If you don’t watch this whole video, at least watch the first part about Bernie Sanders and his very, very bad idea.
Personally, I think it is critical to watch this video in its entirety, if you want to understand exactly why “being Cambodia on data centers” is a very, very, bad idea for the US. (Being China on data centers is a different sort of bad, too – don’t get me wrong!)
Now – DO NOT suspend your critical thinking on this guy and what he is saying. He is personally invested on the profit side of the AI wave. I myself think he is too rosy and hand-waving on the simplicity of the right solutions, but that he is nevertheless overall correct about those solutions. People need to be smart about how they allow data centers.
I just discovered a brand new data center a few miles from where we live. It was put up in the perfect place – a decaying industrial “wasteland” near the railroad tracks – and it’s beautiful, clean, and modernizing everything around it. Not sure how the Bernie Sanders boneheads on the city council in that place allowed it to happen, but they apparently fucked up and allowed a fantastic modern business to appear in the middle of their normal rusted, trash-strewn, blue-haired, nose ring, soy latte, anti-business decay and poverty. IMO it’s the best thing to happen to that area in a long time. They have driven OUT so many businesses. The blind AWFULs found a nut!
The entire south side of Chicago – which is a post-industrial wasteland – needs to become a data center capital, IMHO. THAT is how you fix Chicago.

I think Trump gets it. Data centers can be part of the golden age – but we need to make sure that we avoid the rush to put up fool’s gold solutions – and that means citizens paying attention to what their elected (and unelected) leaders are doing.
Pay attention to what China is doing. Notice that, suddenly, they are even using their own crappy solar panels to generate energy. They realize that “seizing the day” on AI and data centers is happening RIGHT NOW. Somebody over in China got a bright idea on “abundance thinking” to use their own panels, stacked up waiting for export, and told the commies who wanted to reserve those panels for draining money from America, to “go to vulture hell”.

Here’s something I have thought of often in the last few years. Weirdly related to 9/11.
I have heard and read comparisons between 9/11 and the October 7 attack on Israel by Hamas.
The comparison is, if by percentage of population we were hit the same as Israel, how many Americans would have died on 9/11? The answer is about 40,000.
On the day 9/11 happened, as I watched the Towers fall, I remember thinking “there’s going to be 40,000 people dead in that.” I went around all day with that number in my head. While I kept my children home from school, while I donated blood for the first time ever (and last time; my body did not respond well). While I cried with friends. While I watched the news and waited. I was so glad when the actual numbers, while devastating, were so much lower.
I remember what it felt like to think of 40,000 of my fellow citizens buried under a terrorist attack. I remember the fear and rage. I remember thinking some very dark thoughts about what we should do to whomever perpetrated such an atrocity on my country.
And that is why I will always side with the Israelis against Hamas. Always.
Cold anger. All i thought while watching those who jumped to choose their own inevitable deaths was “can I sign up; how do I help?” I was in Austin. Knew Noone Mil I went back to silly valley but it was subdued. Dec 03, a little DoD contractor found me. I moved my stuff home to mom’s front porch in MO and the contractor moved me to Alexandria VA. I helped for over 20 years but would not take an undefined jab so lost my job helping the Dia. Loved that job and was essential. Drove over two mountains to work and had a letter from DoD that would let me go there if all the roads got locked down during the covid insanity. All the GOVies were sent home. A handful of us kept working on base. I have a special interest in seeing justice for the plandemic. Muslims are not the only scumsuckers. I thank God He will distribute justice when He sees fit. I see the aftermath of what covid did to the communities here and my own extended family. Counting the needlessly dead and cancerized. Harumph. Climbing down from soapbox and straightening my shirt sleeves.

In short, the federal government is being retooled to run like a large, well run international corporation. Imagine that. 🤨 Well, actually, we should not have to imagine it, that should have been the MO for a century or more.

PDT is gutting the fed workforce. See above. They will be eliminating the non-Constitutionally required agencies and departments back to the states to handle with some consolidated/eliminated in their entirety.They will be selling vacant, unused, excess federal properties. They will be selling some more non-defense/parks federal land holdings and mineral rights on same. SS is in the process of being deemphasized (Trump Accounts) as are all “entitlement programs” such as Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, etc.; which are being cleaned up. The illegals are being jettisoned and taken off the rolls of same as well as many other federal and state programs. Buh-bye leeches and gang bangers. As entitlement programs go down as a % of budget, more money is allocated toward military and tech, which provide higher paying compensation and contribute to the betterment and safety of the country. Within a few years the $20+ T in new investment coming into the country begins adding increasing tax revenues to the Treasury as the industries involved actually begin operating. That takes the pressure off personal federal income tax revenue needs – leading to them being killed for good at some point.
And a great deal more. Such as a new, accurate census of citizens that changes the election map dramatically. Do you understand Fetterman better now? He is smartly positioning for future events.

Great business leaders always focus on income potential and cost of delivery of same. Notice that PDT always has a plan to recoup more than the costs of every move he makes. The more points of income that can be delivered effectively the better. All the federal govt. has done for a very long time is concern itself with budgetary spending until the politicos decided budgets are for losers. So PDT played the game with them, only smarter. Use the free spending to develop increased income producers while sliding some cost cutting into the equation.
Initially they used the existing DOGE agency umbrella while using the best and brightest tech volunteers to kick in the system delivery side. They got a twofer with the exposure of the waste, fraud and abuse. All of that cued up the DOJ to go after the black hats and increase the investigations, which exposed the Dems, the illegals, foreign influences, etc. It snowballed from there and put the black hats on the defensive. I think you’re correct that this centers around her being self-conscious about her weight after having kids. I doubt that he said anything about it, but I am kinda guessing he liked her hair longer and she was getting tired of it – or maybe there are issues about having more kids (which makes it even harder to maintain a good weight), and if he thinks longer hair makes her hotter…. there could be a connection.
Personally, I think he was slightly derelict as a husband in not saying something nice about her haircut. I personally would never be negative or dismissive about my wife’s haircut. There is almost ALWAYS something positive about any new item of clothing or bit of grooming that a wife does, and even if it’s really horrible, one can always try to approach it humorously – particularly with emphasis on what is BETTER.
I get it that he’s an engineer, so he likely can’t really talk fashion earnestly with his wife, but in that case, she can be less self-critical and less self-judgmental about whatever he thinks or says, or more importantly DOESN’T think or say. It’s not on her, so don’t worry about it.
Beyond that, I think she’s semi-subconsciously edging into the “Lindsay Clancy” chatroom in search of that “clout” – she’s saying “I have even more kids – my husband is even more unappreciative than hers was – here are some micro-hints that maybe I’m a danger to my kids – look at me!”

Yours Truly grew up just outside Pittsburgh, during the decades when Steel was King, and Braddock had thriving steel mills and finishing mills. The town had its own good, small hospital and good schools.
After the mills left the entire Pittsburgh area in the early 1980s, everything went downhill. This included Braddock and every other small town that lived on the steel mills—Wall, PA; East Pittsburgh, PA; Turtle Creek, PA; Monessen, PA—and dozens of others.
John Fetterman did nothing during his time as Mayor of Braddock to try and help the town stay alive. People moved away. Crime increased.
The schools became dreadful.
The hospital closed.
Churches closed.
I sold my rental houses because the crime in Braddock made it dangerous to keep these houses.

Was a trap being set? Perhaps because the timeline is revealing. Note that in EO 13848 from 2018, Trump’s language is “Although there has been no evidence of a foreign power altering the outcomes or vote tabulation in any United States election.”
That language remained in August 2025 when Trump continued the National Emergency to extend the Executive Order.
Then, on the only timeline that matters right now – that of the midterms – the evidence for the foreign interference is laid out in July 2026 following Trumps efforts to secure mail-ballots in March 2026.

Hats off to Dutch GT racer Leuc Hartog for reasons detailed in this special episode of The China Show, which aired yesterday –
On the 5th, there was a GT race in Shanghai. China’s been spending a lot of money trying to attract international sporting events to China, and this includes professional racing. The race in Shanghai was a part of this. During the race, driver David Chen caused an accident that saw two other cars caught up in it. One of the cars struck was driven by British driver Ollie Millroy, which burst into flames before spinning off the track.
As driver Leuc Hartog approached the site of the accident, he noticed that track officials were not waving any flags. He also noticed that no emergency personnel seemed to be moving toward Millroy’s car, which was still burning. He pulled onto the side of the track, jumped out of his car, and ran up to Millroy’s car. He spotted Millroy inside, and realized that Millroy was unconscious. He tore open the passenger side door, but was unable to reach Millroy. Unfortunately, the fire kept him from opening the driver side door. He noted that the emergency services people still hadn’t started moving toward the burning vehicle, and yelled at them to hurry over with a fire extinguisher. At this point a man finally came over with an extinguisher, handed it to Hartog, and then ran back the way he’d come. Hartog used the extinguisher to reduce the fire to the point where he could get to the driver side door, tore it open, and was able to drag Millroy’s unconscious body out of the burning wreck.
As Hartog was dragging Millroy clear, a second member of emergency services came over with another extinguisher, but he was unable to figure out how to get it to work. Eventually another man came with a third extinguisher, which he used on the fire.
Meanwhile, Hartog dragged Millroy to the side of the track. They waited there for at least 15 minutes until the ambulance finally arrived. The ambulance driver had locked himself in the front of the ambulance to take a nap, and no one had been able to wake him up.
Millroy had numerous broken ribs, and was taken to a hospital. He credits Hartog with saving his life.
The Chinese news reports on the matter mention safety reviews after the incident, but otherwise report nothing that suggests that there was anything wrong with the response to the crash.
The respective teams of both Millroy and Hartog have announced that they will no longer compete in any GT championship races that are held in China.
The video shows an advertisement posted a few days before the race that suggests that the emergency services personnel were random people recruited through the ad, and paid a minimal amount of money.

During my brief visit to Hong Kong, I was impressed by the lack of First World safety standards.
As an example, they were doing a convention center over the water near my Hotel, using bamboo scaffolding. It was obviously just thrown together, had no rails, and no safety ropes.
On the “freeway” sections into town, they’d frequently have people with brooms sweeping the roadway. No safety trucks, no cones, no signs, no helmets….just yellow safety vests.

1) A national jury pool that is I.Q. tested, vetted, and proven to be sane
2) A law that states that all juries have to be chosen from this pool

There is no “pass/fail” in an IQ test. It’s just a number indicating innate intelligence. I would prefer a jury with an IQ above body temp, myself. But that’s only one piece of the puzzle. SANE is more important.
Of course the jurors wearing pink should have been called in, questioned, and maybe even given a lie-detector test.

I’ve known a handful of very high IQ people, including one I know extremely intimately.

As far as “EQ” goes, it is a relatively modern concept developed in the 1980s. It is “touchy-feely” psychology to make people feel good about themselves, in my opinion.

MENSA usually requires “three nines” (.999, or 99.9th percentile) to join.
I look at IQ as intelligence, and EQ as *wisdom*, which comes from experience.
It’s just a simplified comparison, a “rule of thumb,” as it were.
Wisdom just isn’t measurable. The psychologists who made up EQ claim it is a measurable trait. And there are “tests” for it. But what they are mostly measuring is empathy, it seems to me. And maybe, more than that, they are measuring an ability to “read people,” which actually can be used for as much evil as good.

This is a failure of the Anglican Church.
If the church had consecrated its building to the worship of God and the partaking of sacraments, which are holy acts, there would be no question of allowing anything secular to take place there.
“Diverse audiences” do not belong in a consecrated space. There are other places where you can talk with people, “witness” to them, and interact with them. A holy place is to be kept holy. But apparently the church doesn’t consider the place where it serves the sacraments (which in most liturgical churches are believed to be the Body and Blood of Christ) to be holy.
The cathedral is not there for the purpose of having people “experience” it. It is not an entertainment venue. I imagine people could quietly visit it during the week, or even on a Sunday, and take in its beauty and historical significance.
I hope the parishioners will object and/or leave. But IMO this indicates that the church abandoned the true meaning of Christianity long ago.

When cops try to talk obviously guilty suspects into confessing motive early, they’re actually doing them a bit of a favor, because the murder charge will likely be correct for the crime, with lots of opportunity for mitigation by the prosecutor and judge. Admissions of emotion, stupidity, error – these all go a long way toward sentences where the guilty don’t die in prison, but actually get out at some point.
It is NOT unreasonable in this case to consider both first and second degree murder, but I have a hard time going with a charge of less responsibility than that.

And this is MUCH broader than H-1B.
The proposed rule covers:

E-2
E-3
H-1B
H-1B1
L-1
O-1
TN
And their dependents.
Under the current rule, workers in these classifications can receive up to 60 days after their employment ends to find another employer, change status, adjust status, or pursue certain other immigration options.
DHS is proposing to ELIMINATE that grace period entirely.
Not reduce it to 30 days.
Not 15 days.
ZERO.
DHS says the worker would generally be required to “depart from the United States immediately” when the employment or activity underlying their status ends, unless otherwise authorized to lawfully remain.
And here’s where this gets really interesting.
DHS estimates 3,795 workers per year currently have a new employer petition submitted during that 60-day window.
3,765 are H-1Bs.
99.2%.
DHS then says approximately 2,886 employers could lose the opportunity to file petitions for workers in this situation.
And what does DHS say those employers could do instead?
“offer the same jobs to equally qualified U.S. workers”
DHS is explicitly putting American workers into the equation.
This is only a proposed rule, not final.
But if finalized, this would fundamentally change what happens when workers across multiple employment visa categories lose their jobs in America.

diGenova’s technical job description was “Counselor to the Attorney General.”
I would frame the matter in this context, ABC previously reported that Joseph diGenova abruptly quit the investigative taskforce following pressure from Main Justice to achieve actionable results and not endless process. In part because diGenova was aligned with the Special Government Employee John Solomon approach to investigative activity; which is to say, living a life inside the process as if the investigation itself was the ends, not the means.
From experience dealing with these folks, a Trumpian level of frustration is warranted. Remember, the generally accepted DC rule is that no investigative outcome that touches on political considerations will be released within 90-days of an election. diGenova was on a clock, the clock ran out, diGenova quit. It’s as simple as that. All very unfortunate.
[VIA ABC] – A Trump loyalist who had been tapped to oversee a sprawling and controversial DOJ conspiracy investigation targeting political foes of President Donald Trump abruptly resigned Thursday, sources familiar with the matter told ABC News.
Joe diGenova submitted his resignation to Attorney General Todd Blanche amid what sources described as growing frustrations from Trump and senior DOJ officials regarding his work on the so-called “grand conspiracy” investigation based out of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of Florida.
Sources said diGenova had pitched himself to the president as someone who could potentially ramp up the conspiracy investigation, which thus far has resulted in no criminal prosecutions despite dozens of subpoenas issued over the past year to various officials involved in past investigations of Trump.
DiGenova did not immediately respond to a request for comment from ABC News. A Justice Department spokesperson declined to comment.
The investigation, as detailed by Justice Department officials and other allies of the White House, purports to be examining intelligence officials and others who have investigated the president and his inner circle dating back from his 2016 campaign to the criminal probes he faced after leaving office in 2021.
