Dear KMAG: 20240610 Joe Biden Didn’t Win ❀ Open Topic

Joe Biden didn’t win. This is our Real President:

AND our beautiful REALFLOTUS.

This Stormwatch Monday Open Thread remains open – VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA/KAG/KMAG world (with KMAG being a bit of both).

And yes, it’s Monday…again.

But we WILL get through it!

We will always remember Wheatie,

Pray for Trump,

Yet have fun,

and HOLD ON when things get crazy!

We will follow the RULES of civility that Wheatie left for us:

Wheatie’s Rules:

 1. No food fights.
 2. No running with scissors.
 3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

And while we engage in vigorous free speech, we will remember Wheatie’s advice on civility, non-violence, and site unity:

“We’re on the same side here so let’s not engage in friendly fire.”

“Let’s not give the odious Internet Censors a reason to shut down this precious haven that Wolf has created for us.”

If this site gets shut down, please remember various ways to get back in touch with the rest of the gang:

Our beloved country is under Occupation by hostile forces.

Daily outrage and epic phuckery abound.

We can give in to despair…or we can be defiant and fight back in any way that we can.

Joe Biden didn’t win.

And we will keep saying Joe Biden didn’t win until we get His Fraudulency out of our White House.

Wolfie’s Wheatie’s Word of the Week:

zoilism

noun

 • resemblance to Zoilus in style or manner
 • carping criticism
 • detraction
 • unjust criticism
 • (sometimes capitalized: Zoilism)

Zoilus

Zoilus was a Cynic philosopher and literary critic of the fourth century BCE. He was a Thracian by birth and is sometimes referred to as the “Thracian dog.” His criticisms of Homer were so stinging that he was known as Homeromastix, the “scourge of Homer.”

https://millefabulae.blogspot.com/2011/09/image-zoilus.html

MUSIC!

OK, people – we need some COUNTRY – and this chick seems to know something about it!

https://youtu.be/ttwbrUqLPRY

YOWZA!

OK, that was interesting. YouTube apparently snuffed that video – and I completely forgot which video it was. YouTube now blocks ALL information on all deleted videos, so that you can’t find ways around their censorship. SNEAKY and EVIL Menshevik sisters behind that kind of cynical betrayal of truth. FIGURES.

SO – I researched the post tags to find out who the artist was (Lainey Wilson), and then scanned her videos to figure out which one made sense with my caption, and was something I remembered.

What it was, was an “official” but unreleased awards ceremony video (looked like CMA) of Lainey walking around with her mike, singing this particular song to the audience VIPs, standing right next to them. It was a great video, but I can see why it got pulled. All those celebs, close up – yeah. SOMETHING that somebody doesn’t want seen.

THIS is a somewhat similar video, with the same song, but at a different venue, and it’s not exactly the same scenario, but it looks similar. Enjoy!

Good stuff. And speaking of STUFF…..

THE STUFF

Remember that thing called IQ? Let’s see what some other people think about it! In fact, let’s see what YOU think about it!

Well, I have to say, I learned something.

Just sayin’!

And remember…….

Until victory, have faith!

And trust the big plan, too!

And as always….

ENJOY THE SHOW

This seems more than a little ominous, considering the Q warnings about Israel, ‘saving Israel for last’, etc.

I noticed the guy with the glorious rant about the IRS extorting him for $700 mentioned he already pays 60% in taxes. That aligns nicely with my adding everything up and finding in Taxechusetts I was paying 64.5% to the government (gov’t Taxes, licenses, fees…)

That does NOT include the additional Reagan 151 taxes on a loaf of bread, more than 1/2 the cost.

PLEASE Note the amount is $700.

Based on ContractsCounsel’s marketplace data, the average cost of a lawyer in any legal field is $250 – $350 per hour .

When I looked the last time it was ~$400/hr…

Average costs of hiring an IRS lawyer can range from hundreds to thousands of dollars, depending on your specific circumstances and the scope of work involved.

Report: IRS Audits Target Working, Middle-Class Americans over the Rich

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is targeting low-wage working-class Americans, as well as those in the middle class, with audits while earners making a million or more annually are reviewed at a lower rate, a report detailing federal data reveals.

The data obtained by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) at Syracuse University shows the odds of the IRS auditing a millionaire, in the traditional way carried out by revenue agents or tax auditors, was just 1.1 percent…. Meanwhile, the nation’s lowest income earners making less than $25,000 annually had an IRS audit rate of 1.27 percent. Nearly 8,900 audits on working-class income earners were carried out by revenue agents or tax auditors — fewer than the nearly 8,700 audits, conducted the same way, on millionaires in Fiscal Year 2022…

As Breitbart News chronicled, 78 to 90 percent of the taxpayer money raised via these new IRS audits and investigations will come from American households earning less than $200,000 a year. Meanwhile, just four to nine percent is expected to come from households earning more than half a million a year.

Syracuse Univ
IRS Audits Few Millionaires But Targeted Many Low-Income Families in FY 2022

…The lack of attention given returns filed by millionaires last year was not atypical. Severe budget cutbacks over the years meant that the IRS has examined fewer and fewer millionaire returns. Ten years ago, the IRS in fact audited 40,965 returns filed by millionaires. This had fallen to just 11,331 audits of millionaires in FY 2020, of which 7,108 were audits by revenue agents. See Figure 1. Scrutiny hit bottom in 2020 and appears to have increased slightly during the last two years, although the number of returns filed by millionaires also rose.

However, the recent uptick shown in Figure 1 is somewhat misleading since these totals reflect an increasing reliance on the fiction of auditing a millionaire through simply sending a letter through the mail. In FY 2020, for example, 63 percent were regular audits by revenue agents. In FY 2022 this had fallen to just 46 percent….

IRS Audits Poorest Families at Five Times the Rate for Everyone Else
A large increase in federal income tax audits targeting the poorest wage earners allowed the Internal Revenue Service to keep overall audit numbers from further declines for Americans as a whole during FY 2021. That resulted in these low-income wage earners with less than $25,000 in total gross receipts being audited at a rate five times higher than for everyone else…

These kinds of reports leave me somewhat ambivalent. It tends to create two conflicting concerns. On one hand, it strikes me as somewhat deceptive. On the other hand, it seems that its intention is more divisive (class envy) than informative. It irritates me because auditing the rich, elite, or wealthy (choose whichever word stirs the emotions), seems to be an exercise in whack-a-mole. Over the years I have read countless stories of powerful people underpaying or not paying their tax bill, whether it be income, payroll, or countless other varieties of taxes. I think of Al Sharpton and more recently, Hunter Biden as well-known examples. The irritating part is that none ever seem to go to prison, with the notable exception of Al Capone.

Gail Combs

Robert,
Sorry if I was not more plain in what I was trying to show.

I did leave out one part.

…Not only are 👉total correspondence audits👈 up so far this year, but IRS is increasingly targeting them on these poorest families. Last year at this same time, 51.6% of all correspondence audits (103,715 out of 200,856) were targeted at this lowest income group which represents only a small proportion of all taxpayers combined. The concentration of correspondence audits on this single small group of taxpayers during this filing season has increased to 58.1%, with the actual number of correspondence audits increasing to 130,106 out of 223,769….

Taxpayer compliance is jeopardized not just when taxpayers underreport their tax liability, but also when IRS acts to unilaterally grab a taxpayer’s refund without cause. Increasing the letters (“correspondence audits”) IRS sends out without ensuring that it has the capacity to answer taxpayers’ calls on these audit letters, especially for low-income taxpayers who generally cannot afford tax accountants to assist them, is fundamentally unfair.

If you go after a millionaire or billionaire, you are going after someone well armed with accountants and lawyers. That is going to cost you LOTS OF TIME and PEOPLE AND YOU MAY VERY WELL LOSE.

If you go after Joe Waiter and Suzy Teacher who does tutoring on the side AND who has a tax refund due, you can grab $500 to a couple thousand with out a fight AND MINIMAL agent time.

The amount may not be very much, but you can set up a computer program to do most of the work.

I bet if you dig down, the people targeted are small time business people who work a regular job, but ALSO have a small business too so they can make ends meet just like the guy in the video yesterday. People who mow lawns, cut hair, walk dogs, babysit kids, do a bit of handyman stuff…

Since most of these people are paid cash the IRS applies a ‘STANDARD’ amount for tips and such. Since you can not PROVE you earn LESS than the standard you get stuck paying tax on money you never earned.

Robert Baker

Gail, there is no need for an apology. I certainly did not take any offence to the articles. My comments were aimed, as I mentioned, to the kinds of reactions those articles generate in me. It is less about the subject matter presented and more about its ability to confuse the reader. The topic, IRS audits, is a very complex subject matter that can, at best in a short-form article, scratch the surface. Couple that with the generous use of statistics and it becomes easily misconstrued. We get so many of this kind of article that we can often get sidetracked instead of better informed. As I said, it is a style of information that leaves me ambivalent. As you mention in the penultimate paragraph, such articles require further digging which, in most cases, does not happen.

Gail Combs

No problem,

I know I sometimes confuse people and I wanted to make sure I was clear.

I certainly would like to see exactly WHO is being targeted in the lower percentile of earners.

I know if I was an IRS agent I would certainly be targeting small business people doing their own taxes. That has to be a very rich pond to go fishing in.

pgroup2

It ain’t fishing. It’s fishing’s bastard cousin –

Toss a grenade in the river and a minute later you have all the fish you can eat, floating motionless.

Valerie Curren

I wonder if a well constructed FOIA request would get the info?

Gail Combs

One of the articles at the Syracuse Univ site was complaining about the IRS hiding stuff.

All Federal Agencies AND Offices hide truth AND answers are always deceptive.

Yea, i am a bit jaded.

My dad was waxing eloquent on his friend who built up a very substantial business primarily doing tax returns. For a while that friend’s son, who had gotten a CPA, worked for his dad. The CPA got to handle some of the Extremely complex clients, like a doctor/surgeon who had started like 54 businesses, all specifically set up to operate at a loss as a way to minimize how much of his hard-earned money got robbed by the government.

Gail Combs

A lot of the real wealthy do that. Horse farms and breeding/racing/showing is a favorite.

It is one of the reasons horses are not ‘regulated’ and are exempt from liability.

cthulhu

One has to be careful with losses to offset income. If you fail to make money a certain amount of time, your activity can be designated a “Hobby Loss” and deductions disallowed.

Mind you, the activity doesn’t have to make money, net….IIRC, you have to “make money” two out of every five years — and that means you can lose $100,000 in year one, lose $150,000 in year two, make $5 (the bill with Lincoln on it) in year three, lose $250,000 in year four, and make $20 (the bill with Jackson on it) in year five, and you’d be good (other things being equal). Mind you, this is old memory and not current tax advice.

Gail Combs

My memory was once every 7 years but I have not looked at it lately.

Aren’t there income tax ramifications when there is ‘forgiveness of debt?” I thought at least a portion of debt/interest is considered income if it is forgiven.

Thank you, Coothie. I was too lazy to look myself 😛 Of course, just like Joe has defied the Supremes denial of student loan forgiveness, he will defy the IRS rules for the deadbeat students as well 😡😡😡

Oh yeah. So all Trump’s DoJ has to do is tell the deadbeats [who believe their student loans have been forgiven] is they have a choice: agree to reinstate those loans with back interest OR get prosecuted for willful filing of false returns.

This is a long account about the situation in Canada by someone on Patriots Win. This is not sustainable in whatever country it is occurring in, including here. I think *they* want war to shake things up.

Dear PDW: I am from Canada, and Canada is dying.
So I’ve been posting here for a while, always fantasizing about moving to the US. Visited a few times, currently trying to get a visa as a teacher but it’s hard.
Meanwhile, I wanted to tell you why Canada is a dying country. Unless you specifically visited Canada in the last few years, you have no idea how bad it’s been.
It started when Trudeau banned non-vaxxed from taking trains, planes, receiving benefits (including unemployment) and going to pretty much anywhere. As a citizen, I have to pay taxes to the city, but I couldn’t go to restaurants. And now restaurants (which doubled their prices) are acting like nothing ever happened, in fact, everyone in the government (who abused us for years – we had a 8PM-5AM curfew. Not allowed to leave your own home lol) is trying to act like nothing happened.
Which leads me to my next point: debt went from 300B to 1.3T. You are not reading this wrong. And this is only the debt they admit to. We lost another $40B this year, in a year supposed to be a “surplus”. While it might not sound like a lot, it’s $65,000 per working Canadian. After taxes, that’s around 2 years of working. For money that went, well, god knows where.
As a teacher, I pay 43% in taxes and deduction. I earn $52,000 per year (yep), or around $24,000 after taxes. $1140 per pay, or $2280 per month; my current rent (JUST the rent) is… $1500. This leaves me around $800 for food, electricity, internet, cellphone, clothes, transports, entertainment, etc.
For information, I pay around $300 for food (eating cereals, lentils and canned food, for the most part), also pay $300 for student loan, $100 for transport (shitty subway that always breaks down) and around $100 for internet+electricity. This means I have… $0 left at the end of the month. I work full time by the way.
I haven’t gone out in over a year. Vacations for me is a pipe dream. I wanted to read an “auberge” in region, but the cost for a week-end would have far exceeded $1,000. I eat the same meals, ground beef if I can get it on sale, do the same thing, and if I want more than the bare minimum (lol), I have to work another job during the week-end. Keep in mind I have university education (explaining that loan), and not in some useless field.
This year, teaches for a 4% raise. Politicians voted themselves (yes, you read them right) a 30% increase. Plus that 4% increase. I wish I could have a car, but speaking of cars, they just introduced a new $100 tax on the already super expensive car taxes. Gas is $8 a gallon to give you an idea.
Don’t get me started on healthcare. People are literally dying in ER. A paraplegic lost his legs due to bed sores after he was left in a bed for four days in a row. Other people get diagnosed with cancer, then told the next available appointment with a “specialist” is in 11 months. A friend of mine got cancer, got treated oversea (full diagnosis, full chemo treatment) and came back to Canada before they even called him to give him a first appointment with an oncologist. Another waited so long his cancer reached grade 4 and was deemed unoperable.
Speaking of unoperable, get ready to get offered MAID if your illness is too expensive to treat. They get to decided whether or not you’ll get treatment or MAID. If you refuse MAID, you’ll be put on a waitlist until you die of the illness anyway. My aunt had cardiac problem (cough clotshot) and was put on a 2-year waiting list. She died a year in.
I won’t speak of immigration, but it’s completely… No word. Trudeau took in 1,000,000 people in 2024 so far. This adds up to the millions he already took. Most cities have more immigrants than native speakers. Those people get on our social programs (that they never paid a cent for) and they get to our food banks. I won’t write too much about this because it pisses me off.
Quality of life in Canada has plumetted. Our GDP is basically dead, our economy is garbage, and my rent just went up 5%. I get a 4% raise – before taxes – so that gives you an idea. Also, if you do make it, they will stop taxing 50% of your capital gains and now tax 66% over 250k. Have a million dollar home? That’s $50k+ extra in taxes. What for? Nobody knows.
Inflation is killing people alive. You might have heard of the Loblaws boycott. Recently, I saw a price of $12 for some deodorant. You read that right. Watermelons – on sale – are $16, chicken breasts can be $7 each (not even organic/bio shit) and… well, check it out if you are curious, but basically, everything doubled.
Houses, lol. Forget it. Unless you inherit one (and even there, hello property taxes), you are never owning a house, period.
And this brings me back to my question: why the fuck do I even bother to stay here? There is nothing to look for. Prices will keep going up. Quality of services will keep going down (I didn’t even mention the legal system that lets criminals off the hook because “too many delays,” see the Jordan rules). I will be treated more and more like a slave (Out after 8pm? SHOW US YOUR PAPERS, SLAVE, OR $1500 FINE FOR YOU). I still remember being chased by police (because yes, I got out). And I have to pay their salaries.
Ever heard of the fourth amendment? In Canada, a cop forged the signature of a judge to get a warrant. He got caught and nothing happened. Cops can search your bags if they “feel you are hiding something”. Don’t agree to the search? Too bad!
I wanted a car. I wanted to travel. I wanted a house. I wanted to go to cool places, I’ve been wanting to go to a beach for 5 years. I’m a high school teacher. I studied hard, university, and still have to eat fucking lentils with frozen brocoli every night. Oh and don’t get me started on the school system, every kid is on their iPad now, and if you take it away from them, they scream and threaten you. I’ve received threats from students, etc. Oh and the system is managed by old ladies that hate men (and students too). We have a union that eats 1.5% of my pay and does fuck all (except negotiate us a shitty increase that’s below inflation).
I have friends who are doctors. They make $175k a year (LOL) and every cent they make is taxed at… 54%. That’s right. Add in deductions, and most doctors (that don’t incorporate, a loophole) pay 65-70% in deductions and taxes. Plus tons of taxes on everything – hell, you gotta pay a 75$ annual tax to own a fucking cat now, $300 extra for a pool, 15% sale taxes, fuel tax, alcohol tax.
There’s a place in Quebec that wanted to charge you money to go there. I’m not talking about road tolls, I’m talking about having to scan a fucking QR code when you left the city, or else you got a $1,000 fine. Cost was $30 per day. Want to go on vacations there with your family of four? A week-end will cost you an extra $360!
In any event, I thought I would share how bad things are in Canada, and I feel I barely touched the surface. There are talks to ban you from using your dishwasher “except during approved hours.” Need to wash laundry at 4pm? Too bad. A beer from a bar? $11 minimum. For a fucking beer. I went out with teachers last night and a fucking double rum and coke was $28. Plus taxes (15%) plus tips (15% on top of all that), basically, it was the price of the bottle. And don’t get me started on taxes on alcohol…
In any event, the country I grew up in is long gone. I’m a young teacher and there is no future for me here. I’ve seen quality of life being utterly shattered in the last few years and nothing is going to get better. We pay two sales tax – quebec and canada – and the canadian sale tax doesn’t even cover the interest on our debt anymore. Every single penny of canadian sales tax we pay goes to pay interest on that “debt”.
In any event, thank you for listening to me. I am trying to emigrate to the US and if anyone has any tip for me, I am a taker. Another option would be to meet a woman in the US and marry. It sounds a bit weird to want to marry to get out (from Canada), but…
Take care all.

scott467

Who did he vote for? Did he vote for Trudope?

Clearly they are destroying Canadia from the inside out, just as they are doing here. The process is just slower here, because we have more restless natives, and because we have the 2nd Amendment.

And because we’re not subject to a freaking monarchy across the ocean, we don’t just take *&^% from the criminal government.

I think it really is a mindset. I watch a lot of y/t content from people in Australia and EU, because there seems to be better content (and in many cases, published by older people with more experience in life) on crypto reporting and analysis, vs. U.S. crypto youtoob analysis.

So I see a lot of draconian measures in these other countries, reported on by the crypto youtoobers in those countries, and the response is usually dejected acceptance. It’s never anger. There is no line that can’t be crossed by TCTB.

By contrast, Americans, at least of a certain age, WILL NOT ACCEPT a lot of the crap that goes unchallenged in NZ, AUS, CAN, EU, etc.

It would not surprise me at all to find that, to a significant degree, they are conditioned from birth to be ‘subjects’ of the criminal government.

Whereas Americans mostly hate the government and take pride and joy in defying their tyranny.

This is why the globalists have to take America down. They will never break our spirit of freedom and “joy in defying their tyranny.”

scott467

Yes, but the globalists have the same ‘subject’ mindset as their People. They can’t comprehend the defiance that comes naturally to an American 😁

Everyday I see more and more people understanding the attitudes of us hillbillies. Which is the next step past “defiance”.

She feels the need to be there for her parents, which may be somewhat of a cultural thing, though I don’t believe that they are pressuring her in any way to choose which side of the border, nor which law school to attend…

I don’t think she applied there, but I’ll ask 🙂

Speaking of Liberty, one of my old roommates from OK went there for grad school. She met a guy, Mark, from MI & I guess she told him her old roomie was from there & mentioned my first name. He said he also knew a Valerie wouldn’t it be funny if it was the same person…which it was.

Mark’s dad & my dad were old fraternity buddies from Albion College, in SW MI; our families used to camp together over summer holiday weekends. His dad was from near the Tip of the Mitt & mine from Detroit. My roomie was from DE & we both attended college in OK. They met in VA–Small World!

Gail Combs

Given what is happening in Canada, WHY every would they even consider Canada as home?

TradeBait2

^^^ This.

Valerie Curren

Well, his GF lives w/ her parents in a small, very cohesive Christian community of Indian (subcontinent) sub-culture that has passed through the Caribbean &/or Central/South America–her family having lived for some generations in Guyana. Her parents are the heart & soul of the church that IS that community so Brandon has more or less accepted that in order to be with Her he likely needs to be willing to relocate.

They are a Lovely, Godly family with pretty strong roots now in the Toronto area. Ironically before they moved from Guyana to Canada the dad was working in the US. They Tried to move to America, which was their intended destination, but it turned out to be much less problematic to go to Canada instead. Many years later they are very well tied in there now.

Apparently they live in a relatively small apartment w/ a relatively small kitchen where his GF’s mom regularly cooks enough food to feed the 50 some people in their church. The dad works 3 jobs to get the funds needed for this type of sacrificial giving & Body ministry…& they Love doing this…

They are much better people than we are in my family, from the giving/sacrificing angle. Brandon loves her enough to be willing to be a stranger in a strange land…& they’ve been both being very prayerful about it all, so it’s seemingly in God’s hands.

Believe me, my natural self does Not want him to risk living there but he’s going to follow his heart while tempering his choices with research, faith, & resilience.

A while back I was fantasy house hunting & found a place to consider buying so that we could Host her family on this side of the border, if possible, to ease their transition here. That is very much a back burner option that likely will never materialize, but I would be willing to pursue that to keep him/get them in America if that’s what it takes…

The IQ video was very interesting and informative. The guy was brave to document his own testing, but it was obvious from the start that he was intelligent and a critical thinker.

Among other things, I learned that the military won’t take people with an IQ below 80. They had tried it and found that the extra training required was not worth it.

Also, it makes sense that doing training and practice exercises before an IQ test can improve one’s score. It would seem that people should be capable of improving their cognitive abilities by being trained in various ways to think and solve problems.

cthulhu

My parents had my IQ tested by a Shrink in private practice when I was a kid (they didn’t necessarily trust the government). I did well enough, I suppose — I skipped second grade and was in the “MGM” program for life.

Considering the vast number of incredibly dumb things that I’ve done since, I’m not sure that it really buys you much.

According to the video, your IQ remains at that level throughout life. 🤓

Valerie Curren

The IQ video was very interesting and informative.”

It was also hard to deal with the subject matter because of the trail of abuses & usurpations suffered in attempting to get my special needs son’s educational needs met. Outside neuro-psych testing, to get a closer approximation of his Actual abilities, gave his IQ scores about 50 points higher than school testing (they refused to do even the basic accommodations necessary to ensure they were testing his abilities, not his fine motor issues, nor his visual or auditory processing challenges etc.). Anyway this strays into historic battlegrounds in my family & even loosely recalling it is soul-crushing 🙁

pgroup2

Curious why your successes don’t smother the soul-crushing. Seems to me that you’ve gone through your Valley of Tears and come out the other side. 😍

The neuropsych guys knew what they were doing. The school did not.

An appropriately trained professional is required to administer IQ testing. First, the testing has to include the right tests for the subject. Second, the tester has to perform the testing without bias. Third, the test results have to be interpreted correctly.

I would never trust a school counselor or teacher’s assessment of a child’s IQ. They don’t have enough training.

P.S. Your experience reminds me forcefully of my own experiences with my genius-level-IQ son with a learning disability. It took the neuropsych intervention to keep him out of the “special” classes in school.

Valerie Curren

Well even the neuropsych testing was problematic in the beginning. He got tested Very Young, maybe around age 2, & at that point they Thought his IQ was around 20. When getting those results (like so many experiences at the hospital, clinics, &/or school) I felt like I’d been kicked in the face or the gut…

Later, when he was older & more accurate testing was possible that outside testing put his IQ on the edge of low normal, though the neuropsychologist was convinced based on his interactions with Josiah that his IQ was likely higher than testing demonstrated & possibly even higher than average. Anyway in our first full blown contact w/ the local school district (he’d had much better experiences in nearby districts before going to our district) they absolutely Refused to consider the outside testing & had their own “qualified” school psychologist perform the various testing batteries on him. As I said their results were about 50 points lower than the neuropsych testing, though significantly above the former basement IQ of 20.

At that meeting, when their results were presented, there was Zero Effort made to reconcile the differences between the different tests, nor to even attempt to figure out what my son’s actual needs were. At one point one of the staff said “Josiah is already performing Above his Ability Level”! & that was their justification to try to pull virtually all supports from him since he was doing better than they even thought he was capable of…

I feel for what you went through but never had cause to look into gifted supports for any of my kids. Ironically Josiah’s (presumed) Identical twin took many AP classes & is extremely bright, having gotten the best grades, & highest scores of standardized testing of all our kids. Talk about seriously divergent pathways!

One thing I did get the school to consistently do was perform the Woodcock-Johnson tests on him, at a minimum annually. This allowed a pseudo apples-to-apples comparison of sub-categories of skills to help us better understand where his performance was year over year. Ironically this complex paper trail consistently showed that the longer he stayed under government indoctrination center control the poorer he performed. He rarely gained 12 months of skills in a 12 month span of time, though when provided w/ some summer services, these declines were diminished.

I used WrightsLaw extensively back in those battleground day…

https://www.wrightslaw.com/advoc/articles/tests_measurements.html

There is A Lot of material at their site about IQ & other testing if interested.

Aubergine

I feel for you. That is a sad tale. I often say that the years my children were in school I was at war. That’s how I always felt. The school system was the enemy. And back then, homeschooling was just different. It wasn’t within reach like it would be for me today.

Valerie Curren

That’s a pretty good way to look at things. My SIL was homeschooling her 5 kids about 1/2 hour away so if I’d had the nerve I could have attempted it, I suppose. I really didn’t think I could handle Josiah’s extremely complex needs (not that the school did That very well) & didn’t have the discipline nor organizational skills to even attempt that route. My daughter & DIL are both planning to homeschool their kids so I hope to help support them in that process as much as they will allow. It should be an interesting journey!

Aubergine

A properly researched and formulated IQ test can NOT be practiced for to improve a score.

I studied the testing and measurement of IQ, ability, and knowledge for a couple of really solid years in college. Knowledge can be improved; the innate ability to absorb and retain it can not.

A properly researched and formulated IQ test can NOT be practiced for to improve a score.

I’m referring to becoming aware of certain types of problems to solve and becoming accustomed to solving them. For example, if someone has never encountered the “what number comes next in the sequence” problem, they might have a more difficult time solving it. But if they are familiar with those kinds of questions and know that sometimes the numbers increase by addition, or that multiplication is used, etc., then they are more adept at solving them.

Seems common sense Will Prevail. In-spite of overbearing criminal Feds. EVs are a dying cluster F… (Including Tesla.)

Fitting descriptor for Briben administration criminals.

Mummified Meat Puppet Administration (MMPA)

American Thinker

Manufacturing electric vehicle realityBy Mike McDaniel

The state of electric vehicles is caught between two opposing forces: economic reality and manufactured reality, and only the upcoming presidential election has the potential to resolve those opposed realms.

On the side of economic reality are Normal American. They recognize the reality of Bidenflation, of living paycheck to paycheck and maxing out credit cards. They are driving their internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles as long as they can, a current average of 12.2 years, an all-time record. The Ford F-150 continues to be the most popular vehicle in America. They’re long lasting and useful.

Within the last year, Normals have made their opinion of Electric Vehicles (EVs) unmistakably clear: they don’t want them, can’t afford them, and won’t buy them.

Economic reality has reared its ugly head and cost Ford billions in EV losses in 2023 and projects $5 billion in losses for 2024, $132,000 for each EV made. Even for a corporation like Ford, that’s real money, and they’re cutting EV production plans in half. Chevy is “pausing” their EV plans, and with the possible exception of Tesla, other EV makers are in dire financial straits.

EVs are too expensive to insure, which is driving up rates for ICE vehicles. Minor damage can total an EV, and Hertz has all but abandoned its huge investment in EVs because no one wants to rent them. They’re flooding the used market, but no one wants to buy a used EV either. Only about the top 7% of Americans in income buy new EVs, which now average well over $60,000. The average age of EVs is now 3.8 years, a decline from the past. Americans who intend to buy EVs pretty much already have.

Ford’s overall net income has dropped 20%–the inflation Joe Biden claims doesn’t exist—and Tesla’s sales have dropped 48% in the first quarter of 2024. Normals don’t want EVs, which are dragging down the entire industry.

On the manufactured reality side, the Mummified Meat Puppet Administration (MMPA) continues to tell us EVs are the future. Given $7.5 billion we don’t have two years ago to build 500,000 EV charging stations across America by 2030, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has, in a stunning display of government efficiency, built eight at nearly a billion apiece.

The IQ guy is saying the same thing that makes me crazy.

He’s smart. Period. And waaaay too many smart people think that everybody can do what they do. It’s like reverse arrogance or something. They think you can “build your analytical skills,” and think just as well as they do. Well, it’s bullshit.

I come from a family of really smart people. And my DH is a tested genius (his tested IQ is ridiculous). These smart people have to be trained that not everyone thinks like them. Otherwise, they are impatient assholes. But in our society now, it’s considered wrong to tell people they are smarter than most others, and that many people won’t understand concepts as fast as they do, won’t absorb information as quickly, and is some cases just can’t understand.

I’ve been around both kinds, the people who know this, and the ones who don’t. I can’t stand the ones who don’t.

Gail Combs

“… These smart people have to be trained that not everyone thinks like them….”

That can be a major problem for those who are really smart. It can often be compounded by being ostracized by the community at large and thus they are never ‘socialized.’

Aubergine

Yep.

Aubergine

Yes, it’s interesting. I just have so much background that I get frustrated with the “mythology” about IQ.

TheseTruths

And waaaay too many smart people think that everybody can do what they do.

Did he indicate that?

Aubergine

He says that people can improve their analytical skills to achieve a higher IQ score. I’m saying they cannot. IQ is innate. It is not “improvable” to any significant degree.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

LOVE IN ACTION

Unexpected kindness touches the heart
A listening ear can yield a fresh start
When in a quandary of the feeling kind
Tis hard to explain what we left behind

Feelings are not facts justified away
Kept hidden from view for another day
Sooner or later they come into the light
Where the future is happier and bright

Where circumstances have mightily changed
And our flawed thinking has been rearranged
Angels surround us of the human kind
That reveal the truth to the human mind

When we speak from the heart no sound returned
We will find what God planned to be learned
We cannot know the perfect mind of God
We can only concur it is to be awed

His ways are not our ways nor ever will be
And His thoughts not what we can foresee
Where there seems to be no possible way
His love in action brings a brighter day

The sadness and loneliness is lifted
With a new sense of purpose we are gifted
Happiness returns and we’re flying high
To hopeless heartache the end draws nigh

God knows the beginning and the end
He knows recesses of the heart bend
When healing occurs and we are set free
The promise of tomorrow comes to be

Yours Truly: Dr. Francix Boyle is the law professor that wrote the 1989 Biological Weapons and Antiterrorism Act that was passed by both houses of the US Congress. Dr. Boyle is a legal expert on biological weapons. Links to Dr. Boyle’s affidavit are in the above article.

Gail Combs

From my OLD NOTES (February 2020):

Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989 was passed into law in 1990. It provided for the implementation of the Biological Weapons Convention as well as criminal penalties for violation of its provisions. The law was amended in 1996 and has been used to prosecute several individuals.
https://military.wikia.org/wiki/Biological_Weapons_Anti-Terrorism_Act_of_1989

Biological Weapons Convention was the first multilateral disarmament treaty banning the production of an entire category of weapons. It currently commits the 170 states which are party to it to prohibit the development, production, and stockpiling of biological and toxin weapons. However, the absence of any formal verification regime to monitor compliance has limited the effectiveness of the Convention. As of April 2013, an additional 10 states have signed the BWC but have yet to ratify the treaty.

CHINA is a signatory as is the USA.

This is an interview of Dr Boyle by Alex Jones. Luckily there is a transcript.

US Biowarfare Act Author: Studies Confirm Coronavirus Weaponized
https://www.activistpost.com/2020/02/us-biowarfare-act-author-studies-confirm-coronavirus-weaponized.html”></a>

This second article has links to the Scientific Papers that Dr Boyle uses as evidence and to this interview (36 minutes):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_TPjbu4FAE

The first paper he discusses is the French paper I discussed earlier:

I am refering to this:

This information was first mentioned in a paper from India:

Uncanny similarity of unique inserts in the 2019-nCoV spike protein to HIV-1 gp120 and Gag
https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.01.30.927871v1

Abstract

…..We found 4 insertions in the spike glycoprotein (S) which are unique to the 2019-nCoV and are not present in other coronaviruses. Importantly, amino acid residues in all the 4 inserts have identity or similarity to those in the HIV-1 gp120 or HIV-1 Gag. Interestingly, despite the inserts being discontinuous on the primary amino acid sequence, 3D-modelling of the 2019-nCoV suggests that they converge to constitute the receptor binding site. The finding of 4 unique inserts in the 2019-nCoV, all of which have identity similarity to amino acid residues in key structural proteins of HIV-1 is unlikely to be fortuitous in nature. This work provides yet unknown insights on 2019-nCoV and sheds light on the evolution and pathogenicity of this virus with important implications for diagnosis of this virus.

The authors were viciously harassed and it is now labeled as Withdrawn.

….

But truth has a way of making itself known. Another set of researchers, this time in France confirmed the results.

The spike glycoprotein of the new coronavirus 2019-nCoV contains a furin-like cleavage site absent in CoV of the same clade
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0166354220300528

Abstract

In 2019, a new coronavirus (2019-nCoV) infecting Humans has emerged in Wuhan, China. Its genome has been sequenced and the genomic information promptly released. Despite a high similarity with the genome sequence of SARS-CoV and SARS-like CoVs, we identified a peculiar furin-like cleavage site in the Spike protein of the 2019-nCoV, lacking in the other SARS-like CoVs. In this article, we discuss the possible functional consequences of this cleavage site in the viral cycle, pathogenicity and its potential implication in the development of antivirals.

”….we identified a peculiar furin-like cleavage site in the Spike protein of the 2019-nCoV, lacking in the other SARS-like CoVs.….”

That is as close as scientists are going to get to saying this virus does not look natural. They are aware of what happen to the Indians and are not about to step over the politically correct line.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Dr Boyle states they found ‘gain of function’ and ‘gain of function’ studies are ONLY of use for weaponizing viruses. The Journal Nature, in an editorial linked below refutes this.

The Second paper he discusses is a paper out of University of North Carolina.

This is the nitty gritty of the transcript of the first interview by Alex Jones:

DR BOYLE: “I think I have the definitive evidence where this came from and it came from the BSL-3 biowarfare lab at the University of North Carolina.”

>>>>>>>>>>>

He then refers to the paper:

“A SARS-like cluster of circulating bat coronaviruses shows potential for human emergence.”
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26552008

It was Electronically Published on November 8, 2015

Funded by The National Institutes of Health under Fauci AND the State Key Program for Basic Research Grants from the Chinese Ministry of Science. Fauci not only funded the initial research but indicated interest in funding further research.

Abstract

The emergence of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV) and Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS)-CoV underscores the threat of cross-species transmission events leading to outbreaks in humans. Here we examine the disease potential of a SARS-like virus, SHC014-CoV, which is currently circulating in Chinese horseshoe bat populations. Using the SARS-CoV reverse genetics system, we generated and characterized a chimeric virus expressing the spike of bat coronavirus SHC014 in a mouse-adapted SARS-CoV backbone. The results indicate that group 2b viruses encoding the SHC014 spike in a wild-type backbone can efficiently use multiple orthologs of the SARS receptor human angiotensin converting enzyme II (ACE2), replicate efficiently in primary human airway cells and achieve in vitro titers equivalent to epidemic strains of SARS-CoV.

Additionally, in vivo experiments demonstrate replication of the chimeric virus in mouse lung with notable pathogenesis. Evaluation of available SARS-based immune-therapeutic and prophylactic modalities revealed poor efficacy; both monoclonal antibody and vaccine approaches failed to neutralize and protect from infection with CoVs using the novel spike protein. On the basis of these findings, we synthetically re-derived an infectious full-length SHC014 recombinant virus and demonstrate robust viral replication both in vitro and in vivo. Our work suggests a potential risk of SARS-CoV re-emergence from viruses currently circulating in bat populations.

Abstract

The discovery of SARS-like coronavirus in bats suggests that bats could be the natural reservoir of SARS-CoV. However, previous studies indicated the angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) protein, a known SARS-CoV receptor, from a horseshoe bat was unable to act as a functional receptor for SARS-CoV. Here, we extended our previous study to ACE2 molecules from seven additional bat species and tested their interactions with human SARS-CoV spike protein using both HIV-based pseudotype and live SARS-CoV infection assays. The results show that ACE2s of Myotis daubentoni and Rhinolophus sinicus support viral entry mediated by the SARS-CoV S protein, albeit with different efficiency in comparison to that of the human ACE2. Further, the alteration of several key residues either decreased or enhanced bat ACE2 receptor efficiency, as predicted from a structural modeling study of the different bat ACE2 molecules….

….although the genetically related SARS-like coronavirus (SL-CoV) has been identified in horseshoe bats of the genus Rhinolophus [581218], its spike protein was not able to use the human ACE2 (hACE2) protein as a receptor [13]. Close examination of the crystal structure of human SARS-CoV RBD complexed with hACE2 suggests that truncations in the receptor-binding motif (RBM) region of SL-CoV spike protein abolish its hACE2-binding ability [710], and hence the SL-CoV found recently in horseshoe bats is unlikely to be the direct ancestor of human SARS-CoV. Also, it has been shown that the human SARS-CoV spike protein and its closely related civet SARS-CoV spike protein were not able to use a horseshoe bat (R. pearsoni) ACE2 as a receptor [13], highlighting a critical missing link in the bat-to-civet/human transmission chain of SARS-CoV….. [So was SARS also bio-engineered and then released from a Chinese lab?- G.C.]

…we have extended our studies to include ACE2 molecules from different bat species and examined their interaction with the human SARS-CoV spike protein. Our results show that there is great genetic diversity among bat ACE2 molecules, especially at the key residues known to be important for interacting with the viral spike protein, and that ACE2s of Myotis daubentoni and Rhinolophus sinicus from Hubei province can support viral entry….

Chimeric ACE2 construction

…Chimeric ACE2 was constructed by combining the N-terminal region of bat ACE2 with the C-terminal portion of human ACE2 at the unique BamHI site (1,070–1,075 bp). The chimera was subsequently cloned into pCDNA3.1 with KpnI and XhoI and sequenced as above….

Pseudotype virus infection assays

An HIV-1-luciferase pseudotype virus carrying the SARS-CoV BJ01 S protein, HIV/BJ01-S, was prepared as described previously HeLa cells were seeded onto 96-well plates for 18 h and then transfected with 0.2 μg recombinant plasmid containing bat or human ACE2 using 0.5 μL Lipofectamine 2000 (Invitrogen, USA) according to the manufacturer’s protocol…..

The possible origins of 2019-nCoV coronavirus

Abstract

The 2019-nCoV has caused an epidemic of 28,060 laboratory-confirmed infections in human including 564 deaths in China by February 6, 2020. Two descriptions of the virus published on Nature this week indicated that the genome sequences from patients were almost identical to the Bat CoV ZC45 coronavirus. It was critical to study where the pathogen came from and how it passed onto human. An article published on The Lancet reported that 27 of 41 infected patients were found to have contact with the Huanan Seafood Market in Wuhan. We noted two laboratories conducting research on bat coronavirus in Wuhan, one of which was only 280 meters from the seafood market. We briefly examined the histories of the laboratories and proposed that the coronavirus probably originated from a laboratory. Our proposal provided an alternative origin of the coronavirus in addition to natural recombination and intermediate host.

Within the paper the authors say

…The bats carrying CoV ZC45 were originally found in Yunnan or Zhejiang province, both of which were more than 900 kilometers away from the seafood market. Bats were normally found to live in caves and trees. But the seafood market is in a densely-populated district of Wuhan, a metropolitan of ~15 million people. The probability was very low for the bats to fly to the market. According to municipal reports and the testimonies of 31 residents and 28 visitors, the bat was never a food source in the city, and no bat was traded in the market. There was possible natural recombination or intermediate host of the coronavirus, yet little proof has been reported.

Was there any other possible pathway?

We screened the area around the seafood market and identified two laboratories conducting research on bat coronavirus. Within ~280 meters from the market, there was the Wuhan Center for Disease Control & Prevention (WHCDC) (Figure 1, from Baidu and Google maps). WHCDC hosted animals in laboratories for research purpose, one of which was specialized in pathogens collection and identification 4-6. In one of their studies, 155 bats including Rhinolophus affinis were captured in Hubei province, and other 450 bats were captured in Zhejiang province 4. The expert in collection was noted in the Author Contributions (JHT). Moreover, he was broadcasted for collecting viruses on nation-wide newspapers and websites in 2017 and 2019….

Speaking of IQ and cognitive ability –

If a group of people have an IQ of about 115 (one standard deviation above the average), and another group of people have an IQ of about 85 (one standard deviation below the average), then the individuals of the higher IQ group need to realize that the differing cognitive abilities of the two groups may have significant impacts when interacting with each other in a variety of situations.

The complexity of communications between the two groups, for example, may have to be tailored for better comprehension. Not “dumbed down”, but merely tailored.

William F. Buckley Jr. stands out in my mind as an obviously intelligent person who was a great “not how to communicate effectively” example. He was also disgusting to me as an effete intellectual snob, a moniker originated by another unpleasant individual along with nattering nabobs of negativism.

Too often, superior cognitive ability results in a prideful individual, one whom obviosly doesn’t understand from Whom that ability came.

President Trump is pretty good at ‘Keep it simple stupid’

His IQ is higher than mind but I noticed his writing style is aimed at the people with high school education and no higher.

Having to deal with tradesman and contractors has done wonders for him learning to communicate with ‘everyman’

Deplorable Patriot

Don’t underestimate tradesmen when it comes to intelligence. I’ve met electricians and HVAC maintenance guys who are plenty smart.

Truthfully, a lot of writing is aimed for a 6th or 7th grade level in journalism. The really fancy academic, legal and medical stuff…only those people really understand it.

Gail Combs

I was thinking of Trump’s books Like Art of the Deal.

Believe me I have a great deal of respect for tradesmen. A good friend I highly respected never had any high school, Hubby’s granddad never made it to 4th grade and then went on to read every book in the town library.

I have also met a ton of PhDs who were arrogant asses. College esp now =/= intelligence.

What I was trying to get across, is Trump CONNECTS with people. He does not talk down and the MSM Lambasts him for it saying ‘He is not Presidential’

Robert Baker

Gail, how would you define intelligence? For purposes of this question, I refer to human intelligence as meant by a discussion among individuals who were evaluating IQ. What do you think would be a reasonable consensus on what it means?

I will define it as the ability to perceive the concept someone is attempting to communicate. From a Platonic perspective, the ability to perceive the form represented by the object. An example would be to listen to a lecture by the physicist Feynman. In such a case, if Steve from CO and I were listening to the same lecture, Steve would perceive more of what Feynman was trying to communicate and I would say Steve is more intelligent. Is that what people mean when they discuss IQ?

Everyone’s comments above got me curious about what we mean when we discuss intelligence.

Gail Combs

I am more of the

 1. See a problem
 2. DEFINE the problem
 3. determine possible causes
 4. come up with possible solutions

Also being able to grasp complex ideas and to think/plan into the future.

Having animals, I find it fascinating to watch them solve various problems.

Robert Baker

Well that didn’t go very far.

Gail Combs

I am differentiating between memorization and creative problem solving.

barkerjim

Being able to understand what another person is actually saying and be able to communicate back to them. Able to help them understand how to help themselves and able to help them help others is a start. The ability to know what oneself doesn’t understand and be able to research it for deeper understanding and be able to share it.
Just a thought.

You describe what a tech writer hopes to do.

I’m not attempting to answer your question but just want to add in that the theory of Multiple Intelligences seems to get a Slightly better grasp of just what Intelligence appears or purports to be. General intelligence, G in Wolf’s video, is often based on a subset of intellectual skills, especially those that lend themselves well to academic achievement. I don’t recall how many subsets make up the Multiple Intelligences theory but would guess that quite a few of them might coincide with combos that make highly skilled tradespeople so successful in their chosen arena.

My hubby always sells himself short because he struggled in school at times & didn’t test well having test-taking anxieties & (then undiagnosed) ADHD. I breezed through academics at the lower level but ended up struggling in some of my more challenging science classes in college, having never learned how to be a good student, nor really developing good study habits. I always tested well so my grades were usually quite good in spite of poor study skills. However if we talk about general retention of material one has been exposed to Hubby retains Way More of his academic info than I do. He has practical skills in Many arenas. His Multiple Intelligences are many & diffuse while mine Might be more clustered in the academic arenas which helped me sail through school but then have certain challenges in the real world. He likes working with his hands more than his head while I am the opposite ironically 🙂

bakocarl

Outstanding point . . . and it’s a pity that many high schools have eliminated studies in the trades and substituted memorizing the who, what and when of largely meaningless topics. Our local high school offers an almost amazing number of trades related classes and practical experience.
