This will be a short post, but hopefully there will be many more of them.
I don’t know when we began defaulting to BIG DAILIES and fewer and fewer dedicated posts, but that is not the way things were in the beginning.
Remember the beginning? Some of you probably do.

It was the end of 2018 – just before Trump’s first mid-term election. Q was almost a year old, and the Q culture was developing, but basically new, and somewhat underground. People were talking, and Sundance was getting annoyed with “Q quoting” creeping onto his site – even in the open threads. I began this site in the middle of September. Two months later, after the midterm in November, Sundance would ban Q discussion for good.
Do you remember the first years of this site, when I often used the term “Qth of” as a term for the 17th of any month?

Yeah, those were the days. I’m still nostalgic for those years, but part of me tells me that they can never come back, and – to be honest – they shouldn’t come back.
Recently, I referred obliquely in passing to our “mission” – yes, it was on the Nth of July this year – and Robert Baker pointed out that he was unaware what our mission actually was. It was further pointed out by Pat Frederick that “a mission statement would be nice”!
That was the initial inspiration for this post.
I certainly had a mission at the beginning. I wanted to talk about Q with my fellow Treepers, but I also respected Sundance’s desire (and this is nobody’s quote, but we all understood it to be the case) to “keep that shit off of CTH” – one might say.
I think I had hoped that we could defuse the situation at CTH – that people could talk about Q somewhere else, and keep it zipped about Q on CTH. Sadly, that just didn’t work. Worse still, people were not silent about the issue – either here, OR on CTH itself. Very quickly, this site became a hotbed of criticism of Sundance, and it would even appear on CTH itself, sometimes muffled, sometimes not.
I won’t belabor the point, but those were our beginnings. You can even look at the first post, as a kind of check on my initial intent.
As we steered further away from The Last Refuge, we dug deeper and deeper into the Q psy-op itself, largely believing that whoever was behind it, those people were basically “white hats” to the American cause.
I personally believe that we always had one of the best, smartest, and most balanced views of “Q” and the “Q movement” on the web. That viewpoint is well encapsulated by our “About” statement, which I composed after January 6, 2021, for the benefit of any visitors after that time.
The “About” page, however, is not a mission statement, nor does it contain one. I am actually rather loath to propose a mission statement too abruptly, and in particular because I feel that our mission has changed over time. However, we have had several “tag lines” on the site, and those are surprisingly close to our changing mission.
You can see our first tagline here.

“A flock of Treepers seeking deep knowledge of the prime number 17.”
I loved that tagline. It’s “mathy”!
A later tagline followed after January Sixth.

“Let us live the rest of our lives as love letters to future historians, and leave TRUTH behind.”
A lot of great things happened after that downer of a time – even TRUTH SOCIAL. Indeed, adversity builds character, and January Sixth was – perhaps – a whip in the ass that we all needed.

Later – and I think this was after we had become very good at “reading past the enemy’s tea leaves” – I changed the tagline to a great quote from Robert Oppenheimer, that I believe barkerjim posted. It is still our current tagline.

“We do not believe any group of men adequate enough or wise enough to operate without scrutiny or without criticism. We know that the only way to avoid error is to detect it, that the only way to detect it is to be free to inquire. We know that in secrecy error undetected will flourish and subvert.” –J. Robert Oppenheimer
I love the quote, but it’s not a great mission statement.
So – what is our mission? Well, I think it’s still, in part, what it has always been – a rational discussion of the Q psy-op, to which all are welcome, from “true believers” to blatant skeptics. But that’s only part of the story.
We are MAGA – even when we sometimes voice criticisms of its founder, our amazing President, Donald J. Trump.
We are diehards about TRUTH, JUSTICE, and THE AMERICAN WAY. We are not all fans of Superman, but we love the elements of HIS tagline.
We are not sidetracked by any one issue. We are not diverted from our purposes regarding Q, MAGA, and Trump. When it looked like we were turning into a COVID blog, I put a stop to it, as painful as that was – for me personally, and for the rest of us.
We will NEVER accept the idea that God cannot be present, and loved, in EVERY discussion on this blog. That is our strength. That is our secret weapon. We believe in a return to the original and divinely protected free speech of this nation’s founding – NOT to the secularized, godless, fragile substitute that was demanded by later godless and satanic arrivals to our shores.
SO – I do think we are a flock of Treepers – rather independent ones – who are on a separate mission to Make America Great Again. We are patriots who believe that there exist other patriots defending America from within the government. Yet while we are always of good faith, we still demand facts. We demand truth.
In a nutshell, our mission as God-fearing and God-loving patriots is to defend this Constitutional Republic, and to increase its greatness in all good things and ways. We do this by using our voices in free but courteous speech, discussing the happenings of the world, and coming to a profound understanding of those things, which can be shared with all people and peoples. We then share and promulgate the truth, on both this platform and others.
And maybe that mission statement is too verbose, but let it suffice for now.
Or shorten it, at barkerjim also suggested, to “We’re on a mission from God!”

Speaking of Whom…….God bless you all!
