Well, as I was cleaning out the garage, I found a bunch of bird magazines that a kindly neighbor had donated to me. I had not read them, but stacked them near the recycle box, hoping to read them and dispose of them in stages.

Just randomly opening one, I was stunned to find a powerful study of EXACTLY the pesticides I was talking about earlier, having disastrous effects on wild birds.
