Okay, putting the tweetverse on hold for a few to highlight the “nothing happening” of the John Durham investigation.
Ahem.
It has been noticed by various prognosticators that a very big name in Democrat politics has surfaced in all of the information leaked this week. Sundance lays it out.
Additionally, the Durham filing itself {SEE HERE} gives us another granular look at how the prosecution is walking the tightrope of carefully balanced prosecution of leftist activists, lawfare people and political organizations outside government.
Within the filing the privilege claims are easily dispatched by prosecutor Andrew J. DeFilippis, Assistant Special Counsel to John Durham. One key paragraph is a little funny in that the prosecution uses the defense position against them. The prosecution states the “purported privilege holders who have intervened do so in a case in which the defendant has denied representing any client when he brought the Russian Bank-1 allegations to the FBI.”
The privilege controversy itself seemingly entraps Michael Sussmann. How can Sussmann claim attorney-client privilege when his defense is to say he wasn’t working on behalf of any client when he brought the information to the FBI? Whoopsie daisy.
All of that said, there’s another interesting aspect to this specific filing if you stand back away from the granular legal details and look at the arc of the prosecution within it. It appears to me that Michael Sussmann is not the REAL target of this prosecution, Marc Elias is.
♦ It looks like John Durham is using the prosecution of Sussmann, and all the details within the case, to box in a very easy prosecution of Michael Sussmann’s boss, the infamous Democrat lawyer, Marc Elias. Read the filing and you see how Perkins Coie and Marc Elias are clearly and purposefully outlined as having the major role in the activity of Sussmann. All prosecutorial roads against Sussmann are leading to Elias.
That risk would certainly explain why Marc Elias left Perkins Coie immediately after the Alfa Bank lawsuit against Fusion GPS revealed the connective tissue, and then John Durham start focusing on Perkins Coie and Michael Sussmann.
Sundance is a little late to the party on this, as there were comments here in January and February pointing out that Marc Elias was the bigger fish RICO-wise when it comes to Russia-gate.
Not only that, but Elias was also heavily involved in the 2020 election rigging.
For nearly three years, with the aid of the FBI, the DOJ and the CIA, they sought to make absolutely certain [Trump] could not be re-elected. The Clintons, Obamas and their activist worker bees in and out of Congress worked tirelessly to destroy Donald Trump. For four years, Marc Elias traveled state to state to get election laws changed to facilitate the cheating they planned. Nancy Pelosi let the cat out of the bag when she said, “I feel very confident that Joe Biden will be elected President on Tuesday. Whatever the end count is on the election that occurs on Tuesday, he will be elected, on January 20th he will be inaugurated President.”
Could it be that the white hats actually know what they are doing and that information is “leaked” to demonstrate just what they have on the other side?
So, far from nothing really happening, it looks like one of the big players behind the scenes is actually in the cross-hairs, and just like test pilots, no one really knew his name.

The bigger picture issue is that DHS will now work around any independence of social media, vis-a-vis Twitter as a free speech platform, by defining the parameters of allowed conversation. A bureaucratic board within DHS will now serve as the group who defines what can and cannot be discussed.

When I moved here in the 1980s, it was known as silicon valley because there were so many silicon fabs here. Environmentalists and activists ran them out — including a famous case where an Islamic Center was built downwind from a fab, which then was sued by the Center because a toxic leak might endanger schoolchildren.

Just a little vignette…..
We’ve been having intermittent refrigerator problems with the main fridge. My opinion is that this has been caused by organic materials spilled over the lower air damper, causing it to be sticky whenever it is warm or moist. This is supported by it frequently entering failure mode when the Fiancee goes to a Farmer’s Market on a weekend and fills the fridge with damp fruits and veggies.
When this damper sticks, the fridge section goes high and the the freezer section goes low. They’re nominally 0/37, but when the damper sticks they can head to -8/46. Shortly thereafter, there are icicles on the fan that make an annoying buzzing/rattling sound. A manually-started defrost can clear the icicles off the fan and put things back into regular territory.
On the other hand, and I’m not completely sure why, a large amount of water can enter the system. It is possible that the cold water dispenser freezes at -8 and opens a crack into the fridge. I can frequently find icicles the size of carrots to pull out of the freezer compartment.
This is never how it starts, but when things are moving into 2nd and 3rd-order effects.
I can hit it with more manual defrosts, but it is slow to “get right”. I suspect there is an ice dam that forms across the defrost drain. A “refrigerator sequenced defrost” is much better at clearing such problems than a manual defrost…..but they’re not available for users to trigger.
Anyway, when things get thoroughly screwed-up, it’s time to do a serious reset — yank the freezer into a cooler filled with dry ice, put the fridge in the garage, and turn-it-off-and-on-again with the fridge. Costs about $40 for dry ice and a day of babysitting.
And, of course, the Fiancee is willing to be part of the solution between 05:30 and 06:15 weekdays (except for Monday (gym) or Tuesday (diet class). She’s willing to contribute to the problem the other 165 hours each week. It’s much too difficult for her to learn to force a defrost like I had to.
Last week, it occurred to me that I could get a refuge freezer for about five times the cost of the dry ice necessary for a refuge cooler…..and that it wouldn’t only be available at the Fiancee’s limited hours. So I bought one today, to free me from the Fiancee’s limited assistance. She was surprised that I managed to get it into the house myself, being that she promised me help on Wednesday and disappeared.
An additional step to make frig work more efficiently could be to pull frig from wall and clean dust from fan area if that might be contributing to the problem. If you can’t benefit from this, maybe someone else can.
^^^This. Also make sure not to fill the fridge so full that the airflow in the rear is blocked. When you put a lot of food in that needs cooled down, the compressor runs longer and thus creates more condensate off the evaporator. I have had the same issue with the freezer getting iced over and it is usually a combination of the above.
There is a cure for these frustration(s). Ya know it. Ya are thorough, methodical AND logical to the nth degree. Ya are almost ready to effect the cure. The last word of post above. Disappear. (At the right time)
YUP. AND TAKE BOTH FRIDGES.

(1) Old fridge issues sound a lot like a “needs more refrigerant” situation. When system works too hard too long to reach a temp, with no time out for deicing of cooling elements, bad things happen! Maybe our legit HVAC people have better insight. I’m just noting apparent analogy to low refrigerant levels with our old AC unit, being the cause of icing.
(2) Second freezer solution would work even better if the freezer location was North Carolina. JUST SAYIN’. 😉
(3) The world’s supply of handy women are on this blog, or used to be, and moved on to where they could be handier. But seriously, “the fiance” clearly has her handyman, just like “the wife” does here.

In all deference to General Flynn, who would know far more about the matter than I ever would – Chris Farrell of JW brought up the shuttering of the FBI on a Fox show a half dozen years ago. In all honesty, Chris may know more about it than Gen. Flynn as many of his sources are retired and current FBI members. It’s hard to see the evil, the nasty players, and the degree of treachery when you are in the middle of the leadership circle in DC. You know it is there, but they also know who you are and how to handle you. In Chris’ case, he’s an outsider with insider access and can see the whole picture through the judiciary involvement in cases.
As Chris states and I have posted on here multiple times, the only way to do this is to hand the responsibilities to the US Marshal Service. Eliminate the FBI as an agency. Rebuild its mission under the Marshals. Some of the honorable ex-FBI can then be vetted and retained, which preserves their pensions. The rest can be prosecuted over time or can go pound sand somewhere else out of government if not able to prosecute. The later can be tracked to prevent their reemergence in positions that could harm the country.
Let me know when you find definitive proof of RICO strategy and THEN when it is not struck down by an Obama judge. THAT is when my hopes get up. Without those two things happening, it will only be outsiders taking a fall.

I read that as the qualifying event for the RICO claims was around the time PDT filed his lawsuit this year. Go 4 years from there. Guess who goes back in as POTUS within that period? I was at my eye doctor Monday I have macular degeneration in one eye. Have been treated for past 20 years. He was flabbergasted when he looked at the pictures they take every 6 weeks when I
see him for an injection. The right eye the bad one looked as good as the left where I have nothing. When I saw the doctor speaking on You Tube about the fasting and healing something clicked. I contribute my eye betterment to fasting, no sugar at all no fast foods limited carbs only my home milled flour. I put real whole cream in my coffee do not eat much bacon but eat some cheese and one egg a day.
I eat steak, chicken , pork and lamb and some bratwurst occasionally.
I eat fish wild caught and herring and sardines. My meats are all from grass fed animals and vegetable all organic also butter. I limit fruit to berries. I also take all the vitamins everyone should.

I never eat after 6pm, or before 8am. So, I am “fasting” every day for 14 hours. In between, I eat like a horse! But I expend a lot of energy doing things to burn it off.
My thyroid is slow I cannot eat all day. I am best eating 2 meals. I used to be very active until my knee accident now I cannot walk my 4 miles a day and work all day in the yard as I used too. I am careful now what I eat. Not missing much and happy as is.

The first is the completely fallacious myth being spread by some that a “classic” nuclear exchange between the U.S. and the Russian Federation might somehow be “survivable” by the U.S. Russia or the planet. This is, of course utter BS.
The second, is that the RF might chose to employ its hypersonic arsenal using only conventional and not nuclear payloads. The destructive potential of only the kinetic energy of a hypersonic missile coupled with a conventional payload is already so immense, that nuclear payloads might be completely superfluous. I wouldn’t want to consider what Manhattan or a nuclear silo in Montana would look like if one of those hit.
U.S. nuclear defenses are essentially geared to defending against ICBM strikes from over the North Pole. The ICBM the Russians tested just a few days ago carries 24 hypersonic payloads. One of those alone is sufficient to incapacitate every major city in a country like England in one strike.
What I am saying, is that you have been lied to and remain deeply ignorant of the danger you are in. I’m telling you this as a Central European. The west Ukrainian city Lviv is located only 700 kilometers to the east of my present location. This is certainly a bit more “immediate” than it might be for you, living somewhere in the Golden State on the Pacific Coast.

The sooner the EU breaks apart, the better. We have just as strong a North/South divide as the US did during the Civil War (though the slavery here is thought and wage slavery).
The southern countries (Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal, and, in a sense, France) had/have economies that need propping up. The northern countries (Germany, BeNeLux, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, the UK) all end up supporting and bailing out the south.
Ireland had the good fortune to move from a debtor country to a payor country (not sure if that is a net gain 🙂 ), while Switzerland just sits there and collected interest on everyone’s transactions while selling insurance and drugs… oh, and chocolate and cheese…
Europe was much better, and much nicer, as individual countries…
Back in the ’90s, when I was too young to really appreciate what was happening, I said it wasn’t going to work if Switzerland wasn’t in.

This is a little shopping news that goes to EVERY household. Just imagine a little child going to their mother, “mommy, why are those two women kissing?” followed shortly by “what are that man and that woman doing?”…..
OK, here in Germany and in Bye,Dung’s brave new(de) world, the child would already have been taught that in kindergarten, or at least by the third grade.
Then, in the Penny (discount) grocery ad, there’s a bit from RTL (tele network) spouting off about “Helping Children” while also toutin “PRIDE” with rainbow flags, mixed couples of all sorts, etc., etc., etc.
Just how do they want to “help” the children? Maybe they mean “helping themselves to the children”????? Grooming, anyone?

After I retired, my wife insisted that I accompany her on her trips to the local grocery store. Unfortunately, like most men; I found shopping boring and preferred to get in and get out. Equally unfortunate, my wife is like most women – she loves to browse.
Yesterday my dear wife received the following letter, from the local store manager:
Dear Mrs. Harris:
Over the past six months, your husband has caused quite a commotion, in our store. We cannot tolerate this behavior and have been forced to, ban both of you from the store. Our complaints against your husband, Mr. Harris, are listed below and are documented by our video surveillance cameras:
1. June 15: He took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in other people’s carts when they weren’t looking.
2. July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute intervals.
3. July 7: He made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the women’s restroom.
4. July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an official voice, ‘Code 3 in Housewares. Get on it right away’. This caused the employee to leave her assigned station and receive a reprimand from her Supervisor that in turn resulted with a union grievance, causing management to lose time and costing the company money. We don’t have a Code 3.
5. August 4: Went to the Service Desk and tried to put a bag of M&Ms on layaway.
6. August 14: Moved a, ‘CAUTION – WET FLOOR’ sign to a carpeted area.
7. August 15: Set up a tent in the camping department and told the children shoppers he’d invite them in if they would bring pillows and blankets from the bedding department to which twenty children obliged.
8. August 23: When a clerk asked if they could help him he began crying and screamed, ‘Why can’t you people just leave me alone?’ EMTs were called.
9. September 4: Looked right into the security camera and used it as a mirror while he picked his nose.
10. September 10: While handling guns in the hunting department, he asked the clerk where the antidepressants were.
11. October 3: Darted around the store suspiciously while, loudly humming the, ‘Mission Impossible’ theme.
12. October 6: In the auto department, he practiced his, ‘Madonna Look’ using different sizes of funnels.
13. October 18: Hid in a clothing rack and when people browsed through, yelled ‘PICK ME! PICK ME!’
14. October 22: When an announcement came over the loud speaker, he assumed a fetal position and screamed; ‘OH NO! IT’S THOSE VOICES AGAIN!’
15. Took a box of condoms to the checkout clerk and asked where is the fitting room? And last, but not least:
16. October 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the door, waited awhile; then yelled very loudly, ‘Hey! There’s no toilet paper in here.’ One of the clerks passed out.

Thank you for your letter of the July 25th. I will certainly put you in my prayers. I can well believe that you were divinely supported at the time of your terrible calamity. People often are. It is afterwards, when the new and bleaker life is beginning to be a routine, that one often feels one has been left rather unaided. I am sure one is not really so. God’s presence is not the same as the feeling of God’s presence and He may be doing most for us when we think He is doing least.
Loneliness, I am pretty sure, is one of the ways by which we can grow spiritually. Until we are lonely we may easily think we have got further than we really have in Christian love; our (natural and innocent, but merely natural, not heavenly) pleasure in being loved—in being, as you say, an object of interest to someone—can be mistaken for progress in love itself, the outgoing active love which is concerned with giving, not receiving. It is this latter which is the beginning of sanctity.
But of course you know all this: alas, so much easier to know in theory than to submit to day by day in practice! Be very regular in your prayers and communions: and don’t value special ‘guidances’ any more than what comes through ordinary Christian teaching, conscience, and prudence.
I am shocked to hear that your friends think of following me. I wanted them to follow Christ. But they’ll get over this confusion soon, I trust.
Please accept my deepest sympathy.
