend WORK to hold things together.

scott467

If half a billion people started marching toward Beijing, the CCP would evacuate.

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

Yup. And they would still claim popular legitimacy, even if they did so while holed up in some Rothschild estate wine cellar, watching the parades in Beijing on a hastily hooked up big screen television!

scott467

“I think you’re correct, B&F.”
______________
100%.
DJT made the entire trade negotiations contingent upon China not using the hammer on Hong Kong.
Nobody else did that, none of the Eurofags did that, just DJT.
Now that they held out long enough to show the whole world an overwhelming vote for freedom, the atrocity-loving CCP has to either slither away or show the whole world what kind of Satanic monster it really is.
When a monster like that turns tail, don’t just let it go to regather its strength and return with payback.
Apply maximum pressure, cut it off, and starve it out.

Brave and Free

Totally agree. The question now, how is PDJT going to use this to his (MAGA) advantage?

Wolf Moon | Threat to Demonocracy

The extradition of Hong Kong people to “mainland” China is no more valid than extraditing mainland people to Hong Kong! It is STUPID. The mainland created this problem themselves.

kea

Thank goodness they did Wolf.

GB Bari

Interesting comparison. But…horse-cart or cart-horse? One wonders if the fact that tear gas was thrown more frequently in certain areas was more because those areas had the most fervent pro-freedom protest demonstrations. The persistence of those protests probably indicated a much higher propensity of the local populations to vote for freedom than for CCP oppression.

scott467

“Here’s another link for breakdown. I’m so happy when the good guys win!!!!!!!!”
_____________
This is why demoralization is so important to the Cabal.
They need to keep people divided, isolated and scared.
Winning is uplifting, it is healing, it is encouraging, it is invigorating, it inspires hope and motivates the People to unite in causes bigger than themselves, which is all that is ever needed to stop the Evil Ones.

jamcooker

Looks like psy ops, doesn’t it? Just not very good psy ops.
BTW, love all the various graphics, they really show a lot of information.

scott467

“He’s in for a big surprise. ”
_____________
He’s a pig.
Once a jackboot, always a jackboot.
That’s why they make piano wire.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

What, it’s not just for pianos any more?????!

scott467

“What, it’s not just for pianos any more?????!”
_____________
It could be, if you dropped a piano on a jackboot.
Mostly I have only seen that in cartoons though. I suspect the problem is getting the piano to a rooftop and maneuvering it into place in order to drop it on that special someone.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

The same issue exists with safes and anvils.

Cuppa Covfefe

Yep. Anvil with care, as they’re usually unsafe…
(There’s a great Laurel and Hardy short of them trying to lift a piano up to the second floor (or so) of a building, using a rope pulled across a ceiling light fixture. It didn’t work out too well for the upstairs neighbor, the light fixture, and most of all, the piano…but it was great fun)….

ozzytrumpster

It’s so much easier to attach the piano wire to the jackboot neck and March him off the second floor

scott467

Unless the jackboot has a beanie.
With a propeller.
And a chin strap…
In which case the jackboot will just hover, and mock you with derision.
Which is probably why jackboots are usually hung upside down.
To prevent the propeller beanie escape.
It’s amazing how history’s mysteries sometimes explain themselves, if you just meditate on them a little while.
[Sorry Ozzy, I didn’t mean to leave you hanging like that, I just couldn’t think of a good comeback… as you can see 😁 ]

ozzytrumpster

So that’s what happened to Mohammed.when he went to paradise. Would have been fun to watch when the propeller ran out of fuel

scott467

I did not mean ‘pig’ in a derogatory sense toward law enforcement. I was literally thinking of the chief pig in Animal Farm.

jamcooker

The heat map and flip map comparison are very interesting. There’s a few areas where there shows a lot of tear gas activity that didn’t flip. Maybe those areas are tightly controlled, and the chij-coms are mad because they didn’t figure they needed to control more than they usually do.

Rodney Short

Russians did it, NO people are woke and I think our LION has alot to do with it.
WWG1WGAWORLDWIDE Thank you Donald J Trump.

Cuppa Covfefe

Hmmm. Do those include the Washed-Poo, the NYT, the Washed-up Journal, or any of the Bloomberg excreta (Business Week et. al.)… Also wonder how the DEMONicRATS and the “wide left” (Barnyard Sanders and Always-On-Camera) are going to take it… probably will talk about meddling… and the Klintoons (and Satan Soros) will be devastated, of course…
Speaking of which, on that graph above of the election percentages (with the stomp down on the end), there’s a party named “Democratic Alliance for The Betterment”… sounds awfully Soros-ish to me…

Alison

Outstanding, Daughn!!! Thank you for the stellar reporting.
I wonder how much the exceptionally high voter turnout – 71% – helped to ensure the ‘untainted’ results. Curious whether a lower turnout would have provided opportunities for meddling. Either way, our pro-Trump voter turnout in 2020 will be essential to overcome election fraud.
The number of US flags in photos is remarkable. I hate it when we see Mexican & South American country flags flown in protests here in the US. Such a clear indication that Hong Kong wants to be like us – Democracy/Republic, not Communism – whereas many of our invading immigrants want to bring Socialism/Communism to the US. The difference in these two situations makes me realize more than ever that demonstrations here in the US are funded by anti-US money.

scott467

“I wonder how much the exceptionally high voter turnout – 71% – helped to ensure the ‘untainted’ results. Curious whether a lower turnout would have provided opportunities for meddling. ”
_____________
No doubt if the election had not been rigged by the CCP, the pro-democracy candidates would have won 100% instead of only 90%.
No Communist has ever held a free and fair election in the history of their criminal ideology.
Neither has any democrat for that matter.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

No Communist has ever held a free and fair election in the history of their criminal ideology.

If I recall correctly, Daniel Ortega held a reasonably fair election in Nicaragua…and lost, badly.
I guess he believed his own propaganda too much.
Note I’m not disagreeing with the second half. 😀

scott467

“If I recall correctly, Daniel Ortega held a reasonably fair election in Nicaragua…”
_____________
That may have been the story, but I wouldn’t believe it, lol!
In fact, I wonder if any Central or South American election has been held in the last 50+ years without C_A involvement (for their own purposes, not on behalf of the American People) at the very least.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

I imagine that it WAS indeed a relatively fair election–compared to other commie elections.
Whether it was fair in any kind of absolute sense is another matter entirely,

kalbokalbs

Stunningly great news for Hong Kongers AND Freedom.

ozzytrumpster

Only if it means anything. They still have chinas boot on their throat. The only thing changed is they’ve said they don’t like it. And China’s going to gaf? Hong Kong May survive because China can’t live without it. It’s the financial capital of Asia but. Money people DONT LIKE instability. They will pull their $ and gtfo if spooked

Deplorable Patriot

Good news for sure.

Aubergine

Thanks for the good news, Daughn!
So happy for the people of Hong Kong, things going in the right direction.
The Great Awakening!

kea

Wonderful news.
I recall being in Hong Kong a few days after China had gotten it back. People were so happy. My how times have changed.
