There is a certain tenured PhD professor in genetics at Harvard University. His name is David A. Sinclair. He is a native of Australia. Dr. Sinclair, and his lab at Harvard, specialize in the study of what ages human beings. He also studies methods and ways to slow down, or even to stop, this aging process. The following screenshot, below, is from the Latypova article on ER-100: a screenshot from the 2020 published paper by Dr. David Sinclair, et al. (which will be further discussed in Part Two.) It is also, in Yours Truly’s opinion, the reason why the Life Biosciences press release, cited above, mentions only three of the Yamanaka Factors — it is possible that the company does not want the public to know that SV40, a cancer-causing element, is contained in the drug: especially in light of the fact that more people are starting to realize that SV40 is in the modRNA COVID-19 bioweapon “vaccines” that they have in their bodies:

IMO this kind of tech is limited in what it can do. It can accomplish local repairs of certain cell types, for finite lengths of time. It’s a way to “patch” the system. There is zero violation of “My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal”. Indeed, I’m thinking 125 is the likely max for the tech.
I see various life extension techs in play. The first ones, that we are playing with today, will indeed have a maximum length of about 125 — being that the world record for natural lifespan is not too far from that.
There will come a time, however, when outright body theft will become an issue….and the question will be whether the corpus has been ensouled. We all know how the Chinese will answer such questions, as they’re doing organ transplants from convicted prisoners now. I would anticipate ~100 years for the original body + ~50 from each hijacked body with those technologies.

It’s not necessarily such a psycho move. Recall that medicine used to be known as “leechcraft” and “cupping” was a technique — the idea being that getting rid of “old blood” would relieve the ill health from toxins not shed by one’s liver and kidneys.

I haven’t seen anyone say that things shouldn’t be questioned. My point has been that IMO the public in general will not be satisfied with anything that is said. Reports about McConnell’s condition most likely will not be believed, no matter what, and people are naturally dissatisfied with the amount of information we are being provided.
I’m not saying that any one particular thing should have been deemed satisfactory to this point, but that I can think of reasons why things have been done the way they have or why a video has not been made—without necessarily agreeing with it. I’m advocating for not jumping to conclusions and for not having preconceived ideas.
I won’t post such thoughts because people reflexively think I’m defending how things are playing out. The fact that I can think of reasons doesn’t mean that I’m excusing their not providing more information.
IMO a well-rounded discussion would present alternative possibilities, and people could learn from each other; but when it’s not possible to present those without being labeled or judged as having a certain viewpoint, then the process is halted.
From my life experience, I can think of reasons why no video has been produced, for example. I could present a scenario of how things might play out. But I won’t because a number of people don’t seem able to get past their anger, to recognize that there is a great deal that they don’t know, and to just use their heads.

At least two things are likely.
1) most Western males after Gen X have been emasculated and feminized to the point of being unattractive to heterosexual women
2) middle eastern males are virtuous members of a protected-class, and protected-class members are inherently good, just as non-protected class members (white men) are inherently bad
So with a swarthy middle eastern male, they get a regular (non-feminized, i.e. masculine) man, the kind of man they are indoctrinated to despise, but to whom they are attracted anyway, because they can’t fight their own biology.

If Yours Truly had to guess, the situation was most likely a part of the pattern of using aluminum salts adjuvants in vaccines in the United States since the early 1920s.
From my reading, it appears the belief was that using aluminum salts adjuvants in vaccines would induce a “jump-start” to the mechanisms of the vaccine that contained it.
It was not until the early 1960s that researchers began to question the safety of aluminum salts adjuvants in vaccines.
There are still organizations (like the American Academy of Pediatrics — AAP) which defend the use of aluminum salts adjuvants in vaccines.

As for that redefinition of polio – WOW – that is a massive scientific problem. Those numbers shouldn’t even be on the same graph. The only way to do that legitimately would be to try to get numbers on old data that would allow a transformation of the old data to smaller numbers matching the new standards.

That sounds, in general, a lot like what was being done with the covid “vaxs” in that there were numerous formulations with numerous items in numerous configurations so one might never know just what one allowed into their body & also few, if any, actual human trials & almost no long term studies of the effects. I am fairly sure they kept track of what lots went where and what happened. Back in the 1950s & 60s, most people worked for the same company for life so you could look at the cancer rates, autism rates, heart condition rates for various areas.
Even for the covid “vaxs” somebody eventually figured out the “hot lots” info but I don’t think that info was straightforward in any way, it was an after the fact scenario. People had no aspect of “informed consent” with what happened with the covid “vaxs”. It sounds a bit similar to me with what CV has shared so far with the SV40, etc., aspects of this alleged aging “cure” 🙁

I want to thank many of you for the encouragements to get an Estate Attorney to assist in dealing with the Trust/Estate issues that have arisen following my dad’s death. Neither my husband nor I were desirous of going this route, for a number of reasons. Ultimately there were some email communications generated/facilitated by my brother the Executor/Trustee that involved questions from his/the Estate/Trust’s attorney (not sure which) & within those discussions I inquired if that attorney was acting as a neutral party for projected real estate transactions. He basically said he was only representing the Trust & that I should get my own attorney. This advice pushed me into that action.
Well I had to pay a particular amount to the attorney, after our free “15 minute” phone call preliminary discussion & these funds would cover an hour of document prep, a 2 hour face-to-face meeting (currently scheduled for July 15) & a summary report of suggested next steps. There would be the opportunity to hire her for addition work, as needed.
They requested a number of specific documents & communications related to the situation & based on what I’ve already given them it appears that our case is more complicated than what might be “typical” so that it is likely I’ll need to pay for additional time so that we can get the needed info processed & “know” the best way to procede. The attorney is already planning to provide one additional hour for the fee already paid but further time will need to be approved by me & paid for at our meeting.
Anyway, if there hadn’t been such forceful encouragement here at the Q-Tree to hire an attorney it is possible that my brothers/the Estate/Trust attorney’s advice might not have been sufficient to go this route…
It’s taking A Lot of time & effort on my part & the process is continuing to cause upheaval in my family to a degree…
If you think of us I would appreciate continued prayers for God’s guidance, wisdom, peace, provision, will, & favor in all these undertakings. On top of that we are all in various stages of layered grieving so battle emotional fatigue on top of mental & physical.
Josiah is still in our home with uncertain (if any) return to his wife’s parents’ home (he usually roughly alternates weeks between households, but more with us than them). We think the issue is that he is trying to be his own SSI Payee & his wife has stopped communicating with him for several days now. On Tuesday we should acquire the necessary paperwork, after a doctor’s visit, to turn in to SSA & hopefully set his case straight, but things remain to be seen as to what develops. There is an emotional, mental, & even to some degree spiritual aspect to what amounts to abuse directed at him from his wife & MIL in particualr. J is dealing w/ a resurgence of the PTSD that strongly impacted him when he first moved back home only four months into his marriage, in December 2022. Thankfully he is not as obviously torn up, not crying all the time, but he still needs lots of conversational time, prayer, & encouragement as he attempts to navigate troubled waters.
My son Brandon is having his Bachelor Party this weekend & it it now happening in the UP at his friend & landlord’s family place not far from the Mackinac Bridge. This change of venue (it had been planned for our family Cottage) was due to how my brother is choosing to manage Estate/Trust property. The whole process was/is exceedingly painful to Brandon, especially since both his brothers’ Bachelor Parties were at the Cottage & now that both of my parents are dead it was even more important to have that family connection for B…but it was not to be. So what would have been, maybe, 3 1/2 hours of drive time is being turned into 5+ hours, each way. Thankfully Michael can catch a ride with our oldest, Nathaniel, as that much driving on top of lengthy work day drives immediately before & following this celebratory weekend will stretch my hubby mightily.
My daughter Clarissa‘s husband is looking for work for the coming school year so that is an added stressor for them as their second child is due in the Fall too. Please pray for that situation, for God’s favor, timing, & locale for our SIL.
Nathaniel & his wife are also expecting another child this Fall so there are many things in flux in our extended family. It looks like they are having another girl, making their daughters very happy but N’s wife was pretty angry about it. She has a rough time being pregnant, though is doing well of late PTL, so they are likely not done at three kids.
Our family vacation will start next weekend & we are all going to the Cottage as had been previously scheduled (we don’t know if the Executor bro will be charging us for this or not). We’re uncertain if this will end up being our last trip there, in the event that I am unable to acquire the Cottage from the Estate/Trust. Being in a state of uncertainty about these property resolutions has added a lot more stress on all of us. Last time (most of us) were there, for Memorial Day, there was so much upheaval related to the Estate & how we were being dealt with (even though Dad was still “alive” then) it was not like any type of relaxing vacation. Three nights in a row I barely slept & was a shell of myself. Father’s Day was subsumed into our frenetic attempt to go through Dad’s house before the Tuesday (literally a week from Dad’s funeral & less that 2 weeks from his death) midnight deadline that was imposed on us. Then our 4th was thwarted by the power outage that disrupted virtually that entire weekend.
I really hope that our trip will be pleasant & refreshing for all of the family, for we really need that hiatus. Today Dad’s been dead exactly a month. In a month from now we will be having to wrestle the complexities of a destination wedding for our son Brandon (& we have to bring our dog to the Air B & B amongst other challenges)…sorry if I’m whining here, it’s just been a lot & there isn’t a light at the end of the tunnel yet, but thankfully we all have The Light to help comfort & guide us through the twists & turns of life.

Well that is definitely an interesting take. J’s wife is not necessarily his “dream girl” but she was a sweet & mostly Godly young lady & they were “in love” enough that they both wanted to marry & both our families & the pastor that married them & went through pre-marital counseling with them, at our then church, were on board with the marriage overall. She has complex special needs, medically, mentally, & emotionally. Her dad is very autistically impaired though is able to drive (unlike J & his wife) & has a job (ish, may be being paid under the table & a pittance) & has said that he looks at Josiah as his own best friend. Her mom is the more “normal” person in that household though she came to Christ later in her life & still has some fleshly/human tendencies that need to be more “under the Blood”, imo. There is a manipulative side to what is going on & things that have happened in the past. Our son is very sweet & vulnerable. He is very Godly as well & though he is broken hearted about how he is being treated/ignored he is not bitter & is prayerful about moving forward.

Though this is true it is one of those phrases that people used to say to me when things were really rough & it always made me somewhat sad & angry. I kind of prefer to focus on “God will never leave nor forsake us” & “in this world you will have trouble, but be of good cheer, for I (Jesus speaking there) have overcome the world!” & going along with your encouragement “with man this is impossible but with God all things are possible.” He, the Lord, will surely make a way through All of this at some point of His choosing. I’m glad to hear you have an attorney. I am involved with an attorney currently for a different type of issue (DH’s wrongful termination), so I know how it feels. Just do what they tell you, take it one step at a time, and don’t think about it too much. Having an attorney means you don’t have to worry about the details you don’t understand. They will explain what you need to know and do.

They will explain what you need to know and do.” I’ve only ever previously dealt with attorneys in Special Education Due Process Hearing Requests so this is a pretty different animal.
It’s weird, but in this “venting” process of writing here it came to mind how much I miss my mom being available (& functional), & even my dad, as some of these issues I might have chosen to air out with them just a bit. There’s still a bit of sting in that.

The attorney working for you will make it much easier, IMO, to deal with Estate matters in a non-emotional way. The Estate situation then becomes a “business” situation.
This will give you time and space to grieve your father’s passing.
IMO, at some point, Josiah will need to come to terms with what HE wants in his life.
Enjoy your vacation time at the Cottage. If the Estate sibling / Executor is going to charge you for staying there, route the payment via YOUR attorney (that person sending the check), along with a letter stating that this attorney is representing your interests in the Estate.

Hubby has already made that mental switch with regards to my Trustee/Executor brother. In Hubby’s mind little bro is Not family, & depending on his mood & recent or historical “blows” he sometimes looks at him as his/our “enemy”…but definitely as a business relationship. It’s harder for me to compartmentalize in that way though. Blessings!
Just remember your brother (& his spouse) are looking at this as a business matter and the fact the family ‘OWES THEM’ for the care of your Dad in his later life. The last may not be a conscious thought on your brother’s part but it is probably there.
It’s certainly possible. There were some very weird aspects to their interactions with me surrounding my dad’s hospitalization, right after Easter, where I stayed w/ my dad 24/7 apart from bathroom breaks down the hall & stepping out of the room to the nurse’s station across the hall for various types of assistance, like more ice water. My SIL stayed with Dad the day before he went back to their house for a couple of hours while I, with SIL’s express OK, went to the Family Resource Center to use their computer but that is the only time I was apart from him for 72+ hours. SIL lied to the doctors about Dad’s mental functioning to get him out of the hospital (prematurely in my view) & took him back to their home where he had very significant issues for the first week+ back with them…sigh…
If they think the family “owes them” I think it is likely subconscious. SIL told N’s MIL at the funeral luncheon on June 15th that she wanted to get most of the estate issues wrapped up before the month ended (which is insane, imo). Her text later that day, just an hour+ after we got home after the “family business meeting” immediately following the funeral luncheon, where I’d indicated my desire to have both the Cottage & the Hilton hunting cabin (if Dad’s multiply verbally expressed wishes to have that property deeded directly to Hubby, our 3 non-disabled children, & M’s 3 decade hunting buddy Apart from my inheritance were not to be followed). Neither of my brothers have any interest in ownership of either of those properties, though the OK bro said if he lived in MI he’d share the Cottage with me “in a heartbeat”…
Anyway a couple hours after that meeting ended on Dad’s funeral day, Tuesday, SIL sent a text to everybody that they were meeting with people on Friday when they were in Gaylord to bury my dad “to prep the Cottage for sale”. Believe me we were completely flabbergasted by this twisted turn of events. We still don’t know that bro at any moment might just switch gears & list the Cottage for sale even though we are diligently trying to get it from the Estate, part of why we hired the Estate Attorney. It’s all Very Weird & quite Unsettling for our family, at least 🙁
I think I mentioned before that N’s MIL, who had 2+ decades in the funeral business, said she had Never Seen such a dysfunctional family approach as to how little bro Trustee/Executor & his wife were handling things & she literally shed tears about that in front of me. The extremely accelerated rate at which they were trying to wrap things up was bizzarro world & so hurtful to my family especially. I had no idea they were having the Estate Sale company walking through the day after the funeral when all siblings & bros’ spouses were to be at Dad’s house, ostensibly as far as I knew to just let our OK bro choose some items in person to take home in his car the following day. That they forced us, the Curren family, to attempt to review items in a 3 level home plus large garage in exactly a week following Dad’s funeral was completely unreasonable–my parents were pretty serious packrats & had lived in that home continuously since 1964!

FWIW, I just fielded a call from the guy who has represented the hunting club that leases our land and has for the past 40 yrs (we have been here for 30)
I could literally hear the tears in his voice. He was president of the club for 40 years. Now he is hearing thru the grapevine someone is pushing him out and contacting the landowners and getting leases behind his back. He wanted to know if we had been contacted and if we would still lease to him. Mean while he is being told he has to move his hunting stands off the other property. J is probably in his 70s and I think it is a very nasty move on the part of the Club members.

That family homestead I mentioned elsewhere w/ the 3 huge pines marking an ancestress’ “dead” doll’s grave was sold off to a Hunt Club back after my dad’s namesake grandpa died. I saw the historical deed with lots of famiy signatures on it & was bummed my grandpa & his siblings didn’t want to hold onto that historical family farmland. I have no idea if that Hunt Club still uses “our” land or not 🙄
Edit: It looks like the Hunt Club area was on different family property, in Oakland County, MI on the edge of Metro Detroit not where the doll was buried on a different homestead for a different branch of the family it seems. Our family property was sold to the Grosse Pointe Hunt Club (fox hunting & equestrian sports apparently) in the late 1950s I believe. We had family land in Dryden & Addison as far as I know. I’ll have to dig up those documents again to check things out!

I was able to observe a very smart estate plan. The executor was a cousin of the deceased who inherited nothing and only received moderate reimbursement from the estate for time and money spent. It worked perfectly, and was extremely fair, which was amazing, considering that some of the squabbling inheritors could not even talk to each other, and some exhibited mental illness, irrationality, and near-criminality.
The point is, your bro and his wife are extremely biased in this. I understand their concerns and can even sympathize with them, if they were primary caregivers, but railroading their preferred solution is not the way. I have to ask if it is possible for them to hand off executor duty to a mutually agreeable and more distant relative.
With the Fiancee and her sister, I recommended that their mother choose a bank as the executor. That worked very well, as they both had to gang up on the banker to do anything odd.

Little bro has stated multiple times how he is within his rights to do anything he chooses about the various properties etc., at a minimum, sell, rent, distribute, etc. His expansive rights are detailed multiple times within those 65 pages. The document however practically opens with a very straightforward clause that the Executor/Trustee is to do Everything for the Benefit of the Beneficiaries, fwiw. My family has suffered mental/emotional harm multiple ways since even before Dad died.
We are really afraid to speak up directly to him in case he interprets That harshly & straight up disinherits me…sigh…

Over the last several years I have been posting nonstop on X about the same nightmares we’ve been living through…the COVID psyop, the experimental mRNA shots, the mandates that destroyed lives, the injuries, the excess deaths, and the relentless propaganda machine that tried to silence anyone who noticed the bodies piling up. Now we have fresh, documented revelations that should have blown the lid off of everything. Instead? Crickets from the media and, more disappointingly, from the current administration that promised accountability.
Senator Ron Johnson dropped another devastating report and hearing in late April 2026: “Unmasked: How Biden Health Officials Purposely Turned a Blind Eye Toward COVID-19 Vaccine Safety Signals.” Internal records show FDA officials knew their VAERS monitoring was inadequate to say least. They had better data-mining tools ready to flag clear safety signals: cardiac deaths, strokes, pulmonary issues, Bell’s palsy but they chose not to use them. Why? To avoid “vaccine hesitancy.”
This was not screw-up territory. It was deliberate. Vaccine-injured people sat across from Peter Marks and other top FDA brass begging for acknowledgment. They got stonewalled. Johnson rightly calls this one of the biggest scandals in his decades in public service.
Then in early June he held another hearing exposing potential cancer links to the mRNA shots and the systematic suppression of critical studies. Same playbook: inconvenient science gets buried or attacked.

In 1976 the swine flu vaccine was pulled after 25 deaths and 500 cases of Guillain Barre Syndrome. In the covid shot era we have approximately 39,000 deaths reported to VAERS following the shot. Even more frustrating is the relative silence from the current Trump administration. After years of vowing to expose the lies and drain the swamp on the pandemic response, these revelations land and… not much follow-through. No aggressive push for accountability.
No sustained public reckoning for the officials who covered up safety signals or manipulated the origins story. That silence hits hard. Additionally the vaccines are still on the market and this administration is now complicit. What an epic failure!

They censored, gaslit, and destroyed lives to protect the narrative. Many institutions including public health, intelligence, media, Big Pharma were all in on it and still propagating the lies today.
That loss of trust is profound and permanent for millions of us. We no longer default to believing official statements. We demand primary data. The COVID era did not just damage credibility on one issue instead it shattered how an entire group of people view government, “experts,” and authority. “Doing your own research” proved to be a critical lifesaver.
The people in authority still defending the garbage jab or pretending none of this matters can keep taking their 12 boosters (dirty little secret… they are not). The rest of us are done. We are profoundly changed. More skeptical. More data driven. Less willing to comply. Team Humanity was born out of this mess.
The window for real accountability is slamming shut. Even if these official revelations get memory-holed, the lesson is clear: they never planned to come clean. They want us to forget and move on to the next crisis.

Ever since I had my “bleeding” incident by being at the Cottage & sleeping in the same bed my “vaxxed” aunt & later my “vaxxed” DIL slept in a month+ earlier than I slept in it (I spotted that entire week plus was Extremely Sick) I now discover spotting whenever I am in public for a number of hours, almost always when visiting U of M hospital even if I don’t touch another person. I’ve been post-menopausal for nearly a decade so this is Very Different for how my body has previously been 🙁
I also still have Long Covid but haven’t been serious with a protocol to see if I can kick it. It’s mostly heavy colored phlegm in the morning but sometimes coughing morning &/or evening, but no other symptoms.

I’ve decided on a red maple tree for mom.
Years ago, when my sister passed, I planted purple hyacinths in her honor on the bank in front of the garden. They came up and bloomed and smelled wonderful! the first year. then the squirrels dug up and ate the bulbs.
When hubby’s father died, the funeral home gave the family an evergreen sapling and hubby planted it in a pot and had it at his office. It currently is sitting in the corner in the living room. When his mom passed, we planted hers and had it on the deck where it was doing fine till something dug it out of the pot and it died.
Since then, my father passed and we got an oak tree for him. It’s growing just fine along the driveway–straight and perfectly shaped. I bought winter pear trees in memory of my sister and brother in law last year and they’re doing great as well–same side as Dad’s oak along the driveway. So i told hubby I want to put Mom’s tree between the oak and the pear trees and i picked a red maple–red was mom’s favorite color.

As a teen, I asked for a blue spruce for Christmas. We had it as a Christmas tree and then planted it in the front yard. Many years later I drove past the house and saw my beautiful blue spruce had grown taller than the 2 story house. The white paper birch, I had rescued from a construction site, by pulling it out with my thoroughbred X-race horse, had also grown in to a beautiful tree in the side yard.
And OAKS, Oh my we had a very old oak that must have been 4-5 feet in diameter. That house was just north of NYC and was probably there when the Americans were fighting the Brits.

So yes, trees make great living memorials. I hope yours live long into the future.

I think I mentioned before when my dad’s dad was with us in Western MI & he had us drive by the old family homestead where his grandma, iirc, had planted three pine trees to mark a broken doll’s grave. They were Huge & very close together when we saw them then & it made quite an impression on my teenage self! Beautiful bridges across time!
Yes they are. I have a favorite oak tree I drive past on the way into town. It sits at the edge of a field with no other trees around it. It just has such character that I like to watch it thru the seasons.
There are several trees I really enjoy observing over the years & the seasons too. Even their skeletal structure in Winter is beautiful 🙂

Interesting. There is a tree planted in the middle of the Huron River by a small dam, that we pass on the way to U of M hospital so I’ve been watching it literally for 30 years. It has beautiful flowers in the Spring & beautiful leaves in the Fall. It’s shape seems nearly perfectly roundly symetrical & it makes my heart sing practically every time I see it.
Of course some years ago some poor person’s body was tangled up on that “dam” so that Slightly lessens the overall joy…Thankfully I only read about that & didn’t witness it directly…

Speaking of analytical religious thought; the last “click” that cemented my Christian beliefs was my analysis of the Resurrection. I realized that, knowing what I do about human behavior, politics, and power, there was absolutely no possible way on Earth that Jesus didn’t rise from the grave.
The “powers” that killed him, the religious authority that was on the losing end of the Savior’s birth, death, and resurrection, would certainly have moved heaven and earth in pursuit of His body after His death and presented it as evidence that He was dead, could they have but done it. They would have tortured Joseph of Arimathea and his companions to reveal it. They would have pursued the Apostles in the period leading up to the Pentecost. They would have bribed, coerced, and exhorted every person they could find. They would have gone to ANY lengths necessary to maintain their power and control.
But there was no body to find, no death to be revealed, because the tomb was EMPTY.
And the true irony is, I would bet that deep down most of them understood their Messiah had come at last, and they had missed it. PRIDE would not let them admit it.

An exhortation to be constant and persevere, The example of Christ is set forth, and the gracious design of God in all the sufferings believers endured. (1-11) Peace and holiness are recommended, with cautions against despising spiritual blessings. (12-17) The New Testament dispensation shown to be much more excellent than the Old. (18-29)
18-29 Mount Sinai, on which the Jewish church state was formed, was a mount such as might be touched, though forbidden to be so, a place that could be felt; so the Mosaic dispensation was much in outward and earthly things. The gospel state is kind and condescending, suited to our weak frame. Under the gospel all may come with boldness to God’s presence. But the most holy must despair, if judged by the holy law given from Sinai, without a Saviour. Folks spoke above (or below 🤷♀️) about never taking an eye injection and the evils of the ingredients like chinese hamster ovaries. I woke up one morning 7 years ago in my mid 60s with VERY SUDDEN onset of wet macular degeneration in my left eye. My vision decline in that eye cannot be restored; the best I could hope for was slowing the decline to eventual total loss. All while knowing there is 100% certainty it will eventually occur in my right eye.
This situation for me is NOT AT ALL similar to declining the covid shots or age reversal crap. I have a healthy immune system; I would never have accepted a covid shot.
My eyes and my vision are the single most important organ to my quality of life. I could lose my hearing, my taste, my sense of smell or touch and not care. People think larger screens or audio replacing reading or blah blah blah will compensate for wet macular. THEY DON’t. i cannot describe the broken fractal that vision becomes AND THIS MONTHLY EYE INJECTION HAS STABILIZED MY VISION. For 7 years Avastin, then Eyelea and now Vabysmo have given me the gift of vision that I had no other way to save.
I am thankful every day for eye shots that work (and no discernible negative effects).
Informed decision and right to try should always be the way. I’d also prefer a bit of grace for the fact that none of us walks in another’s shoes. Saying you would “NEVER” …… on a medical choice without actually facing that decision … none of us knows what meducal decisions our future holds.

My father had serious eyeball degeneration and received a cocktail of drugs that stabilized it……which continued too long and cut off blood supply to his optic nerve. He now is legally blind, though his retina is reasonably healthy.
If he were going to live forever, I could hope for stem-cell therapy to try to regrow his optic nerve. I don’t think it will happen soon enough to help him.

Well in MI my special needs son benefits from staffing & respite care workers & has since he was in school. Now his sister is a trained staff for him so she can be on the clock & get paid for transporting him/us to his appointments & other things. It’s kind of a blessing in both of their lives. When she is “clocked in” she is actively managing his needs per her training & experience & when off the clock she’s just his sister. He’s had a relatively young man as a staff for probably about a decade now & they have a great supportive relationship. For these services Josiah gets “supports coordination” from the local Community Mental Health organization we’ve worked with since he was in grade school at least. He also gets some oversight from the organization that pays both of his workers. In fact a leader from that company & his supports coordinator are supposed to do a home visit with him on Monday. The SC has basically only been doing monthly video calls since the covid era so being in-person will potentially be a return to what was “normal” pre-covid criminality…

Per our Senator Hagerty today, they are inserting the primary provisions of SAVE into the next (third) budget reconciliation bill. The House had been crafting it and Graham’s Senate committee is interacting with them currently. They plan to get it done and will be using financial methods so the Parliamentarian will have no grounds for denial.

I don’t know if it’s a question of semantics, that maybe there is no footage of the actual shot being taken (even though Sortor says there is), but there is footage of every other detail, showing Robinson on the roof with the gun, clearly in position at the time the shot was taken, etc.

Let me get risky here and predict that this video does not get admitted at trial unless at least two experts testify that the vid does not and cannot have any A.I. in it. I predict that the dueling experts [the defense will have a couple also] will take up at least a day of voir dire questioning.
If the probable cause ruling is based in any way on this ENHANCED video, I predict an immediate defense request for appellate review.
Because the video elicited such emotional reaction, it will not be admitted. I cannot figure out why this judge would allow anyone to see this, let alone the courtroom attendees. IMO it should have been sealed, not viewed.

Certain types of cichlids are known as “mouthbrooders” — the female will lay eggs on a rock, the male will pass above them and fertilize them with milt, then the female will pick them up in her mouth and ferry them from place to place (typically while not eating). Once the fry hatch, she will take them to a nice place for them to find food and release them there; she will then collect them again and find another place.
Synodontis catfish will dart in and lay eggs among the happy cichlid couple’s brood and be picked up by the female. They hatch faster and grow faster than the cichlid’s fry, and soon start eating their “siblings”.
It is not unusual for all of the cichlid fry to eventually be catfish food. The only mother the Synodontis will ever have known will have spent time and resources to raise baby fish who share none of her DNA.
Speaking of cichlids, there are certain males that retain their juvenile coloration past their maturity. While there’s all this commotion with a mated pair around a spawning site, they dive-bomb in to deposit a bit of milt on the eggs, thus diluting the mating male’s DNA contribution.
The technical term for these are “sneakers”.
